- 0:00Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's Adam here. And in this episode of The
- 0:43Hypnotist, you're going to be listening to a hypnosis session.
- 0:47That was designed to help a. Client that wanted to launch
- 0:52their podcast get into a state. Where they would.
- 0:57Be very focused. Determined, enthusiastic and do
- 1:02what was. Needed to do to.
- 1:05Not just. Release a podcast and publish a
- 1:08podcast. Episode but to.
- 1:10Have that drive to be consistent, to improve it, to
- 1:14grow it. And one of the things that I
- 1:17found fascinating being a podcast host, I've got a couple
- 1:20of podcasts I started in 2020, so coming up to five years of
- 1:25two podcasts, I think in total nearly 3000 episodes.
- 1:30Is that actually the very first? Episode.
- 1:34Is just to get you going, and what's really, really important
- 1:39isn't. The.
- 1:41Perfectionism of podcast, it's improving the podcasts where you
- 1:47get an opportunity to, and that might be the quality of
- 1:51questions. If you have a guest room, might
- 1:53be the audio quality or the technology or the editing or how
- 1:58you create assets from it. There's all these things that
- 2:00you can do to improve, but what's really important is that
- 2:05podcasting is a game of consistency.
- 2:09It's if you stay in the game long enough, then you get better
- 2:14and this client. I could tell because.
- 2:18You know, I've been in a position where I was thinking
- 2:21about a podcast, but not actually publishing anything.
- 2:26And that is, it's possible to overthink and and get lost in
- 2:30all of the. Traps.
- 2:33Of perfectionism and thinking. Every detail matters and it can
- 2:38matter, but you don't know what's the important things
- 2:40until you get going. So this.
- 2:42Uses a metaphor of a rising tide.
- 2:45It uses a metaphor of training for a marathon.
- 2:49And I think I like both of these things because.
- 2:52A good. Podcast has some kind of
- 2:55positive impact. You're adding value to the
- 2:57world. But equally, it's not a Sprint.
- 3:01It's not. I mean, if you imagine going to
- 3:03the gym, nobody would believe that you could go to the gym
- 3:07once and suddenly you're fit and healthy or strong.
- 3:11It has the premise that you do it regularly.
- 3:14And I think podcasts have that same connotation.
- 3:17It's something you do over time and then you get better by doing
- 3:20it and you build an audience. And I would say the number of
- 3:25people listening to this that actually want to kind of publish
- 3:28their own podcast or launch their own content, whatever that
- 3:32might be. It might be a TikTok channel or
- 3:34an Instagram channel, probably fairly small, but I would say
- 3:39almost everyone listening to this probably has some kind of
- 3:43big dream, big goal that they're currently procrastinating on
- 3:47because they're not quite ready yet.
- 3:49And I would encourage you to think of that when listening to
- 3:54this because it might just get you to go from inertia to action
- 4:00taking, knowing that it doesn't have to be perfect, you can just
- 4:03improve it while you're going on the journey.
- 4:06Obviously this was created for a specific client, a podcaster,
- 4:11but if you like the idea of a bespoke tailor made session to
- 4:14you, there will be a link in the show notes where you can
- 4:17schedule that free consultation call to explore working with me.
- 4:20For now though, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 4:23won't be disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 5:01Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in a
- 5:10resourceful feeling of calm and relaxation.
- 5:15And as you exhale, feel a wonderful feeling of release,
- 5:25not just releasing the breath, but releasing any tension, any
- 5:32stress, any worries. Just feel it.
- 5:38Leave your body in that outward breath.
- 5:42And when you breathe in, breathe in deeper than you normally
- 5:49would. But imagine breathing in a
- 5:52wonderful feeling of confidence and resourcefulness.
- 6:00Imagine it going in through your nose down into your lungs, and
- 6:05imagine your. Heart distributing that.
- 6:07Resourcefulness, that confidence to every cell in your body.
- 6:12And as you exhale, scan your body for any clues of tension,
- 6:18any echoes of anxiety, and just imagine that being released and
- 6:25imagine it leaving your body in the outward breath, enabling.
