- 0:39Carmen Lezeth: I'm like $122 on you, that's something.
- 0:43Rick Costa: I just got something that gave me some joy too.
- 0:45Rick Costa: I was like what am I going to cook?
- 0:48Rick Costa: I don't know, I don't even feel like cooking today.
- 0:50Rick Costa: I was like, let me see if DoorDash got any kind of coupon or sale today.
- 0:53Rick Costa: Then all of a sudden it says you have a credit of $57, something I said we haven't checked the light today, ma.
- 1:01Carmen Lezeth: Oh, that is so good.
- 1:02Carmen Lezeth: I love when that happens.
- 1:03Carmen Lezeth: I love when that happens.
- 1:05Carmen Lezeth: I went to the.
- 1:06Carmen Lezeth: So, cynthia, you're going to be so jealous and everything, so I thought I'd just share.
- 1:10Carmen Lezeth: You went to 118, didn't you?
- 1:12Carmen Lezeth: I didn't go to no, no Child, I'm in.
- 1:16Carmen Lezeth: This is Santa Monica.
- 1:17Carmen Lezeth: So Los Angeles is Los Angeles and that's like in downtown.
- 1:21Carmen Lezeth: That's kind of far from me.
- 1:22Carmen Lezeth: No, you know, far from me.
- 1:24Carmen Lezeth: Santa Monica is on 7th Street.
- 1:27Carmen Lezeth: I could walk to it, basically, you know what I mean.
- 1:30Carmen Lezeth: So I called them and I said I really want to support, is there a way?
- 1:35Carmen Lezeth: In which they were like no more donations, please.
- 1:37Carmen Lezeth: They're getting so much like food, and you know what I mean.
- 1:40Carmen Lezeth: So I was like no, no, no, I I'd like to buy a t-shirt, but I can't find where to get it.
- 1:44Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:45Carmen Lezeth: So he was like oh, you know, you just come to the store.
- 1:48Carmen Lezeth: We don't have it online.
- 1:49Carmen Lezeth: So I was like I could go into the fire.
- 1:52Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:52Carmen Lezeth: Like I'm like is it a separate store?
- 1:55Carmen Lezeth: I totally wanted to make sure that I could go into the actual building.
- 1:58Carmen Lezeth: They're like no, no, just come down to the firehouse and there's, we have have it up here and whatever.
- 2:03Carmen Lezeth: And I was like, okay, like a little school girl, I was so excited so of course I went.
- 2:11Carmen Lezeth: All the fire trucks were out, so clearly, I mean clearly they're all working or whatever.
- 2:14Carmen Lezeth: But there were firemen in there and Mark came to the door and got me when she did the buzzer and we, and he was like yeah, follow me.
- 2:22Carmen Lezeth: And we went upstairs, upstairs, to where all the shirts were, and he was like so these are the ones that are for sale, these ones you can't buy, because they're actually shirts that we, you know that firemen wear.
- 2:37Carmen Lezeth: I was like oh, like the one you're wearing.
- 2:38Carmen Lezeth: Oh, that's the one I wanted.
- 2:40Carmen Lezeth: I'm like that's okay, it's all right, I'll just look at these other ones.
- 2:43Carmen Lezeth: I'm like that's okay, it's all right, I'll just look at these other ones.
- 2:46Carmen Lezeth: He was like I guess you could buy, so it's these ones with the red.
- 2:48Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean?
- 2:49Carmen Lezeth: I was like I don't think anyone is going to mistake in me, but he was so cute because he goes.
- 2:58Carmen Lezeth: I was like so do you have a large or an extra large?
- 3:01Carmen Lezeth: And he's like well, we have a large here in blue and a black, and I bought both of them, whatever, and he was like but I think you should really wear a medium.
- 3:11Carmen Lezeth: This is a white man.
- 3:11Carmen Lezeth: Let me just say this I'm not trying to put race into it, but I was like I had to tell him after like the third time, baby, I got boobs.
- 3:19Carmen Lezeth: I know you're confused Cause I'm wearing like a sweatshirt right now, but like, but I'm not gonna fit into a little medium of a man's because you know, they always say unisex, but it's not unisex or whatever.
- 3:32Carmen Lezeth: So but um, yeah it, that firehouse is beautiful 29,000 square feet.
- 3:39Carmen Lezeth: I had no idea they have parking underneath, like I mean, he didn't give me a tour or nothing, I just went.
- 3:46Carmen Lezeth: You know, I was just reading up on it.
- 3:48Cynthia Lopez: He was like sneaking around.
- 3:49Carmen Lezeth: I was like yeah, yeah yeah, let me just look at this when do you sleep we?
- 3:58Carmen Lezeth: Can like a tour.
- 4:00Carmen Lezeth: So I asked him.
- 4:03Carmen Lezeth: I said I know I sound really weird, but I really want to wear it on the show and I want to be supportive and I'm like we watched the show 9-1-1.
- 4:10Carmen Lezeth: And there was another fireman there too whose name I did not get.
- 4:14Rick Costa: I already knew that I was like the crazy woman.
- 4:16Carmen Lezeth: What?
- 4:17Rick Costa: He was ugly, just kidding.
- 4:19Carmen Lezeth: Let me just tell you something about firemen.
- 4:20Carmen Lezeth: Let me just tell you something.
- 4:21Carmen Lezeth: Let me just tell you something.
- 4:22Carmen Lezeth: Let me just tell you something.
- 4:22Carmen Lezeth: There is no fireman that's ugly when you walk in there.
- 4:25Carmen Lezeth: It's just something.
- 4:26Carmen Lezeth: It's just something.
- 4:27Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what it is, it's just maybe it's me getting older and shit.
- 4:31Carmen Lezeth: But I was just like, oh my God, they're beautiful, everybody's beautiful.
- 4:37Carmen Lezeth: The fire trucks were out Not all of them, but this one houses quite many of them.
- 4:42Carmen Lezeth: You could tell most of the firemen were out of the build.
- 4:45Carmen Lezeth: Of course they are, of course the Palisades fire and everything else.
- 4:51Carmen Lezeth: But I said I was like I actually watched 9-1-1.
- 4:55Carmen Lezeth: And on our live stream we talk about 9-1-1 because we all love the show, rick, we love the show.
- 5:05Carmen Lezeth: And the other guy was like I don't know this show.
- 5:10Carmen Lezeth: And Mark was like I've seen the show.
- 5:12Carmen Lezeth: I'm like you have.
- 5:13Carmen Lezeth: I was so giddy, I felt like a groupie.
- 5:19Carmen Lezeth: I was so men-girling, so bad.
- 5:23Carmen Lezeth: And, of course, because I know how I am, I was like, well, I don't want to be in your way.
- 5:29Carmen Lezeth: I'll just take two of those shirts.
- 5:30Carmen Lezeth: You don't have a sweatshirt by chance.
- 5:32Carmen Lezeth: He's like we don't have hoodies or anything.
- 5:33Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, oh, all right, then I'm going to leave.
- 5:37Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, thank you so much, I just wanted to go.
- 5:39Carmen Lezeth: And then I went to leave and I didn't know where to get out, because it's so big.
- 5:50Cynthia Lopez: So he's like I'm going to come down in a minute, I'm going to walk you out.
- 5:54Carmen Lezeth: I'm like okay, no, no, no, I mean I wasn't anywhere near there.
- 5:56Carmen Lezeth: I wish I would, cause you know I wouldn't.
- 5:57Carmen Lezeth: Here's the thing too.
- 5:58Carmen Lezeth: I wanted to take pictures and I was like I think I could get in trouble.
- 6:01Carmen Lezeth: I don't know, it felt really sacrilege, right.
- 6:04Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, it felt really weird to be in there, but it was cool.
- 6:07Carmen Lezeth: It was cool, yeah.
- 6:08Carmen Lezeth: So that was my joy today.
- 6:10Carmen Lezeth: Did you guys have any joy?
- 6:11Carmen Lezeth: Or remind me to keep checking, because Mario is going to try to stop by.
- 6:15Carmen Lezeth: He's going to be a little bit late.
- 6:16Carmen Lezeth: Anything joyful, great happening on you guys?
- 6:19Carmen Lezeth: Oh, look look at Cynthia's like Cynthia share.
- 6:23Cynthia Lopez: Speaking of shirts, so I have on ASPCA, oh okay, yes, I donated and they sent me the shirt which I was so happy about.
- 6:34Carmen Lezeth: So for people who don't know what the ASPCA is, it's the animal shelter protection, blah, blah.
- 6:43Cynthia Lopez: Oh yeah, animals, anyway, all about animals whatever it is animal hospitals, shelters, you name it, they do it, that's a cute shirt though is it a sweatshirt?
- 6:55Cynthia Lopez: No, it's a long sleeve shirt.
- 6:57Cynthia Lopez: It's cute.
- 6:58Carmen Lezeth: I like it.
- 6:58Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what the emblem is.
- 7:00Carmen Lezeth: Oh, the paws and the horses, it's a heart with the paws.
- 7:04Cynthia Lopez: It's got the dog, the cat, the horse, a couple of animals up here.
- 7:09Carmen Lezeth: That is so cool, so you donated and they sent that to you.
- 7:12Carmen Lezeth: That's awesome.
- 7:12Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, people have been doing so much work to help all the animals that have been stranded in the fires.
- 7:19Maurio Dawson: Is that?
- 7:19Carmen Lezeth: why you donated.
- 7:20Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, oh, thank you.
- 7:23Carmen Lezeth: We thank you from california me on behalf of all californians in los angeles, especially thank you.
- 7:30Carmen Lezeth: That's kind of cool.
- 7:33Carmen Lezeth: Thank you so much.
- 7:34Carmen Lezeth: When did you do it?
- 7:35Carmen Lezeth: You did it the right at the beginning of the fires.
- 7:36Carmen Lezeth: I've donated a couple things.
- 7:39Carmen Lezeth: I haven't gotten no fucking t-shirts.
- 7:41Carmen Lezeth: I'm pissed, no, I'm just kidding like whatever.
- 7:46Rick Costa: Speaking of fires and animals, I saw james wood said he was helping alissa milano because she had five horses and they were just freaking out and like wouldn't come with her.
- 7:55Carmen Lezeth: So he was helping her and he helped save her horses james woods, who was confused that at first his house was demolished and now it's not.
- 8:03Carmen Lezeth: Is that the same James Wood you're talking about?
- 8:06Rick Costa: I think, so I think it is.
- 8:08Rick Costa: He's the one that had the name of the dementia that they found in the room and like he would have.
- 8:14Carmen Lezeth: I'm not a fan of James Woods on any level, but especially for politics.
- 8:17Carmen Lezeth: I'm just throwing that out there.
- 8:18Carmen Lezeth: But he had come on to CNN and was crying that his house had been demolished, and then it wasn't, and I'm sure the mistake could have been made.
- 8:28Carmen Lezeth: I'm sure, and God, I'm so glad that it's not.
- 8:30Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, but I'm just saying a little painful.
- 8:35Carmen Lezeth: But he helped Alyssa Milano with her horses.
- 8:39Carmen Lezeth: That's good.
- 8:40Carmen Lezeth: I don't care about the celebrity.
- 8:41Carmen Lezeth: I do care about the celebrities, Don't get me wrong.
- 8:44Carmen Lezeth: But like two people I work for lost their homes as well and I'm more concerned with the staff, and so aren't they.
- 8:50Carmen Lezeth: Do you know what I mean?
- 8:51Carmen Lezeth: Like they're more concerned with how do we pay our staff for at least the next three to six months?
- 8:55Carmen Lezeth: How do we do it so that it doesn't interfere with any of the help that they may get, which is really interesting because people need so much help.
- 9:04Carmen Lezeth: But if you're still getting income that could come.
- 9:07Carmen Lezeth: It's not FEMA is not saying that or whatever, but they're trying to be very careful.
- 9:12Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 9:12Carmen Lezeth: To make sure, it's just a really difficult situation.
- 9:15Carmen Lezeth: So I'm sorry, Rick, I didn't mean to put that down, it's just his name is just driving me up a wall lately, because we've been hearing it too much.
- 9:22Carmen Lezeth: People are really suffering and you don't need to jump on CNN to be crying if you're a celebrity to begin with.
- 9:28Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying don't Celebrities everybody who's a celebrity and when I say celebrity I mean you got tons of money.
- 9:34Carmen Lezeth: I don't care what you've lost.
- 9:36Carmen Lezeth: Don't get on fucking CNN and talk about it.
- 9:38Carmen Lezeth: Just don't.
