- 0:01Let's look at a new exciting chart for silver and talk about
- 0:05why it's so important with the situation.
- 0:08The big warning that I'm going to give you today about what is
- 0:11happening right now in the economy and why that has
- 0:14everything to do with where silver is going.
- 0:17Let's head right out to the chart.
- 0:19This one is a doozy and it comes from rock bottom entries.
- 0:24It says silver. This is something we've not
- 0:26looked at yet is repeating its 2011 set up Same flush, same RSI
- 0:33reset the 70. This is where things can
- 0:36accelerate. But there's something super an
- 0:39extra bonus feature that he forgot to mention in this chart
- 0:43and what it's showing us here guys, let me get the crayons
- 0:46out. This right here is 2011.
- 0:49Remember, silver had gone up and up, but then it had a little bit
- 0:54of a correction. I'm circling it right there,
- 0:56similar to what we've gone through in the last couple of
- 0:59months. And then silver went from about
- 1:02$30.00 an ounce all the way up here to $50 per oz.
- 1:08What they're saying is that the situation, but there's a big
- 1:12reason why we can be excited about this that we're in right
- 1:16now, is very, very similar, right?
- 1:19We had a big run up in the price of silver and then subsequently
- 1:25we've got that red candle very similar to what happened over
- 1:28there and that we could run much, much higher.
- 1:31But what we're not what we need to consider about this, which is
- 1:36critical to what's going on. This run up happened after the
- 1:41great financial crisis, OK? It happened in the wake of the
- 1:46great financial crisis. We haven't had the great
- 1:50financial crisis #2 yet. And in this video, we're going
- 1:53to talk about a number of like immediate factors right in front
- 1:57of our face that that that point towards us going towards some
- 2:00very difficult economic times and some big major factors as
- 2:05well. They could provide Rocket Pocket
- 2:07fuel for the price of gold and silver like we haven't seen
- 2:10before. Thank you for being here.
- 2:12Thanks for being part of the basement.
- 2:13Please don't forget, subscribe to the channel, give the video a
- 2:17thumbs up. That's all free.
- 2:18We appreciate you on behalf of upstairs, Susie and myself.
- 2:22Thank you. Thank you.
- 2:23Let's start by talking about Home Depot, OK?
- 2:27Home Depot is like the country's biggest home improvement
- 2:30retailer. From thestreet.com, they're
- 2:33saying Home Depot sees worrisome shift in consumer behavior.
- 2:37Recent filings from the retailer indicate consumers have a
- 2:41negative outlook on the economy and the housing market.
- 2:45I won't bore you with all the details, but here in a nutshell,
- 2:49what they're basically saying is that at Home Depot, big ticket
- 2:53item sales, like big fancy, you know, those refrigerators that
- 2:56have TV screens on them and ice that comes out in 15 different
- 3:01ways. And I don't like that stuff
- 3:02personally, but you know what I'm talking about.
- 3:04Four thousand, $3000, Those aren't selling.
- 3:07Those are down the tubes. What people?
- 3:10The only thing that people now are spending money on at Home
- 3:12Depot are things like plumbing and electric, like maintenance
- 3:17type items. That's what Home Depot is
- 3:19warning about. But wait, there's more because
- 3:22remember guys, when this next and there's a lot more for us to
- 3:25talk about. It's getting ugly out there.
- 3:27We're going to talk about CarMax.
- 3:28We're going to talk about Walmart.
- 3:30Well, let's go to Walmart. Yeah, let's go to Walmart next.
- 3:33What's Walmart telling us? Walmart is saying, Uh oh, hold
- 3:38on, wrong screen. Here we go.
- 3:39Yep, here we are. Let me close that.
- 3:43These darn websites, Walmart. And this comes from the Daily
- 3:47Mail UK. Ominous Walmart signal that
- 3:51predicted the last four downturns flashes red again.
- 3:56Let's see if we can pick something here.
- 3:58Jim Paulson, a veteran economist for more than 40 years, tracks
- 4:02what he calls a Walmart recession signal, which compares
- 4:07Walmart stock to that of luxury fashion retailers.
