- 0:47Thank you. Now here are the hosts of the
- 0:50United We Scan podcast. And welcome back everybody,
- 0:54episode one O 7. As stated last week, we are
- 0:59going to go over the Rex activity scans again today.
- 1:03I know my background looks a little different.
- 1:05I am actually visiting my parents this weekend.
- 1:07So my childhood bedroom for everybody that watches this.
- 1:13So on that note, we're going to make this quick a little.
- 1:18How was your week, James? Oh, pretty normal week for the
- 1:23post office. Of course lower packages, UPS
- 1:26and Amazon were quite light this week, but did have a nice 45
- 1:32minute conversation with the new postmaster, kind of feeling him
- 1:35out, seeing where he stands on things and stuff like that.
- 1:38But other than that, it was just, you know, the standard
- 1:41fare for a rural carrier. I mean, after having three weeks
- 1:44of having a day off in the middle of the week.
- 1:47And it was different to go back for a straight five days.
- 1:51But how was your week, Bill? It was fun.
- 1:57I had lots of things not to do. I didn't do them.
- 1:59So therefore I have lots of things not to do left to do that
- 2:04I won't do. How was your week, Kristen?
- 2:07Mine wasn't bad I ran my route on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
- 2:12Thursday, Friday I trained a new RCA Friday ended up we were
- 2:18going to go out on the route one more time because he was on his
- 2:21own yesterday. I do not know how that went as I
- 2:23was not there. I traveled 4 hours to my parents
- 2:26house as I said here. But Friday we went to go start
- 2:31the LLV to go out and it would not start.
- 2:37We tried starting fluid. We noticed it was getting gas
- 2:40because luckily this brand new RCA is a car guy.
- 2:44And so they, they let the regular know that when he got
- 2:49back, he'd have to take the other half of the route out.
- 2:51And we went back into the break room for about, I don't know,
- 2:55two hours or so and went through the OJT book and this check
- 2:59sheet and had sample forms explaining everything.
- 3:03So it was a good day to really just go through all the little
- 3:09stuff that we may not have seen why we were out on the route for
- 3:13the previous three days. So and then that my week wasn't
- 3:16bad and decided last minute to come down and pay my parents a
- 3:20visit. Ruby and little man.
- 3:22So we didn't even tell them. Ruby called him when we got off
- 3:26the exit to the highway. I said keep her talking for
- 3:28three miles and she's like, OK, she was, well, grandma, I'm
- 3:31going to headlight you go, 'cause we're getting ready to
- 3:33pull into your driveway. She's like, what?
- 3:39So yeah, other than that, it wasn't too bad.
- 3:42It's going to be cold this next week, though.
- 3:44I'm not looking forward to Tuesday's 7° high for myself.
- 3:49And we have another RCA training, and since my Saab is
- 3:55the other trainer in the office, well, he can have fun riding in
- 3:58the LLV. With the single digit attempts
- 4:04this week training that RCA, I'll be happy to run my route.
- 4:08We'll see how that goes. But other than that guys, few
- 4:14things you wanted to touch on 1st James before we dive into
- 4:17the activities. Rex scans.
- 4:25Well, I mean, we are coming up on a mini mail survey.
- 4:28So that's, that's the, that's the big, big discussion going on
- 4:34right now. And what are the dates, Kristen?
- 4:36February 22nd through March 7th. So about this time is when we
- 4:42start measuring, measuring the distances for everything that
- 4:48you do during your office time, your office walk distances.
- 4:55And the biggest things that you got to make sure you do is you
- 4:58make sure that you're getting the proper footage for
- 5:02everything on your on your office duties.
- 5:05You know, and it starts immediately with your enter
- 5:11storage area from the point where you retrieve your scanner
- 5:16to the point where the carrier stands when casing mail.
- 5:19That means you're in your case, acing your, your desk right
- 5:24there. That is where you are measuring
- 5:26this footage to. Now, I do know there are offices
- 5:29where you have long walk distances to your locker and
- 5:34things you come in that building, you are there to pick
- 5:37up your scanner first thing. So if you have to go to a locker
- 5:41room to hang up your coat before you go to your case.
- 5:45James, we lost your sound. Oh, is it back now?
- 5:50You are? Yep.
- 5:51I don't know why, but OK. What did you what did you miss?
- 5:56Where did I? Stop off if you have to go to a
- 5:59locker room to hang up your coat.
- 6:02If you have to go to a locker room to hang up your coat on
- 6:04your way to your case, measure to there because you're going to
- 6:09have to hang your OH somewhere else in some offices especially,
- 6:13like SMD, CS, and places where they're micromanaging the hell
- 6:17out of you. Now they may now, now if you're
- 6:22going to do that, they may say you're not going to clock in
- 6:26till you're ready for work. So they may have you come in and
- 6:28hang your code up first and then go to retrieve your scanner.
- 6:34Good point. That's a good point, but if
- 6:38they're making if they're not allowing you to have your code
- 6:41at the scanner, and you're spending that time in the office
- 6:46to hang up your coat, you should be getting paid to hang up your
- 6:50code in a place other than by your workstation.
- 6:54Well and honest for for your scanner storage area.
- 6:57You're measuring from your case to the scanner and back to your
- 7:02case. No, if you actually look, I
- 7:05just, I just sent it in the in the chat, it says from the point
- 7:09where the carrier stands when retrieving the scanner to the
- 7:13point where the carrier stands when casing mail.
- 7:16Because it's like you walked in the door, grabbed your scanner,
- 7:19and now you're going to do your. Stuff.
- 7:24Yeah, that one is going to be, it's going to be, it's going to
- 7:29depend on where the scanner storage is per office.
- 7:32You got to think about that. Mine you walk in the door,
- 7:36scanners are right there to your left.
- 7:39Yep. And then?
- 7:41The right in between, the right in between where the trucks
- 7:46bring the stuff in and where the carriers walk out to the trucks
- 7:49in my office and it's right there just inside the doors.
- 7:53But each office is going to be different.
- 7:56But that's what it says in the instructions.
- 7:59Yeah, and. It's.
- 8:00It's one way. It's from scanner doc to the
- 8:03case. Right.
- 8:06And you know, don't get caught up by the old heads.
- 8:08You still follow the nearest edge of your case to wherever
- 8:13it's to the center of your case where you case your mail.
- 8:16Yes. So yeah, it it, it's only three,
- 8:20four feet maybe, but hey, every foot counts.
- 8:26And a reminder that these should be measured in the favor of the
- 8:34carrier. So if you go brief, let's say
- 8:3831.1 feet, they should give you 32 feet.
- 8:43They shouldn't be. Oh well, it's .1, so it should
- 8:45be 31. They should make it beneficial
- 8:49to the carrier. A manager won't but.
- 8:53Round up, not down. Yes.
- 8:59The second one you're going to do is do the raw letter and flat
- 9:05distribution case. And this is from where you're
- 9:09casing the mail. So literally where you just
- 9:12ended measurement from the scanners to where you pick up
- 9:17your clerk, sorted letters and flats.
- 9:21And whichever one of those is furthest is the one you get.
- 9:26And if you take a cart to go get this stuff, like let's say you
- 9:30get a lot of raw mail and you have to take a little buggy with
- 9:33you to go get the mail, the distance to get that buggy is
- 9:38also included in this measurement.
- 9:43And that's from where you stand in the case to case mail to
- 9:48there and back. And that one is a round trip.
- 9:53And the next one is from where you case where your DPS letters
- 10:01are distributed. Now in my office we have Apcs
- 10:07that have shelving units in them for the DPS.
- 10:10Other offices may have different methods for where your DPS is
- 10:14set up for that, but measure from your case where your DPS is
- 10:20and back and the same thing applies if you have a cart that
- 10:23you take over there the distance to and to that cart and to put
- 10:28the cart back. And that's if you are a
- 10:32withdrawal office. You got to remember that if
- 10:35you're not a withdrawal office and all your mail is brought to
- 10:39you, you don't have certain walk distances.
- 10:44Yes, if it's brought to you, you don't get the measurement for
- 10:48it. But if anything is withdrawn,
- 10:54whether it is just the DPS, whether it's just the letters or
- 10:59it's just the flats, or it's just your bundled flats, you are
- 11:04a withdrawal office. It is all or nothing, even if
- 11:08you only do one. Yep, Yep, Yep, Yep.
- 11:15The next, the next one is the carrier's parcel hamper, again
- 11:22from where you case the mail to where the carrier normally gets
- 11:27their parcel hamper, and it's where you grasp the handle to
- 11:31transport it to your case. So if you have to walk around
- 11:36the other cases to get behind the parcel hamper to push it,
- 11:41that is the distance you measure, not just up to where
- 11:46your case is parked and you have to pull it out from wherever it
- 11:48is you walk around every day to go get it.
- 11:51You need to measure that distance and then measure it all
- 11:55the way back to your case. Or like our case of DSC and C,
- 12:00you do your main hamper which is off the sorting line and then go
- 12:05to the bullpen. And the the fact of the matter
- 12:09is that when you're unloading, because our bullpen hampers are
- 12:14locked together, so we can't pull them through our case.
- 12:17So any time that you spend in the bullpen has to be timed when
- 12:21you're unloading from the bullpen hamper into your hamper
- 12:25for conveyance back to your case.
- 12:28And then, then that instance you should be measured from your
- 12:31case to where you get your conveyance hamper to where you
- 12:36withdraw it back to your case where you pull the parcels out
- 12:43of that bullpen into your hamper and back to the case.