- 9:38Carmen Lezeth: That's a free PR marketing favor I'm giving you.
- 9:42Carmen Lezeth: Don't go on there and talk about what you've lost and cry Don't, Because your staff is probably in a lot more pain than you are.
- 9:50Carmen Lezeth: You know what I'm saying.
- 9:52Carmen Lezeth: I'm going to be straight up.
- 9:54Carmen Lezeth: Oh, my God, somebody's texting me.
- 9:56Carmen Lezeth: Let's see, is it Mario?
- 9:58Rick Costa: James Woods.
- 10:00Carmen Lezeth: Trust me, child, not going to be James, no Woods motherfucker.
- 10:04Carmen Lezeth: No, what brought to be James?
- 10:05Carmen Lezeth: No Woods motherfucker?
- 10:06Cynthia Lopez: No, what brought you joy?
- 10:07Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, what brought you joy, Rick?
- 10:09Carmen Lezeth: I told you, I rented Chick-fil-A.
- 10:10Carmen Lezeth: What do you mean Chick-fil-A?
- 10:12Carmen Lezeth: Oh, is that where you ordered from?
- 10:14Cynthia Lopez: Yeah, I didn't hear Chick-fil-A, Remember he got that thing, the credit?
- 10:21Carmen Lezeth: Oh, because he got the credit, but he didn't say he ordered from Chick-fil-A.
- 10:24Rick Costa: Yeah, I definitely said it, Maybe somebody.
- 10:25Carmen Lezeth: I thought it was.
- 10:26Carmen Lezeth: You said DoorDash, so I didn't know it was a specific restaurant.
- 10:29Carmen Lezeth: I've never been to a Chick-fil-A.
- 10:32Carmen Lezeth: I don't think we have them in California, do we?
- 10:34Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if we do, they're good and overpriced but they are good.
- 10:50Carmen Lezeth: You know, you know who else is overpriced.
- 10:51Carmen Lezeth: Not to be talking about fast food again, because fast food and relationship seems to be the thing we talk about.
- 10:53Carmen Lezeth: I don't know.
- 10:54Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what that says about us, but, um, overpriced is a what's that place that I went to shake, shack shake.
- 10:56Carmen Lezeth: I went in there one time I was like I'll have a double cheeseburger and fries and I'll have a shake and it was like $22.
- 11:05Carmen Lezeth: I'm like stop, oh my God.
- 11:08Carmen Lezeth: But it was really good, right, I didn't think it was that good.
- 11:11Carmen Lezeth: I was not impressed.
- 11:13Rick Costa: I mean the one here.
- 11:15Rick Costa: It's all right, it's not like wow.
- 11:17Carmen Lezeth: Do you like Shake Shack, Cynthia?
- 11:19Carmen Lezeth: I do.
- 11:20Carmen Lezeth: What do you usually get?
- 11:22Carmen Lezeth: The double cheeseburger and fries?
- 11:25Carmen Lezeth: I don't think it's that good.
- 11:26Carmen Lezeth: Rick, do you think it's that good?
- 11:29Rick Costa: Like I just said, I think it's alright.
- 11:31Carmen Lezeth: Look it.
- 11:31Carmen Lezeth: If they want me to try it again and they want to sponsor the show, I'm sure I can find a way.
- 11:37Carmen Lezeth: Oh, I can try it again, and maybe I just had a bad experience at once at Shake Shack, I have no idea.
- 11:45Carmen Lezeth: But I'll tell you another place I'm not a big fan of.
- 11:47Carmen Lezeth: I shouldn't be saying this because we will never be sponsored, but you know, I love California with all my heart.
- 11:52Carmen Lezeth: I did a whole podcast about why I love California.
- 11:55Carmen Lezeth: I think you guys listen to it, whatever.
- 11:56Carmen Lezeth: Because I thought people needed to know.
- 11:59Carmen Lezeth: People like to disc California and California is awesome.
- 12:02Carmen Lezeth: But one of the places that I am not a fan of is In-N-Out Burger.
- 12:07Carmen Lezeth: Like people get so mad at me.
- 12:08Carmen Lezeth: I'm like I've never had it.
- 12:10Carmen Lezeth: Okay, next time you come, we'll go to In-N-Out Burger, cause it is supposed to be like the best fast food ever and I'm just like.
- 12:17Carmen Lezeth: I've been there so many times I've.
- 12:18Carmen Lezeth: When places you work, they sometimes we're going to have a treat today, everyone we're going to bring in and out and I'm like, oh, I feel like I'll just have a salad thanks that place and Whataburger, I think, are like more southern I think.
- 12:38Carmen Lezeth: In-N-Out is not southern In-N-Out is a California establishment.
- 12:42Rick Costa: I've never had that.
- 12:43Rick Costa: I did have Whataburger in Texas and again people were like, oh my gosh Did you love it?
- 12:48Carmen Lezeth: Oh, you didn't, but I think you hardcore.
- 12:54Rick Costa: Like you have expectations.
- 12:55Rick Costa: I like me a good burger, for sure.
- 12:57Rick Costa: Five Guys I like a lot.
- 12:58Rick Costa: But that is so expensive.
- 13:00Rick Costa: Now it's ridiculous.
- 13:01Carmen Lezeth: Are they more expensive than Shake Shack?
- 13:04Carmen Lezeth: Probably about the same.
- 13:05Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, it's ridiculous.
- 13:06Carmen Lezeth: Are they more expensive than Shake Shack?
- 13:06Carmen Lezeth: Probably about the same.
- 13:07Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry, $22 for a fast food hamburger.
- 13:13Rick Costa: I saw this crazy video.
- 13:14Rick Costa: This girl went up to the guy at Five Guys and she's like hey, how you doing?
- 13:19Rick Costa: She's like, hi, how can I help you?
- 13:20Rick Costa: She goes where's the Five Guys?
- 13:22Rick Costa: Huh, are they in a room in the back?
- 13:25Rick Costa: Ma'am, I'm not sure what you mean.
- 13:27Rick Costa: How about just you?
- 13:29Rick Costa: How about you and me?
- 13:30Rick Costa: We just go to the back.
- 13:30Carmen Lezeth: I was like Okay, what are we talking about?
- 13:33Carmen Lezeth: Why are you changing this?
- 13:33Carmen Lezeth: I just thought it was crazy.
- 13:35Carmen Lezeth: Okay, you're spending too much time, baby, on whatever you're watching.
- 13:40Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what's going on.
- 13:42Rick Costa: At least I didn't say this is going to be funny.
- 13:44Carmen Lezeth: I was smart, I know I'm very proud of you Because you have learned the lesson.
- 13:49Carmen Lezeth: If you set it up that it's going to be funny, it's not going to be funny.
- 13:52Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 13:52Cynthia Lopez: Trying to get all his TikToks in before it's gone.
- 13:56Rick Costa: Oh, that's another thing that happened to me yesterday.
- 13:58Rick Costa: I was broadcasting and then all of a sudden TikTok went.
- 14:02Rick Costa: Where did my TikTok go?
- 14:05Rick Costa: And I said violation.
- 14:06Rick Costa: Blah, blah, blah.
- 14:07Rick Costa: Because I said, see, I'm not going to say it here either.
- 14:10Rick Costa: Now you have to talk in code.
- 14:13Rick Costa: I mentioned the word of you making your life not be anymore.
- 14:18Rick Costa: Do you know what?
- 14:19Carmen Lezeth: I mean.
- 14:21Rick Costa: Oh, you have to say unalived.
- 14:22Carmen Lezeth: That's why you have to say the word unalived.
- 14:25Carmen Lezeth: I was like.
- 14:25Rick Costa: that's why you have to say the word unalived.
- 14:26Rick Costa: You can't say times already and that never happened.
- 14:27Rick Costa: But anyway, so you have to hit appeal and this and that and then like not even 10 minutes later I was back to normal again.
- 14:33Rick Costa: But originally I said you can't broadcast live to the 22nd.
- 14:36Rick Costa: I'm like why?
- 14:37Rick Costa: But anyway, yeah, then it was fixed yeah, it's just an algorithm thing.
- 14:42Carmen Lezeth: They have a code so that, like, if you say certain words, they automatically it's, you know.
- 14:45Carmen Lezeth: Algorithm thing.
- 14:45Carmen Lezeth: They have a code so that, like, if you say certain words, they automatically you know.
- 14:48Carmen Lezeth: I'm fine with it, I'm okay with that.
- 14:50Carmen Lezeth: Listen, I think they need, like, if you're going to restrict certain things, like the whole TikTok ban, I think is a huge farce.
- 14:58Carmen Lezeth: I think you all know how I feel about it.
- 14:59Carmen Lezeth: It's all bullshit If anything like I sneeze and somehow Google is able to tell me what Kleenex I should fucking buy and how much it costs.
- 15:08Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 15:09Carmen Lezeth: Like, google and Facebook and all of these social media apps have all of our information and I think what's really kind of sad is that TikTok is being what's the word?
- 15:21Carmen Lezeth: They're being targeted because they have an algorithm that is just incredible and they have a community that has not been matched on facebook or youtube or anywhere else.
- 15:34Carmen Lezeth: The thing about tiktok that's pretty incredible is let me just say hi to mario.
- 15:39Carmen Lezeth: Hey, mario, how you doing.
- 15:44Carmen Lezeth: Let me just finish this thought about t.
- 15:46Carmen Lezeth: What ends up happening is on TikTok.
- 15:48Carmen Lezeth: For those of you who are not on TikTok, it's not just that it's a community.
- 15:53Carmen Lezeth: It's that you really can go from.
- 15:57Carmen Lezeth: You can walk down the street of TikTok and you can literally go across the street and get makeup tips, then go into some church and get the Lord's Prayer or whatever you want, and then go to another restaurant, learn how to cook and then go across the street, and it's just this awesome kind of community where people really enjoy each other.
- 16:17Carmen Lezeth: Someone said on Facebook they're like oh, I can't believe people are so obsessed with the dancing app.
- 16:22Carmen Lezeth: I'm like you don't know TikTok.
- 16:24Carmen Lezeth: Tiktok has not been a dancing app since.
- 16:25Carmen Lezeth: It'm like you don't know TikTok.
- 16:25Carmen Lezeth: Tiktok has not been a dancing app since it was musically almost five, six years ago.
- 16:29Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 16:31Carmen Lezeth: And so I think TikTok is being targeted by people like Mark Zuckerberg, like people who own YouTube, because they've been lobbying them for the past year, because, I'm sorry, we're a capitalist country and we don't want somebody else making more money when we can be making it right, when some big CEO, billionaire, can be making it, and so they've been lobbying for this ban for so long.
- 16:56Carmen Lezeth: And so I'm a big fan of TikTok.
- 16:58Carmen Lezeth: I think TikTok is incredible and before I hear all the oh, but China's going to steal.
- 17:02Carmen Lezeth: I want you to go walk into your kitchen and tell me where your microwave is made.
- 17:09Carmen Lezeth: I want you to go into your living room and tell me where your TV is made.
- 17:13Carmen Lezeth: By the way, they make iPhones, and most Americans are the people who use iPhones.
- 17:20Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean, like?
- 17:21Carmen Lezeth: So I'm just saying the idea that TikTok is out there trying to figure out a social media app that is owned by a Singapore man, by the way.
- 17:31Carmen Lezeth: Singapore and China, two different places, two different places.
- 17:35Carmen Lezeth: Tim Cotton, who doesn't know the difference.
- 17:37Carmen Lezeth: But okay, I think that if China wants to kind of do something to us, they're not going to go to the extent of let's find an app, a social media app, where people dance and then get them addicted and then find a way, like that's too much work, they can just put that shit in your iPhones while they're making them.
- 18:01Rick Costa: But even stuff that's so-called American made parts are still coming from China for that stuff, Of course.
- 18:08Carmen Lezeth: Of course.
- 18:08Carmen Lezeth: So this, to me, is just a big farce.
- 18:11Carmen Lezeth: It's also about this otherizing.
- 18:13Carmen Lezeth: You know what I would respect I would respect Mark Zuckerberg so much more and all these mofos if they just said you know what?
- 18:19Carmen Lezeth: We want our companies to be profitable, we want American companies to own this app, and that's why we're doing it.
- 18:26Carmen Lezeth: I would at least have respect, but this bullshit that they're doing something, whereas again, I'm not trying to bring up this whole thing, but we all know you go look at a pair of shoes one time you could be even on your secret whatever your secret browser and looking at a pair of shoes and all of a sudden every kind of shoe comes up for the next like three months, until you motherfucking buy them, damn shoes.
