- 0:00Speaker 1: The Byron Donaldson I know, he will be the next
- 0:02Speaker 1: governor of Florida. He's a phenomenal member. He's one of
- 0:05Speaker 1: the best communicators we have in our entire party. And
- 0:08Speaker 1: there has been nobody that's been done more TV than
- 0:10Speaker 1: Byron Donaldson across the board on behalf of the president.
- 0:13Speaker 1: If you look at the 2024 cycle, he was there
- 0:15Speaker 1: every single day. I don't care what the website says.
- 0:18Speaker 1: He is the most pro-Donald Trump member of Congress I
- 0:21Speaker 1: think we have in the Congress right now. He's going
- 0:23Speaker 1: to push the America First agenda, but he's really about
- 0:27Speaker 1: the Florida First. And so what the website says is,
- 0:29Speaker 1: It's irrelevant. I know he stands side by side with
- 0:31Speaker 1: the president all the time.
- 0:33Speaker 2: You're listening to the 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning. So nice to have you with us
- 0:39Speaker 3: in the 47 Morning Update. And we've got one big
- 0:41Speaker 3: story for you. Democrats are going all in now to
- 0:44Speaker 3: make it clear to voters. If you elect them, they
- 0:47Speaker 3: will go after the president of the United States of America.
- 0:50Speaker 3: and impeach him. But not just that. The lawfare is coming.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Subpoenas and attacks on his entire cabinet and anyone around
- 0:58Speaker 3: the president of the United States of America. The Speaker
- 1:00Speaker 3: of the House, Mike Johnson, declaring that this is a
- 1:04Speaker 3: moment for a big warning and you better be ready
- 1:07Speaker 3: if you don't get out and vote in November. We're
- 1:09Speaker 3: going to talk about that. All right, let me just
- 1:11Speaker 3: take a moment here and pause and talk to you
- 1:14Speaker 3: real quick about Kaushik. The midterm elections are heating up.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Congressional control and President Trump's agenda hang in the balance,
- 1:21Speaker 3: and every headline has the potential to shift the odds.
- 1:24Speaker 3: On CalSheet, you can trade major primaries, election outcomes, and
- 1:28Speaker 3: the biggest political storylines as they happen. Let me give
- 1:31Speaker 3: you an example of right now what is up if
- 1:33Speaker 3: you go to CalSheet. Democrats, they now say, have a 62%
- 1:37Speaker 3: chance to control the Senate. Yeah, not the House. That
- 1:41Speaker 3: would be 51 Democrats to 47 Republicans. And yeah, you
- 1:46Speaker 3: can get in on the action. There's also been some
- 1:49Speaker 3: pretty interesting changes in different races right now. For example,
- 1:53Speaker 3: Ohio is leaning now to the Democrats, Kansas to the Republicans,
- 1:56Speaker 3: New Hampshire, the Democrats, Florida to the Republicans and Alaska
- 2:00Speaker 3: now leaning back to the Democratic Party. That is part
- 2:04Speaker 3: of why I love looking at Kalshi. Now, one of
- 2:07Speaker 3: the biggest races in the country is the Ken Paxton
- 2:11Speaker 3: against Tallarico. Right now, Paxton is currently trading at 50%,
- 2:14Speaker 3: meaning a $ 100 trade would pay out $ 93 if he
- 2:16Speaker 3: beats Tallarico. Now on CalSheet, you're trading against peers in
- 2:24Speaker 3: a live market, meaning there's no house. And as the
- 2:28Speaker 3: probability changes, you can buy in and out of your position,
- 2:32Speaker 3: which is amazing. Download the CalSheet app and use code
- 2:36Speaker 3: BEN to get $ 20 when you trade $ 20. That's CalSheet, K-A-L-S-H-I, CalSheet,
- 2:44Speaker 3: trade on anything.
- 2:45Speaker 4: 18 plus only. Restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Event contract
- 2:49Speaker 4: trading involves risk and may not be suitable for all investors.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Koushi products are not available in all jurisdictions. Prices, values,
- 2:55Speaker 4: and available markets may differ from those mentioned. For more information,
- 2:58Speaker 4: see koushi.com slash regulatory.
- 3:00Speaker 3: It's the 47 Morning Update, and it starts right now.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 3:05Speaker 3: If you want to know what's going to happen if
- 3:08Speaker 3: the Democrats get control of Congress... In the midterms, well,
- 3:14Speaker 3: they're now telling you exactly what their game plan is.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Not only is it to investigate and impeach Donald Trump
- 3:22Speaker 3: for a third time, but now we're learning what else
- 3:26Speaker 3: they want to do, which is going a step further.