- 12:51The next one, number six is from your carrier case to the
- 12:57assigned location or typical location of your government
- 13:02vehicle. This is does not apply to POV
- 13:07routes. POV routes you're supposed to
- 13:10take care of your vehicle off duty, off the clock, on your own
- 13:13time. But for government vehicles we
- 13:16are required to go out and inspect them.
- 13:18Every time you open up the scanner it and asks if you've
- 13:21done the inspection of your vehicle.
- 13:24You are agreeing that you have inspected your vehicle on that
- 13:28scanner. So this measures from your case
- 13:32to where you open the driver's door of the vehicle and back to
- 13:38your case. Now this one, there are
- 13:42arguments on both sides of this, but you should be coming out to
- 13:46the vehicle and doing a loop around the vehicle to do a
- 13:51visual inspection before you open the door of the truck.
- 13:56Looking for things like oil leaks, flat tires, missing
- 14:00pieces from the truck, mirrors, bumpers, lights, things like
- 14:05that. Before you even open that door,
- 14:08management will argue that you just walk to the door, that's
- 14:12it. Get the footage that you
- 14:14deserve. And the next, the next one is
- 14:20for from the point where the carrier stands when casing the
- 14:24mail to the BFS markup three M and centralized hold mail area
- 14:34and make sure that you're getting the farthest distance to
- 14:40there. Yes, whichever 1 is furthest
- 14:43from you is the one you get. The next one is from where you
- 14:51stand to the accountables distribution point, where they
- 14:56give you the accountables, your registered mail, your express,
- 15:02stuff like that. Arrow keys.
- 15:05Arrow keys, anything that's pertinent that has has
- 15:10accountability to it, your stamp stock, things like that.
- 15:16Yeah, offices are different, James.
- 15:18Like in our office, they call us over to get our arrow keys.
- 15:27So yeah, bulls, we don't see accountables anymore.
- 15:31I mean, you know, you never sign for them at all.
- 15:35They just, they just show up on your case and your DPS.
- 15:38It's just a fiasco. I mean, they're saying such an
- 15:42organized system, you know it, it sucks.
- 15:45Well, they're saying that certified are not accountable
- 15:48anymore, that we don't because they run through the DPS.
- 15:53They're tracked that way. You know, they're they're
- 15:55accountable in the DPS, but but registered, you know, those very
- 16:02important ones where people pay a crap ton of money to get
- 16:06there. I mean expressed especially the
- 16:09big one. But stuff like that, you know,
- 16:12if they bring them to you, you get the distance.
- 16:15Like somebody said, anything you get the distance from your
- 16:18casing point out to where the clerk or manager comes by and
- 16:23brings the accountable to you. It could be 5 feet from your
- 16:27case, but you still get that footage.
- 16:33Yeah. Post is due.
- 16:35Any cods? Yeah.
- 16:37Yep, we've, we've had Cods or parcels, they're an accountable
- 16:44item. Next one is from where you case
- 16:52your hot case, unless you do it during load time, which I don't
- 17:00know of any anybody that does pick up their hot case during
- 17:04load time, but it's listed on there.
- 17:06So I'm putting it out there because obviously there's
- 17:10probably 10% of carriers that may do that, but we know that
- 17:16anything less than 30% is important to certain people at
- 17:2266%. The next one is from where you
- 17:29case to obtain additional pieces of equipment rolling stock like
- 17:36carts and things like that prior to loading.
- 17:40And it only applies if you need to use an additional piece of
- 17:45equipment for loading or like my office, we keep all of our
- 17:50steals or U carts, whatever you want to call them over in one
- 17:56spot because we have a limited number of them.
- 17:59So we would measure to where those carts are to bring them
- 18:03back to our case to load our packages.
- 18:04And I will tell you that those are the best thing for a loading
- 18:09parcels out of any other piece of equipment we have because you
- 18:12can just slide them and they're almost level with the back of
- 18:15the LOV from the sidewalk. But other people may have other
- 18:20conveyances that they prefer, but I prefer my steel.
- 18:25You have from the point where you stand when you're casing to
- 18:31the point where excess trays and tubs are stored after the mail
- 18:36has been loaded for conveyance to the vehicle.
- 18:39So you're if you take your DPSDPS and case it or you flip
- 18:45flop it into a different half tray or something like that.
- 18:49The location where you put those trays after you're done with
- 18:52them is where you measure to. You go for the farthest
- 18:57distance. So if they have the trays in one
- 18:59spot and the tubs on the other side of the building and the
- 19:02tubs are the furthest thing you measure to where the tubs are.
- 19:07The next one is from the point where the carrier stands when
- 19:11casing mail to the designated safety service talk location.
- 19:17So this this one I have in my office, we don't measure to
- 19:21where we stand for the oral service talks.
- 19:25We measure where we stand for the videos, which is at the
- 19:29supervisor's desk, which is way further away than where we stand
- 19:33for a standard service talk, which is at our buggies where
- 19:37they sort our parcels. That's in the center of the
- 19:41building, basically. But we measure from our case the
- 19:44supervisor's desk, because we go over there for video sometime.
- 19:51Preempted by the little man. And anything you do outside of
- 19:57that for walking distances or something like that, that would
- 20:01have to be under miscellaneous time if it's not on this list.
- 20:07There's a little man. There, there he is.
- 20:16Woke up to hey Mama, I'm going to just head by grandma here.
- 20:21Yeah, there he is, just for you. Oh, make sure you're make sure
- 20:29you're going through these businesses with your manager or
- 20:32supervisor or postmaster, something like that.
- 20:39The other, the other thing I wanted to talk about is a
- 20:44distance or CB US and centralized boxes.
- 20:52So there has been confusion over the centralized and CBU
- 20:59measuring that they're supposed to do.
- 21:02What you're supposed to do is measure from where you park the
- 21:06truck to the first EBU in the mail stop across all the CB US
- 21:15and then back to your truck. That is considered one dismount
- 21:20of that CBU raft. If you have multiple CB US in
- 21:25there, you're going to be walking back and forth with mail
- 21:27sometime. I know some carriers bring out a
- 21:30little cart for them to carry the mail over there so they
- 21:33don't have to keep going back to the truck.
- 21:35Stuff like that. Or a managers give you a
- 21:39satchel. If you're doing it that way, you
- 21:42need to have miscellaneous time to load that cart up or load
- 21:48that satchel up at each stop. Otherwise you're doing it by
- 21:54hand and getting those extra authorized dismount.
- 22:02That's a good. Point because we are required to
- 22:06use the satchel. You know, a lot of people don't
- 22:09realize that, you know, we can be required to use that satchel.
- 22:14If you do, make sure you get time for loading the satchel,
- 22:18retrieving the satchel, and then loading the satchel.
- 22:21Yes, retrieving it, putting it on and loading it and taking it
- 22:24off. Let's not forget that too and
- 22:26putting it back. Yep.
- 22:31Yep, there's even more than that.
- 22:32And even more than that because there are no measurements to go
- 22:35retrieve that satchel in the morning.
- 22:38You need miscellaneous time to go retrieve it from where it is
- 22:41stored in the building. A miscellaneous time after you
- 22:46when you go to load your vehicle, you are to load that
- 22:50satchel for your first up on start load vehicle.
- 22:56You have everything organized for it.
- 22:58You start load vehicle you load your first stop into that
- 23:02satchel. While on that load vehicle time
- 23:05put it on your conveyance, take it out from the vehicle.
- 23:12Then when you get your stop miscellaneous time to put it on
- 23:16and stop the clock. After you get out of the truck
- 23:18go do your loading. Your emptying of your satchel
- 23:22when you get back to the door of the truck are the clock as you
- 23:25take the satchel off or where it's in a safe location where it
- 23:29won't fly around the cab and stop the clock.
- 23:33Then when you get to your next stop are the clock, load the
- 23:38satchel, get out of the truck, put the satchel on, stop the
- 23:43clock. Game process continues to repeat
- 23:46itself throughout the day. That is your miscellaneous time
- 23:50for using the satchel. Anything else on the the e-mail
- 23:57survey you guys want to talk about this week?
- 23:59Because I think we'll do another episode on the specifics of the
- 24:03mini meal survey ulcer to the time of it.
- 24:06Yeah, You guys agree with that? We'll probably cover the walk
- 24:08distances again too, just we wanted to put that out there.
- 24:11There's been a lot of talk of rumblings about it lately, so
- 24:16but we'll get started in on this Rex activities guide and under
- 24:21the daily activities on the first section.
- 24:24So this was the newest one that came out and 531 of 2024.
- 24:31So under the daily activities. These are your 6.
- 24:36Absolutely. You better do them every single
- 24:39day. Scans, plain and simple.
- 24:42And as we all know, when this all first started, that's what
- 24:46management pushed was the six scans.
- 24:48That's what some management still is pushing is the six
- 24:51scans. They don't tell you about the
- 24:53rest of them. We're going to tell you about
- 24:55the rest of them as well. So #1 obviously is clock in.
- 25:02Select Clock in. Upon arriving at work,
- 25:05immediately retrieve and log into the scanner.
- 25:09The clock in selection records the start of the work day for
- 25:12the carrier. The clock in time's the time
- 25:15that you record as your start time on your 4240 start load.
- 25:24Select Start Load when moving loaded conveyance from work area
- 25:29to begin loading vehicle for delivery.
- 25:32Carriers may have multiple Start load selections in a day.
- 25:36If additional trips to load are required, ensure this keystroke
- 25:40is followed by End Load once loading is complete.
- 25:44There is no change to previously established loading procedures.
