- 0:50Speaker 4: seven seven valdest one and check it out. We've got
- 0:54Speaker 4: James Coby, former director of the FBI, indicted. Arrest warrants
- 0:58Speaker 4: have been filed along with the indictment. The Attorney General
- 1:02Speaker 4: of the United States joined the current FBI director, Cash
- 1:06Speaker 4: Pattel to make this announcement, and we've got some audio
- 1:09Speaker 4: of that. Check this out. Good afternoon.
- 1:15Speaker 5: Today, a grand jury sitting in the Eastern District of
- 1:17Speaker 5: North Carolina returned an indictment against James call Me on
- 1:22Speaker 5: two counts. The first count is a honor about May
- 1:26Speaker 5: fifteenth of last year, he knowingly and wilfully making a
- 1:29Speaker 5: threat to take the life of and to inflict bodily
- 1:32Speaker 5: harm upon the President of the United States. Count two,
- 1:36Speaker 5: same day, May fifteenth, twenty twenty five, that the defendant
- 1:40Speaker 5: James call Me, knowingly and wilfully transmitting an interstate commerce
- 1:44Speaker 5: a communication that contained a threat to kill the President
- 1:48Speaker 5: of the United States. Both of these counts carry a
- 1:50Speaker 5: maximum term of imprisonment of ten years.
- 1:57Speaker 4: Good afternoon. Now that wasn't all he had to say.
- 2:00Speaker 4: He went on. He actually started sparring with a reporter.
- 2:04Speaker 4: But before that happened, I wanted to get to Cash
- 2:06Speaker 4: pttel Or, the FBI director who also weighed in on
- 2:09Speaker 4: the arrest of James Comy. From the investigative perspective. Listen
- 2:12Speaker 4: to this one, Cash Pattel, as.
- 2:15Speaker 6: You heard from the Attorney General in the US attorney
- 2:18Speaker 6: former FBI Director James Comy has now been indicted for
- 2:21Speaker 6: two felony counts. While many of you may read this
- 2:24Speaker 6: indictment in view this matter as a simple investigation, is
- 2:27Speaker 6: the farthest thing from that. Every single investigation this FBI
- 2:30Speaker 6: and our partners at the Department of Justice undertake, especially
- 2:33Speaker 6: those that involve the threats to harm or hurt or
- 2:37Speaker 6: even kill individuals, whether they behold public office or civilians
- 2:40Speaker 6: in our country, are met with the same measure of
- 2:43Speaker 6: investigative prowess and tools and personnel in partnership with the
- 2:46Speaker 6: Department of Justice as anyone else. As the US Attorney indicated,
- 2:49Speaker 6: James Comey will be afforded every matter of due process
- 2:52Speaker 6: under the United States Constitution, And as the Attorney General indicated,
- 2:56Speaker 6: this has been a case that's been investigated over the
- 2:58Speaker 6: past nine ten eleves months. These cases take time. Our
- 3:03Speaker 6: investigators work methodically. They are career agents, career prosecutors who
- 3:07Speaker 6: work these matters. They call the balls and strikes in
- 3:10Speaker 6: the field as they see fit pursuant to the facts
- 3:12Speaker 6: of the case and the law. They took that information
- 3:15Speaker 6: and made a presentment to a grand jury, a jury
- 3:18Speaker 6: of a peers in the district in which the alleged
- 3:20Speaker 6: crime took place, and that grand jury spoke, and that
- 3:23Speaker 6: grand jury returned to two count indictment against James Comy.
- 3:27Speaker 6: James Comy allegedly threatened the life of the President of
- 3:31Speaker 6: the United States, and as you all now know, shortly
- 3:34Speaker 6: after posting that threat, he deleted that threat and then
- 3:38Speaker 6: issued an apology. All of that information was presented to
- 3:41Speaker 6: the grand jury, and mister Komy will have his day
- 3:44Speaker 6: in court and his ability to speak to a jury
- 3:48Speaker 6: of his peers.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Thank you. Now, that again is Cash Mattel, the director
- 3:53Speaker 4: of the FBI, discussing the investigative part of this, the
- 3:56Speaker 4: actual arrest that is likely forthcoming. Now, how do we
- 4:00Speaker 4: know there's a arrest coming because there were arrest documents
- 4:03Speaker 4: in the actual indictment package. And this is an interesting thing,
- 4:07Speaker 4: and CNN gets into that. I'm going to get you
- 4:09Speaker 4: that audio in a moment. But what I thought was
- 4:12Speaker 4: really interesting here is that the media is holding on
- 4:15Speaker 4: to something that Director Patel just mentioned, which is the
- 4:19Speaker 4: fact that James Comey posted this threat to Instagram in
- 4:23Speaker 4: a cryptic manner. Right. He put eighty six forty seven,
- 4:26Speaker 4: which was an old mob term which is used in
- 4:28Speaker 4: restaurants as well to eighty six to nix, to kill,
- 4:31Speaker 4: to dead that and forty seven being the forty seventh
- 4:34Speaker 4: president of the United States. And of course he did
- 4:36Speaker 4: it so that he would have plausible deniability, so that
- 4:38Speaker 4: he could say, look, I didn't really, I don't know
- 4:41Speaker 4: what they're talking about. I thought like exactly like he did.
- 4:43Speaker 4: And he said, when they thought it was whatever, I
- 4:45Speaker 4: took it down right. Same thing they were saying about
- 4:47Speaker 4: ed Trumpeto with the picture of him wearing the white
- 4:50Speaker 4: robe in the red vestiment around him, you know where
- 4:53Speaker 4: he said, I thought I was a doctor, and they're saying,
- 4:55Speaker 4: they look like Jesus. He looked like the cartoon Jesus.
- 4:57Speaker 4: So many kids have grown up with. Right, people do
- 5:00Speaker 4: things to push the envelope. Sometimes I get that the
- 5:02Speaker 4: difference is Trump putting a picture of Jesus healing people
- 5:05Speaker 4: and doing whatever, really to get at the enemy, right,
- 5:09Speaker 4: because we're in a time of war with Iran, and
- 5:11Speaker 4: he posted this specifically at that time, I would suggest
- 5:14Speaker 4: to ruffle their feathers, not to ruffle mine. But whatever
- 5:18Speaker 4: the case may be. In my speculation aside, James Comy
- 5:22Speaker 4: did this, and it is in contravention of the law right.
- 5:26Speaker 4: It is against the law. At least this is what
- 5:28Speaker 4: they're alleging, and a grand jury decided that they were right.
- 5:31Speaker 4: So this is a very different charge than the first
- 5:34Speaker 4: time that they indicted him on some process crimes, which
- 5:37Speaker 4: it was a summons to appear. This time around, there's
- 5:40Speaker 4: an actual warrant for his arrest. Now I don't know
- 5:42Speaker 4: if they're going to negotiate, you know, one of those
- 5:44Speaker 4: things where he doesn't get handcuffed. He walks in and
- 5:47Speaker 4: they take his picture and they're all nice to him
- 5:49Speaker 4: and deferential, which likely will be the case where you
- 5:52Speaker 4: know he's gonna you know, charm them and be the
- 5:56Speaker 4: former FBI director and get treated with that level of respect. However,
- 6:02Speaker 4: it is going to be an arrest, and these are
- 6:03Speaker 4: criminal charges, and each one carries ten years, and I
- 6:06Speaker 4: don't know if they're going to get a conviction or not.
- 6:08Speaker 4: And this broke a little while ago, so I didn't
- 6:11Speaker 4: have the time to get in touch with our production
- 6:15Speaker 4: team and get Doug Burns on the phone, our friend
- 6:17Speaker 4: from the former Department of Justice head over there, chief
- 6:21Speaker 4: of the Criminal Division. But I can tell you from
- 6:24Speaker 4: what I'm looking at that I don't think they're going
- 6:28Speaker 4: to take this shot unless they think it can inflict
- 6:32Speaker 4: some sort of damage. Now there's a political upside to this, right,
- 6:36Speaker 4: The political upside is people have been saying we want accountability,
- 6:39Speaker 4: we want blood. So this actually, in effect, there's a
- 6:41Speaker 4: part of the base, the magabase at least, that says, hey,
- 6:44Speaker 4: we want to see people pay for the crimes they've committed,
- 6:47Speaker 4: and James Comy is chief among them. Now, I know
- 6:50Speaker 4: I have so many friends that don't follow politics, and
- 6:54Speaker 4: some of my friends do follow politics but disagree with
- 6:56Speaker 4: me vehemently on this stuff. Excuse me, however, our difference
- 7:03Speaker 4: is aside. We have to try to remain objective here
- 7:06Speaker 4: and realize that there was I'm going to use the
- 7:09Speaker 4: term Mark Levin coined, a soft coup, right, a soft coup.
- 7:14Speaker 4: It wasn't a full on coup where they used the
- 7:17Speaker 4: military to overthrow the government, but they tried to usurp
- 7:21Speaker 4: the power of candidate Trump and then President Trump in
- 7:25Speaker 4: this Russia Russia Russia hoax. Excuse me, frog in the throat,
- 7:30Speaker 4: I guess I should say a little coquie in my throat. Anyway,
- 7:33Speaker 4: the bottom line here is that really happened. Now, some
- 7:36Speaker 4: people will never admit that that happened, that the Russia Russia, Russia,
- 7:40Speaker 4: Russia Gate, Russia hoax, that it didn't happen, that this
- 7:42Speaker 4: was all a fabrication. But the reality is James Komi
- 7:46Speaker 4: was involved in this. So was President Obama, So was
- 7:50Speaker 4: Vice President Biden at the time. All right, Valerie Jared,
- 7:55Speaker 4: the whole crew, James Clapper, John Brennan, these people were
- 8:00Speaker 4: all instrumental in coming up with this strategy. Hillary Clinton
- 8:04Speaker 4: then candidate right with the fabrication of the Steel dossier
- 8:07Speaker 4: that said that President Trump was urinating on Russian hookers.
- 8:10Speaker 4: All this stuff was fabricated, It was fake, it was phony,
- 8:12Speaker 4: was fraud, It was proven to be fraud. Right. Even
- 8:16Speaker 4: the Muller investigation proved this. At the end of the day.
