- 2:20Speaker 2: Ish, and I would say the word too right.
- 2:23Speaker 3: No, that would be good.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Yes, that would be good, but 18 years as a power user of Google's free products and 12 years as a high impact role with Google partner, Robin has a unique take on what businesses need to focus on to get the most out of their organic Google placement.

- 3:27Speaker 2: Honor of, how do you say this?
- 3:31Speaker 2: I love my geek, I love my Greek.
- 3:33Speaker 2: A brick and mortar computer store in Dallas, georgia.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Robin's oldest son, tyler, now runs that company.
- 3:39Speaker 2: So Robin can travel the globe.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Speaking to every increasing audience is to reach more businesses and help them to thrive.
- 3:46Speaker 2: So, robin, welcome to the ready-sector library with Wanda Pearson.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I am so excited.
- 3:52Speaker 2: So tell us a little bit about yourself and then I'm gonna ask you some questions and we're gonna get diving to.
- 3:58Speaker 3: I don't know, wanda, telling you about myself.
- 4:00Speaker 3: It's that's, it's my favorite subject.
- 4:02Speaker 3: So let's, where do you want me to start?
- 4:05Speaker 3: I'll tell you, wanda, I have been doing this for a long time.
- 4:07Speaker 3: When I got out of the Marine Corps in 1980 something, my brother had started a computer business with some friends in Central Florida and I was a hardware guy.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I loved a troubleshoot.
- 4:18Speaker 3: I worked on Huey and Cobra helicopters in the Marine Corps.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I was an aviation technology Aviation tech, avionics they called it and so I learned the troubleshoot.
- 4:27Speaker 3: I thought I found out I was really good at it.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I could take a problem on this huge, multi-million dollar aircraft and you could tell me what it wasn't doing or what it was doing wrong and I could very quickly go through the systems and find the problem and work it out.
- 4:41Speaker 3: So I realized I really love to do that.
- 4:44Speaker 3: But I like the hardware side.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I'm not a sit behind the keyboard and click the keys guy.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I don't want to look for an issue in the code, I want to go and find out what's going on boots on the ground.
- 4:54Speaker 3: So I came into the business with my brother.
- 4:56Speaker 3: I was the guy who built the computers and installed the computers and he wrote the software so it worked out really good.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Unfortunately, triple A came into town.
- 5:04Speaker 3: We lived in Lake Mary Florida and triple A found out about my brother's skills and they hired him and he was 22 and what they paid him at 22 would be probably close to a million dollars a year now.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Wow, actually it was that much money and he lived at home with mom and dad still and Shop was two hours two miles from his from the house so he had a short commute, making a ton of money and paying no bills.
- 5:30Speaker 3: He left the business and I went back to school, started delivering pizzas for a while.
- 5:35Speaker 3: I had a friend in the pizza business that started a sign company.
- 5:38Speaker 3: He had a machine that would cut vinyl letters out.
- 5:40Speaker 3: I loved that and that was my first foray into being an entrepreneur.
- 5:45Speaker 3: From that point I started my own sign company.
- 5:47Speaker 3: I've been in graphics and marketing for 40 years now and I have to say that that's a long time.
- 5:53Speaker 3: But when I moved my family to Atlanta from Central Florida I was getting tired of doing the signs.
- 5:58Speaker 3: Although I still to this day have the equipment I can do signs still to this day I do a lot of stuff for myself and for my computer business, but not for a whole lot of other people.
- 6:07Speaker 3: But I wanted to hang my shingle back out for the computer thing and I started.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I love my geek and it was just in my basement and I went to people's houses and I went to their businesses and I fixed their stuff.
- 6:18Speaker 3: Then my son and a friend graduated from high school and he was gonna go to college and after a year of college and realizing how much he didn't want to do that.
- 6:27Speaker 3: He came back and said what do you got going on with that computer company, dad, five years ago.
- 6:31Speaker 3: He dragged it out of the basement and put it into a store.
