- 0:52Speaker 4: Do you your kids like to sleep in the morning.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Yeah, we got some sleepers.
- 0:55Speaker 4: I woke up today at my normal time, got up
- 0:57Speaker 4: about five point forty and I heard like thuds from
- 1:01Speaker 4: because my kids are beds on the second floor right house.
- 1:04Speaker 4: I heard thuds. My kids were awake at like five
- 1:06Speaker 4: point forty five, playing, all of them, all three?
- 1:08Speaker 2: What are we doing?
- 1:09Speaker 4: What are we doing that?
- 1:12Speaker 2: You should have said? Do you know what dad would
- 1:14Speaker 2: do to be able to go back to bed right now.
- 1:17Speaker 4: Yeah, do it for me, guys, do it.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Let me live through you.
- 1:21Speaker 4: I'm not supposed to be seeing y'all before I head
- 1:23Speaker 4: off the radio. Hey, Taylor in the Taylor back in studio,
- 1:27Speaker 4: you sounded awful during your announcements coming in an hour three.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Just want you to know that he sounded a bad Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 4: I'm sure he didn't even look good.
- 1:33Speaker 2: He sounded it terrible. Probably had probably had just a
- 1:36Speaker 2: resting you know what face as he was reading it.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Oh, there's no doubt. Yeah, look terrible. I know it's
- 1:41Speaker 4: his birthday and everything, and people are supposed to be
- 1:43Speaker 4: nice to him, but some people hadn't earned it.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Well, is there anything you can do about that? No?
- 1:50Speaker 4: That just changes everything.

- 2:24Speaker 2: bite supports LSU Go Tigers. Speaking of Rosses, by the way,
- 2:29Speaker 2: we'll be there tomorrow and every Friday during the football season,
- 2:33Speaker 2: and I'm sure tomorrow one of our conversations will be
- 2:37Speaker 2: about the result of the Washington Commanders and the Green
- 2:41Speaker 2: Bay Packers from lambeau Field. I'm so fine JD five
- 2:46Speaker 2: versus Jordan Love. I'm going for the Commanders, right, I mean,
- 2:50Speaker 2: I got a cheer for my guys, JD five. The
- 2:52Speaker 2: Packers don't have an LSU guy on their team, I
- 2:55Speaker 2: can't cheer for them.
- 2:56Speaker 4: Okay, but I would expect, I would expect most people
- 2:58Speaker 4: around here absolutely to be cheering for the command That great.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I'm cheering for definite for Jaden and definitely not Taylor,
- 3:06Speaker 2: definitely not Tall.
- 3:06Speaker 4: I'm cheering for ja That's gonna be a good game.
- 3:08Speaker 4: Like when I watch NFL games, I usually cheer for storylines,
- 3:12Speaker 4: I cheer for people I like, players I like, and
- 3:14Speaker 4: then I cheer for the Packers as well. So I'll
- 3:16Speaker 4: be cheering for JD. It's just not like I see
- 3:21Speaker 4: the Packers play the like the Lions last week. I'm definitely,
- 3:25Speaker 4: I'm one hundred percent all in. I don't want them
- 3:27Speaker 4: to lose the Lions. But like you know, if JD
- 3:29Speaker 4: goes off and beats the Packers, I don't see that happening.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I think the Packers are way too good. There's gonna
- 3:34Speaker 4: be a lot of juice that defense. My god, it
- 3:37Speaker 4: looks like when they when the when the other team
- 3:39Speaker 4: is running the ball, it looks like a zombie apocalypse
- 3:42Speaker 4: because you got eleven Packers flying to the ball and
- 3:44Speaker 4: you don't always get that in NFL regular season, right,
- 3:48Speaker 4: A lot of times it's NFL regular season, it's all professionals.
- 3:52Speaker 4: People know that it's livelihoods at stake here, and they
- 3:56Speaker 4: know it's a long season. So a lot of times,
- 3:57Speaker 4: like if an offensive lineman has a good set and
- 4:00Speaker 4: lost the defensive linemen up, it's like, all right, cool,
- 4:02Speaker 4: play over, like you got me this time. Next play,
- 4:04Speaker 4: I might get you. And if I if I I'll
- 4:06Speaker 4: give effort, like if I if I think I can
- 4:08Speaker 4: get it. But there's a lot of brother in law,
- 4:10Speaker 4: so just you know, was opening open and Opening weekend
- 4:14Speaker 4: they were flying around like it was playoff football, and
- 4:16Speaker 4: I would expect kind of that same energy. I mean,
- 4:18Speaker 4: it's prime time, it's nighttime, it's uh Thursday night football.
- 4:24Speaker 4: So man, I'm fired up. But good god, if anybody
- 4:28Speaker 4: would ever thought that JD's season was a fluke last year, well,
- 4:32Speaker 4: just turn on Week one. Yeah he looked great. Yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 4: it look great. And that guy is just no sophomore
- 4:40Speaker 4: a sophomore slump. It's the guy was just a ball
- 4:42Speaker 4: and nothing that he did last last year was an accident.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Like everything that when he plays, he plays in control.
- 4:49Speaker 4: He has a moxie about him, he's got poised, and
- 4:53Speaker 4: he's just just a smart football player. And he has
- 4:57Speaker 4: built that football IQ. He has worked on it from
- 5:01Speaker 4: his time at LSU, using the virtual reality. Being able
- 5:04Speaker 4: to take coaching and do something when he did something bad,
- 5:07Speaker 4: able to turn that around and not do that again. Yeah,
- 5:11Speaker 4: which people a lot of people can't do. It's the difference.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Like that's what the term coachable means, right, It's like
- 5:16Speaker 4: when you're coachable, like a coach only has to correct
- 5:19Speaker 4: you on something once, right, and if it's twice, you know,
- 5:23Speaker 4: then he gets the three, four or five like that's
- 5:24Speaker 4: in the NFL, you see a lot of good athletes
- 5:27Speaker 4: not make teams because they don't have time to continue
- 5:31Speaker 4: to coach. You coach the same thing over and over.