- 18:52Carmen Lezeth: That's google, okay, that's google.
- 18:57Cynthia Lopez: that's facebook, even now, walmart I go to walmart.
- 19:01Cynthia Lopez: Okay, I didn't even buy it online, I actually went into the store, purchased my items and if I go the next day to Walmartcom because I might have forgot something, all my recent purchases are already listed on there.
- 19:17Carmen Lezeth: It's just a craziness.
- 19:18Carmen Lezeth: So we'll see what happens.
- 19:20Carmen Lezeth: Melanie said when was TikTok a dance app?
- 19:23Carmen Lezeth: I've never seen any dancing happens.
- 19:25Carmen Lezeth: Melanie said when was TikTok a dance app?
- 19:26Carmen Lezeth: I've never seen any dancing.
- 19:27Carmen Lezeth: So if you don't see any dancing because you're not, if you go into your search engine and look for dancing, you'll see it.
- 19:31Carmen Lezeth: I always watch all the dancing, ballet, all of it, all the jamming, all the street, just all of it.
- 19:37Carmen Lezeth: But here's the thing it used to be called Musically M-U-S-I-C dot L-Y and that's how the app started.
- 19:49Carmen Lezeth: It was like a lip syncing music app where people were dancing.
- 19:51Carmen Lezeth: So if you're not seeing dancing on TikTok, it's because you're not looking for it.
- 19:54Carmen Lezeth: So the algorithm keeps learning from whatever you're liking and that's what you'll continuously see.
- 20:00Carmen Lezeth: So like I typed into the search, into the search engine, opera, because I wanted to kind of start learning more about opera, and then the algorithm was like learning that that's what I wanted to see.
- 20:11Carmen Lezeth: So now I see a lot of people talking about opera and they're not a fun bunch.
- 20:16Carmen Lezeth: I'm just going to throw that out there Like I've made a mistake.
- 20:18Carmen Lezeth: I got to change the algorithm.
- 20:20Carmen Lezeth: They're very angry about anybody who isn't like really opera.
- 20:24Carmen Lezeth: That's a whole other issue.
- 20:26Carmen Lezeth: But before we go on, mario, how you doing.
- 20:29Maurio Dawson: I'm doing well.
- 20:30Maurio Dawson: Happy belated birthday, love.
- 20:33Carmen Lezeth: Thank you so much.
- 20:35Maurio Dawson: Happy belated birthday.
- 20:37Carmen Lezeth: Let me tell you I'm celebrating February 12th because this was not fair.
- 20:42Maurio Dawson: I know, I know.
- 20:44Carmen Lezeth: Thank you, Mario.
- 20:45Carmen Lezeth: How are you doing?
- 20:46Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I know things are better here in Santa Monica, but how are you doing where you're at?
- 20:49Maurio Dawson: We're good.
- 20:50Maurio Dawson: Now Everything's back to normal.
- 20:53Maurio Dawson: You know, you still smell a little smoke here and there.
- 20:58Maurio Dawson: Yeah, ash is still falling, but all in all, we're fine.
- 21:01Maurio Dawson: Look, as long as we have a roof over our head and we have our loved ones, we're good.
- 21:05Maurio Dawson: And even if we don't have a roof over our head, as long as we have our loved ones, we're still good.
- 21:10Maurio Dawson: So we're fine.
- 21:11Maurio Dawson: Everything is good.
- 21:12Maurio Dawson: You see my same old background.
- 21:14Maurio Dawson: That means I'm still here.
- 21:16Carmen Lezeth: You know, what's so funny too is I was telling Rick and Cynthia that I did a whole podcast just about how much I love Los Angeles, and somebody on TikTok said and I'm going to steal it for a moment we can have, you know, an earthquake under our feet, movement under our feet, we can have the fires, we can have all the smoke, we can have whatever issues you think we have in California, and I still would not live where you live.
- 21:42Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 21:42Carmen Lezeth: And that was a tick tock like, because California is so beautiful and I don't mean just Los Angeles, but California in general is just so.
- 21:51Carmen Lezeth: There's so many things about it and it's coming through right now.
- 21:55Carmen Lezeth: Oh, my God, you can see it so shining Like it's incredible, right?
- 22:01Maurio Dawson: Yes, for sure, and it's the camaraderie and the the community has really come forward for all of us and it's just been wonderful.
- 22:12Maurio Dawson: And, um, even when I were in the grocery store this after this evening trying to pick up some dinner and the poor lady in front of us she her house.
- 22:21Maurio Dawson: She lost her house so she was just shaken up but people were still saying, oh, we got you, it's all good.
- 22:28Maurio Dawson: And people were still giving love and support.
- 22:30Maurio Dawson: Strangers were just being supportive.
- 22:32Maurio Dawson: So LA, not just LA California is amazing and we get all four seasons, depending on where you go.
- 22:39Maurio Dawson: So you can go up north, you can get snow, you can get brown leaves and orange leaves if you want, you get the beautiful green stuff, you get the ocean.
- 22:50Carmen Lezeth: Look lay off my california, because you know that's I guess people are always hating on california and you know and I I know we don't usually talk about politics here, but even the kind of adolescent conversation donald trump calling governor newsome, governor, new scum like just such the the kind of weird belittling of our governor, who is doing an amazing job yes and all of the lies that are just being through.
- 23:20Carmen Lezeth: I watched the fox news.
- 23:22Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what I was.
- 23:23Carmen Lezeth: It was my birthday.
- 23:25Carmen Lezeth: I was pissed and I was like let me, just let me see what's going on in fox news, because I know they got love, I know they gonna be your bad two hours.
- 23:34Carmen Lezeth: I forced myself to watch fox news for two hours and I'm telling you it was lie after lie after lie, people, people.
- 23:46Carmen Lezeth: Fox news is not your friend and, and here's the thing, I, when I get political whatever and I know a lot of people watch fox news, but I'm just, I'm here, I live here, I work in the palisades of malibu.
- 24:00Carmen Lezeth: I know this part of town.
- 24:02Carmen Lezeth: I see people here.
- 24:05Carmen Lezeth: I saw firemen, fire persons, like it's just a weird thing to to see what's going on and then turn to your news and be like what?
- 24:16Carmen Lezeth: right right so just be careful.
- 24:21Carmen Lezeth: There's so many lies.
- 24:22Carmen Lezeth: Nobody, nobody made fire trucks stop to get somewhere at environmental tag before they could help us with the fire bullshit.
- 24:32Carmen Lezeth: You know like that was a lie.
- 24:34Carmen Lezeth: There was plenty of water.
- 24:36Carmen Lezeth: This idea that there was no water in the pumps and that what happened is somehow gavin newsom was stopping it to preserve some fucking fish again.
- 24:46Carmen Lezeth: You know what's so funny.
- 24:48Carmen Lezeth: I don't even need to defend it.
- 24:49Carmen Lezeth: It's so absurd.
- 24:51Carmen Lezeth: You have to be a person who lives in a place of such negativity to believe such absurdity.
- 25:01Carmen Lezeth: What actually happened is the amount of water just to dumb it down for the dumbasses, the amount of water that was being used by all the firemen during this whole ridiculousness had made it hard for the pumping service to then regenerate that water back into that pumping cycle.
- 25:22Carmen Lezeth: So it wasn't like there was plenty of water.
- 25:26Carmen Lezeth: Plenty of water, by the way.
- 25:28Carmen Lezeth: We have the fucking ocean.
- 25:29Carmen Lezeth: What is wrong with you people?
- 25:33Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying the lies.
- 25:36Carmen Lezeth: Look at before it was about politics Republican, democrat but I'm just saying the lies during this fire.
- 25:42Carmen Lezeth: If you cannot figure out that Fox news is full of fucking shit, I don't know what to tell you.
- 25:48Carmen Lezeth: We can fight about politics if you want.
- 25:51Carmen Lezeth: But this for me, I was like mind blown.
- 25:55Carmen Lezeth: Go ahead, mari.
- 25:55Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry.
- 25:57Maurio Dawson: No, listen, I'm going to veer off from the television.
- 26:00Maurio Dawson: Well, I am going to stay on television, but I got to call out the Kardashians for the lies they were spewing, the foolishness and dumb effery of it all.
- 26:13Carmen Lezeth: Dumb fuckery, I'll say a dumb fuckery for you.
- 26:15Maurio Dawson: Of them all and they were the biggest wasters of water.
- 26:21Maurio Dawson: And guess who called them out?
- 26:23Maurio Dawson: Rolling Stone.
- 26:25Maurio Dawson: There's an article out Rolling Stone, there's an article there.
- 26:31Maurio Dawson: They were like Kardashians.
- 26:32Maurio Dawson: You might want to slow your roll and put your put it on mute.
- 26:34Maurio Dawson: Just go sit down and mind your business.
- 26:36Maurio Dawson: And then it was hilarious because Yvette Nicole Brown reposted it and she said are you joking?
- 26:45Maurio Dawson: Do you have the audacity to open your mouth and speak on something you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about and you're the most wasteful of them all so please, the kardashians education, I'm sorry.
- 27:01Carmen Lezeth: What is their expertise?
- 27:03Maurio Dawson: I don't know, um, their father attorney, but that's a I you know.
- 27:09Maurio Dawson: Do they live in LA?
- 27:10Maurio Dawson: They live in Calabasas, which is not, it's, it's, they're, they're.
- 27:16Maurio Dawson: They have nothing to do with the Palisades fires whatsoever.
- 27:19Maurio Dawson: But they were speaking on something.
- 27:21Maurio Dawson: They had no clue what they're talking about.
- 27:23Maurio Dawson: They were closer to the Kenneth fire.
- 27:26Maurio Dawson: They were closer to the kenneth fire, so they were, you know, they were worried about their little stuff, but they weren't even in in proximity to the fire.
- 27:35Maurio Dawson: So please, don't speak on something you don't know what you're talking about.
- 27:40Maurio Dawson: Have several seats and mind your business, so are they?
- 27:45Rick Costa: trying to act like I'm sorry.
- 27:46Maurio Dawson: Were they trying to act like victims?
- 27:47Maurio Dawson: No, they were trying to they.
- 27:49Rick Costa: They trying to act like victims.
- 27:50Maurio Dawson: I'm sorry.
- 27:51Maurio Dawson: Were they trying to act like victims?
- 27:52Maurio Dawson: No, they were trying to act like victims, but they were more or less trying to call out politics, call out Karen Bass and call out the governor.
- 27:57Maurio Dawson: They had some horse in the race when you absolutely had no horse in that race.
- 28:02Maurio Dawson: So be quiet, just sit down.
- 28:06Maurio Dawson: As Beyonce would say, look around, everybody's on mute.
- 28:13Carmen Lezeth: Clearly not.
- 28:13Carmen Lezeth: Look, here's the thing who you are is really tested in these moments, right, who we are as individuals is not tested when things are fine.
- 28:22Carmen Lezeth: It is not tested when things are okay.
- 28:24Carmen Lezeth: It's really easy to be a good motherfucking person when things are all right.
- 28:27Carmen Lezeth: But who are you in an emergency and how do you use the power that you do have?
- 28:32Carmen Lezeth: Because here's the problem kardashians, who, again, I am grateful to say I wouldn't know if one was standing in front of me because I don't know who these motherfuckers look like.
- 28:40Carmen Lezeth: I really don't.
- 28:41Carmen Lezeth: I feel so grateful that I've never seen shit that they've ever done.
- 28:44Carmen Lezeth: I know right, I feel so lucky.
- 28:48Carmen Lezeth: But here's the problem you can't use your power, no matter what your power is, in that negative way.
- 28:54Carmen Lezeth: You cannot.
- 28:55Carmen Lezeth: That is a lot of power, and when you do that, you feed the bullshittery that just scares people.
- 29:02Maurio Dawson: And I don't see anything where they're writing a check like other people.
- 29:06Maurio Dawson: Are Chris Hemsworth $25 million?
- 29:08Maurio Dawson: Are Chris Hemsworth $25?
- 29:09Carmen Lezeth: million?
- 29:09Carmen Lezeth: What?
- 29:09Carmen Lezeth: Chris Hemsworth, who no longer lives here by the way, he does not live in Malibu anymore.
- 29:19Maurio Dawson: Whoopi Goldberg, who lost her house, gave $10 million.
- 29:22Maurio Dawson: So come on now.
- 29:22Maurio Dawson: If you're going to talk on it, if you're going to be about it, be about it.