- 8:20Speaker 4: They didn't hold anyone accountable, but they said that Trump
- 8:23Speaker 4: didn't do those things, and so did the John Brennan,
- 8:28Speaker 4: Not John Brennan, what's the other John guy? Oh, geez,
- 8:32Speaker 4: I'm forgetting his name, but the other Independent Council. Bottom
- 8:34Speaker 4: line here, this stuff happened, whether people choose to, and
- 8:37Speaker 4: somebody went to jail, right, Kevin Kleinsmith went to jail
- 8:39Speaker 4: for fabricating. He's an FBI lawyer that fabricated an email
- 8:44Speaker 4: to get this stuff done. We had FISA overhaul last
- 8:47Speaker 4: year because of the abuse of the FISA system, the
- 8:50Speaker 4: Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and the court that they used
- 8:53Speaker 4: to get these warrants to surveil people. So we can't
- 8:57Speaker 4: bury our head in the sand and say that these
- 8:59Speaker 4: things didn't happen just because we don't like Trump or
- 9:01Speaker 4: we don't like the way he presents it in the media.
- 9:03Speaker 4: These things did happen. There was an active political attempt
- 9:07Speaker 4: to take away the power he had as president, and
- 9:11Speaker 4: I would say ultimately topple him as president, and it failed.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Now potentially the goal was maybe just to hurt him right,
- 9:20Speaker 4: to hurt him politically and slow him down and stymy him,
- 9:23Speaker 4: which again criminal, right, I mean, that is in effect
- 9:26Speaker 4: a coup when you try to slow someone down through
- 9:28Speaker 4: lawfare and whatnot. So all of that happened, And if
- 9:31Speaker 4: you don't believe me, I want you to look it
- 9:32Speaker 4: up on your own time, look it up independently and
- 9:34Speaker 4: realize that although people weren't held accountable, the documents, the
- 9:39Speaker 4: Moller investigation and the.
- 9:41Speaker 3: You know, let me look this up. I can't believe
- 9:43Speaker 3: I'm forgetting.
- 9:43Speaker 4: His name, John Durham. There we go. I can't believe
- 9:46Speaker 4: that that escaped me like that. The Durham Report that
- 9:50Speaker 4: he issued, and there was also the Inspector General's report, Horowitz.
- 9:54Speaker 4: These are all documents that if you want to argue
- 9:56Speaker 4: with me, or you want to argue with anybody, you
- 9:58Speaker 4: should read them in their entirety. You know, some of
- 10:00Speaker 4: them are very long documents, but you should read them
- 10:02Speaker 4: so you understand exactly what's in these documents because they
- 10:06Speaker 4: say a lot of stuff. And again, just because people
- 10:09Speaker 4: didn't go to jail doesn't mean these things didn't happen.
- 10:12Speaker 4: And that's where this appetite comes from for people that
- 10:15Speaker 4: did do this. Reading the people that said, you know what,
- 10:17Speaker 4: I'm gonna instead of watching the game, instead of taking
- 10:21Speaker 4: my kids to the park, instead of doing whatever I
- 10:23Speaker 4: normally would do, I'm going to become an internet sleuth.
- 10:27Speaker 4: I'm going to become a detective over here to start
- 10:30Speaker 4: taking apart things I would never have done in the past.
- 10:32Speaker 4: Because people were being lied to left and right by
- 10:35Speaker 4: the fake news media. And that's why we call them
- 10:36Speaker 4: the fake news media, because they were carrying the water
- 10:39Speaker 4: for the fake news doing the work of i should say,
- 10:43Speaker 4: of the left within the Democrat Party, And when people
- 10:47Speaker 4: realized what was in there, they said, man, these people
- 10:49Speaker 4: have to be held to account. But it seems that
- 10:51Speaker 4: the media hasn't learned its lesson. They are still at
- 10:55Speaker 4: it just the same way. They haven't learned a damn
- 10:58Speaker 4: thing right. In fact, the media and one of their
- 11:00Speaker 4: first questions to Attorney General Todd blanche the first question
- 11:04Speaker 4: they have is, well, Director Patel just said that James
- 11:07Speaker 4: Comy posted this threat alleged threat to Instagram and then
- 11:11Speaker 4: he took it right down. So you know, what's the
- 11:12Speaker 4: big deal. How are you going to prosecute him for
- 11:14Speaker 4: that crime? Literally acting as a defense attorney for James Comy,
- 11:18Speaker 4: I thought you were the media man. Listen to this,
- 11:20Speaker 4: go ahead, sir.
- 11:22Speaker 7: How will you prove intent when, as the director had acknowledged,
- 11:27Speaker 7: mister Comy said he did not associate eighty six with
- 11:30Speaker 7: doing harm and he took it down promptly said it
- 11:32Speaker 7: was political speech, not an intent.
- 11:34Speaker 3: To harm the president.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Now, hold on a second, I just want to be
- 11:37Speaker 4: clear here. This is in fact a reporter saying, look
- 11:41Speaker 4: he did it. He said he was sorry, How are
- 11:43Speaker 4: you going to prosecute him for this crime? How are
- 11:45Speaker 4: you going to prove that he really meant to harm
- 11:47Speaker 4: the president and he really wanted somebody to take that
- 11:50Speaker 4: threat actively. Just imagine any other person committing a crime
- 11:55Speaker 4: and the media asking this type of question. Well, I
- 11:57Speaker 4: mean he said, he was sorry. Right, this is a act, right,
- 12:00Speaker 4: this is not a traffic infraction. Just imagine any criminal
- 12:04Speaker 4: act you fill in the blank that you've committed you're
- 12:08Speaker 4: being accused of, and all of a sudden, the media
- 12:11Speaker 4: just comes in and says, oh, yeah, you know what
- 12:14Speaker 4: he said.
- 12:14Speaker 3: It was sorry. I mean, what's the big deal?
- 12:17Speaker 4: Imagine getting pulled over by the police and the cops said, hey,
- 12:20Speaker 4: look you're doing you know, ninety and a sixty five
- 12:22Speaker 4: and you go. But listen, I said, I was sorry,
- 12:23Speaker 4: what's the big deal? On what planet? Is that a
- 12:27Speaker 4: justifiable defense? But listen to what Attorney General Todd Blanche
- 12:31Speaker 4: had to say. Brilliant, brilliant response.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Well, it's not.
- 12:37Speaker 5: This case was indicted today. This conduct occurred about a
- 12:41Speaker 5: year ago, May fifteenth of last year. There's been a
- 12:44Speaker 5: tremendous amount of investigation, and how do you prove intent
- 12:47Speaker 5: in any case, you prove intent with witnesses, with documents,
- 12:51Speaker 5: with the defendant himself to the extent, to the extent
- 12:53Speaker 5: is appropriate, and that's how we'll improve an intent in
- 12:56Speaker 5: this case. And so I think that talking about what
- 13:01Speaker 5: mister Calemy will do will not do if there's a trial.
- 13:03Speaker 5: When there's a trial, it's not as very premature for
- 13:06Speaker 5: me to do that today.
- 13:08Speaker 4: Outstanding slow clap for Attorney General Todd Blanche. This response,
- 13:14Speaker 4: like many of his responses, was in fact a master
- 13:17Speaker 4: class in taking these people on. He never takes their bait, right,
- 13:21Speaker 4: they try to throw him off with but he said,
- 13:24Speaker 4: he was sorry, how are you going to do this?
- 13:25Speaker 4: How are you going to do putting him somehow at
- 13:28Speaker 4: a deficit and him standing his ground and saying, hold
- 13:31Speaker 4: on a second, let me make this extraordinarily clear to you.
- 13:34Speaker 4: We're gonna do what we do in every single case.
- 13:36Speaker 4: I loved it. I thought that was a brilliant response.
- 13:38Speaker 4: And the fake news media is so good at getting people,
- 13:41Speaker 4: in particular politicians to take the bait. And that's why
- 13:44Speaker 4: I like Todd Blanch because he was the president's defense
- 13:47Speaker 4: lawyer on the.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Hush money case. Right, the alleged hush money case.
- 13:54Speaker 4: And what was interesting about this was he was just
- 13:58Speaker 4: a good lawyer. He was a good lawyer, and now
- 14:00Speaker 4: he's here, and now he was a deputy ag. Now
- 14:02Speaker 4: he is the acting AG. And I think Todd blanche
- 14:06Speaker 4: is fantastic because he's not a politician, because he's a litigator,
- 14:10Speaker 4: because he's really tried and tested. I don't know, a
- 14:12Speaker 4: year and a half or two years ago, this guy
- 14:14Speaker 4: was in a courtroom defending his client, Donald Trump and others.
- 14:19Speaker 4: I love that. I love that he is truly independent
- 14:22Speaker 4: and away from the sphere of politics. This is not
- 14:26Speaker 4: somebody that's coming to the table where you know, we're
- 14:29Speaker 4: reading this long resume saying he was Attorney General of
- 14:34Speaker 4: the state of blah blah blah. Before that, he was
- 14:36Speaker 4: a county prosecutor. Was somebody with a decade or two
- 14:41Speaker 4: decades of experience in government service as an attorney. And yes,
- 14:45Speaker 4: I am disparaging that, right, I'm not saying exclusively that
- 14:50Speaker 4: it's a bad thing. And in fact, whenever I have
- 14:52Speaker 4: questions about these things, I bring in somebody that had
- 14:54Speaker 4: decades of experience working for the Department of Justice. Doug Burns.
- 14:58Speaker 4: He's my go to on these things, and you'll be
- 15:00Speaker 4: hearing from him in a couple of days for sure,
- 15:03Speaker 4: when you know is this develops with Komy. But my
- 15:06Speaker 4: point is that sometimes if you want someone in an
- 15:09Speaker 4: independent position and you want them to think like a lawyer,
- 15:13Speaker 4: you want them to be free of things, what do
- 15:15Speaker 4: you do. You get a guy like Todd Blanche. You
- 15:18Speaker 4: get a guy like Donald Trump who's been building buildings
- 15:22Speaker 4: for forty years, not messing around with the government for
- 15:25Speaker 4: forty years or thirty years or twenty years, who's free
- 15:28Speaker 4: from all of that swampiness. And that's how you get
- 15:33Speaker 4: the ball rolling in the right direction. You bring about
- 15:35Speaker 4: a real change. So kudos to El Trompito, kudos to
- 15:39Speaker 4: Todd Blanche, and even kudos here I'm going to give
- 15:42Speaker 4: to CNN because CNN weighed in on their analysis here
- 15:46Speaker 4: of the indictment and one of the charges, the most serious,
- 15:51Speaker 4: I would say, is threatening the life of the President
- 15:55Speaker 4: that James Comy is facing. And this is the legal
- 15:59Speaker 4: analysis from CNN. I want you to listen to how
- 16:02Speaker 4: they break it down.
