0:02
SPEAKER_01: Hello everyone.
0:03
SPEAKER_01: Welcome back to the Unity Code where we bridge science, spirituality, and strategy.
0:08
SPEAKER_01: So you can actually understand how things work and build something that works for you.
0:13
SPEAKER_01: Today's episode is specifically for my soul-led entrepreneurs, the ones who know you're here to do something meaningful and beautiful, but maybe your business or offers, ding, aren't fully reflecting that.
0:25
SPEAKER_01: Because I see this all the time, especially with people who are incredible about what they do, but something just isn't clicking.
0:33
SPEAKER_01: The offer isn't landing.
0:34
SPEAKER_01: The messaging feels off, or it's maybe just taking way more energy than it should.
0:40
SPEAKER_01: And today I want to bring someone in who I personally trust into this conversation.
0:46
SPEAKER_01: I have been listening to her podcast, The Offer Mojo Show.
0:50
SPEAKER_01: I'll obviously link this in the show notes.
0:52
SPEAKER_01: And honestly, she is just one of those resources that makes you think about your business in a completely different way.
1:00
SPEAKER_01: And as someone who works with energy and alignment literally all day, her podcast episodes and her in particular have really helped me think outside my own patterns and see things that I wouldn't have seen otherwise.
1:12
SPEAKER_01: So this is not just a random guest today.
1:15
SPEAKER_01: This is someone whose work I actually respect and use.
1:20
SPEAKER_01: I can't wait to introduce her for you today.
1:31
SPEAKER_01: So I'm about to introduce the beautiful and wonderful Lori.
1:36
SPEAKER_01: And I hope you get so much out of this podcast episode.
1:39
SPEAKER_01: I will list it again at the end of the show, but please check her out on socials.
1:42
SPEAKER_01: Check out her podcast, The Offer Mojo Show.
1:45
SPEAKER_01: She is an incredible resource for soul-led entrepreneurs talking about energy and manifestation at the right level with your offers so that you can show up and be exactly who your soul is supposed to be here in this lifetime as a soul-led business owner.
2:02
SPEAKER_01: Hello, everyone.
2:06
SPEAKER_01: Welcome, Lori.
2:08
SPEAKER_01: Hi, how are you?
2:09
SPEAKER_01: I'm good.
2:10
SPEAKER_01: Um, just to give everyone a little bit of background, Lori is known as the offer magician.
2:15
SPEAKER_01: She is an offer and business positioning strategist who helps coaches and transformation focused experts turn what they know into offers, into people actually want to buy.
2:27
SPEAKER_01: And so she has over 15 years in the industry and she works with purpose-driven entrepreneurs who know what they're good at, but can't figure out why their offers aren't connecting.
2:36
SPEAKER_01: She will help them get clear on what they're actually selling, who it's for, and how to talk about it in a way that actually connects and feels true to them.
2:44
SPEAKER_01: Her clients usually show up feeling really stuck, really burnt out by their current model, and they leave with offers that energize them and serve their people well and sell without the usual masculine-driven friction that we all know for the place, right?
3:00
SPEAKER_01: Um, and I freaking love this because Lori believes that the right offer doesn't just grow your business, it actually gives you back your life.
3:09
SPEAKER_01: And so today I'm so freaking excited to have Lori here to talk about herself, the misalignment leaks that are in your offers that quietly make them harder to sell and why everything might look really good on paper, but really off in your energy and what you can do about it.
3:23
SPEAKER_01: So, Lori, I'm so freaking excited to have you here today.
3:27
SPEAKER_00: I am so excited to be here.
3:30
SPEAKER_00: Like, oh my gosh.
3:31
SPEAKER_00: Like, and I have to mention just a shout out for Nicole.
3:34
SPEAKER_00: Nicole is gonna be on my podcast soon.
3:37
SPEAKER_00: And I we've just hit it off, like energetically, and we're just a really good match.
3:43
SPEAKER_00: And so I know this is gonna be a really great episode.
3:47
SPEAKER_01: Me too.
3:47
SPEAKER_01: Me too.
3:48
SPEAKER_01: All right.
3:49
SPEAKER_01: So maybe before we get into the energy lease, I would love to get into a little bit of your background.
3:54
SPEAKER_01: Why do you focus on offers specifically?
3:57
SPEAKER_01: Um, when did you start noticing?
3:59
SPEAKER_01: Like, what did you notice in people's businesses that really pulled you into this part of the work?
4:03
unknown: Okay.
4:04
SPEAKER_00: So um I would say I got into, well, first of all, I've been in offers probably all my life, uh, starting with my background as in marketing at a food company.
4:17
SPEAKER_00: So I worked under the VP of sales and marketing.
4:19
SPEAKER_00: So we I was surrounded by branding and offers constantly.
4:24
SPEAKER_00: Then I started a coaching practice for moms, and I, of course, was crafting my own offers.
4:30
SPEAKER_00: Um, but then I started the business that I have today, and I was a marketing generalist.
4:38
SPEAKER_00: I did a little bit of everything.
4:41
SPEAKER_00: Can launch management, helping people with their offers, content management services, website development, funnel development, the whole thing.
4:51
SPEAKER_00: And I would say it was about where 2026, probably beginning of 2023, I started noticing a huge shift in the market.
5:03
SPEAKER_00: A lot of people were coming online, the market was becoming very saturated.
5:10
SPEAKER_00: Um, AI was uh starting to come into play, and things started shifting.
5:17
SPEAKER_00: And what I noticed is that things that I would have typically gotten hired for, people were hiring specialists.
