- 0:09SPEAKER_01: Hello there, and welcome to this episode of Susasips.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Today we are talking about good girls, season one, episode seven, special sauce.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: I am Lisa, and I am sipping on a little red wine.
- 0:32SPEAKER_02: I'm trying to figure out who the fuck I'm co-hosting with right now.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: I don't even know who I'm who I am right now.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: And I am not drunk yet or medicated.
- 0:42SPEAKER_02: Yet.
- 0:43SPEAKER_02: I feel like it's a cross between Mrs.
- 0:45SPEAKER_02: Dalfire and Julia Child.
- 0:48SPEAKER_02: Oh, that could be fun.
- 0:51SPEAKER_02: And I'm Agnes, I think.
- 0:55SPEAKER_02: And I'm drinking a green tea chai latte.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: I say chai because I put the season, like the spices that you put in that's in chai with my green tea.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: It's a latte.
- 1:08SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, because I use I don't know how I feel about it.
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: I'm not first of all You don't like tea.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: So there's I'm not a big tea drinker.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: I don't like chai.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: And green tea.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: We're going to I can't be friends with you right now.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Ish.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: But if it's green tea, it has to be like actually hot tea.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: So I don't know how I feel about the latte part, the chai is hot.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: It's hot.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: It's hot.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: And you said matcha.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Did you say matcha too?
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: No, I don't have the matcha.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: I just use regular green tea.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: I was like, just throw it all in the trash.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: But my matcha is on its way being delivered today.
- 1:50SPEAKER_01: Great.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Great.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Throw it all in the trash.
- 1:54unknown: Oh my.
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: So you know what I have for trash.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I'm not trying to be judgy, but like if that ever appeared at my house, I would throw it all in the trash.
- 2:00SPEAKER_02: Oh, send it to me.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: Um, you know what I had for dessert last night?
- 2:05SPEAKER_02: What?
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: So I still have all the makings of a s'more for s'mores.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: I didn't feel like I don't know.
- 2:13SPEAKER_02: So I still had some chocolate melted, like it wasn't melted, but it was in the bowl that I melted.
- 2:19SPEAKER_02: So I added more chocolate, melted it with the marshmallow, but I also put the Bailey's in there.
- 2:26SPEAKER_02: So I mix it up and then put it on the graham cracker and put that in the refrigerator.
- 2:33SPEAKER_02: So I had like a s'mores.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: That sounds really good.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: It was fucking amazing.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: That's like really good or really creatively simple, but like why have I never thought of that?
- 2:45SPEAKER_02: I don't know why if I hadn't already had the chocolate melted in the bowl, well, the cold chocolate that was melt previously melted, I never would have thought of it.
- 2:54SPEAKER_02: I'm like, oh.
- 2:56SPEAKER_02: Also, I didn't have any more of the regular size um marshmallows.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: I had the minis.
- 3:00SPEAKER_02: Oh, the minis.
- 3:01SPEAKER_02: Why do I have two bags of mini marshmallows?
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 3:04SPEAKER_02: So I was like, throw it in there, melt it, put it in there, pour that Bailey's in it.
- 3:08SPEAKER_02: It was a nice little dollop.
- 3:11SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna send you a picture.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: I took a picture of it.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: And um maybe you can post it to the thing.
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: And my sprecker taster glass.
- 3:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, that looks good.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: Life was fun.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: You were up late last night.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: I could not sleep.
- 3:42SPEAKER_02: I was so tired, but I could not sleep.
- 3:44SPEAKER_01: I didn't get home until like two o'clock.
- 3:47SPEAKER_02: I figured as much.
- 3:48SPEAKER_02: And that's why I didn't text you this morning.
- 3:50SPEAKER_02: But around 10:30, I'm like, hey, I'm I'm here.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: No, I was by the time you text, I was up.
- 3:56SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: But I was just like, I don't want to get out of bed.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: I mean, when you had text, I was already up awake.
- 4:03SPEAKER_01: Up.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: No, no, I was like out of bed.
- 4:05SPEAKER_01: I was downstairs.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: I was just like, I need to get my coffee.
- 4:09SPEAKER_01: And I um Friday, when I was gonna finish the other episode to get it plugged in and everything for tomorrow, is when everything went fucking to hell.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: And I didn't end up remembering that I was like, fuck, I was supposed to finish doing this episode.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: I had like 10 minutes left to edit, 10, 15 minutes left to edit.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: And I didn't remember until about nine o'clock at night.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: And I was like, son of a bitch, but like let me just do it because I don't want to push it.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: And so like I finished epis uh editing, but then I was like, I am so tired because I had food that I was like, let me just finish editing and then I'll eat and whatever, and then I wanted to go to bed.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: And um so I finished editing, but then I never ran it through Alphonic.
- 5:09SPEAKER_01: I never plugged it in and so it was just like so.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Yesterday I put it to go through Alphonic as I was getting ready and then I left and then I was like this morning I was like, oh fuck, like I never finished.
- 5:24SPEAKER_01: So I was doing that, which is what delayed me getting on the Zoom today, because I was like, if I don't do this now, I don't want to forget.
- 5:33SPEAKER_02: So I was come closer to your screen because you're blurry.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: No, please don't take a picture.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: It's not that I don't post it, it's just for us.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: Alright.
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: Oh wait.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: I should look maybe at you.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 5:51SPEAKER_02: That was fun.
- 5:52SPEAKER_02: It's just for us.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: Because when we're rich and infamous, you know, we have these pictures.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: These are gonna go into the Us Weekly, they're just like us pages.
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: Yep, I'm ready.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: All right, SpongeBob.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: You've been doing the intro.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: I did do the intro.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: Did you?
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you were like, Who the fuck are you?
- 6:17SPEAKER_00: Uh oh, see?
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: I forgot because I didn't know who you were.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I took a big sip and it was hot.
- 6:32SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry, I just had a brain for it.
- 6:33SPEAKER_02: I'm like, who am I?
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: Okay, we both had a stupid moment.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: Uh-huh.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: Season one, episode seven.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: Oh no.
- 6:42SPEAKER_01: Wait, yeah.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: Special sauce.
- 6:46SPEAKER_02: I just I don't know if you could see this.
- 6:47SPEAKER_02: Like, I put it in red.
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 6:50SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 6:51SPEAKER_02: So it's no reason why I'm just like, what am I doing?
- 6:55SPEAKER_02: Hi, I'm Agnes, and I don't have a brain.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: It's nice to meet you guys.
- 7:00SPEAKER_02: Season one, episode seven, special sauce.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: Lisa, any hot takes?
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Uh-oh.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: I I don't know if this is so much a hot take as like you shit the bed.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: But okay.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Big time.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: Um Big time.
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: And and Annie was married?
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: Like, is is that what I was supposed to get out of that comment?
- 7:32SPEAKER_00: I held your hand through a divorce, or because Beth has apparently been married since she was 13, so I don't know.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: That I I guess she was married to the baby daddy.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: We assume we never said I mean We I mean she didn't because it said, and I held your hand through a divorce, and then the camera looked at Annie.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: Didn't didn't say Annie, but we looked at Annie and then it didn't say Greggles.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: Greggles.
- 8:05SPEAKER_01: Like, was she married to Greggles?
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: Who the fuck calls their man whose name is Greg Gregles?
- 8:13SPEAKER_01: That's probably why you're not together any well, you know, this Annie probably has, yeah.
- 8:19SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 8:20SPEAKER_01: And also, Boomer is the assistant manager.
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: So who's the manager?
- 8:26SPEAKER_01: Who is the manager?
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: I feel like that is the piece that we need.
- 8:31SPEAKER_01: Okay, let's go ahead.
- 8:34SPEAKER_02: So the scene opens up, and that's just the scene, the episode opens up with Beth reveling in her new gangster status, just counting, just counting bills and with a little smirk on her face.
- 8:45SPEAKER_02: Honestly, I would be smiling too if I'm counting all that money.
- 8:49SPEAKER_02: And I think they they need to get a money counter, but that's just me.
- 8:52SPEAKER_02: It just you get your cramps in your hand counting all that money by hand.
- 8:55SPEAKER_01: Anyway, I I would I would be too anal to use a money counter.
- 9:01SPEAKER_02: I would count that shit by hand too.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: Well, you you really should both.
- 9:04SPEAKER_02: You really should do both.
- 9:06SPEAKER_02: But you know.
- 9:08SPEAKER_02: Um, Dean asked.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: And my bills all have to face the same way.
- 9:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm if you would have come to my register, you would be like, oh, okay.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: And I would know right away if someone touched my fucking till, because if shit is not in the right direction, we got a problem.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: So when I was a cashier, it was the same.
- 9:31SPEAKER_02: Like, not cashier as an um oh navy, because we're just it was just too bad.
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: So that wasn't happening.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: In the dealership as a cashier, yes, it was perfect.
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: Now that I'm counting a lot of money for like two stores, I'm like, listen, you're lucky that the I just I need the money to add up.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: I don't care anymore.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, um it's gotta be okay.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: I know it's neurotic, it's okay.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: No, but I get it though, I understand it.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: Dean, very demurely, very mindfully, best TikTok ever, is she's a doubt, is she a drug dealer?
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: And when she smiles, he asks, Are you running a prostitution ring?
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: She goes, Don't you wish.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: And he has the audacity, like, I have the right to know.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: And at the same time, while I legit opened my mouth to say something, and that's when Beth says, reminds him, Remember when you cheated and lost all that money?
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: This is the same thing.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: I was like, Yeah.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you you don't have wanting to know and having a right to know are two different things.
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: Very different things.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: And I will say that there's a small part of me that's like, well, if you are running your illegal crime ring from our home that you share with our children, and my name is on the deed, maybe I kinda should know.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: But Dean lost that privilege.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: But you know, he almost lost the house.
- 11:11SPEAKER_02: So he kind of lost that privilege.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: So she just tosses him a 20.
- 11:18SPEAKER_02: He said, I need you and the kids out of the house, take him to the movies.
- 11:21SPEAKER_02: And he's looking like, what the fuck?
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: And then she goes, you know what?
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: She throws another stack at him, an actual stack.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: You're like, Yeah, what the hell?
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: Take him to Disneyland.
- 11:55SPEAKER_02: He's like, hell, take him to Disneyland.
- 11:57SPEAKER_02: Like, he's just like, What?
- 11:59SPEAKER_02: The fuck?
- 12:00SPEAKER_02: And the next thing you see him like have the kids bust them out the door, and there's like a mob of moms, which is a little scary.
- 12:09SPEAKER_02: A mob of moms should scare the fuck out of everybody.
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: How do they all show up at the same fucking time?
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: Like well, if you say we have a meeting at this time, if you have and we find out 30 people, a good amount of those people are gonna come at the same time.
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: I guess.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: Um book club.
- 12:26SPEAKER_02: But so the kids, Emma goes, where are we going?
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: What is going on?
- 12:30SPEAKER_02: Who are these people?
- 12:31SPEAKER_02: These are mom's friends.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 12:34SPEAKER_02: Book club.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: Annie, at this point, I don't know if they're proud of her, confused, or what.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, their faces are or like all of it.
- 12:47SPEAKER_01: Their faces are like running the gamut of emotions, like, oh, what?
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: What?
- 12:54SPEAKER_02: But I did skip the part.
- 12:55SPEAKER_02: I forgot.
- 12:56SPEAKER_02: It skips over what Boomer is asking when the other cashiers, like, where's Annie?
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: And goes, she's sick.
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: Well, what kind of sick?
- 13:02SPEAKER_02: Cold, flu, diarrhea?
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: She's fucking sick.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: When you call out sick, do you tell your coworker, hey, I'm sick.
- 13:10SPEAKER_01: I have sometimes depending who the coworker is.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: If we're really close, I'm like, yeah, I'm pooping out my I'm pooping out my ass.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: I'm pissing out my ass right now.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: Like sometimes you do.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: But no, you don't, especially Annie.
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: Because of course, he can't set up Annie if she's not at work to be set up.
- 13:27SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: But he's so creepy.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: I don't understand.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: Like, if I was the officer to respond to his call, I would look at him like I would side-eye him.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: Big time.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: Um, now we're at the meeting.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: And Annie is like part like infomercial, part like Stern principal.
- 13:51SPEAKER_01: She is very Michael Scott at this moment.
- 13:54SPEAKER_01: Michael Scott, she is Michael's Michael Scott.
- 13:56SPEAKER_01: But if you watch The Office, when Creed became the manager, and he's like Bobody, Bobody.
- 14:04SPEAKER_01: It it was, yeah, I know you don't watch The Office, but anyone out there listening who does watch The Office, like this was like somewhere in between Creed and Bobody meets Michael Scott because this was like totally off the fucking rails, except it was making just a little bit more sense than Creed.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:21SPEAKER_02: I think I was more I my head was like infomercial plus army major boot camp.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: And she's writing down, and then Ruby and Beth are like, oh.
- 14:37SPEAKER_02: And as she's continuing her spiel, they're like, okay, should we be concerned?
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: She was like, get the bitches in the front row, some more coffee.
- 14:46SPEAKER_02: She's like, all right, D and R.
