- 0:10Welcome to reality TV Cringe. I am one of your hosts, fat Cat,
- 0:15and I am here with the beautiful and the illustrious and the very sexy
- 0:20Razorblade. We are d mpy, and we are here to jump into the
- 0:28Sister Wives dumpster. Honey. Yes, we've got some things to talk about.
- 0:34Of course. The episode aired on Sunday. I've watched it one hundred
- 0:40times. I've watched reactions of it. Oh my god, you're committed.
- 0:44I've done it forensic examination. God, I think about it, though,
- 0:50I said, it was so many conversations, I know, and there were
- 0:54a lot of cool things that were said. Yeah, I mean it was
- 0:57just like, Okay, nobody went anywhere, nobody anything. Cody did take
- 1:00those mini bikes out for a spin on Coyote Passion, but like, nothing
- 1:04really happened other than conversations where people continued to lie somewhat and then other people
- 1:11started to tell the truth a little bit. And we as raccoons in a
- 1:17dumpster, we love the trash. Yes, we want all of the trash,
- 1:19all of the truth, all of the information. So thank you very
- 1:23much. Ingle. Now, before we get into today's episode, we have
- 1:26to remind you this is the dumpster for a reason. We make trouble over
- 1:30here. We're just sifting through the trash, trying to spin it into gold.

- 2:28love to have you. All right, let's get into Sister Wives Season eighteen,
- 2:34episode seven entitled Throwing in the Towel and Thank God, Thank Jesus on
- 2:40colob in his Mormon celestial universe that Mary Brown looks like she's gonna be throwing
- 2:46in the towel. Please finally, come on now, it's like the Judge
- 2:51Judy mean, that's like the TikTok Finally. Oh my god, we've been
- 2:54waiting eighteen freaking seasons three to do this. Mary. You should have way
- 3:00back when. Well, the thing is is that her identity, her total
- 3:05identity, is wrapped up in this polygamist family. Unfortunate when you think about
- 3:12it. She was indoctrinated from a very young age. She was nineteen years
- 3:16old when she married Cody Brown. She thought she wanted to be a polygamist,
- 3:21and then he started on boarding new wives and she found herself getting jealous,
- 3:23but like she was still trying to do what she thought she had to
- 3:28do. She was the one who brought in Robin. Ye. But in
- 3:30that first season when she brings in Robin, she also wanted to fucking leave
- 3:32Gody. I know she's never been happy, and she's always been dutiful,
- 3:38except for the catfishing part. Yeah, it's because he wasn't lick in her
- 3:42box. Well, yeah, he's been neglecting her. By then, in
- 3:46Vegas. He wasn't taking care of the relationship. He didn't want anything to
- 3:50do with her, And so, yeah, she fell victim to the catfish.
- 3:54But I have a lot of compassion for Mary me too, and so
- 3:58in these scenes, in these conversations, I really feel for her, and
- 4:01I also think that she's in the era of starting to drop some truth bombs,
- 4:06of worthying up, of worthying up and talking on the couch and dropping
- 4:12some peppering sprinkling and little nuggets of information like Robin never called me during the
- 4:18pandemic, bitch, that was bit years. I was alone in this very
- 4:24sterile, very clean Flagstaff home McMansion. Nobody visited me. Robin, who's
- 4:29supposed to be feeling steady around me, my best friend, never texted,
- 4:33never called, like, oh okay, thank you. I thought so.
- 4:36Yeah, we thought so, we knew it, but now we know so
- 4:40yeah. So what are some of your major takeaways from this episode, just
- 4:43off the top of your head. Well, initially, when I watched this
- 4:46episode, you know, for the first time, I watched this three times
- 4:48today. Initially, I was trying to see if maybe there was some truth
- 4:55to what Robin was spouting, Like maybe she was actually confused. Maybe she
- 4:59is a dumb bitch and she has come believed Cody's lies this whole entire time.
- 5:03But then, you know, as I keep going on and these these
- 5:08watchings, I'm just like, Okay, Robin's a narc, Cody's a narc.
- 5:13Mary is sad and pathetic, and I just want the best for her,
- 5:16Like I mean that, Like it's pathetic to watch her pine over not
- 5:20only a Cody, but Robin's friendship. When Robin hates her, Robin does
- 5:26not like her. It's just so obvious. And then Janelle kind of coming
- 5:30out of her shell a little bit, kind of questioning her faith, questioning
- 5:35her marriage a little bit, not necessarily her faith, but like you know,
- 5:39questioning the tenet of her faith of like do I need to stay married
- 5:42to this douche nozzle this entire time? Or can I just bounce? Right?
- 5:46Can I pick something new for myself? Is it a new season that
- 5:49I'm entering into? Can I do that? Yeah? So those are my
- 5:51Matre takeaways. What about Yeah, Well, I really love that we're seeing
- 5:56the partnership of Janelle and Christine. Yeah, I really love they're committed to
- 6:00being sister wives together. I think it makes all the difference in the world
- 6:03when you are leaving someone or divorcing, which I've done a million times,
- 6:08if you know you have a support system, or if you've got someone there
- 6:11who's going to help you get settled, or who's just not going to judge
- 6:14you from making the decisions that you're making. So I think that's really,
- 6:16really beautiful. I also thought that Robin in the conversation with Mary, came
- 6:25off so cold, so stiff, so awkward, like socially awkward, like
- 6:32she didn't know how to act like a human being friend in that conversation,
- 6:38like she was trying to approximate what a friend might do, but she has
- 6:42no idea. And that's either because she genuinely doesn't give a fuck about Mary,
- 6:46or she's a robot, or she's just trying to figure out how to
- 6:49lie in the moment because she doesn't have a script for this conversation that she
- 6:55has with Mary. Well, that's what I wanted to ask you. Do
- 6:57you think that they actually talked about this conversation before they filmed it, because
- 7:00it seems to me that the Browns have always kind of orchestrated and produced their
- 7:06different scenes and segments. So do you think that Robin walked into this conversation
- 7:12with Mary knowing what it was going to be about. I don't know.
- 7:15It didn't seem like that to me when I've watched it, Like, but
- 7:18it seemed weird, Like it seems like Robin came in there with things that
- 7:24she was going to say already, or like answers to some of the questions.
- 7:28But Robin, when she sits down with Mary, already knows that it's
- 7:30going to be bad news, right because she says the way that Mary is
- 7:34acting, let's talk about that for a moment. Like the way that Mary
- 7:38is acting, she was nervous, she was breathing like rapidly, heavily.
- 7:44But I felt personally like that was a fear response totally, like she was
- 7:49almost afraid of the conversation or afraid of Robin. And my first feeling about
- 7:57that was, Oh, how the mighty have fallen? Because Mary was the
- 8:01first wife, Mary was the legal wife, Mary have the position and the
- 8:05power historically in the home up until I didn't know twenty fifteen or whatever it
- 8:09was, when she divorced Cody for Robin. How that must feel to feel
- 8:15disempowered, sitting next to the fourth wife who stole your man, wrecked your
- 8:20whole family structure, and now you've got to tell her that you're going to
- 8:22do something that she's not going to like. And I think Mary inherently questions
- 8:28whether Robin actually likes her, Like, does Robin really like me though she
- 8:33doesn't she doesn't, does Robin actually love me and really want me to be
- 8:39here? I think Mary has been asking herself these questions because, of course,
- 8:43and again, Robin didn't call her during the lockdown, right, Cody
- 8:46wasn't going to call her, Robin didn't visit. How easy would that have
- 8:50been to just drop by, drop some food by, right, send a
- 8:54text once a week or whatever. So Mary's coming into the consciousness that this
- 9:00has all been a bunch of bullshit. But she's also a little bit afraid
- 9:03of Robin, because Robin has the power, Robin has the access to Quody,
- 9:07Robin has the access to her own children, which I think Mary now
- 9:11has a relationship with. And so she feels that she has a lot to
- 9:15lose. And I'm like, let it go, let it go, let
- 9:18it drop away from baby. Not that much to lose, to be honest.