- 25:50If your parcels are sorted to the floor at your case and you
- 25:56have to to pick them up off the floor and load them onto your
- 26:00conveyance, that is when you would start your start load for
- 26:03that. Putting them up off the floor
- 26:07onto your conveyance is your, it's starting your start load in
- 26:11those situations. Not everybody does, not all
- 26:14offices do that. Not all routes do that.
- 26:18We have one route that does it in our office.
- 26:20Further, Amazon, specifically the rest of us are thrown in our
- 26:25pumpkins. And there's more, there's more.
- 26:31So one of the things a lot of carriers are doing now is the
- 26:36load truck feature. It is still optional for
- 26:41carriers who are on evaluation. This still optional but if you
- 26:46are using load truck when you are out loading your vehicle,
- 26:51especially with the cold temperatures coming in this
- 26:54week, you can sort your parcels with the low truck feature like
- 26:59you are throwing them in the truck inside the building and a
- 27:04Schmidt will argue otherwise. You just ask them what's the
- 27:07difference of me doing it this way here versus me doing it
- 27:10outside at the truck other than the air temperature that I'm
- 27:14working in. If you're just sorting them,
- 27:19like for me, I put 6 tubs down on the floor and I sort my
- 27:22parcels into those six tubs, which almost coincidentally
- 27:27match up with the section numbers on the load truck
- 27:30feature. So I could sit there and as I'm
- 27:33sorting the parcels be scanning them with the load truck feature
- 27:37under start load vehicle inside the building.
- 27:41But remember, carrier discretion, if you want to fight
- 27:45that battle as something you could do, because you're going
- 27:49to do the same thing out of the truck, you can do it inside in
- 27:52the warmth of the of the building.
- 27:54Yes, and if when you hit start load, the screen will
- 27:59automatically revert to end load.
- 28:02However, if you hit Escape, the only two options that you're
- 28:06going to have under Start load is End Load and the Load Truck
- 28:10feature. Trucks, activities and a load
- 28:14truck feature. Yeah.
- 28:20Oh you can use load truck during our load vehicle.
- 28:24It's the only option you have because you're on a timed event.
- 28:27They decided that it was important for them to remove any
- 28:30other inputs on the scanner to prevent you from doing anything
- 28:34else other than loading your vehicle.
- 28:40And then of course, you're in load vehicle, which is the next
- 28:44one. And obviously you're going to
- 28:46select end load when returning empty conveyance to designated
- 28:50location after vehicle loading is complete.
- 28:53Carrier may have multiple end load selections in a day if
- 28:57additional trips to load are required.
- 28:59So you can have multiple start loads and end loads.
- 29:06All right. The next 1 depart to route.
- 29:13I definitely need new glasses. Select the part to route.
- 29:20Select the part to Yeah it can be for some Select the part to
- 29:24route. When starting the vehicle to
- 29:26depart delivery unit to service route, the depart to route
- 29:30selection begins the route delivery time.
- 29:36So when you start the vehicle you hit depart to route.
- 29:44Plain and simple. Unless you're warming up the
- 29:46vehicle. Unless you're warming up the
- 29:47vehicle. When you're leaving to leave for
- 29:51the route you hit, depart to route return.
- 29:57You guys have the barcode for that?
- 29:59Kristen what you have barcodes outside?
- 30:02You have barcodes at your office for depart to route so you can
- 30:06earn mileage on the Gov. Most of we do have one, there is
- 30:12a set primarily for the city carriers on the side of the door
- 30:17as you're walking out to the trucks and then there's one next
- 30:22to the door as you're walking back into the office for a
- 30:25return to unit. Most of the rural trucks with a
- 30:30couple of exceptions have the barcode stickers inside the
- 30:36trucks. Both of them.
- 30:38Couple of our trucks only have the return to DU and I did
- 30:41notice having to drive the city route truck a few days my mine.
- 30:46When mine was at the shop they didn't have the depart to route
- 30:50but they had the return to unit scan in there.
- 30:54But those barcodes are not for wreck, they are for DMF.
- 31:01Yes, DMF. Yeah.
- 31:03And those are only. Government.
- 31:05Vehicles. That's not for POV drivers, only
- 31:10for government vehicles. All right, return to DU after
- 31:19returning to the office, stopping the vehicle by turning
- 31:22off the key after all route delivery is complete.
- 31:25This begins the timing of end of shift duties.
- 31:31This is a big one for a lot of reasons.
- 31:34Yes, it is you. You park your truck where you
- 31:38park it and you hit your end of shift duties.
- 31:42Now if you unload your truck in a different spot from where it
- 31:46is parked, you're going to hit that return to unit prior to
- 31:53unloading your truck. You're going to hit the return
- 31:55to unit when you park it where you unload it and then you're
- 32:02returning that vehicle to where it goes upon unloading.
- 32:07It is all done under end of shift in those cases.
- 32:12In my office it is not where part of the same spot where we
- 32:16load and unload so. And you want to make sure, you
- 32:23want to make sure you are doing all of your end of shift duties.
- 32:28It has been spread around Facebook quite extensively on
- 32:32what the RE endo shift duties are, but there is an entire list
- 32:37of endo shift duties on a single sheet of paper that's going
- 32:40around. Every single one of those on
- 32:44that sheet comes directly out of the PO6O3 except the DPM and LTM
- 32:51updating because that is newer than the latest version of the
- 32:55PO6O3 which was updated in 2011 I believe and well still before
- 33:02Rex was actually fully conceived.
- 33:06So we, we got to make sure that you are doing all of these tasks
- 33:12on Return to DEU before you hit PM casing or clock out, you've
- 33:20got to do these duties. It adds time to your route.
- 33:23Return to DU is a timed event. This goes for everybody.
- 33:29It doesn't matter if you are a regular carrier, APTF, an RCA or
- 33:35an ARC running Saturdays delivering the mail, which is a
- 33:38possibility out there. You've got to do every single
- 33:43one of these and every one of these duties because that is
- 33:48money in your pocket. Bill said it before.
- 33:52What goes in the scanner goes where, Bill.
- 33:56In the wallet. Exactly.
- 33:58It goes into your wallet, so if you're not putting it in the
- 34:01scanner, it's not going in your wallet.
- 34:05The routes don't push to go to other routes.
- 34:08And guess what, carriers that are taking another route with
- 34:11them are only hurting the route evaluations doing that.
- 34:17And when they hurt the route evaluations, they hurt
- 34:19themselves. It's hard to explain that to
- 34:23them, but you know if you beat them enough, they catch on.
- 34:27And what we mean by that is, you know, if especially for Subs or
- 34:31even the regulars who are still helping out under Mous with
- 34:34additional routes and duties is do the end of shift duties, all
- 34:40of the end of shift duties that you need to do that day for that
- 34:45particular main route. Whether you're a regular for
- 34:48your assigned route, If you're a sub running a primary or
- 34:51something else on the matrix or APTF running one of them on your
- 34:56string or whatever that main route that you are doing the
- 34:59complete route of you're going to complete the call in end of
- 35:03shift duties prior to doing the additional work.
- 35:12All right. And then under the six main ones
- 35:17also is the clock out. You're going to clock out upon
- 35:21returning the scanner to the cradle and departing the
- 35:24delivery unit for the day after all work activities are complete
- 35:31between the return DU and the clock out.
- 35:35If you want to see what your Rex activity scan summary was for
- 35:39the day, that's when that option will be available.
- 35:43Under the return to route, you'll have that activity
- 35:46summary. So clocking out when you're
- 35:52leaving for the day, obviously those are the six main ones that
- 35:58you have to do every single day. Your clock out, your start load,
- 36:02your end load, your depart to route, return to delivery unit,
- 36:07and your clock out. All right, your additional
- 36:11activities. If you take a lunch, you have
- 36:16your out to lunch, return to lunch.
- 36:20Remember lunch. You can do these more than once.
- 36:25So you have up to 30 minutes available on the rural side.
- 36:30If you take 10 minutes here for one cigarette, you take 10
- 36:33minutes later for another one. You know, you can break that up
- 36:36as long as it adds up to 30 minutes.
- 36:41And no, you are not required to take a lunch break.
- 36:46That has been another hot topic. And if management is docking you
- 36:52and putting down a 30 minute lunch and you didn't take one,
- 36:56there's a form for that. So on that note, that is
- 37:02falsifying time. You do not have you.
- 37:04We are not required to take a lunch if you are taking a lunch
- 37:08or taking a break, smoke break a quick you know you're going to
- 37:13stop on the side of the road to eat a sandwich that's considered
- 37:16a break. If you are stopping somewhere to
- 37:19use the restroom, restroom is not a lunch break.
- 37:25Stopping on this where a safe place aside to reload, move your
- 37:29parcels around is not a. Break as reload.
- 37:37And that's supposed to be built in based on your volume.
- 37:40So oh, as a test study office we used to have a reload scan back
- 37:46when we were still testing. Yeah.
- 37:49Oh yeah. Yeah, Bill members, that one.
- 37:52All right, start, start deviation and in deviation, I'm
- 37:57going to do these two together just for this fact that they go
- 38:00hand in hand. And this is only for Priority
- 38:04Mail Express expresses only and those rare circumstances,
- 38:10especially with some of these overburdened routes.
- 38:12Still, if that express is not, you're not going to get there by
- 38:156:00 PM, then that's is where you would use the start
- 38:19deviation and end deviation upon leaving the official line of
- 38:23travel to deliver Priority Mail Express.
- 38:27This is used only when required to deviate to make committed
- 38:32delivery time for Priority Mail Express.
- 38:35No other types of deviation are covered under the selection.
