- 0:06Speaker 1: We have a top ten new token out there, and
- 0:08Speaker 1: of course this is one that you guys have probably
- 0:10Speaker 1: quite a bit aware of, and that is Tron and
- 0:12Speaker 1: it's moved over. Cardinal will be breaking this down for
- 0:15Speaker 1: you today. You don't want to miss it. My name
- 0:16Speaker 1: is Paul Barren, Welcome back in the tech path. I
- 0:18Speaker 1: do want to thank our sponsor today and that is
- 0:20Speaker 1: tangentm This is one of.
- 0:21Speaker 2: The best self custody wallets out there. You guys can choose.

- 0:27Speaker 1: three card set.
- 0:29Speaker 2: You can go in and build that.
- 0:30Speaker 1: And of course, if you are a Tron user and
- 0:32Speaker 1: you follow them over on x they now have the
- 0:34Speaker 1: Tron wallets available for sales, so check it out.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Use our link down below. It's going to give you
- 0:40Speaker 2: a little bit of a discount.
- 0:41Speaker 1: All right, Let's go over to a couple of points
- 0:43Speaker 1: I want to hit on. One, of course, is just
- 0:45Speaker 1: going into coin market cap as Dominance holds at fifty
- 0:49Speaker 1: five point seven on Bitcoin. But the interesting thing is
- 0:53Speaker 1: right here in the number ten slot, and that is
- 0:56Speaker 1: Tron now flipping Cardono. One thing that is happening is
- 1:01Speaker 1: the SEC seems to be on pause here, so the
- 1:04Speaker 1: judges rejected the SEC's move to go against Tron in
- 1:08Speaker 1: the Tron case. So this may be a good thing,
- 1:09Speaker 1: but I feel because of the scenario and how Tron
- 1:13Speaker 1: is connected more so to Tether than anything, that this
- 1:16Speaker 1: is pretty much a nothing burger. So I don't even
- 1:18Speaker 1: know if this is going to affect what the markets
- 1:20Speaker 1: are going to end up doing. A couple other points
- 1:22Speaker 1: that I want to hit on right here is that
- 1:25Speaker 1: one billion in tether has been minted on Tron. When
- 1:28Speaker 1: you look at tether on Tron, completely different scenario, much
- 1:32Speaker 1: more fast, speedy, and of course free, low cost.
- 1:36Speaker 2: And very dependable. So that's a big advantage.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I think going forward, other things that are happening within
- 1:40Speaker 1: the Tron ecosystem are building around the availability, especially on
- 1:45Speaker 1: some of the big retail centers. Now you guys have
- 1:47Speaker 1: probably heard us talk about a company by.
- 1:49Speaker 2: The name of Grab.
- 1:50Speaker 1: They are one of, well, I would say, the leading
- 1:54Speaker 1: company in Asia in terms of food delivery. And this
- 1:58Speaker 1: goes back all the way back into twenty eight eighteen
- 2:00Speaker 1: where they officially took control of Uber's Southeast Asian operations.
- 2:04Speaker 1: And I want to go to a clip real quick
- 2:06Speaker 1: and give you guys kind of an insight.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Let's go to this.
- 2:08Speaker 3: There is a huge demand for it around like twenty
- 2:12Speaker 3: beating US dollar of transaction right now. Recently we have
- 2:16Speaker 3: seen like grab start to adopt its stable pint on
- 2:20Speaker 3: troyntwork to facilitate their payment. Grap is like Uber in Asia, right, yeah,
- 2:28Speaker 3: it has like Uber eas you know, you can use
- 2:31Speaker 3: it to purchase e commerce. I believe will see US
- 2:37Speaker 3: city and also get in Uber and the uber is eventually,
- 2:41Speaker 3: I believe, and I believe probably in the few months,
- 2:47Speaker 3: we're gonna see like TikTok Lasada like older major players
- 2:53Speaker 3: in Southeast Asia will integrate into troy Network. That's like
- 2:58Speaker 3: something they have to right. You call stairs the traffic,
- 3:02Speaker 3: there's the demil the customer, and IB eventually is going
- 3:06Speaker 3: to expand to us as well.
