- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, Heidi Ho, welcome to a Tuesday, May 26th, and
- 0:05Speaker 1: we actually have a day with some sunshine in my
- 0:07Speaker 1: neck of the woods, and it isn't raining. How about that? Boy,
- 0:10Speaker 1: it has just been so saturated this spring. I don't
- 0:14Speaker 1: know where you might be listening to us, but we
- 0:17Speaker 1: have just had one wet, wet, wet April and May.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Just raining just a ton in my neck of the woods,
- 0:24Speaker 1: and the ground is so saturated that it's kind of
- 0:26Speaker 1: nice to see today. The sun is shining. It's 81 degrees,
- 0:30Speaker 1: and it's not raining. So hopefully, it looks like we're
- 0:32Speaker 1: going to have maybe a shower here and there, but
- 0:35Speaker 1: it should be for the most part. A drier week,
- 0:39Speaker 1: to say the least, and things can start to dry out,
- 0:42Speaker 1: which it's about time, right? We're going to be June
- 0:44Speaker 1: 1st coming up here in, what's, four, five days before
- 0:50Speaker 1: we get to the first of the month, before we
- 0:51Speaker 1: go from May to June.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:54Speaker 1: So anyway, it is what it is. Welcome one and all.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I believe we'll be with you tonight till around 530
- 1:01Speaker 1: because the Guardians are on. Boy, did the Cavaliers get
- 1:04Speaker 1: just slammed last night. Oh, my God. It was just
- 1:09Speaker 1: painful to watch. I mean, it was absolutely painful to
- 1:13Speaker 1: watch it all happen. Yeah, we'll be with you until
- 1:15Speaker 1: 5.30 tonight. Then the Guardians take to the airwaves. with
- 1:18Speaker 1: the pregame show and first pitch around 6 o'clock. As always,
- 1:22Speaker 1: my top secret number for you is 330-729-9977.
- 1:23Speaker 3: 330-729-9977.
- 1:23Speaker 1: Feels like a Monday, but it's a Tuesday.
- 1:25Speaker 3: 330-729-9977.
- 1:25Speaker 2: 330-729-9977.
- 1:25Speaker 1: From NewsRadio 570, WKVN. What is on your minds here
- 1:28Speaker 1: as we start today? Hello, you're on the air. Good afternoon, Mr.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Verbe.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Yes, sir. May I help you? You're on the air.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:51Speaker 4: How are you today?
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm well. It's J.J. the Liberal.
- 1:55Speaker 4: How was your holiday?
- 1:57Speaker 1: It was fine. I always enjoy those three-day weekends. I mean,
- 2:00Speaker 1: you've got to love Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. You've just
- 2:02Speaker 1: got to love it.
- 2:04Speaker 4: Yeah, it kind of takes you off your game, but.
- 2:06Speaker 1: It's still a nice day. It's so relaxing, though. I mean,
- 2:10Speaker 1: it's just, even though we had a lot of rain,
- 2:13Speaker 1: what was it, Saturday?
- 2:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Or saturday or sunday or whatever but we had a
- 2:19Speaker 1: lot of rain but sometimes uh overcast rainy days i
- 2:23Speaker 1: just sit there in the front porch and i take
- 2:25Speaker 1: it all in my friends.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Taking it my dad loved it to do that to
- 2:28Speaker 4: sit back and he said those are the nice days
- 2:30Speaker 4: to sit back and take naps you know.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I've just just taken in nature taking in mother nature And.
- 2:37Speaker 4: I just want to thank all the service members out there.
- 2:40Speaker 4: I want to give you a belated thank you for
- 2:42Speaker 4: your service in providing us all the ability to do
- 2:45Speaker 4: what we're doing right now and the freedoms that we
- 2:48Speaker 4: unfortunately sometimes take for granted. So if anybody's out there,
- 2:50Speaker 4: thank you very much for the opportunity. your service and
- 2:55Speaker 4: your sacrifice, your ultimate sacrifice. So, anyway, I wanted to
- 2:59Speaker 4: touch base on a couple things. Obviously, the big thing
- 3:03Speaker 4: about that shooter, and I wanted to talk to you
- 3:06Speaker 4: about that.
- 3:07Speaker 1: All right. So, which shooter?
- 3:10Speaker 4: The guy that was hit by the White House. All right.
- 3:16Speaker 1: What about him?
- 3:18Speaker 4: Well, the thing is, first of all, it wasn't an
- 3:20Speaker 4: assassination attempt. They kind of want to put it as
- 3:22Speaker 4: a I have some problems with it because the FBI
- 3:28Speaker 4: and the Washington police knew about this guy for a
- 3:31Speaker 4: long time, and he was just off. He was always,
- 3:34Speaker 4: every time he got arrested, for being too close to
- 3:37Speaker 4: the White House, he would always say, I'm Jesus, and
- 3:40Speaker 4: he was just not right. And every time he was arrested,
- 3:43Speaker 4: he never possessed a gun. And they claim that this
- 3:47Speaker 4: time he came out and he started to shoot, and
- 3:50Speaker 4: he was almost a quarter mile away from the White House.
- 3:53Speaker 4: And the thing is, if you listen to the tape
- 3:56Speaker 4: of the guns going off, whenever I've ever seen police
- 4:02Speaker 4: officers and gunmen get into a shootout, you always hear
- 4:07Speaker 4: a hesitation between the gunplay. You always hear bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,
- 4:12Speaker 4: you know, them moving about each other. Taking shots. <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>
- 4:21Speaker 4: That is not, that is, I mean, maybe you guys
- 4:25Speaker 4: are all thinking, rolling your eyes, but think about that.
- 4:27Speaker 4: That means you have, you're done on something that's stationary. Okay,
- 4:32Speaker 4: and I'm not going to go anywhere more than that.
