In 1991, I reached the magical age of 55 years. I was now eligible for early retirement. My Air National Guard commander at that time considered that 55 was required retirement. Early one morning, I was driving to Nashville to appeal my case with the Adjunct General; I stopped at a Hardee’s. As I sat to eat, I thought the lady had undercharged me, so I looked at the receipt on my tray. I discovered that I had received a non-requested senior discount.
God has blessed me to live long enough that I now know I am in the checkout generation. With scripture in mind, I can keep my faith strong…
