- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, what's going on? It's Romeo.
- 0:01Speaker 2: We got caught up talking about football on Monday. Just,
- 0:04Speaker 2: I don't know, man. The season is in. The Raiders
- 0:07Speaker 2: are winning, so everybody wants to talk about it. Let's
- 0:10Speaker 2: talk about a little bit about adults. Adults asking permission.
- 0:14Speaker 2: We were talking about that last week sometime. Something really
- 0:18Speaker 2: interesting happened last night, and it was about regulating, right?
- 0:25Speaker 1: Do you have.
- 0:29Speaker 2: How do I put this? Do you regulate on your spouse?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Does your spouse have like rules that they have to follow?
- 0:37Speaker 2: Like you're the parent and they're the child? Last night,
- 0:42Speaker 2: I was playing golf. And after golf, me and a
- 0:46Speaker 2: couple of buddies of mine, we just went to the
- 0:47Speaker 2: bar on the grill, you know, to have a couple
- 0:49Speaker 2: of drinks and appetizers and just hang out for a
- 0:52Speaker 2: little bit, right? So we're sitting there. And it was
- 0:57Speaker 2: probably about five, maybe five or six o'clock, something around there.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I don't remember what it was. We're sitting there.
- 1:04Speaker 2: And one of the guys I'm with, there's a couple
- 1:07Speaker 2: other girls, about four girls sitting at a table, a
- 1:10Speaker 2: bar top table, you know, high top table behind us.
- 1:13Speaker 1: And he knows him or he knew one of them.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So he goes over and talks to him and he
- 1:19Speaker 2: comes back and we're all kind of hanging out and
- 1:25Speaker 2: I know the bartender, so the place I go is
- 1:27Speaker 2: a regular place. Well, the bartender goes, man, that girl
- 1:29Speaker 2: just returned her drink. I didn't know what was going on.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I thought I made a bad drink. I said, what
- 1:33Speaker 2: are you talking about? Well, what happened was, and then
- 1:37Speaker 2: obviously we sent our buddy over there to find out
- 1:38Speaker 2: what happened.
- 1:41Speaker 1: One of the girls had a curfew.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Her husband said she can go out, but she had
- 1:49Speaker 2: to be home by a certain time. So she was
- 1:52Speaker 2: out with her friends. But what kind of nonsense is
- 1:57Speaker 2: to have? And he showed up when she wasn't home
- 2:01Speaker 2: by a certain time. He knew where she was. He
- 2:05Speaker 2: showed up and then she left. That's why the drink
- 2:09Speaker 2: was returned. We're like, that's kind of psycho, right? And
- 2:14Speaker 2: that seems a little psychotic to me. I mean, do
- 2:17Speaker 2: you have like do you regulate on your spouse?
- 2:19Speaker 1: I like that. That seems psycho. 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 2:22Speaker 2: You're grown adults in a relationship. You shouldn't have to
- 2:29Speaker 2: ask permission and or have rules that you have to follow.
- 2:33Speaker 2: That seemed a little, I don't know. I don't know,
- 2:36Speaker 2: but it seemed normal. They all just seem normal to them.
- 2:39Speaker 4: 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So do you guys have rules as a spouse?
- 2:46Speaker 2: Do you have rules that you have to follow that
- 2:48Speaker 2: your spouse says you can't.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Do this, you can't do that?
- 2:50Speaker 2: Yesterday, I was out, and this woman's husband showed up
- 2:57Speaker 2: where she was because she had a curfew of how
- 2:59Speaker 2: long she could be out.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And when she wasn't home, he showed up. That's crazy, right? Like,
- 3:07Speaker 1: that's not normal? That seems a little wild to me.
- 3:11Speaker 1: All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7-8.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, maybe it's because he's the D & D
- 3:18Speaker 2: and he doesn't.
- 3:19Speaker 1: Want to pick her up that late.
- 3:22Speaker 3: No.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I got the full story.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I know what the full story is because a friend
- 3:27Speaker 2: of mine knew one of the girls that was in
- 3:29Speaker 2: that group. So he went over and asked him what
- 3:32Speaker 2: was going on. And what was going on is she
- 3:36Speaker 2: has a curfew. She can go out with her friends,
- 3:39Speaker 2: but apparently... He knows where she's at and she has
- 3:42Speaker 2: a curfew when she has to be home.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And it was early. It was only like 730 or something. Damn,
- 3:48Speaker 1: when I was 16, my dad didn't even want me
- 3:50Speaker 1: home that early. So, yeah, that's just.
- 3:56Speaker 2: But it got me to thinking about what kind of
- 4:00Speaker 2: relationship are you in? If you have a spouse that
- 4:04Speaker 2: regulates on you on what you can and can't do.
- 4:09Speaker 2: What kind of relationship are you in? Are you going
- 4:11Speaker 2: to ask permission or something?
- 4:13Speaker 4: Really?
- 4:14Speaker 2: You can't go out with your friends. You have to
- 4:17Speaker 2: be home by a certain time. And if you're not
- 4:19Speaker 2: home by a certain time, he comes and looks for you.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:24Speaker 4: All right.
- 4:26Speaker 5: All right.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Four, two, five, four, seven, seven. We're all adults, right?
- 4:30Speaker 1: So do you regulate on your spouse? Good morning, Hal.
- 4:33Speaker 2: What's up?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Hey, okay, so I was listening to you. That guy,
- 4:37Speaker 3: something's going on because that's a weird situation. Like, either
- 4:40Speaker 3: he's super insecure or he's very young or, like, somebody
- 4:44Speaker 3: cheated because, like, my man will go out.
- 4:46Speaker 5: I'm 35. He's 44.
- 4:47Speaker 3: He'll go out with his friends, whatever. He'll tell me,
- 4:51Speaker 3: I'll be home at midnight.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Cool.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I usually tack on like three extra hours on that
- 4:54Speaker 3: because he talks too much and I know him. So like,
- 4:58Speaker 3: if he shows up at three or two in the morning, okay, cool.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I know he's safe, but he'll call me and be like, hey,
- 5:02Speaker 3: I'm on my way. I'm safe, blah, blah. And I'm like,
- 5:04Speaker 3: all right, cool. You need a ride or what? So
- 5:06Speaker 3: to me, that's just like... Something's off. I don't know.
- 5:09Speaker 2: You give him a three-hour window, not 15 minutes, not
- 5:12Speaker 2: three hours.
- 5:13Speaker 5: No, he talks too much.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I didn't mean to cuss. He talks way too much. Like,
- 5:18Speaker 3: you know, I'm just as bad. Like, we don't regulate
- 5:22Speaker 3: each other, but I do trust him. So it just
- 5:24Speaker 3: sounds like there's a big either miscommunication between the two
- 5:27Speaker 3: or somebody cheated.
- 5:27Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 5:28Speaker 5: That's funny. That's a big old trusting.
- 5:30Speaker 1: It can't be right, though. That's not right, right?
- 5:33Speaker 3: No, that's not normal. That seems very possessive.
- 5:36Speaker 8: Okay.
- 5:36Speaker 3: And I feel bad for her because she has, like, no, yeah, okay,
- 5:40Speaker 3: so she can't go on a girl trip then, no?
- 5:42Speaker 2: I don't know, but they seem like it was just normal.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Like, nobody flipped out. Nobody said nothing.
- 5:50Speaker 2: After the guy got her, the girls just went back
- 5:52Speaker 2: to doing what they were doing, didn't talk, didn't do nothing.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I was like, oh, well, all right. Are they young?
- 5:59Speaker 9: They have to be, like, super young.
- 6:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 8: Maybe.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Maybe they were. No, they couldn't have been. They had
- 6:04Speaker 1: to be in their 30s at least. Okay.
- 6:07Speaker 3: I mean, this is Bakersfield, though, so you never know
- 6:09Speaker 3: what he wrote. We'll probably see him on that group. Like,
- 6:11Speaker 3: are we sharing the same man or some crazy stuff?
- 6:13Speaker 1: Who knows? Thanks for calling. Bye.
- 6:17Speaker 3: Bye.
- 6:18Speaker 1: It just seems weird to regulate like that, right? That's
- 6:21Speaker 1: not normal. Regulating? Do you regulate on your spouse like
- 6:24Speaker 1: this one?
- 6:25Speaker 6: You know.
- 6:26Speaker 1: I saw this girl last night.
- 6:27Speaker 2: She had a curfew, and her man showed up to
- 6:29Speaker 2: pick her up because she went past her curfew at
- 6:32Speaker 2: the restaurant or the place we were at.
- 6:34Speaker 1: It was ridiculous, right? Good morning, how's it going on?
- 6:38Speaker 9: Good morning, Romeo.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Hey, what's up?
- 6:41Speaker 10: The 7.30 part was a little bit excessive, but, I mean,
- 6:45Speaker 10: that's the type of craziness.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Though, that I used to date.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Like.
- 6:51Speaker 10: The dudes I used to date used to tell me
- 6:54Speaker 10: that anything after.
- 6:56Speaker 11: 3 a.m., the only thing open is Denny's, Lavia, or Legs.
- 7:01Speaker 10: So there wasn't any of that late night, you know, like,
- 7:07Speaker 10: let's go to one party and the next party and
- 7:09Speaker 10: the after party.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Not for me, because.
