0:00
Speaker 1: Wow, what's up everybody?
0:11
Speaker 2: Welcome to another edition of the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
0:14
Speaker 2: It's media man named g Marcus Grant, joined by Michael
0:17
Speaker 2: Florio and Lakwan Jones.
0:18
Speaker 3: Lakwan, Welcome to Week fourteen. Hey, let's go Week fourteen. Man,
0:23
Speaker 3: it's a very important game. It's the last regular season
0:25
Speaker 3: fantasy football, you know, season of regular game that I
0:29
Speaker 3: think that a lot of folks are going to be
0:31
Speaker 3: a little disappointed with some florio sits today.
0:34
Speaker 4: We'll get into the wow wow seem that seems personal.
0:38
Speaker 5: I know.
0:38
Speaker 6: I think it's because he's said that the MVP isn't
0:41
Speaker 6: playing football this week.
0:42
Speaker 4: That's That's what it comes down to.
0:44
Speaker 7: You know what, peak behind the curtain.
0:46
Speaker 3: Flora's been trying to get me to crash out the
0:48
Speaker 3: last couple of weeks. But we are clean. We are
0:50
Speaker 3: ten days clean.
0:52
Speaker 7: I don't think we need a peak behind the curtain.
0:54
Speaker 7: I think everyone knows. I've been trying to it's pretty.
0:58
Speaker 2: Much on roll, pretty much on front strad of what's
1:00
Speaker 2: been going on on this show for the last several weeks.
1:03
Speaker 7: We'll see.
1:04
Speaker 2: We got forty SOMEEID minutes to figure out what's going
1:06
Speaker 2: to have it on this show, But we do have
1:09
Speaker 2: starts and sits four week fourteen, plus some either or
1:12
Speaker 2: scenarios that have Fantasy playoff implications. Are bold predictions for
1:16
Speaker 2: the week and of our weekly visit with cam Wolf
1:18
Speaker 2: as well. But lets it started with some of those
1:21
Speaker 2: starts in sits and we'll see which ones Lakwan might
1:24
Speaker 2: have an issue with. So we'll start at the quarterback position.
1:28
Speaker 2: Who are your starts and your sits for the week?
1:30
Speaker 6: Only two names on the start side because the other
1:32
Speaker 6: guys were in TNF, but Patrick Mahomes and Jordan Love.
1:35
Speaker 6: I really like this matchup for Love because the Bears
1:38
Speaker 6: blitz at an above average rate and play man and
1:40
Speaker 6: Love has the best EPA against both of those. And
1:43
Speaker 6: in the six Lamar Jackson, We've spent a lot of
1:46
Speaker 6: time on different shows this week.
1:48
Speaker 7: I wrote a lot in the article.
1:49
Speaker 6: It's a little bit option dependent, but he's struggled against
1:52
Speaker 6: the Steelers in his career. I don't think he's fully healthy.
1:55
Speaker 6: He's coming off of legitimately his worst game as a pro,
1:58
Speaker 6: so that all is kind of working against and what's
2:00
Speaker 6: working for him is he's Lamar Jackson. Justin Herbert broken
2:03
Speaker 6: hand tough match against the Eagles on a Monday night.
2:06
Speaker 6: It's just too risky for me. And he's been trending downward.
2:09
Speaker 6: Daniel Jones has been trending down He's dealing with this
2:11
Speaker 6: foot issue. The Jackson have been getting a lot of
2:14
Speaker 6: pressure as of late. Caleb we spoke a lot about
2:16
Speaker 6: this week. His floor is a league losing floor and
2:19
Speaker 6: the Packers have been tough against the pass as of late.
2:21
Speaker 6: And then Jaden if he does play it as his
2:23
Speaker 6: first game back from a dislocated elbow, there's a theme
2:26
Speaker 6: on the sit side right, like four of the five
2:28
Speaker 6: of these guys not healthy.
2:30
Speaker 2: Yeah, that seems to be kind of an important thing,
2:32
Speaker 2: especially this late in the season. Come, I want to
2:35
Speaker 2: ask you about Tho lakwan one. Caleb Williams, who has
2:39
Speaker 2: been good in the good matchups, not so good in
2:41
Speaker 2: the bad matchups. This feels like a bad matchup and
2:44
Speaker 2: it also feels like it's going to be stupid cold
2:47
Speaker 2: in Green Bay.
2:48
Speaker 6: It's going to be.
2:49
Speaker 3: Brick is going to be disrespectfully cold. I would say
2:53
Speaker 3: this though, like Caleb for me has QB two expectations.
2:57
Speaker 3: Now while we're looking at those floors at Florio's talking about.
2:59
Speaker 3: It's been consistent these last couple of weeks, man, And
3:01
Speaker 3: when it comes to the passing game, they really relied
3:04
Speaker 3: on this running game really getting them out of trouble.
3:06
Speaker 3: And like, I think, folks in a very important week
3:09
Speaker 3: should not get cute this week with Caleb. I know
3:11
Speaker 3: you guys have other options. I know guys that are
3:13
Speaker 3: in super flex guys, and guys are in super flex
3:16
Speaker 3: leagues are probably thinking about him as an option. Just
3:19
Speaker 3: have your expectations in order. More so as a QB too,
3:22
Speaker 3: because when we look at this Packers defense as well,
3:24
Speaker 3: they're one of the best defense to shut down those
3:27
Speaker 3: scramble quarterbacks. So he's even going to have trouble trying
3:29
Speaker 3: to get out of the pocket and getting up field
3:31
Speaker 3: because the Packers defense, they've been bringing it all season long.
3:35
Speaker 2: You mentioned super flex leagues, and I think this is
3:37
Speaker 2: an interesting time of year right Florida, because you've got
3:40
Speaker 2: matchups like this that are necessarily aren't good ones.
3:44
Speaker 4: I feel like we get.
3:45
Speaker 2: Into these super flex mentality where we have to start
3:47
Speaker 2: a quarterback and maybe this is a week where maybe
3:50
Speaker 2: you've got another wide receiver or running back on your bench.
3:53
Speaker 4: It could be a better option.
3:54
Speaker 6: Yeah, it would always depend on what that other option is.
3:58
Speaker 6: But yeah, like Halob, his floor we talked about is
4:01
Speaker 6: like nine to eleven points or something like that, nine
4:04
Speaker 6: to twelve in that range. The ceiling we've seen is
4:07
Speaker 6: twenty five plus. But the Packers are, like you said,
4:10
Speaker 6: tough matchup. Uh, they've been much better against the pass
4:13
Speaker 6: in the run the last month, and then it's gonna
4:15
Speaker 6: be cold. He's strug Like when your head coach says
4:18
Speaker 6: we're winning in spite of the passing game, that is
4:21
Speaker 6: a problem. Uh one for you guys real quick. Like,
4:24
Speaker 6: I have a lead where my other quarterback besides Caleb
4:27
Speaker 6: is pretty obviously on by. Would you play like Tyrod
4:30
Speaker 6: Taylor over Caleb this week?
4:32
Speaker 1: Yeah?
4:32
Speaker 4: I might. I might.
4:34
Speaker 7: I like that.
4:35
Speaker 3: I like even the where we can iron now. I
4:38
Speaker 3: like Chris o' lobby this week over Caleb Williams. Like
4:40
Speaker 3: those eleven points twelve points to the floor, and we
4:42
Speaker 3: talk about I like Chris o' lobby. I mean the
4:44
Speaker 3: og of the satchels.
4:45
Speaker 2: He's free of the satchel now he's just in lineups
4:49
Speaker 2: and stuff.
4:49
Speaker 7: No longer there he's free. So does that mean Caleb's
4:53
Speaker 7: in the satchel.
4:55
Speaker 3: I mean Caleb, he's peaking in, he's seeing there's room
4:58
Speaker 3: in there. But I think he's good. I think you
5:00
Speaker 3: there be two expectations is what I have on this game.
5:02
Speaker 3: Gay Hopefully he can go out there and surprise them.
5:04
Speaker 2: Folks, I gotta ask you because you're wearing You're wearing
5:06
Speaker 2: you're that kid's shirt, right, which is.
5:07
Speaker 7: In honor of Jade and Daniels.
5:10
Speaker 2: If he does start, we're not sure what his situation
5:13
Speaker 2: is as we're doing this show.
5:14
Speaker 4: Would you throw him in a lineup against the Vikings?
5:18
Speaker 3: So I'm wearing the shirt because I do want to
5:20
Speaker 3: see the return of Jaden Daniels. But the thing is
5:22
Speaker 3: I'm rooting for her more so in real life football
5:25
Speaker 3: rather than where my fantasy expectations are kind of low,
5:28
Speaker 3: like I we talked about this on yesterday show, Like
5:31
Speaker 3: my expectations are around that sixteen fancy points or less.
5:34
Speaker 3: Like I'm not looking for QB one Jayden Dames this week,
5:37
Speaker 3: and I don't think I can risk that, especially if
5:40
Speaker 3: I'm one of those teams that are fighting to get
5:41
Speaker 3: into the playoffs or this game. If I lose it,
5:44
Speaker 3: then I'm out of the playoffs, Like, this is a
5:46
Speaker 3: very important week that I don't think we try to
5:48
Speaker 3: get cute with quarterbacks that are dealing with injuries. That's
5:50
Speaker 3: why Lamar is sitting, That's why Justin Herbert is sitting.
5:53
Speaker 6: Good job, Florio, I will say I agree with because,
5:56
Speaker 6: like you guys know, I love Jayden and I'm rooting
5:59
Speaker 6: for him, but I think he's gonna run a lot
6:01
Speaker 6: less because if you're the commanders, why are you going
6:03
Speaker 6: to ask him to run? Coming off of this he
6:06
Speaker 6: has yet to throw two hundred and forty yards in
6:07
Speaker 6: a game this year. Like the running is what makes
6:09
Speaker 6: him so special for fantasy.
6:11
Speaker 4: Yeah.
6:12
Speaker 2: So, and again, let this be a reminder, it's a
6:14
Speaker 2: super flex league. It's not a two quarterback league. You
6:16
Speaker 2: can put another player in there if you think that
6:19
Speaker 2: player has a better outcome, outlook than the quarterback that
6:22
Speaker 2: you're trying to start. Let's move over to running backs,
6:25
Speaker 2: cause it's an interesting week for running backs, both on
6:28
Speaker 2: the good and bad side.