- 29:32Carmen Lezeth: You know Well, I think, that they're just using this time to promote themselves right because now we're talking about them.
- 29:34Carmen Lezeth: They're stupid people moving on.
- 29:35Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what they do.
- 29:36Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what they do.
- 29:37Carmen Lezeth: I don't know why they're famous because, like you said, their father was a lawyer for the oj simpson okay, let's, let's back it up.
- 29:43Maurio Dawson: Her mother capitalized on her porn tape with Ray-Ban.
- 29:48Carmen Lezeth: Okay, we're going to bring it up.
- 29:50Carmen Lezeth: No, no, but that's where this?
- 29:52Maurio Dawson: all came from, if you really want to know where it all came from, no, I don't want to know.
- 29:55Carmen Lezeth: You know what?
- 29:56Carmen Lezeth: La, la, la, la la.
- 29:59Maurio Dawson: Come on, cynthia, you know.
- 30:03Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying, but I'm just saying, I'm not saying you don't have to talk.
- 30:15Carmen Lezeth: I'm saying they are at fault for whatever.
- 30:16Carmen Lezeth: I know their names and I know that when they speak, especially kids listen or whatever.
- 30:19Carmen Lezeth: They do stuff that has to do with younger people or whatever makeup or whatever, and so that bothers me, right, and the fact that they have been in.
- 30:24Carmen Lezeth: And you know I have no problem with Botox and women doing what they got to do to make themselves feel as beautiful as they want.
- 30:30Carmen Lezeth: What I do have a problem with is people pretending that they look the way they look without doing all the crap that I know these bitches have done.
- 30:37Carmen Lezeth: Okay, so I don't like I know I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
- 30:42Carmen Lezeth: My goddaughter once told me she was like oh, I just wish I looked, no, stop.
- 30:48Carmen Lezeth: I.
- 30:48Carmen Lezeth: My goddaughter once told me she was like oh, I just wish I looked, no, stop, I was like we're not having that conversation, we're not having that because that that's not how they look no I already know that's not how they actually look.
- 30:57Carmen Lezeth: No, not at all?
- 30:58Rick Costa: not at all I was born this way.
- 31:01Rick Costa: No, the doctor made you look that way, right exactly let's go back to their childhood pictures.
- 31:08Cynthia Lopez: They look a lot different.
- 31:09Maurio Dawson: That part, especially Kylie, who was the richest and promoting cosmetics.
- 31:16Maurio Dawson: It looked nothing like she did when she was a kid.
- 31:21Cynthia Lopez: She had no lips as a kid.
- 31:23Maurio Dawson: But you're making billions of dollars on lipstick and plumpers.
- 31:31Carmen Lezeth: Right, Right, let's move on to our next subject.
- 31:35Carmen Lezeth: Let's move on.
- 31:36Carmen Lezeth: It's not even our next subject.
- 31:38Carmen Lezeth: I just wanted to.
- 31:39Carmen Lezeth: I have one announcement to make because I think it's important for anyone who may be listening.
- 31:43Carmen Lezeth: I know we're not sponsored by AARP, but I do want to point out not yet anyway but I do want to point out an article that I read in there today.
- 31:57Carmen Lezeth: So, if anyone is interested, if you have any need for tax services, if you go onto the AARP site and you put in your zip code, they will send you sites of places where you can get tax information, tax help, for free.
- 32:13Carmen Lezeth: I was shook about it.
- 32:15Carmen Lezeth: You know how expensive it is to get your taxes done, yes, very.
- 32:19Carmen Lezeth: So I thought that was worth promoting, even though they don't sponsor us yet.
- 32:24Carmen Lezeth: But I'm just saying I think that is another reason why you should have a subscription.
- 32:29Carmen Lezeth: There's a lot of stuff on AARP, and that one is a great one.
- 32:33Maurio Dawson: I have mine.
- 32:35Carmen Lezeth: I have mine.
- 32:35Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia, you got yours.
- 32:37Carmen Lezeth: I think Cynthia's the only one who got one.
- 32:40Carmen Lezeth: Rick, you don't have AARP.
- 32:42Rick Costa: I mean, yeah, I'm signed up with them, yeah.
- 32:45Carmen Lezeth: Oh, that's right, because you have the.
- 32:46Carmen Lezeth: You, I'm signed up with them.
- 32:47Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I got the app.
- 32:48Carmen Lezeth: Oh, that's right, cause you have the.
- 32:49Rick Costa: You watch their sex information.
- 32:50Rick Costa: Oh stop.
- 32:53Carmen Lezeth: Oh, my God, right, you have tagged.
- 32:59Rick Costa: Learning is fundamental.
- 33:00Rick Costa: You don't say talk about the Kardashians.
- 33:04Cynthia Lopez: Sorry, that's kind of funny.
- 33:05Cynthia Lopez: Okay, I'm sorry.
- 33:06Carmen Lezeth: Maybe that was me, but I'm sorry, that's kind of funny.
- 33:08Cynthia Lopez: Okay, I'm sorry, maybe that was mean but I'm just saying cause you saw that article that none of us saw.
- 33:15Cynthia Lopez: We went from Kardashians having sex at young age to old people having sex.
- 33:17Cynthia Lopez: It was so funny.
- 33:20Carmen Lezeth: It was so great because, remember I was like I don't understand what's wrong with kind of forced him to have to talk about the.
- 33:26Carmen Lezeth: He didn't want to see elder people having what was it like masturbation, sorry rick.
- 33:36Carmen Lezeth: Look at rick.
- 33:37Carmen Lezeth: This is rick.
- 33:38Cynthia Lopez: Pissed everyone hi brian, how are you?
- 33:47Carmen Lezeth: rick, I am so sorry.
- 33:51Maurio Dawson: Put him on first three why don't?
- 33:53Carmen Lezeth: you.
- 33:54Cynthia Lopez: I'm sorry.
- 33:54Rick Costa: It's all content.
- 33:56Rick Costa: It's fine.
- 33:56Carmen Lezeth: It's all content.
- 33:57Carmen Lezeth: I don't want it to be at your expense, but that was kind of funny.
- 34:00Carmen Lezeth: Okay, do you guys?
- 34:05Carmen Lezeth: I know Mario might have some input, but I want to hear from the other two first and then we'll hear Mario.
- 34:09Carmen Lezeth: Do you guys have any thoughts about the award ceremonies?
- 34:13Carmen Lezeth: Just so you know, we just got all of our SAG information regarding watching all of the movies so that we can start.
- 34:19Carmen Lezeth: They've already been nominated and we have to start watching and they're going to have the award ceremony, I think in February or something I forget, but the Oscars are going to go on.
- 34:31Carmen Lezeth: I wanted to know if you guys had any thoughts on it, regarding it being shown or not being shown.
- 34:36Cynthia Lopez: Rick cynthia um, no, I think I think that's a good idea.
- 34:40Cynthia Lopez: It kind of keeps people's mind away from the disaster and stuff, and you can see something good on tv.
- 34:46Cynthia Lopez: Um, I do think, though, instead of them having the swag bags or anything like that, they definitely should donate money.
- 34:53Cynthia Lopez: I don't know if they are or not, but don't donate that money to the, to the cause.
- 34:57Carmen Lezeth: So yeah, it's going to be a fundraiser, all of them.
- 35:00Carmen Lezeth: I think I'm going to be fundraised some sort.
- 35:03Maurio Dawson: Yeah, there are going to be fundraisers this year.
- 35:05Maurio Dawson: There are going to be fundraisers this year.
- 35:07Carmen Lezeth: Okay, Rick thoughts.
- 35:09Rick Costa: Yeah, I was like go ahead and do it and use it as a platform to help all the stuff going on now.
- 35:14Rick Costa: Why not?
- 35:16Carmen Lezeth: I think the controversy was when the fires were beginning, because they're still burning, so I don't want to pretend that they're done, but there was this kind of idea not to have them whatever.
- 35:28Carmen Lezeth: And I was saying I was agreeing, and then I was like you know what, though, if I was nominated, we'd be on the rubble of your house having that ceremony because I would be accepting my award and making my motherfucking speech.
- 35:39Carmen Lezeth: I worked so hard for it.
- 35:40Cynthia Lopez: When when, when.
- 35:42Carmen Lezeth: Yes, considering I haven't been in a movie in a very long time, but yes, when it happens, all About the Joy is going to be nominated.
- 35:49Cynthia Lopez: Okay, are we going to be nominated?
- 35:53Carmen Lezeth: for an Emmy for TV, because that's what we would eventually, but we can do it.
- 35:57Maurio Dawson: We can get a Webby now we can get a Webby now thank God, who's the head of my life?
- 36:03Maurio Dawson: I'm just kidding we can get a Webby right now.
- 36:08Carmen Lezeth: I don't know about a Webby, but okay, what we need is people to like the show.
- 36:13Carmen Lezeth: So if you're watching right now on YouTube, there's some of you watching.
- 36:16Carmen Lezeth: Please do thumbs up.
- 36:18Carmen Lezeth: We appreciate it so much.
- 36:20Carmen Lezeth: We need more kind of active people participating in the liking.
- 36:24Carmen Lezeth: Let me tell you we have have a loyal, loyal watcher and follower.
- 36:31Carmen Lezeth: Even when I do my single podcast, I get a thumbs down.
- 36:36Carmen Lezeth: I'm like this person is following, like um I love them.
- 36:40Cynthia Lopez: Thank you for your support.
- 36:43Carmen Lezeth: It's all good because it it helps to show because everyone's like liking, liking, liking.
- 36:48Carmen Lezeth: Then there's always one not liking.
- 36:49Carmen Lezeth: So it's good because it makes it look like you know you got to have diversity in what people like and don't like.
- 36:56Carmen Lezeth: You have to you know what I mean.
- 36:58Cynthia Lopez: And what they're doing.
- 36:58Cynthia Lopez: They're basically making people intrigued, like why don't this?
- 37:01Cynthia Lopez: How come this person doesn't like it?
- 37:03Cynthia Lopez: Let me watch the video and see.
- 37:04Cynthia Lopez: Let me watch the video and see.
- 37:05Carmen Lezeth: Makes me happy.
- 37:06Carmen Lezeth: It's okay.
- 37:07Carmen Lezeth: I just like the loyalty.
- 37:08Carmen Lezeth: I love it.
- 37:09Carmen Lezeth: You're loyal haters.
- 37:12Carmen Lezeth: Hey, you got to have some haters because then you're doing it right.
- 37:15Carmen Lezeth: That's what my person told me.
- 37:17Carmen Lezeth: They were like if you have haters, you're doing something right.
- 37:20Carmen Lezeth: Let your haters be your motivators.
- 37:24Carmen Lezeth: Ooh, Let your haters be your motivators.
- 37:26Carmen Lezeth: Did you come up with that on your own?
- 37:28Maurio Dawson: No, I got that from somebody else, but it's still good.
- 37:30Maurio Dawson: Let your haters be your motivators.
- 37:33Maurio Dawson: I got that years ago.
- 37:36Carmen Lezeth: Was that almost close.
- 37:37Carmen Lezeth: Look at Mario's like.
- 37:40Maurio Dawson: How's Chris Gale doing?
- 37:41Maurio Dawson: I haven't you know what.
- 37:45Carmen Lezeth: He works all the time.
- 37:47Maurio Dawson: Yeah.
- 37:48Carmen Lezeth: Working all the time he's always on TikTok.
- 37:52Carmen Lezeth: Is it better now or no?
- 38:00Carmen Lezeth: We need you to talk more.
- 38:01Maurio Dawson: Oh, sing a song, give us an A and B selection for the church.
- 38:07Cynthia Lopez: No, it's the same, my voice is not great.
- 38:10Carmen Lezeth: What do you mean?
- 38:10Carmen Lezeth: Your voice is not great, not so silly.
- 38:13Carmen Lezeth: No, okay, what else you guys want to talk about?
- 38:17Carmen Lezeth: What else is going on in life, what you guys got coming up, what you guys buy me for my birthday?
- 38:21Carmen Lezeth: That's really what I want to know.
- 38:23Carmen Lezeth: Okay, because I had a birthday on sunday.
- 38:26Carmen Lezeth: I didn't see no gifts.
- 38:27Carmen Lezeth: I understood, understood fires.
- 38:28Carmen Lezeth: Maybe the mail didn't come, or whatever.
- 38:30Maurio Dawson: This stripper man is on his way.
- 38:34Carmen Lezeth: A stripper, man A stripper man.
- 38:36Carmen Lezeth: His name is DeMar too, oh my God, do you guys think I'm like hard up or something?
