- 0:00Speaker 1: Now, this is The Mark Simone Show on 710WOR.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Well, it's almost Friday. It's Thursday, and we've got a
- 0:12Speaker 2: lot to get to today. Hey, it's five days until fall.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Five days until fall. Autumn just about here. Lots to
- 0:21Speaker 2: get to. AI, we'll get to the Fed, we'll get
- 0:23Speaker 2: to Iran, we'll get to Crazy Mom Donnie. We'll get
- 0:27Speaker 2: to Ed Sheeran and Nutty McLemore, Crazy Kathy Hochul, and
- 0:32Speaker 2: a whole lot more coming up. If you're a Democrat, wait,
- 0:36Speaker 2: hang on. If you're a Democrat, cover your ears for
- 0:40Speaker 2: a minute. You're not going to like this. Stock futures
- 0:43Speaker 2: way up, showing a big, big upswing in the market today.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Oil prices down, dropping almost $ 3 a barrel. All right,
- 0:54Speaker 2: if you're a Democrat, you can uncover your ears. Yeah, well, Iran,
- 1:00Speaker 2: the oil situation will straighten itself out slowly but surely.
- 1:04Speaker 2: The price of oil spiked up even more when that
- 1:07Speaker 2: pipeline was blown up. It takes about two weeks to
- 1:10Speaker 2: fix a pipeline, which means it's about a week away
- 1:12Speaker 2: from being restored. And they are moving oil. You know,
- 1:17Speaker 2: the other situation was the Houthis screwing up the port
- 1:21Speaker 2: in the Red Sea. even with the Strait of Hormuz out,
- 1:25Speaker 2: even with the Red Sea port out, you can still
- 1:28Speaker 2: move the oil. It has to go a little further.
- 1:30Speaker 2: They have to move it out through the Suez Canal.
- 1:32Speaker 2: And you can't use the large tankers in the Suez Canal.
- 1:35Speaker 2: You've got to use the smaller ships. But they'll still
- 1:37Speaker 2: get the oil out, and the pipeline will be back
- 1:40Speaker 2: in action probably next week. And then they'll have swarms
- 1:43Speaker 2: of drones protecting the pipeline. Also, the other reason oil
- 1:48Speaker 2: is coming down, big problem with diesel fuel, And that
- 1:53Speaker 2: was the situation, not so much created by Iran, but
- 1:55Speaker 2: by Ukraine. And Ukraine has gotten really aggressive with Russia,
- 2:00Speaker 2: bombing everything in Russia, bombing oil facilities, and they hit
- 2:03Speaker 2: some diesel facilities, knocking out a lot of diesel fuel.
- 2:07Speaker 2: And that drove the price up all over the world.
- 2:10Speaker 2: So apparently President Trump's been on the phone with Zelensky
- 2:14Speaker 2: and Putin, and they've all made an agreement not to
- 2:17Speaker 2: hit any diesel facilities in not to knock out any
- 2:22Speaker 2: diesel fuel. Everybody's agreed to that. So you're seeing oil
- 2:26Speaker 2: come down. You're seeing the stock market futures showing a
- 2:29Speaker 2: surge will happen when the market opens. So that's good news.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Fed rate hike yesterday. The market pretty happy with that.
- 2:39Speaker 2: The president always going after that Fed board. It's the
- 2:43Speaker 2: leftover Jerome Powell board of Fed governors, and they're all terrible.
- 2:49Speaker 2: One by one, they'll get them all out. But the
- 2:50Speaker 2: president praising Kevin Warsh. Not mad at him for this.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Crazy Mom Donnie. Hey, just a reminder. Next week is
- 2:59Speaker 2: UN General Assembly Week. It's actually on now. But next
- 3:02Speaker 2: week is where all the world leaders come in. It
- 3:05Speaker 2: will be an absolute gridlock traffic nightmare in Manhattan next week.
- 3:11Speaker 2: You're not going to want to come into the city,
- 3:12Speaker 2: at least not drive in next week. It's going to
- 3:15Speaker 2: be a mess. Netanyahu will be here. You remember Mamdani
- 3:19Speaker 2: campaign promise. I would arrest Netanyahu even early in his
- 3:25Speaker 2: term saying he will arrest Netanyahu when he comes here.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Now he has absolutely no authority, none to go after Netanyahu.
- 3:34Speaker 2: He can't do it. Netanyahu is not a criminal. I
- 3:37Speaker 2: know there's a crazy little, what is that court? The
- 3:40Speaker 2: war court, international criminal court in the Hague. It's not
- 3:44Speaker 2: even a real court. It's just, some idiotic court a
- 3:47Speaker 2: bunch of people created. Nobody recognizes it except two crazy
- 3:53Speaker 2: dictators around the world. But it's not recognized by the
- 3:55Speaker 2: United States. That court has no authority, not a legitimate court.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Whatever charge they have against him is absolutely useless. And
- 4:05Speaker 2: then President Trump has assured Netanyahu he will not be arrested.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Federal agents and troops will protect him the entire time
- 4:12Speaker 2: he's here. Mamdani pretty much admitting He can't arrest Netanyahu.
- 4:17Speaker 3: We are talking about someone who has been charged with
- 4:20Speaker 3: crimes against humanity.
- 4:21Speaker 2: Well, wait a minute. No, he hasn't. That crazy fake
- 4:25Speaker 2: made-up court doesn't count.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Has visited the city on many an occasion and who
- 4:30Speaker 3: has been welcomed by previous mayors. And I want to
- 4:32Speaker 3: make it very clear that that welcome ends with me.