6:29
Speaker 4: So who are you starting? Who are you sitting?
6:31
Speaker 6: Look, I'm wearing a Bills Queen's hoodie right now, but
6:33
Speaker 6: I'm not stupid like you play running backs against the
6:36
Speaker 6: bills like that's one hundred percent of thing Chase Brown
6:39
Speaker 6: must play. I think what Shawn Jenkins is a must
6:41
Speaker 6: play this week. Game script should be on his side.
6:43
Speaker 6: He's the safest bet, or one of the safest bets
6:46
Speaker 6: of RB twos, the least for volume, and this wildcat
6:49
Speaker 6: usage hear the goal line really helps elevate him.
6:53
Speaker 7: RJ.
6:53
Speaker 6: Harvey, I think is also a really strong play this
6:56
Speaker 6: week in a game where game script should be on
6:58
Speaker 6: his side.
6:59
Speaker 7: And then with them a nung guy. Originally I was like,
7:01
Speaker 7: are do these guys do? I make them sits?
7:04
Speaker 6: But the Packers have really struggled against the run since
7:07
Speaker 6: week nine, so I think that keeps those guys in play,
7:10
Speaker 6: and for Swift if they're trailing, he could get targets
7:14
Speaker 6: since look, Woody Marx has taken over that backfield, but
7:16
Speaker 6: it has not translated to success for fantasy. They're not
7:19
Speaker 6: throwing him a bunch of passes and the Chiefs are
7:22
Speaker 6: a tough run defense. But I think you said the
7:24
Speaker 6: Chiefs running backs as well. With Pacheco back, he's not
7:27
Speaker 6: seeing enough work to start, but he is eating into
7:30
Speaker 6: Cream Hunt's workload a little bit.
7:32
Speaker 7: We don't know if drey Benson is coming back this
7:33
Speaker 7: week or ever.
7:34
Speaker 6: But I don't care which Cardinals running back it is.
7:37
Speaker 6: It's the Rams defense. Shout out to you guys, LQ.
7:40
Speaker 6: And then same thing with Tony Poller, like he doesn't
7:42
Speaker 6: see in a volume now with Spears there, but even
7:45
Speaker 6: so they're playing the Browns like, just get away.
7:47
Speaker 2: Free tay Jay Spears. I mean maybe not this week,
7:49
Speaker 2: but just in general, free tai Ja Spears, lakwan, you
7:52
Speaker 2: know over in this corner of the stage, it's fight
7:55
Speaker 2: on forever. And I love what he marks, but there's
7:58
Speaker 2: zero chance. There's zero chance starting he was waiting, you said,
8:02
Speaker 2: like lost, so you can't do that. Now there's no
8:06
Speaker 2: chance of starting winning marks this week? Though?
8:08
Speaker 3: Is there no Like is there something wrong with his hands?
8:12
Speaker 3: Like why is he not catching the ball?
8:13
Speaker 2: They're not throwing him the ball? Just three targets in
8:16
Speaker 2: his last three games, Like that's the problem. Like when
8:19
Speaker 2: we look at his college career, this is a guy
8:21
Speaker 2: that was getting plenty of targets, fifty three receptions per
8:24
Speaker 2: season at Mississippi State the three years he was there,
8:27
Speaker 2: and the last year he was at USC he had
8:28
Speaker 2: forty seven catches for over fourteen hundred yards, Like I'm
8:31
Speaker 2: looking at this like there's something wrong. Why are we
8:34
Speaker 2: not utilizing like that? And when we look at the
8:36
Speaker 2: last four games and efficiency, it's getting less than three
8:39
Speaker 2: and a half yards per carry. But then when we
8:41
Speaker 2: look over at Nick Chubb with twenty three carries, this
8:43
Speaker 2: guy's over five yards per carry. And I'm telling you now,
8:46
Speaker 2: I don't think that what he Mark's usage is really
8:49
Speaker 2: stable right now, like heading into the Fantasy playoffs, I
8:52
Speaker 2: can't trust him at all because look at the last
8:54
Speaker 2: couple of weeks where the matchups he's had I've talked
8:57
Speaker 2: about when he went against Baltimore, that was the matchup
9:00
Speaker 2: for him to catch a bunch of passes we didn't
9:01
Speaker 2: get that didn't do much against the Bill, So it's like,
9:04
Speaker 2: what do we do with what he march moving forward?
9:06
Speaker 2: So he's a sit for rest of the season. For me,
9:08
Speaker 2: it just feels some of it is on Marks, right,
9:12
Speaker 2: he hasn't been super efficient. He's averaging less than three
9:14
Speaker 2: and a half yards per carry over the last few weeks.
9:17
Speaker 2: But some of it is just the usage right that
9:19
Speaker 2: Nick Chubb's still getting about a quarter of the snaps,
9:22
Speaker 2: about a quarter of the carries. It just feels like
9:24
Speaker 2: a bad situation in a Florio mentioned is just not
9:26
Speaker 2: a good matchup for running backs going against the Kansas
9:30
Speaker 2: City Chiefs and this one, Bloy you did mention DeAndre
9:33
Speaker 2: Swift and kyleman Ungai as starts this week. No worry
9:37
Speaker 2: about the Packers run defense.
9:39
Speaker 6: So I originally I really was, But then when I
9:43
Speaker 6: started digging into the numbers a little bit, what I
9:46
Speaker 6: do when I'm doing this this late in the year
9:49
Speaker 6: is I look at the season totals, but then I
9:51
Speaker 6: also look at the last five weeks, so that every
9:53
Speaker 6: team in that span has at least four games. I
9:56
Speaker 6: think that's a little bit of a sample size to
9:58
Speaker 6: be like, this is how they've been trending recently and
10:00
Speaker 6: in that span, fifth most rushing yards, five touchdowns in
10:05
Speaker 6: that five week span, and they're allowing the fifth most
10:07
Speaker 6: yards before contact. And I'm expecting the Bears to try
10:11
Speaker 6: to run the ball as much as they can in
10:13
Speaker 6: these cold weather games. So I think manung Guy is
10:16
Speaker 6: more of a flex option. But because if the Bears
10:19
Speaker 6: are trailing, we know Swift will get targets as well.
10:21
Speaker 6: I do think that keeps him in as an RB two.
10:23
Speaker 6: All right, so look and they have run the ball
10:25
Speaker 6: really well. We said this before, since their bye week,
10:27
Speaker 6: they've run the ball really well.
10:28
Speaker 7: Do we have a name?
10:29
Speaker 3: Do we have a name yet?
10:30
Speaker 2: Like? No, because we you know, like it can't be
10:33
Speaker 2: Sonic and Knuckles. That's already taken. I mean like Smashing
10:36
Speaker 2: da Smash and Dash was the Titans with you know,
10:39
Speaker 2: I can't do that.
10:40
Speaker 7: How about how about this?
10:41
Speaker 3: How about the swift punishment because we look at Manungay
10:45
Speaker 3: as the hammer, swift is so swift agile due to
10:48
Speaker 3: tackles swift punishment.
10:49
Speaker 2: Yes, no, I think it's I think we're I think
10:51
Speaker 2: I think we can refine it. But I think we're
10:53
Speaker 2: onto something. I think I think it's a good start, right.
10:55
Speaker 2: I think we can put our heads together and it
10:57
Speaker 2: kind of I look at them as a wrestling team.
10:59
Speaker 2: Let's change it Uplet's get away from Sonic and Knuckles.
11:01
Speaker 2: Let's make them a tag team. Let's talk some WWE man.
11:04
Speaker 4: I think we're on the something.
11:05
Speaker 6: Honestly, there's a there's a big storyline there with like
11:08
Speaker 6: Ben Johnson going heel and then like creating his own
11:10
Speaker 6: faction to come back.
11:12
Speaker 3: Like yeah, I like, oh, the visionary.
11:15
Speaker 7: Wow, look where we're going with that.
11:18
Speaker 2: Okay, Taking a look at the Sunday night game between
11:22
Speaker 2: the Texans and the Chiefs, and the first to score
11:26
Speaker 2: odds long to Rashi Rice at least the best odds due,
11:29
Speaker 2: followed by Kareem Hunt. Then we got Woody Marks, Nico Collins,
11:33
Speaker 2: and then Travis Kelce rounding out the top five.
11:36
Speaker 5: Here.
11:37
Speaker 4: As you look at this list, Florio.
11:39
Speaker 2: Anybody you'd like to choose from this list or would
11:41
Speaker 2: you like to maybe go off menu?
11:43
Speaker 6: No, I'm gonna stay off very much so on menu,
11:45
Speaker 6: I'm gonna go with the Lois odds there and give
11:48
Speaker 6: me Rashi Rice. Because he could do it through the air,
11:50
Speaker 6: he do through the ground. They generate touches for him,
11:53
Speaker 6: especially in the red zone. He is a top three
11:57
Speaker 6: fantasy water receiver. I've seen people make in the case
11:59
Speaker 6: of he is the wide receiver one. Not sure if
12:02
Speaker 6: I'm there yet, but he's top three for sure.
12:03
Speaker 2: I think in terms of the way the Chiefs use him,
12:05
Speaker 2: I think that argument stands. I mean, we're just looking
12:07
Speaker 2: at straight up talent and ability.
12:09
Speaker 6: Yeah, I still I mean, jay Is Sen is still
12:11
Speaker 6: doing his things.
12:12
Speaker 4: He's still doing his thing still, Puka.
12:14
Speaker 2: Anybody you had to say Pooka because we don't need
12:16
Speaker 2: to better put him in there. I said, we don't
12:17
Speaker 2: need a better was there was there somebody there that
12:19
Speaker 2: you like? Kind of that group, We all just said
12:21
Speaker 2: what he marks is a set, So I guess we're
12:23
Speaker 2: not going what he marks there.
12:24
Speaker 4: Lookuan, I like.
12:25
Speaker 3: Nico Collins in there. I like Nico Collins being an
12:28
Speaker 3: option to find a touchdown and put us some big points.
12:30
Speaker 3: I think this is the secondary that you can challenge.