- 4:34Speaker 4: You can take it what you think I'm meaning by this. Anyway,
- 4:41Speaker 4: the other thing is that the last two days that
- 4:44Speaker 4: Trump has been talking about his ballroom, I personally believe
- 4:49Speaker 4: it's a bunker. Because he said yesterday that there's a
- 4:53Speaker 4: drone capacity, that it's six floors down, that it has
- 4:58Speaker 4: meeting rooms, and that's all this. So the idea of
- 5:01Speaker 4: it being, quote-unquote, a ballroom where you think that it's
- 5:04Speaker 4: going to be like 1700s France where him and Melania
- 5:08Speaker 4: are going to be dancing around with everybody is not
- 5:10Speaker 4: what it is. It is a bunker, Ron.
- 5:13Speaker 1: OK, I would imagine when you think there's a bunker
- 5:17Speaker 1: already under the White House. I mean, what I'm saying,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I agree.
- 5:20Speaker 4: I agree with you. I knew you were going to
- 5:22Speaker 4: say that. And I there is one. But why would
- 5:24Speaker 4: there be this? Why would you need a ballroom that
- 5:27Speaker 4: goes six floors down?
- 5:29Speaker 1: I don't know. It could be for whatever you mentioned.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I really don't know. They haven't shared the plans with me.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I doubt if they're going to let you know if
- 5:38Speaker 1: there's a bunker under there.
- 5:41Speaker 4: These things have been on my mind. And the other
- 5:43Speaker 4: thing is, I want to let you know that I'm
- 5:48Speaker 4: sorry that there are people that uh... have been supportive
- 5:54Speaker 4: of you uh... and then now our are uh..
- 5:58Speaker 1: It's going to.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Go rock catch it and all you're doing is you're
- 6:01Speaker 4: saying that you said many times i support trump i
- 6:04Speaker 4: would vote for trump again that i i wanted policies
- 6:07Speaker 4: by getting the people of the country and that you
- 6:10Speaker 4: want uh... the the economy to be better that you
- 6:14Speaker 4: are being honest and since you you are challenging justine
- 6:19Speaker 4: the acting in the people of the war <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL>
- 6:40Speaker 4: Because I don't know if you can understand what I'm saying,
- 6:43Speaker 4: but people, they just attack you from above the news.
- 6:47Speaker 4: And Jeffrey, the other day, was talking about in your face.
- 6:50Speaker 4: And again, these are people that are upset also. But
- 6:54Speaker 4: I just... I understand that it has bothered me that
- 6:59Speaker 4: people are attacking you when all you're doing is asking questions,
- 7:03Speaker 4: and that is what a person's supposed to do.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm not going to be one of those guys that
- 7:10Speaker 1: says anything that Trump does, I agree with 100%, because
- 7:14Speaker 1: that means you're checking your brain at the door. So
- 7:17Speaker 1: we shall see. I mean, I'm... I'm still concerned. I mean,
- 7:20Speaker 1: this is dragging on. They were once again talking about
- 7:24Speaker 1: how it sounded like everything was done except dotting the
- 7:27Speaker 1: I's and crossing the T's on this latest agreement. And
- 7:31Speaker 1: now it appears that, well, there isn't any agreement, or
- 7:35Speaker 1: if there is at all, it's fallen apart. Who knows
- 7:39Speaker 1: where this is happening?
- 7:41Speaker 4: I don't think this is a war at all. It
- 7:43Speaker 4: has no characteristics of a war. I believe this is
- 7:47Speaker 4: all a power grab for money from all the countries.
- 7:51Speaker 4: I really think about it. Any war that we've ever
- 7:53Speaker 4: experienced or seen, this is not the description or the
- 7:57Speaker 4: characteristics of what you would call a war. I mean,
- 8:01Speaker 4: every now and then there'll be some strikes, but it isn't.
- 8:05Speaker 4: It doesn't feel right, Ron. And I'm going to let
- 8:07Speaker 4: you leave it off with that because other people want
- 8:09Speaker 4: to call. But I just wanted to throw those couple
- 8:11Speaker 4: things out there and just listen to that gun play again.
- 8:14Speaker 4: And you let me know next time I talk to
- 8:15Speaker 4: you what you think.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Okay, buddy?
- 8:17Speaker 1: Thank you. It's J.J. the Liberal starting things off on
- 8:19Speaker 1: this Tuesday. News Radio 570, WDQ. You're on the air.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Hello, Ron.
- 8:25Speaker 1: That's Fort Lauderdale, Frank.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Ron, I want to talk to you out the air.
- 8:32Speaker 5: I'll stay on hold until you get a station break.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Yes.
- 8:35Speaker 5: But I think you'll be interested in what I have
- 8:39Speaker 5: to tell you.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I probably would be. Now I'm intrigued. You're not going
- 8:42Speaker 1: to tell me that you want to break up or
- 8:45Speaker 1: anything like that, do you? I mean, it's not going
- 8:47Speaker 1: to be bad news.
- 8:49Speaker 5: No, it's actually a serious matter.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Oh, okay. Well, I look forward to talking to you
- 8:57Speaker 1: about that. Let me see. S & P' s up today.
- 9:00Speaker 1: NASDAQ's up today. And the Russell's up today. The Dow
- 9:05Speaker 1: is down. So let's see. S & P 500, NASDAQ
- 9:10Speaker 1: capitulated to new highs by Micron and Tech. as traders
- 9:15Speaker 1: monitor shaky Iran. Yeah, they were just saying the other day,
- 9:18Speaker 1: they gave you the impression that another deal was really close,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and then that's kind of evaporated, isn't it?
- 9:24Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, exactly. And in fact, I can't mention the stock,
- 9:32Speaker 5: but one of the MAG-7s that I am holding for
- 9:38Speaker 5: my girlfriend and friends, it went up... A huge amount today.
- 9:46Speaker 1: See, there you go. You've got to keep those young
- 9:48Speaker 1: women happy.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:50Speaker 1: I mean, it's not easy, the pressure that you're under
- 9:53Speaker 1: with these young chicks and that kind of stuff. I'm
- 9:56Speaker 1: just saying, let's see, this thing, every time I hear it.