- 6:34Speaker 3: We had our fifth anniversary in January and now he and three employees run that company for me and giving the opportunity to do Things like this.
- 6:42Speaker 3: But I will say that going through that and the struggles and the failures and successes has really positioned me to know what works and what doesn't.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And that's why your Google guru showed up, because I Just couldn't tell enough people, and every time I said, hey, you can do this and this to get better placement, they would go.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Really no, I was shocked that people didn't know this they didn't know, the thing that I think us experts we have a problem with, because to us it's so simple yeah, how does anybody miss this?
- 7:13Speaker 3: And then you find out, people don't they?
- 7:14Speaker 3: They're like Eyes this big.
- 7:16Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, yeah, that's what you do, and they, so I said I got to reach more people.
- 7:22Speaker 3: So I wrote the book and that has propelled this Thing to start speaking to more folks and getting it out there in front of more people.
- 7:29Speaker 3: And I'll tell you what I'm having the best time of my life now, because I'm doing what I want to do, I'm free to, to help more people.
- 7:37Speaker 3: And then my influence has increased Dramatically, allowing me to reach more folks and have more impact on their lives, which is ultimately what I was created to come and do, right, to help people, to glorify God and to help people Through their struggles, and that's what we're here to do.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 7:54Speaker 2: You, speaking my language in that out actually, and actually what you did with your brother, that was collaboration.
- 7:59Speaker 2: Both of you all got together and you were collaborating with that.
- 8:01Speaker 2: But I me working at IBM, the same thing.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I would look at these guys trying to fix my computer and you pick, okay.
- 8:07Speaker 2: So instead of them just fix, I will actually look at what they're doing so I don't have to call back again.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Let me see how you I can do this.
- 8:13Speaker 2: So I try to fix it myself.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So no, that is awesome, that is.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I love the story here.
- 8:17Speaker 2: So let me ask you a question, and we're going to dive into this how important do you think networking is for collaboration and why?
- 8:23Speaker 3: And Wanda, I'm gonna tell you flat out, I ran the longest, longest continuous running networking event in person networking event in Dallas, georgia, in pauling county.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I just turned it over to somebody else last year so I could spend more time out at other events, but I built a following and relationships.
- 8:42Speaker 3: And how important is it?
- 8:44Speaker 3: I have a friend that's been meeting with me in that room for probably two years now and he was in Acworth we're in Dallas, 15 miles away.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Yeah, at 10 o'clock on a Tuesday night and somebody said I'm thinking about starting up my plumbing business and I need to get my Trailer lettered.
- 9:00Speaker 3: And this guy was like I got the guy.
- 9:02Speaker 3: He can letter your trailer, he could help you with Google, he can get you a website.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And then he couldn't remember my name because it was 10 o'clock at night.
- 9:09Speaker 3: He was at a bar, yeah, yelled out to somebody across the room who also networks with us hey, what's the Google guy?
- 9:15Speaker 3: What's his name?
- 9:16Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, robin.
- 9:19Speaker 3: So how important is networking?
- 9:20Speaker 3: Within nine days, I closed three thousand dollars in business with that guy who was starting up his business and he got the benefit of the experienced Person to help him, where he didn't have to go running around and he probably would have laid out 20 grand to make happen what we made happen for three.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Yeah, and he's often running and helping save the world, one plumbing catastrophe at a time, but it was only because I was repeatedly coming.
- 9:48Speaker 3: I was building the relationship.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I was clear about who my avatar was, who my target customer is, and so when my friend who networked with me for two years, he heard that and it immediately I need to tell you about Robin, and so that's the kind of stories that I have from networking.
- 10:07Speaker 3: So how important is it?
- 10:09Speaker 3: It's paramount, it's.
- 10:10Speaker 3: There's no way you can survive as a business.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Okay, look, if you're an online company that sells widgets and people just go online and buy them and that's why you then, okay, live in your basement if you want, never go out, but if you have any sort of business, any sort of industry, any sort of product that needs people.