12:32
Speaker 3: We know you can't run the ball in the Chiefs,
12:34
Speaker 3: but you can definitely go out there and challenge that secondary.
12:36
Speaker 3: So we're hoping for a Nico Collins, you know, strong game,
12:39
Speaker 3: and maybe c J. Stroud bounces back as well.
12:42
Speaker 2: Maybe I just look a little more into that game. Obviously,
12:44
Speaker 2: Patrick Mahomes having a rebound fantasy season after the last
12:48
Speaker 2: couple of years sort of being underwhelming. We know how
12:51
Speaker 2: good that Houston defense is, though, LQ, can you trust
12:54
Speaker 2: Mahomes in fantasy this week?
12:57
Speaker 3: I think you can because we got to look at
12:59
Speaker 3: Mahomes from the real life lens. Now, this is a
13:01
Speaker 3: quarterback that is probably the best quarterback that the Texans
13:04
Speaker 3: have faced in the last couple of weeks, and that
13:06
Speaker 3: does include Josh Allen Florio. His turnovers have been nasty,
13:10
Speaker 3: making the Texans look good. But I would say this,
13:12
Speaker 3: I think Mahomes is a little bit more savvy in
13:14
Speaker 3: the pocket than Josh Allen. Josh Allen likes to play
13:16
Speaker 3: the hero. That's why he got sack eight times. I
13:19
Speaker 3: think Mahomes is going to use his legs and lie
13:20
Speaker 3: extending plays getting out of the pocket. So we're going
13:23
Speaker 3: to get that nice little upward ceiling with the foot
13:26
Speaker 3: rushing upside with Mahomes as well, and then we know
13:28
Speaker 3: it's this guy makes magic Man against the difficult, difficult defenses.
13:32
Speaker 3: This is a tenth seed team right now trying to
13:35
Speaker 3: fright their way into the playoffs. So yeah, load up Mahomes.
13:37
Speaker 2: Which is a wild thing to say, right because every
13:40
Speaker 2: year that Patrick Mahomes has been a starter, they've at
13:43
Speaker 2: least gone to the AFC Championship Game. So the fact
13:46
Speaker 2: that they are fighting for their playoff lives sort of
13:48
Speaker 2: uncharted territory. I mean, look, I know if there's a
13:50
Speaker 2: large section there's a large section of America that's not
13:53
Speaker 2: prying any tiers for the Kansas City Chiefs just the weird.
13:56
Speaker 4: Spot to be in Slayer.
13:58
Speaker 2: I look at this game and I think either there's
13:59
Speaker 2: going be like few points scored or all of the
14:02
Speaker 2: points scored.
14:03
Speaker 4: Like which way are you leaning on that?
14:05
Speaker 6: I actually kind of think it's gonna be somewhere in
14:07
Speaker 6: between there. But if I had to pick, I think
14:09
Speaker 6: it's gonna be lower. I do think Mahomes is gonna
14:12
Speaker 6: use his legs a lot. He leads all quarterbacks and
14:14
Speaker 6: explosive runs this year, so that that's kind of and
14:17
Speaker 6: the Texans weakness has been running quarterbacks, so that's kind
14:20
Speaker 6: of why I do like him there. But yeah, outside
14:23
Speaker 6: of Nico Collins, Rice and Mahomes, I don't think there's
14:27
Speaker 6: another must start in this game. You probably have to
14:29
Speaker 6: start Kelsey because of tight end, but like he's not
14:32
Speaker 6: a must start.
14:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess the good news for the Chiefs is
14:35
Speaker 2: that it is Patrick Mahomes is no longer leading the
14:38
Speaker 2: team in rushing.
14:39
Speaker 4: It's been that way for a few weeks now. It's
14:41
Speaker 4: been a way for a few weeks now. But you know,
14:43
Speaker 4: I think if you're the chief you feel slightly better.
14:45
Speaker 2: You'd feel better though, if you know your leading rusher
14:48
Speaker 2: had more than three hundred and fifty three yards heading
14:51
Speaker 2: into week fourteen. When we come back, we will dive
14:53
Speaker 2: into the Monday Night football game we've played right.
14:56
Speaker 7: Next door so Fi Stadium.
14:58
Speaker 2: Can we trust Justin Herbert the other He's got a
15:00
Speaker 2: bionic left hand. We'll talk about that and more on
15:02
Speaker 2: the NFL Fantasy Football show.
15:08
Speaker 3: Monday Night Football.
15:11
Speaker 2: Coming up this week. It is the Eagles and the Chargers.
15:14
Speaker 2: He played right over there, right over there at the
15:18
Speaker 2: Sofi Stadium's gonna say right on the other side of
15:20
Speaker 2: the wall, but that's not completely accurate because that would
15:22
Speaker 2: be annoying for everybody involved.
15:24
Speaker 3: I thought there was a forty winers joke in there.
15:26
Speaker 3: I thought you were trying it. But it's okay, we're
15:28
Speaker 3: ten days clean.
15:29
Speaker 2: I thought, God, why would I even bring up the
15:32
Speaker 2: forty nine ers they're gonna buy this week?
15:34
Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna misname Sofi Stadium. It's fine,
15:37
Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna.
15:38
Speaker 2: I mean, somebody is really sensitive about their stadium being
15:41
Speaker 2: named after a financial services company. That sounds a little
15:43
Speaker 2: bit like a couch.
15:44
Speaker 6: Who wait, wait, wait, question for you guys. Who stars
15:47
Speaker 6: in the so Far commercials. Oh, who does? It's not
15:51
Speaker 6: Matthew Staff, It's the.
15:54
Speaker 7: Reigning defending MVP.
15:57
Speaker 3: He's too busy. Come on, he's in the ball in
16:00
Speaker 3: time chamber getting his back ready. Anyway, Monday eight to
16:03
Speaker 3: fifteen pm Eastern.
16:04
Speaker 7: You can see it on.
16:05
Speaker 4: ESPN, ABC and ABC.
16:07
Speaker 7: The port is.
16:09
Speaker 2: It has not been a great year for Saquon Barkley
16:12
Speaker 2: and I think we all kind of talked about this
16:13
Speaker 2: before the season, right, We expected to come down after
16:15
Speaker 2: the huge year last year. But he has not scored
16:18
Speaker 2: a touchdown Florio since Week eight? Wild Wild Wow. Do
16:22
Speaker 2: we think he finds the m zone this week against
16:24
Speaker 2: the Chargers?
16:25
Speaker 7: I do.
16:25
Speaker 6: I'm not sure if it's gonna be a goal on
16:27
Speaker 6: one because a friend of the show, Ian Hard, It's
16:29
Speaker 6: put out some statsus today. Saquon has been bad near
16:33
Speaker 6: the goal line this year, like negative rushing yards bad.
16:37
Speaker 6: But the Chargers have allowed explosive runs at one of
16:41
Speaker 6: the highest rate in the NFL. They for as good
16:44
Speaker 6: as their defense is against the pass, they are a
16:48
Speaker 6: unit that you can run on for sure. So I
16:50
Speaker 6: think Saquon breaks one in this game. And if you
16:53
Speaker 6: have Saquon, I think this is just a start they
16:56
Speaker 6: get the Raiders, the Commanders, the Bills in the Fantasy playoffs.
17:00
Speaker 6: I know he has not lived up to expectations. It
17:01
Speaker 6: has been disappointing all of that. The next four weeks
17:04
Speaker 6: he has a chance to just completely erase that and
17:06
Speaker 6: lead a lot of you to championships. And that schedule
17:09
Speaker 6: could not be any better.
17:10
Speaker 2: But so wild because last year we were all upset
17:12
Speaker 2: like they're doing the toush pushing or taking touchdowns away
17:14
Speaker 2: from Saquon.
17:15
Speaker 4: Maybe they knew maybe much.
17:18
Speaker 2: This year they're not even doing it as they're not
17:20
Speaker 2: tousch pushing as much this year when they have lately,
17:22
Speaker 2: it's not working out quite as well.
17:23
Speaker 4: As it used to.
17:24
Speaker 2: Like, all right, l Q, what do you expect from
17:27
Speaker 2: Saquon Barkley against the Chargers. Do you think Saquon finds
17:31
Speaker 2: the painted area this week?
17:34
Speaker 3: No, he's been terrible in short artist situation. I don't
17:37
Speaker 3: see it happening. I do think honestly, Like if he
17:39
Speaker 3: sneaks in, it will probably be like a fake tush push.
17:43
Speaker 3: I'm gonna call it now, it'd be a fake Toush
17:45
Speaker 3: push and then Saquon rolls out of the side because
17:47
Speaker 3: of the fumbles that Jalen Hurst has had in these
17:49
Speaker 3: touch pushes. They're going to try to switch it up.
17:52
Speaker 2: See, I don't think I think if he scores, I
17:53
Speaker 2: don't think it's a short yardage touchdown. I think it's like,
17:56
Speaker 2: you know, a broken tackle here there, Maybe I missed
17:58
Speaker 2: assignment and he runs well.
18:00
Speaker 3: The Chargers have a high mistackle rate, so I can
18:03
Speaker 3: see that. I could see that he can.
18:05
Speaker 2: Break one from like thirty yards out or something like that.
18:08
Speaker 2: Like I could see that happening for Saquon this week.
18:10
Speaker 4: So we'll see.
18:11
Speaker 2: On the other side, we saw the starts and sins
18:13
Speaker 2: that Florida was sort of out on Justin Herbert. He
18:16
Speaker 2: did have successful surgery. Again, I'm waiting for the first
18:18
Speaker 2: time eight teamer players like, yeah, no, they screwed that
18:21
Speaker 2: up and now I only have three fingers. Would you
18:24
Speaker 2: Lakwan risk starting Justin Herbert against the Eagles on Monday Night?
18:30
Speaker 3: No, just look at his last two games. He had
18:32
Speaker 3: eighty one passing yards before the buy one hundred and
18:34
Speaker 3: fifty one after the Buyo injury. Now Monday night football,
18:37
Speaker 3: Absolutely not. I think you look at other options. I
18:40
Speaker 3: honestly think the last couple of weeks you are already
18:42
Speaker 3: kind of planning ahead because Justin Herbert has had some
18:45
Speaker 3: scary floors, Like you know the floors that I'm talking about, Marcus.