- 4:35Speaker 3: I will not be welcoming Benjamin Netanyahu or any other
- 4:37Speaker 3: war criminals when they come to this city. And I
- 4:40Speaker 3: do believe that our federal government should join the International
- 4:43Speaker 3: Criminal Court and ensure that there is accountability when it
- 4:45Speaker 3: comes to crimes against humanity.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's not a real court. It's a bunch
- 4:49Speaker 2: of left-wing kooks. Nobody's going to join it. Netanyahu is
- 4:53Speaker 2: not a war criminal. There are actual war criminals, those
- 4:56Speaker 2: that were behind the October 7th Holocaust, the raping and
- 5:01Speaker 2: slaughtering of babies and innocent people. If any of them
- 5:05Speaker 2: come here, of course, Mamdani will have them for dinner
- 5:08Speaker 2: at Gracie Mansion. So the reason he hates Netanyahu so much, A,
- 5:13Speaker 2: he's Jewish, and B, he's the head of America's greatest ally.
- 5:17Speaker 2: So that's two things. Mamdani can't stand. Now, these left-wing
- 5:23Speaker 2: kooks are all up in arms because, you know, the
- 5:26Speaker 2: Smithsonian Institute and a number of museums have just gone
- 5:31Speaker 2: so far to the left that they're just turning their
- 5:36Speaker 2: museums into ridiculous showcases of nonsense and And they're eliminating
- 5:41Speaker 2: all the American history out of them. The Smithsonian Institute.
- 5:45Speaker 2: That's the whole purpose. American history. They're eliminating most of it.
- 5:48Speaker 2: And if you walk up to the Smithsonian from the street,
- 5:51Speaker 2: what is in front of it? This enormous sculpture. Nobody
- 5:56Speaker 2: knows what the hell it is. It's a ridiculous looking sculpture.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Modern art. It's by Rivera. It's supposed to be an
- 6:03Speaker 2: incredible cutting edge work of modern art. Well, great. Send
- 6:07Speaker 2: it to the Museum of Modern Art right over there.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Down the block. Put it over there. Does not belong
- 6:13Speaker 2: in the Smithsonian. It's totally inappropriate. Mostly the Smithsonian are
- 6:19Speaker 2: kids and other people coming to learn about American history.
- 6:23Speaker 2: You don't need to visit starting with them stopping and going,
- 6:26Speaker 2: what the hell is that thing? It looks like some weird,
- 6:30Speaker 2: it's like a weather vane of curly, swirly stuff on top.
- 6:35Speaker 2: So President Trump wants that thing gone. Get that out
- 6:38Speaker 2: of there. Send it to a real modern art museum.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Let them display it. And he wants, this is what's
- 6:45Speaker 2: upsetting the kooks on the left. They're very upset about this.
- 6:51Speaker 2: He wants a statue of George Washington, big statue of
- 6:56Speaker 2: George Washington, right in front of the Smithsonian. They are
- 7:00Speaker 2: up in arms. Everybody will be attacking him. The New
- 7:02Speaker 2: York Times already going after him. the president's latest attack
- 7:07Speaker 2: on the museum. It's not an attack. He wants you
- 7:09Speaker 2: to put up a statue of George Washington. I would
- 7:12Speaker 2: think if I was starting a museum of American history,
- 7:15Speaker 2: I would think the first thing I would put up
- 7:17Speaker 2: is a statue of George Washington. What would be the
- 7:21Speaker 2: more obvious thing to put up? He also suggests they
- 7:25Speaker 2: have an exhibition about Washington's legacy. You know where the
- 7:30Speaker 2: museum is? It's in a city called Washington. Because of
- 7:34Speaker 2: George Washington. That's why it's Washington, D.C. So put up
- 7:38Speaker 2: a statue of the guy. The proposed statue would replace
- 7:42Speaker 2: that modern abstract piece of junk called Infinity by Jose
- 7:47Speaker 2: de Rivera. The Smithsonian describes the work as the first
- 7:53Speaker 2: piece of modern art commissioned by the federal government. Well,
- 7:57Speaker 2: nothing wrong with modern art, but we don't want the
- 7:58Speaker 2: federal government picking it, purchasing it, because they don't know
- 8:02Speaker 2: what the hell they're doing when it comes to art.
- 8:06Speaker 2: as President Trump points out, that strange modern sculpture tells
- 8:10Speaker 2: visitors nothing about America, inspires no one, honors none of
- 8:15Speaker 2: our great American heroes. George Washington does. So he's right, actually.
- 8:19Speaker 2: It makes more sense. Smithsonian, put up a statue of
- 8:22Speaker 2: George Washington. You know, he just got rid of the
- 8:25Speaker 2: head of the Smithsonian, this left-wing kook of a guy who, uh,
- 8:30Speaker 2: This guy is the one that wanted to put up
- 8:32Speaker 2: a George Floyd statue instead in front of the museum.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It has nothing to do with the purpose of the Smithsonian. So, hey, Mamdani,
- 8:42Speaker 2: besides the UN, has a big new project. This one
- 8:48Speaker 2: he may actually get done. Every time he proposes something,
- 8:51Speaker 2: free buses, free daycare, whatever he comes up with, supermarkets,
- 8:56Speaker 2: never happens. Never, ever actually happens. He never gets anything done.
- 9:01Speaker 2: This one he will get done. This is a major,
- 9:05Speaker 2: major effort for him. He thinks this is very important.