- 9:22I'm just like you, are afraid of losing a friendship with such a
- 9:26shitty person who like literally does not care about you, doesn't reach out,
- 9:31doesn't talk to you, pretends like you're her best friend, says that she
- 9:35feels steady and safe with you, but doesn't care about your happiness and doesn't
- 9:43advocate for you to leave, like she wants you to stay because of her
- 9:48own selfish reasons and because she feels safe with you, or I guess feel
- 9:54safe with her money. But she feels very safe with all of your money.
- 9:58But she doesn't advocate for Mary to just find something better. But I
- 10:05don't know. We'll get to it later in the bit. You came over
- 10:07to my house and you were like upset and you were going to make a
- 10:11new choice for your life. If you were going to leave somebody because the
- 10:13relationship wasn't working out for you, if you were scared about life, I
- 10:18would give you a hug. I'd be like, bitch, let's get some
- 10:20wine, let's get some food, let's get a taco, let's sit down
- 10:22and talk about it. I am here for you, like there would be
- 10:26an innate warmth between us because we're actual friends, and I care about you.
- 10:31You see none of that with Robin. You don't see it with Mary
- 10:35either, although I feel like if Robin had given her a little bit of
- 10:39warmth that Mary would have kind of warmed up to her as well. I
- 10:43think Mary probably wishes that Robin would, but Robin gives her absolutely nothing,
- 10:48just stone faced girl. I just don't get like what Mary is holding on
- 10:54too with Robin, because it doesn't seem to me like they've had a really
- 10:58good, genuine relationship this entire time. Like I know in the earlier seasons,
- 11:01Mary says that she's never had a relationship with another sister wife like she's
- 11:05had with Robin. Like she always throws that in the other wives's face,
- 11:11and I don't see it. I don't get it, Like what does Robin
- 11:15bring to the table for Mary? Or what did Robin bring to the table.
- 11:18She wanted to be her Sarah get but that was always just Robin sidling
- 11:22up to the bitch in power. She wanted to align herself with the woman
- 11:26who had the most power so that she could be safe in the family to
- 11:30grift and to bring her bills and ask where do I put these? Do
- 11:33I put them on the counter. I never have to get a job.
- 11:35I am safe if I'm aligned with Mary. And Mary probably had the expectation
- 11:39when the roles reversed and Robin became the legal wife, that she'd be safe
- 11:45with her. But what did Robin do cast her aside? Just like COVID
- 11:50cast her aside. Oh. It is such a sad and terrible thing,
- 11:54totally, And I feel for Mary. I feel for Janelle and Christine as
- 11:58well, because I come out of like a deeply indoctrinated religious experience like I
- 12:07was in Deep, Honey, I was in super deep, and when you
- 12:11leave the structure of that, it is incredibly frightening, like you're leaving everything
- 12:16you know, right, And I left when I was in my mid twenties,
- 12:18mid twenties, So imagine Mary being in her fifties. She's been living
- 12:22this her whole life. She's been believing it, she's been trying to be
- 12:26faithful, she's been putting up with a dead bedroom and a dead marriage all
- 12:31for her faith and hoping Cody would come back around. I can't even imagine
- 12:35how it would be to be in my fifties and having to walk away from
- 12:39my whole identity, and this is why I want Mary to live her best
- 12:43life. I want Mary to get herself out there. I find her a
- 12:46man or a woman saying with Janelle, like, let this go and be
- 12:50happy, which Robin doesn't want you to do, because she wants to dangle
- 12:54that rope and dangle that carrot and keep you hanging on baby. Well,
- 12:58but Robin cried later in the episode and said, I'm just tour it and
- 13:01I just feel like I want to tell Mary she should be happy and go
- 13:05off and live her life, but I also want her to be here with
- 13:09me. Yeah, she wants that for her. I kind of believed her
- 13:15there really. Yeah. I feel like she's definitely a goblin and she's definitely
- 13:22got her ulterior motives. She's not a good person generally speaking. But I
- 13:26think she can feel that Mary needs permission to go and be happy and to
- 13:31have a different life. I think she can feel that and she wants to
- 13:35give it, but she doesn't. In the moment when they're sitting there,
- 13:37she doesn't do it. She reels, She tries to reel her back in
- 13:41when Mary is saying point blank, come on, now, this man don't
- 13:45want me. This man's pretending to lament his whole family, but he's not
- 13:50doing any of the work. I don't believe any of it. He has
- 13:52nothing for me. And in that moment, if Robin was a friend,
- 13:56she'd be like, I see that, I understand that, and what can
- 14:00I do to help you to be happy to get what you need? And
- 14:03instead Robin just says no. But he says he talks about you all the
- 14:07time, and he says he envisions us all on Coyote Pass and he wants
- 14:11you there, right And that's why that's the cruelty. So because even though
- 14:16she might have the inclination to toss Mary a bone and to help her out,
- 14:20she is going to defer to her prime directive, which is money and
- 14:26security, and Mary can give some of that, and also the ally ship
- 14:31to not appear to be alone or to appear to have failed. Because I
- 14:33think honor and embarrassment and shame plays a lot on the psyche of Cody and
- 14:41Robin, and for all of his wives to leave is deeply embarrassing for him,
- 14:46and it has spiritual implications. I think it affects the kind of planet
- 14:50he gets. Honestly, I don't think you get a planet unless you have
- 14:52three wives ethel out there or any Mormon or LDS or FLDS that knows about
- 14:58this. But I think it hinges on the number of wives that you have.
- 15:03And I also think it is a disgrace if your wives leave you or
- 15:05if you get divorced, And so I think they're shame involved in it.
- 15:09And I think Robin is embarrassed that this whole thing is falling apart and she's
- 15:15trying, she's fucking tap dancing as fast as she can break dancing to deflect
- 15:20any responsibility away from herself. Well, I mean, it's totally embarrassing and
- 15:24it is totally disappointing, and they should feel shame for how they've acted and
- 15:30how this has all turned out. Because this is a spectacle. This is
- 15:33why this season and last season have the most views and Sister Wives history,
- 15:37and that's why everybody's watching this destruction. It's glorious to watch, it's fabulous,
- 15:43but but it's got to suck to feel for sure. But like,
- 15:46do you think that Cody actually feels that religious shame, Like if he has
- 15:52touted that he's not really a polygamist anymore and that he's questioning his face,
- 15:56Well, you can still be a Mormon and not a polygamist. But when
- 15:58they cut in Christine saying I am not responsible for Cody losing his faith,
- 16:03Yeah, it seems like a non sequitor to me because at no point were
- 16:07they talking about faith. And so I'm wondering if Cody has been saying that
- 16:12he doesn't know if he believes the same thing because of Christine, because of
- 16:15Christine and we just haven't seen it, and she was addressing that, but
- 16:19it wasn't edited in. Yeah, I thought that was weird that they put
- 16:22that in there. I'm like, this has no context to what has been
- 16:26talking about. But whatever. But if we believe the rumors, for example,
- 16:30about Leon and how Cody and Robin have estranged themselves from Leon because they
- 16:36fundamentally disagree with Leon's transition and they are trying to align themselves back with the
- 16:41AUP, then that would indicate obviously that they're still religiously motivated. But like,
- 16:47nothing about the way Cody's behaving is spiritual to me, No, because
- 16:53the essence of any spirituality or religion is love and compassion and forgiveness and kindness.