- 14:48SPEAKER_02: Does anyone know what that is?
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: And then the dump the dump goes, Tyler.
- 14:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah, though he's the dump the dump.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: Do not resuscitate.
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: Just that's when you're dead.
- 14:58SPEAKER_02: Are you dead?
- 15:00SPEAKER_02: Most people like, I wish I was.
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I wish I was too right now.
- 15:04SPEAKER_02: So all together, D.
- 15:06SPEAKER_02: What is D?
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: D is do your surveys.
- 15:11unknown: I love that.
- 15:11SPEAKER_02: I want to chat.
- 15:13SPEAKER_02: I don't remember what N was.
- 15:14SPEAKER_02: N was never return at the same store you make your purchase.
- 15:20SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 15:21SPEAKER_01: And R.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: R.
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: And then like, did you know we?
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: She was we.
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: But she asked, does anyone know what R is?
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: And then we find out her name is Mary Pat.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: And let me just say, she looks like and just like a Mary Pat.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: Like, she, like, yeah, the whole character was amazing.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 15:37SPEAKER_02: She's like, recycle.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: She's like, are we ahead of our Saver Earth adventure?
- 15:42SPEAKER_02: Like, no, this is not what we're doing.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: Receipts.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: Receipts.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: Receipts.
- 15:46SPEAKER_02: And I kind of want to be like, yeah.
- 15:49SPEAKER_02: Like, I felt like it was like a pep rally at the same time.
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: A very scary, bossy pep rally.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, where where the um the head cheerleader cheerleader where the head cheerleader was kind of high on like ketamine or some shit.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: She kind of reminded me like Big Red from um the cheerleader series.
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: Um don't know it.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: You wait, don't go anywhere, Agnes.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: It was Bring It On.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: I was probably watching The Office again.
- 16:22SPEAKER_01: I don't know it.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: I mean, I've heard of the movie, I didn't see it.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: Good night.
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: So she kind of might be a big red for those who have seen, bring it on.
- 16:30SPEAKER_02: Um, after the meeting, the very scary meeting, they're just chilling and like, oh my god, this place is a mess.
- 16:40SPEAKER_02: Maybe we shouldn't feed them.
- 16:41SPEAKER_02: And Annie's like, no, feed them.
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: Keeps their energy up.
- 16:44SPEAKER_02: Like Annie is really feeling this shit.
- 16:46SPEAKER_02: Like, this is now her main hustle.
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: And I still call it the Lisa is just her side gig.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: Find a frugal.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: And she's like, well, we need more incentive.
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:02SPEAKER_02: She's like, trip to Cancun.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: Beth was like, we have a plan.
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: We have a six-month plan.
- 17:08SPEAKER_02: And even Annie can see at this time, like, no, we're going to surpass that plan.
- 17:12SPEAKER_02: Like, we're going to hit the and here comes Red who's like, shoppers be shopping.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 17:17SPEAKER_01: She was like, you guys.
- 17:20SPEAKER_01: It's like Adele rolling the deep.
- 17:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she was like, we cleared a lot and did like how much?
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: And then she's she starts doing the the calculation on her calculator.
- 17:30SPEAKER_01: We don't get the total, but she's like, you guys.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: Shoppers be shopping.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Their faces are like, ooh.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: So then they go shopping.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: What?
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: No.
- 17:48SPEAKER_00: I mean no.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: No, no.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: You said what?
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: I said no what?
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: Oh.
- 17:52SPEAKER_02: I thought you were gonna continue.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: No, I just wanted to say, because then she's like, shoppers be shopping.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: I said, so then they go shopping.
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: No, I was waiting because I was like, okay.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: And then you said what?
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: I'm like, no what?
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: No, no.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: No, I don't want to get yelled at.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: I have notes, but I I didn't I didn't I didn't commentary, that's it.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: Oh I sit here and think myself.
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: I was just waiting for you to continue your sentence.
- 18:22SPEAKER_01: That was my sentence.
- 18:24SPEAKER_01: There was a period at the end of that.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: A little bit passive aggressive, Van Lisa, but okay.
- 18:32SPEAKER_02: You know that you know when in cartoons or shows they have like police stand by and they're like, but they hit they pause the show.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: So they're obviously feeling really good about the money, which I don't blame them.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: You see Beth at a jewelry store, and she's beautiful.
- 18:55SPEAKER_02: It's a really pretty necklace.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: It was very pretty.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: And so it's what what platinum and it was like white gold, emerald cut.
- 19:06SPEAKER_02: I prefer platinum.
- 19:07SPEAKER_02: But yes, it was beautiful necklace, very delicate.
- 19:10SPEAKER_02: I like rose gold.
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm in my rose gold face.
- 19:14SPEAKER_02: I really am.
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: I co-signed that.
- 19:17SPEAKER_02: Um, she's like, just the tent the um, what's her what's those things called?
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: Cashiers, those employees, salesperson.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: Just give your husband my card and have him.
- 19:28SPEAKER_02: One, that's a little offensive.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, seriously.
- 19:31SPEAKER_02: And it wasn't like this was tape, this was like five years ago.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: I know, this was not 1972.
- 19:38SPEAKER_02: So, but her quit back was he couldn't afford this.
- 19:43SPEAKER_02: And she opens up her wallet.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: I was like, yes.
- 19:46SPEAKER_02: Although, for those who follow the Real Housewives, that is how Teresa and Joe got caught.
- 19:54SPEAKER_02: I'll give you a little heads up, Lisa.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: So she's paying all in cash.
- 19:58SPEAKER_02: Side note the Real Housewives in New Jersey, Teresa and Joe, X amount of years later, after their first season, were investigated by the RS.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: The IRS.
- 20:10SPEAKER_02: They both went to jail.
- 20:12SPEAKER_02: Right, I know that, I know that.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: Like, okay, so apparently it just came out.
- 20:16SPEAKER_02: The reason she's like, everyone, she points the figure to everybody.
- 20:19SPEAKER_02: Someone told, someone told.
- 20:21SPEAKER_02: Turns out that first season, I think an I an agent's wife watches the housewives.
- 20:29SPEAKER_02: And he's just stuck there watching it with her.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: And he and Teresa pays for everything in cash.
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: They bought, she just built a new house and she paid for all her furniture for the whole fucking house in cash.
- 20:41SPEAKER_01: But so I I don't know if it works with other things, but I do know that certain things you purchase in cash, if it's over a certain amount, they they report that to the IRS that you paid X amount of money in cash.
- 21:02SPEAKER_02: They probably do, but it just so happens the IRS age was wife and him were actually watching it.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: He was just like, What the fuck?
- 21:10SPEAKER_02: And throughout the whole season, she's just paying cash.
- 21:13SPEAKER_02: So that got them like, let's look into this shit.
- 21:16SPEAKER_02: So she told him herself.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: So yeah.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: No, I just I just know that because a relative of mine had believed, we grew up Yeah, nobody in my family is is doing anything.
- 21:32SPEAKER_01: We we ain't gonna be able to do that.
- 21:33SPEAKER_02: The ironic part is that we grew up in a Gotty territory.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: So I think it's kind of funny.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: He's like, somebody in my family.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: No, well, yeah, no, no, no.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: But it uh it was legit, it was legit savings and you know, but yeah.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: And they went and they made a big purchase in cash with the money that had been saved.
- 21:55SPEAKER_01: And this I'm not gonna say who the person was, because I don't wanna, you know.
- 21:59SPEAKER_02: It's irrelevant.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: But but it, I mean, it was all above board, it was it wasn't anything illegal.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: But it's just funny because when she finally went to make her purchase and she had all this money for saving for what she wanted, she she strapped the money to her body because she was you know afraid.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: And then when she got, you know, and did the transaction.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: And then that's what she was like, Do you know that they report to the IRS if you purchase over X amount in cash?
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I did not know that because I've never seen that much money in my fucking life.
- 22:38SPEAKER_02: I mean, I have, but like I haven't.
- 22:40SPEAKER_02: Now that you mention it, it's so funny.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: I have customers that would put huge down payments or make half a car payment in cash.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: I'm like, why don't you just fucking go to the bank?
- 22:55SPEAKER_02: Get a cashier's check.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: That's that's yeah, that's what we told her.
- 22:59SPEAKER_01: Like, why didn't you just sort of check?
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: And I'm in my head, I'm pretty sure they think they're being slick.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: And I'm just like Well, that's not why she, I mean, no, no, no, no.
- 23:09SPEAKER_01: But I'm pretty sure some of these people She just thought it was gonna be more cost effective to save all the cash and then if you speak to some of the people that are making these purchases, they I'm pretty sure most of them think they're being slick.
- 23:23SPEAKER_02: Um back to the farm.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: Not that they're doing anything illegal, but they're like, I'm gonna, you know, it's like look like a baller.
- 23:31SPEAKER_02: Or even like fuck the government, or I'm gonna get something over the man.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, she just she just thought she was gonna save in like, you know, financing and all that, like kind of credit stuff.
- 23:45SPEAKER_02: But cash is trick is the same thing as cash.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, you pay like ten dollars for the check, but like other than that, but yeah, it gets costs the same way.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: In different places.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: So yeah, but anyway.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, Beth paid eleven hundred dollars for that necklace, which not bad at all.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: It was eleven hundred dollars in my life, is a lot of money to shell out for something.
- 24:14SPEAKER_01: Is it a lot of money in a relative speaking for that piece of jewelry?
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: No.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: Although I don't think that I would have spent it until I really got my shit right.
- 24:28SPEAKER_01: Like, I probably if I was gonna splurge, it probably would have been on like something.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: Like it it just wouldn't have been.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: Like it's I I guess in my life, because I'm such in the frugal mode right now, trying to get a lot of shit.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: I would have been like, how much are new windows?
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: Like how much is an in-ground pool?
- 24:52SPEAKER_02: Like, I think that much more, but everyone has their I want to splurge on me thing.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: And and it wasn't a big splurge, honestly.
- 25:01SPEAKER_02: It really wasn't.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: You had to like big picture, all their splurges weren't crazy splurges.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: It wasn't like Annie's first splurge with the fucking splurge.
- 25:11SPEAKER_02: With the fucking car.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: No.
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: So my god.
- 25:14SPEAKER_02: And this is probably the next scene with um Annie and Sadie is probably the best scene ever.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: This pissed me off though.
- 25:22SPEAKER_02: It did, but it was the pushback.
- 25:25SPEAKER_02: It was like, yeah, okay.
- 25:27SPEAKER_02: Um, she goes in, she's gonna get Sadie uh a custom made suit.
- 25:33SPEAKER_02: Not just a soup, but a suit made for her.
- 25:36SPEAKER_02: And I loved the fact that it was all about, and it's always about Sadie.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: And of course the guy was a douchebag, baby, a la, pretty woman.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah, oh, me too.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: I was like, exact same vibes I got.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: And she's like, well, here, hold this stack and hold this stack.
- 25:55SPEAKER_02: And of course he changed his mind.
- 25:56SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: But Sadie, baby, Sadie, he goes, should we start with the 36 short?
- 26:03SPEAKER_02: She's like, no, we're gonna do a 34.
- 26:05SPEAKER_02: Let's start with a 34, and she's and she gives him like, you know, streamlined seams and all the other shit.
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: And he's like, that's my baby.
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: So why did this scene piss you off?
- 26:15SPEAKER_02: Because obviously he couldn't afford it.
- 26:20SPEAKER_02: Children's size.
- 26:21SPEAKER_02: He was just he was very dismissive of them as a whole.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: And that pissed me off.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: So what, yes, that pissed me off because he prejudged them.
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: But what pissed me off is that after he saw the cash and knew he was gonna get a fucking commission, right?
- 26:39SPEAKER_01: When he changed his fucking tune, they still they stayed in the store.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: That's the part that pissed me off more.
- 26:47SPEAKER_01: Because if it would have been me, I would have been like, honey, I'm looking for something in my purse.
- 26:50SPEAKER_01: Can you hold this and hand it the stacks?
- 26:52SPEAKER_01: And once his eyes lit up, I would have been like, I'm so sorry you couldn't have worked with us today.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Let me, I'm I'm looking for my phone to find another store, and I would have walked the fuck out.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: And you would have to do that.
- 27:05SPEAKER_01: Who knows how many eyes I would have driven my ass to another store before you got a penny of my fucking money after you treated me like that.
- 27:13SPEAKER_01: For the purpose of the scene though, I think I know.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: It's just like you let him look at you and and judge you, and then you still allowed him to profit off of you.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: And and he doesn't learn any lesson.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: You got and and you walk into that store again tomorrow, and he'll still look at you like that.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: Like, that's the part.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: I I'm not me.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: I would have walked the fuck out.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: That's fine.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: You don't want my money?
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: That's not a problem.
- 27:46SPEAKER_01: Have a nice day.
- 27:47SPEAKER_01: I'm not I'm not gonna shop where I'm not welcome.
- 27:50SPEAKER_01: And I'm not welcome.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: My money is welcome, but I'm not welcome.
- 27:54SPEAKER_01: And you you you can't have to go hand in hand.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: So you want this, you need me, and I don't want you.