- 16:03Speaker 8: I'm looking at this doc at Casey as the prosecutors
- 16:05Speaker 8: are putting different things in there, and there's an arrest
- 16:08Speaker 8: warrant that is in the docket for James Comy. I
- 16:12Speaker 8: was able to see it on through the court's system,
- 16:16Speaker 8: and it says that the marshals are being asked to
- 16:20Speaker 8: both provide Comy with the indictment and they are issuing
- 16:24Speaker 8: an arrest warrant. We don't know what that means, but
- 16:26Speaker 8: I will say as far as the docket goes, it's
- 16:28Speaker 8: a very different thing than how this played out in
- 16:31Speaker 8: the Eastern District of Virginia. When Comy was indicted there
- 16:34Speaker 8: on the perjury count. A summons was issued instead, So
- 16:37Speaker 8: that would be a direct missive to Komy to say
- 16:41Speaker 8: it's time to appear in court to face this charge
- 16:45Speaker 8: on said day. That's a bit of a different thing.
- 16:47Speaker 8: But Casey, this is a very fluid situation. Given that
- 16:50Speaker 8: we are just getting court documents in one at a time.
- 16:54Speaker 8: I am able to see the warrant request from the
- 16:57Speaker 8: Justice Department potentially escal things in a way that they
- 17:01Speaker 8: hadn't with the Eastern District of Virginia perjury case previously
- 17:06Speaker 8: against Komy that was dismissed. But I'm going to keep
- 17:10Speaker 8: watching here to see how else this plays out.
- 17:14Speaker 4: And again that is Caitlin Pollins, the legal analyst at CNN,
- 17:18Speaker 4: giving her analysis on this, and again, I'm pretty sure
- 17:21Speaker 4: if I had to bet on this, I would bet
- 17:24Speaker 4: that these guys, neither of them, these women are fans
- 17:27Speaker 4: of Eldrompeito, fans of the president. They're not maga people.
- 17:31Speaker 4: They're calling it the way they're calling it because those
- 17:33Speaker 4: are the facts, right, This is a real charge. Now
- 17:36Speaker 4: the question is will a jury of his peers agree.
- 17:40Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm never convinced on that. I do
- 17:43Speaker 4: truly feel, and I hope that I'm wrong. I hope
- 17:45Speaker 4: it's me being jaded. I hope it's me being stuck
- 17:48Speaker 4: in my own bubble that I believe that most Democrats
- 17:51Speaker 4: truly are above the law. They can do whatever they
- 17:54Speaker 4: want and nobody's going to touch them. Because we are
- 17:57Speaker 4: in a post vigilante society. We live in a place
- 18:03Speaker 4: where there is no accountability or very little accountability. Right,
- 18:07Speaker 4: people truly can amass a level of political power that
- 18:11Speaker 4: can get them multiple get out of jail for free cards.
- 18:15Speaker 4: I believe that to be true. I've seen it time
- 18:18Speaker 4: and again. Even if it looks like you're not right,
- 18:21Speaker 4: I'll give you an example the other day, I saw
- 18:25Speaker 4: a video, and again I don't know the adjudication of this.
- 18:29Speaker 4: I'm just speaking out of my rear end here, pure conjecture,
- 18:34Speaker 4: pure opinion, free speech. I saw a video of a
- 18:38Speaker 4: rapper's son and he's driving an expensive car and he
- 18:44Speaker 4: gets pulled over by the police. The police ask him,
- 18:49Speaker 4: you know whatever, and he says, hey, do me a
- 18:51Speaker 4: favorite get out of the car. And the kid says,
- 18:53Speaker 4: I don't feel safe getting out of the car. You're
- 18:55Speaker 4: pulling me over for what to tell me to get
- 18:58Speaker 4: out of the car. What's going on here? Now? I'm
- 19:00Speaker 4: going to tell you that I would likely feel the
- 19:02Speaker 4: same way. I know that you know the standard line
- 19:05Speaker 4: is just cooperate and everything will be I get that.
- 19:09Speaker 4: But I also understand that I'm a citizen of the
- 19:11Speaker 4: United States, and if you want to pull me over
- 19:13Speaker 4: and ask for my license and my paperwork, that's part
- 19:16Speaker 4: of how the deal works, right. I get to drive
- 19:17Speaker 4: on your roads, you get to pull me over getting
- 19:20Speaker 4: me out of the car. I'm old enough to know
- 19:23Speaker 4: that the minute you're asked to get out of the car,
- 19:25Speaker 4: you're going to jail. There might be a point one
- 19:29Speaker 4: percent chance that you're not going to jail, but you're
- 19:31Speaker 4: going to jail. It's just a process, right, It starts
- 19:35Speaker 4: all right, Just do me a favorite, Hang up by
- 19:37Speaker 4: the front of the car for me, do me a favorite.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Just hang out by the back of the car for me.
- 19:40Speaker 4: It's always do me a favor, right, It's always doing
- 19:42Speaker 4: the government to favor. And I'm super pro police. My
- 19:46Speaker 4: brothers are cops, are retired now from the NYPD. My
- 19:49Speaker 4: other brother retired from the NYPD, went on to be
- 19:51Speaker 4: a FED and he just retired from that. And I
- 19:53Speaker 4: volunteered with the police in Nutley, New Jersey as a
- 19:56Speaker 4: volunteer cop for a couple of years. I went to
- 19:59Speaker 4: the Police CA Academy and everything, albeit abbreviated. But my
- 20:02Speaker 4: point is I support the men and women in law enforcement.
- 20:05Speaker 4: I back the blue, but I support the constitution even more.
- 20:09Speaker 4: And sometimes and I know that this is in fact
- 20:12Speaker 4: a thing, at least in the state that I live in, in
- 20:14Speaker 4: New Jersey, some cops are constitutionally illiterate and they don't care.
- 20:19Speaker 4: They feel that they have the tools and the position
- 20:22Speaker 4: of authority, and that that authority supersedes your rights, and
- 20:26Speaker 4: that by them asking you to do them a favor
- 20:28Speaker 4: and do this and come over here and asking you
- 20:31Speaker 4: questions that you are not allowed to refuse, that you
- 20:35Speaker 4: are not allowed to exercise your rights. And I like
- 20:39Speaker 4: to exercise my rights because I don't like the government
- 20:42Speaker 4: knowing my business. I want you to know my business.
- 20:45Speaker 4: You want to know my business. Listen to my show anyway.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Bottom line is, I'm not here to give anybody a
- 20:49Speaker 4: hard time. But this guy says, look, and I thought
- 20:52Speaker 4: quite respectfully. The young man tells the copy. He's like, look,
- 20:55Speaker 4: I don't feel safe about this. I don't want to
- 20:57Speaker 4: get out of the car. And he's like, tell me
- 20:59Speaker 4: what's going on? Going on? So, after like four or
- 21:02Speaker 4: five requests, the cop says, I see there's a gun
- 21:05Speaker 4: on your dashboard, and I want to separate you from
- 21:09Speaker 4: that gun. I want you to get out the car.
- 21:12Speaker 4: So now this is where i'd say it goes sideways.
- 21:15Speaker 4: It's a licensed gun. The kid is rich, he has
- 21:17Speaker 4: a nice car, he's probably got a lot of jewelry on.
- 21:20Speaker 4: He wants to protect himself. He's in a state where
- 21:21Speaker 4: you can carry Nothing wrong with him having a gun.
- 21:25Speaker 4: But the cop felt uncomfortable. I get that too, I
- 21:28Speaker 4: totally get that. These things can escalate quickly, and that
- 21:30Speaker 4: cop wants to go home alive, and I support that.
- 21:33Speaker 4: So the young man at that point calls his lawyer,
- 21:39Speaker 4: gets the lawyer on FaceTime, and the lawyer says, listen,
- 21:42Speaker 4: if they're telling you to get out of the get
- 21:44Speaker 4: out of the car, that's it, you know what I mean.
- 21:46Speaker 4: We're at that point getting locked up. So he gets
- 21:49Speaker 4: locked up anyway. The rapper's dad, I mean the rapper dad, right,
- 21:53Speaker 4: because this is the son of a rapper. The rapper
- 21:55Speaker 4: dad shows up and he's like, is there any way
- 21:57Speaker 4: we could fix this? Did he explain to you that
- 21:59Speaker 4: he wasn't feeling safe? And at the end of the day,
- 22:01Speaker 4: I have to side on the side of the cop here, right,
- 22:04Speaker 4: I think the cop did everything right. Maybe he in
- 22:06Speaker 4: the beginning wasn't very clear. But bottom line here is
- 22:11Speaker 4: you don't get to get into this back and forth.
- 22:14Speaker 4: You can when you're within your rights, but when it's over,
- 22:19Speaker 4: it's over. And the question here is going to be
- 22:22Speaker 4: is it over for James Comy. I don't know if
- 22:24Speaker 4: it's going to be over for James Comy. I do
- 22:26Speaker 4: believe that in the case that I'm making here for
- 22:28Speaker 4: the rapper. That kid went to jail that night. So
- 22:31Speaker 4: for some justice was done, somehow we got a bad guy.
- 22:35Speaker 4: I don't know if this guy was speeding, if he
- 22:36Speaker 4: got pulled over for having tinted windows. I don't know
- 22:38Speaker 4: what they pulled this kid over for. But he didn't.
- 22:42Speaker 4: He didn't act as a criminal. Maybe he looked like
- 22:45Speaker 4: what that cop thought was a criminal, but he wasn't
- 22:47Speaker 4: doing anything that was a crime. It wasn't a crime
- 22:49Speaker 4: to have a gun. It wasn't a crime. It's not
- 22:51Speaker 4: even a crime to drive fast, right, it's a violation
- 22:53Speaker 4: of whatever the ordinances. So my bottom line here is
- 22:57Speaker 4: I'm not here to defend the criminal. I'm here to
- 22:59Speaker 4: defend what's right. And I would bet you my bottom
- 23:02Speaker 4: dollar that the influence and the power that this rapper
- 23:07Speaker 4: dad had likely got this kid off, right. He probably
- 23:10Speaker 4: got a great lawyer that has great connections and went
- 23:13Speaker 4: in there and said look, Mike, and rightfully so. But
- 23:16Speaker 4: I would say that if that were me, I'd probably
- 23:18Speaker 4: get in trouble for something, right, just like every other
- 23:20Speaker 4: time that I've been innocent and had gotten a ticket.
- 23:23Speaker 4: You know, I got a ticket once because there was
- 23:26Speaker 4: a leaf on a windy day. A leaf like attached
- 23:30Speaker 4: to a little tiny piece of a branch had gotten
- 23:32Speaker 4: stuck on my license plate. And you could see the
- 23:37Speaker 4: license plate and has six letters on it, and you
- 23:40Speaker 4: could see five of them, but the sixth one was
- 23:43Speaker 4: kind of covered with the leaf. I was pulled over
- 23:46Speaker 4: by the Port Authority police on the George Washington Bridge
- 23:50Speaker 4: going to work and this man through the loud speaker, driver,
- 23:56Speaker 4: put your hands out the window, take the keys out,
- 23:58Speaker 4: throw them on the roof. I never in my life
- 24:01Speaker 4: have been pulled over that way in the middle of
- 24:02Speaker 4: the day drive into work. I was so nervous. I
- 24:05Speaker 4: didn't understand the commands. I could barely hear what he
- 24:08Speaker 4: was yelling. He comes over barking up a storm, yelling
- 24:11Speaker 4: at me like I just killed somebody. And he's like,
- 24:14Speaker 4: I told you to put the keys on the roof.