- 10:00Speaker 1: some type of agreement is close, and you were hearing
- 10:02Speaker 1: it just, what, over the weekends or prior to the weekend,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and now it's like, okay, that's not happening. Where did
- 10:08Speaker 1: I see today where they said..
- 10:11Speaker 3: He's bombing again.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yeah, where Trump summons full cabinets to Camp David as
- 10:17Speaker 1: Iran's ceasefire begins to fray. So every time they keep
- 10:21Speaker 1: talking about these ceasefires, they don't seem like they accomplish much.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Or any agreement.
- 10:27Speaker 5: Remember when he said that him and Iran were close
- 10:30Speaker 5: to an agreement?
- 10:31Speaker 1: Yes, yes. I guess they weren't.
- 10:34Speaker 5: And then what happened?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Apparently they're not.
- 10:37Speaker 5: He wants them to let their guard down, and he
- 10:40Speaker 5: turns around and bombs them again.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I don't know. We should just see what goes on here.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. You follow this. Here's what
- 10:49Speaker 1: I read, and tell me if this is true or
- 10:51Speaker 1: false when it comes to the price of oil. Right now,
- 10:55Speaker 1: I'm led to believe, and just tell me if I'm
- 10:59Speaker 1: on track or not, I'm led to believe that we
- 11:01Speaker 1: are depleting a lot of strategic oil reserves, including here
- 11:04Speaker 1: in the United States of America, but other countries as
- 11:06Speaker 1: well are depleting their strategic oil reserves to try to
- 11:10Speaker 1: keep oil prices... from skyrocketing even higher. So strategic oil
- 11:15Speaker 1: reserves and oil supplies are being drained to keep prices
- 11:20Speaker 1: where they are right now. As a matter of fact,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I've even been reading where people might see a difficulty
- 11:28Speaker 1: in buying oil at the auto parts store or Walmart
- 11:31Speaker 1: or something like that, where you go to buy a
- 11:34Speaker 1: gallon of oil for your car and this kind of
- 11:36Speaker 1: stuff that's The supply is getting more difficult, I guess
- 11:39Speaker 1: is what you'd say. It's becoming tighter because they're going
- 11:44Speaker 1: through all the reserves. Have you seen that or read that?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Oh, sure.
- 11:48Speaker 5: In fact, the headline news on MarketWatch today was that
- 11:53Speaker 5: China had more strategic reserves in oil than previously thought,
- 11:58Speaker 5: and that's the only thing keeping the price down. But
- 12:02Speaker 5: even though West Texas Intermediate was down today... global oil
- 12:07Speaker 5: prices measured by Brent crude were up.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yeah, so let me ask you this. I'll do a
- 12:13Speaker 1: little brain picking here.
- 12:16Speaker 5: Let me interrupt one second. California is saying they will
- 12:20Speaker 5: run out of gas in six weeks, and after that
- 12:24Speaker 5: we will see huge prices increases, and gas prices currently
- 12:29Speaker 5: exceed $ 6 a gallon on average, but a California official
- 12:34Speaker 5: said said so many Californians will be unable to afford
- 12:39Speaker 5: gas that prices will actually stabilize at $ 6. 50 a gallon
- 12:46Speaker 5: because people won't be able to.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Afford to drive.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Well, what choice do you have? I mean, to a
- 12:52Speaker 1: large extent, the gas prices in California are ridiculous to
- 12:54Speaker 1: begin with. But, I mean, you can certainly cut back
- 12:57Speaker 1: on some driving, but you've got to drive to work
- 12:59Speaker 1: and home, and you've got to drive to go get groceries.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I mean, you could cut down... You're driving if you
- 13:05Speaker 1: just drive for the necessity or combined trips. I get that.
- 13:09Speaker 1: But you're not going to be able to stop driving.
- 13:11Speaker 1: I guess you could carpool with a neighbor or something
- 13:13Speaker 1: like that. But gas prices have always been high in California.
- 13:17Speaker 1: So help me out here. They say that the oil,
- 13:21Speaker 1: and you might read this, the oil that we do
- 13:24Speaker 1: here in our country is the wrong, it's not the
- 13:28Speaker 1: right grade, if you will, for our refineries. Is that accurate,
- 13:34Speaker 1: that we need the oil from other countries to refine?
- 13:38Speaker 1: Does that make sense to you?
- 13:41Speaker 5: Well, our refineries are built to refine. I believe it's
- 13:48Speaker 5: heavy crude, yeah, not light sour or sweet crude like
- 13:52Speaker 5: you get from the Persian Gulf.
- 13:55Speaker 3: So, yes, we.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Import oil from other countries. not only for domestic consumption,
- 14:04Speaker 5: but after we've refined some of that oil we import,
- 14:08Speaker 5: we turn around and export to the countries.
- 14:11Speaker 3: That need it.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Right, like our oil is heavier or something, and it
- 14:15Speaker 1: has to go to other refineries, apparently, to get... It's
- 14:21Speaker 1: just the grade of the oil, as I understand it.
- 14:24Speaker 1: So anyway, that's what I've been reading. I didn't know
- 14:26Speaker 1: if you follow that, where basically they're saying that there is...
- 14:30Speaker 1: an oil shortage right now because of the supplies being
- 14:34Speaker 1: depleted to keep prices down, and that that's a ticking
- 14:39Speaker 1: time bomb with oil prices potentially as they decline going
- 14:44Speaker 1: up and oil becoming more scarce. Have you read that,
- 14:48Speaker 1: or am I full of BS?
