Latest / Brett Keane and Eve Show / Fallout Television Show VS Reality Review
Transcript
- 0:01Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Brett Keane and
- 0:04you are watching and listening to God TV Radio.
- 0:08I hope you're all having a
- 0:09wonderful day out there. I just got done finishing the
- 0:14entire season of the Fallout television show. And
- 0:19still to this day, after all these years of playing
- 0:23every Fallout game that has ever existed, it surprises
- 0:27me the similarity between reality and the Fallout
- 0:33series. The entire concept and idea for
- 0:38people who've actually played the games and people
- 0:41who've actually watched the show, you pretty much get
- 0:44the idea that the government has pretty much
- 0:47wasted all their resources, wasted all their money, and
- 0:51corporations have literally taken over. And
- 0:55corporations, because they have all the money, the
- 0:57government relies on the corporations in order to
- 1:01get what they need. Well, unfortunately, sometimes
- 1:05corporations have really bad ideas, as does government,
- 1:09where they choose to do things that are not good
- 1:12or beneficial for the people. While
- 1:15at the same time, continuously advertising and
- 1:19selling this idea of an American dream of caring
- 1:23about people and caring about tradition and caring
- 1:26about culture, but all the while in the background,
- 1:32they're considering what's only best for themselves,
- 1:36even if it means ending the lives of everyone on
- 1:40Earth in order for them to have their own little piece
- 1:44of the pie. It's sad and it's scary, but in
- 1:49reality, that's always exactly what it's been. A
- 1:52government telling us that it wants us to be safe,
- 1:56that it cares about our security, but it does the
- 1:59total opposite. We can see that in America
- 2:03today. We can see that our wall has
- 2:08not been built. The country is absolutely open
- 2:12to any enemy and any terrorist and any bad
- 2:16person that wants to come in and cause trouble. We
- 2:19can see that our country likes to send our military
- 2:23and our children over to countless wars that are
- 2:27never ending. Just the results are always the
- 2:31same. War never changes. The
- 2:33outcome is everybody ends up dead. You
- 2:37end up with entire villages, cities, towns,
- 2:40tribes, absolutely vanquished and blown up, which is
- 2:43what we can see between Iran, Israel, Russia, and
- 2:49pretty much Gaza. Anytime the government's involved
- 2:54with anything or politics, it's always, oh, we want
- 2:57to do best. We want to do what is
- 2:59humanely good for all. But that's not the way it is,
- 3:05is it? I can't tell you how many
- 3:07countless times I've looked on Twitter and I've seen,
- 3:11apparently, a lot of these people from Gaza, they have
- 3:15the ability, they have phones where they can
- 3:17record themselves and you see these people holding
- 3:20their babies and their children and people talking
- 3:24about how their hospitals were bombed and shit. And
- 3:27even if there were terrorists who were hiding
- 3:30out in the hospitals, this doesn't necessarily argue
- 3:33that the hostages or the children inside had anything
- 3:38to do with it, but that's what we say to ourselves,
- 3:42don't we? We justify it. Well,
- 3:45Fallout, pretty much, is a story of a future that
- 3:51awaits. Obviously, America is going to want
- 3:55to put its original elite and bunker -type things like
- 3:59vaults, like Fallout's got, and it would want to
- 4:03protect its scientists and its people that are
- 4:07considered important or relevant to the progress,
- 4:11as they call it, the agenda, the message. And
- 4:17it is what it is. I kind of laughed to myself
- 4:21recently because the homosexual community,
- 4:24literally, has wrote negative letters to the
- 4:28people who created the show, Fallout, saying they
- 4:31don't feel like their homosexuality was represented
- 4:35in the show. This is a show about the end
- 4:38of the world and people trying to pick up the
- 4:42pieces and people just trying to fucking survive,
- 4:44and the homosexuals are worried about if their butt
- 4:49-plugging abilities and desires and sexual ambitions
- 4:53are portrayed in the show. Interesting,
- 4:57right? Selfish, disgusting people who
- 5:02absolutely don't give a fuck about what it means
- 5:08to live in a world like that. The
- 5:10last thing that people are going to be thinking about
- 5:12whenever their families are on fire and the world's
- 5:16coming to a fucking end is who can they fucking the
- 5:19butt? Or who can they have a
- 5:22lesbian relationship with? Basically,
- 5:25what I'm telling you is whether you're straight or
- 5:27homosexual, the last fucking thing you're going to think
- 5:30about is who you can get romantically involved with
- 5:33or have a sexual relationship. Anybody
- 5:36that's ever played any of these series knows that
- 5:39Fallout isn't about who you have sex with unless you're
- 5:43one of these fucking nerds that mod that kind of shit
- 5:46and that garbage into the game. So
- 5:50it is what it is. The storyline, unfortunately,
- 5:55because it is after a video game, a lot of it
- 5:58is very predictable. A lot of it is very
- 6:00familiar. But it was well acted. The
- 6:04storyline was good. It didn't try to veer off
- 6:08from what Fallout is actually about. It
- 6:12stuck with the source material, which is something
- 6:14that a lot of movies and television nowadays like to
- 6:19say fuck it and just do their own thing and steal
- 6:23some of the props and ideas from original stories.
