What Energizes an Organization?
I think something quite important happened today because Morgane didn't merely reinforce yesterday's idea. She added the missing dynamic to it.
Yesterday we arrived at:
Purpose is not a destination. Purpose is something you become.
Today Morgane effectively added:
And because energy moves, purpose must continually be sensed.
That changes the organizational idea substantially.
Traditional organizations set objectives. More progressive organizations often articulate a purpose. But both can still become static constructs: formulate the words, put them on the website, align strategy against them…