5:28
SPEAKER_00: And it was like, ooh, okay.
5:31
SPEAKER_00: For 18 months, I kind of sat with this my it this intuitive feeling that the generalist world is dying.
5:42
SPEAKER_00: And I need to position myself in a new way, in a different way that leans into my own natural genius.
5:54
SPEAKER_00: And uh I sat with it for 18 months intuitively because I didn't know what my freaking genius was.
6:04
SPEAKER_00: I'm not kidding you.
6:06
SPEAKER_00: So I literally I my whole business was built around using the skills and the genius and the talents of my team in my agency.
6:18
SPEAKER_00: And I yes, I have a genius in managing projects and managing team, but it wasn't like something like that.
6:25
SPEAKER_00: I loved it, didn't like set my soul on fire.
6:29
SPEAKER_00: Well, it took a breakdown.
6:31
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I'm telling you a breakdown.
6:35
SPEAKER_00: My spouse was sitting in that chair right over there, and she literally said four words to me something needs to change.
6:45
SPEAKER_00: And the tears just came down.
6:49
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I knew it's like I know I I have been trying to ignore my intuition for so long because I didn't have the answer, and I had too much stuck energy for that answer to even come to me.
7:07
SPEAKER_00: So I just broke down.
7:09
SPEAKER_00: I just cried and cried and cried and I released all of that energy.
7:15
SPEAKER_00: And then I asked my copywriter a really unique question.
7:19
SPEAKER_00: I said, Drashti, I said, like, if you look at me, I said, can you tell me like what do you think like I'm really good at?
7:29
SPEAKER_00: And she said, you have such a natural way of seeing people's genius and bringing that out in them.
7:39
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, interesting.
7:44
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
7:44
SPEAKER_00: I started like looking at my life and looking like at my sons, looking at my friends, looking at like everything.
7:54
SPEAKER_00: And it's like I finally realized, oh my god, I do see the genius in everyone, I do see how everyone is so unique and what makes them like magical, or what I say, like what their mojo is.
8:11
SPEAKER_00: And that's how the offer strategy uh in positioning came out because I know that it is our mojo, it is our brilliance, and it is our genius that we are selling when we craft our offers.
8:27
SPEAKER_00: So that's how it got started.
8:29
SPEAKER_00: I literally like like it wasn't like a complete, like, you know, 180, but let's say a complete 90 degree shift.
8:39
SPEAKER_00: Like I literally like just changed all my messaging, started putting stuff out into the world that I am the offer and positioning strategist, and people were like eyebrows raised, suddenly, like, oh wow, this is unique.
8:57
SPEAKER_00: I had, I think, six speaking engagements booked within a month.
9:03
SPEAKER_00: And since I've leaned into that, my podcast has grown 10x.
9:10
SPEAKER_01: It's an incredible podcast.
9:12
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
9:12
SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
9:13
SPEAKER_01: Completely understand that.
9:14
SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
9:15
SPEAKER_00: So that's how I got started.
9:17
SPEAKER_00: Uh, yo, huge background in branding and marketing, generalist for a long time, intuition screaming at me.
9:24
SPEAKER_00: Um, finally found my own genius, my own lane, and I pivoted.
9:29
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
9:30
SPEAKER_00: And it's been amazing.
9:32
SPEAKER_00: Uh, so yeah.
9:33
SPEAKER_01: What an incredible story because it is such a mirror, I think.
9:37
SPEAKER_01: And there has to be some super magical secret sauce to you and your journey and you helping other people in very similar journeys that are coming down your pipeline as well.
9:46
SPEAKER_01: Because I think it takes a lot for not only, I just love the fact that you just had to put the mirror up and be like, oh, you are the person that finds the magic in other people, right?
9:56
SPEAKER_01: And so it's so hard in this journey, especially as entrepreneurs, to step outside of ourselves and see the genius within ourselves because we get clogged up with the reality of the tests and the to-dos and and all of the things that we have to do.
10:11
SPEAKER_01: And how is everybody else showing up in the world?
10:13
SPEAKER_01: And there's a lot of emulation and copying that goes on, right?
10:16
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
10:17
SPEAKER_01: So having someone like you that is able to, and you're a projector, are you not, Lori?
10:23
SPEAKER_01: I am a projector, which is exactly who you want, digging into your energy and your business to find truth in it and put the mirror up to say this is exactly what your secret sauce is.
10:35
SPEAKER_01: And like, I am not surprised at all that you've had all the speaking engagements that your podcast is blowing up, just because to have a projector in the space, uh, and you with the experience in the space to show people their magic, like that is probably worth its weight in gold.
10:52
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know what?
10:53
SPEAKER_00: I didn't know that because it wasn't until I'd say probably beginning part of last year that I started like researching human design and found out that I was a projector and like actually did research on the best business strategies for a projector and what the strengths are of a projector.
11:17
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, ah, ha, I see patterns that other people don't see.
11:22
SPEAKER_00: Like, okay, like I have depth, I have the ability to connect right with people.
11:28
SPEAKER_00: It's like I have a two-four uh uh emotional authority.
11:33
SPEAKER_00: So I'm really good with connecting with people.
11:36
SPEAKER_00: I can be a hermit sometimes, but then I come back and I connect with people, but I have really, really deep, just a lot of depth to the way I work with clients, which is what this needs because when we are crafting I uh offers that are aligned with our genius, there's a lot of identity work uh in that.
11:57
SPEAKER_00: So yeah, and and and I happen to be a little, I guess what I would consider neurospicy.
12:05
SPEAKER_00: Like I have like a half very uh I'd say strategic and structured brain and a half very creative uh brain.