- 5:34Speaker 4: But JD one of the greatest turnarounds I've ever seen
- 5:39Speaker 4: from a week to week standpoint, was at LSU when
- 5:44Speaker 4: he turned like it was like one quarterback was playing
- 5:47Speaker 4: one week and then I saw this other quarterback play
- 5:49Speaker 4: the next week and they weren't the same right after
- 5:52Speaker 4: the Tennessee game and it wasn't the same person, and
- 5:54Speaker 4: it was never the same person again. And it was
- 5:56Speaker 4: the most impressive thing I've ever seen because we saw
- 5:58Speaker 4: the physically physical talent. He doesn't have like the most
- 6:01Speaker 4: when he got LSU didn't have the most like traditional mechanics,
- 6:04Speaker 4: and I was kind of a hater on that from
- 6:05Speaker 4: a mechanical standpoint, But if you get to the it
- 6:09Speaker 4: doesn't matter what your takeaway when you're a quarterback with
- 6:12Speaker 4: your takeaway. When I say takeaway, your your left hands
- 6:15Speaker 4: touching the ball. You're in your drop back, and when
- 6:17Speaker 4: you take the ball away from your left hand, that's
- 6:19Speaker 4: I know the takeaway. It doesn't matter what that looks like.
- 6:22Speaker 4: When you get to the end. There's your elbow in front,
- 6:24Speaker 4: is it up? Are you extending out? Like there's different?
- 6:27Speaker 4: Like you looked at Philip Rivers, you get Cam Newton,
- 6:29Speaker 4: you looked at Tom Brady, Drew Brees, like you looked
- 6:31Speaker 4: at all these guys. So I take the best quarterbacks,
- 6:34Speaker 4: and then I take the guys that had like funky
- 6:35Speaker 4: mechanics like Philip Rivers, like Cam Newton. They all look
- 6:39Speaker 4: different throwing the ball from the takeaway and how they
- 6:42Speaker 4: got to the to the front of their throwing motion,
- 6:44Speaker 4: to the back end of the throw motion. So but
- 6:46Speaker 4: they all look the exact same. When you get stills
- 6:49Speaker 4: towards the end of the throw motion, it doesn't matter
- 6:51Speaker 4: how they got there. They got there. Now, when you
- 6:54Speaker 4: look at bad mechanics, the takeaways bad, and they don't
- 6:57Speaker 4: get there, they don't get that elbow in the arm slot.
- 7:01Speaker 4: And JD does that. Yeah, sometimes it didn't look conventional,
- 7:05Speaker 4: but he does it. And man, he's accurate. He's an
- 7:07Speaker 4: accurate passer. But mentally, man, what he built that football.
- 7:12Speaker 4: IQ so excited to see him progress. I can only
- 7:16Speaker 4: imagine that his career production is just going to keep
- 7:20Speaker 4: improving and improving and improving because we saw a mistake
- 7:23Speaker 4: that he made this past weekend with a little clock
- 7:25Speaker 4: management thrown away, get an intentional ground and call into
- 7:27Speaker 4: the first half ten second runoffs. That will never happen again,
- 7:32Speaker 4: right to j Na. Yeah, it might happen again to
- 7:35Speaker 4: some other guy in another young quarterback, but I can
- 7:38Speaker 4: guarantee you that will never happen to him again because
- 7:40Speaker 4: he's a guy that processes information, he learns from his mistakes,
- 7:44Speaker 4: and he's coachable.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah, man, I credit him a lot because he was like,
- 7:47Speaker 2: look his freshman year at Arizona State, like he had
- 7:50Speaker 2: some big moments, and he had Brandy Ayuk and he
- 7:52Speaker 2: had Ricky Piersol and Rashe White like they were talented,
- 7:55Speaker 2: and he went out there and he did like against Oregon,
- 7:57Speaker 2: he made so many plays right, and it was just
- 7:59Speaker 2: like off his raw athletic ability. But for him to understand, Okay,
- 8:03Speaker 2: I've got this gift, right, I'm a hard worker. Let
- 8:07Speaker 2: me pair that with all the things that I have
- 8:09Speaker 2: access to to be able to build this football like
- 8:12Speaker 2: you and now like you watch it, and I think
- 8:15Speaker 2: his football, like Q is one of the best in
- 8:17Speaker 2: the NFL. YEP, it is high, high level and the
- 8:21Speaker 2: things that he gets done, and you pair that with
- 8:23Speaker 2: his athletic ability, with his ability to throw the football, like,
- 8:26Speaker 2: that's what makes it so impressive, is and he continues
- 8:28Speaker 2: to work, continues to try to strive to be the
- 8:31Speaker 2: best possible version of himself there, which is extremely high.
- 8:35Speaker 2: And now, like Jeff Hafley and that Packers defense, they
- 8:39Speaker 2: got to try to deal with it, and they were
- 8:40Speaker 2: super aggressive in that first game. But as good as
- 8:43Speaker 2: Jared Golf is, he's not Jayden Daniels. They're a completely
- 8:46Speaker 2: different quarterbacks. So the game plan has got to be different.
- 8:49Speaker 4: Yeah, let me tell you this. Let's not undervalue the
- 8:52Speaker 4: addition of Michael Parsons that Green Bay defense in this game.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Because if there is somebody that knows how to play
- 9:00Speaker 4: Jayden Daniels, it's the guy that played him twice last year. Yeah,
- 9:03Speaker 4: it's the guy that figured out a game plan last
- 9:06Speaker 4: season alone. In two games the Cowboys versus the Commanders,
- 9:10Speaker 4: Micah Parsons had four and a half sacks. That's pretty
- 9:12Speaker 4: good versus Jayden Daniels. Hard to sack that guy. Yeah, right, sure,
- 9:16Speaker 4: So he understands, and so don't undervalue what he brings
- 9:21Speaker 4: to the table of just a Hey Micah, what'd y'all
- 9:25Speaker 4: do last year? How did y'all affect him in the
- 9:28Speaker 4: pass rush? And his coach being able to coach that
- 9:31Speaker 4: defensive line in Green Bay is hungry, hungry young guys
- 9:34Speaker 4: that want to learn, and you don't think they're picking
- 9:36Speaker 4: Michael Parson's brain. Hey Michael, how did you get that?
- 9:39Speaker 4: You get home? How did you get home? Where on
- 9:42Speaker 4: your pass rush from the defensive end? What was your
- 9:45Speaker 4: aiming point on Jade and Daniels? Where are you aiming
- 9:47Speaker 4: for his back hip? Where you aiming for his front hip?
- 9:49Speaker 4: When you got to his level on the field. If
- 9:52Speaker 4: he's standing on the thirty five and you're rushing, did
- 9:55Speaker 4: you stop on the thirty five? Did you stop your
- 9:57Speaker 4: rush on the thirty four and peel back? Did you
- 9:59Speaker 4: stop it on the thirty six? Did you go behind
- 10:01Speaker 4: him and then peel back?
- 10:02Speaker 5: Like?