- 17:00Like, yeah, there's none of that here, not at all,
- 17:03none of it. It's all delusion de Lulu, narcissist and also cruel,
- 17:07Yeah, and also mean and self serving. That's who these people are.
- 17:11Okay, so let's get into it. We've talked about a bunch of it,
- 17:15but let's just kind of cover some of the scenes. So we start
- 17:17with I think Christine meeting up with Janelle at the Slaprava production studio. I
- 17:22guess TLC is renting this ship out for the whole season. Is every conversation
- 17:27going to be at Salsa fucking Brava? I don't know why? Are they
- 17:30too famous now to go to fat Olives? I think actually Salsa Brava is
- 17:36owned by the same restaurateur who owns fat Olives. I was already even read
- 17:40it. Yes, I don't even know what's going on. Wow. But
- 17:42they meet up there and they kind of get right into Janelle's situations. Nell
- 17:48tells Christine like, yeah, I'm done. Yeah, I mean we're separated.
- 17:52I don't want to use the word divorce because, like, I don't
- 17:53know how I feel about that spiritually. I don't know about the implications for
- 17:57me, whether I get to go to a planet or not. Because I
- 18:00think she's actually worried and Mary is too, that they're going to be disenfranchised
- 18:03in the world of spirit upon their death, which is really terrible asteroid and
- 18:07yeah space yeah, and purgatory slash hell with no man to save you in
- 18:14the patriarchal religion, right Jesus. So she gets right into it, and
- 18:18Christine is trying not to smile. Oh, she is those eager for this
- 18:22conversation too. She's like excited, God been waiting for you, Janelle to
- 18:26just leave. Yeah. I think is this when Janelle mentions that she reached
- 18:32out to Nancy, their former therapist. Yeah, she's been talking to Nancy.
- 18:37Oh to be a fly on that wall or zoom call bit to hear
- 18:41that. I'm just wondering what Nancy really thinks about all of these dysfunctional Browns.
- 18:45She's been in numerous therapy sessions. She went with Christine and Cody down
- 18:51to Galveston to try to save their marriage, and all they could do is
- 18:52talk about Robin, right, and so she's she's been there and she's seen
- 18:59behind the curtains. I'm wondering, like what she's telling Janelle, Because Janelle's
- 19:02walking away from that conversation with Clarity, right. But I've been reading on
- 19:07the reddits that people are mad that Janelle's going to see Nancy because I guess
- 19:11a lot of people think Nancy was a bad therapist and like didn't give good
- 19:14advice and wasn't really good to any of the wives during their family counseling sessions
- 19:19or anything like that. So I don't know, but I haven't seen anything.
- 19:22I haven't really seen that either. I think they picked up with the
- 19:26series around Galveston, but I didn't stay with it, so I don't know.
- 19:30But like, there's only so much you can do with a narcissist,
- 19:33and if you've got two narcissists I e. Robin and Cody, yeah,
- 19:37like you can't therapize those people. Is that a word? You cannot administer
- 19:41therapeutics on folks like that because they will not receive it right, and they
- 19:48are not going to change most likely. And so I'm just wondering what Nancy
- 19:52had to say to Janelle. I'm hoping she's like, I've been waiting for
- 19:56this carpet leave this moment. I haven't waiting to hear from one of you
- 19:59for so long. I fully support what you're doing. I think it is
- 20:02the right thing for you to do. Whatever Nancy said, Janelle walked away,
- 20:06and she was clear, I'm done. I don't want it anymore.
- 20:08I mean, I'm glad for that queen. Shit right there, that's right.
- 20:12Then we bop on over to Mary's big fucking house. I'm sorry.
- 20:17I would be scared to live alone in a house that big. Oh right,
- 20:21too much fucking space. I mean it's so open. Yeah, you'd
- 20:25hear things. Oh my god, is it haunted? And she's all alone
- 20:27and nobody's visiting her during COVID. So I'm sad about it. But she
- 20:32has her little doggie. Yeah, I guess or she did all. I
- 20:34think the doggie has some pass. She's so lonely. I'm sad about it.
- 20:38But here comes Robin rolling up in Cody's truck. And do you know
- 20:42what the interesting thing about that is? What last season when Janelle went to
- 20:48get her fifth will, she needed to get a truck, and she wanted
- 20:52to drive Cody's truck. But he said to Janelle, no, you cannot
- 20:56drive my truck because I don't think you can handle it. A little lady,
- 21:00Sorry, little I don't think you can have this big rig over here.
- 21:02Okay, it's only for big dick guys. And so he said no.
- 21:04And then in this scene we have Robin rolling up in one of his
- 21:08trucks. I don't think it's the same truck, but in another truck.
- 21:11I'm just like, oh my god, the favorite Tessa. It's everywhere and
- 21:15every facet of this fucking life. So Robin gets in and they promptly begin
- 21:22to talk about Mary's plans. And here again Mary's super fucking nervous, frightened
- 21:27almost because she's gonna have to kiss the ring of the One True Queen.
- 21:33It's cringe to see she's going to have to disappoint the one True Queen,
- 21:37and she's worried about her reaction, and so she kind of launches right into
- 21:41it. Yeah, and she just straight up says, I've been scared to
- 21:44tell you. And Robin's like, I knew that this was coming, a
- 21:48new bad news was coming. Whatever. But Mary just gets into it and
- 21:52says, I'm moving to Parawan. I'm moving my clothing business, I'm moving
- 21:56all my shit up there. I'm downside down here, but I'm still gonna
- 22:02be here. I'm not leaving the family. I just want to make that
- 22:04clear. I'm not leaving. I'm not abandoning you, Robin. I'm gonna
- 22:10be here, just not as often. In this episode, I started to
- 22:14come around to your way of thinking. Yeah, your way of thinking,
- 22:17which is actually this is the first step for the complete moving away from Cody
- 22:22and Robin. I'm telling you that's why she's so nervous because if it really
- 22:25was okay, I'm going to spend not fifty percent, but seventy five percent
- 22:29of my time there, but it's going to be the same arrangement, essentially,
- 22:32it wouldn't have been that big of a deal. Right. But because
- 22:36Mary knows what she's really doing is leaving the family, she's worried about what
- 22:41Robin is going to think and feel about that. And Robin catches on right
- 22:45away. Robin totally walking into the situation, must be able to perceive how
- 22:49nervous and even afraid Mary is, and instead of comforting her like a friend
- 22:53would, instead of saying, hey, girl, where's the wine. Although
- 22:56they're Mormon, they don't drink. Oh, although I think Mary drinks,
- 23:00by the way, you think so drinking a lot like those box wine things.
- 23:04The yes, I think the Lula row lives she does on Instagram and
- 23:08on Stacebook. A lot of people say she's fucking lit drinking. Yes,
- 23:12so, But if I were Robbin and if I saw how anxious she was,
- 23:18I'd be like, what can I do? Bitch? What's going on?
- 23:19We talked to me? How can I help? But Robin, with
- 23:22her stony ass face and her harsh brows, sits down on that couch and
- 23:27says to the camera with her mouth so crazy, dude, and she frowned
- 23:32so hard. I don't know how you do. That's weird. On the
- 23:36couch, she says, I can tell Mary doesn't have anything good to tell
- 23:38me, And in one statement, she makes it all about herself. Of
- 23:42course, It's not like, what's going on? How can I help you?