- 14:50Speaker 5: No, I've read that, but here's another problem even worse
- 14:55Speaker 5: than that. Here's another article from a financial publication. Quote,
- 15:01Speaker 5: Trump might wreck your car engine in order to scarf
- 15:05Speaker 5: up votes from corn farmers. Speaking to farmers in Iowa,
- 15:10Speaker 5: he promised farmers that he would issue an executive order
- 15:13Speaker 5: requiring the selling of 15% ethanol gas year-round. This level
- 15:19Speaker 5: of alcohol ruins car engines and pollutes the air we breathe. And, Ron,
- 15:25Speaker 5: ethanol is made from corn, by the way.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Yeah, your car's got to be designed to be able
- 15:29Speaker 1: to take that. I mean, you'll see the sticker on
- 15:31Speaker 1: your car that says you can't put more than 10%
- 15:35Speaker 1: ethanol and gas in it. I mean, it's got to
- 15:38Speaker 1: be designed for it. Not everyone can do it. You're right,
- 15:41Speaker 1: if you're dumb. It can definitely cause havoc when it
- 15:45Speaker 1: comes to your car. I mean, it's going to be interesting.
- 15:48Speaker 1: All these peace agreements just seem to blow up. They
- 15:50Speaker 1: never seem to materialize. And we shall see what happens
- 15:54Speaker 1: with the dwindling oil supply and what the answer is
- 15:58Speaker 1: to get out of this mess. All right, hang in, Frank.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Let me get back to you momentarily. Call us in line.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Stand by. We're here till 530. Stay tuned. 570 WKBN.
- 16:10Speaker 1: All right, NewsRadio 570, WKBN and Ron Verb, Bit325. But
- 16:15Speaker 1: we shall see where things go. I'm led to believe
- 16:20Speaker 1: that if we can reach an agreement, the market will soar.
- 16:23Speaker 1: And so hopefully we'll reach an agreement. If not, it's
- 16:26Speaker 1: just going to be up and down constantly. It's going
- 16:30Speaker 1: to be volatility, right, Frank?
- 16:33Speaker 5: Well, yeah. In fact, that's what I was going to say,
- 16:35Speaker 5: because the market is mixed today because of So much uncertainty.
- 16:40Speaker 5: That's why we're seeing very volatile markets. But, you know,
- 16:44Speaker 5: I also want to mention about Trump and his family
- 16:49Speaker 5: making fortunes off of this.
- 16:54Speaker 2: War.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Now explain it to me. You're not the first. I
- 16:57Speaker 1: hear people saying this, that the Trump kids are keeping
- 17:00Speaker 1: a pretty low profile, that they're making a bunch of money.
- 17:03Speaker 1: How are they making all this money?
- 17:05Speaker 5: Well, for example, the New Yorker reported that Trump invested
- 17:09Speaker 5: in companies that are competing for federal government permits and funding,
- 17:14Speaker 5: has filed personal, multi-billion dollar lawsuits against banks regulated by
- 17:20Speaker 5: the Trump regime, then pressures the banks to settle out
- 17:25Speaker 5: of court to avoid paying more, and he leases his
- 17:29Speaker 5: name to resort hotels and golf courses, and claims there
- 17:33Speaker 5: is evidence that Trump sells pardons, according to The New Yorker,
- 17:38Speaker 5: and his net worth is now estimated to be between
- 17:41Speaker 5: $ 4 to $ 5 billion. But Rolling Stone reports an amazing
- 17:46Speaker 5: rise in the net worth of Trump's sons. They said
- 17:50Speaker 5: that historically a president and his appointees that possessed any
- 17:54Speaker 5: degree of wealth had to put their assets into a
- 17:57Speaker 5: blind trust. But Trump doesn't have a blind trust because
- 18:01Speaker 5: his Businesses are run by his sons. And Barron Trump
- 18:07Speaker 5: made $ 135 million in one day recently. And China's President
- 18:15Speaker 5: Xi Jinping told Trump that America is a declining power
- 18:20Speaker 5: because there is no longer any moral principle in our government.
- 18:27Speaker 1: I hope I make you wonder. All right, Fort Lauderdale.
- 18:31Speaker 5: But let me say real quick, I mean, I said
- 18:33Speaker 5: the same thing when that 26-man cabal was running the
- 18:37Speaker 5: Biden administration. They didn't care about running the government. All
- 18:42Speaker 5: they cared about was enriching themselves. We basically had no executive.
- 18:48Speaker 5: Nobody was running the government. They were just grifting and
- 18:52Speaker 5: making themselves rich.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Yep.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Thank you, buddy. Appreciate it. Have a good day. News
- 18:57Speaker 1: Radio 570 WKBN. And wait a second here. Let me
- 19:00Speaker 1: do this. And Ron Verb, you're on the air.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Hey there. Good afternoon.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yes, sir.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Now that we've got Blanche in here, or whatever his
- 19:10Speaker 3: name is, all of a sudden the Epstein files disappear.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Oh, you mean the new Attorney General?
- 19:18Speaker 3: Yeah, the new Attorney General, yes.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Stand by. Let me do my headlines. I'll come right
- 19:23Speaker 1: back to you. Long segment with this caller coming up.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I want to hear what he has to say. And
- 19:26Speaker 1: then callers in line, stand by. Welcome to a Tuesday afternoon.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Just going to talk about the new Attorney General and
- 19:33Speaker 1: what happened to the Epstein files. Should be interesting. Coming
- 19:36Speaker 1: up right after this. It's 82. News Radio 570. WKVN. WKVN. Well,
- 19:43Speaker 1: IDO 335 here on a Tuesday afternoon, May 26th. We're
- 19:45Speaker 1: at 82 degrees. Ron Verb from the Kingdom of Mahoning
- 19:48Speaker 1: with you until 530 tonight. Then the pregame as the
- 19:51Speaker 1: Guardians take to the airwaves again. All right, go ahead.
- 19:55Speaker 3: I don't understand. I mean, the Epstein fouls come through.
