- 0:00Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 0:03Speaker 1: time and tap the preset button.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Now.
- 0:06Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wor Hey,
- 0:14Speaker 1: let's take some calls. Let's go to Michael on the
- 0:16Speaker 1: East Side. Michael, how you doing, hey, Mark.
- 0:20Speaker 3: You're my morning Vitamins. I'm glad to hear him. Mont
- 0:24Speaker 3: Demi is flush with cash. Might I say these are
- 0:29Speaker 3: gonna be called pity potties because we're gonna see how
- 0:35Speaker 3: much extra money he spends on these things.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Well, yeah, that's another thing. Whenever socialists get into power,
- 0:42Speaker 1: money seems to go missing, Contracts get handed out dramatically,
- 0:47Speaker 1: overpaying for everything, and then the money seems to vanish.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Minnesota Somali daycare. Good example, Bill de Blasio with his
- 0:55Speaker 1: Thrive NYC. This could be the beginning of that kind
- 0:58Speaker 1: of stuff, this restroom contract. Let's go to David and
- 1:02Speaker 1: Queen's David, how you doing.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Hey, Mark, Good morning Mark.
- 1:07Speaker 4: One of the pluses of Cuomo not winning was that
- 1:10Speaker 4: we didn't have to look at that proof face Melissa's dort.
- 1:12Speaker 1: No, he did what he said. But the rumors Andrew
- 1:17Speaker 1: Cuomo wants to do a radio show. Oh my god,
- 1:20Speaker 1: this is there's a curse in the Cuomo family. Whatever
- 1:24Speaker 1: they try radio, it's disaster. His father, who I love twice,
- 1:28Speaker 1: tried a radio show. It was disaster. Didn't last long.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Cloma has tried it before. It's one thing he really
- 1:35Speaker 1: stinks at when you're on the radio. You can't talk
- 1:41Speaker 1: slow like he talks. And you know how when he
- 1:47Speaker 1: wants to sound dramatic, he makes his voice go up
- 1:50Speaker 1: and down, so all of a sudden he'll hit a
- 1:54Speaker 1: high note like that. And then the other thing is
- 1:58Speaker 1: it's one of the characteristics of guys that always lie.
- 2:02Speaker 1: They ask themselves questions and answer them. So as he's talking,
- 2:05Speaker 1: he'll say, what what do we mean when we say democracy?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Well we meet, so a radio show this will be
- 2:14Speaker 1: I hope it happens. It'll be disaster. It's the Cuomo curse.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike, this is the beginning of
- 2:24Speaker 4: Mamdani turning the city into a giant toilet. But as
- 2:29Speaker 4: you mentioned, it's the project has been attempted before. Many
- 2:32Speaker 4: years ago. There was a Spanish company, I believe, and
- 2:34Speaker 4: they put up a bunch of experimental standalone toilets. They
- 2:38Speaker 4: locked after you use them, they self cleaned and then
- 2:42Speaker 4: within one minute cycling they were open again. And they
- 2:45Speaker 4: proposed to the city to build all these around at
- 2:48Speaker 4: their expense. And all they wanted was the rights to
- 2:51Speaker 4: the advertising on the build on these several structures.
- 2:55Speaker 2: And they and they countered.
- 2:57Speaker 4: There was something like eighty seven different authorities that they
- 3:00Speaker 4: had to go to, the homeless, the preservations of the society,
- 3:04Speaker 4: and they said, screw this, We're not doing business with
- 3:06Speaker 4: this crazy city. It's it's insane to get anything built. Yes,
- 3:10Speaker 4: and it disappeared. It was a great project.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Yeah, if you want to make the perfect public toilet
- 3:16Speaker 1: that is easy to clean, indestructible, efficient, I bet And
- 3:19Speaker 1: if you went to some great private company, if you
- 3:22Speaker 1: went to Tim Cook and Apple and they did an
- 3:25Speaker 1: eye toilet for you, it would be phenomenal. But this
- 3:28Speaker 1: is Mom, Donnie and socialist. They'll find some companies in
- 3:32Speaker 1: the Bronx. They'll overpay like crazy. It won't work. We
- 3:35Speaker 1: tried this before, Democrats have tried this. They end upending
- 3:37Speaker 1: eight million a toilet. It doesn't work. It always you say,
- 3:41Speaker 1: well where are they? They're all gone? They didn't work.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Let's go to Bill Lafayette, New Jersey. Bill.
- 3:46Speaker 2: How you doing, Hi, Mark, I'm Mark. A couple of
- 3:50Speaker 2: days ago, there was new footage released about the Minnesota shooting,
- 3:54Speaker 2: about the woman who was shot by the ice agent,
- 3:57Speaker 2: and it looks like it's tampered with. I looked on
- 4:01Speaker 2: Google later on it said tampered footage of shooting release.
- 4:07Speaker 2: And I don't know if you saw that or not.
- 4:08Speaker 2: But everybody was calm and collected, and a passenger got
- 4:12Speaker 2: out of the car and she was cool and got
- 4:15Speaker 2: back in and then all hell broke blue. So do
- 4:17Speaker 2: you know anything about that?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Yeah, there is some tampered, let's just say doctor doctored
- 4:22Speaker 1: footage that's been chopped up and edited a little all
- 4:24Speaker 1: over the internet. There's some where they've added some dialogue
- 4:27Speaker 1: that wasn't there before. Listen, the shooting is totally one
- 4:32Speaker 1: thousand percent justified under every law, in every police department.
- 4:36Speaker 1: The shooting was justified. She drove Adam. The first shot
- 4:41Speaker 1: he fired went through the front windshield, which means he
- 4:44Speaker 1: was in front of the car. It's impossible to fire
- 4:47Speaker 1: through the front windshield if you're on the side. So
- 4:49Speaker 1: she did run at him. She did hit him. Now,
- 4:53Speaker 1: if you talk to the top law enforcement guys in
- 4:55Speaker 1: the world off the record, they'll say, you know, he
- 4:58Speaker 1: really didn't have to fire. He justified, he can, but
- 5:01Speaker 1: probably shouldn't have. You know, let her go and then
- 5:05Speaker 1: you'll catch you a couple of blocks later. I think
- 5:07Speaker 1: from what I hear, even Tom Holman is thinking that
- 5:09Speaker 1: he didn't have to fire. But he's in no legal jeopardy,
- 5:13Speaker 1: totally justified. Homan has been pretty careful in his response.
- 5:18Speaker 1: This is him yesterday.
- 5:20Speaker 5: We need to let this play out. But while we're
- 5:22Speaker 5: doing that, we got to stop the hateful reddit. Sander's officers.
- 5:26Speaker 5: A murderer is dangerous, It's just ridiculous. It's just gonna
- 5:31Speaker 5: and it's going to infuriate people more, which means it's
- 5:35Speaker 5: going to be more insolence like this because the hateful
- 5:38Speaker 5: reddits not only continuing now is tripled down and double duck.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Yeah, again, could have been a little more restraint. You
- 5:43Speaker 1: didn't have to fire. But he's totally justified in firing.
- 5:48Speaker 1: He is in no legal jeopardy. He has committed no
- 5:52Speaker 1: violation of any rule, law, or anything. He is totally
- 5:56Speaker 1: justified in the shooting.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Oh.
- 5:58Speaker 1: When we come back, Ed Rollins will be with us.
- 6:00Speaker 1: We've got a lot to talk to him about President's
- 6:02Speaker 1: next moves. We'll get to the midterms, we'll get to
- 6:04Speaker 1: twenty twenty eight and more. Just ahead on seven to
- 6:07Speaker 1: ten wor