- 3:30Speaker 3: On MSNOW, there's a show called On the Line. Representative Stansbury,
- 3:36Speaker 3: a Democrat from New Mexico, said that if Democrats win
- 3:40Speaker 3: the majority, In the midterm elections, they will investigate and
- 3:44Speaker 3: possibly impeach President Donald Trump's cabinet secretaries. The host, Alicia Mendez,
- 3:51Speaker 3: said there's always been this strategic conversation about whether or
- 3:56Speaker 3: not another Trump impeachment makes sense or whether or not
- 3:59Speaker 3: it actually makes more sense to go after members of
- 4:01Speaker 3: his cabinet. Representative Massey has now weighed in on what
- 4:06Speaker 3: he thinks the best course of action is. And then
- 4:09Speaker 3: she says, take a listen. Now, what are they referencing? Well,
- 4:12Speaker 3: on Wednesday, Thomas Massey, who's a rhino crazy Republican who's
- 4:17Speaker 3: gone soon, said, I think impeaching cabinet members is highly underrated.
- 4:20Speaker 3: A lot of these cabinet secretaries are going to get
- 4:23Speaker 3: pardons at the end of their tenure. Mendez said, do
- 4:26Speaker 3: you agree with the last thing he said about the
- 4:30Speaker 3: possibility of the president giving pardons? That is when Stansbury said, quote,
- 4:35Speaker 3: oh yeah, I mean, Donald Trump himself said, has said
- 4:40Speaker 3: multiple times that he is planning to give pardons to
- 4:42Speaker 3: everyone in the circle, but I actually very much disagree
- 4:45Speaker 3: with the idea that we shouldn't be trying to use
- 4:47Speaker 3: every tool we have in the toolbox. In particular, we
- 4:50Speaker 3: have cabinet secretaries like Pete Hedgeseth, who Republicans think should
- 4:54Speaker 3: be impeached at this point because of his illegal killings
- 4:58Speaker 3: in the illegal war. That's obviously referring to the war
- 5:02Speaker 3: with Iran.
- 5:02Speaker 1: And.
- 5:05Speaker 3: What we've seen over the last year, she went on
- 5:07Speaker 3: to say, is that when Congress did file impeachments, folks
- 5:10Speaker 3: like Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi were actually fired by
- 5:13Speaker 3: the president because the American people were clear that they
- 5:16Speaker 3: didn't want them in those jobs of trust. So I
- 5:19Speaker 3: think there's a number of cabinet secretaries that have blatantly
- 5:22Speaker 3: broken the law, done unconstitutional things, and I think they
- 5:26Speaker 3: better get ready because we'll come for them. Now, you
- 5:30Speaker 3: look at those comments, and this is what weaponization of
- 5:34Speaker 3: government looks like. We shouldn't, by the way, be surprised
- 5:37Speaker 3: that this is what Democrats are now saying they want
- 5:39Speaker 3: to do. And the reason why I say that is
- 5:42Speaker 3: because they've been doing this for quite some time, right?
- 5:47Speaker 3: They have been saying that they're going to do this.
- 5:50Speaker 3: They weaponized their government to go after Donald Trump last time.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Why would we expect them to do anything different this time?
- 5:57Speaker 3: What they are saying is we're actually going to go
- 6:00Speaker 3: further than that. and we're going to threaten anyone and
- 6:05Speaker 3: let them know you probably don't want to go actually
- 6:09Speaker 3: work for Donald Trump because if you do, and again,
- 6:12Speaker 3: I'll just play you that one simple line. Here it is.
- 6:15Speaker 5: So I think there's a number of cabinet secretaries that
- 6:18Speaker 5: have blatantly broken the law, done unconstitutional things, and I
- 6:22Speaker 5: think they better get ready because we'll come for them.
- 6:24Speaker 4: Congressman Melanie Stansbury, thank you so much for being with
- 6:26Speaker 4: us today.
- 6:27Speaker 3: By the way, I love how there's no pushback from
- 6:29Speaker 3: MSNBC on that one. Like, hold on a second. That's
- 6:31Speaker 3: breaking news. Let's be clear. What you're saying is you're
- 6:34Speaker 3: going to weaponize the government. And if you guys win,
- 6:36Speaker 3: you're going to go after and do everything that you
- 6:38Speaker 3: can to destroy Donald Trump because in his cabinet so
- 6:43Speaker 3: that no one will take those jobs. Because this is
- 6:45Speaker 3: also not just about firing or impeaching a cabinet secretary.