- 28:00SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: That's that's the part that like of course it pissed me off that he judged her.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: But then, yeah, you changed his tune and you got him on the hook, but you got him on the hook because he didn't value you, he valued his commission.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: And when he didn't think he was gonna get anything off of you, you were as good as a piece of shit.
- 28:22SPEAKER_01: So it's just you know that that old thing, right?
- 28:25SPEAKER_01: Like, you just don't judge a book by its cover.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: Okay, judge by their actions.
- 28:31SPEAKER_02: Judge over, judgment over.
- 28:33SPEAKER_02: Soapbox back in the under the bed for the moment.
- 28:37SPEAKER_02: No, leave the soapbox out.
- 28:39SPEAKER_02: Leave it out.
- 28:40SPEAKER_01: Oh, or or or if I really wanted to be petty, I would have been like, oh, okay, so let's see this suit.
- 28:47SPEAKER_01: Okay, you know what?
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: I don't like that one.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: Let's see this soup, do the measurements, do this, and then I would have been like, actually, you know what?
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: We're not buying anything.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: Let's let's go check out the other store and make him waste his fucking time for his bullshit.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: That's that would have been a okay.
- 29:01SPEAKER_02: That I'd co-sign that one.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: So that that that's I probably would have just walked the fuck out.
- 29:07SPEAKER_01: But if I really had time to kill and I really was in a fucking bitchy ass mood, catch me when I'm PMSing, because you know how women are so emotional.
- 29:17SPEAKER_01: I would have made him work for free.com.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: Go ahead.
- 29:22unknown: Free.com.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: So Ruby's is Dan splurge.
- 29:27SPEAKER_02: Well, Ruby splurge, and I feel like it was a waste of a splurge.
- 29:31SPEAKER_01: I know, they ate a grape.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 29:37SPEAKER_01: It was a really nice looking restaurant, and ooh, the smoke and and then he takes it's a grape.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: It's a grape.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: Um she's like, is that a grape?
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: And he's like, Yeah, but that grape has seen some.
- 29:50SPEAKER_01: Same things.
- 29:50SPEAKER_02: It's been places, it knows stuff.
- 29:56SPEAKER_01: But maybe it's a magical grape, and when you eat it, you gain the knowledge.
- 30:01SPEAKER_02: Oh, like the bee stop, but knowledge.
- 30:04SPEAKER_02: Um, they're actually celebrating.
- 30:07SPEAKER_02: Um officer in trainee stands, he assisted with the bust.
- 30:12SPEAKER_02: First arrest.
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: First arrest.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: Um, keep this arrested mind, listeners.
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: Obviously, yeah.
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: This is a very big thing.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: Um so obviously, Stanley's.
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: Spoiler also, just just so you know, right?
- 30:27SPEAKER_01: That that is a spoiler.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: You just saying that is a spoiler.
- 30:30SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, we all kind of saw this coming, but like But at the same time, if you're listening to this episode, you've seen the episode.
- 30:37SPEAKER_02: So Yeah, maybe.
- 30:40SPEAKER_02: Maybe.
- 30:41SPEAKER_02: Or at the very least, seen the show, you know it's gonna happen anyway.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: And what if they have not?
- 30:46SPEAKER_02: Who listens to or they or they have no attentions to the show?
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: Or maybe they just love us so much that they just want to hear our commentary and then they'll watch the show later.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 31:02SPEAKER_01: I just hate spoilers.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: But it's not a spoiler.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: It is a spoiler.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: You saying pay attention.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: Have I ever said that to you?
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: Okay, pay attention It's a spoiler for another five minutes of conversation.
- 31:16SPEAKER_02: It's not another same fucking episode, Lisa.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: I know, but maybe they're listening and pausing and listening and pausing and lit- I don't know.
- 31:24SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 31:25SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: All right, all right.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: So they're sitting at a medication.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: And they're okay.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: And they're medication.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: And they're eating their grape, their smoky grape.
- 31:37SPEAKER_01: And maybe the grape is high.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: Ooh.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: Ooh.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: That's probably not enough.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: Uh, can you imagine how much well, I guess, right?
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: Maybe not as dummy.
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 31:54SPEAKER_02: It's edible sized.
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: Lisa's like, oh, what a new.
- 32:00SPEAKER_01: She's like, if I had a mustache, I'd be twirling it right now.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: Very, very interesting.
- 32:08SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 32:08SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 32:09SPEAKER_02: So Stan is obviously very nervous about all this money spending.
- 32:13SPEAKER_02: And she goes, it's like a boomerang.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: You got to throw it out, it comes right back.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 32:17SPEAKER_02: So speaking of boomerangs and things that come back to bite you in the ass and will hit you smacked in the head.
- 32:26SPEAKER_02: We get another view, another glimpse of what did you call him?
- 32:33SPEAKER_02: What did they call him?
- 32:34SPEAKER_02: Friendly gangbanger?
- 32:36SPEAKER_02: The one that won't be.
- 32:36SPEAKER_02: Gang friend.
- 32:37SPEAKER_02: Gang friend.
- 32:38SPEAKER_02: He's back under Agent Turner's tuners.
- 32:43SPEAKER_02: Agent?
- 32:43SPEAKER_02: Oh, right.
- 32:44SPEAKER_02: He's back under Agent Turner's.
- 32:47SPEAKER_02: Um, he's been arrested.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: Oh no, no, no, no, no.
- 32:52SPEAKER_01: Um, sorry, that that's not gang friend.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: Gang friend is Rio.
- 32:56SPEAKER_01: That's the guy who had he was a friendly gangbang.
- 33:00SPEAKER_01: He actually brought the car back.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 33:02SPEAKER_01: He was the one that they found in the bed.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: I what did they call him?
- 33:06SPEAKER_02: They call him to be quirky like that, though.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't remember.
- 33:09SPEAKER_01: And then um he's the one who got the bullet holes, but he's like, gonna fill it up with gas.
- 33:13SPEAKER_01: I filled it up with gas, right?
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: And then like broke the kid's thumb.
- 33:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:16SPEAKER_02: It's that so that one.
- 33:17SPEAKER_02: So, you know, lifesaver gangbanger, whatever you want to call him.
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: Guardian angels.
- 33:25SPEAKER_02: Um guardian angel gangbanger.
- 33:30SPEAKER_02: Um, my head is pounding because that be so hard.
- 33:35SPEAKER_02: So, of course, Turner does what any kind of law enforcement officer does when they're trying to get a bad guy to flip.
- 33:46SPEAKER_02: You got threatened to be best friends with them.
- 33:48SPEAKER_02: He's like, hey, check a selfie.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, let's take a selfie you on Instagram.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: I am.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: This is all on the gram.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: You could go home smelling like cup coffee.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: He's like, well, go to that restaurant where all the guys hang out at.
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: We'll get a window seat so we can people watch and people can watch us.
- 34:02SPEAKER_01: And he's like, Yo, you trying to get me killed?
- 34:04SPEAKER_01: And he's like, That's up to you, buddy.
- 34:06SPEAKER_01: I would have been like, if I'm free to go, I'll find my own way home, but thanks.
- 34:12SPEAKER_01: But but he wasn't.
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: This is the but that's what I'm saying.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: He was like, he was like, Oh, but if you're not gonna talk, then I don't need you, I'll drop you off home.
- 34:20SPEAKER_01: So that I would have said, Oh, in that case, okay, well then if I'm free to go, thanks, but no thanks.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: I don't need a ride.
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: So either I'm free or I'm not free.
- 34:29SPEAKER_02: Lisa is going to be like I'm gonna be criminal mastermind.
- 34:34SPEAKER_01: Is where I'm gonna end up.
- 34:36SPEAKER_02: See, I give you much more credit than you give yourself.
- 34:39SPEAKER_01: This bitch in her mouth.
- 34:43SPEAKER_01: She has no fucks left to give.
- 34:45SPEAKER_01: And we are Oh, they're like, you know what?
- 34:47SPEAKER_02: Fuck this.
- 34:47SPEAKER_02: Just go.
- 34:48SPEAKER_02: Just go.
- 34:51SPEAKER_02: At Beth's house, um, Beth has a confession to make.
- 34:54SPEAKER_02: She goes, I gotta show you something.
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: And she goes to puts her necklace.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: It's really and once again, it's really pretty.
- 35:00SPEAKER_01: It is really pretty.
- 35:01SPEAKER_01: Um, she comes out she has such a perfect neckline for it.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: The long neck, the 'cause it's like one of those like Y-shaped necklaces.
- 35:09SPEAKER_02: You know what I want?
- 35:10SPEAKER_02: I want one of those long statement piece necklaces that you can wear in the back with a like a backless dress.
- 35:18SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay, yeah, yeah.
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna have to get me one of those.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: I don't know where the fuck I wear a backless dress to, but then you just have to find find a backless dress and then find a place to wear it to.
- 35:29SPEAKER_02: I will wear that shit to work.
- 35:33SPEAKER_02: Maybe my 50th birthday.
- 35:34SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 35:35SPEAKER_02: Um, she comes out and they're not on the couch.
- 35:38SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 35:39SPEAKER_02: But you know what, okay, so we'll talk about boomerangs, right?
- 35:42SPEAKER_02: With her stand.
- 35:44SPEAKER_02: You know what else comes back to bite you?
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: Uh-oh.
- 35:49SPEAKER_02: Gang members! Okay.
- 35:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 35:52SPEAKER_02: They always have to come back like a bad rash.
- 35:55SPEAKER_02: So they're held by.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: Seriously, there never anything happening bad in the hood.
- 36:16SPEAKER_02: Annie and Ruby are being held by gun held at gunpoint.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: English should be really good today.
- 36:22SPEAKER_02: Um, I think.
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: You know what?
- 36:24SPEAKER_02: No, let's try a different language.
- 36:26SPEAKER_02: Just try Agnes language.
- 36:27SPEAKER_02: Do you remember how to do um pig Latin?
- 36:32SPEAKER_01: I wasn't really good at Pig Latin.
- 36:33SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 36:34SPEAKER_02: It's fun.
- 36:35SPEAKER_02: Short episode of Pig Latin.
- 36:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, jeez.
- 36:37SPEAKER_01: I won't understand half of it.
- 36:39SPEAKER_02: Okay, that would be course when I'm speaking, you know, same shit.
- 36:44SPEAKER_02: I speak Agnes, though.
- 36:47SPEAKER_02: Pig Latin, Agnes, same shit.
- 36:50SPEAKER_02: Rio does one of the sexiest things.
- 36:52SPEAKER_02: Okay, I'm glad it wasn't just me.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: It wasn't.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: I was like, wait, I was like, oh, oh.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: But but and it's not because of the gun per se.
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: It's the it's just kind of the way he was like, he lifted it.
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: Like, even had he done it with his hand, but he was like, oh, is that emerald cut?
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: It's not too much.
- 37:13SPEAKER_01: When he the way he grabbed her neck grabs her neck?
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: No, I didn't like that.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: Okay, something, okay.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: I didn't like that because he had a gun to her.
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: And it was like that for me, that was too much.
- 37:25SPEAKER_01: Take away the gun, the neck grabbing?
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: Then maybe.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: It was just too aggressive in that situation.
- 37:36SPEAKER_02: Um I don't give a fuck at this point.
- 37:38SPEAKER_02: Although I'm a little harder.
- 37:41SPEAKER_02: Um, I'll take anybody I can get it.
- 37:43SPEAKER_02: But um, so the fact that like his is this gun go plated?
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: I couldn't tell.
- 37:51SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 37:51SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 37:52SPEAKER_02: But it was something like it was something a little bit, I'm like, oh go touch go.
- 37:55SPEAKER_02: That's nice.
- 37:56SPEAKER_02: Like I I need that lost on me.
- 37:59SPEAKER_01: It was, it was more, it wasn't, I mean, I'm not a huge like gun person, right?
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: Gun or no gun, it whatever.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: It was the way he was looking at the necklace, and like it he happened to have a gun in his hand, and he's like looking at it, and it was just the way he was close to her, like, oh, is it no, it's not too much.
- 38:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's the emerald cut, but his but at the same time, his body length was just more dangerous on top of it.
- 38:25SPEAKER_02: So you're just like, oh, right.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: Oh, but then that's why the neck part, it was for for me, it was it was jarring.
- 38:33SPEAKER_02: Okay, maybe I'm toxic in that way because I was like, oh, we got my panties.
- 38:37SPEAKER_00: Um okay.
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: She Beth is like, I thought we were past this.
- 38:43SPEAKER_02: Rhea goes, me too, but your bitch just keeps stealing from me.
- 38:47SPEAKER_02: So they're freaking out.
- 38:48SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 38:48SPEAKER_02: Like, what the fuck are you talking about?
- 38:50SPEAKER_01: Ruby and Annie look like they've already dropped a deuce on the floor.
- 38:54SPEAKER_02: A couple of times by the time Beth walks out the bedroom.
- 38:56SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 38:57SPEAKER_01: Like, I I really hope Beth had weebee pads underneath them for this moment.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 39:03SPEAKER_02: Or poise, the one-way poise or something.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 39:06SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 39:07SPEAKER_02: Ryo accuses them of putting in fake cash with a real cash and robbing them of$100,000.