18:48
Speaker 3: We're talking about cockroaches, crack tiles, and pizza from three
18:51
Speaker 3: months ago over there in the corner on the floor
18:53
Speaker 3: type Justin Herbert. These last couple of weeks, it's not
18:56
Speaker 3: looking good moving forward into the fantasy playoffs. So again,
18:59
Speaker 3: there's options out there, like a Bryce Shong. There's options
19:01
Speaker 3: out there like a William Trevor mid Lawrence. You can
19:04
Speaker 3: have different quarterbacks to step in for Justin Herbert right now,
19:07
Speaker 3: who is banged up. Why even try to get cute
19:09
Speaker 3: in one of the most important weeks of fantasy.
19:12
Speaker 2: William Trevor mid lawns Like you went deep on that one.
19:15
Speaker 2: You've used all of the names.
19:17
Speaker 4: That's his name. It's his name, man, pretty sure his
19:20
Speaker 4: mama don't call him mid. That's just you.
19:23
Speaker 6: Gotta get pro football reference to put for me to
19:27
Speaker 6: put Mid up there, that would be great.
19:29
Speaker 2: So Donna get back into these starts and sins, which,
19:32
Speaker 2: of course, as I always mentioned, you can find on
19:35
Speaker 2: the interwebsite NFL dot com slash starts. It listen to
19:37
Speaker 2: some wide receivers starts and sets, and uh, I appreciate
19:41
Speaker 2: you going against the grain of what the general fantasy
19:44
Speaker 2: community is.
19:45
Speaker 4: Talking about with your starts at wide receiver.
19:47
Speaker 6: Yes, it was something I thought along and hard about
19:50
Speaker 6: this week. But I know a lot of people are
19:51
Speaker 6: getting off the Justin Jefferson train, and I understand why.
19:54
Speaker 7: But I think a squeaky Wheel game is coming.
19:57
Speaker 6: I think they're going to look to get him involved
19:59
Speaker 6: early and off and it is a fantastic matchup against
20:02
Speaker 6: the Commanders. I think this is a game where they're
20:04
Speaker 6: gonna thrown the ball ten fifteen times something like that.
20:07
Speaker 6: Christian Watson, to me, is a very strong start this week.
20:11
Speaker 6: He's been their top go to guy since the Tucker
20:13
Speaker 6: Craft injury. He can win downfield, he could win out wide,
20:16
Speaker 6: and the Bears struggle against each of those and.
20:18
Speaker 7: Then a mecha Abuka.
20:20
Speaker 6: I think a lot of the struggles are on Baker,
20:21
Speaker 6: not on him. But the Saints have allowed seventy three
20:25
Speaker 6: percent of the out wide passes in the last month
20:28
Speaker 6: to be completed. If they're allowing a high completion percentage,
20:31
Speaker 6: that is a good thing for a mecha Buka because
20:33
Speaker 6: he's getting open. They've just been struggling to connect on it.
20:36
Speaker 6: And then I think the six dk metcalf he's averaging
20:39
Speaker 6: six targets per game since week eight. There's one deep
20:43
Speaker 6: catch in that period, like one touchdown. It's just all
20:46
Speaker 6: gone bad for DK Roma Dunesday's falloff needs to be
20:49
Speaker 6: talked about more because it has been pretty dramatic. DJ Moore,
20:54
Speaker 6: I think is just a straight sit at this point.
20:56
Speaker 6: Brian Thomas Junior returned last week. If you didn't watch
20:59
Speaker 6: that game, you probably wouldn't have known that he really
21:01
Speaker 6: didn't do a whole lot. And then Xavier Worthy like
21:05
Speaker 6: he's read a floor play and now he's getting the
21:07
Speaker 6: toughest matchup or one of the toughest matchups to throw
21:10
Speaker 6: the deep ball against.
21:11
Speaker 2: One quick note to Robodunes did not practice on Thursday,
21:15
Speaker 2: So that's something to just kind of pay attention to
21:17
Speaker 2: as we get a little bit closer to Sunday.
21:20
Speaker 4: All right, mkwan justin Jefferson ready, fight.
21:26
Speaker 7: Listen.
21:27
Speaker 3: I cannot trust this man, and I understand on paper
21:30
Speaker 3: this matchup looks incredible, right. A squeaky wheel game, a
21:34
Speaker 3: force fed game, situational targets, whatever you want to call it, right.
21:38
Speaker 3: I just don't trust the quarterback play right now to
21:40
Speaker 3: even elevate Justin Jefferson to be in flex conversations, Like
21:44
Speaker 3: we went into it on yesterday's episode right where we
21:47
Speaker 3: were talking about Devon Valley having more Fantasy points than
21:51
Speaker 3: Justin Jefferson in the last four games. They were looking
21:53
Speaker 3: at guys like Ty Johnson, a third string running back
21:57
Speaker 3: for the Buffalo Bills, having more Fantasy points than Justin Jefferson.
22:01
Speaker 3: There's nothing that is getting anywhere near of Justin Jefferson
22:05
Speaker 3: in my flex option as he started this week, even
22:08
Speaker 3: with the matchup. I just cannot trust it, cannot do
22:11
Speaker 3: it this week. I'm going with other options.
22:13
Speaker 2: What I really am kind of rooting for in this
22:16
Speaker 2: one is for Justin Jefferson to score like thirteen points,
22:21
Speaker 2: right where, like then nobody's right.
22:25
Speaker 4: All people are like you started, like, all people are
22:28
Speaker 4: like sitting.
22:29
Speaker 2: I was like, it's better than thoughts, Like if he
22:30
Speaker 2: scores like thirteen fourteen points and like he just lands
22:33
Speaker 2: kind of in the middle of like good and bad,
22:35
Speaker 2: then like then what do we do.
22:37
Speaker 3: The fantasy streets win he gets, he gets the Cowboys
22:41
Speaker 3: next week, he's going to be a start for me again.
22:44
Speaker 4: Hmm, Like he just is all right, I get that.
22:48
Speaker 7: Real quick. Look.
22:49
Speaker 2: I want to ask you about Brian Thomas Junior because
22:53
Speaker 2: he was the guy that I drafted really high this year.
22:56
Speaker 2: He was a late first early second round pick. I
22:59
Speaker 2: had my concern and so because of his draft price,
23:01
Speaker 2: I didn't draft him in many, if any spots at all.
23:06
Speaker 7: Was last year a fluke or have things?
23:08
Speaker 2: Just? Is it Liam Cohen's offense? He doesn't fit in
23:11
Speaker 2: like what happened to be.
23:12
Speaker 3: TJ William, Trevor mid Lawrence. I mean when he saw
23:16
Speaker 3: his relevance with Mac Jones. Yeah, but he wasn't this
23:19
Speaker 3: terrible with Trevor Lawrence last year. He was this bag
23:22
Speaker 3: with Trevor Lawrence last year. I feel like the hospital
23:25
Speaker 3: balls will you know, be a little bit of a
23:27
Speaker 3: motivation of why the disconnect And I think Brian Thomas
23:31
Speaker 3: Junior next year, we just need to look at the
23:33
Speaker 3: dynamic of how that back end of this season finishes
23:36
Speaker 3: out Right, Jacoby Myers, is he the staple as the
23:39
Speaker 3: wide receiver one right? Parker Washington is talented when given opportunities,
23:43
Speaker 3: how much involved you're gonna have him in the offense.
23:45
Speaker 3: And then there's Brian Thomas Junior. Right we have not
23:48
Speaker 3: seen good production from him all season long, So I
23:51
Speaker 3: don't even think he's relevant to be even compared as
23:54
Speaker 3: a flex option or wide receiver two at that point,
23:56
Speaker 3: because at the end of the day, we're dealing with
23:58
Speaker 3: a guy that is not great in this system, not
24:01
Speaker 3: great in this offense, not great with his quarterback right now.
24:04
Speaker 3: So there's nothing that you know, I feel safe with
24:07
Speaker 3: Brian Thomas Junior and starting linements for.
24:09
Speaker 2: The rest of the season. Yeah, it's gonna be interesting
24:12
Speaker 2: next year where he gets drafted. He's gonna fall significantly
24:16
Speaker 2: from where he was this year. But also you're gonna
24:19
Speaker 2: have have his Hunter back at some point.
24:22
Speaker 3: Not to mention Brenton Strange, Brenton Strange, these last two
24:26
Speaker 3: weeks come on like he's he has a role and
24:29
Speaker 3: it's important, and I feel like him having that role
24:32
Speaker 3: kind of puts another wedge in Brian Thomas Junior's upside.
24:35
Speaker 3: Like we've seen William really, I would say, thrive off
24:40
Speaker 3: of the tight end position and a wide receiver operating
24:43
Speaker 3: out of that slot. Right now, Brian Thomas Jr. He's
24:47
Speaker 3: he's just kind of the outside guy looking.
24:48
Speaker 2: In can't get over William just he's just calling him
24:52
Speaker 2: William casually, like like you guys with a third grade
24:57
Speaker 2: together or something like that. Anyway, Britain Strange, which is
25:01
Speaker 2: a perfect way to segue to the tight end starts
25:02
Speaker 2: and sits and I see spoiler alert.
25:06
Speaker 4: You've got Britain Strangers to start this week.
25:08
Speaker 6: Yeah, Breton Strange has been really like, look, he's not
25:11
Speaker 6: gonna give you like twenty plus points, but he's been
25:13
Speaker 6: sitting around thirteen since he's returned, and he scored nine
25:17
Speaker 6: point nine or more in all but two games that
25:18
Speaker 6: he's played this season. Kyle Pitts I said it on
25:21
Speaker 6: yesterday's show, but if Drake London sits, I think Kyle
25:24
Speaker 6: Pitts is a top five tight end play this week
25:26
Speaker 6: because he's been the number one target from Kirk Cousins
25:28
Speaker 6: and the Seahawks have struggled mightily all year and as
25:31
Speaker 6: of late against tight ends, and they'll probably be in
25:34
Speaker 6: ketchup mode. Dalton Kincaid Dalton first eight, as I saw
25:38
Speaker 6: him called on Twitter, dealing with a lot of injuries.