- 10:02Speaker 4: What was the coaching point? Because four and a half
- 10:05Speaker 4: sacks in two games versus Jaydon Daniels is a shocking
- 10:08Speaker 4: number to me. Yeah for one person. Yeah, I'm four
- 10:12Speaker 4: and f sacks in two games against them in a game,
- 10:14Speaker 4: is right? Okay, that's that sounds right. But four and
- 10:17Speaker 4: a half sacks from one player. That is a type
- 10:20Speaker 4: of impact. And that's why he commanded forty whatever billion
- 10:24Speaker 4: dollars a year or whatever he got.
- 10:26Speaker 2: So don't just punch in the air right now, punch
- 10:30Speaker 2: in the air.
- 10:31Speaker 4: I'ld be accidentally hits the wall even though his birthday,
- 10:35Speaker 4: even though his birthday. I'm just kidding. I don't mist
- 10:37Speaker 4: that on any man.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Tough, tough scene. It's not gonna be a tough scene.
- 10:41Speaker 2: When you work with Tommy's Go Tommy, g e a

- 13:38Speaker 2: we are live here at Pro Dreams thirty nine thirty
- 13:41Speaker 2: burd Bank Drive. Pro dash Dreams dot com is the website,
- 13:45Speaker 2: but it is Thursday. It is nine fifteen, so you
- 13:48Speaker 2: know what that means. Our guy chef Michael Johnson joins us. Now, Chef,
- 13:53Speaker 2: what's going on? Brother? How we doing? How we living?
- 13:56Speaker 5: I'm good brother?
- 13:56Speaker 2: There are we all, uh doing good. But I think
- 14:00Speaker 2: you're doing a little bit better. I think you had
- 14:02Speaker 2: some fun this week, my man. I think you you
- 14:04Speaker 2: took our opponent. You said, you know what, I'm not
- 14:06Speaker 2: gonna wait till Saturday. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go
- 14:09Speaker 2: find myself some gators here coming up for during the
- 14:11Speaker 2: middle of the week.
- 14:13Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, I had been talking with Chase clemong
- 14:17Speaker 5: about just for quite some time when we cook gator
- 14:20Speaker 5: every years for me, you know too, it's it's also
- 14:23Speaker 5: about celebrating the Louisian heritage.
- 14:26Speaker 4: You know.
- 14:26Speaker 5: It's it's about uh, you know, as a chef, I
- 14:29Speaker 5: have to appreciate the process of what it takes to
- 14:32Speaker 5: get food to table or or swamp the table as
- 14:34Speaker 5: it may be. Right, it was definitely one of those things,
- 14:39Speaker 5: and I wanted to be able to say, hey, you know,
- 14:41Speaker 5: we went and harvested this, we brought it to you guys.
- 14:44Speaker 5: This is uh, this is our our homage to you
- 14:47Speaker 5: guys as a team. You know, not just about playing
- 14:50Speaker 5: the gators this week, but it is about also about
- 14:53Speaker 5: Louisiana heritage and eating alligators part of our lifestyle here.
- 14:56Speaker 5: So you know, it was it's just been. It was
- 14:59Speaker 5: such a cool experience. Man. We spent some time with
- 15:01Speaker 5: the Cajun Navy and UH and understanding what they did,
- 15:06Speaker 5: did do end did and you know, it was just
- 15:09Speaker 5: a really great experience. And I got to spend some
- 15:11Speaker 5: time with j. R. Belton, the director of Football OPOS.
- 15:13Speaker 5: We went now with me and he got him a
- 15:16Speaker 5: little gat too, and we got the bond a little
- 15:18Speaker 5: bit and so it was I mean, it's just an
- 15:20Speaker 5: extraordinary experience.
- 15:22Speaker 4: So tell me about the guy, Like so size of
- 15:24Speaker 4: the gator, what was the like? Was there cool stories
- 15:27Speaker 4: about like, just tell tell me about the whole experience.
- 15:32Speaker 5: So, you know, we we we checked probably fifteen lines
- 15:36Speaker 5: in the morning, several of which had been had been stripped.
- 15:40Speaker 5: There was a there was a couple of real small
- 15:43Speaker 5: with the call pups that were under three feet probably
- 15:45Speaker 5: you know, for under four foot three foot something like that.
- 15:49Speaker 5: We ended up with two small gators which we brought
- 15:51Speaker 5: back to cook on the smoker because they are sizeable.
- 15:55Speaker 5: Of the two cook on the smoker, the one that
- 15:57Speaker 5: I killed was nine feet and I think that thing
- 16:01Speaker 5: probably went three fifty. Man, it was to me what
- 16:05Speaker 5: I would consider a you know when you're standing on
- 16:07Speaker 5: the ground. So the gator that I killed, it was
- 16:11Speaker 5: it was on it was on land, right, and so
- 16:14Speaker 5: I had to get out of the boat, go on land,
- 16:16Speaker 5: straddle the gator in order to make the kill shot.
- 16:19Speaker 5: And you know, there's a very small area that actually
- 16:23Speaker 5: killed and so you have to be you know, precise
- 16:26Speaker 5: in what you're doing. And there's a reaction to it.
- 16:30Speaker 5: You know, I don't recall ever having my blood pumping
- 16:34Speaker 5: and adrenaline rushing quite like, so you know, like standing
- 16:38Speaker 5: next to this prehistoric creature that has you know, a
- 16:43Speaker 5: severe business end, it was. It was just exotically adrenaline rush,
- 16:51Speaker 5: you know what I mean. So then we got it
- 16:53Speaker 5: back in the boat that kept twitching. I think, I
- 16:56Speaker 5: think J R. And I we're kind of anticipating this
- 17:00Speaker 5: Tommy Boy moment where rears up in the boat and
- 17:04Speaker 5: everybody's shattering.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:06Speaker 5: So yeah, it was awesome.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Oh man, that is that's hilarious. Uh So, chev like,
- 17:11Speaker 2: does the team like they appreciate like now, like you know,
- 17:16Speaker 2: you got this deal, like and they're gonna have a
- 17:18Speaker 2: chance to you know, have gator this week, and is
- 17:20Speaker 2: this something that kind of maybe even fires them up
- 17:22Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 17:24Speaker 5: You know, we we don't make a big deal out
- 17:25Speaker 5: of it until Monday, you know, like I don't celebrate
- 17:28Speaker 5: it until we celebrate it, right, So if if in
- 17:31Speaker 5: the event that we've been we we will smoke the
- 17:34Speaker 5: gator sohoul all day Monday and it presents them, you know,
- 17:37Speaker 5: as full gators. And if we don't win, we don't
- 17:39Speaker 5: want to be so moistuous about it, and we'll like
- 17:41Speaker 5: pick it and black and gator and and just put
- 17:45Speaker 5: it into dishes that we would otherwise serve anyway, you
- 17:48Speaker 5: know what I mean, So that it's it's not so
- 17:51Speaker 5: in your face, you know, we we we uh are
- 17:54Speaker 5: trying to be thoughtful about our process, you know what
- 17:56Speaker 5: I mean.