- 39:13SPEAKER_02: Like, honestly, I can see where he's like, the fuck.
- 39:16SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 39:16SPEAKER_02: But at the same time, Rio, you're kind of scary.
- 39:19SPEAKER_02: I can get how you may think that, but these bitches also ain't stupid, though.
- 39:22SPEAKER_02: But anyway, Ruby and her fear and her haste to smooth things over, lifts the cat out the bag and suggests it might have been one of the women who didn't wash the money.
- 39:36SPEAKER_02: And then his her face changes.
- 39:38SPEAKER_02: And Real's like, Yeah, like, whoops.
- 39:41SPEAKER_02: The fuck?
- 39:42SPEAKER_02: And they're like, oh no, we're outsourcing because we couldn't do it.
- 39:45SPEAKER_02: We couldn't do it fast enough.
- 39:47SPEAKER_02: He's like, no one knows anything about your business.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because he was like, you told other people about, like, you you let other people in on my business.
- 39:56SPEAKER_01: He was that.
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: He like, my money's gone.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: You sold money for the game.
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: You weren't scared before.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: That's the moment where you should have been scared.
- 40:03SPEAKER_02: I was kind of scared at that point, too, to be honest with you.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: He didn't think.
- 40:13SPEAKER_01: I mean, his demeanor was serious before, but that you couldn't credit.
- 40:18SPEAKER_01: Like, like you could see, right, the wheels in his head, like, what the fuck?
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: Like, I didn't expect that.
- 40:26SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna have to kill these bitches.
- 40:27SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna have to kill these bitches.
- 40:29SPEAKER_02: Like you thought now I have to murder.
- 40:30SPEAKER_02: Now I have to do murder.
- 40:31SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 40:32SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 40:33SPEAKER_02: He demands the name of the women they believe are stealing from him.
- 40:36SPEAKER_02: They tell him it could be any of 30 women, which he replies, if I don't get a name, I'm just gonna pick one, the next PTA mixer.
- 40:48SPEAKER_02: Okay, so he leaves, and the girls are frantically looking over the shopper surveys, trying to figure out which shopper turned in the original fake cash, not wanting Rio to quote unquote handle it.
- 41:04SPEAKER_02: And they keep going, why are you using air quotes?
- 41:08SPEAKER_01: Annie's like, because he's gonna cap a bitch.
- 41:10SPEAKER_02: That was the best line.
- 41:11SPEAKER_02: Annie has honestly, I think Annie and An Ruby really have like the best lines.
- 41:18SPEAKER_02: Beth has some good ones, but Annie and Ruby keep the show afloat.
- 41:22SPEAKER_02: Annie goes, she goes, he's not gonna go to HR, like Lisa says.
- 41:27SPEAKER_02: He's gonna cap a bitch.
- 41:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 41:30SPEAKER_02: Beth goes, okay, I'll handle it without the air quotes.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 41:37SPEAKER_02: She goes, okay, we're gonna we're going to send everyone to a store with a small drop to spend the same day at the same day.
- 41:45SPEAKER_02: Who doesn't show up is the person.
- 41:48SPEAKER_01: That was so fucking smart.
- 41:50SPEAKER_01: She is a built for this.
- 41:52SPEAKER_01: In fairness, if I was in their position, their business model, so to speak.
- 42:05SPEAKER_02: They would have to give me the original receipt and the return receipt along with the surveys.
- 42:09SPEAKER_02: I thought about that.
- 42:09SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 42:10SPEAKER_01: I would have, I would have had so like I wouldn't trust any of them.
- 42:14SPEAKER_01: No.
- 42:14SPEAKER_01: And you know what?
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: Because people are lazy.
- 42:16SPEAKER_01: Just for that.
- 42:17SPEAKER_01: Honestly, I am just that neurotic that I literally would have documented all of the fucking serial numbers too.
- 42:26SPEAKER_01: Maybe I wouldn't have written them down because that's a lot of work.
- 42:29SPEAKER_01: But like, do you know how easy it is?
- 42:31SPEAKER_01: Well through take a take a photo, anything.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: Like we we it's 2018.
- 42:37SPEAKER_01: You had camera phones.
- 42:38SPEAKER_01: Like you can very, very easily document.
- 42:42SPEAKER_01: But then, but you know what?
- 42:44SPEAKER_02: Once it's on your camera phone, it's never really gone.
- 42:47SPEAKER_02: The cloud.
- 42:47SPEAKER_02: Like, you know what I mean?
- 42:48SPEAKER_02: If they got caught, it'll just lead to more evidence.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: Okay, then buy a fucking Polaroid.
- 42:52SPEAKER_01: I mean.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: But you know what I mean.
- 42:55SPEAKER_01: Like, the whole thing is that I I would because how do you ensure that you can try like they're just saying, yeah, I did it here.
- 43:08SPEAKER_01: I would have been worried about logistics.
- 43:12SPEAKER_01: Like, I would have wanted some proof.
- 43:16SPEAKER_01: So for facility, I would have been.
- 43:22SPEAKER_02: And like you said, the copies of the receipts.
- 43:25SPEAKER_02: Like the actual receipts.
- 43:26SPEAKER_02: I want the receipts with the survey because that's actually a legitimate request for a business if they were asking for you to do that.
- 43:34SPEAKER_01: Like I said, I've done secret shopping.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: You I mean, I didn't have to return the shit that I got.
- 43:40SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 43:41SPEAKER_01: But in my defend, in my whatever, it was small ticket items.
- 43:45SPEAKER_01: It was never more than like 20 bucks.
- 43:47SPEAKER_01: You front the cash, you submit the receipt with your survey, whatever, and then you get the money reimbursed to you.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: Now I get if you're buying$100,000 worth of product, you may not be able to front the money.
- 44:03SPEAKER_01: But for sure would have wanted something more than a piece of paper that says, yeah, everything was great.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: Thanks.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: So I hope they learned their lesson about running a business.
- 44:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:11SPEAKER_02: Even a legal business still needs checks and balances.
- 44:15SPEAKER_02: Probably more so.
- 44:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because you don't have a HR to complain to.
- 44:20SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 44:20SPEAKER_02: Well, you have HR, but HR is not who you want to complain to.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: HR is
- 44:25SPEAKER_02: Like nine millimeter.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: That's Rio's.
- 44:27SPEAKER_02: That's his name.
- 44:28SPEAKER_02: That's Rio's guns.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: No, that's that's his gun's nickname.
- 44:32SPEAKER_02: This is H and this is R.
- 44:34SPEAKER_02: Um.
- 44:36SPEAKER_02: Stan, bless his heart, living up to Ruby's boomerang theory, he goes out on a limb and buys glass seats tickets to a hockey game for the two of them.
- 44:47SPEAKER_02: Not realizing that they're kind of fucked and under the gun, literally and figuratively.
- 44:51SPEAKER_02: Um and then Ruby just switches up on him and tells Dan that they have a like pump the brakes.
- 45:00SPEAKER_02: He's like, oh, okay.
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: He was like, I don't get it.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: Like, I thought we were good.
- 45:05SPEAKER_01: And she's like, Yeah, but um, I worry and blah, blah, blah.
- 45:08SPEAKER_01: And he was like, but you always wanted this.
- 45:12SPEAKER_01: And I was, I was getting like my own vibes from Alex.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: Like, I was like, that's some shit he would do.
- 45:17SPEAKER_02: Also, feeling the squeeze, Annie decides to go back to work and is greeted by boomers and the asshole that he is, and a couple of cops.
- 45:26SPEAKER_02: They're arrested for trafficking and class one control substance.
- 45:30SPEAKER_02: And Annie completely loses her shit, which I do not blame her.
- 45:34SPEAKER_02: Side note, before I forget, I'm mad at Beth for the next scene.
- 45:38SPEAKER_02: Mad at Beth.
- 45:40SPEAKER_02: This time, instead of keeping her cool like she normally does, Annie obviously loses her shit.
- 45:46SPEAKER_02: And she's dragged out the store by the police.
- 45:51SPEAKER_02: Beth not only lets Annie sit in jail overnight because she didn't get her message, and that's with quotes, but she also picks up with the kids in tow.
- 46:00SPEAKER_02: As Annie limits over her nieces and nephews watching their auntie do a perp walk, Beth does the typical big sister goals off on her and blaming her for getting busted for drugs.
- 46:14SPEAKER_02: Okay, now.
- 46:15SPEAKER_02: Granted, Annie does fuck up a little bit at times and doesn't make the best decisions.
- 46:22SPEAKER_02: But Beth knows, I'm assuming as of now, isn't she's never had an issue with selling drugs at work.
- 46:30SPEAKER_02: One.
- 46:31SPEAKER_02: Two, she's not gonna do anything to fuck up her custody.
- 46:34SPEAKER_02: Anywhere lady.
- 46:34SPEAKER_02: Really.
- 46:35SPEAKER_02: Well, I'm gonna say it just kind of like brings the thing home.
- 46:40SPEAKER_02: At work with Boomer, why would she do that?
- 46:43SPEAKER_02: And why would she take the opportunity to do any extra crimes?
- 46:46SPEAKER_02: Not that they're now doing one.
- 46:48SPEAKER_01: Which to me was the biggest thing, right?
- 46:50SPEAKER_01: At least for Beth.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: Like what I know Annie could be a fuck up, but like even that's like extra.
- 46:56SPEAKER_01: And not for nothing though, but Boomer made a comment that Annie hasn't been in in two weeks.
- 47:04SPEAKER_01: If you are selling drugs, like trafficking drugs, would you really leave that shit in your work locker for all that fucking time?
- 47:12SPEAKER_01: Knowing damn well that Boomer is an asshole, has access to your locker, and like really anything can happen at work.
- 47:22SPEAKER_01: Like, why that's not where you would keep it.
- 47:25SPEAKER_02: I mean fuck up the custody over Sadie.
- 47:29SPEAKER_02: Like Annie would not do anything to do, like, so I'm kind of pissed at Beth.
- 47:32SPEAKER_01: I mean can't you can't say she wouldn't do anything to jeopardize it because she is living a life of crime, but anything extra.
- 47:38SPEAKER_02: Of this, like this, of this state, of this level, yes, of this dude, I feel like she.
- 47:45SPEAKER_02: I think if Beth took a second to think, she wouldn't have went all blamey on her.
- 47:52SPEAKER_02: I just think it was kind of obvious.
- 47:53SPEAKER_02: Like this was a like, oh my god, what the fuck happened?
- 47:56SPEAKER_02: As opposed to why would you sell drugs?
- 47:59SPEAKER_01: Like, right?
- 48:01SPEAKER_01: And then they keep bringing up that in high school at prom that she was caught with alcohol.
- 48:06SPEAKER_01: Snaps.
- 48:07SPEAKER_02: Like there's still not drugs, a bag of drugs in your locker at work with boomers.
- 48:12SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 48:12SPEAKER_01: Like having a bottle of schnaps for personal consumption in high school.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: And didn't everyone in prom do that?
- 48:20SPEAKER_01: I didn't.
- 48:21SPEAKER_00: As a whole.
- 48:22SPEAKER_01: But also, it's way different than like trafficking and selling drugs.
- 48:29SPEAKER_01: That's that's two very, very different very things.
- 48:33SPEAKER_02: So I'm a little disappointed in Beth.
- 48:35SPEAKER_02: Finally, she believes her when Annie starts tearing and crying.
- 48:39SPEAKER_02: And Beth, like, she's like, okay, I guess it clicks, and she's like, you know what?
- 48:43SPEAKER_02: We'll figure it out together.
- 48:45SPEAKER_02: So in an effort to look more responsible to the judge, Annie lists to our attorney's advice and brings Sadie to live with Greg and Nancy for a while until things settle down.
- 48:58SPEAKER_02: So waiting in the um the van, waiting for 30 women to show up and shop, not that fun of a task.
- 49:06SPEAKER_02: It's a the steakout.
- 49:09SPEAKER_02: Steakouts are not that fun, you know?
- 49:11SPEAKER_01: First of all, there's three of them.
- 49:13SPEAKER_01: Okay?
- 49:13SPEAKER_01: Bring snacks, you can rotate.
- 49:15SPEAKER_01: You I mean But you can't leave the van.
- 49:17SPEAKER_01: No, you know, because you don't want anyone to see it.
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: First of all, I think it's more suspicious if you if three people sit in a van for 12 hours and never get out.
- 49:27SPEAKER_02: Well, I don't think they not not the people, they don't want their shoppers to see that.
- 49:31SPEAKER_02: I think they just kind of want they don't want the shoppers to see.
- 49:32SPEAKER_01: No, I know, but what I'm saying is like, okay, so if if I was orchestrating this steak out, but not steak out because they didn't want to call it a stakeout.
- 49:40SPEAKER_01: I think steak out was a pretty good answer.
- 49:41SPEAKER_01: Um I yeah, that's exactly what it is.
- 49:45SPEAKER_01: And then they make fun of Annie because they're like, oh, why do you always have to have the lingo?
- 49:49SPEAKER_01: That's what it is.
- 49:50SPEAKER_01: That's what it is.