25:41
Speaker 6: But if he plays, he's a must start against the Bengals.
25:44
Speaker 6: If he doesn't play, Dawson Knox becomes a streaming option
25:47
Speaker 6: because the Bengals, you pick a category, targets, catch his yards, touchdowns,
25:50
Speaker 6: fantasy points. They've allowed the most of the tight ends and
25:52
Speaker 6: then Darren Waller just miss a touchdown last week. The
25:56
Speaker 6: Jets have loud the third most touchdowns that got lit
25:58
Speaker 6: up by Kyle Pitts last week, and then the six
26:00
Speaker 6: Dallas Gott It is just a name right now, like
26:02
Speaker 6: he's not getting a lot of volume. He hasn't scored
26:04
Speaker 6: it to if he doesn't get to touchdown, the floor
26:06
Speaker 6: is less than five points. Aronde Gatson, I'm not sure
26:10
Speaker 6: he's healthy. Since he left Week ten, he has not
26:12
Speaker 6: scored five fantasy points in a game, and last week
26:15
Speaker 6: his snaps decreased to the lowest they've been in months,
26:18
Speaker 6: which is concerning to me. Colson Lovelin, the Packers have
26:22
Speaker 6: been better against tight ends as of late, and more
26:24
Speaker 6: than anything, it's just the Bears have so many options.
26:27
Speaker 6: Like last week, Cole Kamet had more production than Colson
26:31
Speaker 6: Lovelin and then David and Joku. He is absolutely a
26:34
Speaker 6: forgotten man. He has two targets are fewer in each
26:37
Speaker 6: of the last three games.
26:38
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's been rough for David and Joke.
26:40
Speaker 2: I mean, look, I get it, the Browns passing game
26:42
Speaker 2: is not really exciting, but David and Joku has just
26:44
Speaker 2: fanished all together. You mentioned the Bengals too, and how
26:48
Speaker 2: bad they are against tight ends. Just looking it up.
26:52
Speaker 2: No defense has given up more yards after the catch
26:56
Speaker 2: to the tight end position than the Bengals.
26:58
Speaker 6: So another category they have the most.
27:00
Speaker 3: It's everything like Tray McBride championship. Trade McBride championships sound
27:06
Speaker 3: so sweet and I'm hoping I get there with them.
27:08
Speaker 4: Just let him, just let him run.
27:10
Speaker 2: So Darren Waller, and I'll say this because you guys
27:14
Speaker 2: actually gave Darren Waller more credit than I did earlier
27:16
Speaker 2: on I was just like, boh, but you know he
27:18
Speaker 2: came in, he scored some touchdowns. You guys were on
27:21
Speaker 2: that first Lakwan. At this point, I know he's not
27:25
Speaker 2: getting a ton of volume, but he's getting the important
27:28
Speaker 2: targets and that's I think what we care about the most.
27:31
Speaker 3: Exactly three catches, forty seven yards, Like bro, He's had
27:35
Speaker 3: an end zone target in every single game that he
27:37
Speaker 3: has played this season, and right, like, I know, we're
27:39
Speaker 3: looking at Darren Waller of the old the guy that
27:41
Speaker 3: has had injury history, but he's been effective when utilized.
27:45
Speaker 3: We talk about that two of touchdown that he missed
27:48
Speaker 3: in the end zone. It was just because it was
27:50
Speaker 3: overthrown and he stepped out of balance. If him getting
27:52
Speaker 3: these looks every single game, he's in versus the Jets,
27:55
Speaker 3: who are tied third in the most red zone touchdowns
27:58
Speaker 3: to the tight end position. This is where he is
28:00
Speaker 3: most lethal and what's most important. In this B role.
28:03
Speaker 3: We're seeing him being utilized vertically downfield, so you're getting
28:06
Speaker 3: the touchdown upside and the yards upside this week where Hey,
28:10
Speaker 3: I might download the tape. I might download the mixtape
28:13
Speaker 3: Choose Myself, that's the name of it, two songs. I
28:15
Speaker 3: might just support the group. If he goes out there
28:18
Speaker 3: and balls.
28:18
Speaker 4: Out, I would just break it.
28:20
Speaker 2: You don't if you can find it for free ninety
28:24
Speaker 2: nine like I wouldn't spend I wouldn't spend legal tender
28:27
Speaker 2: on it.
28:30
Speaker 3: Come on, MG, if he brings home tight end one
28:33
Speaker 3: performance this week, you gotta download it, bro, you gotta
28:37
Speaker 3: bump it in the studio.
28:38
Speaker 4: Come out.
28:39
Speaker 7: Let's let me.
28:39
Speaker 2: Back off and like I'm let me not tell another
28:41
Speaker 2: grown man how to spend his hard earned money, right,
28:44
Speaker 2: is just he's just putting that out.
28:45
Speaker 7: There's a suggestion.
28:46
Speaker 3: If he's going to be supporting fantasy points from my rosters,
28:50
Speaker 3: I'm gonna support the music.
28:51
Speaker 4: Put it like that? All right, all right, good enough?
28:54
Speaker 2: You mentioned Coaston Loveland Florio as I said this week,
28:59
Speaker 2: what do we do with the tight end position in
29:01
Speaker 2: Chicago at this point? I mean we just out all
29:03
Speaker 2: together now or what.
29:05
Speaker 6: I That's my approach, Like, I won't act like I
29:08
Speaker 6: have Colson Lovelin on a bunch of teams because I
29:10
Speaker 6: wasn't like heavily targeting him this season, but I had
29:14
Speaker 6: I've had him on a couple of teams where I've
29:16
Speaker 6: dropped him and then like repicked him up as the
29:18
Speaker 6: year has gone on. But I've kind of gotten to
29:21
Speaker 6: the point of the season where like I had one
29:23
Speaker 6: team where I had him and it was Ferguson, And
29:26
Speaker 6: for a while I was starting Ferguson, and then you know,
29:28
Speaker 6: Ferguson kind of declined a little bit and then he
29:31
Speaker 6: started to ascend. And I've just decided, like I'm playing
29:33
Speaker 6: Ferguson every single week because I think trying to chase
29:36
Speaker 6: it and figure it out leads to headaches and missed
29:38
Speaker 6: opportunities and stuff like that. But yeah, because Cole Komet
29:41
Speaker 6: hasn't gone away, they're they're you mixing in Luther Burden.
29:44
Speaker 6: There's the key is there's more and dunsday and they
29:47
Speaker 6: run like the Bears. One they're just not an efficient
29:50
Speaker 6: passing attack, and two they have so many options that
29:54
Speaker 6: I for me, at least, I think he's still in
29:56
Speaker 6: play as a streamer in the right matchup. But that's
29:59
Speaker 6: kind of it.
30:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it looked like things were starting to
30:02
Speaker 2: kind of build for him, but he's kind of taking
30:05
Speaker 2: a step back recently, so we will see how that
30:07
Speaker 2: works out.
30:08
Speaker 3: Could we do a status check on Ronde Gaston's dad,
30:11
Speaker 3: Like has he been starting him? Oh, that's what's my
30:14
Speaker 3: question on this decline. We need a status update because bro,
30:17
Speaker 3: it's it's been dark for him and that's it's been
30:19
Speaker 3: hard to be benching him because it's like, come on, bro,
30:22
Speaker 3: he was bawling. Please tell me he didn't go out
30:25
Speaker 3: there and start his son. We need a status update.
30:28
Speaker 2: Ronde Senior might be starting Ronde the second and that's
30:30
Speaker 2: the problem. Then that's why you're not getting any Fantasy points.
30:33
Speaker 2: We will, We'll have to We'll have to inquire about
30:36
Speaker 2: that time for a break, but when we come back,
30:38
Speaker 2: we'll play Fantasy either or with your toughest start, set decisions,
30:41
Speaker 2: give you some hot takes for the week and have
30:43
Speaker 2: a chat with cam Wolf time for a little bit
30:49
Speaker 2: of Fantasy either or put together some matchups.
30:52
Speaker 7: These are guys we've.
30:52
Speaker 2: Talked about actually earlier in the week, but you know,
30:54
Speaker 2: we did some Fantasy trust falls and some of these
30:56
Speaker 2: names appeared there. But I kind of wanted to, you know,
31:00
Speaker 2: make the second of a real life situation, like it's
31:02
Speaker 2: one thing to be like, I don't think I'm gonna start,
31:04
Speaker 2: you know whatever, Trevor Lawrence this week, But if you
31:08
Speaker 2: make it either or, then you kind of have to make.
31:09
Speaker 4: Some decisions about this.
31:10
Speaker 2: So Flora, I'll let you go first, and Lakwan you
31:12
Speaker 2: can follow up after that. Trevor Lawrence against the Colts
31:16
Speaker 2: this week or Sam Donald against the Falcons.
31:18
Speaker 4: Who'd you rather?
31:19
Speaker 6: I'm gonna go with Trevor Lawrence there because I think
31:21
Speaker 6: that could be a more competitive game. The Colts, I
31:24
Speaker 6: know their secondary has been really elite as or putting
31:27
Speaker 6: up really good numbers as of late, but that was
31:29
Speaker 6: after they got Sauce Gardner, and we don't know if
31:31
Speaker 6: he's going to be out there this week. Remember early
31:33
Speaker 6: in the year Presauce, the Colts were allowing a lot
31:35
Speaker 6: of passing game production, and then on top of that,
31:38
Speaker 6: that's what we said, Yes, like Sam Darnald has these
31:40
Speaker 6: dud games where he plays fine, but they just don't
31:43
Speaker 6: need him to put up numbers. So that is my
31:45
Speaker 6: concern this week in Atlanta.
31:47
Speaker 2: All right, Lakwan William William, Trevor Or, Samuel Richard, give me,
31:52
Speaker 2: sir William.
31:53
Speaker 3: I think Sam Darnald, man.
31:54
Speaker 7: His lows are bad. Man.
31:56
Speaker 3: Those are week losing lows that we're seeing from Sam
31:59
Speaker 3: Donald right there. And obviously when you have like a
32:01
Speaker 3: Kenneth Walker or Jason as explosive and put you in
32:04
Speaker 3: striking distance, the yards upside are not going to be there,
32:07
Speaker 3: and that's been the issue for Sam Darnold.