- 7:12Speaker 12: Next thing you know, they'd be like, girl.
- 7:14Speaker 10: Look at so-and-so out there waiting in the parking lot.
- 7:19Speaker 6: And I'd be like, what?
- 7:20Speaker 11: Girl, let me hurry up and get my stuff and leave.
- 7:22Speaker 12: And I'd just be like, oh.
- 7:23Speaker 13: He's so crazy.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Damn, really? Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Wow. They were like, okay, we got a little bit
- 7:33Speaker 4: too late.
- 7:34Speaker 1: You don't think that's doing too much?
- 7:36Speaker 7: You know, they just out there.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Wait, you don't think that's doing too much?
- 7:40Speaker 10: I mean, like I said, that's the type of crazy
- 7:43Speaker 10: I use today. You know, in my younger years, I
- 7:48Speaker 10: used to think that type of stuff was cute until
- 7:51Speaker 10: they got to the point that I had to get
- 7:52Speaker 10: a restraining order.
- 7:53Speaker 12: Then, you know, it went too far.
- 7:55Speaker 7: Wow.
- 7:56Speaker 1: All right.
- 7:57Speaker 2: All right.
- 7:58Speaker 4: All right.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I'm glad you got over that.
- 8:02Speaker 12: Got over there real quick.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Got old.
- 8:04Speaker 1: All right. Thanks for calling.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Bye.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I mean, regulating on, should you be regulating on your
- 8:11Speaker 2: spouse or your partner?
- 8:12Speaker 1: Should you, that's just ridiculous. You can't regulate. They're adults.
- 8:15Speaker 1: They can make their own decisions. Why are you regulating
- 8:17Speaker 1: like that?
- 8:19Speaker 12: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 8:20Speaker 2: So last night I was out with some buddies of mine.
- 8:22Speaker 2: It was afternoon, four or five, it was about five o'clock.
- 8:25Speaker 2: You know, we got there, barn grill. And one of
- 8:28Speaker 2: the buddies knew some girls that were, you know, at
- 8:30Speaker 2: a couple of tables over it. And one of the girls,
- 8:34Speaker 2: her man showed up to pick her up because she
- 8:37Speaker 2: was past her curfew.
- 8:39Speaker 1: You're adults.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Who has a curfew as an adult? That seems a
- 8:46Speaker 2: little excessive. But to regulate on your spouse like that?
- 8:50Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 8:52Speaker 7: What's up, Romeo?
- 8:54Speaker 4: Radio Rob here.
- 8:54Speaker 1: What up, Rob?
- 8:55Speaker 11: What's up, brother?
- 8:57Speaker 4: Hey, back in the day.
- 9:00Speaker 11: Me and my homie used to have a softball team,
- 9:02Speaker 11: and then one day we got out of the game late.
- 9:04Speaker 11: We went and had some pizza and some beer. Then
- 9:06Speaker 11: we ended up at this little club, right? And out
- 9:09Speaker 11: of nowhere, brother, he's on.
- 9:12Speaker 7: The dance floor.
- 9:12Speaker 11: I'm shooting pool, and I look over. His wife was
- 9:15Speaker 11: sitting there with a baby in one hand with a
- 9:17Speaker 11: pamper and a chocolate in the other hand and a
- 9:20Speaker 11: nightgown with some slippers on, brother, telling him to get home.
- 9:25Speaker 13: I was like, what?
- 9:26Speaker 1: Wow, that's insane.
- 9:31Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 9:32Speaker 11: To this day, we never let him live it down, brother.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Oh, how could you? You could never.
- 9:36Speaker 2: It's a good thing there wasn't cell phones back then
- 9:38Speaker 2: to video the whole thing.
- 9:39Speaker 11: Oh, I know.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Brother, man.
- 9:42Speaker 13: Talk about the funny stuff.
- 9:44Speaker 1: All right, Rob.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Later, man.
- 9:46Speaker 1: But that's to regulate. You're regulating on your spouse, right?
- 9:51Speaker 1: All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7-0, Rome.
- 9:54Speaker 2: You're about to wake up all the toxicas bragging about
- 9:57Speaker 2: their insecurities with their men, the I just, I can't
- 10:00Speaker 2: believe that you're in a relationship where you have rules,
- 10:04Speaker 2: where somebody could actually tell you something, like you have
- 10:07Speaker 2: a curfew.
- 10:08Speaker 1: If you go out, you need to be home by
- 10:10Speaker 1: a certain time.
- 10:10Speaker 5: What?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Oh, come on.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Now, hey, Rome, about that guy that went looking for
- 10:15Speaker 2: his girl that has a curfew, she probably has priors.
- 10:20Speaker 1: She most likely a cheater. Well, that's if you guys
- 10:22Speaker 1: want to try to justify it that way. Maybe, maybe,
- 10:25Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Rome, that's some insecure machismo. He's probably one of those
- 10:30Speaker 2: little bees that.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Uh, oh yeah, maybe he does. I don't know about
- 10:35Speaker 1: all that. Hey Rome, we are swingers.
- 10:37Speaker 2: We have basic rules that we live our lives by.
- 10:41Speaker 1: They're mutually agreed on.
- 10:43Speaker 2: When you add this component to your relationship, it adds
- 10:46Speaker 2: a lot of variables.
- 10:47Speaker 1: This way you know what to expect from each other. Okay,
- 10:54Speaker 1: that's fine.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Regulating, I mean, having rules because you have a certain
- 10:59Speaker 2: specific relationship, I guess I can understand. But you're giving
- 11:03Speaker 2: a woman a curfew? And it was like 7.30. I mean,
- 11:08Speaker 2: come on. She's out with her friends. She wasn't doing anything.
- 11:11Speaker 2: She's just sitting there having, you know. with her friends.
- 11:16Speaker 2: That doesn't seem crazy to you. Like, like we have, like,
- 11:18Speaker 2: I understand. Uh, we have some funny, like my friends,
- 11:22Speaker 2: some real close friends of mine, they been married forever.
- 11:24Speaker 2: And they have a funny rule where you got to
- 11:26Speaker 2: carry your own stuff. And the wife, one day we
- 11:28Speaker 2: were all out shopping and the husband bought all these clothes.
- 11:31Speaker 12: Right.
- 11:32Speaker 2: And she didn't want to help carry it. So she said, Nope,
- 11:35Speaker 2: you got to carry your own stuff. So now that's
- 11:37Speaker 2: the rule in their relationship. So It's funny, but to
- 11:45Speaker 2: actually go looking for somebody, looking for your spouse because
- 11:49Speaker 2: they got a curfew?
- 11:50Speaker 1: How do we start off? Oh, the Raiders.
- 11:52Speaker 2: Can't wait to watch the Raiders whoop Mahomes' ass on Sunday. Well,
- 11:57Speaker 2: I guess we'll find out, huh? So what are you
- 12:00Speaker 2: going to do if they don't win? Just go hide
- 12:03Speaker 2: like a little girl, like all unaccountable people do when
- 12:06Speaker 2: they text?
- 12:06Speaker 1: All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7-7. It's all good. You can hide
- 12:14Speaker 1: behind a text message. It doesn't matter. I'm used to
- 12:17Speaker 1: it by now.
- 12:19Speaker 2: What did happen in football?
- 12:26Speaker 1: I did watch.
- 12:27Speaker 2: The end of the Bronco game, the Rams and the Broncos.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I watched like the last quarter of that maybe. Yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 2: maybe the last quarter. I did watch the Dallas game.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I don't know what the Dallas and the Ravens.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I watched a little bit of that. I just watched
- 12:44Speaker 1: the endings of those games. I didn't really watch a
- 12:46Speaker 1: whole lot of football. I was out golfing all day. Um,
- 12:50Speaker 1: who won?
- 12:51Speaker 2: Hold on. Let me check these scores. Um, let me
- 12:58Speaker 2: check the scores real quick. Uh, let's see here.
- 13:02Speaker 1: The Falcon.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Oh no, that was Thursday night. Uh, let me see here.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Um, The Chargers lost to the Bills. Remember I told
- 13:13Speaker 1: you about it?
- 13:14Speaker 2: I wonder if there's any accountability for that ESPN guy,
- 13:16Speaker 2: whoever it was, that said, oh, I can see the
- 13:18Speaker 2: Chargers beating the Bills.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Chargers aren't going to go 0-3. Well, the Chargers are 0-3.
- 13:25Speaker 1: The Panthers. Oh, the Browns beat the Panthers. I mean, yeah,
- 13:28Speaker 1: the Browns beat the Panthers, huh? Are the Panthers good?
- 13:34Speaker 1: The Jets. The Lions beat the Jets. Let's see here.
- 13:39Speaker 2: The Colts beat the Texans. The Chiefs beat the Dolphins.
- 13:43Speaker 2: The Giants beat the Titans.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Jameis Winston, huh? My man. Steelers beat the Bengals?
- 13:50Speaker 6: Wow.
- 13:51Speaker 2: That's actually a pretty good win for the Steelers, I think.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Commanders beat the Seahawks. That's a good win for the Seahawks.
- 13:57Speaker 2: I mean, for the Commanders, that's.
- 13:59Speaker 1: A good win.
- 14:00Speaker 2: The Jags beat the Patriots, who just don't look good
- 14:03Speaker 2: at all. The Niners came out and beat the Cardinals, huh?