- 38:40Again, it's a six PM cut off now for all expresses unlike in the
- 38:44past. So situations may vary when it
- 38:48comes to if it's going to have to be used depending on the
- 38:53route and the day and the everything else.
- 38:57Upon returning to the official line of travel from delivering a
- 39:01Priority Mail Express, This is used only when required to
- 39:06deviate to make a committed delivery time for Priority Mail
- 39:09Express. No other types of deviation are
- 39:11covered under the selection. All right.
- 39:16And this go ahead. That means specifically you are
- 39:19leaving the very mailbox you are at and that our deviation starts
- 39:26as soon as you are done with that box before you start
- 39:29heading to your express delivery location or you're going to the
- 39:34office to go get the express. Although you shouldn't be
- 39:37answering your phone on the route and they should not be
- 39:40sending you a scanner message. Get it?
- 39:43We can file grievances on both of those.
- 39:45They are not. They don't pay your cell phone
- 39:47bill. You're not required to answer
- 39:49it. X messaging is not a proper form
- 39:52of communication and sending you a scanner messages only in
- 39:56emergency situations and management's lack of preparation
- 40:02is not your emergency, so it should only be if you have to.
- 40:09If management brings it out to you, that's perfectly fine.
- 40:13You have to go back to an address that's behind you.
- 40:16That is a deviation. If you have to go ahead of your
- 40:21route to deliver it before 6:00 PM, that is a deviation and
- 40:26until you return to that mailbox you left, do not hit that in
- 40:30deviation. Once you return to that mailbox
- 40:33and stop the truck you hit in deviation, continue delivering
- 40:38your route. All right, PM casing.
- 40:46I wish they changed the name of this one at this point.
- 40:50Make it. Under there are still there are
- 40:52still offices and 2:00 PM. Yes, there is use after
- 40:58completion of all under other end of shift duties before
- 41:05beginning to case mail for the next delivery day.
- 41:08May also be used if directed to perform additional trips after
- 41:13completion of end of shift duties.
- 41:16Record second trips is done on the day on the 4240.
- 41:22Can you read that very first part of that again?
- 41:26Use. And say it louder for those in
- 41:29the back. Use after the after completion
- 41:34of all other end of shift duties before beginning two case mail
- 41:42or you're also going to use PM casing if you are assisting on
- 41:47other routes, Rcas, PTFS and regulars under the current MOU.
- 41:57That volunteer? That volunteer, yes, when you
- 42:01complete your end of shift duties for that main primary
- 42:07route that you're running that day, the whole route, once that
- 42:11is done, you're going to hit PM casing and then move to the next
- 42:16one. Yeah.
- 42:19And you don't and or Rcas and PTFS, you can clock out because
- 42:27you're going on green card time. You don't have to be on PM
- 42:32casing, just regulars have to use PM casing because our time
- 42:37on our 4240 which the scanner is creating an electronic 4240 has
- 42:44to be that entire time because they're actually tracking your
- 42:49work hours even that overtime you make on those routes.
- 42:54All right, we have our saturation sets.
- 42:58This is our WSS and our box holders, the flats WSS.
- 43:06Little man's talking to us back there.
- 43:09If a flat saturation mailing has an has an address and has not
- 43:15been processed on automation equipment, use this keystroke
- 43:21once to record each set. Select either one residence only
- 43:29or two all deliveries. If cased the afternoon before
- 43:35the delivery day, record, record on the record on.
- 43:41If cased the afternoon before the delivery day, record on the
- 43:45delivery day. OK, So if you have a box holder
- 43:48that came in the night before and you or a flat WSS, we're
- 43:52talking about SWSS right now and it's there and they're going to
- 43:56allow you to use PM casing to case that up prior to you
- 44:01leaving. You are not going to record it
- 44:05under the flats WSS until the day you're delivering the next
- 44:11the following morning. Credit it when you deliver it.
- 44:18A set delivered over several days should be recorded only
- 44:22once on first day of delivery. Only one entry is required per
- 44:27set, so if they allow you to split it that day and finish the
- 44:32next day, you're only going to record it on that first day.
- 44:36Or in my case when I had a box holder, I'm going to jump to
- 44:40that in a minute. Last week I had half of it show
- 44:44up one day, the other half showed up the next day.
- 44:48I only recorded on the first day.
- 44:51Speaking of half and half, Kristen, this one's for our
- 44:55parent child routes out there. Let's say you get the box holder
- 44:59for one zip code that one day you get the same box holder for
- 45:03the other zip code the next day. How do you record that?
- 45:08It's 1 recording because it goes for the whole route.
- 45:12You record it the first day you deliver.
- 45:15And then if you get one for just one zip code but don't get one
- 45:18for the other. You record it once and your
- 45:21whole route gets credit for it. Letters WSS if a if a saturation
- 45:34mailing has an address and has if a letter saturating mailing
- 45:41has an address and has not been processed on automation
- 45:45equipment, which means it's not coming in your DPS.
- 45:50Use this keystroke once to record each set.
- 45:54Select either one residence only or two all deliveries if case,
- 46:00the afternoon before the delivery day.
- 46:02Record on delivery day. A set delivered over several
- 46:05days should recorded only once on the first day of delivery.
- 46:08Only one entry required per set, so that's your WSS flats box box
- 46:16holders. If a flat saturation mailing
- 46:20does not have an address, use this keystroke once to record
- 46:25each set of box holders. Select either one residence only
- 46:29or two all deliveries if case, the afternoon before the
- 46:33delivery day, record on on the delivery day.
- 46:37A set delivered over several days should be recorded only
- 46:40once on the first day of delivery.
- 46:41Only one entry is required per set.
- 46:45Letter box holder is the same. If a letter situation mailing
- 46:49does not have an address, use the keystroke once.
- 46:52And I'm not going to repeat that again for the 4th time.
- 46:55The rest of it. Thank you.
- 46:59WSS has an address. It is not in your DPS.
- 47:04Box holders do not have an address and usually are not in
- 47:09your DPS. Though I have seen postal
- 47:11customer in the DPS but it's true.
- 47:15Now you have. You have to remember a box
- 47:19holder will still sometimes say ECRWSS.
- 47:25That does not mean you enter the east.
- 47:27The WSS version it has to have an address or doesn't have an
- 47:32address. If it doesn't, box holder.
- 47:34If it does, WSS. Oh, you're freaking out over
- 47:38there having a seizure? Oh no, no, no, no.
- 47:42It was just WSSI. Should I should put it in as WSS
- 47:45and then when I get caught I can sit there and say well it said
- 47:49WSS on there. But it says specifically in the
- 47:55scan guide if it has an address. I I'm ignorant, please send an
- 48:01incontinent guide. And then?
- 48:03Leave replacements and you're running a route that gets a WSS
- 48:09or a box holder. Please put those scans in now.
- 48:13I'm I, once we complete this, I'm going to talk a little bit
- 48:16more about leave replacements with these, so go ahead.
- 48:20I saw that. 111 more thing you know the argument you could have
- 48:25on that is when did management train me on that scan?
- 48:30Exactly. And, and I'll say, you know, and
- 48:36show me where you documented that training.
- 48:42Anyway, could that speed? Up 150 somewhere, shouldn't it?
- 48:46In our training on the light blue.
- 48:50Yeah, I was potty trained. OK Trip to Door This is under
- 49:00your delivery activities Trip to door.
- 49:04Use Trip to Door when you have two or more trips are required
- 49:08to deliver or or collect parcels or items to or from the
- 49:15customer. The first trip is automatically
- 49:18credited based on the delivery scans to that address only.
- 49:24If additional trips are required to use use trip to door, enter
- 49:28the total number of trips, initial trip plus a number of
- 49:32additional trips to the delivery location.
- 49:35This does not include authorized dismount locations.
- 49:40So what this is saying is somebody orders 8 mattresses and
- 49:46obviously you can't carry more than one mattress at a time.
- 49:50Sounds like you're speaking from experience.
- 49:58I believe she is. Yeah, yeah.
- 49:59You know, you carry one mattress up to the door.
- 50:03You go back to the you scan it at the door.
- 50:06You go back to the truck, you reach a retrieve the next
- 50:09parcel. You go back up to the door.
- 50:11You scan it at the door so however many trips it takes you
- 50:16to complete and you scan each parcel at the door when you get
- 50:21it to the door the first time please and back and forth.
- 50:25So if it takes you 8 trips, when you get back to the truck from
- 50:30completing your delivery scan, you're going to go into R9, trip
- 50:36to door and you're going to hit 8 for eight trips to the door.
- 50:40If that's what it took you or two trips or three trips or
- 50:43whatever it is. Why do we scan the parcel at the
- 50:49door? Because that is it pinpoints it
- 50:54and that will cover your behind. Trust me, I and I tell every
- 50:59every leave replacement that I train scan it where you stand.
- 51:04I mean, I know they talk about it a little bit in Academy, but
- 51:09this is a shout out to every, every carrier out there.
- 51:13Scan it where you leave it. Why?
- 51:17Because if a customer calls and says they did not get it,
- 51:21management can pull it up and say it was scanned at your door
- 51:25and you can see exactly where you scanned it at.
- 51:28It covered my butt one time I was still a sub.
- 51:32I scanned that package at the door where I delivered it.
- 51:35Customers called but called later, said they never received
- 51:39it. Pulled it right up.
- 51:40They looked, they said yeah, it was scanned right at the door.
- 51:46And that also can prevent management saying you could have
- 51:49stolen the package because if you scan it in the truck,
- 51:53there's a possibility you kept it in the truck and took it home
- 51:56with you when you got back to the office.