- 9:09Speaker 2: He's putting toilets all over New York, public toilets. He said,
- 9:14Speaker 2: we don't have enough public toilets. Do we have any
- 9:19Speaker 2: public toilets? Where's there a public toilet? I think there's
- 9:22Speaker 2: one or two subway stations that actually still have a.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Public restroom in them you'd have to be pretty brave
- 9:31Speaker 2: to go into a subway restroom but apparently there's still
- 9:35Speaker 2: a few so he wants to put these all over
- 9:36Speaker 2: the place each toilet i shouldn't say it's not just
- 9:41Speaker 2: a toilet it's like a fancy outhouse a fancy one
- 9:45Speaker 2: each one is 235 000 he's already bought 17 of
- 9:46Speaker 2: them they're very high tech this is part of a
- 9:48Speaker 2: four million dollar plan He eventually wants to add a
- 10:01Speaker 2: of these, 235,000 for each one, made by a company
- 10:06Speaker 2: called Throne Labs. It's a modular toilet company that submitted
- 10:12Speaker 2: the winning proposal. The toilets are ADA accessible, some complete
- 10:18Speaker 2: with running water, climate control, and baby changing tables. They'll
- 10:23Speaker 2: be open for use 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. So
- 10:27Speaker 2: if you've got to go to the bathroom at 6.45,
- 10:30Speaker 2: forget it. You're out of luck. You're not doing it.
- 10:32Speaker 2: 10.15 at night? I'm sorry. Can't do it. Now, to
- 10:37Speaker 2: open them, you need an app on your phone or
- 10:41Speaker 2: you can have a card. There's a QR code. You'll
- 10:44Speaker 2: need an app on your phone. Who's going to carry
- 10:47Speaker 2: that card around? This is my toilet card here. But
- 10:52Speaker 2: you'll have to have this app on your phone. Of course,
- 10:54Speaker 2: it's the city of New York, which means they'll drain
- 10:56Speaker 2: every piece of info and data out of your phone
- 10:59Speaker 2: at the same time. As will the Throne Bathroom Network.
- 11:03Speaker 2: That's embarrassing to have that on your phone. The Throne
- 11:07Speaker 2: Bathroom Network app. The app will give New Yorkers real-time
- 11:12Speaker 2: cleanliness ratings. So it's like kind of a Yelp-y kind
- 11:16Speaker 2: of thing. You're going to have a rating on each restroom.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Those without a smartphone can get the card. Now, here's
- 11:23Speaker 2: the thing. There's a 10-minute time limit. You have a
- 11:27Speaker 2: 10-minute time limit to use this toilet. And you get warnings.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You get a five-minute warning. Listen to this. Your use
- 11:37Speaker 2: time has expired.
- 11:38Speaker 5: The door is opening now.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're there past the 10 minutes and your
- 11:43Speaker 2: time expires, the door will open. So if you're sitting
- 11:46Speaker 2: there on the toilet, And it's 10 minutes and 2 seconds.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Your use time has expired. The door is opening now.
- 11:56Speaker 2: That's the city. Now, I guess they have to have
- 12:00Speaker 2: it automatically open because what if a bunch of homeless
- 12:02Speaker 2: people go in there and lock it? What if somebody
- 12:05Speaker 2: has a medical emergency in there and you need to
- 12:07Speaker 2: get in? But Mamdani is so proud of himself on this.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Today, we are putting the sewage back in sewer socialism.
- 12:15Speaker 3: And we're doing so because we believe that there is
- 12:17Speaker 3: no problem too big and no task too small for
- 12:20Speaker 3: City Hall to help you with.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Well, it's a big help. I think most people, most
- 12:26Speaker 2: people know how to find a bathroom somewhere. You know,
- 12:29Speaker 2: you can sneak into a restaurant, a hotel, and use
- 12:32Speaker 2: the bathroom.
- 12:32Speaker 4: But....
- 12:34Speaker 2: It's the one thing he will actually do. You'll actually
- 12:37Speaker 2: see them. I don't know where you're going to see them. Actually,
- 12:39Speaker 2: I think there's a Times Square one. There's a Union
- 12:42Speaker 2: Square one. They're kind of ugly. I mean, they're very
- 12:45Speaker 2: modern looking, but kind of eyesores. And you'll start to
- 12:48Speaker 2: see them around the city. Donald Trump's childhood home sells
- 12:53Speaker 2: for $ 2 million. $ 500, 000 renovation. It was actually going for
- 12:58Speaker 2: $ 2. 3 million. A little price cut. It's actually... his, there
- 13:04Speaker 2: were two childhood homes. This one, he only lived in
- 13:08Speaker 2: until he was four years old. This is the smaller house. Uh,
- 13:13Speaker 2: it was actually built by Fred Trump, his father back
- 13:16Speaker 2: in the 1940s, Fred Trump built it for himself. So,
- 13:19Speaker 2: you know, it's well built and, uh, it's a little house.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It's a little, uh, remember where Tessio lived and, or
- 13:26Speaker 2: Clemenza lived in the godfather looks exactly like that house. Uh, it's, uh,
- 13:32Speaker 2: It's got four bedrooms, made of brick and stucco. Now, again,
- 13:37Speaker 2: the president only lived there until he was four. And
- 13:40Speaker 2: then they moved to a bigger house, much bigger house
- 13:43Speaker 2: in Jamaica Estates. So if Trump was four when they moved,
- 13:47Speaker 2: I have a feeling he has very little memory of
- 13:50Speaker 2: that house. But from four years old to he grew up,
- 13:56Speaker 2: he lived in the bigger house in Jamaica Estates. That
- 13:58Speaker 2: one I'm sure he remembers well. So somebody is living
- 14:01Speaker 2: in this Donald Trump childhood home and paid $ 2 million
- 14:05Speaker 2: for us. For all the homes in that neighborhood, it's
- 14:08Speaker 2: one of the nicer looking ones. Very, very, very nice
- 14:10Speaker 2: looking one. So Republicans, still without the message, they need
- 14:14Speaker 2: some kind of message. I mean, they have a message.