- 6:49Speaker 3: This is about saying to anyone, if you're thinking about
- 6:53Speaker 3: taking a job in the Trump administration, you better think
- 6:57Speaker 3: twice about before you become a cabinet secretary, because we're
- 7:00Speaker 3: probably going to ruin your life and try to bankrupt you. Uh, and, and,
- 7:04Speaker 3: and that's what we're going to do here. Like that's,
- 7:07Speaker 3: that is how this works. That is the ball game. Um,
- 7:12Speaker 3: this representative stands very, as you just heard, she is
- 7:17Speaker 3: an individual that hates Trump more than a lot.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Okay.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Um, and Mike Johnson, by the way, the speaker of
- 7:23Speaker 3: the house, uh, He also gave a very interesting warning
- 7:27Speaker 3: at the Faith and Freedom Coalition conference when he said
- 7:31Speaker 3: this about what happens if we lose the midterms. He
- 7:33Speaker 3: understands the gravity of what she said. He understands that
- 7:36Speaker 3: Democrats are, in fact, crazy enough to do this. This
- 7:41Speaker 3: is the same Democratic Party, and I hate to say it,
- 7:43Speaker 3: but I have to remind you again, that has tried
- 7:45Speaker 3: to kill this president multiple times. This is the same
- 7:48Speaker 3: Democratic Party and the radicals in their party that tried
- 7:51Speaker 3: to throw Donald Trump in jail. and his family in
- 7:54Speaker 3: jail to stop him. This is the same Democratic party
- 7:57Speaker 3: that used the deep state to try to overthrow the
- 7:58Speaker 3: will of the people and impeach a president, which was
- 8:00Speaker 3: a coup attempt in the United States of America, on
- 8:03Speaker 3: Donald Trump, not once, but twice. So why would they
- 8:06Speaker 3: not then extend that reach to all the cabinet secretaries?
- 8:10Speaker 3: And this is why this warning came from Mike Johnson,
- 8:13Speaker 3: the way he said it. Listen carefully to his words.
- 8:16Speaker 6: But the DSA, the Democrat Socialists of America, sounds so innocuous,
- 8:22Speaker 6: doesn't it?
- 8:23Speaker 3: No, it doesn't.
- 8:23Speaker 6: Don't say that. This is their platform. Listen, this is
- 8:27Speaker 6: actually quotes from their platform that they published, I think,
- 8:29Speaker 6: about a day or two ago. You can find this
- 8:32Speaker 6: on the internet. Okay, here's just a sample of what
- 8:33Speaker 6: they're about. They put this on paper. They're saying the
- 8:36Speaker 6: quiet things out loud. Abolish the electoral college or place
- 8:39Speaker 6: the two-party system with a multi-party democracy. Expand the House
- 8:43Speaker 6: of Representatives. Implement proportional representation and rank choice voting in
- 8:49Speaker 6: all elections. Abolish well, establish public ownership of the largest
- 8:55Speaker 6: corporations and essential industries to ensure democratic control and accountability
- 9:00Speaker 6: to the people. Abolish ICE and grant amnesty for all.
- 9:07Speaker 6: End sanctions on Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran. Free Palestine, quote,
- 9:13Speaker 6: for a free Palestine with Jerusalem.
- 9:15Speaker 3: As its capital.
- 9:16Speaker 6: End all military and economic aid to Israel. Prosecute U.S.
- 9:20Speaker 6: and Israeli leaders responsible for the genocide in Gaza. Abolish
- 9:24Speaker 6: the carceral state. Quote, redirect police and prison funding to
- 9:30Speaker 6: public services as steps towards abolishing the carceral forces of
- 9:34Speaker 6: the capitalist state. Y'all, it goes on and on and on.
- 9:37Speaker 6: Defund the Department of War. Replace the President and the
- 9:42Speaker 6: Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen and subordinate
- 9:46Speaker 6: to Congress, which they're hoping to take over. And the
- 9:51Speaker 6: last one is abolish the Senate. Now, some of you
- 9:52Speaker 6: may agree with that, but just leave that one there.
- 9:54Speaker 5: Okay.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 9:56Speaker 6: I'm kidding. I love my colleagues over there. there. There's
- 10:02Speaker 6: a new Gallup and NBC poll. Came out about four
- 10:05Speaker 6: days ago. Listen to this. Only 29% of Democrat voters
- 10:10Speaker 6: now say they are proud to be American. Over half
- 10:13Speaker 6: now say they want to live in another country.