- 24:15Speaker 4: What's wrong with you? You no hand on the gun?
- 24:17Speaker 4: All that stuff that they do. And I was just like,
- 24:21Speaker 4: what is going on here? Like what did I do?
- 24:23Speaker 4: Was I speeding? Like what is your beef? And he
- 24:26Speaker 4: tells me, oh, you always drive around with your license
- 24:28Speaker 4: plate covered up. I was like, I don't even know
- 24:30Speaker 4: what you're talking about anyway. Do you think I got
- 24:33Speaker 4: a warning? Nope? I got a ticket for obstructing government property.
- 24:39Speaker 4: Apparently your license plate is government property. I also got
- 24:44Speaker 4: a ticket for toll evasion. And I said, what told
- 24:49Speaker 4: did I evade? I have an easy pass. I went
- 24:52Speaker 4: through the easy pass. The easy pass pays the easy pass.
- 24:55Speaker 4: He's like, you have a receipt. I said, it's easy passed,
- 24:57Speaker 4: it's online. He's like, all right, then prove it when
- 25:00Speaker 4: you go to court. So just imagine that they charged
- 25:02Speaker 4: me with this. I had to prove that I did
- 25:05Speaker 4: not commit any infraction for no reason. Right. You think
- 25:10Speaker 4: I got out of that place scott free, even though
- 25:12Speaker 4: I was completely innocent of anything. Nope. The prosecutor when
- 25:17Speaker 4: I went to court said, oh, I showed him the
- 25:19Speaker 4: easy pass. He's like, all right, we'll get rid of
- 25:21Speaker 4: the toll evasion, but you're going to get the plate
- 25:24Speaker 4: or the vice versa. He's like, you got it. One
- 25:25Speaker 4: of these tickets you're going to get and court cost
- 25:29Speaker 4: of thirty five dollars or fifty dollars or something like that.
- 25:31Speaker 4: And I thought to myself, because the wind deposited a
- 25:38Speaker 4: leaf on my car that I didn't realize on my
- 25:40Speaker 4: back license plate front license plate was not obstructed anyway,
- 25:44Speaker 4: and I live in a state where you have to
- 25:46Speaker 4: have two license plates. I ended up paying a ticket
- 25:50Speaker 4: for something I didn't do. I was found guilty of
- 25:53Speaker 4: this infraction of whichever one it was, either obstructing government property,
- 25:57Speaker 4: which was covering the plate because the plate technically below
- 26:00Speaker 4: belongs to the state, so that's the government property, or whatever.
- 26:04Speaker 4: The other charge was total evasion. I thought I was respectful.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Was I scared? Definitely? Did he think I was uncooperative?
- 26:13Speaker 4: Probably because I couldn't hear him yelling at me through
- 26:15Speaker 4: the loud speaker, Because he didn't pull me over like
- 26:17Speaker 4: a normal person, and pulled me over on the Washington Bridge,
- 26:21Speaker 4: like on the actual bridge, like didn't even wait for
- 26:23Speaker 4: me to get off or into a shoulder or anything
- 26:26Speaker 4: like in the actual lane. The whole thing was wild.
- 26:29Speaker 4: And I bring all that up to say there are
- 26:31Speaker 4: times where police can be unreasonable. And I'm so off
- 26:34Speaker 4: topic here, but hopefully it was an interesting story for you.
- 26:37Speaker 4: They threw the book at me, right. I ended up
- 26:39Speaker 4: having to pay at least one of those two tickets,
- 26:41Speaker 4: even though in my opinion, I did nothing wrong, and
- 26:44Speaker 4: this kid, I would bet you, And maybe I'll do
- 26:47Speaker 4: some research and find out if I'm right or wrong.
- 26:48Speaker 4: But I'm sure he's going to get off. Even if
- 26:51Speaker 4: he went to jail that day. I'm sure there's no charge,
- 26:53Speaker 4: there's no record. I'm sure everything will be wipe clean
- 26:56Speaker 4: because in fact, I'd say he did nothing wrong either
- 26:58Speaker 4: other than maybe not get out of the when he
- 27:00Speaker 4: was asked to. But did he have to get out
- 27:03Speaker 4: of the car right? Was it an absolute imperative? I
- 27:08Speaker 4: don't know. I don't know the law in that state,
- 27:09Speaker 4: but to me, it sounds like are you pulling out
- 27:13Speaker 4: every single person that has a gun in their car?
- 27:16Speaker 4: And I understand some people will have their gun on
- 27:18Speaker 4: their hip and they'll say, hey, yeah, you know it's
- 27:20Speaker 4: a constitutional carry state. I have a gun on my
- 27:23Speaker 4: right hip and the three o'clock position. What's going on?
- 27:27Speaker 4: How can I help you? You could do that. This
- 27:29Speaker 4: guy's gun was in plain view and his hands were
- 27:31Speaker 4: on the steering wheel.
- 27:32Speaker 3: So again, I think the argument can benate both ways.
- 27:35Speaker 4: But my point is his dad's power and influence I
- 27:39Speaker 4: would bet got him out now. If that's going to
- 27:42Speaker 4: happen with a rapper and his son and somebody who
- 27:46Speaker 4: has money. Imagine what happens when your James call me
- 27:48Speaker 4: the former director of the FBI. When you are connected
- 27:51Speaker 4: to a deep state apparatus, and I use the term
- 27:54Speaker 4: deep state, I don't want to lose anybody, but I'll
- 27:57Speaker 4: say it in a more polished term, the administrative state. Right,
- 28:01Speaker 4: when you are connected to many career people apparatics in
- 28:06Speaker 4: the federal government may be retired. What do you think
- 28:09Speaker 4: FBI guys do when they retire. Do they cut their
- 28:11Speaker 4: grass and just go to the yard and grill, or
- 28:13Speaker 4: do they go and take very high powered positions in
- 28:15Speaker 4: different places? Right? Many of them are lawyers, so they
- 28:18Speaker 4: go and they start practicing law. Many of them become
- 28:22Speaker 4: as lawyers. They go on to be judges, they go
- 28:24Speaker 4: on to be you know, all sorts of different things.
- 28:28Speaker 4: When you're a former director, I'm sure you make some
- 28:29Speaker 4: enemies along the way, but I'm pretty sure you make
- 28:31Speaker 4: a lot of friends along the way too, especially when
- 28:33Speaker 4: you were the FBI director. And like many FBI directors,
- 28:36Speaker 4: you have to work with the media. So you make
- 28:38Speaker 4: friends in the media that you know, you leak to
- 28:40Speaker 4: over the years, and when it's your turn now you
- 28:42Speaker 4: get the media come into your defense saying, well, how
- 28:45Speaker 4: do you intend to prove intent? And that's the point
- 28:48Speaker 4: I'm making. So I am not extraordinarily confident that James
- 28:51Speaker 4: Comby is going to be found guilty on this stuff.
- 28:54Speaker 4: I hope I'm wrong. I really do. I hope that
- 28:58Speaker 4: I am dead wrong, because I would love to see
- 29:00Speaker 4: some accountability here, but mainly not because of an instagram
- 29:04Speaker 4: that' say eighty six forty seven, but because he actually
- 29:08Speaker 4: tried to usurp the authority of a sitting president of
- 29:11Speaker 4: the United States, and prior to that, he actively engaged
- 29:15Speaker 4: in using the power of his office in a way
- 29:18Speaker 4: that was, I'm going to say, not not lawful. When
- 29:22Speaker 4: he did the whole memo for Hillary Clinton saying I
- 29:25Speaker 4: think Hillary and yeah, he swayed it in my opinion
- 29:28Speaker 4: for Trump. And I'm not saying I didn't want Trump
- 29:30Speaker 4: to win. I did. But I still think what James
- 29:33Speaker 4: Gomi did was wrong. What FBI director gets to go
- 29:35Speaker 4: and play, you know, judge, jury executioner, all that he's
- 29:39Speaker 4: not the ag He doesn't determine what happens. If he
- 29:43Speaker 4: thinks there's a crime he should call his version of
- 29:45Speaker 4: Todd Blanche at the time of Loretta Lynch, and he
- 29:48Speaker 4: should have said, hey, look, I think this is what's
- 29:49Speaker 4: going on Hillary Clinton. But instead he took it upon
- 29:51Speaker 4: himself to hold a major press conference and read this
- 29:54Speaker 4: famous memo of his saying I think what she did
- 29:57Speaker 4: was stupid and incompetent and whatever other words he used.
- 30:01Speaker 4: But ultimately he says, but I don't think there's a
- 30:03Speaker 4: crime here, so take care. That's it. I don't think
- 30:05Speaker 4: it works that way, sir. Bottom line, I don't know
- 30:07Speaker 4: what happens here with Comy. I hope we get some
- 30:09Speaker 4: poetic justice. I'm just not holding my breath anyway. I
- 30:13Speaker 4: was a little long winded there, but we're coming back.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Guess who's in town?
- 30:16Speaker 9: Elray, El Ray joins El Trumpito done all this, magnus,
- 30:21Speaker 9: the forty fifth to forty seventh president of these United States,
- 30:24Speaker 9: who's ruffling all sorts of feathers for the British crown,
- 30:28Speaker 9: King Charles visiting, giving an address in Congress, and then
- 30:31Speaker 9: a little bit later he goes over to the White House.
- 30:34Speaker 4: We're gonna bring you that as that happens, don't go anywhere.
- 30:37Speaker 4: I'm rich Faldes.
- 30:39Speaker 2: This is America. This is America.
- 30:56Speaker 4: The forty fifth President Donald Trump thinks it's an honor
- 31:00Speaker 4: to speak with Rich Valdez.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Oh, very good, bug and honor, thanks Rich.
- 31:06Speaker 4: The honor is all yours. Conservative talk with a dash
- 31:12Speaker 4: of sofrito.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Now here's Rich Valdez.
