- 0:00Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 0:03Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will

- 1:00Speaker 3: Your financial education because it sounds like you take me
- 1:02Speaker 3: as a very inquisitive person, wanted to know when when
- 1:06Speaker 3: did your financial education begin or did you come into
- 1:09Speaker 3: the league with knowledge?
- 1:10Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:10Speaker 3: Because so like this is one of those I when
- 1:14Speaker 3: I just heard you say that that it was trash,
- 1:16Speaker 3: my first thought was like, is this intentional?
- 1:19Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:19Speaker 3: Because if I don't educate you, then I can always
- 1:21Speaker 3: use you as my customer right until you become educated.
- 1:23Speaker 3: And now you might see less people getting agents, or
- 1:27Speaker 3: less people's going in the direction that somebody's pointing to
- 1:30Speaker 3: them so they don't get taken advantage of. And so
- 1:32Speaker 3: did you have to go through things to get your
- 1:34Speaker 3: financial education?
- 1:36Speaker 5: I mean there's a process for sure, you know. I mean,
- 1:39Speaker 5: I mean my dad was was was like he was
- 1:42Speaker 5: in caun for he worked for RS per period of time,
- 1:46Speaker 5: but you know, I mean he was He did a
- 1:47Speaker 5: lot of different things. He was doing computers and stuff,
- 1:49Speaker 5: but like one thing he did try to do is
- 1:50Speaker 5: start businesses. He taught us a lot about sales, but
- 1:53Speaker 5: he didn't really teach us about business as a whole,
- 1:55Speaker 5: you know. And you know, he passed away while I
- 1:58Speaker 5: was seventeen, and you know, sh I could have probably
- 2:00Speaker 5: pied his brain a little bit more because I felt
- 2:01Speaker 5: her loves knowledge.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Very smart, very smart guy.
- 2:05Speaker 5: But you know, when I got to the NFL, you know,
- 2:07Speaker 5: I mean, I mean pretty much like I mean, you're
- 2:09Speaker 5: on your own. Nobody's telling you anything, and like, you know,
- 2:12Speaker 5: the starts kind of like you pick a financial advisor
- 2:14Speaker 5: because you're supposed to, just because that's what everybut is doing.
- 2:16Speaker 5: And you pick a guy based off of, you know,
- 2:18Speaker 5: just your network, your network, you know. So my network
- 2:20Speaker 5: was University of Miami. I picked a guy because of
- 2:22Speaker 5: John Bison, you know, and he was a first round
- 2:24Speaker 5: picked heear before and he went through the process I
- 2:26Speaker 5: was getting reay to go through. So I asked him, like, yo,
- 2:28Speaker 5: who's your guy? And he told me this guy and
- 2:30Speaker 5: I had all these people coming at me, they all
- 2:31Speaker 5: sound the same because I don't know anything, and so
- 2:34Speaker 5: I just hire his guy just because you know, he
- 2:36Speaker 5: hired him, you know. And it's kind of funny because
- 2:37Speaker 5: like I remember having a conversation with him and I
- 2:39Speaker 5: asked him, like, what made you hire him in the
- 2:40Speaker 5: first place? He said, I hired him because I forgot
- 2:43Speaker 5: what was But the person that he knew.
- 2:44Speaker 4: Was Jonathan Gilma.
- 2:47Speaker 5: You guys, yeah, yeah, and but it was it's just
- 2:52Speaker 5: you know, I asked him, like, did you do any
- 2:54Speaker 5: do diligence, Like what made you hire him? He was like, nah,
- 2:56Speaker 5: you know, and I was like, why are you doing
- 2:57Speaker 5: do THEGC? Like we just hired a guy just for
- 2:59Speaker 5: the heck of it, you know. Now, I mean that guy,
- 3:02Speaker 5: you know might be you know, a really good guy. Uh,
- 3:05Speaker 5: you know, might have been a really good guy, a
- 3:07Speaker 5: really good financial advisor, but at the time I had no.
- 3:09Speaker 4: Idea because I had no knowledge.
- 3:10Speaker 5: And I worked with him for a couple of years
- 3:12Speaker 5: and then he you know, he had a mistake that
- 3:14Speaker 5: you know, to me just wasn't you couldn't have And
- 3:16Speaker 5: so I ended up uh firing him and hire somebody
- 3:19Speaker 5: else that was kind of a teacher to me. So
- 3:21Speaker 5: the person I ended up was, you know, he tried
- 3:22Speaker 5: to get my business, but I didn't go up with
- 3:24Speaker 5: him originally, but he stayed around and like every time
- 3:27Speaker 5: I had questions with the other guy was doing another
- 3:29Speaker 5: guy kind of like he made it sound complicated, you know,
- 3:31Speaker 5: and I was like, you know, I'm trying to understand it,
- 3:33Speaker 5: so break it down for me. And then so, you know,
- 3:35Speaker 5: the other guy that I ended up signing to with
- 3:37Speaker 5: more recently, and I've been with him the whole time
- 3:39Speaker 5: since he started like making it breaking it down for me,
- 3:41Speaker 5: like this, what this means, this is what that means.
- 3:42Speaker 5: You know, this is why you do this, you know,
- 3:44Speaker 5: and just started kind of going to it, and you know,
- 3:46Speaker 5: I mean it was like, I mean, you know so
- 3:48Speaker 5: many different sectors of it. I'm like, man, you know,
- 3:50Speaker 5: you know, I mean, I want to know it. So,
- 3:52Speaker 5: you know, after a while, like he started making it
- 3:54Speaker 5: sound simple enough to me where I was like, Okay,
- 3:56Speaker 5: let me put some money with you.
- 3:58Speaker 3: ERNs.