32:10
Speaker 2: All right, So Trevor Lawrence wins that one. I probably
32:13
Speaker 2: make it a full clean sweep here because I think,
32:15
Speaker 2: you know, if anything seems like a game where the
32:18
Speaker 2: Seahawks kind of run the ball a lot too against Atlanta,
32:21
Speaker 2: So I think I think Trevor Lawrence wins.
32:23
Speaker 4: All right's go over the running backs.
32:24
Speaker 2: I'll start with you on this one, Lakwan DeAndre Swift
32:28
Speaker 2: at Green Bay.
32:29
Speaker 7: We know Florio has him as a start.
32:31
Speaker 2: Versus Brice Hall against Miami and what's been a pretty
32:34
Speaker 2: bad run defense there.
32:37
Speaker 3: I'll probably lean Swift and it's close for me. But
32:40
Speaker 3: the problem is with Breecee Hall. There's not much consistent
32:43
Speaker 3: pass catching opportunities for him.
32:45
Speaker 5: Right.
32:45
Speaker 3: We haven't seen bres Hall get Pepper with so many targets,
32:48
Speaker 3: and we talked about that earlier in the week, and
32:50
Speaker 3: I feel like now with Swift being the head hontro
32:53
Speaker 3: of that backfield and they're finding rhythm that they can't
32:56
Speaker 3: lean on the passing game. We're seeing screens, We're seeing
32:58
Speaker 3: opportunities for Swift and common Nung Guy, both being fantashy relevant.
33:02
Speaker 3: But who is eating first on that plate is DeAndre Swift?
33:05
Speaker 4: All Right? Which one of these, DWO do you like more?
33:07
Speaker 6: I'm actually gonna go in the opposite direction. I'm gonna
33:09
Speaker 6: go with brace Hall here. I like them as much
33:11
Speaker 6: as I was saying the Packers have struggled against the run.
33:13
Speaker 6: As of late, the Dolphins have been one of the
33:15
Speaker 6: best matchups for running backs all year, and more than anything,
33:19
Speaker 6: Breese Hall has his backfield to himself.
33:21
Speaker 7: Like when the Bears get on.
33:22
Speaker 6: The two yard line, we have to worry is it
33:24
Speaker 6: gonna be Swift or Manungay And lately it's been more
33:26
Speaker 6: Manongai near the goal line. So what we know when
33:29
Speaker 6: bres Hall gets that when the Jets get down there,
33:31
Speaker 6: it's gonna go. If it's not Tyrod steeling it, it's
33:34
Speaker 6: going to Breeze Hall. So I think I actually I've
33:37
Speaker 6: been listing names because they don't want me to write
33:39
Speaker 6: more than four. But I've been listing like other starts,
33:42
Speaker 6: and Breese is in there. The only reason I didn't
33:44
Speaker 6: write him up is because I was like, which one
33:46
Speaker 6: do I think fantasy manager's gonna more questions about?
33:49
Speaker 4: And that for me was the Bears backfield.
33:51
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I go Breese Hall too, And I
33:52
Speaker 2: think Lakwan to answer your concern, I think this is
33:55
Speaker 2: a week you see him get maybe a few more targets.
33:57
Speaker 2: I think you get some easier short throws for Tyrod Taylor.
34:00
Speaker 2: I think you just want to try to get him
34:02
Speaker 2: out in space a little bit, because part of what
34:05
Speaker 2: the Dolphins do well is they do pressure the quarterback.
34:07
Speaker 2: So a good way to sort of back that off
34:09
Speaker 2: is to just pay a couple quick throws to.
34:12
Speaker 3: The running It's a lot of hope that comes with
34:14
Speaker 3: being you know, with the Jets, there's a lot of
34:16
Speaker 3: hope that they can win five games. There's a lot
34:18
Speaker 3: of hope they can get in striking distance. That's just
34:21
Speaker 3: my issue.
34:21
Speaker 7: It's a lot of hope.
34:23
Speaker 3: I just feel like I'm gonna go with the more
34:25
Speaker 3: agenda driven game where they're going to run the living
34:28
Speaker 3: heck out of that ball.
34:29
Speaker 4: Hope is not a plan, but sometimes maybe it is.
34:32
Speaker 1: I don't know.
34:33
Speaker 2: Another running back question Florio quin Shawn Judkins against the
34:36
Speaker 2: Titans or Traves etn against the Colts.
34:38
Speaker 4: Quinn Shard Judkins.
34:39
Speaker 6: For me, he is such a safe bet for volume,
34:43
Speaker 6: Like since Week three when he really started to take over.
34:46
Speaker 6: Three games with less than eighteen touches and one of
34:48
Speaker 6: them is sixteen, Like, he is just such a safe bet.
34:51
Speaker 6: The only time that things can really go wrong for
34:54
Speaker 6: him is when the Browns are getting blown out. I
34:56
Speaker 6: don't see that happening this week against the Titans, and
34:58
Speaker 6: then they're what they just showed. The Wildcat that they
35:01
Speaker 6: are using him in near the goal line is tremendous
35:04
Speaker 6: for his fantasy value. Last week he had three targets.
35:07
Speaker 6: I'm hoping that that's something he could start to build
35:09
Speaker 6: on a little bit more pass game usage. But yeah,
35:11
Speaker 6: I think Judkins finishes as a top ten running back
35:14
Speaker 6: this week.
35:14
Speaker 4: All right, which one of these two do you like?
35:17
Speaker 1: Yeah?
35:17
Speaker 3: I like Junkins as well. I'm with Floria as a
35:19
Speaker 3: top ten running back this week. I don't expect him
35:21
Speaker 3: to get blown out. I expect, you know, Junkins to
35:23
Speaker 3: be handling business. It's Travis Etn. I'm a little worried
35:26
Speaker 3: about last week. We saw him the hit that low
35:28
Speaker 3: last week. We've seen the last couple of weeks We've
35:30
Speaker 3: actually seen too and get involved as well in short yardage,
35:33
Speaker 3: goal line areas, and with Jacoby Myers and now Brian
35:36
Speaker 3: Thomas juet Are Breton Streams, there's a lot of different
35:39
Speaker 3: dynamics of what this offense can offer where Travis Etn
35:42
Speaker 3: doesn't have to hold down the four all by hisself now,
35:44
Speaker 3: So I think the higher ceiling goes with Jenkins. If
35:47
Speaker 3: I'm in the quick buyd with these two all.
35:49
Speaker 2: I will make that a clean sweep, because it feels
35:51
Speaker 2: like every time we start to buy into Travis Etn
35:53
Speaker 2: he disappears, and then when we give up on him,
35:55
Speaker 2: he starts.
35:55
Speaker 4: Getting a whole bunch of carries again. So I can't
35:57
Speaker 4: figure it out.
35:58
Speaker 2: Laquoi Khalis against the Bengals, Marvin Harrison Junior against the Rams.
36:04
Speaker 3: Give me Marvi if he's good to go. Okay, I
36:06
Speaker 3: gotta go with mar because of Jacoby Brissett, man, And
36:09
Speaker 3: this ain't look I see how you look at me, Florial.
36:11
Speaker 7: This ain't a.
36:12
Speaker 3: Little night turn. I'm not trying to get you to cry.
36:14
Speaker 3: And I'm picking mar because I just think there's more opportunities.
36:17
Speaker 3: I was just looking. That's crazy. I know you're going
36:19
Speaker 3: to get your lick back, but listen, I'm going Marv honestly,
36:22
Speaker 3: because everything we've seen from Jacoby Brissett makes me feel
36:25
Speaker 3: comfortable about a Cardinals wide receiver. And we've seen opportunities
36:29
Speaker 3: last week with this Rams defense of finding opportunities downfield
36:34
Speaker 3: with that Tetro McMillan, you know, touchdown over Emmanuel Forbes.
36:37
Speaker 3: So I do think they're going to keep on chucking
36:39
Speaker 3: it downfield and with that high volume, high upside. If
36:42
Speaker 3: Marve's good to go, he's in my starting lineups.
36:44
Speaker 4: All right, which one do you like?
36:45
Speaker 7: I'm not crashing out? I agree.
36:47
Speaker 6: I think it's Marvin Harrison here because of Jacoby Brissett,
36:51
Speaker 6: he's amazing. They're probably going to be trailing in this game.
36:54
Speaker 6: Like look, he might not have a lot of points
36:56
Speaker 6: at halftime.
36:57
Speaker 7: Just look at the end of the game.
36:58
Speaker 6: That's when the Cardinals do their best wor when they're
37:00
Speaker 6: in ketchup mode in the second half. On top of that,
37:04
Speaker 6: I said yesterday, I think like James Cooke, Ty Johnson,
37:06
Speaker 6: Ray Davis are going to be heavily utilized in this game.
37:10
Speaker 6: The Bengals are so bad against the run and tight
37:13
Speaker 6: ends that they're actually one of the harder matchups for
37:15
Speaker 6: wide receivers on the year. They've allowed these six fewest
37:18
Speaker 6: fantasy points two wide receivers because all of the eating
37:21
Speaker 6: is going to the other positions that they just simply
37:23
Speaker 6: cannot guard.
37:24
Speaker 2: All right, yeah, I think I go Marvin Harrison. I
37:27
Speaker 2: just think the air yards are a big thing there
37:28
Speaker 2: and the catchup mode that they'll probably be in the
37:31
Speaker 2: second half. I think those sort of lean a little
37:33
Speaker 2: bit more towards toward Harrison. Shakiro usually has to get
37:37
Speaker 2: a lot of targets or break a couple of long
37:39
Speaker 2: runs to put up a good fantasy number.
37:41
Speaker 4: It could happen against Cincinnati, but.
37:43
Speaker 2: I'd rather take the guy who you know will pick
37:45
Speaker 2: up yards in chunks, presumably, and that's Marvin Harrison.
37:48
Speaker 1: Yeah.
37:49
Speaker 7: Last one, Florio, Darren Waller.
37:51
Speaker 4: Against the Jets are held fan and against the Titans.
37:54
Speaker 7: My guy, Darren Waller.