- 14:08Speaker 2: Looks like it was a close game. Six-point game.
- 14:13Speaker 1: The Vikings beat the Buccaneers. The Buccaneers are not very.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Good, huh? The Ravens-Cowboys game. The Raiders beat the Saints.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I don't know if that was a close game or not.
- 14:24Speaker 1: I didn't see it. The Cowboys....
- 14:29Speaker 2: The Ravens beat the Cowboys with seven seconds left.
- 14:33Speaker 11: Wow.
- 14:33Speaker 2: Wow. And they really did help the Cowboys. They tried
- 14:38Speaker 2: to help the Cowboys win with that fake-ass. They had
- 14:42Speaker 2: two horrible calls in both those games. Both those games
- 14:47Speaker 2: that came.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Down to the wire, that.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Pass interference call was just a horrible pass interference call
- 14:56Speaker 2: for the Cowboys, which was just totally wrong. And then
- 14:59Speaker 2: in the Rams game, the Rams got hosed with that–
- 15:03Speaker 2: Pass interference call they called when the guy intercepted it.
- 15:05Speaker 1: That would have ended the game. Yeah, they got hosed
- 15:07Speaker 1: on that deal.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I don't know if his knee was down or not,
- 15:11Speaker 2: but it definitely was not pass interference on either one
- 15:15Speaker 2: of those games.
- 15:17Speaker 1: So, yeah.
- 15:19Speaker 2: So the Rams are 1-2. Cowboys are 1-2. I wonder
- 15:26Speaker 2: if they're still them boys. I wonder what the Cowboy
- 15:28Speaker 2: fans are doing today.
- 15:32Speaker 1: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Yo, Rome, Raiders are 3-0. The Raiders are 3-0.
- 15:39Speaker 1: Absolutely. Three of the worst teams in the NFL. They beat.
- 15:42Speaker 1: That's impressive. You know, if you can't beat the worst
- 15:45Speaker 1: teams in the NFL.
- 15:46Speaker 9: Man, Romeo, so this is what it feels like to
- 15:48Speaker 9: be undefeated.
- 15:51Speaker 4: Sure.
- 15:51Speaker 1: 3-0.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Yeah. 3-0, man.
- 15:54Speaker 9: We're playing good out there. You see Bowers out there?
- 15:57Speaker 3: No.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I didn't see the game at all. I didn't see
- 15:59Speaker 1: any part of the game. It wasn't on TV, and
- 16:02Speaker 1: I wasn't near one, so no.
- 16:04Speaker 4: It was actually a good game.
- 16:07Speaker 9: Everybody worked together, and we ended up winning. So, I mean,
- 16:10Speaker 9: we can't catch a break because if we lose against
- 16:14Speaker 9: the sorriest teams, we suck. If we win against the
- 16:16Speaker 9: sorriest teams, we still suck.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Nobody said you suck. You're just supposed to beat the
- 16:21Speaker 1: sorriest team. I mean, why would you?
- 16:23Speaker 2: If you don't beat the sorriest teams, you're the sorriest team.
- 16:26Speaker 2: You're beating the sorriest team, so way to go.
- 16:29Speaker 9: Are we going to make a friendly wager on next
- 16:32Speaker 9: week's game?
- 16:32Speaker 4: No.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Why would I bet on a game that I have
- 16:34Speaker 1: no control over? What kind of stupid are you people?
- 16:38Speaker 9: Because the next game is like the Super Bowl for us.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Are you really that? You guys are so stupid.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Why would I bet on something that I have absolutely
- 16:47Speaker 2: no control over?
- 16:49Speaker 9: Like you wear a Raider jersey or I'll wear a
- 16:51Speaker 9: Chiefs jersey. Whoever wins, you know.
- 16:53Speaker 1: You guys are so stupid. You guys are so stupid.
- 16:59Speaker 2: You know, I actually know Raider Dave, and I actually
- 17:05Speaker 2: thought Raider Dave's life was better than what it really is.
- 17:09Speaker 2: But you losers are so, I mean, does your life
- 17:13Speaker 2: really suck that bad that you have to live vicariously
- 17:16Speaker 2: through a football team? That is what you get your
- 17:20Speaker 2: success out of in your life? I thought Raider Dave
- 17:23Speaker 2: was more successful than that. Hey, you have a Chiefs
- 17:25Speaker 2: fan checking if them Cowboys are.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Still them boys, Raiders. Cowboys are embarrassing, boy. The Cowboys
- 17:34Speaker 1: are embarrassing.
- 17:37Speaker 2: After yesterday's game, domestic violence chimes were definitely up after
- 17:41Speaker 2: the Cowboys and Seahawks lost.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Oh, God, no. Domestic violence is down because the Raiders
- 17:47Speaker 1: are winning.
- 17:48Speaker 9: Yeah, Romeo, so this is what it feels like to
- 17:50Speaker 9: be undefeated.
- 17:52Speaker 7: Sure, 3-0, yeah.
- 17:55Speaker 4: 3-0, man.
- 17:56Speaker 9: We're playing good out there. You see Bowers out there?
- 17:58Speaker 1: No. I didn't see the game at all. I didn't
- 18:01Speaker 1: see any part of the game. It wasn't on TV,
- 18:03Speaker 1: and I wasn't near one, so no.
- 18:06Speaker 9: It was actually a good game. Everybody worked together, and
- 18:10Speaker 9: we ended up winning. So, I mean, we can't catch
- 18:14Speaker 9: a break, because if we lose against the Sarius teams,
- 18:16Speaker 9: we suck. If we win against the Sarius teams, we
- 18:19Speaker 9: still suck.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Nobody said you suck. You're just supposed to beat the
- 18:23Speaker 2: sorriest team. If you don't beat the sorriest teams, you're
- 18:26Speaker 2: the sorriest team. You're beating the sorriest team, so way
- 18:30Speaker 2: to go.
- 18:31Speaker 9: Are we going to make a friendly wager on next
- 18:33Speaker 9: week's game?
- 18:34Speaker 7: No.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Why would I bet on a game that I have
- 18:36Speaker 1: no control over? What kind of stupid are you people?
- 18:39Speaker 9: Because the next game is like the Super Bowl for us.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Are you really that? You guys are so stupid.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Why would I bet on something that I have absolutely
- 18:48Speaker 2: no control over?
- 18:50Speaker 9: Like you wear a Raider jersey or I'll wear a
- 18:53Speaker 9: Chiefs jersey, whoever wins, you know.
- 18:56Speaker 2: You guys are so stupid. I just, you guys are
- 19:00Speaker 2: so stupid. You know, I actually know Raider Dave. And
- 19:06Speaker 2: I actually thought Raider Dave's life was better than what
- 19:09Speaker 2: it really is. But you losers are so, I mean,
- 19:14Speaker 2: does your life really suck that bad? that you have
- 19:17Speaker 2: to live vicariously through a football team. That is what
- 19:21Speaker 2: you get your success out of in your life? I
- 19:24Speaker 2: thought Raider Dave was more successful than that. Hey, you
- 19:27Speaker 2: have a Chiefs fan checking if them Cowboys are.
- 19:29Speaker 1: Still them boys, Raiders. Cowboys are embarrassing, boy. The Cowboys
- 19:35Speaker 1: are embarrassing.
- 19:38Speaker 2: After yesterday's game, domestic violence crimes were definitely up after
- 19:43Speaker 2: the Cowboys and Seahawks lost.
- 19:44Speaker 4: Oh, God, no.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Domestic violence is down because the Raiders are winning.
- 19:49Speaker 2: 34-254-7-7.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, where them boys at? The Cowboys. Man, the
- 20:00Speaker 1: referees tried to give the Cowboys that game, man. They tried,
- 20:04Speaker 1: but the Cowboys blew it. They tried. Cowboys just couldn't
- 20:08Speaker 1: hold on for seven more seconds, huh? Yeah, that was, yeah,
- 20:14Speaker 1: that was something else, man. That was something else. They
- 20:18Speaker 1: tried to give the, they tried to give the Broncos
- 20:23Speaker 1: that game too.
- 20:25Speaker 5: And they did.
- 20:29Speaker 2: I think the refs tried to give the Cowboys a
- 20:31Speaker 2: game and they tried to give the Broncos the game.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Worked out for the Cowboys. I mean, it worked out
- 20:35Speaker 2: for the Broncos. It didn't work out for the Cowboys.
- 20:38Speaker 1: So, I don't know. What are you going to do?
- 20:40Speaker 1: It looks like the Niners. Nobody's talking about the Niners
- 20:42Speaker 1: right now at 3-0, right?
- 20:44Speaker 2: I mean, nothing really matters until about five games in,
- 20:47Speaker 2: five or six games in, is really when you start
- 20:49Speaker 2: to see who's what and what's where, you know?
- 20:53Speaker 1: And then.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That's where you start to really see, I think, about
- 20:58Speaker 2: five or six games in, right, is you start to
- 20:59Speaker 2: see who's good and who's not. I really don't know
- 21:02Speaker 2: who's good and who's not right now.
- 21:04Speaker 1: To be honest with you.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I mean, if you're going to look at it, the
- 21:06Speaker 2: Niners have been a decent team for the past few years.