- 23:47Look, it's my friend, it's been a while since we've talked,
- 23:48right. Instead, it's like, oh, how does this affect and impact
- 23:52me? Yeah? Of course, Because everything Robin does, everything that's said
- 23:57about Robin, every interact with Robin, she takes everything personally. Everything is
- 24:03all about her and how other people make her feel like. It's never how
- 24:08she comes off. It's always the damsel in distress routine. Yeah, it's
- 24:15enraging. Yeah, it's actually infuriating to watch, you know. And Mary's
- 24:19proceeding to talk about her plans and why she's doing it, and all Robin
- 24:23really seems to worry about whether this is temporary or whether it's permanent, right,
- 24:30And we've got Mary kind of talking about how she doesn't really want to
- 24:34have to do this because she feels like moving away, moving her business away,
- 24:38spending more time away is kind of taking the easy way out. And
- 24:44then she says, which is what Cody has done in specific, this is
- 24:47what Cody has done in our relationship, and in Christine's relationship, and in
- 24:52Janelle's relationship. He has taken the easy way out. And now look at
- 24:56all these marriages. And I wanted to ask you how you think Mary thinks
- 25:02Cody took the easy way out. Mmm, probably by just taking a back
- 25:06seat and like not making any effort with any of the OG wives and their
- 25:11relationships. Like Cody says he makes effort, it's not effort. It's the
- 25:15one time he makes a grand gesture for each of the wives, Like for
- 25:18Christine in Las Vegas, it was spending a month at her house and then
- 25:22that was it. For one month in Vegas. That's all Christine got,
- 25:26just so Robin could keep a journal and then use that to prove that Cody
- 25:30spent time with Christine more than with her. Yeah, exactly. And for
- 25:33Mary, it was probably like the trips that he would take with her to
- 25:37like the big grand gestures once in a blue moon, to show them,
- 25:41Yeah, no, I do love you. You remember that one time seven
- 25:44years ago that we took you to Mexico. It's proof that we have a
- 25:48good, healthy relationship. Wanted to do IVF with you, yea, And
- 25:52Robin would say, I would be your surrogate. That means I love you.
- 25:55It was all manipulation to get Mary where they wanted her to be.
- 25:59But Mary is set and she's been waiting and she's been helping, waiting and
- 26:03hoping and dreaming, waiting for Cody to come around and to see the value
- 26:10that she brings to the relationship, to see the value that she brings to
- 26:12the family. But he hasn't done it, and he never will, and
- 26:17she's coming to the realization of this. And then we hear Robin saying,
- 26:21you know, I could tell that Mary is really upset because it would take
- 26:23a lot for her to make a decision to leave because Mary values her commitments.
- 26:30Yeah, okay, okay, which was just another dig. Another Robin
- 26:36even said that Mary's been so loyal too, like she uses that verbiage just
- 26:41to jab at the other wives because they're disloyal and they don't respect Cody and
- 26:45his authority. Yeah. I was just like, okay, Robin, every
- 26:48single moment you get, you are either directly or passively calling out these other
- 26:55women. Yep, back, it's all sabrava. We have the conversation with
- 26:59Jew and here again she's talking about her faith and on the couch. I
- 27:02thought it was really interesting because she said, you know, it's just not
- 27:06really accepted that you just up and leave your marriage. Like I can't point
- 27:11to abuse, I can't point to outright neglect, and so I just kind
- 27:15of want to move in a different direction and live my own life. And
- 27:18I'm like Janelle, Janelle, Janelle, Honey, I can point to neglect,
- 27:23what about when Cody didn't call Gabe on his birthday? I can point
- 27:27to neglect, what about when Cody didn't show up for eight to nine months
- 27:30during COVID to your house or to Christine's house. What about abuse just three
- 27:34episodes ago, when he's screaming at you on the couch and pointing into the
- 27:37fucking camera and swearing at you, that's abusive. Oh yeah, what are
- 27:41you talking about? There was no abuse? Well, she says outright abuse
- 27:45right, She's very careful with the burbage. So I'm like, do you
- 27:48mean there's some implied abuse? There's some like around the edges neglect. I
- 27:56just like she's saying it a little bit without she's saying the quiet part out
- 28:00loud or not saying the question. I don't she's not saying what I wanted
- 28:03to say. How about that, Beatrice? I wanted to say more?
- 28:06And I also wanted to wake the fuck up. I know, I get
- 28:07it that you don't give a shit. I get it that you're independent,
- 28:11that you prefer that to not be around. But this whole time, your
- 28:14kids have been needing their dad. Also, this whole time, your kids
- 28:17have been watching the example of your marriage to their dad, and this is
- 28:19setting them up for a lifetime of problems and hitching their wagon to problematic relationships
- 28:26and people. And you have everything to do with that, Janelle. You
- 28:29can't shirk responsibility and say, well, there wasn't outright neglect, but there's
- 28:33just like such a common thing like with people in narcissistic relationship is that it's
- 28:38not physical abuse or it's not you know, visible abuse, So they don't
- 28:44think that their mistreatment that they're feeling and all of this bullshit that they're experiencing
- 28:49is bad enough to leave. And that's where I was getting, like I
- 28:53was kind of feeling with Janelle, like it just seems like that's how she's
- 28:57always been this whole entire time. She's neglected, hardcore. She has been
- 29:02financially abused. We all know this, We've all seen this. Her kids
- 29:06have been begging her for years to leave Cody. So it's not like people
- 29:10have not been telling her to her face. She just doesn't think it's bad
- 29:15enough to leave because, in her words just last episode, I was okay
- 29:18with it for a while and now I need something different. So I'm judging
- 29:22changed. I'm judging her for this, Well, she's changed, and they
- 29:26actually talk about how Cody's changed, and they've changed. Everybody's changed. But
- 29:29I'm hardcore judging her for putting up with this on behalf of their children for
- 29:33the entire time and like not thinking ahead. And I understand it's your faith,
- 29:37but if your faith is toxic, right, if your faith is punitive
- 29:42or to women and children, Yeah, if this is what you're showing your
- 29:47kids, then wake up right and do the right thing. I just don't
- 29:49have I don't know. That just hit me the wrong way when she said
- 29:52there was no abuse to neglects so that's why she never left. There was
- 29:56actually though, Yeah, my friends back at marries house, we are having
- 30:00the conversation with Robin and they're talking about how they're going to handle life once
- 30:04Mary starts spending more time in Utah. And Mary says, well, if
- 30:10something happens with the kids, or if something's going down, if there's an
- 30:14event, you're gonna have to text me. You know, you're gonna have
- 30:15to actually reach out. And then on the camera she's me on the couch.
- 30:21She says, I was alone during the entire pandemic. Robin didn't call
- 30:26me, Robin didn't text me, which, of course, we raccoons,
- 30:32we felt that we knew that we're sniffed in the trash from a mile away,
- 30:34honey. But finally Mary said it. I loved that she outed her
- 30:40on that, and I've been seeing that on the reddits, like everybody is
- 30:42wondering if Mary was just like this sleeper sniper this whole entire time, like
- 30:47undercover, just believing Robin's bullshit just to expose her at the right moment.
- 30:52And everybody's talking about how Cody and Robin are getting the edit they deserve this
- 30:56time around, like where it's actually being shown how shitty you guys are and
- 31:00your lies are not adding up. All the ship's not adding up. Robin
- 31:04acting like she's such a good friend that she cares about Mary and her feelings.
- 31:10You don't even know her, You're not even messaging her, You're not
- 31:14caring about her during COVID, dude, And I was messaging my distant ass
- 31:18ho ass family out in all of these other states, like I don't even
- 31:22talk to them. I was messaging people I don't even have really good relationships
- 31:26with because I was genuinely worried about them during the pandemic, Like are you
- 31:30alive though? Right? Like you couldn't even do that. If you have
- 31:33the minimalist amount of compassion and love for somebody, you're checking in and making
- 31:37sure they're okay. But Robin's an EmPATH, right, right, She's an
- 31:41mpath. She feels things so deeply. Yeah, Okay, except she doesn't.