12:19
SPEAKER_00: So it's like I hold the messaging and the positioning, like while I hold the structure of an offer, if that makes sense.
12:28
SPEAKER_00: It's just kind of a like a unique combination.
12:31
SPEAKER_00: And I don't think I would have ever, if I hadn't done all of the identity work myself last year, I don't think I would have ever identified myself as being neurospicy, but it's just like I gave birth to one ADHD son and one uh kid on the autism spectrum.
12:49
SPEAKER_00: It's like okay, like um, yeah.
12:54
SPEAKER_00: So I I I I would say that my brain is a little bit neurodivergent, but it's what makes me really good at what I do.
13:02
SPEAKER_01: So and it's so funny because the listeners of my podcast are are now like, oh, I know exactly why Nicole likes her so much, because we are so similar in that way.
13:10
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
13:11
SPEAKER_01: I'm a projector, right?
13:13
SPEAKER_01: Love a fellow projector, and I also come from the background of business and had a lot of personal transformation work to do to bring in that creative side of the house.
13:22
SPEAKER_01: So there's a lot of similarities between the two of us, which obviously means, you know, our energy frequencies in alignment, but also I can see also the depth and the integrity that you bring to this work.
13:33
SPEAKER_01: And projectors light up when we light up other people.
13:37
SPEAKER_01: And so that's that's why I feel so in tune with you and your podcasts and your service offerings with the um with the offers and and how you literally show up to help other people uncover their genius.
13:50
SPEAKER_01: So so let's talk about that.
13:52
SPEAKER_01: So I know that you talk about um offers and misalignment leaks.
13:57
SPEAKER_01: What do you how do you want to approach those?
13:59
SPEAKER_01: How do they show up in someone's business?
14:01
SPEAKER_01: Where do you where do you think it'd be valuable to go down the rabbit hole here?
14:04
SPEAKER_00: So I think what I want to talk about is I mean, we can't, we would talk forever if I talked about all of the misalignment leaks that show up in offers, but I want to talk about three of the most common because I think that's what uh people will resonate with most.
14:21
SPEAKER_00: And I even if they can make one of these shifts, I it will be hugely beneficial.
14:29
SPEAKER_00: And we've already started talking about one of those leaks, and that is not aligning your offers with your natural genius.
14:38
SPEAKER_00: So, what a lot of people do is they put together offers that are something they think is going to sell, something that they think is what their audience wants, something that their audience has asked for.
14:57
SPEAKER_00: And they start like going down this path of creating offers in a particular lane or creating all kinds of offers that are some maybe genius, some may not be.
15:12
SPEAKER_00: And before you know it, they've got a business that doesn't light them up.
15:19
SPEAKER_00: Um, a business that just starts to feel like drudgery, it starts to feel difficult, it it doesn't move because it's not aligned with your natural genius, and so you get a lot of stuck energy and it's hard to grow a business when you have a lot of stuck energy.
15:41
SPEAKER_00: People, it just doesn't flow the way you do.
15:44
SPEAKER_00: And when you it's like the way I describe it, I guess.
15:48
SPEAKER_00: Um I'm trying to think of like who was I talking to the other day um about energy frequency.
15:56
SPEAKER_00: I I'll come back to it if I remember it.
15:57
SPEAKER_00: But it's like if you're not, if your offers and your business are not aligned with your genius, right?
16:04
SPEAKER_00: Your your frequency is probably like you know, down here.
16:08
SPEAKER_00: Then you align your offers and your business with your genius, and suddenly you're so excited, you're so passionate about what you do, and your frequency like naturally rises.
16:23
SPEAKER_00: And we all know what happens when your frequency naturally rises, you begin to attract, right?
16:30
SPEAKER_00: Business begins to flow to you, and you know, even even though my business, you know, is I have like this little gnat around me.
16:40
SPEAKER_00: Um anyway, even though my business is um like you know, aligned with my natural genius, and I know that because when I'm in client calls, I'm just so like lit up.
16:52
SPEAKER_00: I'm so I just enjoy it so much.
16:57
SPEAKER_00: What happens, and we'll talk about this as another leak, is there's certain parts of my business that might feel misaligned.
17:05
SPEAKER_00: And when that energy gets stuck, it's just like I'm getting dragged down and I don't show up in the same frequency level that I need to to grow the business.
17:17
SPEAKER_00: So that's the first thing.
17:18
SPEAKER_00: And here's the thing, you know, I want to say this because I think this is so important.
17:22
SPEAKER_00: A lot of people think, oh, I don't know what my natural genius is, or I don't really have a natural genius, or I'm not really a brilliant person, I'm just average.
17:33
SPEAKER_00: Bullshit.
17:34
SPEAKER_00: Bullshit.
17:35
SPEAKER_00: I call bullshit on that because I truly believe everyone has their own unique mojo, and everyone is brilliant in their own way.
17:46
SPEAKER_00: We just have to pull out what that is, right?
17:49
SPEAKER_00: It it's not like we don't have to compare ourselves to, you know, all these big like uh, you know, content creators and influencers on, you know, uh, or these big huge experts that have this massive following.
18:04
SPEAKER_00: No, like brilliance and genius is so nuanced and can be so like specific.
18:11
SPEAKER_00: The way we see things in a different way than other people, the way we do things that's different.
18:17
SPEAKER_00: Um, even like our expertise, like maybe we bring like this really layered expertise, you know, into what we do.
18:26
SPEAKER_00: Pulling out that genius and that brilliance is it's it's very nuanced.