- 10:28Speaker 3: I need people to see it.
- 10:29Speaker 3: There's so many opportunities, wanda.
- 10:31Speaker 3: It's unbelievable how many opportunities we have to get out and network, and I'm going to one.
- 10:36Speaker 3: After this, I'm going to powder Springs business group when we get done.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I'm actually going to the chamber to collaborate with the chamber on a Podcast we're gonna start next week.
- 10:46Speaker 3: Oh, it's gonna be a live drop-in show up if you want, if you've ever wanted to be in business, if you got a side hustle.
- 10:53Speaker 3: If you're the Uber driver and you happen to be driving by.
- 10:55Speaker 3: I want to stop in, talk a couple, stop in.
- 10:58Speaker 3: We're gonna be there for an hour every Thursday and we're gonna live on a podcast while we're there so that other people can hear it too, and then from there I'm going straight to powder Springs to go to the business group after hours.
- 11:08Speaker 3: So it's important.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And I love it because actually when I left IBM after 36 years I I said what am I gonna do?
- 11:15Speaker 2: And my husband said one that you got a business.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I said what business I have?
- 11:19Speaker 2: I wasn't sale, that was my more for social worker and and they were with IBM is.
- 11:23Speaker 2: But he said legal shield.
- 11:25Speaker 2: So I actually joined B&I, so B&I actually taught me how to network, how to build relation first place I went when I moved here.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I joined B&I group.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah, cuz it teaches you that.
- 11:36Speaker 2: They educate you with that and that was.
- 11:37Speaker 2: That's a blessing that I learned that.
- 11:38Speaker 2: But then going to different networkers and now they come to the networking queen.
- 11:42Speaker 2: So I remember one of the Presenters that would be an eye.
- 11:46Speaker 2: She said you why in the Pearson?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Oh, you're that networking queen.
- 11:49Speaker 3: That's a good event.
- 11:51Speaker 2: I know, I know it's a good event, but you're absolutely right.
- 11:55Speaker 2: But, robin, what happened when COVID happened?
- 11:58Speaker 2: What?
- 11:58Speaker 3: do we have to?
- 11:59Speaker 2: do.
- 11:59Speaker 2: We had to do virtual.
- 12:00Speaker 2: So that's when I created my WD, pearson socials and I tell people you don't know if you're going to have a job when you go back to work, so why don't you start your passion of what you really want to do in your life?
- 12:10Speaker 2: So that is what I've been doing and, like you said, I have not looked back.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I enjoy what I do.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I enjoy making my own time to get out there and do the networking, meeting people, and you're right, Referrals are so important and how you get those referrals.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Years later, I get a call from this one of oh so-and-so, tell me to call you one day.
- 12:27Speaker 2: I was like, okay, now who are you again?
- 12:29Speaker 2: So I'm still dealing with some of my clients from Keller Williams.
- 12:33Speaker 2: So that's a blessing.
- 12:33Speaker 2: That's really what this is.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I stretched my wings.
- 12:36Speaker 3: I spread my wings a little bit because my wife and I are going to be moving closer to Atlanta soon.
- 12:40Speaker 3: So I joined Samerna business group.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:43Speaker 3: This association went there to one meeting on a Wednesday morning, went to one after hours.
- 12:49Speaker 3: I joined because I liked what they stood for and I like the people and I just closed $5,000 worth of business with a woman that got my name from somebody in Samerna business.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 13:01Speaker 3: That's why we have to do it Because once they know and trust you.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Then you're not just a cold call, you're a warm lead.
- 13:08Speaker 3: She put herself on my calendar, yeah, and she was so excited to meet me because of the person who introduced us.
- 13:15Speaker 3: She really loves and trusts.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:17Speaker 3: And when he said he was over the top, head over heels about me.
- 13:21Speaker 3: That person was now already basically sold.
- 13:24Speaker 3: We just had to make sure we meshed and we had a 30 minute call yesterday and we're about to.