- 49:52SPEAKER_01: So we would have arrived in two cars and we would have parked the one car, well, at least two cars, right?
- 50:03SPEAKER_01: Possibly three.
- 50:04SPEAKER_01: We would have parked the cars next to that car so that no one can come and go next to us.
- 50:12SPEAKER_01: This way, if one of us does have to leave, we would have sat in the one car for the stakeout.
- 50:19SPEAKER_01: But if one of us did have to leave for any reason, right?
- 50:22SPEAKER_01: To get food, to pee, emergency with a child, you go in the other car and the other two women can stay.
- 50:31SPEAKER_01: This way, the women coming in and out of the store are are still not seeing you because they're parked all the way in the back, and you get right out of one car and get right into the next car.
- 50:40SPEAKER_01: The odds of somebody seeing you hop over is minimal.
- 50:46SPEAKER_02: You're still sitting there for 12 hours, bored to tears, though.
- 50:48SPEAKER_02: That's no, I know, I know.
- 50:50SPEAKER_01: That's me like that.
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: But what I'm saying is that this in in my scenario, you can get a uh quote break, right?
- 50:58SPEAKER_01: Somebody can run and grab food, somebody can, you know, run and use the bathroom.
- 51:02SPEAKER_01: Like it breaks up the monotony.
- 51:06SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 51:07SPEAKER_01: But you're still all there as a team.
- 51:09SPEAKER_01: It's not just one person having to do the work.
- 51:11SPEAKER_01: So, okay.
- 51:12SPEAKER_01: And and then, you know, once you get snacks, like somebody somebody go get the fucking jalapeno poppers and come back.
- 51:20SPEAKER_01: Did she just mention jalapeno poppers?
- 51:23SPEAKER_02: I just people love you.
- 51:25SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 51:26SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 51:26SPEAKER_02: I want jalapeno pepper poppers now.
- 51:29SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 51:30SPEAKER_02: Um, now this is when you enter the you edit in the break in the episode of us recording.
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: Where we could get poppers.
- 51:40SPEAKER_01: I wish.
- 51:41SPEAKER_01: So after their long ass stakeout, it's now closing time.
- 51:46SPEAKER_01: I thought you were confused, like where we were at.
- 51:48SPEAKER_01: No.
- 51:48SPEAKER_01: I wasn't trying to take over.
- 51:50SPEAKER_00: Relax.
- 51:50SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, will you stop that?
- 51:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, you don't like it?
- 51:54SPEAKER_00: I made one I made a comment.
- 51:58SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: Once.
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 52:04SPEAKER_01: But she muted herself, crossed her arms, and is now sitting back.
- 52:10SPEAKER_01: This is gonna be one long episode strap in people.
- 52:12SPEAKER_01: This is gonna be worse than the 12-hour stakeout, because there's no jalapeno poppers.
- 52:21SPEAKER_01: She I think she just banged her head on the table.
- 52:23SPEAKER_01: I don't know what she did.
- 52:26SPEAKER_01: She's laughing.
- 52:27SPEAKER_01: She's shimmying, she's smiling, she's shimmying.
- 52:31SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, back and forth.
- 52:33SPEAKER_01: Okay, she's laughing more.
- 52:35SPEAKER_01: Just unfucking mute yourself and keep going.
- 52:42SPEAKER_01: If everyone fixed the podcast, it's your fault.
- 52:48SPEAKER_02: You can edit all that shit out, so no one's gonna know that I had.
- 52:54SPEAKER_01: I might not.
- 52:55SPEAKER_01: Oh, you can leave it in.
- 52:56SPEAKER_01: I'm good.
- 52:57SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 52:57SPEAKER_01: You would never even know.
- 52:59SPEAKER_01: You don't listen.
- 53:00SPEAKER_01: I don't.
- 53:05SPEAKER_02: Annie suggests that they have to sacrifice anyone.
- 53:08SPEAKER_02: It should be the it should be the person, that woman that was on her phone.
- 53:12SPEAKER_02: Heather.
- 53:13SPEAKER_02: That was her name, Heather.
- 53:14SPEAKER_02: She goes, No one's posted anything on Instagram the last three minutes.
- 53:18SPEAKER_02: She likes put the phone down.
- 53:20SPEAKER_02: So they do get the answer.
- 53:23SPEAKER_02: It's Mary Pat.
- 53:24SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 53:25SPEAKER_02: That bitch.
- 53:27SPEAKER_02: They go to visit Mary Pat.
- 53:29SPEAKER_02: Mary Pat is flustered when her bosses show up, unannounced her house.
- 53:33SPEAKER_02: And I find it weird that she calls them her bosses.
- 53:37SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 53:37SPEAKER_02: I don't know why, but I'm like, they kind of are, but at the same time, it's kind of weird at the same time.
- 53:42SPEAKER_02: Um I mean, but what else is it, right?
- 53:45SPEAKER_02: No, right.
- 53:46SPEAKER_02: It's yeah.
- 53:47SPEAKER_02: It's weird because it fits.
- 53:50SPEAKER_02: Um, she's flustered, and she's the house is a hot mess, kids are running around, babies are screaming, and she goes, I'm so sorry.
- 54:00SPEAKER_02: I haven't got it used to doing everything by myself since Jeff passed.
- 54:05SPEAKER_02: And here goes, everyone's like, oh fuck.
- 54:08SPEAKER_02: The face falls.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: Like every time they want to be big, bad gangster bitches, you know, a sob story comes out.
- 54:16SPEAKER_02: They're like, oh.
- 54:17SPEAKER_01: And their empathy kicks in.
- 54:19SPEAKER_01: Maybe empathy is weakness.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: Side note, it's not, but okay.
- 54:23SPEAKER_02: It depends.
- 54:24SPEAKER_02: If you're if doing illegal action, yeah, empathy is a weakness if you're being if you're doing illegal.
- 54:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, I guess, I guess that is true, right?
- 54:31SPEAKER_01: Empathy is weakness when you're up to illegal shit.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: So yes.
- 54:35SPEAKER_01: When you're above board, empathy is actually quite a great sign that you're not a psychopath.
- 54:41SPEAKER_02: So as a widow, she's having a hard time getting her keeping her head above water or even getting the water.
- 54:46SPEAKER_01: How did they not know that though?
- 54:47SPEAKER_02: Well, they don't know Mary Pat.
- 54:49SPEAKER_02: I think she was somebody else's carpool.
- 54:53SPEAKER_02: She was part of one of the other moms' carpool.
- 54:55SPEAKER_02: Oh, right, right.
- 54:57SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 54:58SPEAKER_02: Um, do you know all the moms in your kids' school?
- 55:02SPEAKER_01: Well, no, but if I'm I I don't know.
- 55:05SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel like if I'm inviting them into my legal crime ring, I might at least know if their husband's dead.
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: Like, especially recently.
- 55:13SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel like you might have heard.
- 55:14SPEAKER_02: There's also 30 women, so I'm sure they didn't know 90% of those women.
- 55:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's fair.
- 55:19SPEAKER_02: Um so dispensing with the niceties, Annie confronts her about turning in some of the cash.
- 55:26SPEAKER_02: She said, you know.
- 55:27SPEAKER_01: So you turned in the same cash.
- 55:29SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: And that like they know that she I forgot, like, they're like, oh, I'm just gonna rip off the band-aid.
- 55:36SPEAKER_01: And then she's like, we know that you haven't actually been shopping.
- 55:39SPEAKER_01: You haven't been shopping, right?
- 55:42SPEAKER_02: And after Mary Patz has her moment of, oh my god, I am so sorry.
- 55:46SPEAKER_02: And then she goes, Well, how do you know I turned the same patch?
- 55:51SPEAKER_02: And there was a really good try for backpedaling, because with anyone else, they probably would have gotten away with it.
- 55:56SPEAKER_02: And Beth's like, well, your surveys did it line up, or whatever she said.
- 56:01SPEAKER_01: I am like, they're so stupid because right, even before, even before she said, wait, would you write down the serial numbers?
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: No, that's crazy.
- 56:13SPEAKER_01: That's even what I was thinking.
- 56:14SPEAKER_01: That is your only way leg legit, legitimate, right?
- 56:21SPEAKER_01: You're legitimate.
- 56:23SPEAKER_01: Unless you're saying, like, oh no, but we have spies in the stores, or like whatever, right?
- 56:26SPEAKER_01: Because then that gets too complicated.
- 56:29SPEAKER_01: But I would have 100% been like, absolutely we do.
- 56:36SPEAKER_01: Because any because how else do we know that you actually did that unless you're turning in different money?
- 56:43SPEAKER_02: I think they could have saved it better.
- 56:45SPEAKER_02: Hell yeah, they could have.
- 56:47SPEAKER_02: But I think the whole survey should have been their first go-to.
- 56:52SPEAKER_01: But if you you know, it's one of those things, right?
- 56:54SPEAKER_01: Where like when you just speak with the confidence and like, you know, it's like they say, like, how you could walk into a place and you could be the same person with the same business, and and even actually the the suit store was a perfect example, right?
- 57:15SPEAKER_01: But you look like you don't belong, you're going to get flagged.
- 57:19SPEAKER_02: Even if you act like you couldn't look like sometimes it's not about what you look like, sometimes it's just your attitude.
- 57:26SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: And so you would have shown up with that confidence, like, we know, we have our ways, things are documented, and we do spot check the money because or or whatever, she wouldn't have never known.
- 57:43SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: She wouldn't have she she would have no fucking leg to stand on.
- 57:46SPEAKER_01: And then the fact that they're standing there, like, uh, well, you know, being let go is always hard.
- 57:51SPEAKER_01: And they're like, nah uh-uh.
- 57:53SPEAKER_01: Like, and then she's like, oh, we're gonna call the better.
- 57:56SPEAKER_01: Oh, so if corporate, why isn't corporate fire?
- 57:59SPEAKER_01: It it just corporate never fires people.
- 58:02SPEAKER_02: That's first of all, like you, I when was the last time you got why I've never been fired by like a head hon show?
- 58:09SPEAKER_02: No.
- 58:09SPEAKER_02: It's of course right above you.
- 58:11SPEAKER_02: Oh, the right above you.
- 58:12SPEAKER_02: The only you know depicted.
- 58:16SPEAKER_01: I wasn't fired, but it was during COVID.
- 58:20SPEAKER_01: And so then granted, they had to, like, okay, so I was second in line, right?
- 58:32SPEAKER_01: It was at our site, at our job site, I was number two.
- 58:37SPEAKER_01: So when we had to go down because everything went online, it was no longer in person, it was during COVID, blah, blah, blah, everything shut down.
- 58:46SPEAKER_01: We now know don't need 14 employees because it was like two people per class, right?
- 58:55SPEAKER_01: So I was the the company had done some fucked up shit with my money.
- 59:02SPEAKER_01: They decided that because of COVID, they were shortening people's hours.
- 59:08SPEAKER_01: But do you know how I found out that they were giving everyone less hours?
- 59:12SPEAKER_01: Because I wasn't salaried employee.
- 59:14SPEAKER_01: Only the my boss above me was salaried.
- 59:17SPEAKER_01: I found out when I got my paycheck and it was less.
- 59:21SPEAKER_01: And I called my boss and I was like, hey.
- 59:24SPEAKER_02: They can't pay you for hours, they can't pay you for less hours than you worked, but in case you worked those hours.
- 59:29SPEAKER_01: I did work those hours.
- 59:31SPEAKER_01: Like there were a little bit illegal.
- 59:33SPEAKER_01: There were nights where I would get a message and it would be like, hey, they they want us to do this and have it ready for tomorrow.
- 59:40SPEAKER_01: Okay, no problem.
- 59:41SPEAKER_01: Let me get on my computer and we're setting up, we were setting up a whole online i it like not a classroom, but like different classrooms, different activities, plugging them in, doing research.
- 59:53SPEAKER_01: Like we were busting our asses, trying to figure out ways to keep these kids engaged via the internet because they couldn't come into the school anymore.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_01: And I found out that way.
- 1:00:08SPEAKER_01: And when I called my boss, and my boss is great, like we are still friends, okay?
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_01: We have a date to hang out and get margarita soon.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_01: But when I called her, she was like, Let me let me just make sure that everything payroll went in like correctly.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_01: She goes, I'll I'll get back to you.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_01: Okay, no problem.
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_01: I trust her.
- 1:00:26SPEAKER_01: And when she got back to me, she was like, Listen, I'm still researching.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_01: She's like, but you're out.
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_01: I put in your hours correctly.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_01: Now, this is someone who I will not say the things that she has done on air, but like she has had my back.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_01: I trust her implicitly.
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_01: So I don't doubt for a second that she did right by me.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_01: When she got back to me, she goes, Oh, so and so, her boss, who is in the corporate headquarters, was like, apparently they were limiting people's hours because of blah blah blah.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, nice of them to fucking tell me.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_01: Like, I depend on this shit to feed my family, to keep a roof over their head.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_01: You can't tell me afterwards.
- 1:01:12SPEAKER_02: After I work those hours, you're not gonna pay me for that.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_02: That's a lot illegal.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_01: That's a lot illegal.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_01: I said, I am so fucking pissed.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_01: And I said, you know what?