- 31:45Except she doesn't. That was just that was really sad. But I
- 31:51was so glad that she said something. Mary also said that she does not
- 31:53believe that Cody has been sitting here for a couple of years lamenting the destruction
- 32:00of his family, because if he was truly lamenting, which is a form
- 32:02of grieving, kind of grieving out loud, grieving in a demonstrative way,
- 32:07if you were truly grieving and you could fix it, you would do that.
- 32:10Yeah, but you're not doing anything. You're Atlas and you've shrugged,
- 32:14right, you set the world down. You're expecting everybody else to do the
- 32:17heavy lifting for you. So Mary's like, I'm not buying this anymore.
- 32:21You're not lamenting, you just don't give a shit. And Robin's kind of
- 32:24surprised when she says this. She's kind of taken back a little bit.
- 32:28And what did you think about her reaction to this? When Mary was like,
- 32:32you know, Robin, if he actually cared, why isn't he making
- 32:36any effort? Like specifically, why isn't he making any effort with me,
- 32:39and Robin starts to say something, she says, that's the billion dollar question.
- 32:44Yeah, but she also said something right right before she started to be
- 32:46like boo boo and didn't say anything. She knew she was on camera,
- 32:51But like, what did you think about her reaction to that? I thought
- 32:53she was caught off guard. I feel like it's very similar to the reaction
- 32:57that Cody had last week with Janelle at Salsa Brava when yes, when Janelle
- 33:01brings up, oh, you didn't even call Savannah though, and Cody doesn't
- 33:05have an answer and he should have had an answer for that, but he
- 33:08just didn't expect her to say it on camera. And I think we're having
- 33:12a similar moment here that Robin is not expecting even and it's so slight.
- 33:16It's not like Mary's pushing a lot, right, bitch, She's really not.
- 33:20She's saying the bare minimum, but she is not expecting Mary to say
- 33:23even that, and so I feel like she's just, oh, oh,
- 33:27this is what we're doing, taken off guard, Okay, And this is
- 33:30where she kind of tips over into because again Mary said, you know,
- 33:35she hasn't called me, she hasn't done anything. And this is where Robin
- 33:37says, well, I've just been inside of myself. I've really deprass.
- 33:43My whole world is falling apart and people are making decisions on my behalf that
- 33:47impacted my family, and I'm really depressed and upset about it. But I'm
- 33:52not a victim. I would never say I'm a victim. Yeah, I
- 33:55don't even indulge that way of thinking. Could never be a victim. Get
- 34:00that straight. It's like, Oh, it's just toughen up and man up
- 34:04and deal with it, that's what she says. Yeah, she's so full.
- 34:07I just like, wow, do you not watch any of these episodes?
- 34:13I mean, she's got it. You're not a raccoon. You're not
- 34:15archiving every episode and like watching everything, watching scene, watching multiple times,
- 34:20like memorizing it in your raccoon brain. But like, watch your episodes back,
- 34:24because if you just look, you can see the ship that you've said
- 34:27all along. You can see the way that it would becomes true that you
- 34:30are a manipulative hag. You can see all of this unfolding right before your
- 34:32eyes. But you don't. You believe your own bullshit. That's what makes
- 34:37you a pathological liar. On a narcissist. They totally They've been lying for
- 34:42so long that they believe they're just their own bullshit. Yeah, they like
- 34:45don't even know any other reality but their own distorted one that they've concocted.
- 34:51It's pretty bizarre to watch. Yeah, it is bizarre to watch. I
- 34:54think how many people are on the planet who live in that state of unconsciousness,
- 34:59Oh God, just believe their own ship and they're huffing their own farts
- 35:02and they have no idea how they're coming off to the rest of the world,
- 35:05like free radicals, just bumping into everything and destroying it. Cody's a
- 35:08free radical dude. He's destroying his whole family, out of control, and
- 35:12he takes no responsibility for any of it, none at all. He really
- 35:16him and Robin both think that they're the ultimate victims in this entire scenario.
- 35:22I'm just like, are you stupid? Yes? Yes, people even said
- 35:29yes they are. We also go back to sel Sabrov and have that conversation
- 35:32about how Cody has changed, and Christine remarks interestingly that he's changed so much
- 35:39that she could never actually be attracted to the kind of guy that Cody currently
- 35:45is. And this kind of gives Janelle an aha moment where she's like,
- 35:49yeah, actually, maybe that's what it is. Because for years and years
- 35:52and years my punani tingled for Cody Brown. We were in a renaissance in
- 35:58Vegas. Baby, he was getting me poetry was tickling the hot fat cat,
- 36:02fat cat, thank you, the hot box and the fat cat.
- 36:06I was into it. But something has changed. And I was watching Red
- 36:09Lips, Red Lipstick Reality TV and she was talking about how what has changed
- 36:15is his morals, his value system, which is a thread that takes us
- 36:22back to the manisphere, to the red Pill, to Andrew Tate, to
- 36:25all those toxic, poisonous forums that he was on over covid and probably before,
- 36:31to be honest with you, and how in the last I don't know,
- 36:35four to five years, he has changed his entire outlook, outlook on
- 36:39life. And now women are bad. He hates women. He's shirking his
- 36:45responsibility to cell. He's a fucking insult. He's a men going his own
- 36:49way. He even used the term men going their own way. Mike Tao,
- 36:52Oh he did. He did use that term when he was talking to
- 36:55his dumb friends Nate or whatever. My god, the actual term analogy,
- 37:02and so I think Janelle is waking up to the reality that, oh,
- 37:07this guy's is different. He's not the same And even Mary says he's not
- 37:10the same, happy, go lucky, wonderful person that he used to be.
- 37:15There's something very dark in him. And what I wanted to tell you
- 37:17was, I think you have to have a fundamental flaw of character, and
- 37:23it's got to be a big fucking flaw for you to change, so much
- 37:28like, please try and catch me ever in my life, turning my back
- 37:31on my child, turning my back on my spouse, turning my back on
- 37:37my responsibilities to the people that I care the most for. The only way
- 37:40you'd catch me doing that is if I didn't love them in the first place.
- 37:44And if I didn't care them in the first place, I could never
- 37:46turn into something like that now. I mean, maybe I'm talking out of
- 37:51ignorance, but I can't see it ever happening. The fact that Cody's turning
- 37:54like this, becoming this black, dark hearted troll of a man, means
- 38:00he's always kind of been that way. Like deep down, yep, that's
- 38:02my theory. He's always kind of been that way. That would make sense,
- 38:07I guess, because it just seems like a dramatic change. And even
- 38:10Christine and Janelle talk about how he used to be bold and charismatic and courageous,
- 38:15and I'm just like, what do you mean by that, because I
- 38:19mean we saw a glimpse of him and season one, maybe before all the
- 38:24fame, before all the bullshit, where there was a little glimpse of him
- 38:29of what he may have used to be, where he had this magical relationship
- 38:34and a magical family with the three og wives, and then Robin came and
- 38:37fucked it all up with their breakdance and pussy. So it's like there was
- 38:40obviously a change, and I always attributed it to Robin and her manipulation and
- 38:46her desire to be the tonipulate me into estranging myself from my family, Like
- 38:52you can't well know, because you've got a big brain and you have a
- 38:55big heart, Like you would never have that inclination. And ever if somebody,
- 39:00if your husband right now, who's the love of your life right came
- 39:04and told you, yeah, you shouldn't talk to Beatrice ever again or her
- 39:07wife, fuck them, fuck them hose, you'd be like, fuck you
- 39:10right, Well, we'll be like, Okay, it's time talk about what
- 39:14the fuck is going on? Absolutely, yeah, absolutely not. So.