- 13:29Speaker 3: We haven't closed the business yet, but I'm certain we are, because oh, you are, you got it.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Beyond what she can find anywhere else.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I am so proud of you because I tell you the way we come, I got this been five years.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Yup, I think we were on the same speaking stage with.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Monica Henderson the next level of success.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Yup, that's where we met and you was a speaker, I was a speaker and we actually connected that way.
- 13:51Speaker 2: But to see each other in person at the Kennesaw Business Association, see, that's why I say I jump around and people know me.
- 13:57Speaker 2: You're now telling my husband.
- 13:58Speaker 2: I said you know, you can't just go to one meeting.
- 14:00Speaker 2: You got to make yourself known so people know who you are.
- 14:03Speaker 2: You got to have that passion.
- 14:04Speaker 3: I just came from the Pauling Chamber of Commerce's monthly lunch and the Greystone Power Lunch and I was just there having lunch.
- 14:10Speaker 3: I was on a video call on the way in the door and I was planning this on the way home.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I'm telling you, I had eight people when I walked in the door.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Eight people be lined for me.
- 14:21Speaker 3: They wanted to talk to me and they were standing there waiting like peripheral to my conversation, waiting for me to finish with one person so the next person could talk with me.
- 14:28Speaker 3: I get that the networking queen thing.
- 14:30Speaker 3: When you bring your good energy, yeah, you have a good product that you're confident in and then you show that it works.
- 14:37Speaker 3: People start talking and that's exactly what we're in the business for, right.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, absolutely.
- 14:43Speaker 2: So that's awesome.
- 14:44Speaker 2: But I want you to remember my son-in-law.
- 14:45Speaker 2: My son-in-law is Mike Logan, so he really loves how you were talking.
- 14:49Speaker 2: He said, yeah, he's going to be.
- 14:50Speaker 2: I think where you was talking today, south God.
- 14:51Speaker 2: He said he's going to be speaking today.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Mike Logan is actually my son-in-law, who actually does my graphic design, along with my daughter.
- 14:57Speaker 2: But let me, I know we let's get to show the world we got to move on here, but I just enjoy talking to you.
- 15:02Speaker 2: So working how working in collaboration will elevate not only your brand and your bank account, what you internal riches as well.
- 15:10Speaker 2: Tell me about that.
- 15:11Speaker 2: And that is so true because you just talked about that right funny.
- 15:14Speaker 3: It's so funny that you say that because the talk I gave yesterday was about engaging in your community to build your business.
- 15:23Speaker 3: And now I have a nonprofit and I also serve on multiple boards in paulton county with the school system.
- 15:30Speaker 3: And I was uniquely positioned for that because I was on a call with a gentleman out of Tennessee recently and we've gotten to know each other.
- 15:39Speaker 3: Go figure, on a networking meeting that meets in south Florida, we got together on that meeting and we've built a really strong relationship.
- 15:46Speaker 3: We're gonna probably get together this summer.
- 15:48Speaker 3: We're gonna go camping in a nice log cabin in the mountains with our families but he said on a call he says you gotta do like robin, does you become the mayor of your town so that everybody knows you and wants to be connected to you, and then you build your brand from there.
- 16:03Speaker 3: So I got this opportunity to speak.
- 16:06Speaker 3: It was supposed to be a panel discussion but the other person couldn't make it, so it became the robin show and I was able to discuss how my nonprofit has partnered with a rp.
- 16:18Speaker 3: So the rp foundation has a program called senior planet and I'm teaching technology classes at the local senior center for over two years.
- 16:27Speaker 3: I wanted to expand it and I needed some curriculum and I found senior planet and so they said become a trainer and then you can use the curriculum.
- 16:36Speaker 3: And so I did, and now I have access to online curriculum for everybody.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Then one thing led to another and they needed another licensed partner in this area.
- 16:45Speaker 3: And guess who got it?
- 16:47Speaker 3: I didn't even have to apply.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I was there.
- 16:49Speaker 3: I was in the right place, so I was already doing technology classes, reaching out to my community, not getting any recognition except the thanks of the people.