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_01: Lay me off.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_01: Lay me off today.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_01: I'm fucking done.
- 1:01:27SPEAKER_01: I am so fucking done.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_01: You need they needed to keep two people employed.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_01: Obviously, one of them had to be her.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_01: I said, you you better pick somebody else.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_01: Pick somebody else.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_01: And I'm on my money.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_01: I didn't get it.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_01: I didn't get it.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_01: The person right below me who constantly wanted my job, I was like, he can have it.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_01: It's his now.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_01: I don't want it.
- 1:01:48SPEAKER_01: Lay me off.
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_01: I am collecting unemployment because at least I can guarantee that I'm gonna get paid.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_01: I said, and what happens next week when they decide I'm laid off and they forget to tell me.
- 1:01:59SPEAKER_01: I didn't want to deal with it.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_01: I just I was like, lay me off and I'm fucking done.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_01: So but that so then that's the one and only time that I got a letter from like corporate saying, this is just to certify that your employee with X and X company has has now been terminated.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_01: Good fucking riddance.
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_01: Fuck off.
- 1:02:21SPEAKER_01: So but I wasn't like, I mean, I was fired, but I wasn't fired, you know.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_02: No, but other than that, no one corporate doesn't fire people.
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_02: They still could have got away with it.
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_02: They could have.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_02: But then we have no show.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_02: Because Mary Pat calls their bluff and she goes, Oh, I want to hear from corporate my I want to hear from corporate myself.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_02: And eventually she tries she calls the police.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_02: And they really could have just like, okay, tell them.
- 1:02:52SPEAKER_02: Like I think she I think it could have they could have called her bluff on that.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_01: But well they let her dial and the police.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_01: I would have so but she also didn't say anything.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_02: I think she didn't say anything, right?
- 1:03:05SPEAKER_02: So I think it was like a she could have I think she would have just hung up eventually.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_02: So and so and the standoff, this Mexican standoff.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_02: Why gotta be Mexican?
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_02: Because isn't that the name of the phrase?
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_02: Isn't that the name of the phrase?
- 1:03:19SPEAKER_02: Is that how a phrase goes?
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_02: I don't know.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:03:22SPEAKER_02: Beth blinks first.
- 1:03:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_02: And she goes, put the phone down.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_02: Not only did it cost them money with her her little blackmail ski, and also it cost them a friendship at this point.
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_02: Like it was a riff in the group.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_02: Um, and Ruby finally says, what we've all been saying that it's Beth's fault for her for them just like nonchalantly pulling them deeper and deeper into this shit.
- 1:03:51SPEAKER_01: They were although although while a hundred percent Ruby is a hundred percent because she was like, We were out, we were done.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_01: Even you have decided and Beth is not wrong though when she's like, okay, but then you were still gung ho, like when we were making more money.
- 1:04:15SPEAKER_01: So you can't be mad.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_01: It's hard, it's tough.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, on on one hand, right?
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_01: What's Ruby supposed to do?
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: Okay, Ruby's you're out, like you're in, but but I'm not count me out.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_01: I mean, she could have.
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_02: You could have, but these are like like Lisa.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_02: If you like honestly, I would probably like you really got us or one of us.
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_02: We got us in, yeah.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna, I'm not gonna let you know.
- 1:04:39SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm gonna spend myself.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_02: I got your back.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:04:42SPEAKER_02: So it's kind of like, yeah, I have your back, but doesn't mean I'm happy about it.
- 1:04:46SPEAKER_01: I mean I have got the money, but and you're clearing uh thousands of dollars.
- 1:04:51SPEAKER_01: Um of course I'm gonna be happy about that.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_01: Of course it's gonna feel good.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_02: I you can't help not.
- 1:04:56SPEAKER_02: I didn't want to make the I didn't want to have to make that decision.
- 1:04:58SPEAKER_02: Ruba didn't want to have to make that decision, right?
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_02: And then it goes from bad to worse.
- 1:05:03SPEAKER_02: Right, because Annie's like, well, no, don't talk to my sister like that.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_02: She goes, Like, oh, but you can say shit.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_01: Shut she was like a little stupid fucking chihuahua.
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_01: Well like shut the fuck up.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_01: Don't talk to my sister like that.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_01: Hey, bye-bye.
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_01: And Annie's like, okay, that's enough.
- 1:05:17SPEAKER_01: Uh Beth, sorry.
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_01: Beth was like, okay, that's enough.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_02: She's like, but she's like, oh, when you say something, it's you can go off, you can go off on her all the time.
- 1:05:24SPEAKER_02: He goes, but that's my blood.
- 1:05:26SPEAKER_02: And I could see the knife in her throat in her chest.
- 1:05:29SPEAKER_02: Like that hurt.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_01: It hurt.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_01: I don't care, blood or no blood.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_01: Yes, they're sisters, but like clearly you three have been through some shit.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_01: It's the family.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_02: It's a family you chose.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_02: And they chose each other.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_02: But like all sisters, they got in a fight.
- 1:05:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but that's it was a deep fight.
- 1:05:49SPEAKER_02: That was a deep cut.
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_02: I mean, to be fair, I've got into I've gotten into some deep fights with my brother.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_02: Like, we've been in some shit.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_02: We've been into like this fight with them was nothing to what to what me and my brother got into.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_02: That you and your brother are blood.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_02: Oh and have you met my family?
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_02: I would we disown people with a heartbeat.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_02: I know, but I think I like my friends more than like some of my family members.
- 1:06:13SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_02: It would hurt me to lose you before it hurt me to lose some of my family members.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_02: Same.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_02: That's the truth.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_01: So But but the thing is, like when you see the Relationship that they have saying something like that is uh I mean like if you said something like that to me, I don't I I wouldn't want to lose you, but it would be so hard to recover as opposed to some of your family members.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_01: You're like uh a hundred percent.
- 1:06:48SPEAKER_01: There there are very few people who could say something like that to me and it would hurt.
- 1:06:55SPEAKER_02: Now I'm trying to think of the smart ass to say to get all these feelings out my because I kinda I'm I'm feeling kind of sappy right now.
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_02: All right, let's try to get I'm trying to think of something wise ass to say.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_01: You you think about that, and um, and I'm gonna I'm gonna change the subject.
- 1:07:11SPEAKER_02: So, but like all siblings, they guys have their fight.
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_01: Fuck you guys, I'm going home.
- 1:07:16SPEAKER_02: To her blood.
- 1:07:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_01: And she leaves them there.
- 1:07:21SPEAKER_01: I'm not mad her.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_02: No, same.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_02: Okay, no.
- 1:07:25SPEAKER_02: I'm still in my feelings, Lisa, because she Lisa loves me.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_02: I would have been more mad if she drove them home.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_02: Yes, you would have.
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_02: I'm still in my feelings because Lisa loves me, guys.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_02: Um don't tell people that.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_01: I think anyone who listens to us can tell.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_01: The fact that we put up with each other.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, well, and that's but that's what Ruby tells Annie.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_01: She was like, Wow.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_01: And who was there to hold your hand when you were going through a messy divorce?
- 1:07:51SPEAKER_02: Divorce.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_02: Oh, when you were signing your divorce papers.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_01: Right, right, right, right, right.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_02: That's what she said.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_02: And first I thought she was talking to Beth.
- 1:08:00unknown: Yeah.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_01: And then I was just like, wait, she didn't sign a divorce paper.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_01: But he's too much to a lawyer.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_01: Wait.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_01: But not only that, but it's like Annie was the one who made the comment.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_01: And then the camera pans back to Annie after Ruby says it.
- 1:08:11SPEAKER_01: So, like, it has to be Annie.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_01: Then you're like, well, who the fuck was she married to?
- 1:08:14SPEAKER_01: Was it Greggles?
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_01: Because we don't ever hear about her talking about any relationships except him.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_02: Speaking of Greggles, yeah.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_02: Greg shows up to Annie's doorstep to collect a pair of Sadie's jeans, the one with the patches, in case you were wondering.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_01: The one with the patches.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_02: Annie invites him in and she's the like, come in.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_02: Like she's just like.
- 1:08:39SPEAKER_01: Oh, she she opens her mouth, her the door with like food hanging out of her mouth.
- 1:08:45SPEAKER_01: I'm so not mad at it.
- 1:08:46SPEAKER_01: Same.
- 1:08:47SPEAKER_01: She I mean she just had like the biggest fight.
- 1:08:50SPEAKER_02: Like she the night before she was in jail.
- 1:08:53SPEAKER_02: Like she had the biggest fight with Ruby.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, she's like, fuck it all.
- 1:08:57SPEAKER_01: She was like, I'm having a mean night.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_01: Her hair is all like up on top of her.
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_02: I need one of those nights.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_02: And she asked him, Do you want to stay for dinner?
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_02: Cheese and crackers and wine and vodka.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_02: She's like, she goes, Do you want wine?
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_02: He goes, sis, what are you doing?
- 1:09:12SPEAKER_02: Well, she's like, Do you actually vodka?
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_01: She's like, Do you want something to eat?
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_01: And he's like, Well, what do you got?
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_01: And she says something like, Well, you know how like cheese and crackers, but like they're all in one box.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_01: So I think she put like the cheese whiz or freight cheese in the box of vodka.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_01: And she's like, But I have wine.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_01: And he was like, That's very adult.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_01: And she was like, Yeah, actually it's vodka and it's room temperature.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_02: So they're getting fucked up over vodka and YouTube videos.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_02: And of course, unsurprisingly, they kiss before they saw it sleep, before they sleep together.
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:09:47SPEAKER_02: Which we saw that happening.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_02: They weren't sleeping.
- 1:09:50SPEAKER_02: They weren't sleeping.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_02: They weren't sleeping together.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_02: They were doing something together.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_01: It wasn't sleeping.
- 1:09:59SPEAKER_01: I know, I know.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_01: I just think that the phrase in general.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_01: It's like, y'all were fucking not sleeping.
- 1:10:06SPEAKER_01: They were fucking together.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_01: I think that but sleeping together is very putting it nicely.
- 1:10:13SPEAKER_02: Well, they for the prudes.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_02: I don't want to say like the S E X.
- 1:10:17SPEAKER_02: Well, the Prudes shouldn't be watching the show.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_02: Well, the Prudes should be mentioning sex at all.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_02: If that's the case, if you have to make a phrase for sleeping together.
- 1:10:25SPEAKER_02: They shouldn't even be saying, okay.
- 1:10:27SPEAKER_02: They shouldn't have a phrase.
- 1:10:29SPEAKER_01: Maybe this is one of those things like when um when I Love Lucy was on the air, you know, like they couldn't say pregnant.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_02: They couldn't even sleep together.
- 1:10:39SPEAKER_01: No, but but they they also they never said the word pregnant.
- 1:10:41SPEAKER_01: They were not.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_01: They're always like with child.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_01: With child.
- 1:10:44SPEAKER_01: In the family way.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_01: They fucked.
- 1:10:48SPEAKER_01: She got knocked up.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_00: She got baby in her because of his penis and his spermes.
- 1:10:55SPEAKER_00: That's what happened.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_02: We need to put like a an age, like a rated, like rated R.
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_01: I do, don't worry.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, you do?
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_02: I don't know why that thought crossed my mind.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_02: 600 episodes into our career.
- 1:11:12SPEAKER_01: Nope.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_01: Explicit contents box check.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_01: So Greggles.
- 1:11:20SPEAKER_02: Greggles and them, they they have a moment of like, what the fuck just happened?
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_02: He throws his clothes on.
- 1:11:28SPEAKER_02: She kicks him out without even saying bye.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_02: He's like, wait, the jeans.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_02: The jeans.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_02: She exells him at there and just like, I what did you say to that?
- 1:11:37SPEAKER_01: When he comes in, she's going to get the jeans and he starts to notice all the post-its.
- 1:11:43SPEAKER_01: And he's like, What's with all the post-its?
- 1:11:45SPEAKER_01: And she's like, Oh, that's Sadie's way of reminding me not to forget things.
- 1:11:49SPEAKER_01: He's like, the rent.
- 1:11:50SPEAKER_01: She's like, No, I would never forget the rent.
- 1:11:51SPEAKER_01: And he shows a post and she's like, Because I have a post.
- 1:11:54SPEAKER_01: Because I have a post-it.
- 1:11:57SPEAKER_02: But I but it's just so shtick.
- 1:11:59SPEAKER_02: She's like, Yeah.
- 1:12:00SPEAKER_02: But Sadie doesn't know that.
- 1:12:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:12:02SPEAKER_02: So this putting a lot of pressure on that child, once again, like you mentioned earlier in the season.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_01: And I don't know, like I feel like you see something in him shift.
- 1:12:13SPEAKER_01: And I don't know if it's a good shift or a bad shift.
- 1:12:15SPEAKER_01: It's kind of like he is starting to realize just how close they are.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_01: But how dependent.
- 1:12:25SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_02: And there's and there's at the detriment of the daughter.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_02: Because no one wants you shouldn't have your kid parent you, even if it's just a shtick.
- 1:12:34SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 1:12:35SPEAKER_02: Did you notice also in that scene and behind um behind um Annie?