- 51:58You don't want to give management that ability to make
- 52:01up a story like that. The less chances management has
- 52:06a finding some loophole bury you with, the better off you are.
- 52:13Exactly, that's why you know, it's a lot of preached on scan,
- 52:17where scan, where you stand, where you drop it because it's
- 52:20going to basically that's a big CYA.
- 52:24In all honesty it is. And I from personal experience,
- 52:27that's a big CYA. I have actually a problem with
- 52:32the wording they put on that trip to door, but I'll do it
- 52:34after you do the next one. Well, I want to talk just a
- 52:37quick This also goes for customer pickups.
- 52:41If you have to make more than one trip to the door for a
- 52:44customer pickup, you're going to enter in the how many trips to
- 52:48the door it took you. That's the one I have a problem
- 52:54with, so go ahead, on to the next one.
- 52:58All right, Door Miscellaneous. Use door miscellaneous only.
- 53:05All right, miscellaneous. I'm sorry.
- 53:08I yes, I pronounced the CEI. Gave it a hard C I've already
- 53:12gotten crud for that in the past.
- 53:15Bill's laughing. Why are we laughing?
- 53:17Yep. Yeah, Ruby's giving me a thumb
- 53:20sound. Thanks for so long.
- 53:22Let me. Know.
- 53:23For so many years. All right, the door.
- 53:26Miss Bill's got a tissue. He's laughing so hard.
- 53:32Guys, if you're not watching us, you can watch us on YouTube and
- 53:36Spotify. But all right, door
- 53:41miscellaneous. Use door miscellaneous only
- 53:45after delivering hold mail, letters and flats that will not
- 53:48fit into the mailbox or postal supplies requested by customer.
- 53:56That's what it says. If you have to.
- 54:01Take the mail to the door 'cause it's too much to fit in the box
- 54:05from a hold. Or if you are delivering postal
- 54:09supplies that they requested that's comes from your clerk so
- 54:13there's a print out sheet. They bring you a box, an
- 54:16envelope or whatever. That's what they're saying.
- 54:18You're supposed to be using under door miscellaneous or
- 54:24taking tubs for a carrier pick up as well, yes.
- 54:29And, and the thing about it for me is when you do a carrier
- 54:35pickup, let's say you have nothing else to deliver to this
- 54:38house, you're doing a carrier pickup.
- 54:40You only have the one trip to the door.
- 54:45You don't use trip to door because if you put one in the
- 54:48trip to door, it deletes it and the first trip to door is
- 54:51included in your trip to door and the system automatically
- 54:55removes 1. So you would have to put do in
- 54:58the trip to door which would be falsifying it.
- 55:01Me personally, I use the door miscellaneous for one trip and
- 55:05guess what? I'm only doing one trip to the
- 55:07door and it's for something that is not a not a delivery that
- 55:12would be covered under trip to door.
- 55:14And so that's where my confusion lies in that specific thing,
- 55:17because I want that credit for going to that door one time and
- 55:22trip to door automatically removes a credit per the 99 page
- 55:27guide. Now also with permission from my
- 55:31management as I'm waiting on the hardship paperwork to go through
- 55:35on my new one and knowing that it is very difficult for her to
- 55:40get to her mailbox, I do. If it hasn't been picked up, I
- 55:45will collect the mail and I will go to her door to give her her
- 55:50mail right now until it becomes an official hardship and I will
- 55:54put in a door miscellaneous. So I am getting that credit for
- 55:58going to that door. And yes, my management is aware
- 56:01of it and it is OK at this time. All right, now we're going to go
- 56:07into authorized dismount. This is another one that gets.
- 56:14You just talked about 1. You just talked about one.
- 56:17Yes, but it's not an official hardship.
- 56:19So it's still. Yeah, but it will be eventually.
- 56:24Authorized Dismount. You're going to use Authorized
- 56:26Dismount when two or more trips are required to complete
- 56:30delivery at an Authorized Dismount location.
- 56:34Only applies to Authorized Dismount locations designated in
- 56:39Delivery Point Manager in your DPM such as businesses, schools,
- 56:45central delivery, including parcel lockers, etcetera.
- 56:50If you are, if you are having to dismount for a hardship, that is
- 56:54an authorized dismount. If they went on an ordering
- 56:58spree and you're delivering, it's going to take more than one
- 57:01trip to deliver everything or for a pick up at an authorized
- 57:07dismount location too. So if you have businesses that
- 57:10don't have a curbside box that you have to go in and deliver
- 57:14the mail. I know I had a school, my old
- 57:17office that was an authorized dismount.
- 57:19We had to go and buzzed in, drop their mail off, grab their
- 57:21outgoing and come and then return.
- 57:25Centralized units whether they're CBU stand alone, CBU
- 57:29centralized boxes. If you and this includes going
- 57:32for your parcel lockers. If it is taking you more than
- 57:35one trip now you will have management.
- 57:38If it is taking you 3451012 trips a day, management does
- 57:45have the right to go in and and double or triple your footage to
- 57:50accommodate that. Now if they do go in and they
- 57:54double your footage for that dismount that you've had a lot
- 57:57of authorized dismounts on. So now you're going to, it's now
- 58:01going to go, it's been doubled. So if you're doing more than
- 58:04what you're already have measurement for, then yet then
- 58:09that would still apply. So if you're measured out and
- 58:12doubled for two trips on a daily basis under your measurements
- 58:17and it takes you 3 or 4, that's where you're going to go in and
- 58:21say it took those additional trips.
- 58:27I hope that makes. Sense and on top and you got to
- 58:30think this, especially with the CBU units, you know we've got
- 58:34all these places that are putting in a giant cluster of
- 58:38all of these CB us and I've seen a picture where there's one
- 58:42place that has a hundred of them in a row for a giant
- 58:46neighborhood and you're going in there and you're going around
- 58:52this entire thing. You're going to have to go back
- 58:54to the truck for more mail. It doesn't matter if you have a
- 58:56satchel, if you have a cart or anything like that, you're going
- 58:59to end up going back to your truck.
- 59:02And so talk with, talk with your local management and see if they
- 59:07can extend your footage or how many times you have to go back
- 59:11to that truck. If you have to go back five
- 59:15times for the truck, they should add five times the distance for
- 59:19your, for your authorized dismount.
- 59:22You know, so don't, don't be afraid of that.
- 59:24And if they aren't willing to, then you're authorized dismount
- 59:26number is going to be through the roof.
- 59:28And if it's through the roof and they're complaining about how
- 59:31many you're doing, that's benchmarking and you can
- 59:34actually file agreement on that. There's, there is a set
- 59:37grievance out there. You could talk with your DRS and
- 59:40ADR that was sent out a couple years ago that they can get that
- 59:44paperwork to file a benchmarking grievance on them trying to
- 59:49lower your numbers for your Rex evaluation.
- 59:53We actually have that situation in our office that has 86
- 59:58dismounts a day. Wow and.
- 1:00:01The post office is like, you know, well, that can't be OK.
- 1:00:06I have 1200 and four boxes, you know, delivery addresses.
- 1:00:10They're all CE us and he says, you know, and they're they're
- 1:00:15spaced out too, to the point where you know, there's no way
- 1:00:18you can't do that. And they said, you know, well,
- 1:00:21you know, what do you think these are the old ones that are
- 1:00:24just the square units either about this damn big.
- 1:00:30There's there's twelve of them per you per cluster box.
- 1:00:34So 12 into 1200 pieces. It's like, you know, folks,
- 1:00:40you're not going to get out there and carry two or three of
- 1:00:42them at a time. So well, yeah, you got to do it
- 1:00:45by tub, you got to do it by satchel.
- 1:00:46You got to every time they tried to turn around and get it, it
- 1:00:49just doesn't work out. And then he then he has to turn
- 1:00:52around and deliver every damn parcel to the door but 8686 a
- 1:00:57day. Wow.
- 1:00:58All right, how the next fun one is the unscanned parcel.
- 1:01:08Use Use unscanned parcel when an obvious parcel, not a letter or
- 1:01:17flat, is delivered and the barcode is missing or completely
- 1:01:22unreadable. Includes small parcels boxes
- 1:01:26delivered to a mailbox or parcel locker.
- 1:01:30Does not include flats, letters, oversized letters, flats or
- 1:01:35catalogs. Do not use if barcode is
- 1:01:38manually entered when delivered. Yeah.
- 1:01:45This is my favorite one. Oh, I we know it is.
- 1:01:48We know it is. I mean, I you know, I've had
- 1:01:51carrier call me. Hey, you know, I used to run the
- 1:01:53route. You know that they have no when
- 1:01:55I was a sub, but with that resident gets her crossword
- 1:02:00puzzles, Sudoku puzzles, they come and it's a metered mailbox.
- 1:02:05There's no scan. It's metered mail.
- 1:02:07It's an obvious parcel. It's an unscanned parcel.
- 1:02:12I get stuff for my churches that are unscanned parcels.
- 1:02:16It's obviously a parcel size. So, you know, this one is I'm
- 1:02:22going to say use your best judgment.
- 1:02:26Always carry your discretion. Yes, always carry your
- 1:02:30discretion. But so I've gone through this
- 1:02:35I've, I tried to file a resolution in 2023 at Michigan
- 1:02:41State convention. It actually passed up to
- 1:02:43Michigan State convention and we got interrupted on the floor by,
- 1:02:48at the time, Director of Labor Relations Bridget Boziak, where
- 1:02:52she said to vote it down because the union and management are in
- 1:02:55discussions of what an unscanned parcel is in 2023.