- 21:10Speaker 2: So I don't think anybody, you know, you shouldn't expect
- 21:13Speaker 2: them to not be 3-0. I mean, Seattle just lost,
- 21:17Speaker 2: but they're there. The Cowboys are doing what the Cowboys do.
- 21:22Speaker 2: They win a few games and then they.
- 21:26Speaker 2: You know, they beat mediocre. They beat bad teams and
- 21:29Speaker 2: mediocre teams. They don't really beat good teams. And I
- 21:32Speaker 2: don't know if the Ravens are a good team or not,
- 21:34Speaker 2: but would you really count out, do you really want
- 21:36Speaker 2: to go against Lamar Jackson?
- 21:38Speaker 1: I mean, he's pretty good. So that just is what
- 21:43Speaker 1: it is.
- 21:43Speaker 2: I mean, as far as the Raiders go, they got
- 21:46Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins that's doing exactly what Kirk Cousins does. He
- 21:51Speaker 2: goes to a new team. He wins a couple of games.
- 21:53Speaker 2: He gets paid a bunch of money. and accomplishes nothing. So,
- 21:58Speaker 2: I mean, they're right on, the Raiders are right on
- 22:00Speaker 2: schedule with Kirk Cousins. Win a few games, look good,
- 22:04Speaker 2: and accomplish nothing. So, but for, you know, Raider fans,
- 22:09Speaker 2: they're so pathetic and their lives suck so much. This
- 22:12Speaker 2: is an, three games is an accomplishment for them. I mean,
- 22:15Speaker 2: that's how excitable they are. When you have nothing else
- 22:19Speaker 2: to live for, except for, you know, three wins, what
- 22:23Speaker 2: are you going to do? As far as the Rams,
- 22:26Speaker 2: I mean, the Rams were supposed to be a Super
- 22:30Speaker 2: Bowl contender this year. But, you know, it's not looking
- 22:35Speaker 2: like it now. But, like I said, it's only three games.
- 22:38Speaker 2: You have to figure it all out.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Three games. You have to wait for a few more
- 22:42Speaker 1: games to figure out what's going on.
- 22:45Speaker 5: You know?
- 22:46Speaker 1: We'll see what happens.
- 22:47Speaker 11: All right, Romeo.
- 22:48Speaker 9: I guess I am just a little excited. I guess
- 22:50Speaker 9: we're not allowed to celebrate here.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I'm just glad you're not celebrating.
- 22:56Speaker 9: Well, because we're winning. We're winning right now. You know,
- 22:58Speaker 9: I thought it was football season. We could have a
- 23:00Speaker 9: little fun, but I'll calm down.
- 23:02Speaker 4: I'll wait a little bit.
- 23:05Speaker 12: Okay.
- 23:06Speaker 9: I just know all my Raiders out there right now
- 23:08Speaker 9: are excited and ecstatic as I am. For what?
- 23:11Speaker 5: Because we're winning.
- 23:13Speaker 7: We're doing good.
- 23:14Speaker 9: Regardless if we're playing against sorry teams, we're actually playing
- 23:17Speaker 9: as a team. No penalties, no calls, no turnovers. We're
- 23:21Speaker 9: looking good. Yeah, against the worst.
- 23:23Speaker 6: Teams in the NFL.
- 23:25Speaker 9: Yeah, but normally, you know, you're so.
- 23:27Speaker 1: I can't.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I just, I can't with stupidity. You guys, Raider fans,
- 23:32Speaker 2: I thought you were getting better, but you're not. You're
- 23:34Speaker 2: just getting more and more idiotic. The more and more
- 23:37Speaker 2: you win, the dumber you look.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, it's Silos. Check it up on them Cowboy
- 23:42Speaker 1: fans to make sure they're okay. After that loss yesterday. Yeah,
- 23:46Speaker 1: they got The Cowboys got embarrassed yesterday. Oh, my God.
- 23:52Speaker 1: What a joke.
- 23:54Speaker 2: Dak Prescott had a chance for a touchdown and just
- 23:56Speaker 2: threw it away like an idiot.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Guy was wide open. What a moron.
- 24:01Speaker 2: Hi, from the Just Wing It studios. Monday Night Football tonight.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Who do we got? We got the Eagles and the
- 24:07Speaker 2: Bears going at it. Probably was going to be a
- 24:10Speaker 2: great matchup. But now with Caleb Williams out, Case Keenum,
- 24:14Speaker 2: I think, is starting. But we still got some great
- 24:17Speaker 2: drink specials. I'm sure the Eagles fans and the Bears fans.
- 24:19Speaker 2: The Bears are probably going to get their butts whooped
- 24:21Speaker 2: pretty good.
- 24:22Speaker 1: It's probably not even going to be close. But we'll
- 24:24Speaker 1: go out. We'll have some cold beer. That ice cold
- 24:27Speaker 1: 26 degree beer.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Got $ 5 domestic drafts. Got $ 5 wells. We got 50
- 24:35Speaker 2: cent boneless wings. And, of course, we got the golf simulators.
- 24:38Speaker 2: We got wall-to-wall TVs. Just wing it may have the
- 24:43Speaker 2: best setup for watching football. The one over at the Marketplace,
- 24:48Speaker 2: where we'll be tonight, 5 o'clock, might be the best
- 24:50Speaker 2: setup in town because they got these wall-to-wall TVs.
- 24:54Speaker 1: They're not the projectors. They're great. It's just crazy. It's
- 24:57Speaker 1: like walking into a video game. It's so amazing.
- 25:00Speaker 2: All right, I'll see you there. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Hey, Rome,
- 25:05Speaker 2: I think I'm going to take the day off, make
- 25:07Speaker 2: some meat, maybe go to the fair and get some
- 25:10Speaker 2: feta fries, and then drink my sorrows away because them
- 25:13Speaker 2: boys lost and sucked.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Shout out to Ruben.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I'm sure he has his happy birthday sash on already.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Poor guy.
- 25:34Speaker 2: You think my boy Ruben's going to be out at
- 25:35Speaker 2: the fair with his happy birthday sash rolling around? Well, he's...
- 25:43Speaker 2: Taking the day off work so he can cook before
- 25:45Speaker 2: they go to the fair.
- 25:46Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Poor Ruben. I think today's Ruben's birthday, I think. Yeah,
- 25:52Speaker 1: he's celebrating. He was celebrating all weekend. Oh, my gosh.
- 25:56Speaker 1: That was funny.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Bro, Miami Dolphins might have lost, but I know Mahomes'
- 26:01Speaker 2: back still hurts this morning.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Okay. I don't know what you're talking about because I
- 26:06Speaker 1: didn't watch the football game. I was out playing golf. Hey, Rome,
- 26:09Speaker 1: you're right.
- 26:10Speaker 2: The refs did try to give the Cowboys that game
- 26:12Speaker 2: with a few bad calls at the end. But the
- 26:14Speaker 2: Cowboys do what do. The Cowboys do what they do.
- 26:18Speaker 1: They choke. Yeah, it was embarrassing. I mean, to not have.
- 26:25Speaker 2: For Dak Prescott to throw away that ball when that
- 26:27Speaker 2: receiver was wide open, to not have the common sense.
- 26:31Speaker 2: He was already committed to throwing it away before he
- 26:34Speaker 2: even saw him.
- 26:35Speaker 1: That just... No, that's just sad. But they tried. They tried.
- 26:39Speaker 2: They also tried to give the, hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 26:43Speaker 2: The cowgirls sucked. Well, they've never been good. I mean,
- 26:48Speaker 2: it's not like they've been good. They've been the same
- 26:52Speaker 2: cowboys for how many years now? Win a few games.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Dak will win you a few games. He'll look spectacular.
- 26:58Speaker 2: He'll look like the greatest quarterback to ever play the game.
- 27:02Speaker 2: But at the end of the day, he's just like
- 27:05Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins. Another loser that's accomplished nothing. You know, they're
- 27:11Speaker 2: like that hot chick that looks good till you marry
- 27:14Speaker 2: her and get her pregnant.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Then she just lets herself go. And now you're stuck
- 27:17Speaker 1: with her.
- 27:18Speaker 12: Mm-hmm.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Well, I hope I do a good impersonation of him, Romeo.
- 27:23Speaker 4: I'm going to call.
- 27:25Speaker 5: Okay, remember last week this guy called, Hey, Romeo, let's
- 27:28Speaker 5: talk about.
- 27:28Speaker 12: What's really going on.
- 27:29Speaker 6: The Rams are back.
- 27:32Speaker 5: I bet you he don't call this week.
- 27:34Speaker 1: The Rams are back. Oh, my God.
- 27:37Speaker 6: You're right.
- 27:37Speaker 4: I remember that.
- 27:39Speaker 5: And I immediately called in and said, Where was.
- 27:42Speaker 4: It last week? Yeah, these idiots.
- 27:44Speaker 1: These Rams fans.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Win or lose, you have to call in.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't.
- 27:50Speaker 4: And I didn't even get to watch any football.
- 27:55Speaker 5: You know, it was by choice, but I was at
- 27:59Speaker 5: a boxing tournament.
- 28:00Speaker 6: So it was fun.
- 28:01Speaker 12: It was good.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I'm going to just say this for both of us, Gilly.