- 39:17My theory is it's always been inside him. He's always been this person.
- 39:22He's always hated his family. No, he's just always had the capacity to.
- 39:25I don't think he's ever committed to them as deeply as they have committed
- 39:29to him. He wouldn't have been able to be moved from his position if
- 39:34he loved them the way that they loved him, and they depended on him
- 39:37man the way they the way Joannelle gave him her money, the way Joanne
- 39:40now gifted the money for Robert to buy her house. That woman was believing.
- 39:45She was believing in the dream, and he never believed in it.
- 39:49I don't think he ever believed in it. I think he's a bad person.
- 39:51He lacks integrity. He's also weak, and he's fucking soft, and
- 39:54he's living in the shadow of when his father. Everything he has done up
- 39:59until maybe Robin, I don't know, has been to try and please his
- 40:01father and what his father wanted for him in his life. And that's why
- 40:06I think the loss of Janelle in particular is very stinging to him, because
- 40:10Wynn really loved Janelle when married Janelle's mama, that's true, and Winn spoke
- 40:15so highly of Janelle, and so for Janelle to be piecing out on Cody
- 40:21it hurts even more than Christine, which also really yes, oh fuck yes
- 40:24really, because it seems like Cody is really fucking distraught over Christine. He
- 40:30can't stop himself from bringing her up. Yes, every moment, even Robin
- 40:34brings her up at every moment. No id percent think the loss of Janelle
- 40:38is the biggest loss of all. Maybe Robin would be the biggest loss of
- 40:42all. I'm not sure if that would ever happen. But Janelle for him,
- 40:45I mean, you're going back into the lineage, babe, You're going
- 40:49back into the ancestral energy. I feel like he loves her, respects her.
- 40:53She's a strong ass woman. She's left in before. She's the one
- 40:57who bought the Lee High House. She's the one who got him out of
- 41:00a lot of problems. Yeah, Janelle's got game, my friend, as
- 41:04you do. And so yeah, I think it's a big loss to him,
- 41:07and I think that probably threatens Robin a little bit. Oh totally.
- 41:09She's an EmPATH, she can feel that. Yeah, she isn't a path.
- 41:15But do you also think that there's a little nugget of truth with Robin
- 41:17when she says the bullshit of like Cody's got a lot of weight on his
- 41:22shoulders, and Cody using the analogy of Atlas and holding the world on his
- 41:28shoulders, and he shrugged it off, Like, do you think there's a
- 41:30little nugget of truth of like he just got overwhelmed with the scale of his
- 41:35family and the responsibilities that it takes to be one man and have to maintain
- 41:40not only four marriages but twenty thousand relationships with all of these children. Like
- 41:45do you think I'm not I'm not justifying his behavior obviously of abandoning his family.
- 41:51He created this huge, ginormous family. He should be responsible for maintaining
- 41:54it. But do you think that part of that overwhelming feeling of like all
- 42:00this all of this bullshit, it's the apparatus of your family, like the
- 42:05whole structure. Do you think that that's why he part of the reason why
- 42:07he changed though he's like, I just got lazy because he just wanted to
- 42:10maintain the one family. I think that's what makes him weak. I think
- 42:15that's what makes him soft because more money, more problems. With more money,
- 42:20they had more houses. They bought Kyote Pass. They're going to be
- 42:22a big house. They're going to be five different houses. There was way
- 42:25more infrastructure involved in maintaining and managing all of these relationships. Absolutely, but
- 42:31a strong man would do it, and a strong man would know how to
- 42:34do it. A strong man wouldn't bounce as soon as it got acute and
- 42:37got hard. He would workshop the problem with all of his wives and even
- 42:40his kids. And you can't tell me that it's harder with his children.
- 42:43They're all old now, they had been raised, they're out of the house.
- 42:45You only have the tenders and truly, and Savannah, you are neglecting
- 42:50Savannah. You don't give a fuck about truly. Let's just call a space
- 42:52space to not give a fuck about truly. You only care about your kids.
- 42:57So he's soft, he's weak, he's lazy, coward, But he's
- 43:02also one hundred percent up Robin's pussy. That's where he wants to baby a
- 43:07trust ever. He wants to be in that bed, he wants to be
- 43:10in that kitchen, he wants to be with her all the time. They
- 43:14are truly in love and that's a beautiful thing. But tell the truth about
- 43:17it, right, just keeps stringing people along, like Christine says, like
- 43:22he likes to string people along. He's been stringing Mary along for years,
- 43:25He's been string He's strung me along for quite some time. I finally said
- 43:30no, and he was trying to string Janelle along. This is what he's
- 43:32doing because he's a coward. Yeah, And this is one of the things
- 43:36that Christine said in terms of how he has changed because he's no longer courageous,
- 43:40which is another way of saying that bitch is a coward and he is
- 43:45a coward. Before moving on to the next segment, we have to talk
- 43:47about how Mary asks Robin like, why isn't he doing more? Why isn't
- 43:52Cody doing more? I mean, he's so angry, he's so upset.
- 43:55Well, why isn't he doing something to fix this? And did you catch
- 43:58how Robin and got really defensive and she's like, well, what is he
- 44:02supposed to be doing? I don't understand your fucking question. Yeah, And
- 44:06I'm like, what do you mean, what is he supposed to be doing?
- 44:07Yeah? What kind of question is that to ask? To marry of
- 44:10all fucking people who's been the most not Yeah, let me count the ways
- 44:15I could call my kids. I could call my wives. I could equally
- 44:19support them financially. I could show up at their houses. I could continue
- 44:22to write poetry. I could provide for my family. I could be a
- 44:27friend to my family, Like I could spend my time equally amongst the house.
- 44:30Like, there's so many different ways anyway, what do you mean,
- 44:32Robin? What do you mean? Robin? Like when she's like, well,
- 44:37how is he supposed to act differently he's supposed to do? I'm just
- 44:39sick. I can't with you. And again Janelle calls this out. This
- 44:43is an emmo of Robin's yea. She likes to pretend that she's confused or
- 44:47that she doesn't know, or that she doesn't remember, Like, well,
- 44:51what do you mean Cody has any responsibility whatsoever in any of these marriages.
- 44:54I don't get it. What's your question? What do you mean? It's
- 44:58Christine's fall that the family broke up. It's Christine's fault for Cody being angry
- 45:05and being a bitter person, like Robin believes Cody's bullshit. Robin believes this
- 45:09lie that it's everybody else's fault, but Cody, she doesn't she believes.
- 45:15Don't believe that she believes that. I think she knows one hundred percent that
- 45:21what they have done to the other sister wives is unfair, that they have
- 45:25come on. Do you guys think Robin knows that what they've done is unfair
- 45:30and even cruel or do you think Robin doesn't understand that? Well? I
- 45:36think how she has impacted the rest of the family. I mean, she
- 45:38probably crazy. Well are you sick? Are you awake right now? Are
- 45:45you for real? For real? Beatrice? Well, but that would mean
- 45:49that she would have to be really fucking smart and be this machiavellian machiavellian puppet
- 45:53master this entire time to know what she has been doing and what Cody has
- 46:00been doing is wrong. And then if what Cody says is true at the
- 46:04end of this episode about how he doesn't want to abandon the rest of the
- 46:07wives because he doesn't want to lose Robin's respect, that would mean that Robin
- 46:12would hold value and Cody maintaining these marriages or putting on the air that he
- 46:17is maintaining these mayor moneies. Well, yeah, and I also don't believe
- 46:22him. Well, yeah, she does not need to be smart. I
- 46:24don't know how many times we have to discuss this, but let's do it
- 46:27again, bitch. She does not have to be smart to be able to
- 46:30be a puppet master. All she has to do is to have instinct.