- 1:12:42SPEAKER_02: Is there a cat licking themselves?
- 1:12:43SPEAKER_02: No, but Rainbow Heart.
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, I did.
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:12:48SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 1:12:49SPEAKER_02: A little homage to.
- 1:12:51SPEAKER_02: And later on, I have so much to say about stuff.
- 1:12:56SPEAKER_02: And as we get to the episodes, I'm like, okay.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_02: Did you know that this happened?
- 1:12:59SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_02: And of course, Stan Stanning, being like husband of the fucking year, does the whole guess which hand again?
- 1:13:10SPEAKER_02: Because yes, he did that, but with the tickets.
- 1:13:12SPEAKER_02: With the tickets.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_02: And guess which hand again?
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_02: And I've like, I want that kind of playful, serious, loving thing.
- 1:13:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_01: But I feel like I feel like Stan Ruby and Stan have such a great relationship that I feel like when is the sky gonna fall?
- 1:13:37SPEAKER_01: Like she said.
- 1:13:37SPEAKER_01: Like the sky is always falling, and I feel like it's gonna come crashing down.
- 1:13:41SPEAKER_01: Like the rubber band, you know, Becca's rubber band theory.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_01: Like and I every time I see them, I'm like, oh no.
- 1:13:49SPEAKER_01: Okay, it's good.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:13:50SPEAKER_01: Like, are you nervous too?
- 1:13:52SPEAKER_01: So afraid for them.
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_02: What?
- 1:13:54SPEAKER_02: Are you saying you're nervous?
- 1:13:56SPEAKER_02: I am.
- 1:13:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, I can see in your eyes.
- 1:13:59SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 1:13:59SPEAKER_02: Like a sad puppy dog.
- 1:14:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because it's just like you you're rooting for them.
- 1:14:04SPEAKER_01: Like they're so cute together.
- 1:14:07SPEAKER_02: They get each other on a level that that's that's truly couple goals.
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 1:14:12SPEAKER_02: The way they communicate, how they communicate, how they know it's and like even what was it, the last episode when Tony comes and and you know, he and I was like, fuck, it's like a crack in the facade, you know, like in the foundation.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_01: Because she was like, Well, he's never looked at me like that.
- 1:14:29SPEAKER_01: And I was like, oh no, oh no, oh and then they worked it out, and I was like, okay, good, okay, good.
- 1:14:34SPEAKER_02: And that and I think everyone needs to recognize that that's part of a relationship of a marriage in any kind of long-term relationship.
- 1:14:41SPEAKER_02: You work through it.
- 1:14:43SPEAKER_02: You work through it, right?
- 1:14:44SPEAKER_02: But you work through the problem and you get better and you learn from it, and you get better and you get stronger.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_02: Like the Japanese Voss theory.
- 1:14:52SPEAKER_01: Not a theory, it's actually a thing, but but the problem is that she lied about her job, right?
- 1:15:00SPEAKER_01: And that's the part that mostly is is what hurt him, the fact that she she was lying.
- 1:15:07SPEAKER_01: So then when she came in, she they worked it out, but that working it out was still based on yet another lie.
- 1:15:16SPEAKER_01: So that's what scares me is that technicality.
- 1:15:19SPEAKER_01: What's gonna happen?
- 1:15:21SPEAKER_01: Because you know, at some point he's going to realize what's going on.
- 1:15:25SPEAKER_01: He's going to realize what's going on.
- 1:15:27SPEAKER_01: Whether it's because he finds out or because copstand finds out.
- 1:15:34SPEAKER_01: So that's what I'm like, every time I see them, I'm like, I don't, I don't know if I should be like all warm and fuzzy, or oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, shut my eyes.
- 1:15:44SPEAKER_01: No, I can't watch.
- 1:15:46SPEAKER_01: I can't, I wasn't ready.
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:15:49SPEAKER_01: So, but go ahead, sorry.
- 1:15:51SPEAKER_01: With the two hands.
- 1:15:52SPEAKER_00: Pick your hands.
- 1:15:53SPEAKER_00: I just love them so much.
- 1:15:56unknown: Okay.
- 1:15:57SPEAKER_02: So he picks a hand.
- 1:15:59SPEAKER_02: He's like, there's a I I'm assuming a hundred dollar bill.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_01: It looked like a hundred.
- 1:16:02SPEAKER_02: I mean, it looked like a hundred.
- 1:16:04SPEAKER_02: Um it has to be at least a hundred.
- 1:16:06SPEAKER_01: Do they make a bigger bill? 'Cause they do.
- 1:16:10SPEAKER_00: Have you ever seen one?
- 1:16:13SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_00: I've never seen one.
- 1:16:15SPEAKER_02: My m I didn't tell you what my mother used to do, did I?
- 1:16:18SPEAKER_01: Um, kind of.
- 1:16:20SPEAKER_01: I think so.
- 1:16:21SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:16:22SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I've seen those larger bills.
- 1:16:25SPEAKER_02: I've seen those.
- 1:16:27SPEAKER_01: Is it like how big?
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_02: I don't know if there's 500.
- 1:16:31SPEAKER_02: I've seen a$500 bill.
- 1:16:32SPEAKER_02: And apparently she said there's a$1,000 bill.
- 1:16:35SPEAKER_01: I've heard of a$1,000 bill.
- 1:16:36SPEAKER_01: I've never seen one.
- 1:16:37SPEAKER_02: $500.
- 1:16:38SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 1:16:39SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:16:39SPEAKER_02: Of course, at the age anything was a big deal.
- 1:16:42SPEAKER_02: I'm like, okay,$500.
- 1:16:43SPEAKER_02: Of course, now I'm like, fuck.
- 1:16:45SPEAKER_01: At that age, a$20 bill is a lot of money.
- 1:16:46SPEAKER_01: So Right.
- 1:16:47SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, okay, you know,$500, whatever.
- 1:16:49SPEAKER_02: It's just a number.
- 1:16:51SPEAKER_02: Ne, I'm like, no, like, I could use just one.
- 1:16:55SPEAKER_02: Just give me one of those bills.
- 1:16:56SPEAKER_02: I'd be happy.
- 1:16:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:16:57SPEAKER_02: I could pay maybe a half a bill.
- 1:17:00SPEAKER_02: Pay my car note with that.
- 1:17:02SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 1:17:03SPEAKER_02: Stan and Ruby are talking.
- 1:17:05SPEAKER_02: He's like, he needs to be a little bit more.
- 1:17:06SPEAKER_01: Well, he well, wait, before they're talking, so he's like, pick a hand, so he shows the bill, and then she's like, okay, and pick another one, and he shows the other bill.
- 1:17:12SPEAKER_02: And then he's like, I I started, but I ended up forgetting that one.
- 1:17:14SPEAKER_01: No, it's okay.
- 1:17:15SPEAKER_01: I I distracted you.
- 1:17:16SPEAKER_02: I'm easily distracted though.
- 1:17:18SPEAKER_01: Because and the reason I said it has to be at least 100 is because she was so worried about money.
- 1:17:24SPEAKER_01: Worried about the money.
- 1:17:25SPEAKER_01: Okay, so you spent$200.
- 1:17:28SPEAKER_01: Like, that's not that much.
- 1:17:31SPEAKER_01: No, it wasn't that much.
- 1:17:32SPEAKER_01: And then I'm like, and seats behind the glass only cost$200?
- 1:17:37SPEAKER_02: I think it was like a realcoming, and then the fucking it was just everything falling apart.
- 1:17:43SPEAKER_02: Like$2 would have been too much.
- 1:17:44SPEAKER_01: But then, and then he's like, I sold the tickets and I made a profit.
- 1:17:48SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, so then they weren't even like that.
- 1:17:50SPEAKER_01: They wouldn't be$200.
- 1:17:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:17:53SPEAKER_01: How did you never go before?
- 1:17:54SPEAKER_01: Like you went out to dinner and ate a fucking fancy smoky grape, but you couldn't buy that that grape cost way more than$200.
- 1:18:04SPEAKER_01: So that part was like very stupid.
- 1:18:08SPEAKER_02: I think it was just really to hit home how scared she is now.
- 1:18:11SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 1:18:12SPEAKER_01: No, I think that you're right.
- 1:18:15SPEAKER_02: Like, like Rio is holding up a gunpoint, Mary Pat brought um blackmailing them.
- 1:18:22SPEAKER_02: Just like, yeah, fuck.
- 1:18:24SPEAKER_02: And this and it goes to that conversation of the sky is falling.
- 1:18:27SPEAKER_02: Like everything was going so good.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_02: And then, like, look, another piece.
- 1:18:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:18:31SPEAKER_01: She's like, I always feel like the sky is falling.
- 1:18:33SPEAKER_02: And even before this, with her daughter being sick, it was always something.
- 1:18:38SPEAKER_01: I I felt that so much because I mean, I'm okay, right?
- 1:18:44SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm okay.
- 1:18:45SPEAKER_01: We've, but, but it takes a lot of work to stay okay.
- 1:18:50SPEAKER_01: And every single time I feel like I got a handle.
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_01: I've okay, I've got this coming up, and this and I feel like I got it.
- 1:19:00SPEAKER_01: And then another piece, another piece hits me in the fucking head.
- 1:19:04SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, oh, like I get it.
- 1:19:08SPEAKER_01: I get it.
- 1:19:09SPEAKER_01: And I, in my life, I am not set up for catastrophe or an emergency.
- 1:19:14SPEAKER_01: And that scares the hell out of me.
- 1:19:16SPEAKER_02: Honestly, I don't think most people are.
- 1:19:18SPEAKER_02: And I don't think many people realize how unprepared they are.
- 1:19:22SPEAKER_02: Not because they, not because of anything they're doing.
- 1:19:24SPEAKER_02: I realize it very much so.
- 1:19:26SPEAKER_02: But most people don't realize it.
- 1:19:28SPEAKER_02: And not because they just not prepared because they're just being flipped.
- 1:19:31SPEAKER_02: It's just like they're just trying to.
- 1:19:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's not gonna happen, or I'm good.
- 1:19:36SPEAKER_02: You don't you don't know until you know.
- 1:19:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:19:39SPEAKER_00: Um say something.
- 1:19:45SPEAKER_00: So the sky is falling.
- 1:19:47SPEAKER_02: No, it's it was about the off tangent shit, and I don't remember what it was.
- 1:19:51SPEAKER_02: It was kind anyhow.
- 1:19:54SPEAKER_02: So Beth meets Rio.
- 1:19:57SPEAKER_00: Can we call him Beth?
- 1:19:59SPEAKER_00: I gotta I I want a nickname for him.
- 1:20:02SPEAKER_00: Sexy gang member gang for sex sexy member.
- 1:20:05SPEAKER_00: No, we just call him Rio.
- 1:20:07SPEAKER_02: Okay, fine.
- 1:20:08SPEAKER_02: Be realistic and logical.
- 1:20:10SPEAKER_02: Beth meets Rio at the railroad tracks.
- 1:20:15SPEAKER_02: Is this just me, or did you see like it's kind of like at the railroad tracks, the other side of the railroad?
- 1:20:20SPEAKER_02: Beth.
- 1:20:21SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:20:21SPEAKER_02: Oh, that just me being overly.
- 1:20:24SPEAKER_02: No, no, no, no.
- 1:20:24SPEAKER_02: I yeah.
- 1:20:26SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:20:27SPEAKER_02: For the the drop-off.
- 1:20:29SPEAKER_02: Well, he asked her once again for the name.
- 1:20:31SPEAKER_02: She goes, I handled it.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:20:33SPEAKER_02: And she said, Yeah, okay.
- 1:20:35SPEAKER_02: Before he advises her to get rid of the right egg, that stinks at the whole bunch.
- 1:20:40SPEAKER_01: Well, he said he asked her for a name again, and she was like Beth Bolan.
- 1:20:44SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, there's that.
- 1:20:46SPEAKER_01: And I think he was kind of like, All right.
- 1:20:49SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 1:20:50SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 1:20:50SPEAKER_01: Bet.
- 1:20:51SPEAKER_01: But that's when he was like, Can I give you advice?
- 1:20:54SPEAKER_02: But it's gonna stink, and it's gonna stink to high heaven.
- 1:20:57SPEAKER_02: Um who knew he was right.
- 1:20:59SPEAKER_02: But I don't, but we all I would have that would have been my first fear to begin with.
- 1:21:04SPEAKER_02: Like, this is not the end.
- 1:21:05SPEAKER_02: Of course it never is.
- 1:21:07SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:21:09SPEAKER_01: Never is.
- 1:21:10SPEAKER_01: And once you hand your cards over, you lost them.
- 1:21:14SPEAKER_01: You lost.
- 1:21:16SPEAKER_01: You lost.
- 1:21:17SPEAKER_01: You showed your cards.
- 1:21:18SPEAKER_02: You lost.
- 1:21:19SPEAKER_02: And and like the badass that she's trying, the like the badass she's developing to be.
- 1:21:26SPEAKER_02: She's she's growing into her badassness.
- 1:21:29SPEAKER_02: And she goes, like I said, I'm handling it.