- 17:57Speaker 4: Yeah, So when you when you kill a gator, and
- 18:00Speaker 4: did you do the like the butcher in yourself? Is
- 18:03Speaker 4: it just the tail that we eat or is there
- 18:05Speaker 4: like a gator backstrap? Is there other parts?
- 18:08Speaker 5: Oh? Yeah, yeah, I mean there's there's definitely multiple parts
- 18:11Speaker 5: of the gator that you need. We uh the big
- 18:14Speaker 5: one I left behind and they peeled and cleaned. I
- 18:16Speaker 5: think Chase actually did that one himself. The the the
- 18:21Speaker 5: guy that we went out with had did the did
- 18:24Speaker 5: the two smaller ones for us pretty quickly. Man, it
- 18:27Speaker 5: was impressive like a guy, it was uh impressive with
- 18:31Speaker 5: the knife. And that's coming from a chef, you know
- 18:33Speaker 5: what I mean, very comfortable and confident with his knife.
- 18:36Speaker 5: And but to your point about the question of the meat,
- 18:38Speaker 5: there's actually different textures of meat, and there's different types
- 18:40Speaker 5: of muscle tissues the gaters have. Gaters have a third
- 18:43Speaker 5: kind of muscle tissue around their jaw that is meant
- 18:46Speaker 5: to clinch that thing tight down, you know, in a
- 18:48Speaker 5: in a millisecond, right, and that that muscle tissue super
- 18:53Speaker 5: tender e thrial tender. It's kind of like pork wine
- 18:55Speaker 5: or pork pork tenderline, you know. And the flavor of
- 18:59Speaker 5: it mimics somewhere between pork and turkey, as do the legs, right,
- 19:04Speaker 5: So they use those legs for swimming a lot. And
- 19:06Speaker 5: they have it's a dark meat, right, so they there's
- 19:09Speaker 5: there's a lot of myoglobe in there. It makes the
- 19:12Speaker 5: meat dark and and it makes it, uh you know,
- 19:15Speaker 5: more flavorful. And again it tastes a lot like pork,
- 19:18Speaker 5: somewhere between pork and turkey. The tail actually, you know,
- 19:22Speaker 5: has tons of meat on it obviously, and but it's
- 19:25Speaker 5: a it's a lighter, wider meat that that. You know
- 19:28Speaker 5: it excuse the expression, but it tastes like chicken, you
- 19:32Speaker 5: know what I mean, Like it really does. It really
- 19:34Speaker 5: is mimic of chicken. Now, there is a difference between
- 19:38Speaker 5: eating wild gater, arm gater, farm gator. The fat content
- 19:42Speaker 5: it tends to be a little stronger because the diet varies.
- 19:46Speaker 5: A farm gator has a controlled diet that is the
- 19:49Speaker 5: same every day, and a wild gater eats what it finds, right,
- 19:52Speaker 5: sometimes that's live fish, sometimes it's not, you know, so
- 19:58Speaker 5: you have to prepare a lot gator, trim some of
- 20:01Speaker 5: the fat off in a little bit more. You know.
- 20:02Speaker 5: The age of the gator impacts the flavor of it
- 20:05Speaker 5: as well. The size of the gator impacts the flavor
- 20:08Speaker 5: of it as well, So you know, you have a
- 20:12Speaker 5: you have a kind of an optimum size there. And
- 20:15Speaker 5: the younger the gators, the speeder, it is, like, the
- 20:17Speaker 5: less likely it is to have a real profound, uh flavor.
- 20:21Speaker 5: So not only that it's easier to put in the
- 20:23Speaker 5: out Yeah.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Not to like change the conversation away from a dead gator,
- 20:28Speaker 4: because nobody likes a dead gator on Florida Week more
- 20:30Speaker 4: than me. But what you're what you're explaining to me
- 20:33Speaker 4: sounds so. I judged a gumbo cook off one time,
- 20:37Speaker 4: and the chef that made this gumbo, it was all
- 20:41Speaker 4: the protein was from a snapping river turtle, like a
- 20:44Speaker 4: big one of the big old and he was explaining
- 20:47Speaker 4: to me, and it blew my mind. He was like,
- 20:49Speaker 4: there's I think he said, either five or six types
- 20:52Speaker 4: of meat in this one animal. There's white meat, there's
- 20:55Speaker 4: dark meat, there's pork, there's like some sort of fish
- 20:59Speaker 4: like that. All the different types, and what you're explaining
- 21:01Speaker 4: about the alligator, it sounds really similar.
- 21:04Speaker 5: It really is. It is kind of similar. And turtles
- 21:07Speaker 5: are equally as interesting to me. You know, like I
- 21:09Speaker 5: eat about anything as a chef, I feel like I
- 21:13Speaker 5: have to, you know, if I'm going to ask somebody
- 21:14Speaker 5: to eat something new and interesting, you know, what what
- 21:18Speaker 5: does that mean of me?
- 21:18Speaker 4: If I want to?
- 21:19Speaker 5: You know what I mean? So turtles, absolutely, there's different textures.
- 21:23Speaker 5: You know. I think that there's some beat on a
- 21:25Speaker 5: turtle almost that would remind you of clam that that
- 21:28Speaker 5: gets really tense and tough, and there's you know, like, uh,
- 21:33Speaker 5: there's other pieces, like you said, that's kind of turkey
- 21:35Speaker 5: and porks.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Yep, chef how like. And we've got a lot of
- 21:40Speaker 2: these questions inside the chat about just like maybe all
- 21:44Speaker 2: the different ways to cook a gator and do you
- 21:47Speaker 2: ever switch it up or do you say, you know
- 21:49Speaker 2: what this way works for me, Let's keep it like
- 21:51Speaker 2: it is.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Well cooking hole, I usually smoke. It's a It's a
- 21:55Speaker 5: slow and low process that allows it to you know,
- 21:58Speaker 5: not get too dry out. And I like to brin
- 22:01Speaker 5: the gator, to put it down on an ice chet
- 22:04Speaker 5: and soak it in a Brian over twenty four hours.