- 28:05Speaker 2: When lives are as good as ours are, we don't
- 28:09Speaker 2: have to sit there and hug our TV and hope
- 28:11Speaker 2: that our team wins. Because I wouldn't play golf if
- 28:13Speaker 2: my buddies had some beers and just hung out. I
- 28:15Speaker 2: didn't even.
- 28:16Speaker 1: worry about the football yesterday. But, you know, when you're
- 28:19Speaker 1: living a life like that, you know, you don't worry
- 28:23Speaker 1: about it.
- 28:24Speaker 5: Well, and you know what?
- 28:26Speaker 4: I agree.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I totally agree.
- 28:28Speaker 5: Annette was putting up some decorations for yesterday. Well, getting
- 28:33Speaker 5: them all ready. She puts them all together before she
- 28:35Speaker 5: puts them out. But anyway, I called her in and
- 28:39Speaker 5: I said, hey, I just got a letter and I said, uh,
- 28:43Speaker 5: There was a 401k that I forgot about when I
- 28:46Speaker 5: used to work at 7-Up. She goes, how much is it?
- 28:50Speaker 4: I go, $ 138, 000.
- 28:50Speaker 5: I go, I forgot all about it.
- 28:54Speaker 4: She goes, woo-hoo, another cruise.
- 28:56Speaker 3: I know.
- 28:56Speaker 1: We won't see you until December. Get out of here.
- 29:00Speaker 13: Later, brother. Later.
- 29:03Speaker 2: You know, when life is good, that's why I say,
- 29:06Speaker 2: that's why I talk about Raider Dave. I thought Raider
- 29:09Speaker 2: Dave was living a better life than he's living. I mean,
- 29:12Speaker 2: he's trying so hard and living so hard through the
- 29:15Speaker 2: Raiders' three wins. I mean, it's to the point of embarrassment, Dave,
- 29:20Speaker 2: if that's all you got. I mean, my gosh, bro,
- 29:22Speaker 2: I thought you were living a better life than that,
- 29:24Speaker 2: to be honest with you. Because happy people, people with
- 29:28Speaker 2: good lives don't live vicariously through a sports team, especially
- 29:33Speaker 2: since you have no control over the winner losses. But
- 29:36Speaker 2: when your life is so pathetic that your only grasp
- 29:39Speaker 2: for happiness is the Raiders 3-0, when they're not going
- 29:44Speaker 2: to win a Super Bowl, they're not going to go undefeated.
- 29:49Speaker 2: If they make the playoffs, they'll lose in the first round.
- 29:52Speaker 2: But when your biggest gratification in life is something that
- 29:57Speaker 2: somebody else is doing, for success that they're actually accomplishing
- 30:02Speaker 2: and you're just trying to live vicariously. I feel sorry
- 30:05Speaker 2: for you guys. I really do. And I thought Raider
- 30:08Speaker 2: Dave was better than that. Hey, what up, Rome? I
- 30:10Speaker 2: want to send a shout out to my boy. I
- 30:13Speaker 2: would tell him things will get better, but he's a
- 30:16Speaker 2: Chargers fan.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 30:18Speaker 6: I know.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Have you seen the thing? Have you seen the thing
- 30:21Speaker 1: going around on social media where the wife goes.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Oh, my husband just let me know that the Super
- 30:25Speaker 2: Bowl is on Valentine's Day. But I don't need to
- 30:28Speaker 2: worry about it because he's a Chargers fan.
- 30:32Speaker 1: The Chargers suck. Rome, the Broncos sure did show up
- 30:36Speaker 1: after halftime. What happened?
- 30:41Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about because I didn't
- 30:42Speaker 2: watch the game. I just watched the end where they
- 30:44Speaker 2: were helping the refs help the Broncos win.
- 30:48Speaker 1: That's all I saw. So I don't know what happened
- 30:50Speaker 1: the rest of the game.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 30:52Speaker 2: Hey, what's up?
- 30:53Speaker 9: Hey, so I heard you didn't watch the game.
- 30:55Speaker 3: I didn't watch the game.
- 30:56Speaker 13: I really don't pay attention to football.
- 30:59Speaker 7: But I was.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Calling to see maybe if I could win some tickets
- 31:02Speaker 3: to Disney on Ice.
- 31:04Speaker 1: Ooh, Disney on Ice? I don't have any of those
- 31:06Speaker 1: right now. I gave them all away last week.
- 31:09Speaker 13: Oh, no.
- 31:09Speaker 9: So what's coming up? What's, like, the giveaways coming up?
- 31:12Speaker 12: I don't know.
- 31:15Speaker 11: I don't know.
- 31:15Speaker 4: I'm stuck in class.
- 31:16Speaker 3: You know, I work at a school and then I'm
- 31:18Speaker 3: stuck in school.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Wait, hold on. If you work at a, hold on,
- 31:21Speaker 1: hold on, hold on.
- 31:22Speaker 2: If you work at a school, you should know everything
- 31:25Speaker 2: that's happening because the kids should be talking about what's
- 31:27Speaker 2: coming to town or what's going.
- 31:29Speaker 1: On in the city.
- 31:29Speaker 3: I'm a preschool teacher. They don't talk.
- 31:31Speaker 4: They just talk about.
- 31:32Speaker 11: Like, you know, K-pop.
- 31:34Speaker 3: And I'm like, okay, I'm trying to get in the
- 31:36Speaker 3: rhythm of K-pop right now.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I'm not sure. Maybe the fair. That's probably all that's
- 31:41Speaker 1: going on right now. The fair is a big deal.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Are you giving takeaways to the parents?
- 31:46Speaker 1: You know, I don't know if I have any or not.
- 31:47Speaker 1: I haven't checked yet, so I'll get to it in
- 31:50Speaker 1: a few minutes, all right?
- 31:51Speaker 9: Okay, sounds good.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Yes, good day.
- 31:52Speaker 5: All right, thanks.
- 31:53Speaker 4: Goodbye.
- 31:54Speaker 7: Good morning, Dom.
- 31:54Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 31:56Speaker 4: Romeo, I'm just a loyal fan, that's all.
- 32:00Speaker 7: Win or lose, I'm showing up.
- 32:03Speaker 9: That's all it is.
- 32:04Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:05Speaker 4: And you and Gilly are kind of revealing how.
- 32:08Speaker 9: You guys aren't as loyal because you guys only show
- 32:11Speaker 9: up when you guys are winning. That's when you guys
- 32:12Speaker 9: talk a lot of crap.
- 32:13Speaker 1: Oh, so yesterday, the Chiefs are 3-0ing yesterday because I
- 32:17Speaker 1: didn't show up. I went to play golf with my buddies.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I'm not a real fan, and they still won?
- 32:23Speaker 4: You're not a real fan.
- 32:24Speaker 1: You're a moron.
- 32:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 32:26Speaker 1: You're an idiot.
- 32:28Speaker 2: The problem with fans like Ray or Dave, and all
- 32:31Speaker 2: of these Raider fans, is that you're so delusional in
- 32:34Speaker 2: your life and your life sucks so bad that you
- 32:38Speaker 2: have to find something to gravitate to, to grab onto,
- 32:43Speaker 2: to make you feel better, to give you self-worth. You
- 32:47Speaker 2: get your self-worth through Kirk Cousins' success, which is... The
- 32:53Speaker 2: stupidest thing I've ever heard. And then to think that
- 33:00Speaker 2: you have to be a fan to the extent of
- 33:05Speaker 2: delusion and idiocy.
- 33:07Speaker 1: That makes you a real fan. Oh, I got to
- 33:10Speaker 1: get a tattoo, man.
- 33:11Speaker 2: If I got a tattoo of my team on my arm,
- 33:15Speaker 2: on my knee, on my chest, if it says Raiders
- 33:17Speaker 2: across my back, man, no, you're a moron. You're not
- 33:20Speaker 2: even part of the team. Okay, stop acting like you
- 33:23Speaker 2: know what you're talking about. I really thought Raider Dave
- 33:26Speaker 2: was better than that. I did not realize, and I'm
- 33:28Speaker 2: a fan of Raider Dave. I was on Raider Dave's
- 33:30Speaker 2: side for, I was still on Raider Dave's side, but.
- 33:35Speaker 1: I guess not.
- 33:36Speaker 2: I guess he's not as, I guess he's not doing
- 33:40Speaker 2: as well in his life as I thought he was. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Rome,
- 33:44Speaker 2: it's C-Lo. Has Lou checked in this morning? He might
- 33:48Speaker 2: still be drunk after the loss to Marcus Mariotti. He
- 33:51Speaker 2: lost to Marcus Mariotti?
- 33:53Speaker 1: Mariotti? How do you say his name?
- 33:56Speaker 2: Oh, who'd the Seahawks lose to? Yeah, I'm a little
- 34:00Speaker 2: surprised Seahawks Lou hasn't called in yet.
- 34:03Speaker 1: But they lost. I get it. Who'd they lose to?
- 34:08Speaker 1: Where's the game at?
- 34:09Speaker 7: Uh....
- 34:11Speaker 2: Who did the Vikings? They lost to the Vikings? Who
- 34:16Speaker 2: did the Seahawks lose to? I can't find it. Oh,
- 34:19Speaker 2: they lost to Washington, to the Commanders.
- 34:21Speaker 1: Okay. Let's see here. What are they talking about? What
- 34:32Speaker 1: is today? Oh, hey, Rome.
