- 0:00Speaker 1: I have to correct something I said earlier. I talked
- 0:02Speaker 1: about James vanderbeks wife get married three months after he died,
- 0:04Speaker 1: which is what I saw when I was scrolling. That
- 0:06Speaker 1: was the headline, James Vanderbeeks's wife gets married three months
- 0:09Speaker 1: after he passed, apparently. And I'm getting lots of messages,
- 0:12Speaker 1: text and DM. It was his first wife, not the
- 0:14Speaker 1: wife he was married to when he died. But just
- 0:17Speaker 1: always these news services, right, it was a incredible news
- 0:20Speaker 1: source and it was like, just made me.
- 0:23Speaker 2: It's such a shame.
- 0:24Speaker 1: And this is why you call it fake news because
- 0:26Speaker 1: it was like, literally a credible news source that said
- 0:28Speaker 1: and they're not I guess they're not lying, but they
- 0:30Speaker 1: don't tell the first the whole story. Hey, we got
- 0:33Speaker 1: tickets to Gracy Abrams is gonna be heck of my show.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I'd love her, April, you are a contestant.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Good morning, Hey, how are you guys?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Fantastic?
- 0:41Speaker 1: So Gracie Abrams, she'll be here June third, we've got
- 0:44Speaker 1: Oh no, I'm sorry, that's not true. She'll be here
- 0:46Speaker 1: at Desert Diamond Arena in December. Capitol cardholders get exclusive
- 0:50Speaker 1: access to tickets beginning Wednesday, but you can win them
- 0:54Speaker 1: for free right now, April, if you can guess this game,
- 0:57Speaker 1: which is one of us is lying. So those four
- 0:59Speaker 1: of us, studio, we're each going to tell you a story.
- 1:01Speaker 1: They're all true except for one. Okay, all right, so
- 1:05Speaker 1: pick one of us and they'll tell you the story.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Okay, Rich Okay, this just came up yesterday. In fact,
- 1:12Speaker 3: I confirmed this with my dad because I was telling
- 1:14Speaker 3: my wife Stacy about my family dynamic and how many
- 1:18Speaker 3: cousins I have and how I'm the last one to
- 1:20Speaker 3: come around. Everything's kind of jumbled. So the story is
- 1:24Speaker 3: my mom's sister, who was the oldest, had a child
- 1:29Speaker 3: who had a child before my mom was born. So
- 1:33Speaker 3: my mom's playmate growing up was her sister's grandchild, pretty
- 1:38Speaker 3: far apart. And I had to confirm that with my
- 1:41Speaker 3: dad yesterday and he said, one hundred percent true. That
- 1:43Speaker 3: is my story for you.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Okay, Now you got Peyton, Kyle and me, John Jay.
- 1:49Speaker 2: I'm going to go with Kyle. Okay.
- 1:53Speaker 4: I actually once caught my boyfriend cheating by going through
- 1:56Speaker 4: his trash.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Okay, Peyton, Okay.
- 2:00Speaker 5: So my mom the other day, she was like driving
- 2:03Speaker 5: me up a wall, literally insane, just texting me, spamming me.
- 2:06Speaker 5: So I changed her contact to do not Answer. I
- 2:08Speaker 5: don't know why I didn't just put her on do
- 2:10Speaker 5: not disturb or something. Anyways, Meanwhile, a couple hours later,
- 2:14Speaker 5: me and Kadem we go to dinner and I'm sitting there,
- 2:17Speaker 5: We're just chatting, and my phone rings and he says,
- 2:19Speaker 5: do not answer. And I had to literally convince my
- 2:22Speaker 5: husband that I wasn't stepping out on him, that this
- 2:24Speaker 5: wasn't some random dude that I'd been talking to on
- 2:27Speaker 5: the side, and that it was actually just my mom.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Okay, John Jay.