- 38:44Carmen Lezeth: Is that what it is?
- 38:45Maurio Dawson: Not at all.
- 38:46Maurio Dawson: I think you just enjoy it.
- 38:48Maurio Dawson: That's all.
- 38:48Maurio Dawson: A little trickle of dance, a little money in his pants.
- 38:55Carmen Lezeth: Oh, my Lord.
- 38:56Carmen Lezeth: Okay, we're going to change the subject Clearly, lord, what is one gift you would want if somebody were to buy it for you?
- 39:05Carmen Lezeth: Something that you can't afford, or you can't afford, but you don't think it's worth buying?
- 39:10Carmen Lezeth: What would you want?
- 39:11Maurio Dawson: A new television Really?
- 39:14Maurio Dawson: Yes, I need one desperately.
- 39:17Maurio Dawson: Why?
- 39:19Maurio Dawson: Because the television I have, well, it's.
- 39:22Maurio Dawson: When it comes on, you know how.
- 39:24Maurio Dawson: Only half the screen comes on until it warms up.
- 39:26Maurio Dawson: It's that old, oh no, it's time.
- 39:29Maurio Dawson: Yeah, it's time.
- 39:29Maurio Dawson: So, like I have to wait like six minutes for the TV to warm up, for the whole screen to come on, and yeah, I need it.
- 39:35Carmen Lezeth: Yeah.
- 39:36Maurio Dawson: Yeah, I need it.
- 39:37Carmen Lezeth: Was I not having that issue for like eight months?
- 39:40Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia and Rick were like annoyed with me because I, because I would not buy a new.
- 39:45Cynthia Lopez: TV you could turn it off go cook something, come back.
- 39:48Cynthia Lopez: It still wasn't on.
- 39:50Carmen Lezeth: Yeah exactly, it's time, it's time, yes, lord.
- 39:55Rick Costa: I couldn't believe it.
- 39:56Rick Costa: 55-inch TV for free.
- 39:59Rick Costa: Wait a minute, hold up.
- 40:00Rick Costa: How is it for free?
- 40:01Maurio Dawson: Wait what?
- 40:02Rick Costa: So it's a 55-inch TV and then there's a sound strip right under that and then there's another strip of TV and they show commercials on there, and that's where you can control the TV, and I think I guess the idea is they make money off of the commercials.
- 40:22Carmen Lezeth: 55 inch for free, that's not really for free, though you, you, you messing with the free thing.
- 40:25Maurio Dawson: That's not free you have to watch commercials all the time?
- 40:35Maurio Dawson: Yeah, but you can just ignore it.
- 40:36Carmen Lezeth: You watch the no, no no, look at him like no, I get you though, but see I, I mean, I love that line that you say.
- 40:41Carmen Lezeth: You say it a lot.
- 40:41Carmen Lezeth: If it's free, I love that, but the thing is, people, most things there's nothing that's ever For free.
- 40:50Carmen Lezeth: If you're not paying for it, you're the commodity.
- 40:52Carmen Lezeth: So y'all on Facebook putting all your personal Crap and shit.
- 40:56Carmen Lezeth: Facebook is taking all that information.
- 40:59Carmen Lezeth: Melanie just said it must be older than my TV.
- 41:04Maurio Dawson: Oh, mario's, it's kind of old.
- 41:07Maurio Dawson: I think I got this TV.
- 41:09Carmen Lezeth: It's probably about 10 and 12 years old, probably about 12, oh no time to move on yeah, they don't make tv the way they used to, so it's telephone yeah, and joy just said I could do that one, she could do the commercial one.
- 41:23Carmen Lezeth: She said she could do it, she could do it, she could do it Actually right now.
- 41:28Maurio Dawson: Best Buy has a 65-inch for like $300.
- 41:32Maurio Dawson: Yeah, I'm talking to Sam's Club too, so I think I'm going to break down and do it, but I have to do it after I go on my trips.
- 41:41Maurio Dawson: See, I'm always doing trips and music, so that's always getting pushed back to the back burner.
- 41:48Cynthia Lopez: Melanie, is it analog?
- 41:51Maurio Dawson: No, it's not analog.
- 41:54Carmen Lezeth: No, melanie, I had the same problem with my TV and I wouldn't buy one.
- 41:58Carmen Lezeth: It was, like I don't know, for like six months a year.
- 42:00Carmen Lezeth: I'm sure I talked about it on, so many episodes I remember Right Because Cynthia was like buy a new one, Just buy a new one.
- 42:06Carmen Lezeth: It's hard to buy a new TV, though, because there's so many options.
- 42:13Carmen Lezeth: It's such a big deal yeah.
- 42:17Maurio Dawson: I definitely want a larger screen, but I don't want to pay $1,200 for a TV.
- 42:22Maurio Dawson: It's crazy, it's too much.
- 42:26Maurio Dawson: But my mother got a great deal, so I'm just going to follow her lead and go that route.
- 42:31Maurio Dawson: But again I got to wait until I come back from my trips.
- 42:34Carmen Lezeth: What did Rick say?
- 42:36Rick Costa: You didn't want to upgrade your TV, you didn't want to upgrade your cell phone and you didn't want to upgrade your TV.
- 42:41Rick Costa: What's up with all about the Joy-N-Dog?
- 42:42Rick Costa: No.
- 42:43Carmen Lezeth: OK, wait stop.
- 42:48Maurio Dawson: Mario.
- 42:48Cynthia Lopez: Okay, wait, stop Mario.
- 42:49Maurio Dawson: Mario don't do it, mario don't do it.
- 42:50Cynthia Lopez: No, no it comes from me.
- 42:51Maurio Dawson: Unless I stand for you, okay, no.
- 42:53Maurio Dawson: Mario, I'm on your side.
- 42:55Carmen Lezeth: It is not the same thing.
- 42:56Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia has had the same phone since 1957.
- 43:00Maurio Dawson: Right.
- 43:00Carmen Lezeth: That is the same thing, not the same thing.
- 43:03Cynthia Lopez: And I got a tablet now and I do upgrade my phones.
- 43:06Maurio Dawson: I definitely upgrade my phones.
- 43:08Maurio Dawson: I definitely upgrade my phones.
- 43:10Carmen Lezeth: And a TV is a little bit different, but no, look, I've said it before.
- 43:14Carmen Lezeth: I think there are just things that I have more, that I think are more priority and, like Mario just said, he's going to go on his trips and then he don't think about it and I get it yeah.
- 43:22Carmen Lezeth: Oh, Melanie's TV was free, but you said it's really old.
- 43:26Carmen Lezeth: Oh, Melanie's TV was free, but you said it's really old.
- 43:28Maurio Dawson: You said it was really old, it might have been as old as you.
- 43:30Maurio Dawson: Maybe hers is analog, maybe hers is analog.
- 43:37Carmen Lezeth: You know what?
- 43:37Carmen Lezeth: I know this is very old-fashioned what I'm going to say.
- 43:41Carmen Lezeth: I know there are moments where I catch myself.
- 43:44Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, oh my God, I'm so old.
- 43:45Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 43:46Carmen Lezeth: I catch myself all the time now.
- 43:48Carmen Lezeth: But they really don't make TVs or equipment or things the way they used to.
- 43:52Carmen Lezeth: They really don't last as long Like you cannot have a computer for six years.
- 43:57Cynthia Lopez: No, no, it's like every computer you know.
- 44:00Carmen Lezeth: a TV is the same thing and it's so plasticky and cheapy you know?
- 44:04Maurio Dawson: And what annoyed me now with the laptops?
- 44:06Maurio Dawson: We got a laptop during COVID for free, because the kids needed new laptops and stuff.
- 44:14Maurio Dawson: So it said your warranty is up, so you might want to get a new computer because you can't find these parts anymore.
- 44:22Maurio Dawson: That's what the computer told me.
- 44:23Maurio Dawson: Are you serious?
- 44:26Maurio Dawson: Right now Right.
- 44:26Maurio Dawson: No, that, right now Right.
- 44:29Cynthia Lopez: No, that's a smart computer.
- 44:31Maurio Dawson: Yeah, the computer said you need to replace me.
- 44:34Maurio Dawson: I don't want you, no more.
- 44:37Carmen Lezeth: Brian said I upgraded all of my lights on my truck from regular lights to LED.
- 44:42Carmen Lezeth: Okay, melanie said my TV works fine and it's a flat screen.
- 44:47Carmen Lezeth: Oh, excuse me, pardon me I just you know what, rick.
- 44:53Carmen Lezeth: I think it's interesting.
- 44:54Carmen Lezeth: I, you know, I love that.
- 44:56Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia taught me something.
- 44:58Carmen Lezeth: She said that I'm a minimalist.
- 44:59Carmen Lezeth: I do agree with that, but it's not even that I'm a.
- 45:02Carmen Lezeth: I mean, that is true, but the other part of it is like I don't spend money on things I don't think are that important to me.
- 45:07Carmen Lezeth: I love my tv, but I can also spend money.
- 45:10Carmen Lezeth: No, but no, no, no, no, no, cynthia, your phone is important and it's probably hacked and you have no idea.
- 45:18Carmen Lezeth: No, if you have your phone with you every day, don't you?
- 45:22Carmen Lezeth: Every day, you carry your phone?
- 45:23Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, no, not the same thing.
- 45:30Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia keeps trying to find ways to justify having a phone.
- 45:34Carmen Lezeth: That is.
- 45:34Carmen Lezeth: How old is it for real?
- 45:36Carmen Lezeth: Like 2003?
- 45:39Rick Costa: You got Moses in here, don't you?
- 45:44Carmen Lezeth: Um, Georgia said that's what they told us about our heat pump.
- 45:49Carmen Lezeth: That's only seven years old.
- 45:51Carmen Lezeth: What's a heat pump?
- 45:52Carmen Lezeth: I don't know what that is the water tank maybe maybe.
- 45:55Maurio Dawson: So yeah, no, I'm saying we have.
- 45:58Maurio Dawson: My mother has one of those uh pumps.
- 46:03Maurio Dawson: It's a.
- 46:03Maurio Dawson: It's an electric.
- 46:04Maurio Dawson: It's not an electric water heater, but it's one of those water heaters.
- 46:07Maurio Dawson: It only heats up the water and it runs through the house and it's efficient and there's no actual tank.
- 46:13Maurio Dawson: It's a waterless.
- 46:14Maurio Dawson: There it is.
- 46:15Maurio Dawson: It's a tankless water heater, yes, and so it actually.
- 46:19Maurio Dawson: It's electrical and it heats the water up through this little confined machine and the water gets hot.
- 46:25Maurio Dawson: The only drawback it takes like two minutes for the water to get hot.
- 46:29Maurio Dawson: But she saved a lot of money on gas as far as having a tankless water heater, that's what it's called all of it went over my head I totally get it.
- 46:38Carmen Lezeth: I, I owned a condo five years and I really had no idea what was going on at all because I was never there, so but I think that would be where I'd have a tankless water heater thing.
- 46:51Carmen Lezeth: Yes, for sure.
- 46:52Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, right.
- 46:53Carmen Lezeth: Uh, joy said um, oh.
- 46:55Carmen Lezeth: Brian said you love your first seat and eight hundred dollars a night hotels what?
- 47:01Maurio Dawson: he's saying you like this.
- 47:02Maurio Dawson: He says you're bougie, but you won't spend the money on the TV.
- 47:05Maurio Dawson: That's what you can do?
- 47:07Carmen Lezeth: I forgot him and Tony with the bougie Melanie said I still use an iPhone 8 Plus.
- 47:13Carmen Lezeth: I don't even know what that is, because I don't have an iPhone.
- 47:15Carmen Lezeth: Is the iPhone 8 an old one?
- 47:18Maurio Dawson: I have no idea.
- 47:18Carmen Lezeth: Nobody here is an iPhone user.
- 47:22Maurio Dawson: I have no clue, sorry.
- 47:24Cynthia Lopez: I think, they're at iPhone like 20 something, I don't know.
- 47:29Maurio Dawson: Oh, that's why, yeah, maybe so, or 17.
- 47:32Maurio Dawson: I don't know, I don't use them Because iPhones use Samsung products anyway, so it's okay.
- 47:39Carmen Lezeth: We're going to get into the iPhone.
- 47:40Carmen Lezeth: Actually, there's nobody here who uses an iPhone, just like most of the country, the world, 70% of the world uses Android-based phones, not iPhones.
- 47:51Carmen Lezeth: Only the United States is obsessed with iPhones, and yet we're worried about TikTok.
