Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
• 0:03
Speaker 1: go to God in prayer, and as always, I invite
• 0:06
Speaker 1: you to join along with.
• 0:07
  Speaker 2: Me in prayer.
• 0:08
Speaker 3: You know, the Word tells us to cast our cares
• 0:10
Speaker 3: on him because he cares for us.
• 0:13
Speaker 2: And I want today to pray that.
• 0:14
Speaker 3: We will lay everything that concerns us at the Lord's beat,
• 0:17
Speaker 3: Heavenly Father, Today we come before you with open hearts
• 0:20
Speaker 3: and open hands. Your word tells us to cast all
• 0:24
Speaker 3: of our cares upon you because you care for us.
• 0:27
Speaker 3: So today, Lord, we make the choice to stop caring.
• 0:30
Speaker 1: But you invited us to surrender. Father, we lay everything
• 0:34
Speaker 1: that concerns us at your feet. We lay down every
• 0:37
Speaker 1: burden that has been weighing on our hearts. We lay
• 0:39
Speaker 1: down every unanswered prayer, every sleepless night, every anxious thought,
• 0:43
Speaker 1: every fear about tomorrow, on every disappointment from yesterday. God,
• 0:48
Speaker 1: we lay down our family, our children, our marriages, our finances,
• 0:52
Speaker 1: our health, our careers, our ministry, our relationships, and every
• 0:56
Speaker 1: decision that feels too big for us to make. So Lord,
• 1:00
Speaker 1: some things have consumed our thoughts for so long that
• 1:03
Speaker 1: we've become mentally exhausted. We try to figure it out.
• 1:07
Speaker 1: We've tried to fix it, we try to carry it
• 1:09
Speaker 1: on our own. But today we realize that these burdens
• 1:12
Speaker 1: are too heavy for us, and they were never meant
• 1:15
Speaker 1: to rest on our shoulders. Father, we lay at your
• 1:18
Speaker 1: feet the tears that no one else has seen. We
• 1:22
Speaker 1: lay down the heartbreak that we've hidden behind our smiles.
• 1:25
Speaker 1: We surrender the disappointment that tried to steal our joy
• 1:29
Speaker 1: and the fear that has whispered.
• 1:31
Speaker 2: That things will never change.
• 1:33
Speaker 1: Lord, we release every person we've been worried about. We
• 1:36
Speaker 1: place our children in your hands. We place our loved
• 1:39
Speaker 1: ones in your hands. We place every situation that we
• 1:42
Speaker 1: cannot control into the hands of the God who controls everything.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: You see what we can see, You know what we
• 1:49
Speaker 1: don't know, and you are already are working in ways
• 1:52
Speaker 1: that we can't even imagine.
• 1:53
  Speaker 2: Father.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: Where there's confusion, release your wisdom where there's uncertainty, Establish
• 1:59
Speaker 1: your peace where there is lack, Provide according to your
• 2:02
Speaker 1: riches and glory. Where there's sickness, Let your healing power flow.
• 2:06
Speaker 1: Where there's division, Bring reconciliation. Where there's sorrow, replace it
• 2:10
Speaker 1: with joy that comes from your presence. Oh, teach us Lord,
• 2:14
Speaker 1: to leave our burdens at your feet instead of picking.
• 2:16
  Speaker 2: Them up again.
• 2:17
Speaker 1: Oh God, help us to trust that while we're resting,
• 2:21
Speaker 1: your working, while we're waiting, you're moving, and while we're praying, God,
• 2:24
Speaker 1: you are making a way today. Or we make this
• 2:27
Speaker 1: declaration of faith, we will not be overwhelmed by what
• 2:31
Speaker 1: concerns us, because God is greater than every concern.
• 2:34
  Speaker 2: We declare that.
• 2:35
Speaker 1: God is working behind the scenes in our lives. On
• 2:39
Speaker 1: our behalf God, we declare that we are blessed. Our
• 2:42
Speaker 1: family is in your hands. We declare that our future
• 2:45
Speaker 1: is in your hands. We declare that our health is
• 2:47
Speaker 1: in your hands. We declare that our finances are in
• 2:50
Speaker 1: your hands. We declare that our purpose is secure because
• 2:53
Speaker 1: God is directing our steps. We will not carry fear
• 2:57
Speaker 1: when we can walk in faith. We will not carry
• 2:59
Speaker 1: anxiety when we can receive God's peace.
• 3:02
Speaker 2: We will not carry.
• 3:03
Speaker 1: Yesterday's burden until Tomorrow's blessings. Father, Thank you that every
• 3:07
Speaker 1: burden we surrender becomes an opportunity for you.
• 3:10
Speaker 2: To demonstrate your power.
• 3:11
Speaker 1: Thank You that you are our refuge, our strong power,
• 3:14
Speaker 1: our provider, our comforter, and our peace. Thank you, Jesus,
• 3:18
Speaker 1: there is no problem too difficult for you, no mountain
• 3:21
Speaker 1: to high, no valley too deep, no circumstance beyond your reach.
• 3:25
Speaker 1: So today, with confidence and complete trust, we leave it
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: at your feet.
• 3:28
Speaker 2: God. We choose peace over.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: Panic, faith over fear, surrender overstriving in worship over wary.
• 3:34
Speaker 2: We are walking knowing.
• 3:36
Speaker 1: That God, who holds a universe in his head, is
• 3:39
Speaker 1: faithfully holding every detail of our lives in a mighty, faithful,
• 3:43
Speaker 1: matchless name of Jesus. We pray, Amen, Amen, and Amen,
