Governor Greg Abbott is in Kerrville to reveal how Texas is tackling the wreckage from last week’s brutal floods—storms that devastated the Hill Country and claimed lives. With a state-declared disaster now in effect, federal aid is pouring into 28 hardest-hit counties, including Kerr and Uvalde. Over 2,700 state personnel and tons of resources were deployed, rescuing more than 270 people.