- 31:15Speaker 4: All right, and it goes, welcome back, Rich Valdez, keeping
- 31:18Speaker 4: your company tonight. And King Charles sending on Washington, d C. Today,
- 31:25Speaker 4: the King making his triumphant entrance and saying a lot
- 31:30Speaker 4: of things, a lot of things. I got a lot
- 31:32Speaker 4: of clips for you. I want you to work with me,
- 31:33Speaker 4: bear with me, have some patience, because this is stuff
- 31:36Speaker 4: that I think you need to hear. There was a
- 31:38Speaker 4: lot said earlier in the day in the White House,
- 31:41Speaker 4: Rose Garden and all that stuff as the President received
- 31:44Speaker 4: the King. But the dinner that's about to go down
- 31:47Speaker 4: right now. So we're gonna bring you that live as
- 31:49Speaker 4: soon as we get the heads up that that's about
- 31:52Speaker 4: to go down, and we'll bring you those remarks as well.
- 31:55Speaker 4: But I want to start off with that, and I
- 31:56Speaker 4: also want to just quick caveat here. I want to
- 31:59Speaker 4: say that in the last segment I meant to mention
- 32:02Speaker 4: that doctor Fauci's top advisor has been indicted. Now I
- 32:07Speaker 4: don't know if that is you know, most people think,
- 32:09Speaker 4: oh good, they get the top guy. Then the top
- 32:11Speaker 4: guy rolls on him, and then we take down Fauci.
- 32:15Speaker 4: Wishful thinking again back to my theory that there's no accountability.
- 32:19Speaker 4: This is likely this guy getting his slap on the
- 32:21Speaker 4: wrist the appearance of accountability, and that's the best that
- 32:24Speaker 4: we can do. Again my thinking, you know me, we
- 32:27Speaker 4: see the glasses half empty when it comes to this stuff.
- 32:29Speaker 4: But I just wanted to put that out there before
- 32:31Speaker 4: I jump into the king and his visit to the
- 32:33Speaker 4: United States. What it means. Is it really all about
- 32:36Speaker 4: the two hundred and fiftieth anniversary of America's independence? Or
- 32:40Speaker 4: is there more to it? Is this about the king
- 32:43Speaker 4: losing some of his strategic advantage over different countries? Is
- 32:47Speaker 4: this the king pandering to the Muslim nations to make
- 32:52Speaker 4: the UK the biggest Muslim nation in Europe? Is that
- 32:57Speaker 4: his power play. There's a lot of things going on here,
- 33:00Speaker 4: the things that he says, the things that Trump says.
- 33:02Speaker 4: I'll give you my best estimation of the tea leaves,
- 33:06Speaker 4: But to me, it just seems Trump is changing the
- 33:08Speaker 4: world order. He just truly is. He is making things different.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Some people think that is chaotic and catastrophic and horrible,
- 33:15Speaker 4: And in many ways I could understand why they see that,
- 33:19Speaker 4: because they're used to things the way they are. Right.
- 33:22Speaker 4: Imagine you are living comfortably and you are ripped from
- 33:27Speaker 4: your home only to end up in a nicer home
- 33:31Speaker 4: and a better situation, a better income. But you don't
- 33:34Speaker 4: know that, and because you don't know it, you don't
- 33:37Speaker 4: see what the future has. You want to hold on
- 33:40Speaker 4: to what you currently have. And in many ways, politics
- 33:42Speaker 4: is the same way. And I think King Charles is
- 33:44Speaker 4: holding on to his power and trying to keep power
- 33:47Speaker 4: in the British Empire. But a Trumpito's doing the same
- 33:51Speaker 4: exact thing, and it seems like he's winning in my opinion.
- 33:54Speaker 4: But the King came, he gave an address to Congress.
- 33:57Speaker 4: I have a couple of key clips on and that.
- 34:00Speaker 4: The first thing that happened, of course, was the President
- 34:02Speaker 4: welcoming the King outside the White House Milania decked out
- 34:06Speaker 4: in a beautiful white outfit with a white hat. So
- 34:09Speaker 4: the white hats are here representing the United States. And
- 34:13Speaker 4: here's what President Trump had to say to the King
- 34:16Speaker 4: as he arrived outside the White House, Listen to this.
- 34:21Speaker 10: Mother had a crush on Charles. Can you believe it?
- 34:24Speaker 4: My mother?
- 34:27Speaker 10: I just see it so clearly. She loved that. I
- 34:31Speaker 10: told the King this. She loved the royal family, and
- 34:35Speaker 10: she loved the Queen. And anytime the Queen was involved
- 34:42Speaker 10: in a ceremony or anything, my mother would be glued
- 34:46Speaker 10: to the television and she'd say, look, Donald, look how
- 34:51Speaker 10: beautiful that is. She really did love the family. But
- 34:55Speaker 10: I also remember her saying, very clearly, Charles, look, young Charles,
- 35:04Speaker 10: he's so cute.
- 35:07Speaker 3: My mother.
- 35:09Speaker 10: My mother had a crush on Charles. Can you believe it? Amazing?
- 35:14Speaker 10: How I wonder what she's thinking right now.
- 35:19Speaker 4: You know what's funny is that President Trump and King
- 35:24Speaker 4: Charles are fifteenth cousins. I bet you didn't know that, right.
- 35:30Speaker 4: It's a distant relation. This came out a little while ago.
- 35:32Speaker 4: To be precise, they share a common ancestor in the
- 35:35Speaker 4: third Earl of Lennox John Stuart Stuart. This lineage reported
- 35:41Speaker 4: by the Daily Beast of all places. But it's from
- 35:46Speaker 4: Trump's Scottish ancestry, from his mother's side, and it's a
- 35:50Speaker 4: distant relation. The connection is traced back to King James
- 35:54Speaker 4: the second of Scotland, making them distant relatives rather than
- 35:57Speaker 4: part of the same immediate royal family. And Trump jokingly
- 36:01Speaker 4: referenced this saying, you know, hey, maybe one day he'll
- 36:05Speaker 4: live in Buckingham Palace, which is pretty funny. And this
- 36:09Speaker 4: is again one of those things that he tweeted out
- 36:12Speaker 4: this evening from his Team Trump account. So the Trump
- 36:16Speaker 4: team tweeting it out that he is in fact the
- 36:20Speaker 4: fifteenth cousin to King Charles, which is pretty funny, right.
- 36:24Speaker 4: So Trump I think making himself a royal through this genealogy,
- 36:27Speaker 4: that he's his newfound genealogy. Just to really to get
- 36:31Speaker 4: at King Charles anyway, elray Carlos, King Charles. He addressed Congress,
- 36:38Speaker 4: just like many foreign dignitaries that are invited to the
- 36:42Speaker 4: United States get to address a joint session of Congress.
- 36:46Speaker 4: And I have a couple of clips of what he
- 36:48Speaker 4: had to say in his address, with of course the
- 36:51Speaker 4: Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, President right behind him,
- 36:54Speaker 4: and Vice President JD. Vance. This is one of a
- 36:57Speaker 4: couple of clips I'm going to play that I thought
- 36:58Speaker 4: were interesting.
- 36:59Speaker 11: Check this out President, mister speaker, members of Congress, representatives
- 37:06Speaker 11: of the American people across all states, territories, cities, and communities.
- 37:13Speaker 3: I just want to say, he makes me want to
- 37:15Speaker 3: talk like him and say things like territory and community,
- 37:19Speaker 3: and it so sophisticated his British vernacular in his accent.
- 37:25Speaker 3: I don't know if I do it well, but JA,
- 37:27Speaker 3: I'm enjoying doing it here on this microphone. Okay, we
- 37:30Speaker 3: shall continue.
- 37:31Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 37:34Speaker 11: I would like if I meant to take this opportunity
- 37:36Speaker 11: to express my particular gratitude to you all for the
- 37:41Speaker 11: great honor of addressing this joint meeting of Congress, and
- 37:46Speaker 11: on behalf of the Queen and myself to thank the
- 37:50Speaker 11: American people for welcoming as us to the United States
- 37:55Speaker 11: to mark this semi quin centennial year of the Declaration
- 38:00Speaker 11: of Independence.
- 38:01Speaker 3: Semi queinstenial and and independence. And sorry I had to
- 38:07Speaker 3: do that. I just had to go.
- 38:10Speaker 2: And for all of that time.
- 38:14Speaker 3: We'll delayed applied then, you know, Quinn Chin, you guess
- 38:22Speaker 3: it's stand the nation. We just had been it for
- 38:26Speaker 3: five minutes. But they're applying ourgacy, American our dependence, and
- 38:31Speaker 3: it's both above sided.
- 38:33Speaker 4: Out, which is nice.
- 38:40Speaker 11: And for all of that time, our destinies as nations
- 38:45Speaker 11: have been interlinked. As Oscar Wilde said, we have really
- 38:50Speaker 11: everything in common with America nowadays, except of course language.
- 38:57Speaker 11: Of course, so that we meet in times of great uncertainty,
- 39:06Speaker 11: in times of conflict from Europe to the Middle East,
- 39:11Speaker 11: which pose immense challenges for the international community, and whose
- 39:16Speaker 11: impact is felt in communities the length and breadth of
- 39:20Speaker 11: our own countries.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Before he continues, I just want to translate that what
- 39:24Speaker 4: I hear him saying, and.
- 39:24Speaker 3: I don't mean to translate in his own voice. Maybe
- 39:27Speaker 3: I'll do the rest of the segment in my King
- 39:29Speaker 3: Charles Imbrussian. But I think what he's really saying is
- 39:33Speaker 3: here is that the UK, the British Empire, has loose,
- 39:37Speaker 3: has lost some power, and as we are losing power,
- 39:40Speaker 3: we want to reconcile some of that power by making
- 39:43Speaker 3: a deal with the United States before I have to
- 39:46Speaker 3: make an even bigger deal with the devil, meaning I
- 39:50Speaker 3: will do whatever I have to do. If these are
- 39:52Speaker 3: the radical crazies that are taking over the rest of Europe,
- 39:55Speaker 3: I will concentrate them in the UK and I will
- 39:58Speaker 3: use them as my own person a law me because
- 40:01Speaker 3: you are getting in the way of the King's business.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Do you understand what I'm saying, mister President, right, And
- 40:08Speaker 3: he's trying to negotiate here from a position of power.
- 40:11Speaker 4: The problem is he doesn't really have this hard power,
- 40:14Speaker 4: which of course I mean the Royal Navy is still
- 40:16Speaker 4: a thing, and he has that type of power, and
- 40:19Speaker 4: he's a monarch. He's not Keir Starmer. But many would
- 40:22Speaker 4: suggest that here Starmer, the Prime Minister of England, is
- 40:25Speaker 4: nothing more than a figurehead of the monarchy's power. And
- 40:29Speaker 4: I'd be one of those people, right, I'd say he
- 40:31Speaker 4: is just that he's not a maverick, he's not an outsider. Right.