- 2:33Speaker 1: In two thousand and six and two thousand and seven,
- 2:36Speaker 1: I was very good friends with Paris Hilton and very
- 2:39Speaker 1: good friends with magician Chris Angel separately. At some point
- 2:44Speaker 1: they both started dating each other, and they were both
- 2:47Speaker 1: calling me asking me for advice on each other, and
- 2:49Speaker 1: I had them both on the line at different times,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and I had to click over be like, hold on
- 2:53Speaker 1: a second, and I click over, Okay, Chris what and Chris,
- 2:55Speaker 1: she's just so whatever I and I click over and
- 2:57Speaker 1: Paris to be like, what do you think I should
- 2:59Speaker 1: do about Chris?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Hold on a second?
- 3:00Speaker 1: And now I don't talk to either of them. Okay,
- 3:05Speaker 1: and it was all over the populas, but it was
- 3:07Speaker 1: all over TMZ that they were dating, and I was
- 3:09Speaker 1: the person that was involved with their lives.
- 3:11Speaker 2: But anyway, go ahead.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Hey, I don't feel like Paris Hilton dated him, so
- 3:17Speaker 3: I think.
- 3:17Speaker 5: I want to go with you, John Jay.
- 3:18Speaker 2: My story is true. Oh my gosh, I don't know
- 3:22Speaker 2: that that was happening during the show. During the show,
- 3:24Speaker 2: I have.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Some really date.
- 3:26Speaker 2: That's why it was.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Really crazy and I was in the middle of it
- 3:28Speaker 1: and it was so uncomfortable. That's why I've made my
- 3:30Speaker 1: circle even smaller, less drama.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Okay, was it you, Kyle?
- 3:36Speaker 4: It was not me. I did Oh my gosh, you're
- 3:39Speaker 4: cheating by going through his garbage?
- 3:40Speaker 2: What did you find?
- 3:41Speaker 4: I went to go visit him. It was a long
- 3:42Speaker 4: distance relationship. I went to go visit him, and I
- 3:45Speaker 4: waited till he left for work, and I just started
- 3:48Speaker 4: snooping everywhere. I went through restorers, went through his closet,
- 3:51Speaker 4: and finally I was like, forget, I'm going through the trash.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I went deep in the trash and I found this
- 3:54Speaker 4: gift basket with a note from a girl, and I
- 3:57Speaker 4: was like, oh, you little.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Scout trash in like his house, or as you go
- 4:01Speaker 1: to the back to where the trash can was in.
- 4:03Speaker 4: His house because it was like an apartment, so I
- 4:05Speaker 4: didn't go through the dumpster or anything like that, but
- 4:07Speaker 4: I did.
- 4:07Speaker 2: It's still a gift basket in the trash.
- 4:10Speaker 5: You would think he would have taken.
- 4:11Speaker 2: It out before you got you Okay, that least.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Peyton and Rich, Oh my god, this is so terrible.
- 4:21Speaker 2: I feel like Rich went into a lot of detail,
- 4:23Speaker 2: but he does that a lot, so.
- 4:25Speaker 3: I feel like that might be true.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what, Peyton, I.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Don't see you putting your mom as do not pick
- 4:31Speaker 4: up or whatever it was.
- 4:32Speaker 5: Yep, you're right. I am a totally lying not.
- 4:36Speaker 2: All good job. You know, we actually turned off Riches Mike.
- 4:40Speaker 2: He's still telling that story.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Stop out.
- 4:43Speaker 1: I'm sure.
- 4:48Speaker 2: All right. Will you get the Gracy Abrams tickets? Congratulations, April, awesome,
- 4:52Speaker 2: Thank you guys so much.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Have a great Monday.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Yeah, thanks for listening. Gracie Abrams will be here.
- 4:57Speaker 1: You can get your tickets for anybody else right now
- 4:58Speaker 1: if you are a Capital one car holder. I'm not
- 5:01Speaker 1: sure exactly. Oh, she should be here in December anyway.
- 5:07Speaker 1: What else is going on.
- 5:09Speaker 2: I do have a story to tell you guys.