- 22:06Speaker 5: That helps prevent it from drying out because gators by
- 22:11Speaker 5: and large are pretty active creatures. And the fact that
- 22:13Speaker 5: they're they're lean, you know, like that it has a
- 22:15Speaker 5: pretty lean muscle tissue. And so if you when I
- 22:20Speaker 5: smoke it, I'll take and basee what I what I
- 22:24Speaker 5: love to use is like a mixture of chopped garlic
- 22:27Speaker 5: olive oil and these calabria and chilies that are soaked
- 22:31Speaker 5: in the oil. So the oil takes on the flavor
- 22:33Speaker 5: of the garlic and the chilies, and I'll take that
- 22:35Speaker 5: split it over the gator, and it'll take on kind
- 22:38Speaker 5: of a gold red color while you're smoking it, and
- 22:41Speaker 5: actually turns a little bit brown too, so it almost
- 22:44Speaker 5: takes on like a natural color of the gator. But
- 22:46Speaker 5: it also the oil prevents moisture from from escaping it,
- 22:51Speaker 5: and it kind of locks in the moisture inside of
- 22:56Speaker 5: it so that it doesn't dry out. It's kind of
- 22:58Speaker 5: like cooking a turkey. You know, you base the turkey
- 23:00Speaker 5: and you don't want you don't want it to dry out,
- 23:02Speaker 5: so you can say you're basing it with oil so
- 23:04Speaker 5: that the moisture doesn't steam and escape. It's the same principal,
- 23:07Speaker 5: same process. And then you know, like I said, if
- 23:11Speaker 5: we don't win and we don't feel like having the
- 23:13Speaker 5: whole gator is the appropriate delivery, then we'll put you know,
- 23:16Speaker 5: probably cook it and picks and eat and put it
- 23:19Speaker 5: into like a sausty com or uh, you know, like
- 23:22Speaker 5: saute it down and brown it and then and then
- 23:24Speaker 5: braise it. I love fried gator, you know, like I
- 23:30Speaker 5: am an absolute idiot for fried cater you know what
- 23:33Speaker 5: I mean. But I think that's I think that's primarily
- 23:36Speaker 5: tailed me. You know, the the leg muscle tissues are
- 23:40Speaker 5: really good for braising, so you know, just like any
- 23:43Speaker 5: other creature, there's gonna be tougher parts, so it's gonna
- 23:45Speaker 5: make more tender parts. I've never actually, you know, put
- 23:48Speaker 5: a like a steak off of the gator's leg onto
- 23:51Speaker 5: the grill and eat it that way, but because it's
- 23:53Speaker 5: so tender, I would definitely would try it. Now that
- 23:56Speaker 5: I'm talking about it, I'm kind of curious about it. Uh.
- 24:01Speaker 5: In philosophy, you know, you can take the different cuts
- 24:04Speaker 5: with different textures, and and the more tender it is,
- 24:07Speaker 5: the more high heat it will tolerate, and the tough
- 24:10Speaker 5: is the longer lower the temperature needs to be.
- 24:14Speaker 4: We're geting a lot of questions here in our chat,
- 24:16Speaker 4: and I can tell there's some eager tailgaters that might
- 24:19Speaker 4: be cooking some gator this week and so here so
- 24:21Speaker 4: hashtag munchies. Is there a specific brine you would recommend
- 24:26Speaker 4: for a gator or is it just kind of like
- 24:28Speaker 4: a don't overthinking situation.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean it could be either one of those things,
- 24:32Speaker 5: you know, like I with gators because it tastes like chicken. Primarily,
- 24:37Speaker 5: I think a citrus for Brian throwing a little bit
- 24:39Speaker 5: of lemon's ass or lemon rind in there. Not the
- 24:41Speaker 5: juice necessarily, because the juice is a cilic and it will.
- 24:44Speaker 4: Actually cook the meat.
- 24:45Speaker 5: But putting a lemon and lemony flavor, or even a
- 24:48Speaker 5: citrus with like lemon lime, orange tatsuma that you know,
- 24:53Speaker 5: putting those peels in with your brine. But realistically it,
- 24:58Speaker 5: you know, is as salt sugar water mixture that is
- 25:02Speaker 5: meant to absorb into the muscle tissue to prevent it
- 25:04Speaker 5: from trying out and when it does, so you know,
- 25:08Speaker 5: the flavors that you put into it are going to
- 25:10Speaker 5: be imparted into it. So you know, you could probably
- 25:13Speaker 5: put some sage in there with with the lemon and
- 25:16Speaker 5: oranges and stuff, and it it tastes quite well. You know,
- 25:21Speaker 5: everybody kind of has their own opinion about what flavors
- 25:23Speaker 5: go well together. But I think you know, a citrus
- 25:27Speaker 5: of sage or or even marjoram, a little marjoram in there.
- 25:31Speaker 5: I mean, you could probably make you know, like go
- 25:33Speaker 5: an Italian stalcator. I don't know why you would, but
- 25:36Speaker 5: you know, if you're kids, you're constructing it like a
- 25:39Speaker 5: chicken dish, you know, Italian Italian chicken dishes are wonderful,
- 25:43Speaker 5: So I think the flavor profile is personal preference. But
- 25:49Speaker 5: the but the the brine itself is going to be salt,
- 25:54Speaker 5: water and sugar, you know, like it's like a quart,
- 25:59Speaker 5: a quarter of water or a gallon. I'd rather a
- 26:01Speaker 5: gallon of water to two cups of sugar, two cups
- 26:03Speaker 5: of salt, one cup of sugar. So it's I don't
- 26:06Speaker 5: know if I got that clear enough. A gallon of water,
- 26:09Speaker 5: two cups of salt, one cup of sugar. And then
- 26:11Speaker 5: you're and then for every calen, you know, you put
- 26:13Speaker 5: your seizing in, you know, like you're flavoring in as well.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Chef last one before we let you go. After LSU
- 26:22Speaker 2: is victorious on Saturday and you serve Gator on Monday,
- 26:27Speaker 2: can two washed up former athletes who had a lot
- 26:30Speaker 2: of success against the Florida Gators come and enjoy some Gator?
- 26:34Speaker 5: You guys absolutely should.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Okay, asking for a friend, asking for a friend and
- 26:38Speaker 2: not saying it's us, but just asking for friends.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Well, I probably have a private invite for you. You know,
- 26:45Speaker 5: I think we're serving I think we're serving it for dinner.
- 26:47Speaker 5: But I think exactly athletes are are capable of coming
- 26:50Speaker 5: over and saying hello, all.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Right, all right, fair enough, fair enough, Chef, you're the man.
