The Tubs - "My songs do a hatchet job on myself"

101 Part Time Jobs with Giles Bidder · Aug 18, 2026 · 45m

If you don't yet know The Tubs - get quick now on the train the jangletown. Owen Williams joins on how he confronts intrusive thoughts with songwriting, the hundreds of hours he's put into writing fiction and the paradox of being from a DIY-minded background and wanting to make music part of his living. The Tubs' new album Hard Life is out 11 September, pre-order it: https://thetubs.bandcamp.com/album/hard-life