18:32
SPEAKER_00: And I will never allow anyone to play small because I just don't believe in it, because I feel like you were born into this world for a reason.
18:45
SPEAKER_00: And whoever you, if it's God, universe, like whatever you call that person or entity or whatever, you're here for a reason.
18:56
SPEAKER_00: You have a purpose, you have a mission, you have brilliance, you have genius that you can bring, and that's what we are meant to.
19:03
SPEAKER_00: That's why we're here is to use our gifts to help change other people's lives, however, that looks.
19:11
SPEAKER_01: I love that.
19:12
SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
19:13
SPEAKER_01: And I I just everything you said is just absolutely beautiful and magnetic.
19:18
SPEAKER_01: And I completely agree with you that everyone here on planet earth probably can have a business.
19:23
SPEAKER_01: Like, right, right.
19:24
SPEAKER_01: There is a secret sauce to every single one of us that we bring to the table.
19:28
SPEAKER_01: And to your point, when you start comparing yourself to the other people who are incredibly owning their own authenticity, their own, their own mojo, right?
19:39
SPEAKER_01: And you start to emulate them, of course, it's not gonna work.
19:42
SPEAKER_01: You can't have the misaligned offer because that's part of their genius.
19:47
SPEAKER_01: And so uncover having working with someone like you to uncover your own genius, yes, and create offers around that is gonna be the key to you being successful in your business and also the key to you living a life that you fucking love.
20:02
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, brings joy, you know, and I want to say I want to say this because I don't know if all of your listeners are business owners.
20:10
SPEAKER_00: Even if you are working at a company, having the right job for you that's aligned with your natural brilliance and genius, like that's oh my God, that just brings complete career fulfillment.
20:26
SPEAKER_00: I mean, I my son, I mentioned them a younger son, is high-functioning autism.
20:30
SPEAKER_00: His, if you know anything about autism, they usually have a fixation on a particular subject, maybe one or two, but my son's is vehicles, cars.
20:44
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
20:45
SPEAKER_00: He has been in two cars since he was one.
20:49
SPEAKER_00: Like my entire house would be lined up with traffic jams of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars.
20:57
SPEAKER_00: By three years old, he was looking at uh supercars, a thick supercars book, like flipping the pages until the pages like fell apart.
21:08
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
21:09
SPEAKER_00: And guess what he's doing today?
21:12
SPEAKER_00: He's working for icon 4x4, which is a custom designed uh cart vehicle.
21:20
SPEAKER_00: They take old Ford Broncos, old FH uh FJ cruisers, and modernize them under the icon brand.
21:29
SPEAKER_00: He they are they are selling million-dollar vehicles.
21:33
SPEAKER_00: Guess who landed uh that project management and click client liaison job right out of college?
21:39
SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
21:40
SPEAKER_00: Because that's his superpower.
21:44
SPEAKER_00: Oh right, you know, like that it is his superpower.
21:48
SPEAKER_00: Um, and you know, and I know that's a really, really nuanced, but I could tell the same story about my other son who's in enterprise sales, like, and like he's been negotiating with me since he was 13.
22:00
SPEAKER_00: Years old.
22:01
SPEAKER_00: Like, I remember when he was 16, he got grounded from the uh the car because he did something that I didn't like.
22:08
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, that dude like was negotiating every freaking angle that he could come up with to get that car back.
22:17
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, no, you're not getting the car back.
22:20
SPEAKER_00: I don't care.
22:20
SPEAKER_00: You're a good negotiator.
22:22
SPEAKER_00: Um, and he uses that uh in sales today.
22:25
SPEAKER_00: He's very analytical, uh, just a very good negotiator.
22:30
SPEAKER_00: Like he can see things from all different angles.
22:34
SPEAKER_00: That's a superpower.
22:36
SPEAKER_00: Not everyone has that.
22:37
SPEAKER_01: Wow.
22:38
SPEAKER_01: And this is making me feel feel better as last night.
22:40
SPEAKER_01: My 12-year-old was trying to negotiate with me and was throwing me at the fucking wall.
22:43
SPEAKER_01: So so my person, my human is taking this one outside of this podcast episode.
22:48
SPEAKER_01: But but as you're talking, Lori, I I hear spirit in my head saying, No one can beat you at your own game.
22:54
SPEAKER_01: When you recognize your own genius, no one will do better at it than you.
22:59
SPEAKER_01: Absolutely.
22:59
SPEAKER_01: That's 100% true.
23:01
SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh.
23:02
SPEAKER_01: 100% true.
23:03
SPEAKER_01: I love this so much.
23:04
SPEAKER_01: So misalignment leaks.
23:05
SPEAKER_01: So, what's the next one then?
23:07
SPEAKER_00: The next one is using the wrong delivery model for your offers.
23:13
SPEAKER_01: Okay.
23:14
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
23:15
SPEAKER_00: Um, so as you know, there are so many different uh offer types.
23:21
SPEAKER_00: There are there's, you know, one-on-one deep work, there is, you know, group programs, there's retreats, there's community-based offers, there's um courses, there's just a million different kinds of ways that you can bring your offer to the world.
23:38
SPEAKER_00: When you're not working in the right model, and you're working in a model that drains you, it's just not gonna work.
23:48
SPEAKER_00: I worked with a health coach, for instance, who was doing one-on-one work, and she was so burnt out and so drained when she came to me.
23:58
SPEAKER_00: And we started like just digging into just the offer model of at that particular time.
24:03
SPEAKER_00: Um, and like what she said to me was like, oh my God, like I hate doing one-on-one work.