- 46:34Yes, all she has to do is to have instinct. Don't people know
- 46:37how to rob other people? Don't people know how to commit crimes? Don't
- 46:40people know how to abuse their children? Like? Don't people do this shit
- 46:44all the time. Yeah, I'm not saying Robin is dumb, but yes,
- 46:46I asked she's a dumb dumb Yeah, but she has the instinct and
- 46:50she knows she wants her man, And a woman knows how to do what
- 46:52a woman knows how to do, just like a man knows how to do
- 46:54it. A man knows how to do. That's true, that's fair.
- 46:58You caved really easily on that was playing devil's advocate A Yeah, well,
- 47:01let me ask you why does the devil need an advocate? I got that
- 47:06off Reddit, and that's so fucking good. That's true. Back itsels,
- 47:08Brava. We're having a conversation about Cody's primary complaints against Christine and Janelle,
- 47:16and Christine's like it was always that I wasn't a good sister wife. And
- 47:21you know what, I feel like I was a good sister wife. Maybe
- 47:22not the best. Yeah, there were things I could have done differently,
- 47:27but like I wanted to be a good sister wife, but Robin really never
- 47:30gave me the opportunity. Case in point, she never let me take care
- 47:34of her children. And that is the essence of what sister wives do for
- 47:37one another. They show up for the children. But Robin got a nanny.
- 47:42And Robin never really integrated into the fabric of the family structure. She
- 47:46always held herself separate and apart from the rest of us, and in doing
- 47:52so, I could never really be a full and complete sister wife to her.
- 47:54And I was like, preach girl, tell more so good. And
- 48:00Janelle is just kind of like smiling because she knows this is true, and
- 48:05she even says to Christine like, this is kind of how it's evolved in
- 48:07the family. Is that, like everybody's been kind of part of the sidelines.
- 48:13I think this is the part where Christine talks about the parties and how
- 48:16every time she planned a party. Yes, Cody arrived as a guest,
- 48:21but then Cody was right there planning all of the parties for him and Robbin's
- 48:24house and everything like that, So he was acting like a husband for her.
- 48:28And so it's in all of those moments, compounded over time, over
- 48:31ten twelve years, that have shown to all of these wives that yeah,
- 48:36they're just side characters in this Galaxy quest. It's just him and Robin the
- 48:40whole entire time. Yes, And this is where Janelle brings up the fact
- 48:44that you couldn't criticize Robin. To criticize Robin and her impact in the other
- 48:51marriages was tantamount to abuse. According to Cody, because as soon as anybody
- 48:57brought it up, and hello, it's legitimate to bring it up. Yeah,
- 49:00because you're spending twenty five nights out of thirty over there at Robin's house
- 49:05and that impacts our marriage and our children. So I'm gonna bring that shit
- 49:07up. Hello. But anytime you brought that up, he immediately shut it
- 49:10down. Robin can do no wrong. She's just a sweet girl. You're
- 49:14all just picking on her. She came into this family cap in hand and
- 49:16with her bills. Did they go on the counter the bills go on the
- 49:20counter. My Victoria's secret bills do. But she's a sweet woman and I
- 49:23will not hear any criticism of her if you do. The near big bad
- 49:28sister wife, Now, do you think that that was fueled by Cody and
- 49:30his love and lusts? Her always playing the victim and feeling so hurt and
- 49:38always being so sensitive and always going out of her way to other herself and
- 49:44her children, which reminds me of Gwendolyn Brown on her Patreon because she told
- 49:49the story of like she must have been I don't know, nine or ten
- 49:52years old or really young girl. She's riding along with Robin and the kids
- 49:57in Robin's minivan and Robin's pregnant with kings Alomon, and so Gwendolen says something
- 50:01like, I'm so excited we'll have like a brother in common, a full
- 50:05blood brother. Although I'm sure she said it as a child would, and
- 50:07with the innocence of a child, did she say it? And Robin fucking
- 50:12stops the mini van starts crying Aurora and dating it. Brianna, they are
- 50:16your sisters and brother, Oh my god, you're actually your family too,
- 50:22and turned it into this big fucking production and spectacle about how Gwendolen didn't accept
- 50:29them as real family, Like Gwendolen's fine, Yeah, she's just a kid.
- 50:34She goes to great pains to do this, and she's doing it to
- 50:37a nine year old Gwendolen. She's doing it to Christine, she's doing it
- 50:39to Mary, she's doing it to Cody. When Cody comes home and talks
- 50:43about the ship that's going on in these homes, which he does, right,
- 50:45So of course Cody being in love with her and wants the best for
- 50:49her, of course he believes that. So that, okay, that makes
- 50:52sense. Well, we just heard about it because Janelle said, I think
- 50:54in last episode that she had a private conversation with Robin about how maybe she
- 51:00doesn't want to buy the McMansion because it's a lot of money we would use
- 51:02for Coyote Pass. But it was a normal conversation between two sister wives.
- 51:07She takes that to Cody, and somehow something's lost in translation, and Cody
- 51:13brings it up a year and a half later and paints it as if Janelle
- 51:15attacked Robin. I guarantee you Robin conveyed it as such. Cody didn't make
- 51:20that shit up. Oh yeah, and I get with it. And Robin
- 51:22even reveals that she does that when she's talking to Mary, because Mary's like,
- 51:27are you going to be there? When I tell Cody then I'm moving
- 51:30because I'm gonna need you to be there. And Robin's like, yeah,
- 51:32I'll translate for you, because you know, people call me what she's like
- 51:37people I speak, Cody, I speak, I'm the Cody with spur.
- 51:40You just revealed your hand there, Robin Brown, we know what you're doing.
- 51:45So in the conversation it saws sobravo. When they're talking about how we
- 51:47can't criticize Robin, we segue into that the fact that Robin paints herself as
- 51:55a victim, and again hermo is to act like she doesn't know what's happening.
- 52:00I'm so confused and mystified. But that her need to be a victim
- 52:06runs so deep that Janelle doesn't think it is overcomable, Like, I don't
- 52:10think this bitch is ever going to change. I think because she's always going
- 52:15to need to see herself as somebody Cody has to take care of, which
- 52:19Janelle calls the damsel in distress syndrome or whatever. Because she has to do
- 52:23that. I'm never going to be I'm never going to have a normal relationship
- 52:27with Cody Brown, and something's got to change whatever happens to me. Janelle
- 52:30says, whether I'm marry again, you know that marriage, or like if
- 52:37God gives me a guy, and says, this is the one, irrespective,
- 52:42it has got to be different than what I got going on right now
- 52:45with Cody Brown. Yes, honey, yes, at least at the very
- 52:47least, at the very least, you deserve different. Now, what is
- 52:51Robin gonna do when all of these wives are gone and she has nothing to
- 52:57fill her time with Cody? Like she's been manipulating Cody this whole entire time
- 53:01and like acting like this damsel in distress. What are you going to do
- 53:05now when all of the wives are gone? Continue because she used, I
- 53:07think with her kids, with her children, who Cody has admitted he plans
- 53:15to have them in the house for at least fifteen years. While Saul at
- 53:17the time is probably nine years old, so like well into his twenties,
- 53:22even though he wanted to kick out Gabe and Garrison as soon as they turned
- 53:24eighteen. Yeah, so he's intending for those children to stick around. I
- 53:29think Robin maybe deeply invested in keeping the children as baby like as possible.