- 10:23Speaker 5: Go, go, go.
- 10:26Speaker 6: We can't deport that many. So let me tell you,
- 10:31Speaker 6: this is a very sobering, let me see how much
- 10:33Speaker 6: time I have. Oh dear, three minutes. Okay, look, I
- 10:36Speaker 6: am very bullish about the midterms. Let me just tell
- 10:38Speaker 6: you right now, as a leader of this little army
- 10:42Speaker 6: in the house, we are ready for this fight. We're
- 10:44Speaker 6: ready for this fight. We're called for it. My friends,
- 10:47Speaker 6: I have a very boring 90-minute slideshow that I could
- 10:50Speaker 6: go through with you right now. All the reasons we're
- 10:51Speaker 6: going to win We are going to defy history. It
- 10:53Speaker 6: is true, we have to defy history twice in 90
- 10:55Speaker 6: years as a sitting president picked up seats for his
- 10:58Speaker 6: party in that first two-year cycle. But this is a
- 11:00Speaker 6: midterm unlike any other, not only because of the threats
- 11:03Speaker 6: that we face that are very real and must be confronted,
- 11:06Speaker 6: but it's because of a lot of reasons on paper
- 11:09Speaker 6: why we should win. We have a great record to
- 11:11Speaker 6: run on. You just heard our extraordinary Treasury Secretary recount
- 11:13Speaker 6: some of the big wins that we've done. I could
- 11:15Speaker 6: do this with you all day, talking about the 700
- 11:17Speaker 6: bills we passed through the House, the 100 executive orders
- 11:19Speaker 6: we've codified, and all the great things we've done for
- 11:21Speaker 6: hardworking American families, and pro-family policies, and pro-life policies, and
- 11:26Speaker 6: we're fulfilling our promises. We have better candidates than the
- 11:30Speaker 6: Democrats do. They are on the verge of an open
- 11:33Speaker 6: civil war because the establishment Democrats are being pushed out
- 11:36Speaker 6: by the Marxists. They're having a lot of disarray on
- 11:38Speaker 6: their side, and that will play to our advantage in
- 11:41Speaker 6: the midterms. We have, for the first time in 10 years,
- 11:43Speaker 6: my friends, we have a slight fundraising advantage over the Democrats.
- 11:47Speaker 3: That never happens.
- 11:52Speaker 6: People are so motivated and we have, we have the
- 11:54Speaker 6: president of the United States running like it's 2024. Okay.
- 12:00Speaker 6: He's going to tell you that himself here in a
- 12:01Speaker 6: few minutes, he's going to tell you these, he's out
- 12:03Speaker 6: doing campaigns and rallies. And you get to look right
- 12:05Speaker 6: into the eyes of the camera and say, I am
- 12:07Speaker 6: on the ballot because in a real sense, he is,
- 12:09Speaker 6: if he were to, we were to lose the midterms,
- 12:10Speaker 6: heaven forbid these Democrats. Y'all impeachment is not even the
- 12:14Speaker 6: big concern. They will turn every committee of Congress into
- 12:16Speaker 6: an investigative body. And they'll go after the president's family,
- 12:19Speaker 6: the cabinet, his donors and friends. Half of you in
- 12:21Speaker 6: this room will be targeted.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I love the warning there. And I love how Mike
- 12:25Speaker 3: Johnson says we are ready for this fight. But if
- 12:28Speaker 3: we lose the midterms, as he goes on and says,
- 12:30Speaker 3: heaven forbid, these Democrats, y'all, impeachment, not even the big concerns.
- 12:35Speaker 3: They will turn every committee of Congress into an investigative body.
- 12:40Speaker 3: And they'll go after the president's family and the cabinet.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Mike Johnson is right. And they're now saying it publicly
- 12:47Speaker 3: on TV. They're not even hiding it, folks. They're saying,
- 12:50Speaker 3: vote for us. If you hate Donald Trump, we will
- 12:56Speaker 3: go after him. If you hate Donald Trump and his family,
- 12:59Speaker 3: we will go after him. If you hate his cabinet members,
- 13:04Speaker 3: don't worry. We will go after them. And, most importantly,
- 13:08Speaker 3: we will make it where other people will not want
- 13:12Speaker 3: to serve this president or their country. Now, you may say, well,
- 13:17Speaker 3: hold on a second. There's going to be somebody that does...