- 47:57Carmen Lezeth: I just want to throw that out there Again.
- 48:01Carmen Lezeth: Worried about TikTok?
- 48:02Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, so they all have the latest.
- 48:05Carmen Lezeth: So all the people in the chat are iphone people.
- 48:08Carmen Lezeth: I guess we we forgive you it's okay, oh my god, we are bad.
- 48:20Carmen Lezeth: You know what, though?
- 48:20Carmen Lezeth: Iphone people are crazy.
- 48:23Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry, like it's the worst argument, like worse than Republican and Democrat get into a fight with people about iPhone versus Android.
- 48:31Maurio Dawson: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 48:33Carmen Lezeth: And Android.
- 48:34Carmen Lezeth: People are not in the fight.
- 48:37Cynthia Lopez: No, not at all.
- 48:38Cynthia Lopez: Okay, okay, cool.
- 48:41Maurio Dawson: Yeah, it was like you have a green bubble.
- 48:44Rick Costa: Okay, okay.
- 48:45Rick Costa: I don't know what that means, but they say that all the time you have a green bubble, okay.
- 48:47Cynthia Lopez: Okay, I don't know what that means, but they say that all the time?
- 48:50Maurio Dawson: Yeah, like, do you have a green bubble?
- 48:51Maurio Dawson: Okay, did you get the message?
- 48:53Rick Costa: That's right Alma.
- 48:55Rick Costa: Alma knows something Hi.
- 48:58Carmen Lezeth: Alma Melanie's going to come back to Samsung.
- 49:01Maurio Dawson: Yes, come back queen, come on home.
- 49:04Carmen Lezeth: Come back to the other side, where we're not crazy.
- 49:07Carmen Lezeth: We don't need to buy a phone every six months.
- 49:09Carmen Lezeth: Hey Ash, how are you?
- 49:11Carmen Lezeth: That's so funny.
- 49:14Rick Costa: I'm not direct, I'm just saying.
- 49:17Carmen Lezeth: What.
- 49:19Rick Costa: I almost said Android rules.
- 49:20Rick Costa: They do Android rules.
- 49:24Maurio Dawson: Android's rule and iPhone's drool.
- 49:29Carmen Lezeth: See, I don't say that I actually think it's like Coke and Pepsi.
- 49:32Carmen Lezeth: I just don't see the big drama over it.
- 49:34Carmen Lezeth: You know like people get so obsessed about it.
- 49:36Carmen Lezeth: Brian said ever since I crossed over from Android to iPhone, I never looked back.
- 49:42Maurio Dawson: Oh, bless your heart.
- 49:48Rick Costa: If you're happy, I'm happy it's not even me, brian.
- 49:57Cynthia Lopez: I'm sorry I'm feeling a little petty tonight petty luia melanie said, my tablet is an android.
- 50:06Carmen Lezeth: I will use whatever costs less Amen.
- 50:08Maurio Dawson: That's it.
- 50:09Carmen Lezeth: Right, amen.
- 50:10Carmen Lezeth: Ash said I have always had Android but was gifted an iPhone years ago.
- 50:15Carmen Lezeth: Ooh, that's not a good friend.
- 50:18Cynthia Lopez: And I'll wear it out to a phone.
- 50:19Carmen Lezeth: I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding.
- 50:22Carmen Lezeth: No, so at work, all three of my clients, uh, they all use macs, you know they all use apple products or whatever.
- 50:33Carmen Lezeth: And if you know anything about doing anything to do with money, you always want to use a um windows, because windows always have the latest software for like things like quickbooks or whatever.
- 50:42Carmen Lezeth: So it's always this weird fight that people get all incensed that I break out my laptop.
- 50:47Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 50:48Carmen Lezeth: Like the shock I'm like bring it down a notch.
- 50:53Carmen Lezeth: It's a fucking computer.
- 50:54Carmen Lezeth: Alma said there is no competition.
- 50:58Carmen Lezeth: Coke rules.
- 50:59Carmen Lezeth: I like Pepsi.
- 51:01Carmen Lezeth: East Coast people tend to like Pepsi.
- 51:04Carmen Lezeth: I don't know about Rick, but I'm a Pepsi person.
- 51:08Rick Costa: I mean, I like both, but I lean to Coke a little bit more.
- 51:12Carmen Lezeth: It don't even matter.
- 51:13Carmen Lezeth: Honestly, when I go to a restaurant and I'm like can I have a Pepsi please?
- 51:18Carmen Lezeth: They're not like oh, we only have Coke.
- 51:19Carmen Lezeth: And I'm like, oh, I have to leave.
- 51:21Carmen Lezeth: I'm like, oh, okay, it's fine.
- 51:24Carmen Lezeth: And usually you say can I?
- 51:31Maurio Dawson: have a coke and they'll say, we only have pepsi or something you're like.
- 51:34Maurio Dawson: Okay, no, my wife is, she's a, she's a coke.
- 51:36Maurio Dawson: Uh, fan um.
- 51:39Maurio Dawson: And there's a specific coke that she loves and cynthia coburn relate, because it's at disney.
- 51:44Maurio Dawson: The Disney Coke is better, I know, but the Disney Coke is stronger and it's better and you can't find it anywhere else.
- 51:54Maurio Dawson: It doesn't have the same flavor.
- 51:55Maurio Dawson: Disney Coke At Disney.
- 51:57Maurio Dawson: Yes, disney Coke and Mexican Coke.
- 52:00Maurio Dawson: The Mexican Coke I hate that they call it, that I'm going to tell you right now that's what they call it, because it comes out of the bottle and it comes out of Mexico.
- 52:10Carmen Lezeth: But let's be clear what that actually means.
- 52:12Carmen Lezeth: Let's be clear what that actually means.
- 52:13Carmen Lezeth: The reason why they call it Mexican Coke is because in Mexico they still do it the old school way, which is glass bottles and real sugar.
- 52:22Maurio Dawson: Yes, that's right.
- 52:23Carmen Lezeth: I just hate they call it Mexican Coke, because that should be just Coke, you know what I mean.
- 52:31Maurio Dawson: Because American Coke changed the recipe so it's not the same.
- 52:33Maurio Dawson: So that's why they have to define it by Mexican Coke.
- 52:37Carmen Lezeth: And it's also like $5 more.
- 52:39Carmen Lezeth: Yes, for sure.
- 52:41Maurio Dawson: Or if you go over to Europe, it's better over there too, for sure, but it's hard to find over there.
- 52:47Maurio Dawson: Just like their Fanta, they have an orange Fanta over there that you can't get here, that has actual orange fruit.
- 52:56Carmen Lezeth: What do you love about our country?
- 52:58Carmen Lezeth: Let's talk about what we love about our country.
- 53:00Carmen Lezeth: Come on now.
- 53:06Carmen Lezeth: I meant that to be like a good thing.
- 53:11Carmen Lezeth: You guys are quiet, rah, rah, usa.
- 53:16Carmen Lezeth: Come on.
- 53:18Carmen Lezeth: I love california, if I ask you to talk about california.
- 53:22Maurio Dawson: California is great.
- 53:22Maurio Dawson: California is amazing the sun, the sea, the sky, the trees.
- 53:29Carmen Lezeth: I still have faith in the United States.
- 53:31Carmen Lezeth: I do a little bit I do.
- 53:34Carmen Lezeth: I have faith in us.
- 53:35Carmen Lezeth: And Monday it's Martin Luther King Jr's birthday.
- 53:39Carmen Lezeth: Right, we're celebrating Martin Luther.
- 53:41Carmen Lezeth: King Jr's birthday Actually it's the 19th and the 20th is a holiday.
- 53:45Maurio Dawson: Yeah, actually the birthday is the 15th, but the holiday is coming up it's on Monday.
- 53:51Maurio Dawson: No, the holiday right, but his actual birthday is the 15th.
- 53:54Carmen Lezeth: I think it's the 19th.
- 53:56Rick Costa: Let me know.
- 53:57Carmen Lezeth: I don't know, I don't know.
- 53:59Carmen Lezeth: I should know, but I don't know.
- 54:00Carmen Lezeth: Let me see Martin Luther.
- 54:02Maurio Dawson: The king, as the kids say.
- 54:05Carmen Lezeth: But also on Monday.
- 54:06Carmen Lezeth: You know, I'm not going to avoid this.
- 54:08Carmen Lezeth: It is also.
- 54:09Carmen Lezeth: You are correct, sir.
- 54:09Carmen Lezeth: I was incorrect, martin.
- 54:10Carmen Lezeth: You are correct, sir, I was incorrect.
- 54:12Carmen Lezeth: Martin Luther King Jr's birthday is January 15th.
- 54:16Carmen Lezeth: I just want to also say that he is a Capricorn, like myself.
- 54:20Carmen Lezeth: We are beautiful, wonderful people.
- 54:22Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying so, mario, you are correct.
- 54:24Carmen Lezeth: January 15th, huzzah, yes.
- 54:28Rick Costa: I was wrong.
- 54:29Rick Costa: I love people that will admit I made a mistake.
- 54:32Maurio Dawson: I do too.
- 54:33Maurio Dawson: You are awesome for that, thank you Are you guys making fun of me?
- 54:37Carmen Lezeth: No, I always admit I made a mistake?
- 54:38Maurio Dawson: Not at all oh.
- 54:41Carmen Lezeth: What am I going to do?
- 54:42Carmen Lezeth: Fight you on the truth right there.
- 54:44Carmen Lezeth: No, no, no.
- 54:45Maurio Dawson: He's making a point because that's a good point.
- 54:47Maurio Dawson: Some people don't.
- 54:48Maurio Dawson: They can't take accountability and say you know what?
- 54:52Maurio Dawson: I was wrong, you were right.
- 54:54Carmen Lezeth: Thank you for correcting me, but that's when you look stupid, though, right.
- 54:57Maurio Dawson: It's a lot of stupid people out there.
- 54:59Maurio Dawson: I know.
- 55:00Carmen Lezeth: Well, I mean, I think the whole thing about being brilliant or being really smart is admitting that you don't know what you don't know or that you made a mistake.
- 55:09Carmen Lezeth: That's the best thing you can do when you make a mistake or you are wrong is just own it.
- 55:13Carmen Lezeth: I love people who try to hide that they didn't make a mistake because they just dig the hole deeper.
- 55:19Carmen Lezeth: Yes, but I also want to acknowledge that the inauguration is also, I think, unfortunately, on Martin Luther King's holiday, but it is what it is.
- 55:30Carmen Lezeth: I just don't like those two things.
- 55:32Carmen Lezeth: I don't like the presidential inauguration being on.
- 55:34Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, it's on Monday.
- 55:36Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, president Biden gave his final address today, and on Monday it'll be the new president.
- 55:46Carmen Lezeth: President-elect Trump will be at the inauguration and it'll be interesting.
- 55:53Carmen Lezeth: I just don't like like I wish it wasn't on Martin Luther King day, you know, just because I like to celebrate that day separately and then find an excuse not to go into work so I can watch the inauguration.
- 56:05Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 56:06Carmen Lezeth: So, but, um, but yeah, those two things are happening on Monday.
- 56:13Rick Costa: I guess you all said something.
- 56:15Rick Costa: I'm sorry, I totally shouldn't have I missed it.
- 56:18Cynthia Lopez: What did you say?
- 56:20Rick Costa: We had a lot of comments.
- 56:20Rick Costa: Actually, she brought up something that made me think once.
- 56:24Rick Costa: She said glass bottles, yes, and I've always heard people say you know what, I don't know why, but drinking from a glass bottle of the, it don't taste, don't taste the same.
- 56:41Rick Costa: And I'm like really, though, and then I was like okay, here we go, coke glass, let me drink.
- 56:43Maurio Dawson: I was like yep, oh, my god, it's true, it's true, it's really true.
- 56:45Maurio Dawson: Just glass bottles, period, because the whole carbonation, everything the seat is.
- 56:49Maurio Dawson: It's something about the glass bottles, it's just better.
- 56:53Maurio Dawson: I, I can't tell you it's not just that, though.
- 56:56Carmen Lezeth: Even products like olive oil.
- 56:58Carmen Lezeth: You know how hard it is, and I only buy olive oil in a glass bottle, but it's harder and harder because they're making them all plastic, and there's just something wrong for me about buying olive oil in a plastic.
- 57:09Carmen Lezeth: I hate it.
- 57:10Carmen Lezeth: I also skincare products.
- 57:13Carmen Lezeth: I like getting them in the glass, and you can't really get things in glass anymore.