- 16:57Speaker 3: I didn't charge for it, I didn't take any money, I just went and showed up.
- 17:00Speaker 3: They bring me baked goods every now and then somebody will make a really good soup and they'll bring me a container of it.
- 17:05Speaker 3: So that's what I'm getting paid, and then that fulfillment of I'm doing something for people that can't do this for themselves.
- 17:12Speaker 3: And then a rp came along and I'm like, oh, now I'm getting recognized not only by using their name.
- 17:18Speaker 3: I'm able to like wearing the Google thing.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I'll tell you the Google story in a second but now I can put the ARP logo on everything that I have because I'm a partner with ARP.
- 17:27Speaker 3: I'm a licensed partner with ARP.
- 17:29Speaker 3: It's also brought a little bit of a of a monetary benefit, because they give me a little bit of money for gas and to buy snacks for the or coffee for the classes or whatever.
- 17:39Speaker 3: And they've renewed that now for another six months, which was very nice.
- 17:43Speaker 3: I got a nice little check, and so that that doesn't, that doesn't suck, but what I'm, what I also have, is a hundred plus seniors that have registered for my class who now talk about me to everybody they know.
- 17:55Speaker 3: All of their family members know me because I'm that crazy guy that comes in every Wednesday to the library.
- 18:01Speaker 3: And teaches them to technology and they patronize my computer store.
- 18:05Speaker 3: They go to my store and just love on my son who runs my store and then buy computers they don't even need.
- 18:13Speaker 3: They don't need them their computer that they bring in is fine and they're like it's got a scratch.
- 18:19Speaker 3: I want that one, and then they buy this new one and Tyler's, what are you going to do with the old one?
- 18:23Speaker 3: They're like oh, I'm donating that to your dad's nonprofit.
- 18:26Speaker 3: So they give me like a five hundred dollar computer.
- 18:28Speaker 3: They buy a thousand dollar computer because I won't charge them and that our human thing is that we love it gives me, me they're giving it back by patronizing my store and buying computers from me and supporting my family and my employees.
- 18:43Speaker 3: So I was able to talk about that.
- 18:45Speaker 3: But also I've partnered with Google.
- 18:47Speaker 3: So there's another collaboration where Google has this program called the grow with Google program and I have been a partner with them for 12 years now.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Wow, it's a high impact partner.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Last year I reached gold level of partnership status.
- 19:02Speaker 3: That just says I taught a lot of workshops, I put their name on a lot of stuff and I told people about them.
- 19:08Speaker 3: But how much does that benefit me?
- 19:09Speaker 3: I stood in front of 50 people yesterday at South Cobb Business Association and every one of them are like that guy's a genius.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I can't wait to connect with them.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I'm talking to people at Cobb County Schools, the Cobb County Tax Assessors Office, the Cobb County Sheriff's Office.
- 19:23Speaker 3: I have meetings with all those people now.
- 19:25Speaker 3: They all jumped on my calendar after that talk.
- 19:27Speaker 3: So how important is collaborating and networking?
- 19:30Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 19:31Speaker 3: And then, when you find the niche, it doesn't have to be something hard, wanda, that's the other thing I try and help people understand.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Don't go out and try and learn French so that you can minister to somebody in French Go do what you already love to do.
- 19:46Speaker 3: Both.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Find a place where your skill set, your God given talents will just what I call that is the thing that you can fall over backwards into the apple cart and still make it look like it was easy.
- 19:58Speaker 3: Right, absolutely that thing.
- 20:00Speaker 3: Go find a place in the community to serve using that talent, and then you'll love what you do because it's easy and people will just be stunned that you're there helping.
- 20:10Speaker 3: But why are you doing this?
- 20:11Speaker 3: because I love it and I love you and I was created to be in relationship with you, so why wouldn't I do it?
- 20:17Speaker 3: So the Google partnership has just led to multiple classes, multiple opportunities and, by golly, it's brought me a ton of business.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Because they're Google, everybody knows them and everybody thinks I work for them, so they want to be connected to me.