- 13:19Speaker 3: There's somebody that would take the job. It may not
- 13:22Speaker 3: be the best one. It may not be the A-lister.
- 13:24Speaker 3: It may not be the one you want to have
- 13:26Speaker 3: the job. It may not be the one you want
- 13:27Speaker 3: to take the job. And the person that really should
- 13:31Speaker 3: get the job may be the one that never gets
- 13:33Speaker 3: the job because they say they can't afford it financially.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Do you know how many people I know that have
- 13:40Speaker 3: called me confidentially? And they're like, man, I got offered
- 13:43Speaker 3: this gig in the administration in this capacity or that capacity,
- 13:45Speaker 3: but I just can't take it. And I'm like, dude,
- 13:49Speaker 3: I understand why. You're afraid about being in court in
- 13:53Speaker 3: financial ruin. There's a reason why they were talking about
- 13:56Speaker 3: pardons earlier that the president's going to have to hand
- 13:58Speaker 3: them out. Why would you not hand that out? Why
- 14:01Speaker 3: would you not hand a pardon out if you could,
- 14:05Speaker 3: knowing that the Democrats are campaigning off of coming after
- 14:08Speaker 3: you and trying to put you in prison just for
- 14:10Speaker 3: serving your country? And that's the other part of this
- 14:12Speaker 3: you have to understand. This is only because you've decided
- 14:15Speaker 3: to serve your country, nothing else. Simply, you're wanting to
- 14:21Speaker 3: serve your country. You should not have to worry about
- 14:24Speaker 3: going to jail or becoming financially bankrupt or being constantly
- 14:31Speaker 3: attacked by a court system or by Congress and having
- 14:35Speaker 3: to pay legal bills that will never end. Because another
- 14:40Speaker 3: political party gains power, even especially if you did nothing wrong.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Right.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Like this is this is what you refer to as
- 14:46Speaker 3: political harassment, because that's what this is. This is this
- 14:50Speaker 3: is political harassment. This is what Marxists and socialists and
- 14:54Speaker 3: communists do. And by the way, the Democratic Socialist America,
- 14:56Speaker 3: they are communists or Marxists. That's what they are. And
- 14:59Speaker 3: so they are going to weaponize the government. Not because
- 15:02Speaker 3: I'm telling you they're going to do it, but it's
- 15:05Speaker 3: because that is what they are saying. They have said
- 15:08Speaker 3: they are going to weaponize the government. I will go
- 15:11Speaker 3: back to this Congresswoman. She's telling you I'm weaponizing the government.
- 15:16Speaker 5: So I think there's a number of cabinet secretaries that
- 15:18Speaker 5: have blatantly broken the law, done unconstitutional things, and I
- 15:22Speaker 5: think they better get ready because we'll come for them.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Congressman Melanie Stansbury, thank you so much.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Thank you so much. Thank you for doing this. Thank
- 15:29Speaker 3: you for weaponizing our government. That's what MSNOW basically is saying.
- 15:32Speaker 3: No follow-up. Yep.
- 15:34Speaker 6: Yep.
- 15:34Speaker 3: There it is, America. You hate Donald Trump. You want
- 15:36Speaker 3: to see people suffer. You want to You want to
- 15:39Speaker 3: go back to lawfare. You want to destroy the president
- 15:41Speaker 3: of the United States of America and his family and
- 15:43Speaker 3: the cabinet and anybody that serves around him. By the way,
- 15:46Speaker 3: there's also a very good chance that this president may
- 15:48Speaker 3: have to give out more pardons than we've ever seen
- 15:50Speaker 3: before by any president in history preemptively because of the
- 15:54Speaker 3: lawfare that is coming from this president of the United
- 15:56Speaker 3: States of America. Or I should say for this president.
- 15:59Speaker 3: They're coming for this president of the United States of America,
- 16:01Speaker 3: Donald Trump. There is a very good chance. And I
- 16:04Speaker 3: hate this idea of like having to give out preemptive pardons.
- 16:06Speaker 3: I think it's insane. But now I get it. Now
- 16:10Speaker 3: I understand it. And it's not because of some grand,
- 16:13Speaker 3: great paranoia. It's because what the Democrats have said, vote
- 16:18Speaker 3: for me, I will weaponize the government. I will go
- 16:23Speaker 3: after and destroy people's lives and I will lock them up.
- 16:27Speaker 3: That is why it's being said.