24:11
SPEAKER_00: She's like, I am like, I she says, I will work with a client for about a month, and then I'm just over it.
24:21
SPEAKER_00: Like, I just don't want to go like any further.
24:24
SPEAKER_00: Um, and she's like, What I really want to be doing is like group programs or retreats.
24:30
SPEAKER_00: And I said, So why aren't you doing that?
24:33
SPEAKER_00: And you know, that question alone was just like, uh, yeah, why aren't I doing that?
24:40
SPEAKER_00: Because in her mind, she was told one-on-one is how you need to work with your clients, you know, and knowing she didn't believe in her heart and soul that she could make a retreat model work for herself, or that she could make a group model work for herself.
25:00
SPEAKER_00: You know, a lot of times what people are doing is they're chasing trends, like you know, right now the community-based offer is a big trend.
25:10
SPEAKER_00: Oh, you know, everywhere you go, you need to be in community, need to be in community.
25:14
SPEAKER_00: Like, you know, everyone wants community right now.
25:17
SPEAKER_00: So everyone is creating a community-based offer.
25:21
SPEAKER_00: What if a community-based offer like drains the hell out of you?
25:26
SPEAKER_00: Like you're not you're not gonna be able to fill it.
25:28
SPEAKER_00: I mean, if it's the right model for you, like any model will work.
25:33
SPEAKER_00: And if it's the right model for you, you will feel energized by it.
25:38
SPEAKER_00: If it's the wrong model for you, you're not gonna show up as as your best self.
25:43
SPEAKER_01: Well spoken by a projector, too, because projectors are fiercely protective of our own energy.
25:48
SPEAKER_01: And if anyone can tell you how to save your energy, it's gonna be Lori.
25:52
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and and I and I will tell you this.
25:55
SPEAKER_00: I mean, uh, it talk about like I know you talk a lot about like, you know, soul and intuition and like really like being in touch with that.
26:03
SPEAKER_00: Regarding my own offers, I'm a projector, I'm deep.
26:08
SPEAKER_00: So my best work is one-on-one.
26:11
SPEAKER_00: I love a one-on-one relationship.
26:13
SPEAKER_00: You know, a lot of experts will tell you you can't scale one-on-one.
26:19
SPEAKER_00: And it's like, I don't know that I buy that, but I sat with that for a little bit.
26:25
SPEAKER_00: And it's like I started, I asked my soul that question is how can I scale my expertise and still honor the fact that I love to do one-on-one work?
26:40
SPEAKER_00: And I didn't have the answer like right away.
26:44
SPEAKER_00: I mean, yes, could I do communities?
26:46
SPEAKER_00: I could, uh, I don't, I don't want to.
26:48
SPEAKER_00: Could I do groups?
26:49
SPEAKER_00: I could, and I might, uh, but an answer came to me, and I want to say it took probably three, four months.
27:00
SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's like, uh, I'm gonna take my structure brain and my ability to audit offers, and I'm going to turn it into a tool that is going to do a lot of the work for me, and then it will upsell to my offers.
27:24
SPEAKER_01: I love it.
27:25
SPEAKER_00: You know, and that's scalable.
27:27
SPEAKER_00: You know, a tool these days, uh I'm not I'm not talking about just a basic like tool, I'm talking a robust tool that I will build that does a really great job of like auditing an offer and showing the misalignment links within that offer that need to be addressed to make it more viable.
27:52
SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love that.
27:53
SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna we'll have that in the show notes, I believe.
27:55
SPEAKER_01: So we'll talk about that in a little bit, but it's incredible.
27:58
SPEAKER_00: I won't have that tool in the show notes.
28:00
SPEAKER_00: No, I won't have that tool, but I will I will give my um AI powered offer confidence uh toolkit, which is it's very good, but the tool I'm going to build is way more robust.
28:14
SPEAKER_00: Okay.
28:15
SPEAKER_01: So stay tuned on that one.
28:16
SPEAKER_01: Yeah, what a what a brilliant, brilliant idea in terms of uh shifting the deliverable delivery model.
28:23
SPEAKER_01: And I think we are both in agreement.
28:25
SPEAKER_01: I know most of my my community is that the systems are all falling apart right now.
28:29
SPEAKER_01: All the systems, all the structures are breaking down, which means that this is the right time to start envisioning, dreaming, being being big, yes, and bold in how you want to start approaching this work.
28:41
SPEAKER_01: And to your point, aligning that with your energy, aligning that with your frequency, so that again, it energizes you, it allows you to be your best self, show up in the best way because no one wants, you know, an entrepreneur or professional, someone that they're buying service or product-based offerings from that is tired and overwhelmed and overworked like the rest of us.
29:00
SPEAKER_01: Like, we need to be the front leaders in terms of setting up new structures that support us.
29:06
SPEAKER_01: So I love this so much.
29:07
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
29:08
SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna throw in just a tiny little nugget based on what you just said um of that the systems are breaking down.
29:15
SPEAKER_00: Everyone is feeling it right now.
29:18
SPEAKER_00: Everyone is like, oh my god, like, why aren't my offers selling the way they used to?
29:22
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, why does this feel like off?
29:25
SPEAKER_00: Why do I feel so misaligned?
29:28
SPEAKER_00: And I want to just say, like, we need to lean into our positioning, like positioning, specific positioning is more important than ever right now.
29:42
SPEAKER_00: Um, if you are a generalist, AI is gonna take your job.
29:48
SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry, I don't I don't mean to be like mean about that, but people are typing into AI general questions.
29:57
SPEAKER_00: I just saw a post on LinkedIn today, and I thought it was just brilliant.