37:55
Speaker 6: He uh, look, the Jets' third most touchdowns, a lot
37:58
Speaker 6: of tight ends this season. They've struggled against the position
38:01
Speaker 6: all year. And Harold Fanning, I do think he's in play,
38:04
Speaker 6: like he's one of my deeper starts that I list
38:07
Speaker 6: on in the column, But.
38:09
Speaker 7: I just don't.
38:10
Speaker 6: I one, I trust Tyrod more than I trust Shador.
38:13
Speaker 6: I like the matchup a little bit more for Darren Waller.
38:16
Speaker 6: The Titans haven't given up a lot of production to
38:18
Speaker 6: tight ends, So I'm gonna go with the with the
38:20
Speaker 6: big fella.
38:21
Speaker 2: There, all right, you go on, mister mixtape, you go on,
38:23
Speaker 2: Harold Fannin Lakwan, I'm going.
38:25
Speaker 3: Mister mixtape, Darren Waller. I think Harrow Fann and he
38:28
Speaker 3: gives you a safe floor. But we're looking for high
38:30
Speaker 3: ceilings in a big week this week. So give me
38:32
Speaker 3: Darren Waller with the opportunity to score and obviously put
38:34
Speaker 3: up six and I download his mixtape.
38:36
Speaker 4: All right, I'll take uh.
38:37
Speaker 2: I'll take Waller as well, just because I think the
38:39
Speaker 2: Dolphins can score more points than the Browns can, simple
38:43
Speaker 2: as that they're gonna get more touchdown opportunities. So that's
38:46
Speaker 2: the reason I would go with Darren Waller. Those are
38:50
Speaker 2: either ors. Get your taste buzz ready getting spicy with
38:53
Speaker 2: our takes for week fourteen, Lakwan who are getting spicy.
38:56
Speaker 3: With surprisingly enough, Tyler Schuck. I'm a Spencer Ratler guy,
39:01
Speaker 3: but Tyler Shuck this week has opportunity of putting up
39:03
Speaker 3: a twenty five burger like a big game against this
39:06
Speaker 3: Bucks defense, just based on how trash their red zone
39:09
Speaker 3: defense is, so scoring opportunities. And when we look at
39:12
Speaker 3: the Bucks defense the last four games, they have allowed
39:15
Speaker 3: the most yards per attempt at eight point four yards.
39:18
Speaker 3: We're looking at a defense that have allowed two hundred
39:21
Speaker 3: and plus two hundred and seventy plus passing yards each
39:24
Speaker 3: of the last four games to the quarterbacks when we
39:26
Speaker 3: were looking at guys like Drake May, Josh Allen, Jacoby
39:29
Speaker 3: Brissett offensive Player to Year candidates there and Matthew Stafford
39:33
Speaker 3: mister MVP. So I look at this as an opportunity
39:36
Speaker 3: where he could sit right in between and put up
39:38
Speaker 3: a twenty five burger where these guys have found success
39:41
Speaker 3: as of the last four games against the Bucks.
39:43
Speaker 2: I put him into a couple of lineups this week.
39:45
Speaker 2: So this makes me feel good. Florida, what is your bullpendiction?
39:48
Speaker 6: I talked him up on Fantasy Live a little bit yesterday,
39:50
Speaker 6: so I'm on board with that. Nice Alq's not gonna
39:53
Speaker 6: like this one, but I think, justin Jefferson, it's wild
39:56
Speaker 6: that he hasn't done this already this year. First game
39:58
Speaker 6: with one hundred yards and a touchdown this season. Why
40:02
Speaker 6: because the Commanders like they are the I would argue
40:06
Speaker 6: they might be the e least passing defense. I think
40:08
Speaker 6: they're the worst in the league. Speed kills them. They
40:12
Speaker 6: can't tackle, like, there's a lot wrong with that Commander's
40:15
Speaker 6: defense right now.
40:16
Speaker 7: They can't get after the quarterback.
40:17
Speaker 6: I think it's going to be friendlier confines for the Vikings,
40:21
Speaker 6: and I think again, they're gonna throw the ball his
40:23
Speaker 6: way a bunch.
40:24
Speaker 7: He is look at this like he can do. All
40:27
Speaker 7: you gotta do is play. He can win after the catch,
40:29
Speaker 7: he could win deafiely.
40:30
Speaker 6: Just give him opportunities against his defense and he's going
40:33
Speaker 6: to have his best game of the season.
40:34
Speaker 2: Has not had a touchdown since Week nine, has not
40:37
Speaker 2: had one hundred yards since Week five. So we'll see
40:40
Speaker 2: if he can crack both of those this week. So
40:43
Speaker 2: James Cook James Cook two hundred scrimmage yards this week
40:46
Speaker 2: against the Cincinnati Bengals. I know the Bengals played better
40:49
Speaker 2: against the Ravens on Thanksgiving Night. I'm not convinced that
40:53
Speaker 2: they are fixed yet. I need to see it again.
40:56
Speaker 2: They've still been terrible against the run. And I said
40:59
Speaker 2: this on Fantasy I'll say it again here. Joe Brady
41:02
Speaker 2: in Western New York is slightly less popular than Lake
41:06
Speaker 2: Effect Snow. So I think I think they're gonna try
41:09
Speaker 2: and get away from, you know, running a lot of mesh.
41:12
Speaker 4: I mean, they're still gonna run.
41:13
Speaker 2: It because that' apparently all Joe Brady knows how to do.
41:14
Speaker 2: But a lot of it's going to be trying to
41:16
Speaker 2: get the ball to James Cook, letting.
41:18
Speaker 4: Him do his thing.
41:19
Speaker 2: I think he's gonna get over twenty carries. I think
41:21
Speaker 2: he's gonna get a few targets as well, and I
41:22
Speaker 2: think he puts up two hundred scrimmag yards and yeah,
41:24
Speaker 2: we'll throw a touchdown in there too.
41:26
Speaker 4: For a good measure.
41:27
Speaker 6: You know what, My favorite Joe Brady thing is, what's
41:29
Speaker 6: that two weeks ago when they played the Texans and
41:31
Speaker 6: they lost, Bills fans will like, he ran the same
41:33
Speaker 6: play over and over again, and then they legitimately ran
41:36
Speaker 6: the same play twenty nine times against the Steelers, and
41:38
Speaker 6: Bill's fans are like, he ran the same play and
41:40
Speaker 6: they can't stop.
41:41
Speaker 7: So all of that matters is wins and loss. All
41:43
Speaker 7: that matters is wins and losses.
41:46
Speaker 4: Time to say goodbye to Lakwan.
41:48
Speaker 2: Glad to be joined it now by our friend and
41:51
Speaker 2: NFL Network reporter Cam Wolfa, who hangs out with us
41:54
Speaker 2: every week to give us his insight on things going
41:56
Speaker 2: on around the league.
41:57
Speaker 4: And Cam, you drew, You drew the long straw, You
41:59
Speaker 4: got the good one.
42:00
Speaker 2: This week You're going up to Buffalo for Bengals and Bills,
42:04
Speaker 2: which on paper one of the marquee games of the week.
42:07
Speaker 2: So I mean one, you've been some cold places lately.
42:10
Speaker 2: Are you ready for Western New York in December?
42:14
Speaker 1: Yeah?
42:14
Speaker 7: Are you ever really ready?
42:16
Speaker 5: No? I don't really have much of a choice. It's
42:19
Speaker 5: gonna be cold.
42:21
Speaker 8: It is gonna be fun, though, because I can't wait
42:22
Speaker 8: to see these quarterbacks sling the ball around.
42:24
Speaker 5: But it's annual joke I have.
42:26
Speaker 8: They love to see the South Florida guys see if
42:28
Speaker 8: I can get frozen and the coldest places I can be.
42:31
Speaker 5: So I will be bundled up, I will have layers
42:34
Speaker 5: on and we'll see if I survive.
42:37
Speaker 6: When you joined us on game day preview on Sunday
42:39
Speaker 6: from Cleveland, it looked like tears were frozen on your face.
42:43
Speaker 7: They were.
42:43
Speaker 8: They were literally coming down. The wind was blowing pretty bad.
42:47
Speaker 8: It was not an emotional story. I was talking about
42:50
Speaker 8: opportunities to be the starter beyond twenty twenty five. But
42:53
Speaker 8: they're just coming and I have to decide as you're
42:57
Speaker 8: on air, do you wipe and draw more attention, you
43:00
Speaker 8: just let them flow and act like they're not there.
43:02
Speaker 5: And I chose the latter. But people will of course
43:05
Speaker 5: you still notice it's tears.
43:06
Speaker 4: It's a no win situation that deal.
43:11
Speaker 2: But do you want to ask you about the Bengals,
43:13
Speaker 2: because we saw Joe Burrow come back on Thanksgiving.
43:15
Speaker 4: He looked really good.
43:16
Speaker 2: He helped them get a win over the Baltimore Ravens.
43:20
Speaker 2: They were doing some good things with Joe Flacco. But
43:22
Speaker 2: this offense feels different. How much different is it really
43:24
Speaker 2: with Joe Burrow versus Joe Flacco.
43:27
Speaker 8: It's so different, It's so different. Marcus I actually talked
43:29
Speaker 8: to Chase Brown, their running back, about this yesterday, and
43:32
Speaker 8: he said it starts with just his control and knowledge
43:35
Speaker 8: of everything. Joe Burrow, he said, the way we have
43:38
Speaker 8: an ability to get to every single check in our offense,
43:41
Speaker 8: every single protection, every single hot route we can potentially do.
43:44
Speaker 8: He said, no offense to Joe Flacco, but he'd only
43:46
Speaker 8: been here three weeks. He said, Joe called some stuff
43:48
Speaker 8: this past week that we hadn't done in two years,
43:51
Speaker 8: and we all got back and flow of it right,
43:53
Speaker 8: And he said, there's so much control, there's so much
43:55
Speaker 8: calmness that we just want to go out there and
43:57
Speaker 8: play to the next level.
43:59
Speaker 5: And we saw that from them.