- 34:34Speaker 2: Uh, this is, uh, the owner of happy recovery. I'm
- 34:37Speaker 2: sponsoring a golf team at the sheriff's golf tournament. I
- 34:41Speaker 2: don't play golf and I need two more players. Oh,
- 34:45Speaker 2: so you want me to get two players? Send me
- 34:48Speaker 2: the details, details that I'll, uh, when it is. And
- 34:51Speaker 2: I'll let you know if I can get, uh, I
- 34:53Speaker 2: like that guy from happy recovery. I can't remember his name,
- 34:56Speaker 2: but he's a pretty good guy. I mean, even though
- 34:59Speaker 2: he repos your cars, when you don't pay the bill,
- 35:02Speaker 2: Nobody likes that guy, but this guy's a pretty fun,
- 35:05Speaker 2: pretty good guy.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Pretty good guy.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Gives back to the community a lot. Yeah, send me
- 35:10Speaker 2: the details. Let's see here. Raider Rob. Good morning, buddy.
- 35:16Speaker 2: It's Raider Rob. Have a good birthday, Cowboy Reuben. And
- 35:20Speaker 2: you still them boys. Go Raiders. Raider Rob, have a
- 35:24Speaker 2: good day.
- 35:24Speaker 11: Rome.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Are you out fishing? Oh, my God.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Raider Rob's out fishing. And today's Ruben's birthday. He's wearing
- 35:35Speaker 2: his happy birthday sash. Or it's my birthday sash.
- 35:40Speaker 1: What do we got here? Good morning, Hal. What's going on?
- 35:44Speaker 12: Top of the morning, Mr.
- 35:45Speaker 9: Romeo.
- 35:47Speaker 3: What up?
- 35:47Speaker 1: We're Carl's Jr.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Now, right?
- 35:50Speaker 1: We did.
- 35:51Speaker 6: Mr.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Romeo, man.
- 35:52Speaker 5: What up, man?
- 35:55Speaker 7: For my next 25 drive-thru customers, man, I'm giving them three.
- 36:00Speaker 11: Crunchy tacos, man, for that 3-0.
- 36:05Speaker 1: The three tacos for 3-0.
- 36:07Speaker 2: I'm telling you, Mr. Romeo, man, I'm hooking it up
- 36:12Speaker 2: for my next 20 drive-thru customers.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Well, let them know.
- 36:18Speaker 5: Hey, man, they better get in line right now because
- 36:21Speaker 5: we're going to have a tough schedule coming up. You know?
- 36:25Speaker 1: It's going to be a little rougher. I mean, it'll
- 36:27Speaker 1: get a little rougher, yeah.
- 36:28Speaker 12: It's going to get pretty tough, man.
- 36:30Speaker 7: You know, in all.
- 36:31Speaker 5: Reality, man, this is where they separate.
- 36:34Speaker 4: Them boys and the girls, you know?
- 36:35Speaker 1: Yeah, well, some of them girls are tougher than them boys,
- 36:38Speaker 1: so you better be careful when you make a statement
- 36:40Speaker 1: like that.
- 36:41Speaker 11: Hey, man, all I know, man, them cowgirls, they look
- 36:44Speaker 11: so tough.
- 36:49Speaker 1: Now they're embarrassing. That's embarrassing.
- 36:52Speaker 13: Man, you can't give that guy, man, not that little
- 36:55Speaker 13: bit of time.
- 36:56Speaker 7: Wow.
- 36:56Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? That was embarrassing.
- 36:59Speaker 12: Yeah? Man, Mr.
- 37:01Speaker 13: Romeo, man, you better come right through here, man.
- 37:03Speaker 11: I'm going to give you six crunchy tacos with hopes
- 37:06Speaker 11: we go that far with the O.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Okay. All right.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Get out of here.
- 37:13Speaker 1: All right. Crunchy tacos.
- 37:15Speaker 2: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7-8.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Rome, let's be real. The Raiders.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Ain't making the playoffs. Well, we'll see what happens. They
- 37:23Speaker 1: might make the playoffs, but they damn sure ain't going
- 37:25Speaker 1: to win a game if they make it.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Rome, the Broncos were down 16-0, came back for the win.
- 37:31Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or
- 37:34Speaker 2: a mile. Winning is winning. If the refs helped us win,
- 37:38Speaker 2: hopefully they help us win the.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Super Bowl, too.
- 37:41Speaker 5: Oh, what are the.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 37:44Speaker 2: The Broncos don't look good enough to even make it
- 37:47Speaker 2: to the Super Bowl. I would say that the Oh, man,
- 37:51Speaker 2: the Broncos look tough. But that's the thing. We were
- 37:53Speaker 2: having that conversation today, me and a buddy of mine,
- 37:56Speaker 2: about are the Raiders, I mean the Raiders, are the
- 38:00Speaker 2: Rams and the Broncos good? Or what do you get
- 38:05Speaker 2: from that game? It was a great game, fun to watch.
- 38:07Speaker 2: I mean, don't get me wrong. That game in the
- 38:09Speaker 2: Cowboy game.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Was fun to watch. But, I mean, are the Rams good?
- 38:15Speaker 1: They're supposed to be.
- 38:16Speaker 2: I mean, the problem is, though, Most of you get
- 38:20Speaker 2: your analysis from these idiots on ESPN, so you believe
- 38:24Speaker 2: what they say about a team. And you don't really
- 38:26Speaker 2: know if the team is good or not because you
- 38:28Speaker 2: guys don't know what you're watching on football. You just
- 38:31Speaker 2: listen to the analysts and go, oh, they're great because
- 38:33Speaker 2: the analysts, they said they're great.
- 38:35Speaker 1: So they're great when the reality is.
- 38:37Speaker 2: No, they're just, you know, somebody actually said on ESPN
- 38:41Speaker 2: last week that the Chargers could beat the Bills.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Come on now. That's just stupid. So I don't know.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I don't know if the Broncos and the Rams are
- 38:50Speaker 2: good or if they're just two mediocre teams that play
- 38:54Speaker 2: at the same level.
- 38:55Speaker 1: So it was a great game, you know?
- 38:58Speaker 2: Oh, Roland.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Roland showed up. My resident Cowboy fan. What a big R.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Another sad Monday. My Cowboys did it again. Let one
- 39:05Speaker 1: get away by calling a stupid call and not stepping
- 39:09Speaker 1: up when needed. Going to be a long season now.
- 39:14Speaker 1: long season. How about a long decade, Roland? What's going on?
- 39:18Speaker 4: What up, Joe?
- 39:19Speaker 12: Hey, man. All of a sudden, where are all these
- 39:23Speaker 12: people coming from wearing jerseys over the Raiders, dude?
- 39:29Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 39:30Speaker 9: All of a sudden, everybody's on Facebook and Instagram.
- 39:34Speaker 12: Raiders, Raiders, Raiders.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Where were they at the last five years when we
- 39:38Speaker 4: were dug in the dirt?
- 39:40Speaker 1: They were sitting with the Niner fans that just jumped
- 39:43Speaker 1: on that bandwagon. They were all at the same place.
- 39:46Speaker 4: The worst dude is bandwagoners.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Gosh, darn.
- 39:51Speaker 4: I was like... We still got a ton.
- 39:54Speaker 9: Dude, we got the Chiefs, the Bills.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you got a long way to go.
- 39:59Speaker 4: We got the Patriots. We got Denver.
- 40:02Speaker 9: Dude, we got a hell of a schedule coming up.
- 40:04Speaker 12: We got the Seahawks and 49ers.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Here's the thing, Joe, what I think happened.
- 40:10Speaker 2: I think that you got these new Raider fans, these
- 40:13Speaker 2: new ones that are the bandwagon. They're the ones that
- 40:17Speaker 2: want to be on TikTok and social media with their fandom.
- 40:21Speaker 2: But they're a bunch of fake-ass fans. The old Raider
- 40:24Speaker 2: fans are still there. You guys just don't know how
- 40:26Speaker 2: to work TikTok.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Oh, we were still scared as hell last night.
- 40:29Speaker 6: We were going to lose.
- 40:30Speaker 8: I mean, the last, I mean, even though we dominated
- 40:33Speaker 8: the last six minutes, we were still, everybody was quiet.
- 40:36Speaker 6: Everybody was quiet.
- 40:39Speaker 4: We're like, dude, we got past trauma.
- 40:41Speaker 12: I mean, we're used to blowing.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Oh, that's hilarious, Joe.
- 40:45Speaker 4: You know, and then they called that call where it
- 40:48Speaker 4: was like, no one even did anything. And they called
- 40:51Speaker 4: that fumble back, you know, and then I thought, oh,
- 40:55Speaker 4: here it goes. Here it comes.
- 40:57Speaker 12: We're going to lose again.
- 40:58Speaker 4: And then we take it away. I was like, oh, okay,
- 41:01Speaker 4: we're different this time. Coaching matters.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Well, you got Kirk Cousins.
- 41:05Speaker 4: Coaching matters, Rome. You know what I mean? Coaching does matter.
- 41:10Speaker 1: We'll see what happens.
- 41:12Speaker 4: You can see it.