- 40:35Speaker 4: In many ways, I'd say, like Obama, Obama was a figurehead,
- 40:38Speaker 4: and Biden the same way for the power of the
- 40:42Speaker 4: Administrative State for America and all of its dealings, in
- 40:46Speaker 4: the dealings that it does, like all the dealings we
- 40:48Speaker 4: did with Ukraine, all the money we're transferring all over
- 40:50Speaker 4: the place. Everybody's getting rich off of the taxpayer dollar
- 40:54Speaker 4: and the printing of our cash and devaluing of our
- 40:56Speaker 4: own currency. And President Trump says, no, no, let's make money. Differently,
- 41:01Speaker 4: Let's bolster our military, let us get paid for the
- 41:05Speaker 4: security that we're providing to our quote unquote allies and friends,
- 41:09Speaker 4: and let us dominate the world in terms of resources,
- 41:12Speaker 4: natural resources and things that are necessary for technology and
- 41:16Speaker 4: for energy production. And I think Trump's onto something. I
- 41:19Speaker 4: think he's on the right track. King Charles clearly sees
- 41:22Speaker 4: what Trump is doing and is saying, hey, look, we
- 41:24Speaker 4: need to shore this up. Remember, hey, Bud, we're pals.
- 41:27Speaker 4: Of course, we're old friends.
- 41:28Speaker 3: We're not We're not just our allies and colleagues, but
- 41:32Speaker 3: we are cousins.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Of course, all right, play to take.
- 41:35Speaker 11: We meet too, in the aftermath of the incident, not
- 41:40Speaker 11: far from this great building that sought to harm the
- 41:43Speaker 11: leadership of your nation and to ferment wider fear and discord,
- 41:50Speaker 11: let me say, with unshakable resolve, such acts of violence
- 41:56Speaker 11: will never succeed.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Here here. I'm not going to play the whole speech,
- 42:10Speaker 4: but I have a public clips that I think you
- 42:12Speaker 4: want to hear. They're just a little bit slow because
- 42:15Speaker 4: of all this. Who's kind of slow.
- 42:19Speaker 11: Whatever our differences, whatever disagreements we may have, we stand
- 42:25Speaker 11: united in our commitment to uphold democracy, to protect all
- 42:31Speaker 11: our people, from harm and to salute the courage of
- 42:35Speaker 11: those who daily risk their lives in the service of
- 42:39Speaker 11: our countries.
- 42:40Speaker 4: Presidents to speaking of King Charles, thank you. And again,
- 42:45Speaker 4: I don't want to bo you. I don't want to
- 42:46Speaker 4: be labor this too much, but there are a number
- 42:49Speaker 4: of things that the King said that I think are
- 42:54Speaker 4: worthy of listening to. In this clip, he continues, and
- 43:02Speaker 4: it's conciliatory, but yet smuck. And that's really what I'm
- 43:05Speaker 4: trying to convey here. Listen to this.
- 43:08Speaker 11: It is extraordinary to think that I am the nineteenth
- 43:12Speaker 11: in our line of sovereigns to study with daily attention
- 43:17Speaker 11: the affairs of America. This is a city which symbolizes
- 43:21Speaker 11: a period in our shared history, or what Charles Dickens
- 43:25Speaker 11: might have called a tale of two Georges.
- 43:31Speaker 4: That was pretty funny.
- 43:41Speaker 11: The first President, George Washington and my five times great grandfather,
- 43:45Speaker 11: King George. The third King George, as you know, never
- 43:49Speaker 11: set foot in America. And please rest assured, I am
- 43:55Speaker 11: not here as part of some cunning rear guard action.
- 44:02Speaker 11: The founding fathers were bold and imaginative rebels with a
- 44:07Speaker 11: cause two hundred.
- 44:13Speaker 4: It is extraordinary rebels with a cause. Rebels with the cause.
- 44:18Speaker 4: And I think that that is a great clip, right,
- 44:23Speaker 4: a great clip because he's acknowledging right, Hey, look, you
- 44:27Speaker 4: guys spanked us two hundred and fifty years ago, the
- 44:31Speaker 4: crown of the world, right, the British Empire. You spanked us,
- 44:35Speaker 4: and you became the new big guy on the block.
- 44:38Speaker 4: We still have the Crown Jewels, we still pretend to
- 44:41Speaker 4: have the power and the pomp and circumstance. And in
- 44:43Speaker 4: many ways they've held onto a lot of power globally, right,
- 44:46Speaker 4: They've got a lot of money, they've got a lot
- 44:48Speaker 4: of power, and they've made peace with the United States
- 44:51Speaker 4: so that we can always do things the same way.
- 44:54Speaker 4: In my opinion, that we work with Israel. Israel, I
- 44:56Speaker 4: would say, is a product of the United States and
- 44:58Speaker 4: maybe of the English right because they did put forth
- 45:02Speaker 4: the Balfort Accords, and Israel exists on his face, yes,
- 45:06Speaker 4: to be the Jewish state. I agree with that, But
- 45:09Speaker 4: I think in many ways Israel is the place where
- 45:12Speaker 4: we test our weapons. Israel is the place where we
- 45:15Speaker 4: test new technologies, and Israel is the place where those guys,
- 45:18Speaker 4: the IDF they're fighting our battles. When we see something
- 45:23Speaker 4: getting out of line that can potentially harm our nation
- 45:26Speaker 4: or the global order that would affect us. We step
- 45:30Speaker 4: in and we nudge them to do what they've got
- 45:33Speaker 4: to do. And everybody that suggests the other way around,
- 45:37Speaker 4: it just doesn't make sense in the dynamic of the power.
- 45:40Speaker 4: They are a very small country. Any power that they have,
- 45:43Speaker 4: I'd say, is because of their ingenuity, and because of
- 45:45Speaker 4: their tenacity and hard work, and because of the strife
- 45:47Speaker 4: that they've gone through, and they're trying to protect what
- 45:49Speaker 4: they have. But in large part it's because we have
- 45:52Speaker 4: paved the way. We have enabled them with a lot
- 45:54Speaker 4: of funding, with a lot of weapons, with a lot
- 45:56Speaker 4: of open doors. And it's not that they're forcing us
- 46:00Speaker 4: to open those doors. It's that it behooves us to
- 46:02Speaker 4: open those doors. And that's the essence of a good ally,
- 46:05Speaker 4: of a good alliance, I should say. But I'm going
- 46:08Speaker 4: to leave you with this final clip from this particular
- 46:11Speaker 4: joint session of Congress with King George, you know, standing
- 46:15Speaker 4: in front of JD. Vance and Speaker Johnson, who were
- 46:19Speaker 4: seated behind him, with his closing remarks about the alliance.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Before we get to further remarks from President Trump and
- 46:28Speaker 4: King Charles at their state dinner tonight.
- 46:32Speaker 11: Story of the United Kingdom and the United States is
- 46:36Speaker 11: at his heart, a story of reconciliation, renewal, and remarkable partnership.
- 46:44Speaker 11: From the bitter divisions of two hundred and fifty years ago,
- 46:48Speaker 11: we forged a friendship that has grown into one of
- 46:52Speaker 11: the most consequential alliances in human history. I pray with
- 46:57Speaker 11: all my heart who continue to defend our shared.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Values again, shared values? Right now, what I hear is
- 47:08Speaker 4: we got.
- 47:09Speaker 3: Along so well with Barack Obama and with Joe Biden,
- 47:13Speaker 3: and continuing the global order, with the British Crown dominating
- 47:18Speaker 3: so much of what we have dominated for several centuries.
- 47:22Speaker 3: And now we have this Orange man bad that is
- 47:25Speaker 3: getting in the way doing exactly what we do, amassing
- 47:29Speaker 3: power for his own empire, the American Empire, and we
- 47:33Speaker 3: don't like it. There's god to be a way that
- 47:35Speaker 3: we can make a deal to coexist with one another.
- 47:39Speaker 4: And I haven't practiced this accent, by the way, but
- 47:42Speaker 4: I'm stuck in it now, so you might have to
- 47:44Speaker 4: deal with it for the rest of the show, or
- 47:45Speaker 4: at least the rest of the segment. But when he
- 47:47Speaker 4: says shared values in this alliance and reconsolution. To me,
- 47:51Speaker 4: that's all flowery language to say, look, let's be friends,
- 47:54Speaker 4: let's not you know, stop you're interfering with my cash
- 47:57Speaker 4: flow here.
- 47:59Speaker 11: With our partners in Europe and the Commonwealth and across
- 48:03Speaker 11: the world. And and that we ignore the clarion calls
- 48:14Speaker 11: to become ever more inward looking, mister speaker.
- 48:19Speaker 3: We ignore the clarion calls to become ever more inward looking.
- 48:24Speaker 4: He's saying, ignore America first, and he could also be
- 48:29Speaker 4: saying ignore isolationism. Right the people that say America only,
- 48:35Speaker 4: and in that I agree, I agree with the United States
- 48:37Speaker 4: has to be a global player. I'm going to up
- 48:41Speaker 4: that ante and say the United States has to be
- 48:44Speaker 4: the global player. Why my own American arrogance. I believe
- 48:49Speaker 4: that if somebody is going to hold the keys to
- 48:52Speaker 4: the Kingdom, it'd better be a suitable American president. Why
- 48:57Speaker 4: because I don't trust anybody else, and I barely trust
- 49:01Speaker 4: the American presidents that we have. And I'm not referring
- 49:04Speaker 4: to Trump per se. I'm saying the United States needs
- 49:07Speaker 4: to be in the driver's seat. Joe Biden advocated this role.
- 49:11Speaker 4: Barack Obama just played ball with the Crown and everyone else,
- 49:14Speaker 4: including Iran. And as long as everybody makes you know,
- 49:18Speaker 4: it's kind of like honor amongst thieves. As long as
- 49:21Speaker 4: everybody's getting by, we're good. Trump says, uh uh, hell no,
- 49:26Speaker 4: we're not doing it like that, my friend. Here's what
- 49:28Speaker 4: we're gonna do. Chuck, Can I call you Chuck? Do
- 49:30Speaker 4: you mind if I call you Chuck? Chuckie King, Charles, Charlie. Baby, listen,
- 49:35Speaker 4: here's how it's gonna be Fellas. What we're gonna do
- 49:38Speaker 4: here is we're gonna be in charge. We're gonna have
- 49:40Speaker 4: all the energy. If you need step, we're gonna cut
- 49:42Speaker 4: out Iran. We're gonna go cut you out too, if
- 49:44Speaker 4: you don't get fresh. And we're gonna we're gonna run
- 49:47Speaker 4: this show. And everybody's gonna come to us because a
- 49:50Speaker 4: new sheriff in town. His name is the dun El
- 49:52Speaker 4: don El Trompeto. And you listen, call it gangster, call
- 49:55Speaker 4: it what you want. I call it rugged Americanism. You
- 49:58Speaker 4: can call it colonialists, you can call it imperialism, you
- 50:01Speaker 4: can call it authoritarian. To call it whatever you want.