- 53:37This is a theory on Reddit as baby like as possible, because Cody really
- 53:42is enamored with the little ones. He's always picking up the little ones,
- 53:45and as soon as you get old, especially if you're a boy, he's
- 53:47discarding you. And so Robin is trying to make it because on the couch
- 53:52here with Saulinari talking about the minipikes that they'll never be able to ride,
- 53:54I think Sault is nine or ten. Oh, yeah, he's old enough
- 53:59that he could ride one. He looks like he's six. Yeah, he
- 54:01looks really really young. And same with Ari with her fucking binky a couple
- 54:06episodes, he's like one year younger than truly Geez put that into perspective.
- 54:10So I'm wondering if she's trying to keep them in the baby years as long
- 54:15as possible, so Cody stays interested in them, therefore interested in her.
- 54:20No one, sup. All of the kids are out of the house and
- 54:22it's just Cody and Robin. Girl, I don't know what the fuck she's
- 54:25going to leave him. She's gotta right like because there's not going to be
- 54:29anything for her to do. Oh my god, you're going to be stuck
- 54:32with Cody, no idea. We kind of end the episode and the scene
- 54:39with Mary saying something that I was like, are you fucking kidding me right
- 54:44now? Which is the following. She's like, it's me and Robin that
- 54:46are the ones that really care about this relationship. We are the ones that
- 54:51are willing to have difficult conversations, which you need to do if you want
- 54:55to heal relationships. And I'm thinking to myself, Mary, aren't you the
- 55:00woman who anytime things got a little dicey or a little too close to you,
- 55:06you're like, walls up, walls up, Yeah, feeling unsafe.
- 55:09She totally is, I have to remove myself from the situation because I'm feeling
- 55:14unsafe all of a sudden. You're able to have difficult conversations. Show me,
- 55:20show me when, show me how I've never seen it. I'm like,
- 55:22what difficult conversations are you talking about? Because a difficult conversation would be
- 55:27you confronting Robin on her shitty friendship to you and how she's stringing you along
- 55:30along with Cody. Like that's the difficult conversation I need to be having with
- 55:34her, not this stupid bullshit about you being afraid to tell her that you're
- 55:37moving. Yeah, I know. I was just like, I'm disappointed in
- 55:40you. But at the same time, you ended it by saying, I
- 55:44need to go where people want me, Like I want to be where people
- 55:47want me. I don't want to be where I'm unwelcome. I have a
- 55:51full life, I have a good life. I've got a lot of stuff
- 55:53on my plate, and so I just want to focus on being in the
- 55:57vibe of that. Yeah, and Robin, I guess understands she's hurt,
- 56:01but she understands she should see the writing on the wall that Mary's leaving.
- 56:07Mary's leaving. Oh, yeah, she should see that, the writing on
- 56:09the wall. Yeah, I think she sees that. I don't think she's
- 56:13actually feeling for Mary in this moment, though. I think she's crying because
- 56:17she herself. Yeah, because she's going to be alone with Cody, and
- 56:22because she potentially is going to lose another income stream, because she knows Janelle
- 56:27is going out the door. She knows it's also dishonoring and it's an embarrassment
- 56:30and that they failed and Robin you failed, and Cody, you especially failed,
- 56:34especially because Robin can be as toxic and as vile as possible. Yeah,
- 56:39but you're the one that stands at the door, the centurion at the
- 56:44gate, to protect your family. You let this woman inside, you,
- 56:49let her change your mind, You let her change how you treat your children,
- 56:52and she can be as fucked up as possible. But that one,
- 56:54my guy, that's on you, totally. That's on you. Preach.
- 56:59Now we get to the preview for next week, and of course we will
- 57:01be about to talk about that. We see Christine continuing to encourage Janelle to
- 57:07move to Utah. Oh my gosh, she just wants it. So Sister
- 57:10Wives Forever, Sister Wives Lives. Yes, we see Mary telling Cody that
- 57:17she's leaving, but that she's still in the family and she's still in this
- 57:22relationship. And then Cody's like, I don't care. It doesn't even phase
- 57:27me. It has no effect on me at all. Ever, I wonder
- 57:30what he's going to say in the moment, because I think I heard or
- 57:34read somewhere that the description of that episode says that it goes way worse than
- 57:38Mary expected it to go. So I think we're going to get into some
- 57:42horship we love. We also see Cody saying that he's afraid to abandon the
- 57:50O G three wives because Robin will lose respect for him. That's huge.
- 57:53Maybe he's a weak fucking man who can't stand up to his wife. And
- 57:58last, but not least, Janelle and Cody go on a date. Why
- 58:01And he's so excited. He's got butterflies. They're fluttering in his six pack
- 58:06ab abdomen and his pencil, and his pencil is getting a little tagli down
- 58:09there, don't know at mooist. He's getting really excited for this date and
- 58:15he's kind of jonesing for a little kiss. Maybe she'll favor him with a
- 58:19kiss. And Janelle's just riding in the car like, dude, it's Bin
- 58:22over, I'm done with you, Asta Lavisa. Then why is she going
- 58:25on a date? She's probably wanting to co parent consciously or uncouple consciously,
- 58:30but she knows this guy's going to be in her life for the rest of
- 58:32her life. Might as well just have a conversation. We have yet to
- 58:36see. Maybe she's giving it one final shot. The good old college,
- 58:39dry the old college. But we at least have the comfort and the solace
- 58:44of knowing that woman leaves him. Whatever he tries ain't gonna work. Janelle's
- 58:51gone, Dude, this pace out. I just want to see her with
- 58:54a big strapping cowboy. Dude, big old, big dick, strong,
- 59:00big old You say this every episode we've received, We've received your manifestation.
- 59:07Keep putting it out there. We'll give it some time. Janille has to
- 59:10get Janelle has to be patient. Janelle has to be okay with that.
- 59:14She's still like Mary is trying to remove her identity from the cult and from
- 59:19the family. Jill is doing the same thing. She's still deep in the
- 59:22cult. So he's gonna take her some time. But yeah, I co
- 59:23signed that manifestation, Honey, I want happiness for I don't think she's ever
- 59:28known what it's like to be with like one of those kinds of men.
- 59:31Because she thought Cody was attractive. I know she loved his man bun.
- 59:37She thought he was the bee's knees. And I'm like, you have yet
- 59:39to sample the glorious tastings of men out in the world, all the ice
- 59:45cream flavors, all the ice cream flavors, as it were, like you
- 59:49have yet to sample what like a real man is like, Oh yeah,
- 59:52I know. I just want that for her so bad. And Mary,
- 59:55or with a woman, that's fine, I mean, yes, a biker
- 59:59person, you a we say that with Mary. So do you think that
- 1:00:00that's something that's possible. Yes, I just I don't know why inappropriate of
- 1:00:05you, as a gay person to speculate on somebody's gayness. I'm allowed to
- 1:00:09because of my authority as the l and the LGBTQ. I'm an authorities are
- 1:00:16always trying to invite additional lisbians into the fullest and my gaydar has never been
- 1:00:22wrong. No, and you think you've got some gaydar with Mary? Yes,
- 1:00:24my god. Does anybody out there have gay dar for Mary? I
- 1:00:28would love to see it. You know. I love a gay fantasy.
- 1:00:30Yes, I love a gay especially a lesbian fan. We need more lesbians,
- 1:00:34Yes, out here, girl. Any kind of Dike will do.
- 1:00:38Yes, any kind of Dike will We'll speak in into existence for you.
- 1:00:43Mary. Put it on the vision board. You're welcome, You're welcome.
- 1:00:46All right. This is a great episode. Yeah, a lot of conversation.