- 6:33You to feel. Deeper and deeper, relaxed, but
- 6:38also more resourceful with each and every breath.
- 6:49And the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you become.
- 6:54The more relaxed you become, the more your imagination awakens as
- 7:05you breathe in and breathe out. I want you to use the power of
- 7:12your imagination to imagine yourself standing on the shore
- 7:19of a vast ocean. Imagine a sunny day with Chris
- 7:25Bear. Maybe you can imagine feeling
- 7:30soft sand beneath your feet, the sunshine on your skin, the
- 7:37hearing of the gentle breaking of the waves.
- 7:45And as you look out to the ocean, all the way to the line
- 7:48of the horizon, see how it stretches endlessly, the waves
- 7:57rising and falling in a soothing rhythm, I want you to get a
- 8:04sense that the ocean can represent whatever feels
- 8:15significant for you. An ocean of possibility.
- 8:21Or perhaps the impact of the world, people, audiences.
- 8:37Allow the sound of the waves to feel like it's whispering to
- 8:44you, a calling, drawing your attention inward, maybe guiding
- 8:54you toward your purpose. You know what that is?
- 9:01It's a quiet, steady pull, like the tide, reminding you that you
- 9:11have a calling, a purpose. You are part of something
- 9:17bigger, something meaningful. And as you listen to the
- 9:22whisper, as you focus on this calling, notice how your
- 9:27breathing becomes deeper, steadier, and your body begins
- 9:34to relax even more. Somehow you are synchronized,
- 9:40connected to the rhythm of the ocean, to its vast potential and
- 9:46infinite power. And maybe you could imagine
- 9:51walking along the shoreline, but with each step feel a growing
- 9:58sense of peace and clarity. Then maybe you can notice the
- 10:04tide beginning to rise, inching higher along the shore.
- 10:12As it rises, it carries with it a feeling of momentum and
- 10:18potential. The tide is connected.
- 10:25The tide is lifting everything around it, Small boats,
- 10:31driftwood, even the energy within you is all rising.
- 10:41With each step along the shore. You feel more connected to the
- 10:46power of this rising tide, knowing that it represents
- 10:52something significant. Your calling, your potential,
- 10:58your ability to lift not only yourself but also others through
- 11:07your actions. And I wonder if you can imagine
- 11:13now that the tide is somehow connected to your podcast, your
- 11:22voice, your message, a calling that is uniquely yours.
- 11:29And maybe you realise that by answering this call, the
- 11:35consequence of delivering a powerful message to people that
- 11:40need to hear it, you create a rising tide that lifts all
- 11:48boats. Your voice, your stories, your
- 11:55interviews, they all contribute to this tide, lifting the lives
- 12:02of those who listen. Each episode you create.
- 12:11Just imagine feeling the ripple effect, spreading outward,
- 12:16touching lives in ways you may not even fully understand or
- 12:21comprehend, but just have this deep, intuitive feeling that
- 12:27what you do matters. And maybe you could imagine
- 12:34yourself standing right at the edge of this rising tide.
- 12:41And I want you to feel that the tools and resources you need are
- 12:46already within reach. The microphones, the technology,
- 12:51your ideas and your passion, they're all ready for you,
- 12:57waiting for you to turn a thought into reality, to turn a
- 13:05possibility into something that is real, that can be listened to
- 13:14anywhere in the world. I want you to get a sandstone.
- 13:26What if you weren't just standing on this shore?
- 13:30What if you were running by the shore?
- 13:33What if you were training for a marathon by the sea?
- 13:40Running a marathon isn't something you can do just
- 13:44because you want to. Some people train for weeks and
- 13:48months, each run slightly longer than the last.
- 13:55It takes practice. Training and consistency.
- 13:59Each run builds endurance, strengthens muscles, teaches you
- 14:06something new, and the aches and pains and blisters that come
- 14:11from that training lead to resilience, stronger skin,
- 14:19stronger muscles, stamina and mental fortitude to do even more
- 14:29difficult runs. So imagine running there on the
- 14:35shore by the side of the ocean. And then imagine the second run
- 14:42is easier than the first, and the third run easier still.