- 57:17Carmen Lezeth: I think things tasted better when they were stored in glass too.
- 57:21Carmen Lezeth: Alma just said POTUS gave a beautiful farewell.
- 57:24Carmen Lezeth: He did, he did.
- 57:26Carmen Lezeth: I really respect Joe Biden a lot.
- 57:30Carmen Lezeth: I think his legacy is incredible for all the things he has done.
- 57:35Carmen Lezeth: Everyone makes mistakes.
- 57:36Carmen Lezeth: We're all human.
- 57:38Carmen Lezeth: We can all harp on the negativity, but he is just a wonderful man and I'm so happy for him.
- 57:45Carmen Lezeth: I think he needs a rest too.
- 57:47Carmen Lezeth: Of course, everyone knows I wish the election turned out differently, but no matter what, I'm just grateful for Joe Biden and that he now gets to just I hope enjoy his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren and just like he can just rest, because I think he was running ragged for so long.
- 58:04Maurio Dawson: Yeah, he was definitely well out at the end.
- 58:08Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, so I'm really happy for him.
- 58:09Carmen Lezeth: Ash just said same Carmen oils are better in glass.
- 58:13Carmen Lezeth: Exactly, Brian.
- 58:15Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry I missed what you said.
- 58:17Carmen Lezeth: I love Texas.
- 58:19Carmen Lezeth: I love small towns in America.
- 58:21Carmen Lezeth: I'm a proud to support 2A.

- 58:45Carmen Lezeth: Potato chips.
- 58:46Carmen Lezeth: Is that weird?
- 58:47Maurio Dawson: No, why.
- 58:48Carmen Lezeth: Every time I eat potato chips I get like a lot of gas.
- 58:51Carmen Lezeth: Oh, too much info.
- 58:56Carmen Lezeth: Sorry, I don't know what I'm eating.
- 58:58Carmen Lezeth: That's not about Lay's potato chips, because we would love to sponsor them and I would try to eat them.
- 59:03Maurio Dawson: We will eat the Lay's potato chips.

- 59:32Carmen Lezeth: None of us eat cauliflower.
- 59:34Maurio Dawson: No, I'm just kidding I hate Brussels sprouts, hate them.
- 59:38Carmen Lezeth: You know what, If you can't put bacon on some and it tastes better, it is not a food.
- 59:43Carmen Lezeth: And someone tried to give me Brussels sprouts with bacon wrapped.
- 59:47Carmen Lezeth: I'm like it still sucks Right and bacon is the equalizer.
- 59:51Maurio Dawson: That's how I'm saying it.
- 59:52Maurio Dawson: No, some people like it.

- 1:00:08Carmen Lezeth: Brian, we're not going to talk about.
- 1:00:10Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I'm so sorry for what's happened to you and I understand your reasoning.
- 1:00:16Carmen Lezeth: I just don't want to talk about the Second Amendment.

- 1:01:44Carmen Lezeth: Should I just get rid of cheese?
- 1:01:45Carmen Lezeth: Would that do it?
- 1:01:46Carmen Lezeth: She was like I thought I was crazy.
- 1:01:49Carmen Lezeth: And here's the thing when I say like it's not even like high, it's just elevated slightly elevated.

- 1:07:00Carmen Lezeth: Because, every night you can still hear the helicopters overhead.
- 1:07:04Maurio Dawson: You wake up in the morning helicopters overhead and I still see the ash falling.
- 1:07:07Maurio Dawson: So yeah, I'm staying close to home.

- 1:07:38Carmen Lezeth: You know what?
- 1:07:39Carmen Lezeth: We're going to pray for the people in the Palisades, also for the people in it's not Pasadena, altadena.
- 1:07:45Maurio Dawson: Altadena.
- 1:07:49Carmen Lezeth: I had six friends lose their homes in Altadena.

- 1:07:51Maurio Dawson: though.
- 1:07:51Maurio Dawson: Just one thing.
- 1:07:52Maurio Dawson: One of my wife's good friends at work bless her heart.
- 1:07:57Maurio Dawson: She lost her husband in December.
- 1:08:00Maurio Dawson: She got the evacuation call.
- 1:08:04Maurio Dawson: She evacuated, went to her mom's house, Her mom got the evacuation, they had to leave and she lost both homes.
- 1:08:13Carmen Lezeth: Her mom's home was her childhood home.

- 1:08:30Maurio Dawson: She's in Althena.
- 1:08:32Carmen Lezeth: So SAG sent out I mean, if you send me their GoFundMes, I'll put them in our show notes or whatever, and we can also promote it next week.
- 1:08:39Carmen Lezeth: I have no problem doing that for friends.
- 1:08:41Carmen Lezeth: Sag, which is the Screen Actors Guild, sent out emails to everyone and they put all of these different people's GoFundMes.
- 1:08:49Carmen Lezeth: And also my acting coach did the same thing, howard.
- 1:08:53Carmen Lezeth: Fine, he turned around and he sent all the people that were part of the studio, who are actors, you know, even from a long time ago.
- 1:08:59Carmen Lezeth: I'm like I started crying because I'm like, oh my God, these, like these, are people we worked with or that we you know.
- 1:09:11Maurio Dawson: It was just weird to kind of see so many people lost homes that were part of our world.

- 1:09:20Carmen Lezeth: OWN.
- 1:09:20Carmen Lezeth: It was a great show.
- 1:09:21Maurio Dawson: You can still go back and watch it.
- 1:09:23Maurio Dawson: Go back.
- 1:09:24Carmen Lezeth: We love Ava Duna Vernet.
- 1:09:25Carmen Lezeth: Come on, and why does she look so good?
- 1:09:28Carmen Lezeth: She looked good lately, come on, now she looks wonderful, but the gentleman who played Preacher.
- 1:09:37Maurio Dawson: he's been an actor for over 40 plus years.
- 1:09:42Maurio Dawson: He lost his home.
- 1:09:44Maurio Dawson: He's 82 years old.
- 1:09:46Carmen Lezeth: No, she has him on her feed and she put the goat on me Exactly.
- 1:09:50Maurio Dawson: So he was another one.
- 1:09:51Maurio Dawson: I was shocked.
- 1:09:52Maurio Dawson: Exactly so he was another one.
- 1:10:02Carmen Lezeth: I was shocked, and another actor from that show.
- 1:10:04Carmen Lezeth: She almost lost her home but thankfully it was spared.
- 1:10:05Carmen Lezeth: But they're all in Altadena.
- 1:10:16Maurio Dawson: I think people yeah.
- 1:10:17Maurio Dawson: Well, what people don't understand is Altadena was a primarily Black community of, you know, mid-wealth upper class, know what I mean?
- 1:10:19Maurio Dawson: like just really doing well, it was upper class now, but when they were coming, when it was established, it was no, no, no, that right for people who were right, who were, who were, who were workers for other people, who were maids, who were lower, considered lower class, and they weren't allowed to live in Pasadena and they migrated and created their own community in Altadena and then flourished it.
- 1:10:40Maurio Dawson: And so now these people are middle class, upper class, which is great, but it didn't start off that way and that community has a lot of history.
- 1:10:49Carmen Lezeth: And then I wasn't trying to.
- 1:10:51Carmen Lezeth: Here's the thing.
- 1:10:51Carmen Lezeth: I don't care how much money people have, no-transcript.
- 1:11:25Carmen Lezeth: And uh, somebody was saying something and I'm like, first of all, motherfucker, he's like 87 years old and number two, he's worked his ass off his entire life to live in the Palisades, to have his Oscars and to be who he is.
- 1:11:40Carmen Lezeth: Why don't we all want that?
- 1:11:42Carmen Lezeth: We all want that, but you're so bitter and ridiculous you think it doesn't matter if somebody has wealth to lose their home.
- 1:11:50Carmen Lezeth: It's just crazy.
- 1:11:51Carmen Lezeth: So Altadena is a working class, middle class, upper class neighborhood, but the point is is that it was a community of mostly black people, people of color who have.
- 1:12:03Carmen Lezeth: It's a real community, just like the Palisades, and a lot of people lost their homes.
- 1:12:10Carmen Lezeth: Altadena has been also.
- 1:12:12Carmen Lezeth: It's right, all of it.
- 1:12:13Carmen Lezeth: It's like the Palisades.
- 1:12:14Carmen Lezeth: It's gone, right, it's completely gone.
- 1:12:17Maurio Dawson: Same thing, yeah for sure.
- 1:12:19Carmen Lezeth: Brian said Marcellus Wiley, a former NFL player, lives in LA and is in the area where he and his family are on standby to evacuate.
- 1:12:28Carmen Lezeth: There's a lot of people on evacuations.
- 1:12:31Carmen Lezeth: Ash said it's their home and memories.
- 1:12:35Carmen Lezeth: It's sad.
- 1:12:36Maurio Dawson: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:12:38Carmen Lezeth: Alma said there were people who lived in motorhome parks in the Palisades yeah, right on the beach.
- 1:12:43Maurio Dawson: Yeah, it was just regular everyday people who were living in mobile homes, but it was a mobile home park and it's all gone.
- 1:12:51Maurio Dawson: Just those are everyday people.
- 1:12:53Maurio Dawson: So yeah, for sure.
- 1:12:55Carmen Lezeth: I think I think I just want to normalize us, to get back to a place of empathy.
- 1:13:00Carmen Lezeth: Like you know, the idea that if you have any amount of wealth, you should be treated like crap because something devastated happened to you, because what Like it doesn't even make any sense to me.
- 1:13:12Carmen Lezeth: You know our, our, because what Like it doesn't even make any sense to me, you know our whole.
- 1:13:15Carmen Lezeth: We need to reevaluate our kind of idea of compassion and empathy because we're way off kilter.
- 1:13:22Carmen Lezeth: You know, I don't care how much money you have, you cannot replace your memories.
- 1:13:26Rick Costa: Not at all.
- 1:13:27Rick Costa: I saw it on Denise Crosby, Tasha Yar, in Star Trek Next Generation shameless.
- 1:13:33Rick Costa: But she said she lost a home there and that's where she raised her kid.
- 1:13:37Rick Costa: So she's like those memories.
- 1:13:40Rick Costa: I lived there.
- 1:13:41Rick Costa: It's just gone, so it's made it really sad.
- 1:13:45Carmen Lezeth: And when I went to the Westwood Recreation Center, that's where I went first.
- 1:13:49Carmen Lezeth: That was one of the first shelters set up for people in the Palisades.
- 1:13:54Carmen Lezeth: When I went there, all the cars there was all different types of cars there were Hondas, there were Land Rovers and these were people who didn't know where to go or what to do, and no one was questioning why they were there, like, oh, you're driving a fancy car, you cannot be here.
- 1:14:11Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I think that's what was beautiful was just seeing everyone trying to hold each other up because people were crying and upset and sad because they just lost everything and some of them had fled in danger, like it wasn't just, like they were like, oh, we have a warning, let's go.
- 1:14:28Carmen Lezeth: They were fleeing because the fire was upon them.
- 1:14:33Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, alma just said there were people living in apartments in the Palisades, but also all of the businesses that were lost means that a lot of people lost their jobs.
- 1:14:42Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, two of my clients that was.
- 1:14:44Carmen Lezeth: One of the things they were worried about was because they have people that work for them, that live there, that live in the Palisades, you know what mean.
- 1:14:52Carmen Lezeth: And their first concern was don't worry about the house, don't worry about anything.
- 1:14:57Carmen Lezeth: Make sure everybody's out, make sure they know they're going to get paid, do whatever we can to you know what I mean.
- 1:15:02Carmen Lezeth: Like that's what I'm saying.
- 1:15:03Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, everyone who has money isn't evil, and the idea that you don't want to acquire that kind of wealth someday is such bullshit.
- 1:15:11Carmen Lezeth: Because that's what we're taught from when we're little kids here in this damn country that you know, if you work hard, you can be whatever you want to be and you can get whatever you want.
- 1:15:19Carmen Lezeth: And we're a capitalist society, so the hate on people is ridiculous.
- 1:15:23Carmen Lezeth: It makes no sense.
- 1:15:24Carmen Lezeth: Alma said these tragedies are equalizers, a reminder that we are all human and that we need to be kind to one another.
- 1:15:31Carmen Lezeth: I don don't think it reminds a lot of people.
- 1:15:34Carmen Lezeth: It should, yeah, but it should, okay.
- 1:15:41Carmen Lezeth: Let's do something uplifting and then we're going to get off of it.