44:00
Speaker 8: You know the offense had already started to show some
44:03
Speaker 8: signs of life with Flacco Chase Brown's been running the
44:05
Speaker 8: ball well, but when Burrow was around him, I think
44:08
Speaker 8: the impact on everyone else was so clear. The defense
44:11
Speaker 8: all of a sudden, which has been to see most
44:13
Speaker 8: of the year, look pretty solid. You know, Jamar Chase
44:17
Speaker 8: looked like he was having fun playing ball again, and
44:19
Speaker 8: so I think that'll continue. They're playing with the level
44:22
Speaker 8: of looseness, of freeness of what else do we have
44:25
Speaker 8: to lose? And I know people in that locker room
44:27
Speaker 8: were talking about the win out.
44:29
Speaker 5: Possibility of what if?
44:31
Speaker 8: What if we were in the rest of our games
44:33
Speaker 8: and we're nine in eight and we're getting a chance
44:35
Speaker 8: to potentially get back in this division.
44:37
Speaker 1: Hunt.
44:38
Speaker 6: Yeah, they're going to have to do to win out,
44:41
Speaker 6: and that means they have to win this weekend in
44:43
Speaker 6: Buffalo can But on the other side, look, we know
44:46
Speaker 6: the Bills could run with the best of them, but
44:48
Speaker 6: what do they have to do to get more consistency
44:51
Speaker 6: in the passing game?
44:52
Speaker 5: Those pass catchers have to step up.
44:54
Speaker 8: Like we talked about the Bengals offense, The Bengals have
44:56
Speaker 8: Jamar Chase and t Higgins who it sounds like we'll
44:59
Speaker 8: play today that they can throw this week, that they
45:02
Speaker 8: can throw to every down. Who is the Bills guy,
45:05
Speaker 8: Who is the guy besides James Cook that you know
45:07
Speaker 8: every single week you're going to get contribution from. There's
45:10
Speaker 8: not that consistency. And so Khalil Shakira is good for
45:13
Speaker 8: what he is, but they need one of those high
45:15
Speaker 8: drafted guys, Dalton Kincaid or Kean Coleman to step up
45:19
Speaker 8: at some point. And there's no cavalry coming. You know,
45:22
Speaker 8: they brought in Brandon Cooks. It'll be a nice piece,
45:25
Speaker 8: but I don't anticipate him saving the offense. Sounds like
45:28
Speaker 8: Josh Palmer's still dealing with some injury injury issues and
45:31
Speaker 8: they won't have him this week, and so those guys
45:33
Speaker 8: Keon Coleman and Dalton Kkaid have to get it done.
45:36
Speaker 8: And it sounds like Kaid's going to play this week.
45:38
Speaker 8: He's trending towards that way, and it sounds like after
45:40
Speaker 8: Coleman had a really couple of rough weeks with showing
45:43
Speaker 8: up late, he's bounced back at least from a responsibility perspective,
45:48
Speaker 8: and they haven't given up on him. And so you know,
45:51
Speaker 8: I know Bill's fans don't love the idea of betting
45:53
Speaker 8: on those two guys, but I think the dreams of
45:55
Speaker 8: that passing attack coming alive relies on those two.
45:59
Speaker 4: Yeah, definitely.
46:00
Speaker 2: You know, obviously you mentioned they were high draft picks.
46:02
Speaker 2: At some point you need to get some production out
46:04
Speaker 2: of them if you're going to really make a run
46:06
Speaker 2: at a Super Bowl. Let's kind of go out to
46:08
Speaker 2: the big thirty thousand foot for to you. I know
46:10
Speaker 2: this is a week to week conversation, but let's just
46:12
Speaker 2: talk about it again this week. Right now, who do
46:15
Speaker 2: you think is the front runner for the MVP Award
46:17
Speaker 2: in the NFL.
46:18
Speaker 8: It's Drake May to me. And look, I think it's
46:21
Speaker 8: a two man race. I know, early on the running
46:23
Speaker 8: backs we're in it. I think a lot of those
46:24
Speaker 8: kind of fell off. I think Matthew Stafford and Drake
46:27
Speaker 8: May to me or one and two, you can pick either.
46:30
Speaker 8: Or you know, Matthew Stafford's got the touchdown to interception
46:33
Speaker 8: ratio thirty two to four. But the way Drake May
46:36
Speaker 8: has such control, such an impact on this offense is
46:39
Speaker 8: incredible to see. I mean, we forget the Patriots were
46:41
Speaker 8: one of the worst five teams of football last year,
46:44
Speaker 8: and now they're number one seed in the AFC. Drake
46:46
Speaker 8: May's leading the NFL and passing yards and completion percentage
46:50
Speaker 8: and quarterback rating. He's making the type of smart, efficient
46:54
Speaker 8: plays that we just don't see from a second year quarterback.
46:58
Speaker 8: And he's doing it without an elite, elite number one receiver.
47:01
Speaker 8: Stefan Diggs has been good. He's not early career Stefan Diggs,
47:05
Speaker 8: and so everyone is eating and I think Drake May
47:08
Speaker 8: is the main reason the Patriots are going to be
47:11
Speaker 8: the biggest surprise of the twenty twenty five season as
47:14
Speaker 8: far as a turnaround. So if I had to vote,
47:16
Speaker 8: and with Verdon today, I would vote for Drake Man.
47:19
Speaker 2: If the Browns record was reversed, if they were nine
47:21
Speaker 2: and three instead of three.
47:22
Speaker 7: And now we'll be talking about Miles Garrett.
47:24
Speaker 8: Of course, he's doing something nobody has done since I've
47:28
Speaker 8: been alive as a defensive player, Like it's incredible. I
47:31
Speaker 8: was there for this game this past week, and after
47:33
Speaker 8: the forty nine ers beat them by twenty points, there
47:36
Speaker 8: are seven players lined up trying to talk to Miles
47:39
Speaker 8: Garrett tell them how incredible it was to play against them.
47:41
Speaker 5: You never see that from losing teams. I think it's
47:44
Speaker 5: a respect factor.
47:45
Speaker 8: Trent Williams called him the best to ever play pass
47:48
Speaker 8: rusher in the NFL, and I think he's going to
47:51
Speaker 8: get that record, and if he does, it'll certainly give
47:53
Speaker 8: him Defensive Player of the Year. But you know what,
47:55
Speaker 8: do they call them baseball Some down ballot MVP votes
47:57
Speaker 8: wouldn't surprise me as well.
48:00
Speaker 6: Kim, Look, you're your guy who likes to hit the
48:01
Speaker 6: gym and stuff. Did you get any tips from Miles
48:04
Speaker 6: Garrett because he is the closest thing to an Avenger.
48:06
Speaker 8: Oh no, we're in different gyms the same we don't
48:12
Speaker 8: have the same rack. You know, his his weight with
48:15
Speaker 8: my way. We would laugh at my weight. You know,
48:18
Speaker 8: I stand next to him on the sidelines and it
48:20
Speaker 8: reminds me that I'm just you know, I'm not working out.
48:23
Speaker 8: I'm just moving moving things around, working out. So yeah,
48:28
Speaker 8: it's great to humble get humbled anytime you see Miles Garrett.
48:32
Speaker 6: I mean, his traps are the size of my body,
48:34
Speaker 6: like it is in insane crazy. Uh, Cam, can you
48:39
Speaker 6: explain what has happened to Lamar in the second half?
48:42
Speaker 6: And you being a fantasy guy yourself, if you had Lamar,
48:45
Speaker 6: would you play him this week against the Steelers?
48:48
Speaker 8: Yeah, I would not. I'm concerned because you know it's
48:52
Speaker 8: clearly not one hundred percent. I think that's the first thing,
48:55
Speaker 8: the first answer to your question. But Lamar is such
48:58
Speaker 8: a private guy that I think he's going to kind
49:02
Speaker 8: of hide whatever he's dealing with if he feels like.
49:05
Speaker 5: He's good enough to go.
49:07
Speaker 8: And the issue is, I'm curious how much they've adjusted
49:10
Speaker 8: their play calling or they need to based on his limitations,
49:13
Speaker 8: because it seems like the offense is still functioning with
49:16
Speaker 8: a lot of the run pass options and Lamar is
49:18
Speaker 8: just not making the decision to run as often and
49:22
Speaker 8: that's what made them so difficult to find. And so
49:24
Speaker 8: now teams can load up in the box for Derek
49:26
Speaker 8: a little bit more. He hasn't been as efficient as
49:28
Speaker 8: a passer, and I don't know if we ever get
49:31
Speaker 8: a fully healthy Lamar Jackson the rest of the season,
49:34
Speaker 8: So that part is concerning. Can you adjust the offense
49:38
Speaker 8: to a little bit more of a limited Lamar? And me,
49:40
Speaker 8: as a fantasy owner, I wouldn't want to bet my
49:44
Speaker 8: fantasy life in the playoffs on trying to find it out.
49:47
Speaker 8: So if I've got another starting option that I would
49:50
Speaker 8: feel comfortable with, and that's probably the hard part. But
49:52
Speaker 8: if I had a Jackson Dart, if I had a
49:56
Speaker 8: guy that I felt like, hey, I can get good
49:58
Speaker 8: twenty five point from, I'd probably been to Lamar for Yeah.
50:02
Speaker 2: I mean, it's frustrating because you spent the high draft
50:06
Speaker 2: pick on Lamar.
50:06
Speaker 7: You kind of are hoping for.
50:08
Speaker 4: Him to produce.
50:08
Speaker 2: But at some point you kind of got to go
50:11
Speaker 2: where the numbers are leading you, and right now they're
50:13
Speaker 2: sort of leading you away from from Lamar Jackson. Enjoy
50:16
Speaker 2: the game. That should be a lot of fun. We
50:17
Speaker 2: always enjoy talking to Cam. Be sure to check him
50:19
Speaker 2: out both on social media and across the network as well.
50:22
Speaker 4: And for us, that is it. We are done.
50:25
Speaker 2: We appreciate you hanging out with the NFL Fantasy Football Show.
50:28
Speaker 7: You know the drill.
50:28
Speaker 2: Tell two friends to tell two friends rate review and
50:31
Speaker 2: remember if at first you don't succeed, by not if
50:33
Speaker 2: second place gets anything, be safe, take care of yourselves.
50:36
Speaker 4: Enjoy Week fourteen. I will talk to you again on Monday.
50:39
Speaker 2: Wow took at at bat to tek a alcot