- 19:59Speaker 3: They're disappeared. Then on top of that, with this new
- 20:02Speaker 3: deal he's trying to make to pay off the people
- 20:04Speaker 3: he thought there was being hurt by the courts unjustifiably, Now,
- 20:09Speaker 3: they're going to get that money if our weak-kneed representatives
- 20:14Speaker 3: in Washington, D.C. allow it. So far, they've pretty much
- 20:18Speaker 3: kind of let him have his own move.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Well, now back up. As I tell people when I
- 20:24Speaker 1: talk about this settlement, remember what happened to Trump and
- 20:27Speaker 1: why there was a settlement. An employee at the IRS
- 20:30Speaker 1: leaked his personal tax returns. As I've said to people before,
- 20:33Speaker 1: it was Trump, Sean Hannity. I forget the other names
- 20:37Speaker 1: that were involved. And all what you'd consider conservatives, if
- 20:40Speaker 1: you will. Well, that's against the law. That is private.
- 20:44Speaker 1: And it irritates me. I don't care who it is.
- 20:47Speaker 1: That's your private business. And this guy stole that information,
- 20:51Speaker 1: gave it to the New York Times. And the New
- 20:53Speaker 1: York Times should have said, we're not going to publish
- 20:56Speaker 1: this because this is stolen. It's stolen material. But yet
- 21:00Speaker 1: the media, they all... went with it. They didn't care
- 21:05Speaker 1: that the guy stole it. They hated Trump so much
- 21:08Speaker 1: that they published it. And then the other outlets could
- 21:12Speaker 1: report on it by saying, well, as the New York
- 21:14Speaker 1: Times reported, it should have never been published. And it
- 21:18Speaker 1: should never been published in the first place. I believe
- 21:20Speaker 1: Trump has a lawsuit against everyone that published that private information,
- 21:25Speaker 1: as well as the IRS. It was the IRS employee
- 21:28Speaker 1: that leaked the information. So that's where the lawsuit stems from.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So he was done an injustice, Justice Hannity was done
- 21:36Speaker 1: an injustice by some vindictive person who didn't like conservatives
- 21:40Speaker 1: that worked for the IRS. This is not what the,
- 21:43Speaker 1: this is what the settlement is about. So he took
- 21:47Speaker 1: the settlement to say, listen, give me this much money,
- 21:50Speaker 1: put it in a fund that can be used for
- 21:52Speaker 1: people that have been pinpointed by the government and so
- 21:57Speaker 1: that they can be made whole again. And in reality,
- 22:01Speaker 1: I think that there are people that have been pinpointed
- 22:04Speaker 1: by the government that should be made whole again. Listen,
- 22:07Speaker 1: I'm against the use of the IRS when– I don't
- 22:10Speaker 1: care if it's Republicans, Democrats went after reporters. If you remember,
- 22:14Speaker 1: I think Nixon did that. He's a Republican. And you
- 22:17Speaker 1: had Obama went after the Tea Party. Listen, this is
- 22:21Speaker 1: the Internal Revenue Service. It isn't there for these elected
- 22:24Speaker 1: officials to say, we're going to appoint people to it
- 22:27Speaker 1: so I can use it for a vindictive arm to
- 22:29Speaker 1: go after people, just as the Biden administration did when
- 22:35Speaker 1: it came to the regulators at the banks to try
- 22:37Speaker 1: to debank Trump. This isn't what government's all about. And
- 22:41Speaker 1: when it does that kind of stuff, The people should
- 22:44Speaker 1: be going to prison, and the government should be held
- 22:46Speaker 1: accountable to make those people whole. I have a difficult time,
- 22:51Speaker 1: like on January 6th, with some of these people that
- 22:53Speaker 1: were just law-abiding citizens. They weren't troublemakers, and they didn't
- 22:57Speaker 1: break any windows. And they walked in, and the police
- 23:00Speaker 1: didn't stop them, and they looked around, and they left,
- 23:03Speaker 1: almost like you would as a tourist. Now, should we
- 23:07Speaker 1: hunt them down and arrest them and put them in
- 23:10Speaker 1: jail and ruin their lives for– just walking in with
- 23:13Speaker 1: the police, not stopping him. And they were looking around
- 23:16Speaker 1: and then they left. They didn't steal Nancy Pelosi's podium.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I mean, some of the, some of this stuff got
- 23:21Speaker 1: out of hand politically. I'm tired of the politics involved
- 23:25Speaker 1: with judges or, or with the, the law fair or
- 23:31Speaker 1: whatever you want to call it, or using the IRS.
- 23:34Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just, if you go on trial, you
- 23:37Speaker 1: call it. I want you to, the facts of your
- 23:40Speaker 1: cases to be heard and, And it doesn't matter if
- 23:43Speaker 1: you're a conservative or a liberal or a Democrat, Republican, independent.
- 23:46Speaker 1: It shouldn't matter. What are the facts of your case?
- 23:49Speaker 1: And you should be able to get a fair ruling
- 23:51Speaker 1: based on that. It should have nothing to do with politics,
- 23:54Speaker 1: nor should have anything to do with politics when we
- 23:57Speaker 1: sick the government on somebody like they did the Trump family.
- 24:00Speaker 1: So or some of these people from January 6th that
- 24:04Speaker 1: were certainly gone after in an aggressive fashion like we've
- 24:09Speaker 1: never seen before.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Okay. I'll agree partly on that. But you notice what
- 24:16Speaker 3: shortly came when he was supposed to, when he went
- 24:18Speaker 3: to sue, then he came back and said, I'll take
- 24:20Speaker 3: this amount. And he and his group get to pick
- 24:24Speaker 3: who gets the money and who don't. But this is
- 24:26Speaker 3: what the other part, in the fine print, in the
- 24:30Speaker 3: fine print, whatever he has done wrong... Right.
- 24:36Speaker 1: He got a pardon. He got– I agree with you
- 24:40Speaker 1: on the fine print totally. In other words, the IRS
- 24:42Speaker 1: won't look at him ever again or his family members
- 24:46Speaker 1: or his businesses. I'm in total agreement with you that–
- 24:51Speaker 1: keep in mind the attorney general was also Trump's personal lawyer.