- 20:32Speaker 3: So I can't even tell you enough how they're working in the community, helping in the community, connecting in your community.
- 20:38Speaker 3: I have a lady that's got a $10,000 yearly budget for her marketing, for her Google ads and her Google ads are just start a horrible.
- 20:47Speaker 3: She's having such a hard time.
- 20:48Speaker 3: You got to spend a lot of money, to spend like $10,000 a month on Google ads.
- 20:52Speaker 3: To get anywhere with Google ad I said you know what A much better use of that would be go sponsor things at the local schools, go buy some cool little knickknacks that you can give away, that have your name branded on it and give them away to the teachers for teacher appreciation week and send home things for mom on Mother's Day and you'll have so much more business from that.
- 21:10Speaker 3: But we just have to figure out where in our community we fit where and then plug in and do it.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Exactly, I would love that.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we definitely got to collaborate.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Because you're just speaking my language, because I really want to help the seniors, I'm actually going to be, I'm actually doing a book collaboration with the Kenneson Happenings.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I don't know if Pete came, but he actually asked me to do a collaboration book in the senior actually 55 and over community.
- 21:36Speaker 2: And I say, because that's why I want to help the seniors as well, because a lot of them don't know, especially with the services that we have, that and to make sure that they're protected, I definitely want to collaborate with you and see how we can actually bring this, bring me into your niche, robin.
- 21:53Speaker 3: That's right.
- 21:53Speaker 3: That's right Exactly.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I'll tell you, I have a friend right now who's struggling financially and his website's down.
- 21:59Speaker 3: He's got some surgery coming up that he has to deal with.
- 22:02Speaker 3: He really can't afford it and he really doesn't have the patience because he's in a lot of pain.
- 22:06Speaker 3: And so this afternoon I just said, hey, you really need a branded email address, hold on a minute.
- 22:11Speaker 3: And I went to my hosting company and I was like this domain name works and I bought a $12 domain name Yeahcom.
- 22:18Speaker 3: I not only created him an email address that he can now immediately use, but I used the AI from my web host company and I built him a three page website in 12 minutes.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I was done.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I had updated things, built a logo, created it all, posted it online.
- 22:33Speaker 3: He now has an active website and a viable branded email address, and it costs me $12 in about 12 minutes of my time.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Why wouldn't people do that for another fellow's human being?
- 22:44Speaker 3: But what is that going to bring?
- 22:46Speaker 3: This guy is so connected and when he gets done with having this surgery and starts feeling better and gets back out in the community, who he's going to be screaming from the mountaintops about how great I am?
- 22:57Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the guy.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Yeah, robacy Stern, I'm not doing it for that, but that's what comes from that.
- 23:03Speaker 3: That's what you cannot out give our creator.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Yes, he loves it.
- 23:07Speaker 3: What do you say?
- 23:08Speaker 3: Love me and love your fellow man.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Yeah, it's different for everybody, but for me that was using my technology skills today and flexing what I had to say here.
- 23:17Speaker 3: I love you and I want to see you go into that surgery without any concern, without any fear about this.
- 23:22Speaker 3: This is done, it's taken care of you.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Don't owe me anything.
- 23:25Speaker 3: It was $12, right.
- 23:26Speaker 2: And God knows, he knows you doing everything for him and just like me, and that's when you get blessed with what he's providing you.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Brady, oh, don't even make me go there.
- 23:36Speaker 3: My youngest son and I were talking about the.
- 23:37Speaker 3: All we're here for is to glorify God.
- 23:39Speaker 3: He's coming from the book of John and I'm reading to him out of out of the story of oh, come on, I'm going to pull blank.
- 23:46Speaker 3: The story of Lazarus right, okay.
- 23:49Speaker 3: The sister's called and Jesus waited two days for him to die and I said why would you do that?
- 23:53Speaker 3: Because it wasn't about him.