- 14:18Speaker 2: They just haven't focused it to anything that people are hearing.
- 14:21Speaker 2: They should have done this before the big Republican midterm convention.
- 14:26Speaker 2: A lot of people now suggesting it should be about
- 14:28Speaker 2: gas prices. They're high right now. They're spiking because of
- 14:31Speaker 2: the Iran situation. But the message should be, for Trump,
- 14:36Speaker 2: this is a spike. For Democrats, this is their baseline.
- 14:40Speaker 2: This is where they start. So that should be something
- 14:43Speaker 2: to do with the message. You know, if you don't
- 14:45Speaker 2: like the price of gas now, the last thing you
- 14:47Speaker 2: want is Democrats. It'll get worse under them because they'll
- 14:50Speaker 2: shut down refineries. They'll shut down factories. oil wells, they'll
- 14:55Speaker 2: shut down drilling as they did before, as they do
- 14:58Speaker 2: every time they get in office. And then you'll see
- 15:00Speaker 2: a real spike. You know, one reason prices go up
- 15:03Speaker 2: like this is we don't have enough refinery space. The
- 15:06Speaker 2: same thing with the diesel fuel. We have, President Trump
- 15:10Speaker 2: has opened up drilling everywhere, but we don't have enough
- 15:14Speaker 2: refineries to, we can produce all the oil we want.
- 15:17Speaker 2: We're producing so much oil, we could never use it all,
- 15:20Speaker 2: but we don't have enough refineries to turn it into
- 15:23Speaker 2: gasoline so that's part of the problem we'll get to
- 15:26Speaker 2: uh this crazy mclemore this anti-semitic horrible guy uh this
- 15:32Speaker 2: is the kind of stuff he yells on.
- 15:34Speaker 4: Stage to all of my jewish brothers and sisters criticism
- 15:39Speaker 4: of israel criticism of apartheid being against genocide in no
- 15:46Speaker 4: way is a criticism.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Of you absolutely it's totally anti-semitic he just did it
- 15:50Speaker 2: he just called it uh Genocide. There was no genocide
- 15:53Speaker 2: by Israel. You could argue that Hamas committed genocide. I mean,
- 15:57Speaker 2: they committed a Holocaust. They were slaughtering, raping, and killing
- 16:01Speaker 2: women and babies, and it was just horrible. Just horrible.
- 16:05Speaker 2: This guy, Macklemore, he's got a history of this. He's
- 16:08Speaker 2: an awful, awful guy. Listen to this from a while back.
- 16:12Speaker 4: Yeah, f * * * America.
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, blank America. Yeah, f * * * America. And
- 16:24Speaker 2: listen to his fans. The nicest guy is Ed Sheeran.
- 16:28Speaker 2: One of the nicest guys in music. Ed Sheeran. He
- 16:32Speaker 2: gets himself tangled. What the hell was he doing using
- 16:35Speaker 2: Macklemore for an opening act? Probably a promoter that convinced
- 16:38Speaker 2: him to do it. But it's got him in all
- 16:41Speaker 2: kinds of trouble. He doesn't know what the hell to do.
- 16:44Speaker 2: And now he's getting boycotted. He's got AOC after him.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Hey, if Ed Sheeran comes on the radio while you're
- 16:50Speaker 3: driving along, are you changing the channels?
- 16:52Speaker 4: I am. Yeah.
- 16:54Speaker 2: He's got that Rashid Tlaib after him.
- 16:57Speaker 6: The more folks like Ed Sheeran and everybody side with
- 17:00Speaker 6: the billionaire class, with those that, again, benefit financially and
- 17:03Speaker 6: benefit personally from the status quo, shame on them. I
- 17:08Speaker 6: think it turns around and comes right back on them.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 2: This anti-Semitism, it's going to come right back at you Democrats.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Keep it up. You're getting away with it now, but
- 17:18Speaker 2: it'll end up destroying you, all of this anti-Semitism. Well,
- 17:23Speaker 2: we've got a lot to get to this morning. We'll
- 17:26Speaker 2: get to a lot more coming up. We'll get to
- 17:30Speaker 2: more crazy Mamdani schemes. We'll get to King Charles. We'll
- 17:33Speaker 2: get to Patrick Clancy and a whole lot more. Mark
- 17:36Speaker 2: Simone here, 9 to noon, three hours every day, 9
- 17:39Speaker 2: to noon on 710WOR. Mark Simone, live from the WOR
- 17:46Speaker 2: LifeVac studios. Well, hey, Patrick Clancy, you know, the husband
- 17:55Speaker 2: of Lindsay Clancy. First interview. First interview. 60 Minutes. Looks
- 18:00Speaker 2: like it's going to be this Sunday night. Big 60
- 18:03Speaker 2: Minutes interview with Patrick Clancy. You know, he lives in
- 18:06Speaker 2: New York now. Following his testimony, he had testified in
- 18:09Speaker 2: the case, he's remained in New York. I guess he
- 18:14Speaker 2: wanted to get the hell away from Boston and that
- 18:16Speaker 2: trial from Plymouth County. And he's been seen around New
- 18:20Speaker 2: York City with his new wife, Rachel Danis. So CBS
- 18:26Speaker 2: denounced big exclusive sit-down with Patrick Clancy this Sunday night
- 18:31Speaker 2: with correspondent Ross Duthat. Now, this is not like the
- 18:37Speaker 2: old 60 Minutes where they'd say Mike Wallace talks to,
- 18:39Speaker 2: or Morley Safer talks to. It's Ross Duthat, whoever that is.