- 4:12As shoppers flock towards cheaper stores like Walmart and
- 4:16away from designer brands, the signal flashes red, pointing to
- 4:20a recession and looming nearby. And that's exactly what's
- 4:24happened. Now, if you're, if you're a
- 4:25middle class person, like upstairs, Susie and I, trying to
- 4:28raise a family, right? The money gets stretched, the
- 4:31money gets thin, right? So maybe instead of going to
- 4:33Macy's or buying some designer stuff, maybe you're going to
- 4:37Walmart to buy your, your new shirts or whatever.
- 4:41That's another big major shift that's going on right now.
- 4:45But what about the car market? CarMax is the United States
- 4:48largest used car retailer. Let's listen to what we're
- 4:52hearing about CarMax. We got a little video clip and
- 4:55this is fascinating. I love this guy.
- 4:59He's very popular on YouTube. Hold on here, let me pull him up
- 5:03full screen for you. Listen to what he says about
- 5:06what is happening at this at massive CarMax locations around
- 5:10the country. So today I'm at CarMax because
- 5:13they are in panic mode and they are running out of space to
- 5:16actually park their cars. They are overrun with inventory
- 5:19to the actual value of their company has been cut in half
- 5:23because shareholders know that CarMax is not a space that they
- 5:26want to be in. It's been so bad that they fired
- 5:28their seats, but the new one that they have put in place
- 5:31might surprise you. They've been cutting prices, but
- 5:34still their sales are down 10% year over year.
- 5:37So yeah, it's been so bad now here at CarMax that they
- 5:40actually fired their CEO and they brought in some.
- 5:43OK, so CarMax is actually now stacking the cars in their lot
- 5:48on top of each other. But wait, there's more.
- 5:50I forgot to tell you, the people who can't afford to shop at
- 5:53Walmart now are going to the dollar store.
- 5:56But it's not the dollar store anymore.
- 5:57It's the dollar 25 or the dollar 50 store or $5 store.
- 6:02And on top of that, and I don't make, I'm not making light of
- 6:05this because it is, it is scary what is going on.
- 6:08It'll be a boom for precious metals in the end, it'll be a
- 6:11boom, no doubt about it. But we also get reports that
- 6:15middle class families are showing up more and more often
- 6:19at food banks as well. So keep an eye out though.
- 6:23The other thing, the most micro indicator of all, I call it the
- 6:28coupon run. I have a, excuse me, I love
- 6:33coupons upstairs. Susie will tell you I love using
- 6:36coupons, but I get a lot. There were no coupon offers
- 6:39coming through right over the last, I don't know, like 2-3,
- 6:43four years ago, especially post C-19 when everybody had all this
- 6:47money out there, there were no, now I'm getting coupons all the
- 6:50time. I'm going to give you a glimpse
- 6:51into my e-mail inbox. Here you go.
- 6:55Excuse me. Hold on, there you go.
- 7:00Right here, right now, even Subway is sending buy one get
- 7:04one free coupons. It's getting bad out there,
- 7:08guys, and it's a lot of it has to do with inflation.
- 7:11Think about what's happening on top of all this, the oil shock
- 7:15that's going on. According to the latest news
- 7:18reports, the Strait of Hormuz is not exactly open yet.
- 7:22And then yesterday we got that news from CNN.
- 7:25I meant to pull the article up. Darn it.
- 7:28Our news from the government about inflation, Inflation
- 7:32numbers were like crazy high here.
- 7:34Hold on, you look at that BOGO coupon.
- 7:37Let's see if I can pull up the inflation article real quick.
- 7:41Hold on, go on. 2nd. Darn it, inflation.
- 7:56Hold on. I'm not giving up.
- 7:58You know what? I'll share the screen with you.
- 8:00Here you go, guys. OK, let's go to CNN.
- 8:04Inflation. Here we go.
- 8:09This was yesterday headline from CNN.
- 8:13Come on CNN, Iran war oil shock push pushes inflation to 3.3%
- 8:20and it's expected to get worse. We got horrible news yesterday
- 8:23on inflation. Don't forget when it comes to
- 8:25silver and gold, at the end of the day, there's one thing that
- 8:29will drive the prices higher. That will be inflation because
- 8:33inflation is the same thing as saying the US dollar is going
- 8:37down. So be prepared and be prepared
- 8:40for silver volatility as well. OK guys, this is is is this
- 8:45unfolds initially, right? Is the economic doom comes to
- 8:49fruition, which I believe it will everybody thinks, oh, we
- 8:52won't never have another big recession.