- 3:09Speaker 1: So if he is truthful and we are and he
- 3:12Speaker 1: does believe that's going to happen, this could be a
- 3:15Speaker 1: huge opportunity for tron if you look at their current
- 3:18Speaker 1: market cap and where this could go. Setting right now
- 3:23Speaker 1: at number ten, right around thirteen, let me kind of
- 3:26Speaker 1: run in on that third right around thirteen billion. If
- 3:28Speaker 1: you look at what the potential is here, you could
- 3:31Speaker 1: literally see this maybe up in that number seven slot
- 3:33Speaker 1: starting to go head to head with XRP at around
- 3:36Speaker 1: thirty three billion in terms of market caps. So a
- 3:39Speaker 1: lot of things happening around all of this, and of
- 3:41Speaker 1: course I think that's why we've already started to see
- 3:43Speaker 1: this move into top ten token all right, So one
- 3:45Speaker 1: of the reasons that cardonald could have moved out of
- 3:47Speaker 1: the top ten. Many people have been pushing for stable
- 3:50Speaker 1: coin demand, and of course the overview of stable coins
- 3:53Speaker 1: on Cardinal not looking good right now. As you can see,
- 3:57Speaker 1: total transactions in comparisons account owders not a lot. Here's
- 4:02Speaker 1: another area that is kind of interesting. Tron right there
- 4:05Speaker 1: leading the way address is sending eight point sixty five
- 4:08Speaker 1: million quite a bit there. So if you look at Cardono,
- 4:14Speaker 1: I'll highlight this area right here about foreigner stablecoin transactions
- 4:17Speaker 1: per day quite low compared to the three hundred thousand
- 4:20Speaker 1: daily transactions on Tron and Ethereum with fifty five thousand,
- 4:24Speaker 1: so Theoreeum is about one hundred and forty times better
- 4:28Speaker 1: when you look at it in comparison. So this is
- 4:30Speaker 1: another problem that has been out there for quite some time.
- 4:33Speaker 1: It's one that I think the Cardinal community has been
- 4:36Speaker 1: you know, kind of showcasing for quite some time, and
- 4:38Speaker 1: it's a problem that eventually, hopefully they're going to address.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Cardono did have an event here recently. One of the events,
- 4:46Speaker 1: RFK was there. There was a handful of you know people,
- 4:49Speaker 1: but there was a lot of other projects that were there.
- 4:51Speaker 1: If you look at just the amount of companies that
- 4:54Speaker 1: were involved in this, this was a lot of different
- 4:57Speaker 1: integrations of companies out there. Many of course you'll wret
- 5:00Speaker 1: recognized there, including gaming companies.
- 5:02Speaker 2: There's waged Me. We've talked about those guys before.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Wag Me of course one best gaming project, not necessarily
- 5:09Speaker 1: well not on Cardono. The other thing that won this
- 5:12Speaker 1: is kind of crazy.
- 5:13Speaker 2: If you know.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Anything about Cardono and Neo Tokyo's community, then you probably
- 5:19Speaker 1: find this tongue in cheek. But Neo Tokyo came away
- 5:23Speaker 1: with the best Community award at rare Evo, which.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Was kind of interesting to see and watch.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I want to go to a clip real quick because
- 5:30Speaker 1: this will get into some of the details around the
- 5:33Speaker 1: event itself and what Charles was talking about.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Charles Hoskinson pretty much the world leader of Cardono.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Take a look, so what did we do?
- 5:43Speaker 5: We built Cardono, That's what we did. If you doubt me, bankless,
- 5:50Speaker 5: who's not here. Look at all the booths, look at
- 5:53Speaker 5: all the people. Does this feel like a ghost chain
- 5:55Speaker 5: to any of you? Hell no, they're scared to this ghost.
- 6:01Speaker 5: It's a pretty real ghost. There were competing events NFTXLV
- 6:06Speaker 5: and rare Evo. You got to negotiate. We got to
- 6:09Speaker 5: get these events to merge, and it was tough. You know,
- 6:11Speaker 5: both sides had some grievances, but for the good of
- 6:13Speaker 5: the ecosystem, didn't make sense to have two events right
- 6:17Speaker 5: around the same time in Vegas, not that big yet,
- 6:20Speaker 5: and they worked something out.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I don't know if you would say that's an exciting
- 6:24Speaker 1: presentation there by Charles, but hey, the cool thing is
- 6:27Speaker 1: that they had the event. There were people there in
- 6:30Speaker 1: combination with rare Evo, so the boosts are back there
- 6:33Speaker 1: in the back, most of which were not necessarily on
- 6:36Speaker 1: Cardono in terms of associated with cardonos. So I would
- 6:40Speaker 1: say it's a slight win for Cardino in general. But
- 6:43Speaker 1: the reality, I think the key here is that there's
- 6:47Speaker 1: going to need to be a lot more adoption. I
- 6:48Speaker 1: think stable coin is gonna be one of the big
- 6:50Speaker 1: deals that holds them back to really continue to fly.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Getting knocked out of the top ten, that's another thing
- 6:55Speaker 1: I think that just is not good for the chain.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Other things I want to hit on is what Charles
- 7:01Speaker 1: Hoskinson revealed about the Hydra project.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Take a look, there's one point five billion eight US
- 7:07Speaker 5: sitting in a treasury ready to go. How many people
- 7:10Speaker 5: keep saying we need marketing, we need branding. Yeah, I
- 7:14Speaker 5: completely agree, because it's about time we get some credit
- 7:17Speaker 5: for the crap we've done, especially when Vitalic copies us.