30:01
SPEAKER_00: The guy was talking about coaches, right?
30:04
SPEAKER_00: And how AI is going to take coaches' jobs, that there's basically three types of coaches uh in this world, you know, problem solvers, um, another kind, but the third kind of coach that AI cannot replace is the truth teller and the person that is an that is able to hold emotional space and create identity shifts uh for people because we can all go get information, right?
30:37
SPEAKER_00: Like I literally, someone, it's funny because someone just contacted me and said, I want I'm you know building a new offer, I really admire your expertise.
30:49
SPEAKER_00: I want to, I need to get uh your support.
30:52
SPEAKER_00: And I said, fantastic.
30:54
SPEAKER_00: I'm happy to support you.
30:55
SPEAKER_00: I loved his mission.
30:57
SPEAKER_00: And he he asked for everything.
31:00
SPEAKER_00: He wanted full offer ecosystem design, brand development, website development.
31:05
SPEAKER_00: He wanted the whole shebang, right?
31:07
SPEAKER_00: Quoted it to him.
31:09
SPEAKER_00: He came back to me, he said, I so respect your expertise.
31:13
SPEAKER_00: He said, but I need to do this on my own.
31:16
SPEAKER_00: I had Claude build my offer in my website, and I was like, Okay, all right, show me.
31:23
SPEAKER_00: Show me, please show me because I wanted to see.
31:29
SPEAKER_00: And like I had I all I did was I took one look at the website and the offer, and I'm like, okay, yeah, this is vanilla, this is average, this is AI.
31:40
SPEAKER_00: Um, and it just it was a confirmation to me that why you need to lean into your expertise, why your expertise needs to be so nuanced, and why like you need to outpace like AI.
31:56
SPEAKER_00: Um, because AI is general and it can, yeah, it can create an offer.
32:03
SPEAKER_00: I invite people, go create your offer.
32:05
SPEAKER_00: You're gonna put out an average offer.
32:07
SPEAKER_00: I promise you, you will.
32:09
SPEAKER_00: Um, so anyway, that's just to be weird.
32:12
SPEAKER_00: Let's get into the third.
32:14
SPEAKER_00: You're like, you're like, I'll see you in three months.
32:20
SPEAKER_00: Okay, so let's get into the third uh misalignment uh leak because I know I personally struggle with this like a lot, and I know other people do too.
32:30
SPEAKER_00: And that is aligning your visibility strategies in the wrong way.
32:38
SPEAKER_00: So so many people, I know a lot of people right now that are so over social media, right?
32:45
SPEAKER_00: And a lot of people think, ah, I gotta post on social media, I gotta do this, I gotta, and they look at like social media as like the only like visibility strategy.
32:57
SPEAKER_00: And visibility is so much bigger than that, and there's so many, many strategies that you can use to get eyes on your offers and your brand.
33:08
SPEAKER_00: And if you choose the wrong strategy for yourself, like based on who you are and like what your genius is and how you like to show up, it's gonna become a drag.
33:18
SPEAKER_00: Um, so it's like social media is becoming a real freaking drag for me.
33:25
SPEAKER_00: This kind of stuff, love it, love show up on podcasts, right?
33:29
SPEAKER_00: I'm reaching, I don't know how many listeners you you have or how many listeners will find this in in the future, but I'm reaching in and being visible to a lot of people in a way that like lights me up.
33:43
SPEAKER_00: Social media, like I have to turn it into a almost like a creative game.
33:50
SPEAKER_00: It's like, okay, I have to make this fun, or I am not gonna want to do it.
33:58
SPEAKER_00: And you know, I also know like I'm a good writer, so it's like blogging is like a great tool for me for for visibility.
34:06
SPEAKER_00: I've been writing a blog weekly for almost 10 years.
34:12
SPEAKER_00: Wow, yeah, that's incredible.
34:15
SPEAKER_00: And and you might think, ah, blogging stead, blah, blah, blah.
34:19
SPEAKER_00: Guess what?
34:20
SPEAKER_00: My last seven leads have come through AI search as a result of my website and my blog.
34:29
SPEAKER_00: And one's still pending, and five of those closed on the spot.
34:34
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
34:35
SPEAKER_00: On the spot.
34:36
SPEAKER_00: Wow.
34:37
SPEAKER_00: And again, that's that goes back to positioning, right?
34:41
SPEAKER_00: But it goes back to the fact that this is a visibility strategy that works for me.
34:46
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
34:47
SPEAKER_00: Like I enjoy it.
34:49
SPEAKER_00: Um, I it's like right now, I'm like testing out YouTube, and oh my god, I feel like it's the Wild West.
34:57
SPEAKER_01: It's brutal.
34:58
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's such a drag.
35:01
SPEAKER_00: And I just think to myself, am I really gonna be able to maintain this?
35:05
SPEAKER_00: Probably not, because it just I don't know.
35:09
SPEAKER_00: I'm not like, I'm not honestly like not a natural off the cuff kind of talker.
35:19
SPEAKER_00: Um, if I'm not in a conversation, I'm natural in a like one-on-one conversation, but to ask me to show up in front of a video and perform or to talk and to like some people are just really good, like at just talking off the cuff, and they just they come up with like they're super natural, they're super good at it.
35:41
SPEAKER_00: It's not me, but other people it they are, it is, and absolutely they should be like leaning into video, so it's like there's so many different strategies, and a lot of people, you know, there's so many, you know, people out there too telling you you need to be doing video, right?
35:59
SPEAKER_00: AI is, you know, if you don't show up as your real person on video, you know, you're not gonna be able to, you know, build trust.