- 8:54Well, when we do, we could have a little bit of a downdraft in
- 8:58the price of silver, but it'll be just like the chart we looked
- 9:01at earlier, right Initially A drawdown, but as soon as they
- 9:05start printing money right, which is the only thing they can
- 9:09do, the price of silver will absolutely, absolutely
- 9:13skyrocket. If you want to get your hands on
- 9:15some silver, check out channel sponsor First Mint.

- 9:46There's their new Liberty Bar. And don't forget also there's a
- 9:51discount code for you special right basement dwellers, our
- 9:55community only VIP like very important person RB, you'll get
- 10:00a little discount as well. Now we're going to talk about
- 10:03the big, big picture, OK? We talked about Home Depot, we
- 10:08talked about CarMax, we talked about Walmart, we talked about
- 10:10the dollar store, We talked about buy one, get one, free
- 10:13coupons. Things are slowing down.
- 10:15But on a bigger picture, we've got even more major issues going
- 10:19on that are going to drive the value of the dollar
- 10:23unfortunately even lower than the first one is going to be the
- 10:27Petro dollar. And I'll quickly explain to you
- 10:29why that is probably the most least talked about, but most
- 10:34important factor that could impact the value of the dollar
- 10:37and the value of your gold and silver as we go forward.
- 10:41Let's go out here because even hold on here.
- 10:45Hold on. Even Bloomberg.
- 10:49There we go. We'll pull this up.
- 10:50First is talking about it. The Iran war just broke the
- 10:54Petro dollar. OK, If you don't understand what
- 10:57the petrodollar is, we're going to give a quick crash course
- 11:00right now. The petrodollar basically means
- 11:02that when they took the dollar off the gold standard in 1971,
- 11:07right? Remember, Nixon did that, that
- 11:09whole story. They moved the dollar to
- 11:11essentially being backed by oil. Kissinger went to the Middle
- 11:15East and said, hey guys, if you want to remain friends with us,
- 11:18you can only sell oil in dollars.
- 11:21So what happened is all the oil in all the world, and oil is the
- 11:25blood of the world economy. Oil is everything still, even
- 11:29now, all the oil was essentially being sold in dollars.
- 11:34So they would sell oil for dollars and then they would use
- 11:37those dollars to buy U.S. Treasuries, which allowed the
- 11:41United States to rack up this horrible, horrible debt that
- 11:44we're in. The Petro dollar, a lot of
- 11:47people are saying is now ending. It was already in process.
- 11:52But what's happened now with this war and what's happening is
- 11:55going with is, is speeding up the process.
- 11:58And that, my friends, is a big, big, big, big deal that could
- 12:02have major ramifications on top of everything else, right on top
- 12:07of the just the overall kind of cruddy situation situation in
- 12:10the economy. But wait, there's more because
- 12:13this private credit think of everything the economy slowing,
- 12:16the Petro dollar being in trouble, geopolitical issues on
- 12:19top of that. I don't want to be so doom and
- 12:22gloom, but there's it really is not looking pretty guys, is is
- 12:25the private credit situation And we hear this.
- 12:28Well here, let's do this first, just quickly.
- 12:33This is a very not not fun, but I guess for lack of a better way
- 12:37to describe it, fun graphic to look at this.
- 12:40These are currencies that are soaring against the US dollar,
- 12:44the shekel of 20 in the last year, the shekel of 20% against
- 12:48the dollar. The dollar is dropping against
- 12:50the Colombian peso, the South African Rand, the Mexican peso,
- 12:54the Australian dollar, Brazilian dollar, Nigeria's money,
- 12:57Norwegian, Kazakhstani, whatever, and Malaysia, the
- 13:02dollar is in trouble. But we got to talk about this,
- 13:07right? The elephant in the room.
- 13:10OK, private credit, the end of. Oh, hold on here, I'm not
- 13:15sharing the screen. Sorry, guys, Darn it, I
- 13:18apologize. There's the graphic I just
- 13:20showed you or didn't show you that shows the dollar losing all
- 13:25that value. Now let's go over here and share
- 13:28the right screen and go to the Business Insider who's telling
- 13:31us it's the end of the road. Oh, I hate those pop ups.
- 13:37Market heavyweights Michael Bury and Jeffrey Gunlock.