- 1:15:43Carmen Lezeth: Cynthia's like I have to go to work tomorrow.
- 1:15:46Carmen Lezeth: Do you guys have any plans for this weekend?
- 1:15:48Carmen Lezeth: Mario just told us no, he's going to be chilling.
- 1:15:50Maurio Dawson: He's going to go to a movie movie.
- 1:15:51Maurio Dawson: My wife reminded we have a birthday party, sorry uh, I'm sorry.
- 1:15:56Carmen Lezeth: Did you say you're gonna send a birthday gift?
- 1:15:58Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry.
- 1:15:59Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, are you guys surprising me?
- 1:16:03Carmen Lezeth: I can't wait.
- 1:16:03Carmen Lezeth: Oh, my god, you have my address right.
- 1:16:06Carmen Lezeth: I'm so excited, thank you.
- 1:16:10Carmen Lezeth: I'll be home on saturday, saturday and Sunday between 9 and 12.
- 1:16:14Maurio Dawson: And when you open your door you better say well, hello there, stripper man.
- 1:16:22Carmen Lezeth: Rick, you have anything happening this weekend?
- 1:16:24Rick Costa: Anything you're looking forward to, are you Jamal?
- 1:16:32Carmen Lezeth: Well, well, well, I was going to cut out that whole thing earlier, but now it's in.
- 1:16:44Rick Costa: Last week my cousin was supposed to come take my mom out.
- 1:16:47Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, that was supposed to be a gift for your birthday.
- 1:16:49Rick Costa: That never happened, so we'll see if it happens this week.
- 1:16:52Rick Costa: Also, my ex is like watch guys come over and I'll cut your mom's hair and she really needs it cut bad she's.
- 1:17:00Rick Costa: It's been really crazy long, so that might happen, both or none, I don't know.
- 1:17:04Rick Costa: We'll see what happens.
- 1:17:04Rick Costa: Fingers crossed fingers crossed okay, fingers crossed.
- 1:17:07Carmen Lezeth: You need some time off.
- 1:17:08Carmen Lezeth: Come on, that wasn't a good gift for your birthday.
- 1:17:10Carmen Lezeth: They didn't even do it, almost said you would disown us if we threw you a surprise party.
- 1:17:16Cynthia Lopez: Are you talking about me?
- 1:17:17Cynthia Lopez: I guess so.
- 1:17:20Carmen Lezeth: I mean, I don't know, it depends on what that surprise party was like I mean you know, I think it would just be hard to do a surprise party for me.
- 1:17:31Carmen Lezeth: I don't know if people could actually surprise me, okay.
- 1:17:34Maurio Dawson: I'm for me.
- 1:17:34Maurio Dawson: I don't know if people could actually surprise me.
- 1:17:36Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I'm just saying I don't know, cynthia, you think I would hate?
- 1:17:38Rick Costa: it.
- 1:17:38Rick Costa: Mario would challenge, accept it.
- 1:17:42Carmen Lezeth: I'm just saying I don't know.
- 1:17:43Carmen Lezeth: I'm very particular.
- 1:17:44Carmen Lezeth: You'd have to you know it could be a surprise, but like, how would you do it?
- 1:17:48Carmen Lezeth: You know what I?
- 1:17:49Maurio Dawson: mean, then that would be a surprise If I was.
- 1:17:52Maurio Dawson: Ray duh-duh.
- 1:17:56Carmen Lezeth: I think I would just appreciate presents, okay, I had on my 40th birthday.
- 1:18:01Carmen Lezeth: They actually had a huge surprise party for me and my friend Richard may he rest in peace organized it all and it was amazing.
- 1:18:09Carmen Lezeth: I didn't know anything about it.
- 1:18:11Carmen Lezeth: He said he was coming in just to hang out with me and just to have dinner with me.
- 1:18:16Carmen Lezeth: You guys heard about this because Andrea complains about it all the time Because he didn't know all my friends.
- 1:18:22Carmen Lezeth: So he did the best he could.
- 1:18:24Carmen Lezeth: He called work, he talked to one of my assistants and they tried to get everything together and they missed Andrea in the whole thing and Andrea to this day wait, it's even better missed Andrea in the whole thing and Andrea to this day wait, it's even better.
- 1:18:37Carmen Lezeth: They missed Andrea.
- 1:18:37Carmen Lezeth: But somehow got her best friend to come to the party, who I didn't even know that well, and her best friend didn't even tell her about it.
- 1:18:43Carmen Lezeth: And Andrea hated Richard forever.
- 1:18:48Carmen Lezeth: I mean, he passed away and she still won't forgive him.
- 1:18:50Carmen Lezeth: We were still talking about it on the show, like when we first started.
- 1:18:54Carmen Lezeth: But that was an amazing surprise party.
- 1:18:57Carmen Lezeth: It was amazing and it was at this amazing restaurant, very Bling, one of my favorite restaurants.
- 1:19:02Carmen Lezeth: It was oop-dee-doo.
- 1:19:04Carmen Lezeth: It was awesome, it was fun.
- 1:19:05Carmen Lezeth: I mean, you know I'm not throwing out ideas or anything, I'm just saying she's like as she fits like as she fits January 12th.
- 1:19:13Carmen Lezeth: You can do it for next year if you want to start organizing now, asha, oh, I detest the surprise party, not if it's done like if somebody knows you really well and they know what you like, it would be as good.
- 1:19:23Maurio Dawson: I've never had one.
- 1:19:24Maurio Dawson: Really, I've never had a surprise party.
- 1:19:27Maurio Dawson: I've only had maybe three birthday parties in my whole life.
- 1:19:32Carmen Lezeth: Yeah, I never started celebrating until I got older, but now it's on fire.
- 1:19:37Maurio Dawson: I had one great party when I turned 45 and I just talked about it last night.
- 1:19:42Maurio Dawson: I got so drunk that, yeah, it was a blur, but it was a good time.
- 1:19:49Carmen Lezeth: Rick, have you had any surprise parties Cynthia I've had any surprise parties.
- 1:19:58Cynthia Lopez: Cynthia.
- 1:20:02Rick Costa: I've had a surprise birthday party, but I ended up finding out about it because no one in this family can keep secrets Okay.
- 1:20:09Maurio Dawson: I love a party, I'll turn up.
- 1:20:11Maurio Dawson: I'm an introvert with extrovert tendencies, so a party is good for three hours and I'm out.
- 1:20:19Rick Costa: I love watching TV shows where they're like we're going to throw a surprise party and don't tell her, don't tell him whatever, and they always find out.
- 1:20:26Rick Costa: But you got to act surprised.
- 1:20:27Rick Costa: I'm like oh my goodness.
- 1:20:31Carmen Lezeth: No, I was totally surprised because me and Richard went.
- 1:20:34Carmen Lezeth: I thought we had just had a reservation at my favorite restaurant.
- 1:20:38Carmen Lezeth: Is he?
- 1:20:39Carmen Lezeth: Okay?
- 1:20:39Carmen Lezeth: He's just sneezing, he's coughing?
- 1:20:43Carmen Lezeth: Okay, I can still see his body.
- 1:20:45Carmen Lezeth: Just want to make sure?
- 1:20:46Carmen Lezeth: Okay, we just want to make sure you're okay, I know all of us in the house.
- 1:20:50Maurio Dawson: She's up there.
- 1:20:51Maurio Dawson: She couldn't get to me if she tried.
- 1:20:54Carmen Lezeth: I would have called 911, though we got you.
- 1:20:56Carmen Lezeth: That's what I was saying.
- 1:20:59Carmen Lezeth: You know I got his address.
- 1:21:00Carmen Lezeth: I'd be calling 911 right now.
- 1:21:02Carmen Lezeth: Yep, I really thought it was just going to be me and Richard, and when I got there, they didn't put me at the table that we always sit at, they brought us to the back.
- 1:21:15Maurio Dawson: Her regular table.
- 1:21:15Maurio Dawson: You hear that, right, her regular table.
- 1:21:17Maurio Dawson: They didn't put her at her regular table.
- 1:21:20Carmen Lezeth: Because I have a regular table.
- 1:21:21Carmen Lezeth: That restaurant isn't there anymore, but I used to have a regular table there.
- 1:21:24Carmen Lezeth: This is a restaurant that I'll tell you who always used to go by Michelle Pfeiffer, the most beautiful woman I think I've ever seen in my life.
- 1:21:31Carmen Lezeth: I'm not.
- 1:21:32Carmen Lezeth: I will still say that I will stand on that in person.
- 1:21:35Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:21:35Carmen Lezeth: Like to see someone that looks like this on TV or movies and then you see them in person.
- 1:21:40Carmen Lezeth: You're like think, okay, stunning woman.
- 1:21:43Carmen Lezeth: Okay, danny DeVito always went to that restaurant, tom Brokaw always went to that restaurant and I used to go to that restaurant.
- 1:21:50Maurio Dawson: And other people.
- 1:21:51Maurio Dawson: I love how she put herself in there.
- 1:21:53Maurio Dawson: That's awesome.
- 1:21:56Carmen Lezeth: And other people.
- 1:21:56Carmen Lezeth: But it was a regular place I would go to all the time because it was around the corner from my condo when I owned it.
- 1:22:02Carmen Lezeth: So I thought that's where me and Richard were going, and so I did have a regular table.
- 1:22:07Carmen Lezeth: And when we went they were like, oh no, you know what?
- 1:22:09Carmen Lezeth: Sorry, we had to save that for somebody else.
- 1:22:13Carmen Lezeth: I'm sorry, come and, do you mind?
- 1:22:14Carmen Lezeth: I was like I end up.
- 1:22:14Carmen Lezeth: When we went to the back and there was everybody, I mean, it was unbelievable, it was so.
- 1:22:17Carmen Lezeth: It was cool.
- 1:22:18Carmen Lezeth: I was totally surprised.
- 1:22:19Carmen Lezeth: The only thing that was weird was that one of my clients was there too.
- 1:22:23Carmen Lezeth: Like there was a few mistakes, like the Andrea thing, the her friend thing.
- 1:22:29Carmen Lezeth: That's not a good friend, because why didn't she tell Andrea?
- 1:22:32Maurio Dawson: That's true.
- 1:22:33Carmen Lezeth: That was weird.
- 1:22:34Carmen Lezeth: And then one of my clients was there.
- 1:22:36Carmen Lezeth: It was there.
- 1:22:37Carmen Lezeth: It was weird.
- 1:22:37Carmen Lezeth: You know what I mean.
- 1:22:38Carmen Lezeth: But anyways, with that, Cynthia, any plans for the weekend.
- 1:22:44Cynthia Lopez: I have scrapbooking on Sunday, but that's about it.
- 1:22:46Carmen Lezeth: Oh yeah, you love scrapbooking, which I still don't understand what it is.
- 1:22:49Carmen Lezeth: So you're scrapbooking which, for people who don't know what scrapbooking is, what is it again?
- 1:22:58Cynthia Lopez: When I say people, I mean I forgot Um well, I make cards, but a lot of people make a whole bunch of different stuff, Um albums of like their vacations and things like that.
- 1:23:10Carmen Lezeth: I know you make cards that I keep trying to get you to sell for $20, like they do.
- 1:23:16Carmen Lezeth: You go into Whole Foods you see these cards and they're like 13, 14.
- 1:23:19Carmen Lezeth: They're ugly.
- 1:23:20Carmen Lezeth: You send me handmade cards.
- 1:23:22Carmen Lezeth: I'm like my God, we could make so much money on this and you won't do it.
- 1:23:25Carmen Lezeth: So that's what your scrapbooking is.
- 1:23:26Carmen Lezeth: You make cards and then you don't sell them.
- 1:23:28Carmen Lezeth: Yeah Well, you can send me one.
- 1:23:30Maurio Dawson: Yeah Well, you can send me one.
- 1:23:31Maurio Dawson: I'll give you my address.
- 1:23:32Maurio Dawson: I'd love to receive one.
- 1:23:34Carmen Lezeth: I love receiving them too, but, mario, you know how much money we can make because they're so good, the cards she makes.
- 1:23:39Carmen Lezeth: Put them in the All About the Joy card and look at them.
- 1:23:47Carmen Lezeth: All about the profit is what I'm thinking.
- 1:23:49Carmen Lezeth: That's Krilla, all right, everyone.
- 1:23:53Carmen Lezeth: Well, thank you so much for stopping by.
- 1:23:54Carmen Lezeth: We appreciate you.

- 1:24:11Carmen Lezeth: Bye everyone, bye.
