- 0:01SPEAKER_00: God bless you.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: This is Pastor Millie.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: And as I was reading the Bible, God gave me an inlight on his word with the Ecclesiastic chapter 5.
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: We see that there's many people that are doing whatever it takes to make money, and it's gotten to a point that they have forgotten that God says put him first, right?
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Many people have forgotten that and they continue to go crazy.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: But the book of Ecclesiastics, chapter 5, chapter 5, verse 8 says, If you see the poor oppressed in a this district, in a district, and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: For one official is I by a higher one, and over them both are over higher still.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: The increase from the land is taken by all.
- 1:09SPEAKER_00: Consumes them.
- 1:11SPEAKER_00: And what benefit are they to the owners, except to feast their eyes on them, to feast their eyes on them.
- 1:17SPEAKER_00: The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much, but as for the rich, their abundance permits them to not sleep.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: I have seen a grievous even under the sun.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: Wealth orders to the harm of its owners.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: So we come to think of it.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: The truth about money is whether we believe it or not, the more you have, the more you want.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Because it says it in verse 5, in chapter 5, verse 10.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: It says, The more you have, the more you want.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: It says, Whoever loves money never has enough.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: This too is meaningless.
- 1:55SPEAKER_00: And then it says in the word of God, the more you have, the more you spend.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: And we see that in chapter 5, verse 10.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: It says to us, Whoever loves money never has enough.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: This too is meaningless.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: But if you look down, the more you have, the more you worry.
- 2:17SPEAKER_00: So the word of God lets us know the more we have.
- 2:20SPEAKER_00: It says, the more we worry.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether they eat little or much.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: But as for the rich, their abundance permits them no sleep.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: So the more you have, the less you will sleep because you worry.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: It says, The more you have, the more you you lose.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: So the more you have, the more you lose.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: And we see that in chapter 5, verse 13.
- 2:44SPEAKER_00: It says, I have seen a grievous evil under the sun.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: Wealth hoarded to the harm of its owners.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Because the love of money can drive you crazy.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: So we have to be very careful for that.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Then it says that the more we have, the more we leave.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Because whatever we have is from God.
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: So it is God's money.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Everything we have, we have to be thankful to God.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: So we have to do what is right that pleases him.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: When all is said and done, our ability to earn money is God's gift to us.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: So everything we have is God's gift to us.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: He gave us the ability to earn what we have when we need the same ability to enjoy it.
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: You see, the word of God says that in Matthew 6 33, it says, Seek first the kingdom, and he will supply all these things.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: But anyone who embursed the process and lives as if money was the goal will miss not only the joy of what he or she has, but also the sense of God's blessing on her life or his life.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: So we have to be very careful because we see that so many people are desperate to make money and they're forgetting to put what matters the most, God first in their life.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: At the end of the day, we are dust in the wind.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: We're here today, we don't know what can happen tomorrow.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: And when we're so busy um trying to make money and storing up our riches here on earth, we have to be very careful because the word of God says it very clear in Matthew chapter 6, verse 33.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: To put first, seek first the kingdom of God, and then all these things will be added to you.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: So we have to be very careful because the more we have, the more we want.
- 4:31SPEAKER_00: The more we have, the more we lose.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: The more you have, the more you leave.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: Because at the end of the day, everything stays behind, and someone else will come and enjoy it.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: The best thing to do is worry about your life with God, how God sees you, and how much you're putting first the kingdom of God here on earth, than worrying about having so much money because at the end of the day, when you have so much money, you're not able to sleep right as well.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: Because you wonder what you're gonna do with it.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: And haven't you noticed many rich people?
- 5:06SPEAKER_00: They have money, they have everything, material possessions, but they don't have something that cannot be purchased with money, peace in their hearts.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: May God bless you.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much for the tuning in.
- 5:18SPEAKER_00: And I just felt to bring this word to someone who is struggling and someone who is seeing what they have so little, because now money has come to their mind and they forget about the best treasures in heaven.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Store them up in heaven, the treasures.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: May God bless you.
