  Speaker 1: off and lived a good life, and they find him

  Speaker 1: in these barrels because there's it's just Vegas, one of

  Speaker 1: these cities you meet people and they disappear. There were

  Speaker 1: no cell phones, there were email addresses back in the

  Speaker 1: day with these guys. So it is funny hearing these

  Speaker 1: guys talked about that lake because it's the lowest it's

  Speaker 1: ever been historically. So uh, And it was hilarious being

  Speaker 1: there that week and all them talking about that. Yeah,

  Speaker 1: it's pretty amazing that. It's a pretty gruesome stories there.

  Speaker 1: There were these people walking around along the edge of
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: Lake Mead and uh, the out of the levels of

  Speaker 1: lake meat have dropped so much. They saw a barrel
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: that was decomposing and looked inside and saw a skeleton
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: with a shirt and a belt sticking to it. And
• 5:10
  Speaker 1: the cops came out and said, this guy was probably
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: a victim of a hit from the mob in the eighties.

  Speaker 1: And yeah, you're gonna see that a lot now. It's
• 5:17
  Speaker 1: it is so weird to fly into Vegas and you
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: fly over uh, Lake Mead and you see the reservoir
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: and the way like you can see how the waterline
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: it's so strange and you can it's it's the crazy.

  Speaker 1: The color is crazy. And also the striations in the
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: banks where it's just you know, you can see where
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: it used to be and it's it's totally stunning. Um.

  Speaker 1: We had an Action Action Network event. It was amazing.

  Speaker 1: It turned out to be an amazing event. I actually

  Speaker 1: honestly wish I was there. You would have loved it. Uh.

  Speaker 1: We a lot of fans were there. I appreciate everybody

  Speaker 1: who came out. Every single person asked me where signing?

  Speaker 1: for us at Stadium swim beautiful venue. Uh, and we

  Speaker 1: just had a blast meeting fans, meeting other people in

  Speaker 1: the media industry that came by. Chris Long was there,

  Speaker 1: so you know you had said to me last week

  Speaker 1: on the podcast, Uh, when you meet Chris Long mentioned

  Speaker 1: their name Joe O'Malley, So so i'm It turns out

  Speaker 1: my hotel room. I was upgraded to a suite at

  Speaker 1: the hotel and uh, so I had a nice size

  Speaker 1: because it's an inside joke, everyone's got a podcast, and

  Speaker 1: he's impossible not to like off the bat. Also, he's

  Speaker 1: one of those people that is just so empirically good

  Speaker 1: looking you don't even think people like that exists, right,

  Speaker 1: cheek bones, he's huge, he's rich, he's a great athlete,

  Speaker 1: it happened. It was at the event, like I felt,

  Speaker 1: I felt like a little bit of someone's like spittle

  Speaker 1: on my face. At one point, after too much close talking,

  Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm like, oh my god, I just got COVID.

  Speaker 1: Here's what's crazy. Okay. So the next morning I go

  Speaker 1: through security. I get on the shuttle, the train the

  Speaker 1: tram from security to the d gates at Las Vegas
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: or at the airport Harry Reader International Airport, and I
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: get on the tram and there's a guy who's like
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: sucking sort of the webbing between his um and his finger,

  Speaker 1: and it looks really weird. I'm like, oh fuck, this
• 10:04
  Speaker 1: guy's gonna kill everybody, right, and then he takes his
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: hand out of his mouth and he's like good blood
• 10:11
  Speaker 1: blood is gushing all over his hand. I'm like, oh
• 10:14
  Speaker 1: my god, he's gonna kill us. But he had a
• 10:16
  Speaker 1: machete in his bag and he cut himself first, and
• 10:19
  Speaker 1: then he puts it back in his mouth and like
• 10:21
  Speaker 1: it's really looks like it's painful. And I happen to
• 10:23
  Speaker 1: have a bunch of band aids in my bag. So

  Speaker 1: I hand him like a whole load of band aids

  Speaker 1: and he's like, thanks so much, I appreciate it. I

  Speaker 1: reached into my bag and my razor was in the

  Speaker 1: side pocket and I forgot I cut my hand. Great.

  Speaker 1: Wen't see him after that. We both get off the

  Speaker 1: tram go our separate ways. I go up to my gates,

  Speaker 1: I get some food. I'm lounging. I'm talking to people

  Speaker 1: and yeah, right, and uh, exactly no, you know what,

  Speaker 1: I was wearing a mask. I was one of the

  Speaker 1: few people, like in the airports and on the plane

  Speaker 1: wearing a mask. So I'm wearing the mask, I'm talking

  Speaker 1: to people whatever. And uh. I get on the plane.

  Speaker 1: I board the plane. I sit out of my seat.

  Speaker 1: Right before the door closes. This guy gets on sits

  Speaker 1: right next to me. Oh my god. I say to him.

  Speaker 1: I say to him, how's your hand? He goes, it's

  Speaker 1: really good. Thanks. I go, what are the fucking odds?

  Speaker 1: He goes, it's pretty crazy. So you know what I did?

  Speaker 1: I slacked. Sean Croner and Nick Giffen are predictive analytics geniuses,

  Speaker 1: the island. CVS like we were both doing our Saturday errands,

  Speaker 1: off top of my head. Then life moves in mysterious rhythms.

  Speaker 1: an Eagles fan going to that draft and Philly, it

  Speaker 1: was so cool, like I'll never forget that Dallas Cowboys

  Speaker 1: guy like cursing us all out like that was just

  Speaker 1: a really cool experience. I think that was Day two.

  Speaker 1: I mean getting the draft, the draft, Chad, who's the

  Speaker 1: biggest winner of the draft in Europeion before we go

  Speaker 1: a great organization to develop him by his defensive coordinator

  Speaker 1: the pros and give him sort of the time he

  Speaker 1: needs to heal, put him in a position to succeed.

  Speaker 1: He'll do great and in four years get his big

  Speaker 1: money contract. Like it's hard to time your shot right,