- 26:54Speaker 2: We appreciate it every single week. Look forward to seeing you.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I'm assuming you're going to the game this week.
- 26:59Speaker 5: You know I'm not. Actually I'm I'm off.
- 27:03Speaker 2: Brother, and I know, I know, I know, I know,
- 27:06Speaker 2: I know, but it was Florida and I didn't know.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Maybe if that changed the math, you.
- 27:09Speaker 5: Know, I actually I have. I've been offered tickets, and
- 27:12Speaker 5: I promised, I promised time with my kids. We're gonna
- 27:15Speaker 5: do all good.
- 27:17Speaker 4: Think you might have the gate the Gator hunting bug.
- 27:19Speaker 4: He might be out there on the boat.
- 27:20Speaker 2: I know absolutely.
- 27:22Speaker 5: I will definitely be watching the game.
- 27:25Speaker 2: But yeah, all right, chef, We'll see you Monday for
- 27:27Speaker 2: some victory Gator. I appreciate you, Chef. Michael Johnson good
- 27:32Speaker 2: enough to join us every single week here on O TB.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Man love that guy. Saw some some still clips still
- 27:40Speaker 2: photo sorry, and some clips of him out there.
- 27:44Speaker 4: That's awesome. And I've never done been I've been in
- 27:47Speaker 4: Louisiana a long time. Have you done it before?
- 27:50Speaker 2: Yes, but not to that extent. You know what I'm saying, Like,
- 27:53Speaker 2: not going off and getting in the boat and making
- 27:55Speaker 2: sure they brought it. Didn't do it the smartest way.
- 27:58Speaker 4: I'll just you know, just jump on the back say.
- 28:01Speaker 2: That like you know what so like when Steltz in
- 28:05Speaker 2: the crew, like had the baby gator in the bats
- 28:07Speaker 2: ub at West Campus, right, not the smartest way. No't worry,
- 28:11Speaker 2: Jay has it's got duct tape on it, baby, No, sorry,
- 28:15Speaker 2: electrical tape. It was an electrical tape.
- 28:17Speaker 4: We're gonna put him in the thro with our with
- 28:20Speaker 4: our king kobra.
- 28:22Speaker 2: He did. He also had a snake. He also had
- 28:24Speaker 2: that inside of the dorm room. All right too, what
- 28:29Speaker 2: a war daddy. All right, we'll take a break more
- 28:32Speaker 2: ot b uh, I believe we got to get to
- 28:34Speaker 2: some NFL bachelor. Okay, when we come back with the
- 28:39Speaker 2: birthday boy, Taylor Sharp and we'll have that for you
- 28:42Speaker 2: when we jump back on, Oh, t b.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Off the bench.
- 28:47Speaker 2: All right. Since nineteen thirty, right since the nineteen there
- 28:51Speaker 2: is a long time ago, Supreme Rice has been changing
- 28:54Speaker 2: the way you take in your jumble eye at CUFE.
- 28:57Speaker 2: Your stew's, your red beans and your gumbo. So whether
- 28:59Speaker 2: it's the brown rice, medium grain, the very popular jasmine rice,
- 29:05Speaker 2: that popular might go to. Supreme Rice is going to
- 29:08Speaker 2: make your favorite dishes even better, man. And look, they
- 29:12Speaker 2: are local, as local as local can be. I mean
- 29:15Speaker 2: not only in Southwest Louisiana, but this entire area.
- 29:18Speaker 4: I mean it has.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Grown, milled, it is processed right here in Southwest Louisiana.
- 29:24Speaker 2: You're supporting Louisiana farmers. I told you, man, we went
- 29:27Speaker 2: to a baseball tournament in Crowley, and it was so cool,
- 29:29Speaker 2: like Supreme Rice was everywhere right and they were the
- 29:32Speaker 2: backdrop of the baseball field. It just felt like just Americana, right,
- 29:36Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying. Like it was Supreme Rice.
- 29:38Speaker 2: And they mean so much to the town. They mean
- 29:40Speaker 2: so much to the area because they've been in this
- 29:42Speaker 2: area since the nineteen thirty. So you pick up your
- 29:45Speaker 2: bag of Supreme Rice today. That's at your Rouse, Is,
- 29:48Speaker 2: your Walmart, your Kroger, all your ag food stores.
- 29:50Speaker 6: Supreme Rice dot Com.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Locked in on LSU football twenty four to seven. You're
- 30:23Speaker 1: listening to Off the Bench one.
- 30:27Speaker 2: All right, welcome back in It is OTB. We are
- 30:29Speaker 2: here live on location at Pro Dreams thirty nine thirty
- 30:32Speaker 2: Burbank Drive in Benteriespro Dash Dreams dot Com is the website.
- 30:37Speaker 2: I'm gonna throw it back to studio because it is
- 30:39Speaker 2: now time to play a little INFL Bachelor as Taylor
- 30:42Speaker 2: Sharp is trying to pick his new team because he
- 30:45Speaker 2: finally got tired of Jerry Jones and his antics and
- 30:48Speaker 2: the Cowboys sucking. So here is Taylor Sharp on his birthday,
- 30:51Speaker 2: Happy birthday, Tata picking his new NFL team, or at
- 30:55Speaker 2: least getting down to the final two.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Yes, we have four teams right now.
- 30:59Speaker 7: Lot When I started this process, it was it wasn't
- 31:03Speaker 7: an easy decision. I had been with the Dallas Cowboys
- 31:06Speaker 7: my entire life, but finally decided enough was enough, went
- 31:09Speaker 7: on a few dates and with some other teams, kind
- 31:11Speaker 7: of got some feelers out at the opening weekend, and
- 31:14Speaker 7: I'm down to four now. It's the New Orleans Saints,
- 31:16Speaker 7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tennessee Titans, and Buffalo Bills. Unfortunately, I
- 31:21Speaker 7: do have to eliminate two of these teams today.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I love this guy.
- 31:26Speaker 7: I think he's probably the best football player in the NFL.
- 31:29Speaker 7: But I am going to have to eliminate the Buffalo Bills.
- 31:33Speaker 3: I'm not a North guy.
- 31:34Speaker 7: I mean, I don't really like Snow, and the Buffalo
- 31:37Speaker 7: Bills seemed to play in the snow pretty much more
- 31:39Speaker 7: than any other team in the NFL, so for.
- 31:41Speaker 3: That reason they're out.