- 13:40OK Michael Bury's the guy that called the great financial
- 13:43crisis The Big Short, OK. And Jeffrey Gunlock, the founder
- 13:46of Double Line Capital, billionaire, the bond king, both
- 13:50eye trouble ahead for private credit, but OK, all right now on
- 13:56top of that, we've got we've got Ray Dalio, OK.
- 14:00And more and more and more these are the smartest people in the
- 14:04room. And we have some crazy data to
- 14:06look at about this private credit.
- 14:08But the private credit situation is very similar to the
- 14:11mortgage-backed security situation that created the great
- 14:15financial crisis. Am I speculating?
- 14:17Yes. Is it a little more than
- 14:19speculation? Yes.
- 14:21Did the great financial crisis usher in a period of money
- 14:24printing that created that that the chart that we looked at
- 14:29earlier, big returns in gold and silver?
- 14:31Yes. Will it happen again?
- 14:33Yes, I believe that it absolutely will.
- 14:36And look at this additional data that we have to look at when it
- 14:40comes to what is happening right now in private credit.
- 14:44This come from no limit. Private credit is in big
- 14:47trouble. These are withdrawals have
- 14:50spiked in private credit. This shows going back to January
- 14:542023, right? All these redemptions are the
- 14:57dark blue lines. But look at what's happening now
- 15:00and this would be a quarterly chart.
- 15:03Now we have redemptions which are way up, but a light blue
- 15:08section which also indicates they cannot meet the
- 15:11redemptions. People are asking for their
- 15:13money back in private credit, can't give it.
- 15:16Now we're also seeing it in the stock market.
- 15:19OK, the big short says Apollo Global Management next to
- 15:23plummet Blue Owl, which is a big private credit company.
- 15:28Let's just go down and look at this chart, right?
- 15:30Blue Owl is at 52 week lows on their stock price.
- 15:34Blue Owl is a massive. It was one of the darling
- 15:38private credit companies. Guys, this is happening.
- 15:41This is coming to fruition. And we need no more evidence
- 15:46than this because Reuters, this is a double feature.
- 15:50Reuters is reporting that Bloomberg is reporting that the
- 15:55Federal Reserve has asked about US Bank's exposure to private
- 16:01credit firms. This was just out yesterday
- 16:04after the market closed, OK, That our friends there, right,
- 16:10there's the Federal Reserve building.
- 16:12They are asking the banks to report to them.
- 16:16Just how much exposure do you have to private credit?
- 16:19Just I mean, think about we got the private and then there's the
- 16:21whole debt issue, which we're going to cover in more detail
- 16:25tomorrow, right? But you got the private credit
- 16:27issue, you got the petrodollar situation.
- 16:30You've got what on every level, like everybody says, like the
- 16:34last six weeks in particular that the US economy threw the
- 16:37brakes on guys. And we have the chart that we
- 16:40looked at at the very beginning of this live stream that shows
- 16:43us the setup that we're in right now looks very similar to 2011.
- 16:50But as an extra added bonus feature, we haven't even had the
- 16:54great financial crisis 2.0 yet. And in this private credit
- 16:59stuff, it is, it's, it's, it's during the great financial
- 17:03crisis, they, they, they grouped together a bunch of crappy home
- 17:07mortgage loans and sold them as mortgage-backed securities.
- 17:10Now they, they, what they're doing with private credit is
- 17:13they grouped together a whole bunch of crappy loans to
- 17:17software companies. OK, that's the reality.
- 17:20Software tech companies that aren't making any money, most of
- 17:24them are are cash flow negative and they group them together and
- 17:28then these fancy Wall Street salesman tell people, oh, you
- 17:32can buy into this private credit fund and make 9% returns, 12
- 17:37percent, 9%. And those fancy salesman from
- 17:40Wall Street make big huge commissions off those deals just
- 17:45like what was happening with the mortgage-backed securities back
- 17:48in 2007, 2008. And you know how that ended.
- 17:53It's going to and really, really well for the precious metals as
- 17:56well. Hey guys, I want to say thank
- 17:58you for joining us down here in the basement.
- 18:00We'll be back tomorrow. Keep up the great work.
- 18:03If you enjoyed your time down here, please subscribe to the
- 18:06channel, give the video thumbs up and I will look forward to
- 18:10seeing you. Yes, you next time.
- 18:13Have a great day. Bye bye.