- 41:12Speaker 8: But also, I was going to say, the Rams game,
- 41:15Speaker 8: they kind of had it stuck to them, too, by
- 41:18Speaker 8: the Rams.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Oh, they got screwed over. The Rams got screwed.
- 41:20Speaker 8: They tried to screw them like us, you know, but
- 41:23Speaker 8: we got lucky and took the ball back. But they
- 41:25Speaker 8: were giving New Orleans a chance to get that game back.
- 41:28Speaker 4: It's like they did the Rams. I wouldn't play golf, Joe.
- 41:31Speaker 1: I didn't watch any football. I watched very little.
- 41:34Speaker 12: Oh, yeah?
- 41:35Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, the Dodgers won their 100th game. I hope
- 41:42Speaker 4: you were watching that.
- 41:44Speaker 1: No, it was on.
- 41:45Speaker 4: It was on.
- 41:46Speaker 2: I actually did go by Rubens and have some beers
- 41:48Speaker 2: after golf, and it was on, but I didn't pay.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Attention to it either.
- 41:51Speaker 4: Right on.
- 41:52Speaker 12: Right on.
- 41:52Speaker 1: All right, Joe.
- 41:54Speaker 4: Well, have a good day, brother.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Later, brother.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Bye.
- 41:57Speaker 1: All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7-Rome.
- 41:59Speaker 2: So if you didn't watch the game, that means you
- 42:01Speaker 2: didn't see Mahomes get knocked on his ass by Miami.
- 42:04Speaker 1: Was that– oh, no, yeah, I didn't see it.
- 42:07Speaker 2: Was that before or after– the Miami lost 24 to 10. Hey,
- 42:11Speaker 2: good morning, Rome. A master debater here.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Hear me out.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I strongly and physically believe the Raiders versus the 49ers
- 42:20Speaker 2: have a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Our
- 42:23Speaker 2: second most possible option is Raiders versus Seahawks in the
- 42:27Speaker 2: Super Bowl.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I'm ready to debate. Also, do you ever call off?
- 42:32Speaker 1: You're at work every morning. Well, No, I never call off.
- 42:36Speaker 1: I go to work every day. That's what men do.
- 42:38Speaker 1: They get up and go to work every day.
- 42:42Speaker 2: The Niners and the Raiders in the Super Bowl or
- 42:45Speaker 2: the Seahawks and the Raiders. Three wins against the three
- 42:55Speaker 2: worst teams in the NFL is what gives you the
- 43:00Speaker 2: argument that as a master gives you the argument that
- 43:05Speaker 2: The Raiders are going to the Super Bowl. Not the
- 43:08Speaker 2: fact that Kirk Cousins has only won one playoff game
- 43:12Speaker 2: in the four that he's gone to. And he's been
- 43:15Speaker 2: in the league for 14 years. 12 years, 14 years.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Either 12 or 14 years. I can't remember which one
- 43:22Speaker 2: it is.
- 43:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:25Speaker 2: And that's your argument. Three wins against three of the
- 43:28Speaker 2: worst teams in the NFL.
- 43:31Speaker 6: No way.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Master debater. How about masturbator?
- 43:36Speaker 2: Live from the Just Wing It studios. Don't forget Monday
- 43:39Speaker 2: Night Football tonight. We're going to be at the Marketplace
- 43:41Speaker 2: over there. The Just Wing It, the Marketplace.
- 43:43Speaker 1: I'll see you there. Good morning, Rome. It's Julio here.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Just checking on them Cowboy fans. When I go to.
- 43:51Speaker 2: The fair tonight for the Gretchen Wilson concert, most likely
- 43:54Speaker 2: won't see a Cowboy jersey. They are right on the
- 43:57Speaker 2: schedule to disappoint. They're right on schedule to disappoint.
- 44:01Speaker 1: You know.
- 44:02Speaker 2: I will say this, though, about the Cowboys. They tried.
- 44:09Speaker 2: The refs tried. You know, it's funny with all this
- 44:11Speaker 2: technology they have for, you know, trying to make games fair. Boy,
- 44:20Speaker 2: they tried.
- 44:21Speaker 1: The Cowboys, I ain't going to lie, it looks like
- 44:23Speaker 1: the Cowboys got hosed. I don't know. Maybe.
- 44:25Speaker 2: Maybe that was they tried for the Cowboys. I mean,
- 44:30Speaker 2: they tried to help the Cowboys win so bad. and
- 44:33Speaker 2: it didn't work out for them. Then they tried to
- 44:35Speaker 2: help the Broncos win so bad, and it worked out
- 44:37Speaker 2: for the Broncos. Boy, with all this technology, and they
- 44:40Speaker 2: still have such egregious calls in the NFL, it's pretty crazy.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Good morning, Al. What's going on? Hey, Lou.
- 44:49Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 44:49Speaker 5: How are you?
- 44:50Speaker 1: I'm doing fabulous. I don't know. How are you?
- 44:52Speaker 3: I'm doing good.
- 44:53Speaker 4: I'm doing good.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Winners usually are.
- 44:57Speaker 4: Yeah. Even when they lose.
- 44:59Speaker 11: You know, I didn't even watch the game in reality.
- 45:03Speaker 4: It feels good to lose, you know?
- 45:05Speaker 1: You didn't watch the game?
- 45:07Speaker 4: Nah, I didn't watch the game.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Oh, how come?
- 45:10Speaker 9: I got mad by halftime and I was like, let's
- 45:12Speaker 9: just go.
- 45:20Speaker 7: It's all good, you know.
- 45:22Speaker 13: We've been winning since, like, November.
- 45:25Speaker 4: So, you know, it feels good to lose. Like, it's weird.
- 45:30Speaker 1: It's like the Raiders.
- 45:32Speaker 4: They feel weird to be 3-0. Like, what? This hasn't
- 45:35Speaker 4: happened to us.
- 45:36Speaker 1: Oh, my God. That's hilarious.
- 45:39Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 45:41Speaker 4: But, hey, I also want to give a shout-out to Ruben.
- 45:44Speaker 4: Happy official birthday.
- 45:45Speaker 1: Is today Ruben's birthday?
- 45:47Speaker 4: I think it's today.
- 45:48Speaker 12: Yeah, yeah.
- 45:48Speaker 4: He said it was Monday.
- 45:49Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 45:51Speaker 4: You should give him some Disney on Ice tickets so
- 45:53Speaker 4: I could go with him, the guy CeeLo that texted
- 45:56Speaker 4: you about me, and I don't know, a picture of Tyrone?
- 46:00Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 46:02Speaker 2: I should stop being Ruben's friend because it's embarrassing that
- 46:05Speaker 2: he's celebrating his birthday the way that he is.
- 46:08Speaker 1: Nah, nah.
- 46:09Speaker 4: You can continue being his friend. We have mutual friends.
- 46:12Speaker 2: You guys are all an embarrassment. You guys are an
- 46:15Speaker 2: embarrassment to me.
- 46:16Speaker 1: To manhood. I'm just letting you guys know that right now.
- 46:19Speaker 1: All of you. Raider Dave, you, Ruben.
- 46:23Speaker 5: Man.
- 46:24Speaker 1: You guys are an embarrassment.
- 46:26Speaker 5: But this is called a Romeo and Friends, right?
- 46:30Speaker 9: So we're all your friends, even though we're embarrassing you.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Oh, God, yeah. It's embarrassing.
- 46:35Speaker 2: All right.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Get out of here, Luke.
- 46:38Speaker 1: That's hilarious. Yeah, it's embarrassing. You guys are all embarrassments.
- 46:43Speaker 7: Happy birthday, Luke.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Ruben, happy birthday. Ruben, happy birthday to Ruben. Happy birthday
- 46:58Speaker 4: to you.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Good morning, y'all. What's going on?
- 47:03Speaker 4: Hey, Romeo.
- 47:05Speaker 2: What up, man?
- 47:06Speaker 4: Where do you get these stats from, Kirk Cousins? That's fine.
- 47:10Speaker 4: But can you bring up Sam Darnold last year? What
- 47:14Speaker 4: did he do? He never won anything. He just went and.
- 47:17Speaker 7: Just blew that damn year up and won the Super Bowl.
- 47:22Speaker 4: Why can't Kirk Cousins do it, baby? Raiders are back, baby.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Good morning, hon. What's going on?
- 47:27Speaker 13: Where's Arnold, man?
- 47:28Speaker 4: I got to talk about the Raiders. He's like, we
- 47:30Speaker 4: were talking about this morning.
- 47:33Speaker 5: Kirk Cousins is the white Jack Prescott.
- 47:37Speaker 12: I'm surprised no one else has figured it out yet.
- 47:41Speaker 12: He will get old.
- 47:42Speaker 7: He'll look good during the regular season, and guess what's.
- 47:44Speaker 5: Going to happen?
- 47:46Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 47:47Speaker 8: And like the last guy they called in, next four
- 47:49Speaker 8: games is going to be the test.
- 47:53Speaker 4: I don't expect them to win that one game, to
- 47:55Speaker 4: be honest with you.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Well, no, they'll win. They might not beat the Broncos.
- 48:00Speaker 1: The Chiefs, they're going to.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Well, the problem with the Chiefs and the Broncos is
- 48:03Speaker 2: they usually split every year.
- 48:05Speaker 9: Yeah, and then they don't play with more heart and all.