- 50:03Speaker 4: I call it dominating the free market, the free market
- 50:07Speaker 4: actually working. I call it American exceptionalism. I call it
- 50:11Speaker 4: putting my country first, America first, and I'm not ashamed
- 50:14Speaker 4: of that. Go right ahead, King Charles.
- 50:18Speaker 11: Mister Vice President, distinguish, ladies and gentlemen. America's words carry
- 50:25Speaker 11: weight and meaning, as they have since independence.
- 50:30Speaker 4: When we spend actions.
- 50:32Speaker 11: Of this great nation matter even more. President Lincoln understood
- 50:38Speaker 11: this so well with his reflection in the Magisterial Gettysburg
- 50:42Speaker 11: Address that the world may little note what we say,
- 50:48Speaker 11: but we'll never forget what do we do. And so
- 50:53Speaker 11: to the United States of America, on your two hundred
- 50:56Speaker 11: and fiftieth birthday, that our two countries rededicate ourselves to
- 51:03Speaker 11: each other in the selfless service of our peoples and.
- 51:08Speaker 4: Of all the peoples of the world.
- 51:12Speaker 11: God bless the United States, and God bless the United Kingdom.
- 51:16Speaker 4: All right, That was King Charles, and I thought it
- 51:19Speaker 4: was an interesting speech. He at the end acknowledges that
- 51:23Speaker 4: he's not holding the cards, and he says, I hope
- 51:26Speaker 4: that we can have the partnership we once had, because
- 51:28Speaker 4: he views it as look, this is where we need
- 51:30Speaker 4: to be. But he acknowledges, look, you guys are holding
- 51:34Speaker 4: the cards. Ed Trompito is the man, and I got
- 51:39Speaker 4: to tell you for the sake of optics. And I
- 51:41Speaker 4: know Trump uses us their advantage all the time, and
- 51:43Speaker 4: God bless him for it. He knows that he is
- 51:47Speaker 4: a big man, like physically in stature, you know, six
- 51:50Speaker 4: foot two, six foot three. He towers over King Charles.
- 51:53Speaker 4: He has this statuesque model wife, Milania, who towers over
- 51:59Speaker 4: the the Queen. And when you see them make their entrance,
- 52:05Speaker 4: I think it's just it's just so telling, right. It
- 52:09Speaker 4: sends a message. And I love it when he does
- 52:11Speaker 4: I love it when he does it to putin you know,
- 52:13Speaker 4: I don't know if there should be a height requirement
- 52:15Speaker 4: for president because that would preclude me at five foot
- 52:18Speaker 4: eight inches, a whopping five foot eight, but I will
- 52:21Speaker 4: say it just is a thing. It is a thing
- 52:26Speaker 4: when you walk into a room and people can see
- 52:28Speaker 4: you literally head and shoulders above your rivals. And I
- 52:32Speaker 4: want to tap into Newsmax over here because they are
- 52:37Speaker 4: holding court over here as we await the arrival of
- 52:40Speaker 4: President Trump and the King of England for the White
- 52:46Speaker 4: House State Dinner, which is going to happen right now.
- 52:49Speaker 12: We're back out live at the White House now and
- 52:52Speaker 12: the President and first lady coming down the steps for
- 52:55Speaker 12: the big state dinner, the music playing. There's the King
- 52:58Speaker 12: and Queen coming in right behind him. I have a
- 53:01Speaker 12: little moment here and just kind of watch this play
- 53:04Speaker 12: out for a second. I have to say they look spectacular.
- 53:08Speaker 12: I can't even fathom how much the Queen's jewels costs,
- 53:12Speaker 12: which you can see around her neck a longer ears.
- 53:15Speaker 12: The King looks very dapper as well. The President looks great,
- 53:18Speaker 12: much taller Millennia, much taller. Kind of funny there, Let's
- 53:22Speaker 12: take this in for a moment.
- 53:23Speaker 4: Listen to music. It's a stark difference.
- 53:45Speaker 13: You've got the Queen of England, the King of Land,
- 53:48Speaker 13: President Chimburn Millennial standing there taking photos, posing for the canvas,
- 53:54Speaker 13: and making their way over to their table.
- 53:59Speaker 3: And say, I mean, this is about as American royal
- 54:04Speaker 3: as it gets, right, the Marines and Colored Guard.
- 54:08Speaker 4: And all sorts of pop standing erotics. Quite the event,
- 54:12Speaker 4: Quite the thing.
- 54:13Speaker 3: Now, in a moment, we'll bring you President Trump's remarks
- 54:16Speaker 3: as he makes his way over to the podium to
- 54:19Speaker 3: introduce the King and the state dinner, and of course
- 54:25Speaker 3: King Charles will also make some remarks, and then I'll
- 54:27Speaker 3: give you a couple more of my remarks and then
- 54:29Speaker 3: we'll move on to some of the other topics that
- 54:31Speaker 3: I have.
- 54:32Speaker 4: But I wanted to give you a deep dive on
- 54:33Speaker 4: this because I know you're not going to get it everywhere,
- 54:35Speaker 4: and if you missed a lot of this while it
- 54:37Speaker 4: was happening, if you're listening to this later on the podcast,
- 54:41Speaker 4: which many of you will because nobody's listening live but
- 54:43Speaker 4: me and my producer, the task of having to listen
- 54:49Speaker 4: to all of this and get to the meat and
- 54:52Speaker 4: potatoes of it is done by me. All right. We've
- 54:55Speaker 4: done all the heavy lifting for you, so you only
- 54:57Speaker 4: get to hear the necessary parts of it. But I
- 55:00Speaker 4: am told we now have a clip of the President
- 55:03Speaker 4: Trump making his address, and I want to go to
- 55:06Speaker 4: that right now. Let's go for it.
- 55:08Speaker 10: Congratulate Charles on having made a fantastic speech today at Congress.
- 55:15Speaker 10: He got the Democrats to sand I've never been able
- 55:17Speaker 10: to do that.
- 55:19Speaker 4: I couldn't believe it.
- 55:22Speaker 10: I couldn't believe it. They liked him more than they've
- 55:26Speaker 10: ever liked any Republican or Democrat actually, so I just
- 55:31Speaker 10: want to thank you.
- 55:31Speaker 4: Congratulations. It's not an easy thing to do. That's a
- 55:34Speaker 4: tough place. I want to congratulate, yes, and he goes
- 55:37Speaker 4: on to congratulate the King on a number of things there.
- 55:41Speaker 4: But what's important is the diplomacy being displayed. Right. They
- 55:47Speaker 4: say that President Trump is this, and President Trump is that.
- 55:50Speaker 4: He is playing this remarkably well. Right. He is literally
- 55:55Speaker 4: respanking the British. And again, we're not at warring. We
- 55:58Speaker 4: don't have a conflict with the British. But the British
- 56:00Speaker 4: have had their hands in everything for quite a long time,
- 56:03Speaker 4: and it's about time the United States gets its due.
- 56:10Speaker 4: We've been investing in the security of many for a
- 56:13Speaker 4: long time and for a long time. And I would
- 56:16Speaker 4: say but for President Reagan, President Kennedy, President Eisenhower, we
- 56:21Speaker 4: haven't even had very many presidents that are willing to
- 56:24Speaker 4: challenge the global status quo, right, saying well, you know,
- 56:28Speaker 4: these people are our ally, and they are and I
- 56:30Speaker 4: think they're a valiant ally and great, let's continue. And
- 56:34Speaker 4: I think for the most part, we've always had a
- 56:36Speaker 4: very good relationship with England. I think when it comes
- 56:40Speaker 4: to reshaping the global order of things, like right now,
- 56:43Speaker 4: with you've got people saying, you know, and it's not
- 56:45Speaker 4: worth my time to go through the Strait of Hormuz anymore.
- 56:48Speaker 4: I'm going to go start getting oil from the Americans.
- 56:52Speaker 4: That's a win for American I don't think that was
- 56:53Speaker 4: the end game. I think that is a lesson being taught. Right,
- 56:57Speaker 4: we are siphoning gas from China. We have now told China, hey,
- 57:02Speaker 4: look China. As I discussed in my interview with Major
- 57:07Speaker 4: Doran Compel, the geopolitical analysis I think that we got
- 57:11Speaker 4: out of that conversation was that as long as the
- 57:14Speaker 4: United States has a blockade on Iranian ports they have,
- 57:17Speaker 4: they're busy fighting us to be able to sell oil,
- 57:21Speaker 4: to move oil, to control the straight, which was their
- 57:23Speaker 4: nuclear option, shut it down, mess up everybody's gas prices.
- 57:26Speaker 4: So guess what. We're here and now we're in control
- 57:29Speaker 4: of that. And one would think, out of desperation, we
- 57:31Speaker 4: would quickly say let's resolve this, let's bring the prices now.
- 57:34Speaker 4: President Trump is doing the right thing here and saying, hey,
- 57:37Speaker 4: look it sucks that we have to pay all these prices,
- 57:39Speaker 4: but we're going to win this thing. We are going
- 57:41Speaker 4: to control this straight. Because controlling this straight controls how
- 57:44Speaker 4: much energy gets into China. That's a power play and
- 57:49Speaker 4: as a result of that, and I guess an unintended
- 57:52Speaker 4: consequence is that people are now buying oil from America
- 57:55Speaker 4: because they don't want to go through the Strait. Now,
- 57:58Speaker 4: this is very good for us, because Putin's got his
- 58:00Speaker 4: hands tied with Russia and the war with Ukraine. So
- 58:06Speaker 4: the Russia Ukraine war is kind of keeping them busy
- 58:09Speaker 4: over there. They don't really have much footing to say, oh,
- 58:14Speaker 4: let's go get involved in that war. China is getting
- 58:17Speaker 4: strangled economically because we are cutting off their supply, and
- 58:19Speaker 4: it's better for them to be our friend than otherwise.
- 58:23Speaker 4: And yes, they are becoming a formidable challenger. But guess what.