- 31:42Speaker 7: It also felt a little bit too bandwagon for me,
- 31:44Speaker 7: almost almost a little recency bias. Love Josh Allen, always
- 31:48Speaker 7: be a fan of him. Love Bill's mafia. I think
- 31:50Speaker 7: it's the best fan base in the NFL. Don't know
- 31:53Speaker 7: if I'm ready for that, because I want to go
- 31:55Speaker 7: to a place where I can realistically go see a game.
- 31:58Speaker 7: Buffalo kind of just not in the cards. So the
- 32:00Speaker 7: Buffalo Bills are eliminated. Okay, So now we're down to
- 32:04Speaker 7: three Saints, Titans, Bucks.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Look, this is this next team. I always had a.
- 32:10Speaker 7: Little fleeing with them. We flirted back and forth for
- 32:13Speaker 7: a number of years. There is nothing I love more
- 32:18Speaker 7: or nothing that I'm more proud of than being from
- 32:21Speaker 7: the state of Louisiana. I love Louisiana. I think, if
- 32:23Speaker 7: you ask me, pat Ruge is the greatest place to live.
- 32:26Speaker 7: I know a lot of people craft on it. I've
- 32:27Speaker 7: lived here my entire life.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I love it.
- 32:30Speaker 7: However, if I was to pick the New Orleans Saints,
- 32:33Speaker 7: I would just be picking the Dallas Cowboys. They are
- 32:36Speaker 7: the same team, their front offices ran the exact same
- 32:39Speaker 7: They're both in bad shape and there's no clear path
- 32:41Speaker 7: to winning in the future.
- 32:42Speaker 3: I just don't see it happening.
- 32:44Speaker 7: This was the hardest pick because it is our home team,
- 32:47Speaker 7: but the New Orleans Saints have also been eliminated. So
- 32:50Speaker 7: the final two we will be deciding with tomorrow the
- 32:54Speaker 7: Tennessee Titans, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- 32:58Speaker 2: The Tennesseeans, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Just like I
- 33:03Speaker 2: knew it would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Baker Mayfield.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Tayte can't help himself, and then Tennessee Nashville, the home
- 33:14Speaker 2: of country music.
- 33:16Speaker 4: That's my prediction.
- 33:18Speaker 2: You don't understand how much this man loves Baker Mayfield, but.
- 33:23Speaker 4: If he's basing it just alf of that it's a
- 33:26Speaker 4: short term.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Well, I mean to be fair to Tayte and Tampa Bay.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Mike Alstott played his entire career there, sure, so you
- 33:34Speaker 2: can always fall back on that.
- 33:35Speaker 4: Yeah, but he did. He waxed poetically about how much
- 33:39Speaker 4: he loves Louisiana, which is very heartfelt, and I get that,
- 33:43Speaker 4: but he does love it so I don't know if
- 33:46Speaker 4: he's going to want to consciously choose a team out
- 33:50Speaker 4: of thin air just because of quarterback and actively root
- 33:54Speaker 4: against other Louisiana's in the same division. I don't know
- 33:59Speaker 4: if he can do that, could choose somebody that twice
- 34:02Speaker 4: a year, he's got to actively cheer against his neighbors.
- 34:07Speaker 4: So I don't know, but I think Tennessee is the
- 34:09Speaker 4: one here.
- 34:09Speaker 2: You're going, Yeah, he cheered for the Cowboys. Saints fans
- 34:13Speaker 2: hate the Cowboys.
- 34:15Speaker 4: That's true, but they didn't always play them every year.
- 34:18Speaker 4: The Bucks are playing him twice a year, maybe one,
- 34:20Speaker 4: I mean, maybe once. Maybe he wants to smoke, but
- 34:23Speaker 4: it look, well we already know he's not the smartest
- 34:24Speaker 4: guy in the world.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Look, it could be worse. I mean I can remember,
- 34:31Speaker 2: you know, playing against them and being a little starstruck.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Is like Dan deren Brooks is out there, like that's
- 34:36Speaker 2: kind of cool. Like Rande Barber's out there. That guy's
- 34:39Speaker 2: a Hall of Famer. Both those guys are Hall of famers,
- 34:41Speaker 2: you know. Because so it could be worse. Could be
- 34:43Speaker 2: the Falcons could be the Cowboys again.
- 34:45Speaker 4: So he wants to be able to realistically go to
- 34:47Speaker 4: games so I guess like New Orleans Airport, one of
- 34:50Speaker 4: those who can southwest to It's been an hour and
- 34:52Speaker 4: fifteen hour and a half flights southwest to Nashville. Yeah, Tampa,
- 34:57Speaker 4: same thing, that's not bad, The same thing, not bad. Okay, realistic,
- 34:59Speaker 4: you can get to either one. Buffalo, you right, be
- 35:01Speaker 4: a little tougher. I thought Buffalo had a shot out
- 35:05Speaker 4: of them.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Honestly, Moonfish, you're onto something, he says. Tay Tampa Bay Tay.
- 35:09Speaker 2: I say Tampa Bay Tay would just be easier, or
- 35:12Speaker 2: just Tampa Tay, Tampa Bay Tay, Tampa Tay. Tampa Tay
- 35:16Speaker 2: is good too, like Tampa Bay Tay. But Tampa Tay.
- 35:19Speaker 2: That either one. It's acceptable here. The nickname possibilities. It
- 35:28Speaker 2: was always going to.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Be the books. It's always calling me out for messing
- 35:33Speaker 4: with the cables down here. I can I can't hear that.
- 35:35Speaker 4: Can you just see it?
- 35:37Speaker 2: Y'all know this about him. He can't help himself.
- 35:40Speaker 4: It's fidgety, like I made a little little as.
- 35:44Speaker 2: He doesn't have a desk to slap.
- 35:52Speaker 4: I do enjoy sitting on the couches, though I'll say
- 35:54Speaker 4: that I do too. It's kind of relaxing.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, they're nice.

- 40:09Speaker 2: All right, that is now time to get to your questions.
- 40:13Speaker 2: Hashtag ask the bench do you think tom Brady and
- 40:16Speaker 2: Tata had the same way to get to Tampa Bay?
- 40:22Speaker 2: Same process Tampa Bay and tom Brady to Tampa Bay.
- 40:28Speaker 4: I feel like tom Brady's was a lot more well
- 40:33Speaker 4: thought out and constructed and executed, for sure.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Hashtag asked the bench. If one of y'all sons got
- 40:42Speaker 2: an offer from the Gators, would you let him go
- 40:44Speaker 2: on a visit? No?
- 40:47Speaker 4: Hell no?