- 7:21Speaker 5: We're talking about how do we showcase Hydra because Hydra
- 7:24Speaker 5: is amazing technology. We're so excited about Hydra. We designed
- 7:27Speaker 5: Extended UTXO specifically for Hydra. We said, well, we need
- 7:31Speaker 5: something that everybody understands instantly, everybody's touched, everybody's done. That
- 7:37Speaker 5: would put Hydra in a position where people realize how
- 7:40Speaker 5: powerful the technology is.
- 7:42Speaker 4: What about putting doom on Hydra?
- 7:43Speaker 5: And I said, it sounds like I'm giving you hundreds
- 7:45Speaker 5: of thousands of dollars and you're going to make that happen.
- 7:47Speaker 4: Doom and Hydra, Charles killing it. How many tps could
- 7:52Speaker 4: you do? We have all the tps now, Twitter, I
- 8:00Speaker 4: got something for you, little math.
- 8:03Speaker 5: Thirty five frames per second, thirty five transactions per se,
- 8:06Speaker 5: and that's about a million tps.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Yeah, we fucking did it. That's going on the lead
- 8:10Speaker 4: of art.
- 8:11Speaker 5: Pretty amazing, Hydro, pretty amazing.
- 8:14Speaker 4: Where we're at. Don't fuck with cardono.
- 8:17Speaker 2: I guess you could do it that way.
- 8:18Speaker 1: That's one angle in which you could increase in pad transactions.
- 8:23Speaker 1: Here was another upgrade that he talked about there at
- 8:26Speaker 1: the event. This one was where he was talking a
- 8:29Speaker 1: little bit more about a wallet upgrade.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 8:32Speaker 5: We started as an idea on a whiteboard with nobody,
- 8:37Speaker 5: no papers, no code. We're here today.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Now.
- 8:41Speaker 5: You get three people together talking about something, you get
- 8:45Speaker 5: a paper. You get a million people together talking about something,
- 8:48Speaker 5: You go to the moon. So I have another announcement,
- 8:51Speaker 5: I said, we have a few announcements. You know, for
- 8:53Speaker 5: years and years and years I was talking about merging
- 8:55Speaker 5: old things and new things together. So this right here
- 8:59Speaker 5: is a paper wallet, and this is coming to lace.
- 9:04Speaker 5: You print it out, you put it in your safe,
- 9:06Speaker 5: or leave it on the coffee table doesn't particularly matter
- 9:08Speaker 5: because people can't break this.
- 9:10Speaker 4: That's usability.
- 9:11Speaker 5: These are the things we're thinking about.
- 9:15Speaker 2: I don't know what to say to that. It's a
- 9:18Speaker 2: paper wallet, that's the reveal. What the fuck is this
- 9:22Speaker 2: a joke?
- 9:23Speaker 1: I don't even know what the you say to this.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You guys got to prep me for things that are
- 9:28Speaker 1: this cringe that is not mainstream adoption. Definitely not a
- 9:31Speaker 1: scenario that's going to get people excited about this, And
- 9:34Speaker 1: I think this is the challenge that Cardinal continues to face.
- 9:38Speaker 1: If you look at what's happening over here within just Tron,
- 9:40Speaker 1: which is why you're seeing a flip here, and most
- 9:42Speaker 1: likely you're going to see some movement here on TRONT,
- 9:45Speaker 1: you've got to keep your base engaged. And I think
- 9:47Speaker 1: that's the challenge that Cardinal continues to have. And we
- 9:50Speaker 1: talked about this last year at their event, which was
- 9:53Speaker 1: not a great event last year, And of course the
- 9:54Speaker 1: merger this year for Cardono and rare Evo I thought
- 9:58Speaker 1: was interesting, but again not enough to really bring it
- 10:02Speaker 1: all together. I think both events needed it to pull
- 10:05Speaker 1: it off. So anyway, we're going to continue to track
- 10:08Speaker 1: this down. If you look at the current price of
- 10:09Speaker 1: Cardono holding on the seventeenth right there is when the
- 10:13Speaker 1: event happened.
- 10:14Speaker 2: This is on the daily.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Charge, so not really any movement right now. Cardono has
- 10:19Speaker 1: been on a declining wedge for quite some time. This
- 10:22Speaker 1: is some of the things that we are seeing. I
- 10:24Speaker 1: think innovation is still not happening at Cardona. Needs to happen,
- 10:28Speaker 1: and of course Charles knows this, I think he does. Anyway,
- 10:31Speaker 1: we'll see all right. If you guys are not following
- 10:35Speaker 1: me on X, make sure and do that. It's just
- 10:37Speaker 1: at Paul Baron. We'll catch you next time right here
- 10:39Speaker 1: on tech Path.