36:07
SPEAKER_00: There's just so many like different stories out there that are selling their own solutions, and you got to ignore the noise.
36:17
SPEAKER_00: You really have to find the visibility strategies that work for you, and that's that's part of the work that I do.
36:25
SPEAKER_00: You would think, oh, it's not related to offers, it 100% is because if you're not visible, no one's ever going to see your offers.
36:33
SPEAKER_00: Um, so it is part of the offer life cycle, and it is, you know, something that I do with uh students in my offer mojo studio.
36:42
SPEAKER_00: It's not like a, you know, I don't like specialize in visibility.
36:45
SPEAKER_00: I I know visibility well because of marketing.
36:48
SPEAKER_00: Um and I know visibility well enough because I've been doing it, and I know when it feels misaligned, and I know that you just don't show up as your best self when the strategy you're using does not fit who you are naturally.
37:03
SPEAKER_00: So absolutely, absolutely, those are the three main leaks I see.
37:09
SPEAKER_00: Add that positioning piece in there as a little bonus.
37:12
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I'm I promise you, if you shift one uh of those, it's gonna make a huge difference.
37:20
SPEAKER_01: Yes, yes, and I love that you were talking about so I think visibility is so important, and I also loathe social media.
37:28
SPEAKER_01: Um and yay, I found my person YouTube but but it's so but it's so interesting, and we don't have to go into my rabbit hole.
37:36
SPEAKER_01: I definitely want to talk about the market a little bit, but like for me personally, I know that when people see me, especially as a projector, you call them in, right?
37:44
SPEAKER_01: Vibrationally, so it's understanding what formats do am I able to say it differently to maintain my vibrational alignment and show up in the right spaces so that the right people can find me.
37:57
SPEAKER_01: And it's such an interesting dynamic.
37:59
SPEAKER_01: And I think um it's interesting because out of your leaks, I think visibility feels to me instinctually that it's gonna be the one that is gonna change the most as we move forward.
38:11
SPEAKER_01: So, so sticking and understanding, you know, not necessarily understanding market trends to follow them, but just to understand what's available out there is gonna be so key.
38:21
SPEAKER_01: So I guess um, given you kind of mentioned how the current state of the economy and and people's offers not selling, is there anything that you would recommend for you for like sole entrepreneurs that are listening to this podcast today?
38:34
SPEAKER_01: Is there any tips that you would give people off the bat based on the current market and what you've seen?
38:39
SPEAKER_01: Maybe some quick tips to work um extending their offers and getting a little more success given the state of the market right now.
38:47
SPEAKER_00: I think right now it's about uh positioning and specificity.
38:54
SPEAKER_00: I think it's like positioning your content in a very specific way, positioning your brand in a very specific way so that people like instantly know what your lane is and what is the core transformation that you bring to your clients.
39:13
SPEAKER_00: Um it's trying to be like everything to everyone is is not going to work.
39:21
SPEAKER_00: And that is all about your positioning and your messaging and how you're speaking to your clients in the your content, however that content looks, right?
39:35
SPEAKER_00: So whether that content is something like this, a podcast episode, your own solo podcast, uh YouTube, um blogging, social media content, collaborations that you that you do.
39:49
SPEAKER_00: There's so many different strategies.
39:52
SPEAKER_00: Um, but it should be crystal clear when someone says, Oh my god, like I'm just gonna give you an example.
40:03
SPEAKER_00: My spouse, right?
40:04
SPEAKER_00: Yep, my spouse uh might say, Oh my god, I'm so missing my mom right now.
40:10
SPEAKER_00: I wish I could talk to her.
40:13
SPEAKER_00: Guess what?
40:14
SPEAKER_00: I know someone that can help you talk to her.
40:17
SPEAKER_00: Because I've read it in your content.
40:19
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've read, okay, I've read it, and I immediately thought my spouse, like she's been missing her mom for seven years, you know, and if she could talk to her mom and hear something from her mom from the other side, oh my god, it would be so freaking life-changing for her.
40:44
SPEAKER_00: Um, so I that's what I I want you, I want people to ask themselves if someone is talking about a specific problem that they're having, and and it's a problem that you solve, are you instantly recognizable?
41:04
SPEAKER_00: Like, oh my God, you have to talk to that person.
41:10
SPEAKER_00: When someone in my community, um, which you know is wide, starts talking about problems they're having with their positioning and their offers.
41:20
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, you have to talk to Lori.
41:24
SPEAKER_01: Yep, having a clear problem and a clear solution.
41:26
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, clear problem and clear solution.
41:28
SPEAKER_00: Um that is, I would say kind of urgent for people to solve.
41:37
SPEAKER_00: Um, people are being very selective with where they're putting their money and who they're putting their money with.
41:44
SPEAKER_00: Um, and so it needs to feel urgent enough to to them.
41:47
SPEAKER_00: They need to recognize, like, ah, yeah, that's me.
41:52
SPEAKER_00: Like just yesterday, I had a prospect reach out that said, you know, your work with offer ecosystem design is the exact problem that we are trying to solve right now.
42:03
SPEAKER_00: They have five offers, none of them are are connected, and they want a full client journey, uh, like with offers, with an offer ecosystem.
42:14
SPEAKER_00: And that's exactly the problem I solve.
42:17
SPEAKER_01: I love that.
42:18
SPEAKER_00: So that's like how why you have to get like super specific.
42:22
SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
42:22
SPEAKER_00: And I think it's important in your content.