- 6:26So it was good to see them
- 6:28do right by Fallout. And I really, really hope that
- 6:33the second season actually comes out. And
- 6:35I hope that the show continues to run well where
- 6:40it could literally go on forever. Because
- 6:43I think with all the different topics that fall
- 6:46out and Bethesda games cover, you'll never run out
- 6:51of ideas. You've got everything from your
- 6:54robots to your people who are surviving to people
- 6:59trying to do right and some people thinking they're
- 7:02doing right, but they're actually doing wrong. You've
- 7:04got every kind of political religious ideology. Pretty
- 7:08much you're not limited with a game or a storyline
- 7:13like Fallout. There's no reason whatsoever why
- 7:17you can't go balls to the walls with a show like
- 7:21this. So it apparently looks like a
- 7:25lot of the critics are in support that they're being
- 7:28more seasoned to Fallout. I'm
- 7:30looking forward to it. I felt like the first season
- 7:34was kind of rushed a little bit. I
- 7:37was hoping for a little bit more character building,
- 7:42a little bit more about the people and it tried
- 7:46the best it could and an eight show concept, eight
- 7:52episodes. But yeah. It's
- 7:59just the, for me, watching it, it was nice being able
- 8:03to see something based upon one of my favorite games
- 8:06in the whole wide world, if not my favorite. And
- 8:10also seeing the terrifying similarities between the
- 8:14social paths that run these corporations and jobs and
- 8:19government and all this that cause humanity a lot
- 8:23more problems than what it likes to let on while at
- 8:29the same time advertising this idea that they're
- 8:32morally good and morally right. When
- 8:35the truth is that they're just a bunch of fucking
- 8:37psychopaths. And the show presented that
- 8:42represented that well. And it also tells another story
- 8:48too about people that we love. We
- 8:52think that we know people. We
- 8:53think that we understand people. We
- 8:55think that we trust this idea that people are always
- 8:59going to do the right thing no matter how
- 9:01horrible or terrible things get. But
- 9:03when you're suffering and you're in a miserable
- 9:06amount of pain, you'd be surprised at how far over
- 9:10the line you'd go. And I don't think some people
- 9:13would be surprised to realize that some people
- 9:15might cross the line and actually feel like that's
- 9:20the only way. That's the only option. Some
- 9:22people might cross the line and actually feel better
- 9:26about it. Where they enjoy the idea of
- 9:32having that power, that darkness in them where it
- 9:36feels like it gives them more control. We
- 9:39see plenty of people like that in the world. Well,
- 9:45you've been listening to Bret Keane and I'll
- 9:48continue to do more radio stuff. I,
- 9:51many of you may not know this, but I'm not doing
- 9:54YouTube anymore. I'm not doing video sites or
- 9:57anything like that. In order to be able to hear
- 9:59me, you have to actually listen to my radio. I'm
- 10:02not even going to announce it anywhere else. Let
- 10:06people know. It's just, if they're listening,
- 10:09they'll hear me if not too bad. God
- 10:13bless.
