- 0:00Speaker 1: This is creepy. 106.7 Light FM. Cubby, Christine, producer Kristen,
- 0:04Speaker 1: can you tell the story you were just telling me?
- 0:06Speaker 1: We were talking about it off the air. Yes.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Because the headline kind of grabbed me.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Woman wakes up from a dream with a bat in
- 0:14Speaker 2: her mouth.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Like a Louisville slugger?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Nope, not that kind. Like the creature kind.
- 0:20Speaker 1: The ones that fly around at night and eat mosquitoes?
- 0:22Speaker 2: And turn into Dracula. Right, right, right. She's a doctor, Dr.
- 0:26Speaker 2: Krista Edelman. She's from Virginia. Virginia. So she's having a
- 0:29Speaker 2: dream and she's dreaming that a mouse is crawling into
- 0:33Speaker 2: her mouth. I guess your brain's trying to make sense
- 0:35Speaker 2: of what's happening.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Okay.
- 0:36Speaker 2: She woke up. Something was in her mouth. It wasn't
- 0:40Speaker 2: a mouse. It was a bat.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Of course she's screaming.
- 0:44Speaker 1: A real bat?
- 0:45Speaker 2: A real bat.
- 0:46Speaker 1: First of all, where does this woman sleep? A cave?
- 0:48Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 0:49Speaker 1: How do you get a bat in the house?
- 0:51Speaker 2: You can. It's happened to a friend of mine. It
- 0:53Speaker 2: was in her hair. It wasn't in her mouth.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:56Speaker 2: My friend Laura.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Good morning, Laura.
- 0:58Speaker 2: And she survived. She's okay. But, yeah, this woman woke
- 1:02Speaker 2: up screaming. Obviously, her husband was like, ah!
- 1:04Speaker 3: He pulled it out of her mouth for her and
- 1:07Speaker 3: rushed her to the ER just as a precaution. The
- 1:11Speaker 3: bat tested negative for rabies.
- 1:13Speaker 2: But she got rabies shots anyway just to be on
- 1:16Speaker 2: the safe side.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I would, too.
- 1:18Speaker 3: I would, too.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Have you ever had a dream and you woke up
- 1:20Speaker 1: and something's happening? Like, I've had the dream where, I mean,
- 1:24Speaker 1: I don't know. I've been at a urinal, okay? The
- 1:27Speaker 1: dream I'm at a urinal, like at a ballpark.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Don't tell me you were really... Yes.
- 1:31Speaker 3: What?
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah. And that was just last night.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Wait a minute.
- 1:36Speaker 1: This dream was actually last night. No, that happened years
- 1:39Speaker 1: ago where I dreamt I was at the urinal. And
- 1:43Speaker 1: as I was waking up, it was in the morning.
- 1:45Speaker 1: You know how you have that one real deep dream
- 1:47Speaker 1: before you wake up?
- 1:48Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:49Speaker 2: That was pretty deep.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I peed the bed.
- 1:51Speaker 2: You did not.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I swear.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I have repetitive nightmares of going into, and then I
- 1:56Speaker 2: saw it on social all over. A lot of women
- 1:59Speaker 2: have these dreams of going into these gross bathrooms, like
- 2:03Speaker 2: public restrooms, and they're disgusting, and none of the toilets
- 2:06Speaker 2: are right, and there's like showers, there's all these weird
- 2:09Speaker 2: things going on. And I wake up and I have
- 2:11Speaker 2: to go to the bathroom.
- 2:12Speaker 1: And then you think about how dirty it might be,
- 2:13Speaker 1: even though it's your home.
- 2:14Speaker 3: But I think that's my brain going, don't go to
- 2:16Speaker 3: the bathroom right now. Like, in my dream, it's so disgusting,
- 2:19Speaker 3: I won't go. But no, I haven't experienced that.
- 2:22Speaker 2: But I'm sure you're not alone, Cubby. It's fun, you know?
- 2:24Speaker 1: Really? Well, now my wife puts a.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Tarp on the bed. Yeah, how did Coco feel about
- 2:29Speaker 2: that exactly?
- 2:30Speaker 1: No, we weren't married yet. Actually, this was way long ago.
- 2:32Speaker 2: It really happened. Yeah, it wouldn't help you get... It
- 2:36Speaker 2: wouldn't go over well on a first date. No, no, no, no.