42:24
SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
42:25
SPEAKER_01: And a lot of I know a lot of the entrepreneurs that don't come from the business background, like yourself and and and myself, um, we don't realize how everything is connected like that, right?
42:34
SPEAKER_01: And how like all of these things are different parts of the puzzle because again, they people know their business well, they know their expertise very well, but selling them and identifying how to package them and how to get them out there is a whole other thing.
42:49
SPEAKER_00: But I don't even and even packaging the offers in an ecosystem, because we don't want to have to just like sell this service or sell this service or sell this offer, sell this offer.
43:03
SPEAKER_00: You want a client journey so the clients that you do like work hard to get, they stay with you.
43:11
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they can progress up your, you know, through your ecosystem.
43:17
SPEAKER_00: Um, and they're with you because it's hard work to get new clients.
43:23
SPEAKER_00: Especially in today's day and age.
43:25
SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
43:26
SPEAKER_00: So keep them longer if you can.
43:28
SPEAKER_00: Design your offers so that uh there's an ecosystem, it keeps them longer with you.
43:33
SPEAKER_01: This is such a brilliant conversation.
43:35
SPEAKER_01: This is why I love listening to you, talking with you, listening to your podcast.
43:38
SPEAKER_01: Um, so why don't you talk a little bit about that offer confidence toolkit that you were chatting about before?
43:44
SPEAKER_01: And how can folks leverage that?
43:46
SPEAKER_01: What can they use it for?
43:47
SPEAKER_01: Where can they get it?
43:48
SPEAKER_00: So uh they can get it at my on my website, and you can drop the show link.
43:54
SPEAKER_00: But it's basically onamissionbrands.com forward slash offer.
44:00
SPEAKER_00: Dash checklist.
44:03
SPEAKER_00: And basically what it does is it helps you kind of walk through the offer life cycle and it's 10 questions and you answer uh you know where you're at, you know, scale of one to 10 or whatever on a particular thing.
44:20
SPEAKER_00: And what it does is it kind of highlights areas where you need to improve.
44:26
SPEAKER_00: Like it just pulls out um leaks in your offer that you could be working on.
44:32
SPEAKER_00: It also gives you strengths, like, oh, you're doing a really good job with this.
44:36
SPEAKER_00: So like lean into the strengths of that offer.
44:40
SPEAKER_00: So it looks at a single offer and basically just helps you have the confidence to go out there and sell it, or at least know like what you could tweak and change to make it even better so that it converts better.
44:56
SPEAKER_00: Um, it's a GPT, um, you know, custom designed.
45:03
SPEAKER_00: Um, it's easy.
45:04
SPEAKER_00: It's there's also a PDF.
45:06
SPEAKER_00: So, like if you're like anti-AI, which I know a lot of people that are anti-AI, and that's totally fine.
45:12
SPEAKER_00: I'm not.
45:13
SPEAKER_00: Um, you can just read the PDF.
45:17
SPEAKER_00: Like PDF, in my opinion, is an outdated offer type, but it's there.
45:22
SPEAKER_00: You can still read it if you're anti-AI.
45:25
SPEAKER_01: Love that so much.
45:26
SPEAKER_01: I love it.
45:27
SPEAKER_01: So I will absolutely add that in the show notes and Lori.
45:30
SPEAKER_01: It was such a fabulous conversation today.
45:32
SPEAKER_01: And honestly, I loved it.
45:34
SPEAKER_01: It was so great.
45:34
SPEAKER_01: And and I just to I always like to recap at the end for my that too long didn't listen, or we talked about a lot of stuff.
45:40
SPEAKER_01: So, again, just to remind everybody like the biggest takeaway here is if you are working in your business, it's not always about doing more or working harder, right?
45:48
SPEAKER_01: It's all of always about assessing what is out of alignment with your offers, with your visibility, with how you're delivering it to your clients.
45:56
SPEAKER_01: Yes.
45:56
SPEAKER_01: And you can definitely work with Lori for all of these amazing tools and tips.
46:01
SPEAKER_01: And sounds like she has this amazing system coming out soon.
46:04
SPEAKER_01: So go follow her on all the socials so you can Yeah, and listen, you know what?
46:08
SPEAKER_00: Listen to my podcast.
46:09
SPEAKER_00: You will get like I am an overshare.
46:14
SPEAKER_00: As you can tell.
46:15
SPEAKER_00: So you're gonna get a lot.
46:18
SPEAKER_00: Just my uh my uh um podcast.
46:22
SPEAKER_00: Uh I can give you the link uh to my podcast.
46:24
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
46:25
SPEAKER_00: Well, it's the offer mojo show.
46:28
SPEAKER_00: Yes.
46:29
SPEAKER_00: Um, so and also give her a follow.
46:32
SPEAKER_00: Your favorite uh podcast platform.
46:34
SPEAKER_01: Yes, absolutely.
46:35
SPEAKER_01: So I'll add all that in the show notes.
46:37
SPEAKER_01: Give her a follow on Instagram and LinkedIn.
46:39
SPEAKER_01: Again, I'll toss it all in the show notes.
46:41
SPEAKER_01: And if you are looking for help with your offers, Lori is the magician that will get that done for you.
46:46
SPEAKER_00: So thank you so much for being here, Lori.
46:48
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, thank you so much, Nicole.
46:49
SPEAKER_00: This is amazing.
46:50
SPEAKER_00: Loved this conversation, just love your energy personally.
46:53
SPEAKER_01: So feeling is mutual, my dear.
46:57
SPEAKER_01: Take care.
46:58
SPEAKER_00: All right, bye bye.
46:59
SPEAKER_00: Bye.