- 24:54Speaker 1: And so his personal lawyer as the attorney general gave
- 24:57Speaker 1: him a total waiver– from the IRS ever inspecting anything
- 25:02Speaker 1: to do with him, his children, his businesses, period. And
- 25:06Speaker 1: as I've said on a program last week, if they
- 25:08Speaker 1: did that for Biden, every conservative would be bitching about it,
- 25:11Speaker 1: just as they should when they do it for the
- 25:13Speaker 1: Trump family, because they're not doing it for anybody else.
- 25:16Speaker 3: You're correct, but it just wasn't the Trump family. It's
- 25:19Speaker 3: the people in his cabinet also.
- 25:20Speaker 1: Well, it's his businesses and what have you that's Now,
- 25:26Speaker 1: the counterargument to that, and I'm not saying that there's
- 25:29Speaker 1: a counterargument, the counterargument is, look at the hell he's
- 25:32Speaker 1: been through as a result of politics. And I'm just,
- 25:36Speaker 1: as an American, I'm opposed to the politics that uses
- 25:40Speaker 1: the branches of government for evil purposes, to go after
- 25:46Speaker 1: an individual or to go after their family members or
- 25:50Speaker 1: or to persecute people. I find that so reprehensible. I
- 25:53Speaker 1: don't care who's behind it or what party's behind it.
- 25:56Speaker 3: I don't agree with it. I understand what you're saying there.
- 25:59Speaker 3: But in the same token, when he did get pulled in,
- 26:02Speaker 3: he should have realized that people are going to be
- 26:05Speaker 3: focused on everything he does. But he keeps on going
- 26:08Speaker 3: on and on and on. Like this, whatever he wants,
- 26:13Speaker 3: he's going to go after. And he don't care what
- 26:16Speaker 3: anybody thinks. And he should be scrutinized because of what
- 26:19Speaker 3: he did in New York City.
- 26:22Speaker 1: Well, listen, he can be scrutinized all he wants. It
- 26:26Speaker 1: can become unfair when it becomes done for political purposes.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Like that Loretta James, she ran for office on a
- 26:35Speaker 1: platform of, if you elect me, I'll get Trump. I'll
- 26:38Speaker 1: go after Trump. Well, that seems so wrong to me
- 26:42Speaker 1: that you're running for office saying, give me the power
- 26:44Speaker 1: and I'm going to go after some individual.
- 26:47Speaker 3: Some individual that kept going through courts and not doing
- 26:50Speaker 3: what he was supposed to be doing.
- 26:51Speaker 1: That's not necessarily true. It's just like this. I'm sorry.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I don't believe this for a minute. This woman that
- 26:59Speaker 1: won the $ 85 million, the woman that claimed she was
- 27:01Speaker 1: sexually assaulted in a department store dressing room, never filed
- 27:06Speaker 1: a police report, didn't scream, didn't go out in shock
- 27:10Speaker 1: or anything. I don't believe that story for one minute.
- 27:13Speaker 1: And yet it's her word against his word. and yet
- 27:18Speaker 1: they ruled against him and gave an $ 85 million settlement
- 27:22Speaker 1: because of perhaps the politics of the region. And there's
- 27:26Speaker 1: no proof involved in this at all. It's just ridiculous.
- 27:31Speaker 3: That can be sketchy on that point. I can see
- 27:33Speaker 3: what you're saying, because that could be done just because
- 27:36Speaker 3: you're a female in the first place.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Right.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I mean, if you're claiming you were sexually assaulted in
- 27:41Speaker 1: a department store, why didn't you scream? You're in a
- 27:43Speaker 1: department store. Why didn't you come out? I mean, it's
- 27:46Speaker 1: so ridiculous, the whole scenario. And I'm just troubled by
- 27:52Speaker 1: some of these allegations that are made against some of
- 27:55Speaker 1: these people for political purposes. Usually you would often hear
- 27:59Speaker 1: this like in divorce cases where the wife would accuse
- 28:04Speaker 1: the father of some sexual misdoings or something. None of
- 28:07Speaker 1: it was true. It was just such an ugly divorce
- 28:09Speaker 1: that they would make these claims up. And I'm thinking
- 28:11Speaker 1: how evil that is to do that to a person.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's the evilness of the people in the
- 28:18Speaker 3: first place.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:20Speaker 1: So I understand why Trump would say, listen, if the
- 28:22Speaker 1: next president is a Democrat, are they going to go
- 28:25Speaker 1: after my family again like they did under the Biden administration? Remember,
- 28:29Speaker 1: under the Biden administration, you had bank regulators that came
- 28:33Speaker 1: forward that were whistleblowers. that came forward that said, hey,
- 28:37Speaker 1: we were instructed to go to these banks, Bank of
- 28:41Speaker 1: America and everything, and get them to debank Trump's entire family.
- 28:47Speaker 1: I had never heard of this before I read this story,
- 28:49Speaker 1: where they went and they basically threatened these banks through
- 28:54Speaker 1: regulation to get his entire family debanked. And I said, well,
- 28:58Speaker 1: what does that mean? Well, it means you can't have
- 29:01Speaker 1: any money in that bank. You can't do business with
- 29:03Speaker 1: that bank. So it didn't matter if it was Barron
- 29:06Speaker 1: Trump or his wife or his entire family was debanked
- 29:10Speaker 1: because the regulators were saying they were forced to do
- 29:13Speaker 1: this under the Biden administration. So Trump had to go
- 29:15Speaker 1: to much smaller regional banks because they wouldn't do business
- 29:18Speaker 1: with him. Well, I think that that is an absolute
- 29:21Speaker 1: abuse of power. He since then has passed a law.
- 29:25Speaker 1: that changed the law to say this should not happen
- 29:28Speaker 1: to any American. It doesn't matter if you're Democrat or Republican,
- 29:31Speaker 1: and I agree with that. uh it was just the
- 29:35Speaker 1: evilness of politics and i i don't support that kind
- 29:39Speaker 1: of stuff i mean it's america we're all americans i
- 29:42Speaker 1: don't support this destroy somebody with the office that you
- 29:46Speaker 1: have for political purposes i i just don't think that's that's.
