Tornadoes ripped through West Virginia and Virginia on Tuesday evening, with four confirmed touchdowns fueled by violent supercell storms. An EF-1 twister slammed into Frederick County with 110 mph winds, toppling trees and damaging homes — though no injuries were reported. It also wreaked havoc in Hampshire County, uprooting massive hardwoods and destroying farm structures. Other tornadoes hit Pendleton County, WV, and Shenandoah and Rockingham Counties, VA — including one that crashed into a chicken coop and snapped dozens of trees across Ridge Road.