- 1:03:00Here we are 2025. They don't have a definition,
- 1:03:03but what we do have is documentation that specifically
- 1:03:09states what and and cannot be construed as a parcel.
- 1:03:14We do not have the definition in the PO6O3 anymore.
- 1:03:19That was deleted with the last contract that we had that no
- 1:03:24longer exists or applies. It is just paper in the book
- 1:03:28right now. It does.
- 1:03:29We cannot use that and so the definitions that we have on tap
- 1:03:36right now are in the parcel cart is one of them.
- 1:03:41However, use your best judgement.
- 1:03:43If they're throwing a random flat here and there in there,
- 1:03:46don't don't all that in unscanned parcel.
- 1:03:49But we are required a minimum one inch flat casing and the
- 1:03:58definition of a parcel it's it cannot fit in the case.
- 1:04:04So if it's wider than one inch and it cannot fit in the case
- 1:04:08without damaging the article, it should be considered an
- 1:04:12unscanned parcel. But remember it is carrier
- 1:04:16discretion. Use your best judgment and
- 1:04:20always remember management has to prove you didn't have the
- 1:04:26unscanned parcel. You don't have to prove you had
- 1:04:29an unscanned parcel. And it does say in writing on
- 1:04:33this guide, and I will read it again, includes small parcels
- 1:04:41and boxes delivered to a mailbox or parcel locker.
- 1:04:45That was a bigger. Another big contention was
- 1:04:47management. Well, it's not an unscanned
- 1:04:49parcel if you're putting in the mailbox wrong.
- 1:04:53Eyeglasses. How many times do we see
- 1:04:55eyeglass packages that come in that don't have scans?
- 1:04:58That's a parcel. It's an obvious parcel.
- 1:05:02Something like that as well. Photos.
- 1:05:05Yeah, if you're photos. If it's something, yeah,
- 1:05:09exactly. I don't put if you have photos
- 1:05:13and you have a normal to smaller mailbox and I take those to the
- 1:05:17door because I am not, that is an unscanned parcel.
- 1:05:20If you have a big mailbox that it fits in, it's a flat, plain
- 1:05:24and simple. If you, if it wouldn't fit in
- 1:05:29your case, it should be an unscammed parcel per our own
- 1:05:34paperwork that we have on the union website on the definition
- 1:05:38of a parcel. So if you're going to bend that
- 1:05:41photo to put it in your case, it's an unscammed parcel.
- 1:05:45It doesn't matter the size of the mailbox.
- 1:05:47What matters is the definitions that we have in the paperwork.
- 1:05:51Well, if it's like me, I have I have 6 shelves in my case, so it
- 1:05:58wouldn't fit in a six shelf case without bending it and possibly
- 1:06:02damaging it. But somebody who has five or 4/4
- 1:06:06shelves may be able to fit it in their case.
- 1:06:10So again, it's carrier discretion.
- 1:06:15Yeah, it. Could be, it could be.
- 1:06:19And this was brought up too. I'm going to say if you have
- 1:06:23like a, a letter or a card that was sent at a parcel rate so it
- 1:06:31has a scan code on it. I've, you know, even the little
- 1:06:36envelopes for the priority or I've seen birthday cards come
- 1:06:41with scans on them and that barcode is unreadable for some
- 1:06:45reason. It got ripped, it got wet, it
- 1:06:47got smudged or whatever it is, but it was clear that it had a
- 1:06:51barcode at one time. You can't enter it in because
- 1:06:55you can't read it and it doesn't scan.
- 1:06:57Then yes, that would count as an unscanable parcel.
- 1:07:04My favorite argument was, you know when you're at the your
- 1:07:07case, you take a flat and I slide it in.
- 1:07:10Because I use the five shelf unit, I can slide it in, I can
- 1:07:14take a letter, I can slide it in.
- 1:07:16If I can't take this thing and slide it in with the same speed
- 1:07:19and efficiency that I do a letter or flat, if I have to
- 1:07:22manipulate that in any fashion it takes more time than the
- 1:07:26flatter letter, then that's an unscanned parcel.
- 1:07:31Use it at carrier discretion. Yeah.
- 1:07:34Does not include flats, letters, oversized flat, letters, flats
- 1:07:38or catalogs. U lions are another big
- 1:07:42contention on that as well. I I'm just going to say this is
- 1:07:48just what it reads in the black and white.
- 1:07:50Does not include flats, letters, oversized letters, flats or
- 1:07:54catalogs that may not that if they didn't have a barcode to
- 1:07:59begin with. Let's put it that way.
- 1:08:01Because I have seen catalogs come in with barcodes.
- 1:08:04I have seen letters come in with barcodes.
- 1:08:06I, you know it. Yeah.
- 1:08:10All right. We're going to move on from that
- 1:08:12one. I.
- 1:08:15Got to have a rest of the night. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:08:18We could all argue different points and everything else and.
- 1:08:23Anything. With a barcode on it is
- 1:08:25considered a parcel. So yeah I have businesses that
- 1:08:32get four to five U lines at once as well.
- 1:08:37Carry your pick up. Use carrier PU when performing a
- 1:08:43carrier pickup or accepting a prepaid parcel over 2 lbs.
- 1:08:50Enter the total number of parcels Containers picked up.
- 1:08:54Up to five parcels may be scanned under the hotkey O for
- 1:08:59prepaid for the prepaid acceptance scan.
- 1:09:03So O is the carrier pickup. You can scan up to five under
- 1:09:07that one if a manifest 5630 or the My PO pickup form is present
- 1:09:13or directed to scan all items accepted.
- 1:09:17Scan the barcodes using the prepaid acceptance on the from
- 1:09:22the on street menu which is letter H Also I had ADR tell us
- 1:09:31besides the 2 lbs priority as well as return service.
- 1:09:41So if it's somebody that's returning something that's also
- 1:09:45what I was told by an ADR. But you know in black and white
- 1:09:50me as £2 or more. I personally don't recall
- 1:09:55specifically the number of parcels I have by counting them
- 1:10:00by hand. So I scanned them with the
- 1:10:03carrier a prepaid acceptance to get the number of parcels I have
- 1:10:08and then that's the number I input into my carrier pickup.
- 1:10:12That way I know I have that many parcels.
- 1:10:15Plus it's an accountability thing for me to make sure my my
- 1:10:19customers are getting the best service.
- 1:10:21All parcels are scanned so they know that they've been picked up
- 1:10:24by me and if they're missing one or something like that they know
- 1:10:28hey, he didn't pick that parcel up so I must not have given it
- 1:10:31to him kind of thing. Also, if you have a scan sheet
- 1:10:37that the customer prints out because they have multiple
- 1:10:40packages and so they have them all linked under that one scan
- 1:10:44sheet to scan them all at once, scan the 1st 5 under the O and
- 1:10:50then you have to go back to the main menu to scan barcode to
- 1:10:53scan that that other sheet. OK, sales, we're almost done
- 1:11:04folks. We're getting there.
- 1:11:06Postage due customs, which I can say I honestly have never seen
- 1:11:10one of these when collecting or attempting to collect funds for
- 1:11:14customs duty tax from the customer.
- 1:11:18Self-explanatory really. Postage due short paid.
- 1:11:23Now these ones we have quite often in our office for some
- 1:11:27reason when collecting or attempting to collect funds for
- 1:11:31a postage due short paid mail from customer.
- 1:11:35This is not a customs duty tax collection.
- 1:11:38So somebody didn't pay enough postage, it got through the
- 1:11:43system, didn't get returned to sender, it comes down now on the
- 1:11:46person receiving it and yeah, you put it under the postage do.
- 1:11:52There's another one out there too, those people that ask for
- 1:11:57address service or change address notifications.
- 1:12:02You'll get a little card with a picture of the letter that they
- 1:12:07sent out with the change service requested on it and it will be
- 1:12:11like $0.90 that they owe the Postal Service for that service.
- 1:12:16That is a postage due short paid.
- 1:12:18Make sure you're inputting that in the scanner.
- 1:12:24Never saw one of those. I've had two this week.
- 1:12:30Well, they're supposed to actually be taken to the person
- 1:12:33that they're going to and you're supposed to collect that fee for
- 1:12:37the postage due and and invite the clerks that that is what
- 1:12:42it's for. All right.
- 1:12:45And then Rural Reach when engaging a customer to generate
- 1:12:50a lead for the Rural Reach program.
- 1:12:58They used to get paid for this under the mini mail survey.
- 1:13:01Everybody got the same credit for it.
- 1:13:04Now they want us to input leads into the scanner for the
- 1:13:10customer, the name, address, phone number, e-mail, all the
- 1:13:15pertinent information for them to actually reach out and do a
- 1:13:20sales lead. Now whether they actually do do
- 1:13:23that or not is up to question. I've heard both sides of it.
- 1:13:28I have submitted quite a few leads and I've actually gotten
- 1:13:32lead returns on them as well. And there is a lead book of
- 1:13:38Pearl Reach booklet out there you can get for the customers
- 1:13:42and you can fill out a card that's associated with that
- 1:13:44booklet so that you can actually get that lead as well.
- 1:13:51Good luck for a lot of people. I want to go back to the
- 1:13:54carrier, pick up one real quick because it happens, but it's not
- 1:13:59very often. The customer may generate a
- 1:14:03carrier pickup form for us to go.
- 1:14:06We get there, there's no packages to pick up.