- 23:54Speaker 3: I knew I could bring him back to life.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Yeah, it was about God getting glory through me.
- 23:59Speaker 3: So here I am with my youngest son, who's getting ready to leave for boot camp for Paris Island.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Monday he ships off to go to Marine Corps training.
- 24:07Speaker 3: And he's coming down in the morning first thing in the morning saying I was reading this last night I wanted to share it with you.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Dad, yeah, and my 21 year old, who's got a lot of stuff going on in his life right now.
- 24:16Speaker 3: He's been trying to go through college.
- 24:17Speaker 3: He's working full time.
- 24:18Speaker 3: He called me the other day.
- 24:19Speaker 3: He said I finished my semester at Chat Tech and I just signed up for the seminary college.
- 24:24Speaker 3: Dad, oh wow, I feel like I'm called into the ministry, so I'm going to start taking some classes to see yeah, I said you talking about getting blessed?
- 24:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I've got everything else.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm cool and my kids know the Lord.
- 24:36Speaker 3: They love the Lord, they want to serve the Lord.
- 24:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I have all the blessings I need.
- 24:40Speaker 3: How can I bless others now?
- 24:42Speaker 2: Absolutely, absolutely.
- 24:43Speaker 2: And that's my two daughters.
- 24:44Speaker 2: The same thing.
- 24:45Speaker 2: My older daughter she serves in the.
- 24:47Speaker 2: She's in North Carolina in the elevation church.
- 24:48Speaker 2: So she's actually serving the elevation church, love it.
- 24:51Speaker 2: And my younger daughter she actually serves here at the church and works there.
- 24:54Speaker 2: You don't know how your kid's going to turn out.
- 24:56Speaker 2: God knows how you're going to turn out, so that is a blessing right there, that's right.
- 25:01Speaker 2: We're going to wind down here, but I got to ask you this question here.
- 25:04Speaker 2: So how can any business get more online exposure and I think you already answered without hiring expensive online marketing companies, and how can they manage all that exposure when it comes?
- 25:16Speaker 3: 29.99.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Okay, you can go to your Google Guru, or just if you just Google this hashtag.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:26Speaker 3: If you put that into Google, you'll get everything that's me, every single thing that is connected to me, from TikTok to YouTube, to website, to everything, by copy my book.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Let me get it in your hands and read it, read every page of it, and do what I just do.
- 25:41Speaker 2: So I just do it with a podcast.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Let me just say what it says.
- 25:43Speaker 2: I just do it with a hashtag.
- 25:45Speaker 2: You're GoogleGuru, googleguru, yep, google Guru, yep, yep.
- 25:51Speaker 3: And that will give you everything about me.
- 25:52Speaker 3: And if you click on there and buy a copy of my book, I will send it to you, and if you will read it and, believe me, it's as lively and funny as I am.
- 25:59Speaker 3: My character is all in that through that book, you'll have a good laugh.
- 26:03Speaker 3: It's got some good stories and it tells you exactly what to do.
- 26:08Speaker 3: And then listen to what I'm doing online.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Come and follow me.
- 26:12Speaker 3: You want to dive in a little deeper?
- 26:13Speaker 3: I'm building an online course where you can go and just watch it all at your own pace and do it all at your own pace, or you can hire me to work one-on-one with you or your organization.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I do coaching and consulting, but the best way to not get taken advantage of in this space- is to be educated.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Learn what these words that the people are saying actually mean, not just what they want to scare you into thinking you're going to FOMO over it doesn't.
- 26:43Speaker 3: Seo is just three letters that mean put the right words in the right places.
- 26:49Speaker 3: And what are the right words?
- 26:51Speaker 3: The words that people are going to be searching for to find you?
- 26:54Speaker 3: I just resolved your $300 month SEO management fee that you don't have to pay anymore.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Because once you put the words where they, belong.
- 27:02Speaker 3: that's it, it works.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Learn and don't get sucked into somebody just because they sound like they know what they're talking about.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you can check me.