- 18:45Speaker 2: They released a brief teaser clip. showing a very straight-faced-looking
- 18:51Speaker 2: Patrick Clancy walking in and sitting down under the lights
- 18:55Speaker 2: before the cameras. You can hear a voice off-screen going,
- 19:00Speaker 2: we're ready, we're good, we're rolling. Well, it sounds very dramatic,
- 19:04Speaker 2: but let's see what happens. Let's see what happens. It'll
- 19:06Speaker 2: be this Sunday night. So this is what 60 Minutes
- 19:10Speaker 2: is supposed to do, get these exclusive interviews, do exposés
- 19:14Speaker 2: with the hidden camera. do documentaries on American heroes. And
- 19:19Speaker 2: then also they do always, there was one, uh, showbiz
- 19:22Speaker 2: or sports, uh, celebrity kind of thing. So they're back
- 19:26Speaker 2: to what they're back to the original 60 minutes formula. Uh, Hey,
- 19:31Speaker 2: in Michigan, you got this race with Abdul El-Sayed, uh,
- 19:35Speaker 2: who will lose, you know, it's Michigan. It's the heartland.
- 19:39Speaker 2: It's the Rust Belt. Uh, Abdul El-Sayed is not going
- 19:42Speaker 2: to win a little ahead in some of the polls, but,
- 19:45Speaker 2: he'll fall behind. Now, he's got a big problem with
- 19:47Speaker 2: this Hassan Piker, this anti-Semitic left-wing kook extremist that he
- 19:54Speaker 2: is closely associated with. If reporters ask him about Hassan Piker,
- 19:59Speaker 2: he gets very angry now. But this Hassan Piker is
- 20:03Speaker 2: doubling down, getting even worse. He has said all kinds
- 20:06Speaker 2: of horrible anti-Semitic things, all kinds of crazy things. But
- 20:10Speaker 2: yesterday he told Axios that the U.S. This is exactly
- 20:17Speaker 2: what he said. The U.S. pound for pound is worse
- 20:19Speaker 2: than Al-Qaeda. We are the tremendous terrorists. The U.S. is
- 20:24Speaker 2: worse than Al-Qaeda. So this is the big problem with
- 20:28Speaker 2: Abdul El-Sayed. He's going to have to defend this. He
- 20:31Speaker 2: can keep blowing up at reporters and yelling, you're not
- 20:33Speaker 2: going to talk about this guy. But he's not going
- 20:37Speaker 2: to get out of it. There's going to be debates
- 20:39Speaker 2: and that's going to be the problem. Problem here in
- 20:41Speaker 2: New York, Kathy Hochul is refusing all the debates. She's
- 20:44Speaker 2: turning them all down. Channel 2, Channel 4, Channel 7,
- 20:49Speaker 2: Channel 5, they've all tried to get debates. Bruce Blakeman
- 20:53Speaker 2: has accepted every one of these debates. Kathy Hochul has
- 20:57Speaker 2: turned down every debate. The only one she's agreed to
- 21:01Speaker 2: is the little New York One debate. New York One's
- 21:04Speaker 2: a little tiny thing with very few viewers. So why
- 21:08Speaker 2: would she accept that one? Well, They're very, very, very left-wing,
- 21:13Speaker 2: very biased. You're going to get that Errol Lewis and
- 21:16Speaker 2: the other guy. I forget his name, but these are
- 21:20Speaker 2: very left-wing biased guys. So Hochul will agree to that one.
- 21:25Speaker 2: And so far, she has turned down all the major
- 21:28Speaker 2: TV stations in New York. This is unheard of for
- 21:31Speaker 2: a gubernatorial candidate, especially an incumbent. It's unheard of to
- 21:36Speaker 2: turn them all down. So she's scared. She's afraid to
- 21:39Speaker 2: debate big. Blakeman. She'll only do it with very, very,
- 21:42Speaker 2: very biased left-wing anchors. She picked a station that has
- 21:46Speaker 2: very few viewers, just in case. The other thing is
- 21:49Speaker 2: you might notice she's running and spending a lot of
- 21:52Speaker 2: money on this, running these vicious attack ads against Blakeman.
- 21:57Speaker 2: All of a sudden, she's spending a ton of money
- 21:59Speaker 2: on these. She's bombarding the airwaves. Now, what would make
- 22:02Speaker 2: her do that? Fear. Tremendous fear. She wasn't doing that
- 22:07Speaker 2: until recently, which means she saw some polling That frightened her.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Blakeman had been 20 points behind. And then he was
- 22:15Speaker 2: 10 points behind. Then he was five points behind. And
- 22:19Speaker 2: then there's a lot of polls that show him pretty
- 22:21Speaker 2: much neck and neck. So it terrified Kathy Hochul. She's
- 22:24Speaker 2: got a big war chest of about 30 million. So
- 22:29Speaker 2: she immediately, immediately just wrote a big, massive check. She
- 22:34Speaker 2: got terrified when she saw how Blakeman was doing in
- 22:36Speaker 2: the polls. When you see them start running those attack
- 22:39Speaker 2: ads like crazy, every time you see those vicious attack
- 22:42Speaker 2: ads on Blakeman, don't get mad. Get happy. It means
- 22:45Speaker 2: Hochul's in fear right now, really in fear. They're trying
- 22:51Speaker 2: to keep this AI hoax going, trying to really gin
- 22:53Speaker 2: this thing up. Listen, I'm sure there's a lot of
- 22:57Speaker 2: problems with AI. I'm sure it could get out of control.