- 40:47Speaker 2: I mean seriously, like no. I've told like no, and
- 40:51Speaker 2: I've told him no. There's places in the and we
- 40:56Speaker 2: raise our children, right, No, I wouldn't want to go.
- 40:59Speaker 2: This isn't like a joke either. There's places in the
- 41:01Speaker 2: SEC they can go to. Like if my son want
- 41:03Speaker 2: to play for Shane at South Carolina, if you want
- 41:06Speaker 2: to play for Eli at Missou Hell, if he even
- 41:10Speaker 2: want to play for sarcut Texas and LS you didn't
- 41:13Speaker 2: offer him, right, that's a caveat here. Like else you
- 41:16Speaker 2: didn't offer and probably get those offers. You probably get
- 41:18Speaker 2: the shoes. But if they didn't, he ain't go play
- 41:19Speaker 2: for those guys. He ain't going to play for the
- 41:23Speaker 2: Gators in Gainesville, Florida, and ain't gonna happen because if
- 41:28Speaker 2: you get an offer from Florida, you got one that's
- 41:30Speaker 2: adjacent to it, and you're picking that one.
- 41:32Speaker 4: Yep.
- 41:33Speaker 2: I'm not singing Tom Petty unless I want to sing
- 41:35Speaker 2: Tom Petty. I ain't wearing orange and blue, all right.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I'm not wearing macromade jean shorts. I ain't doing that.
- 41:43Speaker 2: Ain't having I want to give.
- 41:44Speaker 4: A real thought out answer here, and I want to
- 41:47Speaker 4: just follow up question to you. What if LSU didn't
- 41:53Speaker 4: offer him and he was signing to make life changing
- 41:56Speaker 4: money and Florida's the only one two offer that.
- 42:00Speaker 2: Nope?
- 42:01Speaker 4: Okay, no, I heard it here first people. No, we
- 42:05Speaker 4: don't care what our children want. No, it ain't happening.
- 42:08Speaker 4: We raise them, right, we raise them to hate Florida.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Hashtag asked the bench, why does Taylor suck so much? Flynn?
- 42:14Speaker 4: You got that one, so I need to explain it,
- 42:19Speaker 4: just because because he's just he can't read a rim.
- 42:23Speaker 4: You know, he makes bad decisions, poor decisions, and you
- 42:26Speaker 4: had multiple opportunities to at least, you know, do the
- 42:30Speaker 4: right thing and make it interesting and keep it competitive.
- 42:34Speaker 4: We didn't say you need to pick our teams because
- 42:36Speaker 4: of our teams, you know, but we can't support someone
- 42:39Speaker 4: who makes bad decisions over and over and over. At
- 42:42Speaker 4: some point, you just got to set them free. And
- 42:44Speaker 4: I don't know what set them free means, just ridicule them.
- 42:49Speaker 4: So we're there. It's happy birthday, though I hope it's
- 42:52Speaker 4: a great one. We are you?
- 42:56Speaker 2: Silent hashtag asked the bench, Well, I do it to you?
- 43:02Speaker 2: Which game outside of LSU Florida are you going to
- 43:05Speaker 2: be talking about the most on Monday show. I'm assuming
- 43:09Speaker 2: college and say I think it is going to be.
- 43:16Speaker 2: I think Clemson and Georgia Tech.
- 43:17Speaker 4: Yeah, because we do like Haynes King a lot.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Clemson and Georgia Tech. I think that one's going to
- 43:22Speaker 2: be the first one. And I think Tennessee and Georgia
- 43:26Speaker 2: because if Tennessee upsets Georgia, that's certainly newsworthy. And if
- 43:31Speaker 2: Georgia houses Tennessee, right, I think that's newsworthy as well,
- 43:35Speaker 2: because Georgia's kind of have been slow out of the
- 43:37Speaker 2: gate and they haven't you know, really dominated other They've
- 43:40Speaker 2: won against Marshall and Austin p but they hadn't really dominated.
- 43:43Speaker 2: And so if they go there and they dominate Tennessee,
- 43:45Speaker 2: I think that's storyline. Those are two you mentioned A
- 43:48Speaker 2: and m notre Dame match.
- 43:51Speaker 4: That might actually be Vanderbilt, that actually might be South Carolina.
- 43:55Speaker 4: That's going to be a great game South Carolina. We
- 43:58Speaker 4: are obviously a very high on here at off the bench,
- 44:03Speaker 4: so we'll see how that goes. Vanderbilt coming off a
- 44:05Speaker 4: great win, so to dynamic quarterbacks, both guys that can
- 44:11Speaker 4: take over a game. So I'm excited to see the
- 44:14Speaker 4: replays of that one because I'll be in Death Valley
- 44:16Speaker 4: cheering on the Tigers. Not worried about that game, but
- 44:18Speaker 4: I'll watch it the next day. Maybe maybe not.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Hashtag asked the bench, is there anyone on Florida staff
- 44:23Speaker 2: who played in seven that's still sour about y'all cooking them?
- 44:29Speaker 2: I don't know the staff that well, probably not, maybe
- 44:32Speaker 2: like somebody like deep within equipment or trainer or something.
- 44:36Speaker 2: Take case, he's a sideline reporter. He played tight end
- 44:39Speaker 2: for the Cators. They good guy, though, from Longview, Texas.
- 44:42Speaker 2: Shout out to the Lobos. But I don't. I don't
- 44:44Speaker 2: know that there's anybody on the staff. I'd have to
- 44:46Speaker 2: look it up and see. Now, they got a lot
- 44:48Speaker 2: of blue polos in their coaching picture. They got it.
- 44:51Speaker 2: They had a gosh a Coordinator of game Changing Moments.
- 44:55Speaker 2: That's an official title that was on their staff. So
- 44:59Speaker 2: maybe saw Maybe just because they got so many coaches.
- 45:02Speaker 4: He's the assistant coordinator of game changing Moments.
- 45:04Speaker 2: I don't know, but I think the coordinator of game
- 45:07Speaker 2: changing moments got let go.
- 45:09Speaker 4: Seriously, I don't dance. I think you got let go.
- 45:12Speaker 4: It's his fault if you want to Flynn feeling.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Flynn is filling tea Bob's little shoes with the Taylor
- 45:21Speaker 2: hate them cankles are going to muffin top and tease
- 45:23Speaker 2: little shoes.
- 45:27Speaker 4: A muffin top.
- 45:34Speaker 2: We can't beat that. We're not even gonna try.
- 45:36Speaker 4: We're canles.
- 45:39Speaker 2: We love yet. We'll see you tomorrow live from Rouses.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Enjoy the rest of your day off the bench, oh