- 14:51That if it was a requirement to run a marathon on your very
- 14:54first run, nobody would do it. But the first run simply leads
- 15:00to the second run, each run giving you more strength and
- 15:04belief than the run before. And maybe after 50 or 60
- 15:12practice runs, you've unleashed all of the resources that were
- 15:19laying dormant within you to run that marathon.
- 15:27By being consistent, by doing something difficult, by going
- 15:33beyond the comfort zone, something that once would have
- 15:38seemed impossible not only is achievable, but deeply
- 15:45rewarding. And maybe you can think of your
- 15:49podcast like a marathon, that the first episode may have
- 15:59technical glitches and problems, audio levels too high, your
- 16:07things recorded not in the right way.
- 16:08But what if the point of that was to do the next one and get
- 16:14better? Each recording teaches you
- 16:20something to improve the next one.
- 16:25Your consistency becomes your superpower.
- 16:30Doing it and learning from it and doing it again and learning
- 16:36from that. I want you to get a sense that
- 16:43the 100th podcast that you publish will be exponentially
- 16:49better than the first, and the 300th will be so much better
- 16:56than the 100th. I want you to get a sense that
- 17:04your podcast is not a Sprint, it's not a walk in the park.
- 17:08It's something challenging and difficult that most people don't
- 17:16have the courage or the discipline or the determination
- 17:20to do. You are in the elite.
- 17:24You are in the top 1%. You're voluntarily choosing to
- 17:29do something difficult that has a positive ripple effect on the
- 17:34world. Your voice creates that rising
- 17:40tide that lifts all boats. Allow your unconscious mind to
- 17:47feel like it's unlocking all of the resources necessary to do
- 17:52the best you can with what you have, with a willingness to
- 17:56learn and improve as you go. And if you're unconscious is
- 18:02willing to help you on this long journey, let me know by nodding
- 18:05your head. So imagine publishing that first
- 18:15episode, maybe seeing messages or the support from people.
- 18:26And then imagine the 2nd episode.
- 18:31It reaches a point where the novelty will wear off, but the
- 18:38fulfilment will grow stronger and stronger.
- 18:45You're not doing this for yourself, you're doing it to
- 18:49impact a life that you may never meet.
- 18:55Each guest, each story, each idea you share adds to the
- 19:00rising tide, lifting others higher and higher while you also
- 19:08evolve. You evolve into an incrementally
- 19:15better version of yourself because it's not possible to
- 19:21help the world without also helping yourself while you're on
- 19:29the journey. So imagine messages, feedback
- 19:35you'll receive, maybe a story from a listener who's been
- 19:42lifted by your words. Maybe even a life you've saved
- 19:47that came as a direct result of something you put out into the
- 19:52world. Imagine feeling the pride, the
- 19:56joy of knowing that. You are fulfilling your calling.
- 20:04You are a rising tide that lifts all boats.
- 20:09You're running a marathon that inspires others to follow.
- 20:12And if you can imagine that compelling future, the impact of
- 20:21your actions, the ripple effect, the rising tide, let me know by
- 20:26nodding your head. So imagine resting by the ocean,
- 20:34seeing the tide higher than it's ever been, seeing all the boats
- 20:40all risen by that tide, and feel a real sense of accomplishment,
- 20:49of pride, of significance within yourself.
- 20:56And allow yourself to harness and harvest that as you bring
- 21:00your attention back to the present, to the here and now.
- 21:04No longer. By the coast, but here in the
- 21:07present as you take a deep breath in through your nose and
- 21:14now through your nose, just gently wiggle your fingers and
- 21:17wiggle your toes. Start to calibrate and connect
- 21:19to the here and now as I count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken
- 21:23you. You will awaken feeling
- 21:26confident, motivated, resourceful, unstoppable, a
- 21:32willingness to do what needs to be done no matter what adversity
- 21:38you encounter on the way. Starting to count 123 Waking up
- 21:46456 more alert 7-8. Open your eyes.
- 21:51Open your eyes 910 Wide awake, Wide awake.
- 21:56Wide awake. Thank you for listening to The