- 22:59Speaker 2: But this whole thing is orchestrated. It's all for the
- 23:02Speaker 2: midterm elections. They think climate change is not working anymore
- 23:07Speaker 2: as an election issue. Give them credit. They got away
- 23:11Speaker 2: with it for about 35 years. Actually, 40 years, this
- 23:14Speaker 2: climate change stuff. You're all going to die. You're going
- 23:18Speaker 2: to drown. The glacier is going to melt. We'll all
- 23:22Speaker 2: be underwater. The heat will burn you up. They've been
- 23:24Speaker 2: trying this for 40 years. It's 40 years later. Nothing
- 23:28Speaker 2: is any different.
- 23:28Speaker 6: Nothing.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Nothing. Nothing. Oh, I know there was heavy rain over
- 23:33Speaker 2: the weekend and they wrote stories that we've never seen
- 23:35Speaker 2: rain like this. Yes, we have many times. We've never
- 23:39Speaker 2: had so much rain. All summer, I'm seeing drought warnings.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Drought warnings. Every time we had a lot of rain,
- 23:46Speaker 2: I'd watch the weather. Well, it did help with the reservoirs.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Still not enough. The reservoirs are still low. Yeah, check.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Reservoirs are low. We've not had a lot of rain
- 23:56Speaker 2: this year. So climate change not working. This is the
- 23:59Speaker 2: new climate change. That AI is going to kill us all.
- 24:02Speaker 2: It's going to wipe us all out. Only the Democrats
- 24:06Speaker 2: can save you. This technique, by the way, has been
- 24:07Speaker 2: in use for a long time. It goes back to
- 24:10Speaker 2: the French Revolution, believe it or not, where Democrats or
- 24:14Speaker 2: the left, the left would always come up with a demon,
- 24:17Speaker 2: a boogeyman to terrify you. And only they can save
- 24:20Speaker 2: you from the boogeyman. And I remember in different elections,
- 24:23Speaker 2: it was QAnon. It was the alt-right. Remember the alt-right?
- 24:27Speaker 2: You had to be. The Tea Party. You had to
- 24:29Speaker 2: be afraid of them. Only they could stop them. Only
- 24:31Speaker 2: they could save you. Remember, last year was MAGA extremists.
- 24:36Speaker 2: What the hell is a MAGA extremist? These MAGA extremists. So, again,
- 24:42Speaker 2: there could be an AI people today trying to put
- 24:44Speaker 2: out a list of incidents where the AI got a
- 24:48Speaker 2: little out of control. Jail broke itself out of some system.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Another one where it.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Created bots where it shouldn't. I mean, this is all bad.
- 24:59Speaker 2: But the cartel that controls AI, it's four companies. You
- 25:02Speaker 2: could fix this tonight if you wanted. And if you need,
- 25:06Speaker 2: we have to slow down. We have to have guardrails.
- 25:08Speaker 2: We have to slow down. It's four companies control the
- 25:10Speaker 2: whole thing. It's a cartel. If we need that, put
- 25:13Speaker 2: it in tonight. Government regulated. Start to slow down tonight.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Slow down. It's four of you. You all talk to
- 25:20Speaker 2: each other. You're all arm and arm. You need to
- 25:22Speaker 2: slow down. Slow down. Do it tonight. Anyway, we'll talk
- 25:25Speaker 2: more about this and a lot more. We'll take some calls.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Coming up, Mark Simone here on 710WOR. Mark Simone.
- 25:32Speaker 4: Mr.
- 25:33Speaker 2: New York.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Now three hours every weekday from 9 till noon on 710WOR.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Well, we'll take some calls in a minute.
- 25:42Speaker 5: 800-321-0710 is the number.
- 25:42Speaker 4: 800-321-0710.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Zero seven, 10. As I mentioned, the, uh, AI, uh, hoax,
- 25:53Speaker 2: it's going to be like the climate change hoax. This
- 25:55Speaker 2: is going to be big, uh, is taking place every year.
- 25:58Speaker 2: All the Democrats are jumping in on it. The media
- 26:00Speaker 2: is getting involved. Guess who's next? The UN big UN
- 26:04Speaker 2: general assembly. Uh, next week, the UN is going to
- 26:07Speaker 2: try to lead this, uh, AI hoax, this, uh, AI fear, uh,
- 26:13Speaker 2: good terrorists. The UN general secretary, secretary general is, uh,
- 26:18Speaker 2: already conspiring with everybody on this. So expect this to
- 26:23Speaker 2: be a big thing next week, U.N. General Assembly week.
- 26:26Speaker 2: The U.N., the A.I. scare, the A.I. or it's going
- 26:30Speaker 2: to kill us all. Now, one of the reasons the U.N.
- 26:32Speaker 2: is jumping in and the other reason they like this
- 26:35Speaker 2: hoax is there's a lot of money to be made here.