- 58:28Speaker 4: Something that's been pointed out by Gordon Chang, and by
- 58:32Speaker 4: Blaine Hold and the General, and by Dora and Compell
- 58:35Speaker 4: and others that I've spoken with, is that they don't
- 58:38Speaker 4: have a tried and tested military. And if you've never
- 58:42Speaker 4: been in the ring, do you really want to spar
- 58:45Speaker 4: with the heavyweight champion of the world the first time
- 58:48Speaker 4: you get in the ring. I think many of you,
- 58:52Speaker 4: if you're like me, you're like, yeah, who cares, you know,
- 58:54Speaker 4: let's do it. But I think most people say no, no, no,
- 58:57Speaker 4: we want to start with smaller skirmishes. We need to
- 58:59Speaker 4: get people that are tested, which is why when we
- 59:03Speaker 4: had our conversation with the journalists out of Mexico. I'm
- 59:07Speaker 4: forgetting his name right now, but you could look back
- 59:08Speaker 4: and just look for independent Journalists Mexico, Rich Fildest. You
- 59:12Speaker 4: can google it. You'll find that episode. It was about
- 59:14Speaker 4: a month or two ago. He was explaining that you've
- 59:17Speaker 4: got cartel members now sending their people to Ukraine to
- 59:21Speaker 4: get actual field experience in war, to make the cartel
- 59:26Speaker 4: militias that much more ruthless, and many ways their militias
- 59:30Speaker 4: are paid for. They might be exclusive, but they're hired
- 59:34Speaker 4: by groups like the Wagner Group and others that train
- 59:39Speaker 4: their people and really run their military operations. So fascinating
- 59:43Speaker 4: to see how this stuff all plays out geopolitically. But
- 59:46Speaker 4: the President making a very nice introduction of King Charles,
- 59:51Speaker 4: and King Charles responding in kind with his own words
- 59:57Speaker 4: at the state dinner. Let's go to those as well.
- 59:59Speaker 4: This is King Charles in the White House for a
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: state dinner.
- 1:00:02Speaker 11: Speaking of submarine alliances. There was one particular Orchus predecessor
- 1:00:09Speaker 11: launched from a UK Shipyard in nineteen forty four that
- 1:00:14Speaker 11: served for the majority of her life attached to the
- 1:00:18Speaker 11: fourth Submarine Squadron in Australia, playing a critical role during
- 1:00:24Speaker 11: the war.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: In the Pacific. Her name.
- 1:00:29Speaker 11: Hms Trump. So tonight, mister President, I am delighted to
- 1:00:34Speaker 11: present to you, as a personal gift, the original bell,
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: which hung on the conning tower of your valiant namesake,
- 1:00:46Speaker 11: may stand as a testimony to our nation's shared history
- 1:00:53Speaker 11: and shining future. And should you ever need to get
- 1:00:57Speaker 11: hold of us or just give us a ring.
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: Of course, that is again the King trying to be
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: generous and courteous and gifting him looks like the Liberty Bell,
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: but a really small one. This is Trump on it,
- 1:01:11Speaker 4: which hung on one of their vessels, the Trump. So
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: King Charles. Also, I think I got one more on
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: King Charles before we wrap on this, and I'm pretty
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: Charles out personally. But again, letter rip.
- 1:01:26Speaker 11: As the direct descendant of King George de Third, I
- 1:01:29Speaker 11: know this is a nation that never gives up, and
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: my family's history remains reflected in your maps, which read
- 1:01:40Speaker 11: rather like a Christmas card list across the ages North
- 1:01:45Speaker 11: and South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, and the cities of Charleston,
- 1:01:53Speaker 11: a particular favorite of mine, obviously, Georgetown for that matter,
- 1:02:00Speaker 11: Georgia Anne Appolis as who mentioned and further favorites Prince
- 1:02:06Speaker 11: William County and Williamsburg. This said, French friends can feel
- 1:02:13Speaker 11: equally at home with a glance at a map. Indeed,
- 1:02:18Speaker 11: you recently commented, mister President, that if it were not
- 1:02:21Speaker 11: for the United States, European countries would be speaking German.
- 1:02:26Speaker 11: Dare I say that because of us, we'd be speaking French.
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: A little cruche there from mckinnan. And again, this is
- 1:02:40Speaker 3: how these guys do what they do, right. He wants
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: to make a clever remark that half the room will
- 1:02:46Speaker 3: take as, oh that's funny, that's clever, and I was
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: really witty, and the other half of the room is
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: taking notes saying, oh, I can't believe this guy's trying to,
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: you know, throw some darts at us.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: And this is what they call diplomacy, my friend plum. Anyway,
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: I'm just about King Charles downt But I think ultimately
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: what comes down to happening here is the King is here.
- 1:03:09Speaker 4: Because President Trump likes to be a man of firsts.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: He likes to say, hey, look I'm the guy that
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: brought the King of England to the United States. He
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: extends these courtesies to them, a stage that, quite frankly,
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: you can't get anywhere else. Let's be very frank If
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: you want media attention, if you want to be heard,
- 1:03:29Speaker 4: if you want people to hear your message, nobody gets
- 1:03:33Speaker 4: more attention than Donald Trump. Right. He worked hard at
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: it as a media mogul, and now he works effortlessly
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: at it as President of the United States. And it's
- 1:03:44Speaker 4: not by virtue of him being President of the United States.
- 1:03:47Speaker 4: It's because of he is who he is, and he
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: happens to be President of the United States. So people
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: who want that type of attention, like the king, and
- 1:03:56Speaker 4: I'm not saying the king, he's obviously the King of England.
- 1:03:58Speaker 4: He can get all sorts of attention. But this type
- 1:04:02Speaker 4: of collab with Trump is a good thing for him.
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: It cements his footing in global politics as a monarch
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: who's supposed to have no power but clearly is either
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: trying to purport that he has some, or what I
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: would argue, he's truly one of the guys pulling the strings.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: They have been all along, just like his mother was
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: before that the Queen of England. So I think that
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: this is England respectfully saying, we want to remain at
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: the table, even if we're not at the head of
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: the table. They are kissing the ring of the down
- 1:04:38Speaker 4: pun intended because the United States has truly began to
- 1:04:43Speaker 4: flex its muscle. And I think that's great. And I
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: had to talk the other day with one of my friends.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: We will call him, what do we call him? We
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: call him Ruben the Cuban. And my buddy Ruben the
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: Cuban was telling me, He says, but you see that's
- 1:04:57Speaker 4: the problem here. Why can't we all just get along
- 1:04:59Speaker 4: and a good time and just enjoy ourselves and not
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: worry about who's number one? And quite frankly, I said, look, brother,
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: I love you, and we only have that mindset because
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: we are number one. If we weren't number one, if
- 1:05:16Speaker 4: we didn't have the safety and security of knowing that
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: we could fight our battles abroad and that we maintain
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: the order of things because of our massive military and
- 1:05:24Speaker 4: the might and power that we wield, we wouldn't have
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: the ability to start grilling hot dogs on the fourth
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: of July. We'd be living like they do in some
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: other countries. That doesn't mean every country's war torn. I
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: think there's people living happy lives in other places. It
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: doesn't mean this is the only place that you can
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: live a happy life. That's not my suggestion at all.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: But I am saying that in order to have that
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: peace of mind, we have to have some security, and
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: the trade off between them is something I talked about
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: last time. You know, this trade off between liberty and security,
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: or you know Ben Franklin put as privacy versus security
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: is an age old battle and it's as Andy Stanley
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: puts it up, it's a tension that has to be managed,
- 1:06:07Speaker 4: not a problem that needs to be solved, right, It's
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: kind of like a constant that doesn't go anywhere anyway.
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: That concludes my interest in the King's visit. We're going
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: to move on to some other things because you know,
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: the Democrats, of course, are continuing to call for violence
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: against El Trompito, and you know, upset that the guy
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: missed and the hating get close enough. We've got new
- 1:06:31Speaker 4: drugs coming in from Mexico in the last couple of months,
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: a new type of fentanyl. It's like a synthetic fentanyl
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: called car fentanyl and has nothing to do with cars.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: We'll talk about that. The Michael Jackson movie making huge
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: waves in the box office and re earthing a lot
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: of old footage of Michael Jackson, his relationship with Donald Trump,
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: who he actually really is as a person, and a
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: study that's come out and to March showing that something
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: like two thirds or eighty percent of babies that are
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: getting all this screen time, whether it's through a tablet,
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: a learning exercise, or whatever, might actually be causing brain
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: damage for these little kids. That's pretty wild. So all
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: of that's coming up. I know I've gone long on
- 1:07:17Speaker 4: both of these segments, but it was a lot to cover.
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: So if we don't get to everything in this episode,
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: we will carry some of it over until tomorrow. But
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: keep it lock right here. It's Rich Valdez. I'm coming
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: right back.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: This is America. This is America.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: He's making podcasting great again.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: This is America with Rich Valdez.
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: All right for me, no welcome back. It's Rich Valdez
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: keeping your company tonight, and I want to let you
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: know that I definitely discussed a lot tonight. We did
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: a deep dive on this King Charles visit.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: We did a deep dive on the James Colemandictman.
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: Those were the two biggest stories of the day. But
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: I really wanted to get into this other stuff that
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: I had with not only the continued calls for violence
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: against President Trump, with the Michael Jackson movie. I'm a
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: big fan of Michael Jackson, always have been, and there's
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: a lot of good clips that are circulating about his
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: innocence and how President Trump defended him, and how Kamala
- 1:08:13Speaker 4: Harris went after him so viciously for things that she
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: said he did, which many say he didn't do, including
- 1:08:18Speaker 4: some of the kids they said he did to like
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: Macaulay Culkin. So I want to get into that stuff.
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: I also have this study about two thirds or eighty
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: percent of babies getting brain damage. This is from an
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: Australian study that I really want to dig into because
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: earlier today I saw a post from my pastor saying
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: that if you quit social media for two weeks it
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: could add up to a decade in health benefits, and
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: I thought, wow, two weeks to get an extra ten
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: years and health benefits sounds like a good deal for me.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: It's part of my job and I don't even do
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: it that well. Honestly, I'm pretty bad at posting stuff
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: on social media, but very interesting stuff, and I want
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: to unpack that a little bit as well. Plus, cold
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: Bear is coming to the end of his reign on television.
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: What does that mean. I think that just means Colbert
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: is gonna have a streaming show somewhere like Netflix or
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: Paramount Plus or something like that, and it's probably gonna
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: be even bigger than the TV show. Why, Because TV
- 1:09:13Speaker 4: combined with cable doesn't even come close to the streaming world,
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: right And I think right now streaming is more than
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: double TV and cable combined. Why do you think I
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: jumped into streaming? That's exactly why. So I don't think
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: we're going to see the end of Cold Bear yet,
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: but let's see if my prediction holds true or not.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: So we'll continue this conversation on all of the stuff
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: with the kids, with the screens, with any fallout or
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: additional stuff from King Charles, and plus all of the
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: news that Wednesday has to offer us in the next episode.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Until then, I say, as stall Abrosima, take care, good night,
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: and God bless you America. I'm Rich Valdes and this
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: is America, this is America.