- 5:11Speaker 1: You know, I'm interviewing on my podcast today Danny Dixon.
- 5:16Speaker 2: You ever heard of Dixon Flannels.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Yeah, one of my mom's good friends. And I think
- 5:21Speaker 5: like the c f O or CEO or something of
- 5:23Speaker 5: that company, or I worked really high up with them.
- 5:26Speaker 2: This guy.
- 5:26Speaker 1: So I met him at a son's game and he
- 5:30Speaker 1: looks like probably one of the coolest human beings ever.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Just by looking at him.
- 5:35Speaker 1: So he hit it off and he's gonna be I'm
- 5:36Speaker 1: interviewing him today and I went to his so a
- 5:39Speaker 1: long time ago.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I went to his store.
- 5:41Speaker 1: He has a store here in Tempe, and I thought
- 5:44Speaker 1: it was by Tempe Marketplace. So when Blake was with me,
- 5:46Speaker 1: we had to go put our dog down. I was
- 5:48Speaker 1: so sad, so sad. I was like, Hey, I'm interviewing
- 5:51Speaker 1: Danny Dixon. I'd like to get one of his shirts.
- 5:53Speaker 1: I have two of his shirts already from a long
- 5:55Speaker 1: time ago, but they're really really big and they're flannel,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and I don't know if checker looks good on camera,
- 6:00Speaker 1: you know, the camera people freak out on whatever. So
- 6:03Speaker 1: I went to a store, but I was he moved
- 6:06Speaker 1: a store, and if you guys get a chance to
- 6:08Speaker 1: go to the store, it's unbelievable. It is humongous, and
- 6:13Speaker 1: he has thousands and thousands of different flannels, and I
- 6:16Speaker 1: guess that's it. When they run out, they run out
- 6:18Speaker 1: of that flannel. But the store is the coolest store.
- 6:22Speaker 1: And the truck that he has in the front of
- 6:23Speaker 1: the store, I've never seen a truck like this before.
- 6:25Speaker 2: And anyway, it's just it's called Dixon Flannel. And I
- 6:29Speaker 2: think he's one of the top. Are you look at
- 6:30Speaker 2: him up or something? What do you see?
- 6:32Speaker 5: Yeah? I just see like him and his family, and
- 6:35Speaker 5: I mean, he seems like he's a pretty cool guy.
- 6:37Speaker 5: Danny founded Dixon in twenty thirteen.
- 6:39Speaker 3: Yeah, oh, lot's of new newer compact ie them.
- 6:43Speaker 1: I feel like I've had his shirts for at least
- 6:45Speaker 1: ten years, which I'm wrong because I mean, I mean,
- 6:48Speaker 1: I got you know, you could be right.
- 6:49Speaker 3: It's been a business for what thirteen years?
- 6:51Speaker 2: Then?
- 6:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's uh, I feel like I've heard about
- 6:54Speaker 3: that company longer than ten years.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Because I thought'd be cool. I'm an interview and I'm
- 6:56Speaker 1: gonna wear one of his shirts. You should totally do
- 6:58Speaker 1: that Oh I did, I wouldn't bought some other day.
- 7:00Speaker 1: So I definitely recommend if you're looking for a flannel.
- 7:03Speaker 2: They have other stuff.
- 7:04Speaker 1: They have socks, they got bars of soap, they've got shorts,
- 7:08Speaker 1: leather jackets like. He used to be a mechanic for
- 7:10Speaker 1: Harley Davidson and he started this line of flann Yeah, yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 1: oh man.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And anyway, I'll have more tomorrow, but I want to
- 7:17Speaker 2: tell you.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Something that had happened after I left his store, and
- 7:22Speaker 1: I'll probably do that later.
- 7:24Speaker 2: I'm not gonna do it now because I want to.
- 7:26Speaker 1: I want to incorporate my podcast with him to tell
- 7:29Speaker 1: you about it.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Anyway, long story short,