- 1:21:33SPEAKER_02: And don't ever point a gun at me again.
- 1:21:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:21:35SPEAKER_01: I was like, oh.
- 1:21:36SPEAKER_01: Oh, okay.
- 1:21:37SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:21:38SPEAKER_01: And you know he was like, okay.
- 1:21:39SPEAKER_01: And he you see him kind of just lean back like, okay.
- 1:21:43SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 1:21:44SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna let you have that one.
- 1:21:46SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna let you have it.
- 1:21:47SPEAKER_02: Because we, because he know.
- 1:21:49SPEAKER_02: It's like leaders don't have to scream.
- 1:21:51SPEAKER_02: Mm-mm.
- 1:21:52SPEAKER_02: So he's like, all right.
- 1:21:54SPEAKER_02: He knows he has up.
- 1:21:55SPEAKER_02: He already knows he's the biggest embassy room.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 1:21:58SPEAKER_02: There's no need for him to be like, you know what I mean?
- 1:22:00SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 1:22:01SPEAKER_02: And also very sexy.
- 1:22:03SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 1:22:04SPEAKER_02: Next scene, we witness Agent Turner addressing some of the choice police.
- 1:22:10SPEAKER_02: Um, he goes on to say an arrest has been made this week that gave us the man the inside.
- 1:22:16SPEAKER_02: And he's talking, he, you know, through a task force.
- 1:22:19SPEAKER_02: Because you're seeing you see the pictures.
- 1:22:21SPEAKER_02: You've seen all the pictures of everyone.
- 1:22:24SPEAKER_01: And there's that guy, like the bed guy, there's Rio.
- 1:22:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:22:28SPEAKER_01: All these people.
- 1:22:29SPEAKER_02: And then he's panning throughout the camera's panning throughout the task room.
- 1:22:38SPEAKER_02: And then you see Stan.
- 1:22:39SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:22:40SPEAKER_02: Whoop.
- 1:22:41SPEAKER_02: And we knew that was coming.
- 1:22:44SPEAKER_02: So yes, sir.
- 1:22:45SPEAKER_00: Shit's about to pop off.
- 1:22:48SPEAKER_00: Um.
- 1:22:52SPEAKER_00: Beth and Annie are in the minivan.
- 1:22:55SPEAKER_00: And then Ruby shows up, bangs all the door, open up.
- 1:23:00SPEAKER_00: Because, of course, they're family.
- 1:23:04SPEAKER_02: When she tells them, she's like, they're like, we didn't think you were going to come back.
- 1:23:08SPEAKER_02: We wouldn't think you were going to show up.
- 1:23:09SPEAKER_02: Because right now, at this point, you don't know what they're waiting for.
- 1:23:13SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 1:23:14SPEAKER_02: And she goes, There's no turning back.
- 1:23:16SPEAKER_02: And she tells them the story of the city.
- 1:23:18SPEAKER_02: And she's like, where would I go?
- 1:23:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, what am I going to do?
- 1:23:21SPEAKER_02: I'm not.
- 1:23:21SPEAKER_02: He goes, we always go back to the diner.
- 1:23:24SPEAKER_02: She goes, and this is when she tells him the story of the secret sauce.
- 1:23:27SPEAKER_02: And I don't want to go back into that story because I'm kind of hungry.
- 1:23:30SPEAKER_02: And if I tell the story again, I'm not going to be hungry, but it involves a band-aid, a cut, and 55 gallon of sauce.
- 1:23:38SPEAKER_02: You guys do the math.
- 1:23:41SPEAKER_01: Well, the quick version is that the sauce.
- 1:23:46SPEAKER_01: Cause your ears.
- 1:23:47SPEAKER_01: The sauce would separate and they had to stir it.
- 1:23:50SPEAKER_01: And the paddle to stir it broke.
- 1:23:52SPEAKER_01: And so they made the boss made her use her arm because her arms were the longest.
- 1:23:57SPEAKER_01: And she lost the band-aid.
- 1:23:58SPEAKER_01: Why the fuck wasn't she at least wearing a glove or like a plastic?
- 1:24:02SPEAKER_01: You know, like those sleeves that they used to stick your hand up the cow's ass?
- 1:24:05SPEAKER_02: If he was too cheap to buy a new paddle, you think he was gonna spend money on gloves?
- 1:24:11SPEAKER_01: A fucking trash bag, even.
- 1:24:14SPEAKER_01: That's a good point.
- 1:24:15SPEAKER_01: Like anything.
- 1:24:17SPEAKER_01: How do you stick your hand without a glove and you have a fucking band-aid?
- 1:24:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's food service 101, but okay.
- 1:24:24SPEAKER_01: Anyway.
- 1:24:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, but then that wouldn't give an opportunity to do it.
- 1:24:26SPEAKER_01: I'm certified.
- 1:24:27SPEAKER_01: I guess for me, I was like, oh.
- 1:24:30SPEAKER_02: It would have given an opportunity for this scene then.
- 1:24:32SPEAKER_02: Okay, you're right.
- 1:24:33SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:24:35SPEAKER_02: So you see Mary Pat leaving the grocery store with her football team of kids, and they're helping them.
- 1:24:43SPEAKER_02: They're helping her get in her car and they hand her a bag.
- 1:24:45SPEAKER_01: If they send Rio to her house, like they'd be doing her a favor.
- 1:24:50SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 1:24:52SPEAKER_02: I mean, listen, Annie, and at this moment, I actually had an Annie moment.
- 1:24:56SPEAKER_02: I'm like, yeah, sacrifice her.
- 1:24:58SPEAKER_02: Sacrifice her now.
- 1:24:59SPEAKER_02: Those kids look terrible.
- 1:25:03SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think Annie actually does say we should just tell Rio.
- 1:25:06SPEAKER_02: He's like, we leave the kids with no kids.
- 1:25:07SPEAKER_02: I think she actually did.
- 1:25:08SPEAKER_02: I think she actually did.
- 1:25:09SPEAKER_02: Did she?
- 1:25:10SPEAKER_02: I don't even I don't know.
- 1:25:11SPEAKER_02: Maybe it's just in my head.
- 1:25:14SPEAKER_02: So Beth hands her$10,000.
- 1:25:17SPEAKER_02: We didn't know this, but apparently it is actually$10,000.
- 1:25:20SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 1:25:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because they're so they get out of the car and they're helping her put the bags in the car and the kids in the car, and then Beth hands over the other bag.
- 1:25:29SPEAKER_01: So I guess it could look like natural.
- 1:25:31SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:25:32SPEAKER_02: So Beth goes, so we're good.
- 1:25:34SPEAKER_02: She's like, Yeah, we're good.
- 1:25:36SPEAKER_02: Until next month.
- 1:25:37SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 1:25:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because she starts to count it and then like it's all there.
- 1:25:40SPEAKER_01: Like they're fucking offended that she's counting her money.
- 1:25:43SPEAKER_02: Um, she goes, Yeah, we're good till next month.
- 1:25:47SPEAKER_02: Beth, they go, I thought we had a deal.
- 1:25:49SPEAKER_02: She goes, I thought I was Secret Shopper.
- 1:25:51SPEAKER_02: I I I mean, honestly, that was That was a good one.
- 1:25:54SPEAKER_01: That was a good one.
- 1:25:55SPEAKER_01: But also, uh, once again, Beth was just like, oh wait, I have one more card here, let me show it to you.
- 1:26:02SPEAKER_01: She should have been like, not, oh, I thought this was a one-time deal.
- 1:26:07SPEAKER_01: This was a one-time deal.
- 1:26:09SPEAKER_01: Not asking, telling you.
- 1:26:11SPEAKER_02: She's like, you know what?
- 1:26:12SPEAKER_02: I would have been like, okay, I'll take this up with corporate.
- 1:26:15SPEAKER_02: I would have violent.
- 1:26:17SPEAKER_02: And that I think that would have been like, oh, wait.
- 1:26:19SPEAKER_02: That would have scared her.
- 1:26:21SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 1:26:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, then again, it might have scared her enough to go to the police and rat them out, but who knows?
- 1:26:28SPEAKER_00: But yeah.
- 1:26:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:26:31SPEAKER_01: And then and then they're just fucking standing there like, what the fuck?
- 1:26:36SPEAKER_01: Dejected.
- 1:26:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:26:38SPEAKER_02: You're not ready for this.
- 1:26:39SPEAKER_01: You need you really I'm a little disappointed.
- 1:26:42SPEAKER_01: Like you thought you were handling it, and once again, you're not the egg, the riding eggs stunk up.
- 1:26:47SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 1:26:49SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 1:26:49SPEAKER_00: And everyone's starting to smell it.
- 1:26:53SPEAKER_01: I think that Beth is scared of Rio.
- 1:27:01SPEAKER_01: Like 100%.
- 1:27:02SPEAKER_01: Like she frightens her.
- 1:27:04SPEAKER_01: But I think it's that.
- 1:27:06SPEAKER_01: Excites her.
- 1:27:07SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:27:08SPEAKER_01: Because of how powerful he is.
- 1:27:13SPEAKER_01: And then especially when you compare it to Dean, who has a complete 180.
- 1:27:18SPEAKER_01: Like a fuck up.
- 1:27:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:27:20SPEAKER_01: You know, like nothing sexy about that.
- 1:27:22SPEAKER_01: That does not get my what my lady my lady dick right at all.
- 1:27:26SPEAKER_01: I have to come behind you and clean up your mess.
- 1:27:28SPEAKER_01: It's not attractive.
- 1:27:29SPEAKER_01: And especially when you hit it and and you were off doing your own fucking thing and not including me.
- 1:27:35SPEAKER_01: Like that is That's the part.
- 1:27:38SPEAKER_01: It's not attractive.
- 1:27:39SPEAKER_01: It's it's but for him, he's handling his shit.
- 1:27:44SPEAKER_01: He's keeping control.
- 1:27:45SPEAKER_01: And like whatever.
- 1:27:47SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:27:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, maybe it's a little toxic.
- 1:27:48SPEAKER_01: You're scared, but like it's a turn on.
- 1:27:50SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 1:27:51SPEAKER_01: But I think that on the flip side, real is turned on by her because even though she's she's scared and she's different, but like she'll she stands up to him a little bit.
- 1:28:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 1:28:07SPEAKER_02: She's not the typical badass woman that's used to that life that was standing up to him.
- 1:28:14SPEAKER_02: She's kind of the opposite, but she's still standing up.
- 1:28:17SPEAKER_02: She's like, oh, this can be.
- 1:28:19SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_01: Like you get the three of them held at gunpoint.
- 1:28:24SPEAKER_01: Ruby and Annie are shitting their pants, and and Beth is scared, but then you you have Beth saying, giving him a fucking order, and don't ever point a gun at me again.
- 1:28:34SPEAKER_02: But you know what they say?
- 1:28:35SPEAKER_02: The definition of bravery is not the absence of fear.
- 1:28:38SPEAKER_02: Oh no.
- 1:28:39SPEAKER_02: No.
- 1:28:39SPEAKER_00: So it's embodies that.
- 1:28:42SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 1:28:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:28:46SPEAKER_00: Any last thoughts?
- 1:28:49SPEAKER_01: No.
- 1:28:51SPEAKER_01: Although I was kind of like, yeah, we got the story of the special sauce, but like, did we really have to name the episode after it?
- 1:28:57SPEAKER_01: It was kind of like, am I missing something?
- 1:29:00SPEAKER_01: I I I I don't know why, but maybe it's just like because you know how like when we did Lost, the episodes, like when you take them at face value, it was like, okay, you get like the same thing, right?
- 1:29:13SPEAKER_01: Like this.
- 1:29:14SPEAKER_01: Like you get a little snippet of the literal interpretation of the title, but then it's a bigger metaphor.
- 1:29:23SPEAKER_01: And so I guess I was kind of looking for a deeper meaning and I didn't find it.
- 1:29:30SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's just not a deeper meaning.
- 1:29:32SPEAKER_02: Sometimes it's just sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
- 1:29:34SPEAKER_02: Something's catch.
- 1:29:35SPEAKER_02: Sometimes the cigar is just a cigar.
- 1:29:37SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:29:37SPEAKER_02: And it's just like a catch.
- 1:29:38SPEAKER_02: It's something that is you want to remember the secret sauce of this episode.
- 1:29:43SPEAKER_02: Ugh.
- 1:29:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:29:44SPEAKER_02: Oh, the special sauce, rather.
- 1:29:46SPEAKER_02: The special sauce, right.
- 1:29:48SPEAKER_02: Um next week we are working on episode eight, shutdown.
- 1:29:55SPEAKER_02: What the hell does that mean?
- 1:29:57SPEAKER_02: You have to watch and listen to find out.
- 1:30:00SPEAKER_00: How many, do you know how many episodes are in the season?
- 1:30:06SPEAKER_00: Ten.
- 1:30:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, so we're almost there.
- 1:30:08SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:30:08SPEAKER_00: It was a it was a mid-season premiere.
- 1:30:12SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 1:30:13SPEAKER_02: Midseason, yeah.
- 1:30:15SPEAKER_01: Pokey dokie.
- 1:30:16SPEAKER_01: All right.