- 29:50Speaker 3: Right was it totally political Yeah, these..
- 29:53Speaker 2: 100% political?
- 29:54Speaker 1: Or was there.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Anything there that was viable to be used?
- 29:58Speaker 1: No, they were... Because they did it through regulations. They were...
- 30:01Speaker 1: And these guys are coming forward as whistleblowers saying, this
- 30:04Speaker 1: is what took place. It's the evilness of politics. And sometimes,
- 30:10Speaker 1: I mean, it's why... Sometimes you've got to just base
- 30:14Speaker 1: people on the job they're doing outside of their political parties.
- 30:19Speaker 1: You follow me? I mean, just because..
- 30:20Speaker 3: I follow you, but what are we going to do
- 30:23Speaker 3: about Epstein files now?
- 30:24Speaker 1: I believe that all should be released. And I agree
- 30:27Speaker 1: with you. It certainly has vanished from the front page.
- 30:30Speaker 1: Is there any scrutiny because of the war situation? And
- 30:35Speaker 1: now you've got his former lawyer in charge of it.
- 30:39Speaker 1: And I seriously doubt if you'll know any more than
- 30:43Speaker 1: you know right now. I'll say it to you again,
- 30:46Speaker 1: and I don't know if you agree. I believe it
- 30:47Speaker 1: was an intelligence operation that Epstein was created. I suspect
- 30:52Speaker 1: a lot of it was through the Mossad. And I
- 30:54Speaker 1: think it's an intelligent operation, and they're not going to
- 30:57Speaker 1: give you any of that information at all. And God
- 31:00Speaker 1: only knows who has it and what they can use
- 31:04Speaker 1: it for to manipulate the rich and political people. And
- 31:07Speaker 1: that's very disturbing to me.
- 31:09Speaker 3: Well, then what about these poor girls?
- 31:12Speaker 1: Exactly. I agree with you. What about the victims? And
- 31:16Speaker 1: they are absolutely forgotten. It's a double standard of justice.
- 31:20Speaker 1: But it was a double standard of justice under Democrats
- 31:22Speaker 1: or Republicans. You didn't see it under Biden. You didn't
- 31:25Speaker 1: see it under Trump. Go back to the original case
- 31:29Speaker 1: when they brought it in Florida. I mean, that whole
- 31:32Speaker 1: case was fixed back then. I forget what year that was.
- 31:35Speaker 1: So it didn't matter if they were Republicans or Democrats anymore.
- 31:37Speaker 1: This is a double standard of justice, and I agree
- 31:40Speaker 1: with you. It stinks to high heavens.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Well, okay then. I got a little story for you. Good.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I can use one.
- 31:51Speaker 3: A guy that I was working with would drive nothing
- 31:54Speaker 3: but Fords. His dad had Fords. His uncles had Fords.
- 32:00Speaker 3: His grandfather had Fords. His great-grandfather had Fords. I'll never
- 32:04Speaker 3: buy nothing but a Ford.
- 32:06Speaker 1: Gotcha.
- 32:06Speaker 3: So one day we're sitting there at lunch and we're
- 32:08Speaker 3: talking away, and he said, you know, I worked on
- 32:11Speaker 3: my truck this past weekend, yeah? He said, I put
- 32:13Speaker 3: Mopar shocks on my Ford. I don't know. Sometimes I
- 32:18Speaker 3: can be a smart aleck for no reason at all.
- 32:21Speaker 3: I said, so you put the Mopar shocks on your
- 32:23Speaker 3: Ford so it would ride like a Chevy. He got
- 32:26Speaker 3: up and left the lunchroom and didn't talk to me
- 32:27Speaker 3: for about four days.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Now, wait a minute. Wouldn't a Mopar shock make it
- 32:31Speaker 1: ride like a Chrysler? Because Chrysler's Mopar.
- 32:34Speaker 3: I understand, but it made it ride softer.
- 32:36Speaker 1: I see. So he was that upset over a joke
- 32:41Speaker 1: for four days.
- 32:42Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 32:43Speaker 1: I don't know. Sometimes people just got to lighten up
- 32:47Speaker 1: a little bit on that stuff.
- 32:50Speaker 3: What my end thing was going to say was both sides.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Both sides have got to lighten up and take a
- 32:57Speaker 3: look at what's going to help us and our kids
- 33:01Speaker 3: and our grandkids and our great-grandkids in the future.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Don't sit there on a sideline on one. and stay
- 33:07Speaker 3: with it just because that's your banner all your life.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Right. I'm with you.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Have a nice day.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Thank you. You're on the air.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Ronald.
- 33:17Speaker 1: It's Ted the Conservative.
- 33:19Speaker 2: My goodness gracious. I was calling in to get your
- 33:22Speaker 2: opinion on something.
- 33:23Speaker 1: Well, I can give you that, and then you can
- 33:25Speaker 1: talk about other stuff.
- 33:27Speaker 2: And then I had to listen to China is the
- 33:31Speaker 2: moral authority of the world, and I had to listen
- 33:35Speaker 2: to All the assassination attempts on Donald Trump are false.
- 33:42Speaker 2: And then we go to the Epstein situation.
- 33:44Speaker 1: All right.
- 33:45Speaker 2: And I'm like, wow. You know, I can say this.
- 33:49Speaker 1: There are other people. Once again, I say there are
- 33:51Speaker 1: other people that have other opinions than yours, and they
- 33:54Speaker 1: have every right to express it. All right?
- 33:56Speaker 3: Yes.
- 33:57Speaker 2: I have friends that have watched, you know, what was
- 33:59Speaker 2: that last shooting attempt at the media dinner? What was
- 34:04Speaker 2: that called?