- 1:14:08This could be one that's a standing one that they have
- 1:14:11every day, or it could be maybe they just decided that they
- 1:14:16after they generated that or received it, hey, they're
- 1:14:18heading into town. They just decided to drop the
- 1:14:21packages off at the office. We get there, there's no
- 1:14:24packages, but we have that form. Yes, you're still going to do
- 1:14:28the carrier pickup. You're just going to enter 0 in
- 1:14:31for the packages that just still let us know that we went through
- 1:14:35to attempt that pickup that we received the sheet for, but
- 1:14:38you're going to enter in zero under that carrier pickup.
- 1:14:42And make sure you hit no. Either Yes or no clears that
- 1:14:48pickup sheet from your manager's program.
- 1:14:50I just actually talked about this with my postmaster the
- 1:14:53other day. Whether you click yes or no, you
- 1:14:58have done your job with that sheet.
- 1:15:00Now if you click no you have to notate on that sheet Y and give
- 1:15:04it to your manager so that way they know why but make sure you
- 1:15:08do actually select yes or no. All right.
- 1:15:14The last one is stamp stock sales.
- 1:15:17When completing a sale of stamps while servicing the route, use
- 1:15:21only once per address per day. You sell a stamp, you sell a
- 1:15:26book of stamps. You sell a roll.
- 1:15:30You sell a roll, You sell postage of any type during your
- 1:15:34route. Use the stamp stock sale.
- 1:15:39You're picking up from Save the Amish and they give you cash do
- 1:15:43the postage handling. That cash for them is still a
- 1:15:48post stamp stock sale. Even if you are going back to
- 1:15:52the office on your end of shift duties, having the clerk figure
- 1:15:56out the postage and stuff like that, you are paid to bring that
- 1:15:59postage back. Bring the money back or take the
- 1:16:03change back to the customer. That is your only way to do
- 1:16:07that. And if you have to replenish
- 1:16:09your stamp stock, that is an end of shift duty and.
- 1:16:16What if? What if the homies pay you in
- 1:16:18butter or eggs? And you better have cash on you
- 1:16:23to pay for the for what you're getting from them.
- 1:16:28It takes 2 chickens to mail a quilt.
- 1:16:37So that is the RX Activities guide and scans.
- 1:16:45Some of them are left up to carrier discretion at this
- 1:16:49point, but that is the language. Now I am going to say again, any
- 1:16:56and all of the Rex information from the activity guide sheet to
- 1:17:03the Q&A to everything R Rex related, The comprehensive
- 1:17:09guide, I think I just said out of my mind is gone right now is
- 1:17:13all available on the Union website and it's right on the
- 1:17:18front page. You have R Rex resources, you
- 1:17:21have R Rex training. It's all right there.
- 1:17:26If you have management that is bugging you because, well, you
- 1:17:30could only have 5 minutes, 10 minutes of into shift duties,
- 1:17:33Nope, that's benchmarking. You have that in writing.
- 1:17:37All you have to do is get a copy of that and say, Nope, this says
- 1:17:42this. If they want to argue with it,
- 1:17:43well, there's another form for that as well.
- 1:17:49There's always a form for that. And I do believe there's a
- 1:17:51template for that form as well for when it comes to
- 1:17:54benchmarking. Yes, there is there.
- 1:17:56Yes. What do we say, Bill?
- 1:17:59File, file, file and smile. All right.
- 1:18:05What I want to talk about for all you leave replacements,
- 1:18:08newer, older, however long you've been here, you're a leave
- 1:18:13replacement. Your duty is to do these scans
- 1:18:19for every route, every piece of a route that you run.
- 1:18:23Even if you're taking a split and you're making multiple trips
- 1:18:27to the door on that split, your scanner's logged into that other
- 1:18:31route. You're still gonna date.
- 1:18:32I took three trips to that door for those 3 mattresses or
- 1:18:36whatever it is that it took you 3 trips to deliver to that door.
- 1:18:41Why? I'm saying this is as important
- 1:18:43as leave replacements and regular carriers alone, but re
- 1:18:49leave replacements too. Number one, for leave
- 1:18:52replacements that work under 40 hours a week, there are some out
- 1:18:56there and there are many that work more.
- 1:19:01This all calculates for evaluation.
- 1:19:04You're working under 40 hours, You're getting paid evaluation.
- 1:19:07That's your pay too. Also why it's important.
- 1:19:12If you had somebody that was close to retirement or is close
- 1:19:15to retirement, or they just don't care, they do the six
- 1:19:19that's required to do and that's all they do because they know
- 1:19:23they're getting out of there. Well, you know what?
- 1:19:25You're going to take that route over and that route may not be
- 1:19:30evaluated properly because these scans weren't done correctly
- 1:19:35every day, every time. That's why especially leave
- 1:19:40replacements. Get in the habit of doing it
- 1:19:42from the day you walk in the door.
- 1:19:45I know when I'm out was out training this week care, you
- 1:19:48know, he took two packages, 2 trips to the door for some
- 1:19:51packages. Every time he came back, I said,
- 1:19:53all right, now don't forget we're going to go back under the
- 1:19:56wrecks and we're going to hit trip to door and we're going to
- 1:19:58enter those in. How many trips you made?
- 1:20:02Anything like that right down when I'm training, I'm walking
- 1:20:05them through every single rec set scan that is applicable that
- 1:20:09day. So yes, it is very important
- 1:20:15this is this is the route evaluation.
- 1:20:18You know, some of those routes that may have tanked maybe
- 1:20:20because or keep going down, maybe because a carrier isn't
- 1:20:24doing it. It could be a carrier, it could
- 1:20:27be a route where a carrier is off that route for an extended
- 1:20:30prior time. So it is a leave replacement
- 1:20:32that's running that route every day.
- 1:20:34What's going to happen if that carrier, if that was a carrier
- 1:20:37who is busting their behind to make sure that their route was
- 1:20:40evaluated properly And unfortunately, maybe they got
- 1:20:44hurt on the job and they're out on OWCP and there's they're
- 1:20:48waiting to come back. And it may be an extended amount
- 1:20:52of time to where enough of this, It could be a year, it could be
- 1:20:55more. And if you're not doing those
- 1:20:57scans and that carrier comes back and that route dropped
- 1:21:01because you know they got it, you know it.
- 1:21:06Treat every route that you run as if it's your own route that
- 1:21:11you run every day like a regular carrier.
- 1:21:15You know, I was trained to do that.
- 1:21:17I and then I and I took that all the way through.
- 1:21:20It didn't matter what route I was running that day or what
- 1:21:23piece of a route on top of a route or on top of a route or
- 1:21:26whatever. I treated each one of those
- 1:21:29routes as if that was my very own route.
- 1:21:31Whether that came down to the customer service guarantee that
- 1:21:34the rec scans were done, that's the part of the job.
- 1:21:38Because as a leave replacement, you're going to be that next
- 1:21:42carrier to go. You know, you're eventually
- 1:21:44going to go full time if that's what you're looking to do and
- 1:21:47you want to make sure that you're doing everything
- 1:21:49correctly from the very first time out.
- 1:21:53Unfortunately, yes, you can lead a horse to water and you can't
- 1:21:55make them drink. And I agree, it drives me nuts
- 1:21:58as well, especially when it comes to this.
- 1:22:02And I know, I know, leave replacements.
- 1:22:04The biggest thing they want to do is just go home at the end of
- 1:22:07the day. And I know that they are work, a
- 1:22:11lot of them are working their backsides off just to get stuff
- 1:22:16done because we're so short staffed in so many places.
- 1:22:19You know, we have offices that don't even have leave
- 1:22:21replacements, you know, but we have to make sure we're doing
- 1:22:25everything we can to make sure we are maximizing the money not
- 1:22:29only for the regular carriers, but for the leave replacements
- 1:22:32too. You know what goes in here, goes
- 1:22:36in here. Which I thought of that.
- 1:22:42I had the image, so I had to pull it up.
- 1:22:44You know the scanner kind of thing.
- 1:22:46You know you. Don't just walk in the door, hit
- 1:22:48cut. You know and you don't as you're
- 1:22:50walking out, hit the clock in and the start load and load with
- 1:22:54barely a minute between the two and you whip them all out and
- 1:22:58there's like a 5 minutes difference from clocking the
- 1:23:01clock out. No, you don't do that.
- 1:23:04Do it properly, we're going to go.
- 1:23:08Over, we're going to go over an RCA specific episode coming up.
- 1:23:17We need to make sure our Rcas know what's really going on.
- 1:23:21And just like Made Arbitration has with CCA Corner, we won an
- 1:23:26RCA corner on this podcast. So if you're RCA that knows a
- 1:23:32little bit about the job, we're looking for your help.
- 1:23:36All right, leave replacement in general, this will fall under
- 1:23:39PTFS as well. I will stress if you are a leave
- 1:23:46replacement and you are a local steward, we're going to have to
- 1:23:50say no now. Plain and simple, we will not.
- 1:23:54Put you. In that position at all to lose
- 1:23:57that we we want you as a local steward, plain and simple.
- 1:24:02If you don't want to come up, but you want to e-mail us some
- 1:24:06info that you wish you would have learned at the beginning or
- 1:24:11some good advice, please e-mail us.
- 1:24:13We'll be happy to share that we won't mention names, locations.
- 1:24:18Oh, I will. I will not.
- 1:24:20You can. Message, message any of us if
- 1:24:23you want to help us and advise us on things that you see as a
- 1:24:26relief carrier that we may not know about what we appreciate
- 1:24:30that as well. I'm here to learn.
- 1:24:33I, I'm barely, just over a year out of being a leave
- 1:24:37replacement. So a lot of it is still fairly
- 1:24:40fresh with me. But at the same time it has
- 1:24:43been, I have been a regular for just over a year.
