Latest / Daily Transformation / Heaven Not a Place for Good People
Transcript
- 0:00Will you open your door for a stranger to come into your house
- 0:05if the stranger tells you I am a good person, I feed the
- 0:10homeless, I pay people's rental, I pay people's tuition fee, I
- 0:18give money to the helpless. I'm a good person all around.
- 0:22Will you open the door for the stranger because he says so?
- 0:25And even to go further, if this person actually do these things,
- 0:29you see most times people think salvation or your ability to go
- 0:34to heaven is based on the good works.
- 0:38That is the things I just mentioned.
- 0:42But you see, no matter how much that person has claimed, you
- 0:47will not still open your door for him because you do not know
- 0:49him. That is how also when you want
- 0:54to go to heaven, it is not by how good you are or the many
- 1:00good things that you have done, but it is based on what another
- 1:04person has done. So your complete trust and
- 1:07belief in that person, it is like your ticket into entering
- 1:12that place. Just let me explain something
- 1:16regarding your belief system to what Jesus has done.
- 1:21We are supposed to be receiving from what He has done.
- 1:26How do you do that? Just imagine if you are supposed
- 1:31to pay a fine, right maybe or a debt, you are owning something
- 1:36and then you heard that someone who you do not even know
- 1:41miraculously paid for that debt for you.
- 1:44Will you again say well, I don't know this person, I wasn't there
- 1:48when he paid it, so I will have to stay pay again.
- 1:51You see, that is what many people are doing today.
- 1:54We believe that. OK, we have to engage in works.
- 1:58So by so doing we neglect that good work that Jesus has done.
- 2:04The day Jesus said on the cross it is finished, it is actually
- 2:07finished because it was the end of everything that you can ever
- 2:11think of. So it means that the day you
- 2:15agree to the temps by saying I believe that someone has paid my
- 2:20debt automatically gives you access to enter.
- 2:24So heaven is not actually a place for good people.
- 2:27Heaven is a place for those who are part of the family and your
- 2:31ticket to that family is in your belief to what Jesus has done.
- 2:35And the moment you enter, then the project begins.
- 2:38That's why the process, the good work that the Lord has started,
- 2:41he will complete it. What is our good works?
- 2:44It means that everything that has to do with your life now is
- 2:47no longer by yourself alone, but God by his Spirit is constantly
- 2:51building you into the very best that he wants you to be.
- 2:56So it means that your salvation is not based on your works
- 2:59alone. No, you can never enter heaven
- 3:02through that, no matter how many times you have helped people, no
- 3:06matter how many good things you have done.
- 3:08I mean this. You can do good things, but that
- 3:11is not the criteria that brings you into heaven.
- 3:15Because some people will say, I don't want to believe in Jesus,
- 3:17but I still want to do good things.
- 3:18I'm a good person. Yeah, as beautiful as that is,
- 3:23but that is not the criteria. The claims of divine justice is
- 3:26not fulfilled by your good works.
- 3:28It is fulfilled by the blood of Jesus.
- 3:31So why is this word coming to you today?
- 3:33Maybe you'll stumble across this either now or in the future.
- 3:37I wanted to know. There is someone who has paid a
- 3:40debt for you. You don't have to go back to go
- 3:43and pay the debt. Whatever you have been, you are
- 3:46owing, it has been paid for. All you need to do now is to
- 3:50embrace that which He has done and you embrace that by
- 3:54receiving and saying, Father, I received that which you have
- 3:58done for me and the moment you receive it, everything is
- 4:03available for you. I just hope someone have an
- 4:06understanding of this today and may this word minister to you.
- 4:11I give you understanding. This is the daily
- 4:13transformation. See you next time.
- 4:16God bless you.