- 34:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I know what you mean.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Where the guy stormed in and they ended up, you know,
- 34:10Speaker 2: they subdued him and they got him. You know, I
- 34:12Speaker 2: have friends that believe that. The Butler shooting, the shooting
- 34:17Speaker 2: on the golf course. They're such staunch liberals. They believe
- 34:21Speaker 2: those are all staged events to help promote Trump.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Well, I think that's crazy, but people are entitled to
- 34:27Speaker 1: their crazy thoughts and opinions. I think it's just crazy.
- 34:30Speaker 2: That's just as crazy as the other guy saying that China...
- 34:35Speaker 2: is the moral authority of the world.
- 34:37Speaker 1: Well, I don't know that, I don't know what you're entitled.
- 34:39Speaker 2: To your opinions, but that doesn't mean that you're not crazy.
- 34:43Speaker 2: And then I got to touch on the substance stuff.
- 34:47Speaker 2: I'm convinced that everything that could be released has been released.
- 34:53Speaker 2: The reason other documents haven't been released is because a
- 34:57Speaker 2: lot of it is hearsay. You know what I mean?
- 35:00Speaker 2: You can't, you can't, put someone in a legal jeopardy
- 35:04Speaker 2: without legal stance. You know what I mean? So I
- 35:12Speaker 2: think both Republicans and Democrats are using Epstein as a
- 35:16Speaker 2: political football to how it benefits themselves. And if I'm wrong,
- 35:21Speaker 2: there's one guy that could prove me wrong.
- 35:24Speaker 4: Tom Matthews.
- 35:25Speaker 2: He claimed to be a big fighter of the people, right?
- 35:29Speaker 2: He was out front with Ro Khanna, and he's become
- 35:33Speaker 2: so entrenched with that left wing of the Democrat Party. Well,
- 35:38Speaker 2: he lost his election. He doesn't have to worry about
- 35:40Speaker 2: getting re-elected.
- 35:41Speaker 1: All right, stand by for a minute. Stand by. Back
- 35:44Speaker 1: with Ted the Conservative and more of your calls. Welcome
- 35:47Speaker 1: to a Tuesday afternoon, May 26th. We're at 81 degrees.
- 35:50Speaker 1: Ron Furb from the Kingdom of Mahoney. News, weather, and
- 35:54Speaker 1: talk station. 570 WKBN. And Ron Verbar, it's Theodore.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Okay, Ronald. So Tom Massey claims to be the people's representative, right?
- 36:08Speaker 2: And he claims that there's this list of... What should
- 36:14Speaker 2: we call them? Aggressors in the Epstein files that the
- 36:19Speaker 2: Trump White House is protecting.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Well..
- 36:22Speaker 2: He has complete legal protection and authority, as he said
- 36:27Speaker 2: he has, to stand on the House floor and read
- 36:29Speaker 2: these names and put to bed the Epstein mystery. So
- 36:34Speaker 2: why doesn't he do that?
- 36:36Speaker 1: I don't think he has access to all of the information.
- 36:41Speaker 1: I mean, stand by, Ted. I've got a long segment
- 36:43Speaker 1: after my break at 4. I want to talk to
- 36:45Speaker 1: him more about that and take more of your calls.
- 36:47Speaker 1: We're here until 5.30 tonight. Ron Ferb, NewsRadio 570 WKBN,

- 37:11Speaker 6: They're still trying to sort out casualties after today's chemical
- 37:14Speaker 6: explosion at a pulp and paper mill in Longview, Washington.
- 37:18Speaker 6: Over ten people injured and more than one dead, say
- 37:20Speaker 6: fire officials. Fire Chief Scott Goldstein.
- 37:23Speaker 7: This is white liquor. It is a chemical mixture of
- 37:27Speaker 7: sodium hydroxide, sodium sulfide, and disodium carbonate that is used
- 37:35Speaker 7: in the paper mills. making process.
- 37:38Speaker 6: They've cooled down the damaged chemical tank and eliminated the
- 37:41Speaker 6: chance of a major explosion, say fire officials in Orange County, California,
- 37:45Speaker 6: at the military aircraft factory, but there's still a chance
- 37:48Speaker 6: of a leak or smaller blast, so not all evacuation
- 37:51Speaker 6: orders are lifted.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Says ABC's Alex Stone.
- 37:53Speaker 8: Hopefully later on tonight, the 16,000, it was 50,000 last
- 37:57Speaker 8: night because of the threat of what they call a blevy,
- 38:00Speaker 8: but a large-scale explosion, and now gone, that that's not
- 38:03Speaker 8: going to go on, that they hope to be able
- 38:05Speaker 8: to get the number down from the 16,000 it's at
- 38:08Speaker 8: right now to nobody possibly later on tonight.
- 38:11Speaker 6: A major rebuff to an effort promoted by President Trump
- 38:15Speaker 6: for the midterm elections, a proposed South Carolina congressional map
- 38:19Speaker 6: that could have allowed Republicans to flip the seat held
- 38:21Speaker 6: by Democratic Rep. Jim Clyburn, has been killed by the
- 38:24Speaker 6: Republican-controlled state Senate. It voted to go home till after
- 38:29Speaker 6: June primaries.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Without action on the map.
- 38:32Speaker 6: It happens the same day a three-judge panel in a
- 38:34Speaker 6: federal court in Alabama ruled unanimously... that state Republicans are
- 38:38Speaker 6: still blocked from using their 2023 congressional map. ABC's Devin Dwyer.
- 38:43Speaker 9: Alabama Republicans are not giving up this fight. They plan
- 38:46Speaker 9: to go back to the Supreme Court again. I think
- 38:49Speaker 9: by my count that would be the fourth time in
- 38:51Speaker 9: this battle over their 2023 election map. Back to the
- 38:55Speaker 9: Supreme Court. Of course, we're right up against the wall.
- 38:57Speaker 9: The primary is already underway.
- 38:59Speaker 1: There's a Republican runoff today in Texas for U.S.