- 1:24:47So some of that does fall away, you know, and that's the one
- 1:24:51thing you know, And I, I tell all of them in my office, if you
- 1:24:54have any questions about anything, please ask, please
- 1:25:00ask. You know, I and as a, and as an
- 1:25:05RCA, I did experience a lot of things, almost every scenario,
- 1:25:10not quite everyone, but I, you know, I was one of those that
- 1:25:13worked one day a week and I worked seven days a week.
- 1:25:17I worked in an office that was fully staffed.
- 1:25:19I worked in an office where I was the only RCA.
- 1:25:23So, you know, I've experienced a lot of it, So I have a lot of my
- 1:25:29own I can put in there. But I want to hear from those
- 1:25:32that are out there now, whether it's a fully staffed office, a
- 1:25:37short staffed office, you know, somebody I hate.
- 1:25:40I really wish somebody would have taught me this when I first
- 1:25:43started or as I was coming up and learning or hey, you know,
- 1:25:47this is a great piece of advice that could be something totally
- 1:25:50different that none of us had experienced before.
- 1:25:53So definitely, I really, I mean, that was what I wanted to do in
- 1:25:57the beginning when I was still in RCA.
- 1:25:59I wanted to do more on the RCA experience and bring people in
- 1:26:05or at least communicate with us when it comes to that.
- 1:26:08And it kind of fell off the the wagon there.
- 1:26:11But we're bringing that back up and we'll definitely take all
- 1:26:19the leave replacements out there that want to assist, to assist.
- 1:26:22Like I said, whether it's by e-mail, direct message or, you
- 1:26:26know, coming on, as long as you're not a certified local
- 1:26:30steward or not a newly elected steward waiting for
- 1:26:34certification, we will not. Put you in.
- 1:26:38That position at all. And you don't even have to be on
- 1:26:42camera either if you're camera shy.
- 1:26:44No, we come on camera because we're not camera shy.
- 1:26:47You don't even have to use your real name if you don't want to.
- 1:26:51We won't. You know we won't.
- 1:26:53You don't have to give us your location.
- 1:26:55You know, it is all that. My biggest thing is I would
- 1:27:00rather keep you if you were one of those leave replacements
- 1:27:03again that has stepped up to be a steward in your office.
- 1:27:05I want you to keep that stewardship so I will not put
- 1:27:09you at risk on coming on the air.
- 1:27:14Agreed. OK.
- 1:27:19Was there anything else tonight, guys?
- 1:27:22No, because I'm getting ready to bail.
- 1:27:27Oh, he's getting that old man thing.
- 1:27:29Got to be in bed by 10. All.
- 1:27:31Right this head, this head cold is really whacked me.
- 1:27:34I got a pile of tissues here that yeah, you can see me dive
- 1:27:38off the screen because I'm sneezing and oh, it's just, it's
- 1:27:42nasty, you know all. Right, Bill, we'll let you do
- 1:27:44your closing comments first. OK, closing comments.
- 1:27:48OK, we got a little bit of weather here in Pennsylvania
- 1:27:51today. Thankfully, tomorrow's a holiday
- 1:27:54for y'all, so you know they get a chance for a reprieve.
- 1:27:58The only problem is you in Michigan, the temperatures are
- 1:28:03not going anywhere. We're we're looking at a high of
- 1:28:0717 and 18 with a feels like average of 10 below.
- 1:28:13So this stuff is not going anywhere any anytime soon.
- 1:28:17Be. Safe take your time.
- 1:28:19We just had a carrier in in our SC and C had an accident on a
- 1:28:23road at everybody else was travelling fine, but he hit a
- 1:28:26certain patch and you know, hey, gone, he's out of work for a
- 1:28:32while and you know, he's out on connection protocol per SE.
- 1:28:38Be safe out there. You know, in this weather, you
- 1:28:40know, it's not about keeping warm and frostbite and
- 1:28:43everything else. It's about building the road
- 1:28:46surface, you know, giving you extra distance and pay attention
- 1:28:50to the people behind you because they're the ones that always
- 1:28:53seem to tag you. You know, the guy who's falling
- 1:28:57too close too fast without any notifications.
- 1:29:00So drag your feet a little, let them pass you, whatever.
- 1:29:03But let's say take care of yourselves.
- 1:29:06I always tell you, and I mean it, you're the most important
- 1:29:09delivery of the day. Get home to your loved ones.
- 1:29:12Be safe, games. Yeah, as Bill said, it's going
- 1:29:17to get really cold out there. You know, there's a lot of
- 1:29:20places that the wind chills are going to be super negative down
- 1:29:24up places, maybe in 40-50 below wind chills.
- 1:29:28You know, the only places that aren't really going to be
- 1:29:31dealing with this deep cold are California, Hawaii, and Alaska.
- 1:29:36It's going to be warmer in Alaska than many places down
- 1:29:40here in the lower 48. So enjoy it, Alaskan carriers,
- 1:29:45enjoy it, but take care of yourself.
- 1:29:49Make sure you're putting everything you can into your
- 1:29:52scanner that you can back up yourself.
- 1:29:55You believe you deserve it, put it in the scanner.
- 1:30:00Because if you don't, you're saying you don't deserve that
- 1:30:03credit. You don't deserve that extra
- 1:30:06minute or 30 seconds or whatever that input gives.
- 1:30:10You want to make sure you're doing everything you can
- 1:30:14maximize your evaluation legitimately.
- 1:30:17This doesn't mean oh I got 5 packs of box holders, I'm going
- 1:30:21to input it five times to get the credit.
- 1:30:24You only need to input it once. And the other thing is if
- 1:30:28there's a barcode on that box holder, you scan the barcode to
- 1:30:32say you're delivering it. It tells the customer you
- 1:30:34delivered it. It doesn't give you credit.
- 1:30:37If you just scan the barcode. You still need to input it under
- 1:30:40the rec scan to make sure you're taking care of your evaluations.
- 1:30:45And if management starts trying to benchmark you or starts
- 1:30:49trying to tell you, hey, you got to limit your time on office
- 1:30:54duties or end of shift duties or anything like that, it's
- 1:30:58benchmarking, you can file a grievance.
- 1:31:02The only way management stops harassing us for the tasks that
- 1:31:06we're doing legitimately is if we stand up to show management.
- 1:31:12We're all in this together, Kristin.
- 1:31:15Thank you guys. Yes, definitely with the cold, I
- 1:31:19know Tuesday is going to be a long day for me.
- 1:31:22Tomorrow's going to be a cold one.
- 1:31:23I'm going to be traveling home. For those of you that are going
- 1:31:27to be attending SAC coming up soon and want a magnet key chain
- 1:31:34or button for the podcast. I will be meeting up with James
- 1:31:37tomorrow night or tomorrow, late morning, early afternoon with
- 1:31:43the bag of buttons that I happened to grab with me before
- 1:31:46I left the house. So I'll be meeting up with him
- 1:31:49to give those to him to take down to sack with him and
- 1:31:53anywhere else he may be going as well.
- 1:31:56I still have a few left with me, but he'll have the bulk of them.
- 1:32:00So you can get with him outside of the conference floor.
- 1:32:04OK. We don't do it while the
- 1:32:07conference is is going break time before, after, not while
- 1:32:14you're on the conference floor, plain and simple.
- 1:32:17Going to put that out there. So he'll have those for those
- 1:32:19that want. We got to be paying attention.
- 1:32:21Yes, find James at SAC for for your free goodies.
- 1:32:29So on that note guys, please stay safe out there this week.
- 1:32:33Take precautions for the cold. Remember, safety is your number
- 1:32:38one choice. When you leave that office for
- 1:32:41that route, make that attempt. If you are not feeling safe for
- 1:32:45whatever reason, that is your call.
- 1:32:47When you come back to the office, make sure you are
- 1:32:49filling out a 1767 to CYA because that's what you got to
- 1:32:55do to cover your behind, you know, dress in layers, hand
- 1:33:00warmers. I just ordered another pair of
- 1:33:03heated socks. So hopefully I'll those actually
- 1:33:07arrived in my house today. So I'll have those for Tuesday.
- 1:33:11But remember guys, you know, safety is your number one.
- 1:33:15Dress warm, dress in layers, drive with caution.
- 1:33:21If it's not safe, that's your call once you hit that street.
- 1:33:24So and that note, guys, we will be back next week and what are
- 1:33:29we going to do next week? Any idea?
- 1:33:33Or we'll just leave it random? We'll figure it out during the
- 1:33:36carriers. I got a carrier that's
- 1:33:39interested in us addressing pregnant carriers and their
- 1:33:43limited duties. And I'm going to be all set.
- 1:33:47Oh, that is next weekend. Isn't it?
- 1:33:49Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:33:51So maybe I'll get a opening day in as they're going through
- 1:33:57Saturday, Sunday and Monday at SAC, so I have a small report on
- 1:34:02Sunday for that. That'll be good.
- 1:34:04Yeah, James will be at SAC next weekend.
- 1:34:07So on that note and if anybody wants to join him, that's there.
- 1:34:12Again, please, no stewards with. That's all we ask.
- 1:34:15And yeah, but I'm sure, you know, if you ask nicely, he may
- 1:34:21let you join him to come on and say hi to everybody, even if
- 1:34:26it's just pre show, post show, whatever.
- 1:34:28You don't have to be on, but that'd be cool.
- 1:34:30But on the note guys. He's a really sick leash
- 1:34:34underneath his right arm here. OK guys, have a good.
- 1:34:40Week. Stay safe out there, stay warm,
- 1:34:43and we'll be back next week.