- 6:46Speaker 2: Be protected sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 6:48Speaker 5: You know, And it was like, you know what, we
- 6:50Speaker 5: put all my money, which you you know, so they
- 6:51Speaker 5: kind of went away. But it's kind of funny though,
- 6:53Speaker 5: because I won't say any nimes because the guy originally
- 6:56Speaker 5: went with, you know, he still has a lot of
- 6:58Speaker 5: guys out there, and I try to talk to those
- 6:59Speaker 5: guys individually about my story, and I don't through the
- 7:02Speaker 5: guy's a shark from like my experience, but I think
- 7:03Speaker 5: he's a good dude. I think you about it generally,
- 7:05Speaker 5: just made a mistake, but back then, like that will
- 7:07Speaker 5: encourage you to like pay your bills for you, and
- 7:10Speaker 5: so like everything was just going through account that he
- 7:13Speaker 5: was setting up, so I didn't even like, you don't have.
- 7:14Speaker 4: To look at it if you don't want to expand
- 7:15Speaker 4: for everything.
- 7:16Speaker 5: And then one day I'm going through myself because I
- 7:19Speaker 5: you know, I had a new enough to hide myself,
- 7:20Speaker 5: Like I was gonna go through my account and really
- 7:22Speaker 5: check and see what was being spent off all my bills.
- 7:25Speaker 5: I'm going through my stuff. I see fifty thousand dollars
- 7:28Speaker 5: just missing that I don't know what it's going for.
- 7:30Speaker 5: So I call him up and he was like, oh,
- 7:31Speaker 5: I'm gonna take out one of the other player's accounts.
- 7:34Speaker 5: You know, I just made a mistake. You know, I'm
- 7:35Speaker 5: gonna put it back here right now. And he did,
- 7:37Speaker 5: and you know, and to me, it was just like,
- 7:40Speaker 5: I don't know if you're in competent.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Where did it go? He said it was for one
- 7:44Speaker 4: of his other players, his grandfathers or something.
- 7:45Speaker 6: Oh he sent it to another player. He's send it
- 7:47Speaker 6: to another situation.
- 7:48Speaker 5: Yeah, it was supposed to be at another player's account,
- 7:50Speaker 5: going to his grandfather, according to what he said. And
- 7:53Speaker 5: to me, it's just like, you know, you can't make
- 7:54Speaker 5: that mistake, you know, if I don't go on and
- 7:56Speaker 5: look at this, you know, I mean, you know, and
- 7:58Speaker 5: not just missing it, you know, And I don't know,
- 8:00Speaker 5: I can't. I mean, you're telling me that it's just
- 8:02Speaker 5: honest mistake. But from outside, like either you were trying
- 8:05Speaker 5: to get over on me or you just you know,
- 8:07Speaker 5: Jamuly just were incompetition.
- 8:09Speaker 6: It's like it's like the movie Casino, Yes, Casino. Yeah,
- 8:12Speaker 6: when Sam Ross team he fired the guy at the
- 8:16Speaker 6: at the slot machine. They was robbing the slot machine,
- 8:19Speaker 6: and he sat him down. He said, it's one of
- 8:20Speaker 6: two things that's happening here. Either you're in on it
- 8:24Speaker 6: or you're incompetent to realize what's going on. Either way,
- 8:26Speaker 6: I can't trust you at this point exactly exactly what
- 8:29Speaker 6: it is, exactly you know what I'm saying.
- 8:31Speaker 4: I gotta let you go. Sure you want to do that?
- 8:34Speaker 6: Same didn't work, It didn't work out.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Somebody is tough though, like you ain't like I'm a
- 8:39Speaker 5: football player, you know, I ain't no, I ain't no ceo,
- 8:42Speaker 5: I ain't no you know, businessman at the time at least.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a football player. That's all my knowledge is,
- 8:46Speaker 4: you know.
- 8:47Speaker 5: And I went to school for advertising, like I ain't
- 8:49Speaker 5: going through school for business and nothing. So the whole
- 8:51Speaker 5: process was like it was, it was hard, you know,
- 8:53Speaker 5: it was an adjustment, you know. But then you know,
- 8:54Speaker 5: if you go through it like I want that bad,
- 8:56Speaker 5: you know, like you just got to go through it,
- 8:57Speaker 5: you know, And so I end up going with it.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Another guy that was he was teaching me and stuff,
- 9:02Speaker 5: and we've been together ever since and he's been a
- 9:04Speaker 5: great mentor for me, and we've done, you know, a
- 9:06Speaker 5: lot of great things together. And I mean now I
- 9:07Speaker 5: feel like my knowledge to be able to speak the
- 9:09Speaker 5: language and to understand it is you know, I mean,
- 9:12Speaker 5: way better than you know it has been in probably
- 9:14Speaker 5: I feel like I sitting in any room and have
- 9:16Speaker 5: a conversation with any businessman and be.
- 9:18Speaker 6: Homeown After that, did you stop with the bill payment?
- 9:21Speaker 4: Yeah? Yeah, no, nevermore. I'll pay my own bills.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Sometimes my credit could have been a lot better, because
- 9:26Speaker 5: there's definitely times just because of being a human fort
- 9:28Speaker 5: opening my mail and stuff and missing things. Yeah, I
- 9:31Speaker 5: have to deal with, you know, missing some bills and
- 9:33Speaker 5: you know, having to pay him later and stuff. So
- 9:35Speaker 5: I mean, I just I'll take that, though I'd rather,
- 9:37Speaker 5: you know, my credit corp w be you know, seven
- 9:40Speaker 5: hundred instead of eight fifty, because you know, I forgot
- 9:43Speaker 5: the path for some bills or whatever it might be.
- 9:45Speaker 4: So.