- 26:38Speaker 2: You know, oh, we're going to need regulation. The government
- 26:40Speaker 2: is going to, well, that means there's going to be
- 26:41Speaker 2: fees and it's going to cost you more. The U.N.
- 26:44Speaker 2: would like to be the governing board of A.I. They
- 26:48Speaker 2: would like to play a primary role in governing AI
- 26:53Speaker 2: because there's a lot of money in this AI. These
- 26:57Speaker 2: AI companies are making trillions. So everybody wants in on
- 27:01Speaker 2: this hoax. Let's go to Phil in Queens. Phil, how
- 27:05Speaker 2: you doing? Hey, Mark.
- 27:07Speaker 5: The UN also wants to sabotage Trump. I live near
- 27:11Speaker 5: Trump's new and old house. Both of them were in
- 27:15Speaker 5: Jamaica Estates, the smaller house. closer to the smaller area
- 27:21Speaker 5: of Jamaica State, closer to Union Turnpike. And the big
- 27:25Speaker 5: one was on Midland Boulevard, this gorgeous Georgian mansion. And
- 27:28Speaker 5: my wife actually had dinner there several times. Mary would
- 27:33Speaker 5: always order German food.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Her dad... Mary is Trump's mother.
- 27:38Speaker 5: Yes, would order Wienerschnitzel for him because he was German.
- 27:43Speaker 5: And of course, Fred was German. And lovely woman. And anyway,
- 27:51Speaker 5: beautiful house. The big mansion is a Georgian mansion on
- 27:54Speaker 5: a hill.
- 27:55Speaker 2: You already said that. Okay.
- 27:58Speaker 5: Anyway, just a small point. I've been trying to call
- 28:01Speaker 5: into this.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Go ahead. Let's get to it. Go ahead.
- 28:05Speaker 5: Yeah, they go after Trump on the draft. Trump was
- 28:08Speaker 5: actually in the 1969 draft. He had a draft number.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Well, they're always going to go after, yeah, he got
- 28:15Speaker 2: a good draft number. But they always go after him
- 28:17Speaker 2: as a draft dodger because he had, what did he have?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Bone spurs. He had bone spurs. They never go after
- 28:24Speaker 2: anybody else. Cheney ducked a draft with a million student deferments.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Nobody ducked a draft more than Joe Biden. He had
- 28:30Speaker 2: like eight student deferments. Suddenly claimed he had asthma for
- 28:34Speaker 2: the draft. You know, Biden wrote a 600-page autobiography, mostly
- 28:39Speaker 2: about his childhood. Never mentioned this asthma. But, listen, we've
- 28:43Speaker 2: had a lot of draft dodging present. Everybody did it
- 28:46Speaker 2: back then. Bill Clinton, of course. Everybody did it back then.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Let's go to David in Queens. David, how you doing?
- 28:54Speaker 3: Hey, Mark.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Good morning.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Mark, Tom Suozzi is littering Queens and Nassau County with
- 28:58Speaker 1: his signs that said his slogan is, he sees things
- 29:02Speaker 1: our way. I hope people remember Tom Suozzi did nothing
- 29:06Speaker 1: when Creedmoor was inundated.
- 29:08Speaker 5: With about 6,000 Third World.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Cutthroats, and he's done nothing with the communists.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Thank you, Mark.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Well, listen, I like Tom Suozzi. He's a good guy.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Tom Suozzi's okay. He's a common-sense Democrat. But, but, I
- 29:21Speaker 2: don't know what happens to these Democrats. They get terrified
- 29:23Speaker 2: of these woke left-wing AOCs. So, a whole life they're
- 29:27Speaker 2: common-sense Democrats. Then they get so afraid of this far-left
- 29:31Speaker 2: extremist squad. So, They join in with them on stuff.
- 29:35Speaker 2: But once they clean out... the communists, the socialists, the anti-Semites,
- 29:44Speaker 2: once they clean them out of there, hopefully the Tom
- 29:46Speaker 2: Swazis of the world can go back to normal. Let's
- 29:50Speaker 2: go to Barbara in Woodside. Barbara, how you doing?
- 29:53Speaker 1: Yeah, hi.
- 29:54Speaker 2: Hey, no, hold it down.
- 29:55Speaker 7: People sleeping here. One of those bathrooms is in Woodside.
- 29:59Speaker 7: And let me tell you, it's on 34th Avenue and
- 30:02Speaker 7: 64th Street. You know what's there? Warehouses and tiny homes.
- 30:06Speaker 7: No street traffic, no stores, no playgrounds, no reason for
- 30:10Speaker 7: anybody to walk past it. It is two blocks from
- 30:14Speaker 7: the BQE overpass. You wouldn't dare go there once it
- 30:17Speaker 7: gets dark. So why did he place it there?
- 30:22Speaker 2: You got your radio on. I can hear the playback.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Listen to that.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 30:27Speaker 2: All right. Because it's the city government. They don't do
- 30:30Speaker 2: anything right. Whatever it is, they can screw it up.
- 30:33Speaker 2: That's why they're in the city government. That's why they're
- 30:35Speaker 2: not in the private sector getting $ 2 million a year.
- 30:37Speaker 7: But it's not right. And nobody will tell you this.
- 30:40Speaker 7: He gets away with this. And he's done so many
- 30:43Speaker 7: bad things. I don't know. If I was younger, I
- 30:46Speaker 7: would leave. But I'm not.
- 30:47Speaker 2: You're young. You could leave. Where would you go?
- 30:49Speaker 7: That's the problem.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Where would you go?
- 30:52Speaker 7: That's right. Florida's way too hot. You talked me into
- 30:55Speaker 7: that one.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 2: So where would you go?
- 30:57Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Where do you live? Woodside? Woodside?
- 31:01Speaker 7: On Woodside, four blocks from where it is. It's there already.
- 31:04Speaker 2: So why don't you go move to Long Island? You
- 31:06Speaker 2: can go right over the border. But you need a car.
- 31:10Speaker 7: You get older. You can't drive as much as you
- 31:12Speaker 7: used to.
- 31:13Speaker 2: So why don't you move to Boston? You don't need
- 31:16Speaker 2: a car there.
- 31:18Speaker 7: Boston?
- 31:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:19Speaker 7: No, they're crazy up in Boston. We think they're crazy here.
- 31:21Speaker 7: They're crazier there.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. Okay. Where else?
- 31:26Speaker 5: Help me out. All right.
- 31:27Speaker 2: Let me think about it. Yeah, you've got to find
- 31:29Speaker 2: a place where you don't need to drive.
- 31:30Speaker 1: All right.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Well, thanks for calling. That's the other thing. You're right
- 31:32Speaker 2: about those. First of all, they're putting one of those
- 31:35Speaker 2: Mamdani toilets in Times Square. It holds one person at
- 31:39Speaker 2: a time. So what does that mean? One person at
- 31:42Speaker 2: a time. What does that mean? You're going to have
- 31:43Speaker 2: a line of 6,000 people. for this one toilet. Do
- 31:48Speaker 2: you ever try to use the bathroom in a Starbucks?
- 31:51Speaker 2: I mean, when you're a customer, when you're spending money,
- 31:55Speaker 2: where's the bathroom? It's over there. There's always four people
- 31:58Speaker 2: in line and whoever's in there right now is taking
- 32:00Speaker 2: 20 minutes. It's always that way. So imagine, now the
- 32:03Speaker 2: Mamdani toilet, you got a 10 minute limit. Although that's
- 32:07Speaker 2: a long time, you know, 10 minutes. The hell are
- 32:10Speaker 2: you doing in there for 10 minutes? You have a
- 32:12Speaker 2: 10 minute time limit and the door automatically opens. So,
- 32:16Speaker 2: That doesn't mean you have to actually get up and
- 32:18Speaker 2: go out, actually. You could stay there if you like,
- 32:20Speaker 2: but they'll actually pull you out. But you get warnings.
- 32:24Speaker 2: You get a five-minute warning. Your use time has expired.
- 32:27Speaker 2: The door is opening now. And then you get that.
- 32:30Speaker 2: The door is opening now. And so this is not
- 32:33Speaker 2: fair to the people in line. If they're standing there
- 32:36Speaker 2: in line and all of a sudden, and it opens
- 32:39Speaker 2: up and you got to see this homeless guy on the,
- 32:41Speaker 2: this is not good. Not good at all. But the
- 32:45Speaker 2: Mamdani toilets are coming. And Barbara has a good point.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Knowing Mamdani, Times Square is pretty obvious. Union Square is
- 32:51Speaker 2: pretty obvious. But knowing Mamdani, he'll put them in the
- 32:55Speaker 2: worst places imaginable. Anyway, it's Mark Simone here. Nine to
- 32:59Speaker 2: noon every day. Three hours every day. Nine to noon. Fall, autumn,
- 33:06Speaker 2: five days away. It's going to be nice today. A
- 33:09Speaker 2: little warmer today. Hey, don't forget at noon, we got
- 33:12Speaker 2: all the top talk show hosts in the world are here.
- 33:14Speaker 2: At noon, you got Buck Sexton, Clay Travis. Three o'clock,
- 33:20Speaker 2: the number one most listened to talk show host in America,
- 33:23Speaker 2: Sean Hannity. Six o'clock, you got Jesse Kelly. Nine o'clock,
- 33:26Speaker 2: you got the very funny Jimmy Fallon. Is today Thursday?
- 33:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Oh, that means he'll be with us later. Jimmy Fallon
- 33:34Speaker 2: will be with us later in the program. here on 710WOR.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Mark Simone.
- 33:39Speaker 4: Mr.
- 33:39Speaker 5: New York.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Now three hours every weekday from 9 till noon on 710WOR.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Hey, well, fall, autumn officially begins in five days, but
- 33:52Speaker 2: maybe sooner. Look at this, the weather forecast. Oh, yeah,
- 33:57Speaker 2: look at this. Today, 81 will be the high. Tomorrow,
- 34:00Speaker 2: 81 will be the high. Saturday... 70. That's it. 70
- 34:08Speaker 2: is the high on Saturday. Sunday, high 69. Monday, high 66.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I'm looking at next week. It's mostly in the 60s.
- 34:18Speaker 2: That's the high next week. All right. All right. You
- 34:21Speaker 2: can get those jackets out and those coats out, those
- 34:24Speaker 2: sweaters out. It's coming. Anyway, we've got a lot to
- 34:28Speaker 2: get to in the next hour. We'll get back to
- 34:30Speaker 2: that crazy Macklemore, and we'll get to the midterms. and
- 34:35Speaker 2: a whole lot more to take a look at. We'll
- 34:37Speaker 2: get to King Charles and the two wacky idiots, Meghan
- 34:42Speaker 2: and Harry, and more, coming up right after the news
- 34:45Speaker 2: on 710WOR.