- 48:10Speaker 1: That type stuff. I don't think the Patriots can beat them.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I think the Patriots suck, but we'll see what happens.
- 48:16Speaker 5: Yeah, but why hasn't no one figured out Kirk Cousins yet?
- 48:19Speaker 12: Regular season, he's a stud.
- 48:21Speaker 3: Well, yeah.
- 48:22Speaker 12: And that's why, like you said, he's made over $ 300
- 48:24Speaker 12: million in his career.
- 48:26Speaker 4: Because he's legit. Once again. He turns the deck fresh, Scott.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Once again, because, Arnold, people who are miserable in their
- 48:39Speaker 2: lives have nothing to grasp to except for somebody else's success,
- 48:44Speaker 2: and that's the majority of Raider fans.
- 48:46Speaker 7: Yeah, and you hit the nail on the head when
- 48:48Speaker 7: you said you put all your effort and all your
- 48:51Speaker 7: heart and no control over it.
- 48:52Speaker 1: No control over at all.
- 48:54Speaker 9: And then it ruins your day, and then that's how
- 48:57Speaker 9: you end up in jail.
- 48:58Speaker 4: And that's how I stay employed.
- 49:01Speaker 7: Get out of here.
- 49:03Speaker 4: So thank you.
- 49:04Speaker 13: Later.
- 49:06Speaker 4: What's up, Rome?
- 49:07Speaker 1: Roman!
- 49:08Speaker 4: Rome, I can't believe, dude, like.
- 49:11Speaker 12: Bro, that guy cannot sing for nothing. He can't even
- 49:14Speaker 12: sing a happy birthday song, bro.
- 49:15Speaker 4: That's bad. That is really bad. When you're trying to
- 49:18Speaker 4: act like you're some famous rapper.
- 49:20Speaker 12: Singer, whatever you call yourself, and you can't even sing
- 49:23Speaker 12: a good happy birthday?
- 49:24Speaker 4: Damn, bro.
- 49:26Speaker 12: But, hey, he tries. We got to give a Raider
- 49:28Speaker 12: fan a credit when they try. Well, I want to
- 49:33Speaker 12: hit you real quick on the guy that called earlier
- 49:35Speaker 12: and said that, you know, the Dodgers, he was telling
- 49:37Speaker 12: you about the Dodgers 1-2.
- 49:39Speaker 4: And all this stuff. He was all excited because the
- 49:40Speaker 4: Raiders had won.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:42Speaker 4: And that the Bagwagoners coming out. Yeah. No, bro, there
- 49:44Speaker 4: ain't Bagwagoners. Half of them fools have been locked up,
- 49:47Speaker 4: so the jerseys look new still. You know what I mean, bro?
- 49:51Speaker 4: And the rest of them are probably not embarrassed to
- 49:53Speaker 4: wear the jerseys.
- 49:55Speaker 5: You know?
- 49:56Speaker 4: So, you know, sorry, bro. Don't get too excited. But
- 49:59Speaker 4: I could just see Raider fans right now. I mean,
- 50:01Speaker 4: they think they won the Super Bowl.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Raiders are winning.
- 50:04Speaker 4: Dodgers won. Oh, my God. I mean, Arnold might not
- 50:08Speaker 4: have a job until they lose.
- 50:13Speaker 8: You might not be getting that overtime until they start losing.
- 50:15Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 50:17Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 50:17Speaker 12: Yeah, bro.
- 50:18Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 50:19Speaker 4: And then on Seahawk Who, oh, man, Rome, keep the
- 50:22Speaker 4: Disney on Ice tickets. I would never take these fooling
- 50:24Speaker 4: clowns with me. Anywhere.
- 50:27Speaker 6: You might catch me giving them a bump on the
- 50:29Speaker 6: walk by that festival, but I'm still running.
- 50:31Speaker 1: That's hilarious.
- 50:33Speaker 4: Oh, Ruben. But if Seahawk Who wants me to take
- 50:36Speaker 4: my godson, you know, I'll take him.
- 50:39Speaker 2: All right.
- 50:41Speaker 4: So you know we're baptizing his baby, Rome.
- 50:43Speaker 1: What's that?
- 50:44Speaker 4: We're going to be baptizing that newborn baby of his.
- 50:46Speaker 11: All right.
- 50:48Speaker 3: All right.
- 50:48Speaker 4: Later. I think he's trying to sucker me in for
- 50:51Speaker 4: free rides, Rome.
- 50:51Speaker 12: Maybe. Maybe.
- 50:53Speaker 6: Later.
- 50:54Speaker 1: All right, brother.
- 50:57Speaker 4: I know.
- 50:57Speaker 2: You know who's getting hit the hardest right now because
- 51:01Speaker 2: of the Raiders winning and the Dodgers winning, how the
- 51:06Speaker 2: Dodgers are doing?
- 51:07Speaker 1: You know who's getting hit the hardest, right? is those
- 51:10Speaker 1: baby mamas.
- 51:11Speaker 2: They're not getting that child support because those Raider fans
- 51:13Speaker 2: are out spending that EBT and spending all that child
- 51:16Speaker 2: support money to celebrate. So I feel bad for the kids, man.
- 51:21Speaker 2: If these Raiders don't start losing, these Dodgers don't start.
- 51:24Speaker 6: Losing, man.
- 51:24Speaker 2: These kids ain't going to have new shoes. They ain't
- 51:27Speaker 2: going to have no clothes. They ain't going to have
- 51:28Speaker 2: no electricity pretty soon. It's that child support that's getting hit.
- 51:33Speaker 2: These fools ain't paying that child support.
- 51:36Speaker 13: Hey, Romeo, what's going on, man?
- 51:38Speaker 1: What up, brother?
- 51:39Speaker 4: You know what's an embarrassment?
- 51:41Speaker 1: What's that?
- 51:42Speaker 13: Them Dallas Cowboys. I can't even lie, man.
- 51:48Speaker 5: That was all I was like.
- 51:50Speaker 13: You're doing everything you can to throw off the game
- 51:52Speaker 13: and mess it up, and that's what they did.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they are not good.
- 51:58Speaker 13: Unfortunately, yeah, I'm coming through to my senses, and I'm
- 52:02Speaker 13: starting to see it as true that if anything can't
- 52:04Speaker 13: go wrong, it will.
- 52:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 52:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:07Speaker 13: And it's true, man. You sit there and watch it
- 52:09Speaker 13: week after week, and, you know, at the end of
- 52:11Speaker 13: the game, you feel like you got a clown outfit on.
- 52:16Speaker 4: I'm going to keep it real with you, man.
- 52:19Speaker 1: It's getting rough. I don't think.
- 52:23Speaker 12: You ever really get used to it.
- 52:25Speaker 13: You know, you always have a little pride. But, you know,
- 52:28Speaker 13: I guess that's what it is.
- 52:31Speaker 12: That's fair.
- 52:32Speaker 13: So who we got tonight?
- 52:35Speaker 1: The Eagles and the Bears play tonight.
- 52:40Speaker 13: No Caleb Williams?
- 52:41Speaker 2: No, it's going to be an embarrassment for the Bears.
- 52:44Speaker 1: The Bears, they got Case Keenum playing. They're going to
- 52:46Speaker 1: be an embarrassment.
- 52:48Speaker 13: Who's that, the old DJ?
- 52:49Speaker 1: No, Casey Kasem.
- 52:55Speaker 2: I didn't even know Case Keenum was old enough to
- 52:57Speaker 2: still be in the league.
- 52:58Speaker 1: I thought he aged out of the league, but I
- 53:00Speaker 1: guess not.
- 53:01Speaker 13: You know, he's right there with Art LeBeau, you know
- 53:03Speaker 13: what I mean?
- 53:04Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 53:06Speaker 7: We go hand in hand.
- 53:07Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 53:08Speaker 13: I think we'll pop up and check you out tonight, man.
- 53:12Speaker 11: All right, brother.
- 53:12Speaker 1: We'll be there hanging out.
- 53:14Speaker 13: Later, man.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Monday Night Football will be adjusting at the Marketplace. It's
- 53:19Speaker 2: going to be a terrible football game. Let's be honest
- 53:21Speaker 2: about it.
- 53:22Speaker 7: The.
- 53:23Speaker 1: I don't think the Bears have a chance to win
- 53:27Speaker 1: this game. But, hey, we got some good drinks. We
- 53:30Speaker 1: got some good food. We'll have a good time. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Where are we at here? I got a lot of
- 53:38Speaker 2: text messages to get to. Hey, good morning, Rome.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Gilrod here right now.
- 53:43Speaker 2: It looks like the three most dominant teams in the NFL,
- 53:46Speaker 2: the Niners, the Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills. There might be
- 53:49Speaker 2: some other undefeated teams out there, but when you get
- 53:54Speaker 2: deeper into the season, the playoffs, I think those are
- 53:57Speaker 2: the three teams that really are going to matter.
- 54:00Speaker 1: We'll see. You might be right.
- 54:02Speaker 2: It's tough to say with three teams, you know, with
- 54:05Speaker 2: three games under your belt. It's really hard to figure
- 54:10Speaker 2: out what's going to be what. Hey, Rome, what about
- 54:13Speaker 2: the Broncos? You can't count them out. They always come
- 54:15Speaker 2: in clutch when needed. The Rams didn't have a chance
- 54:19Speaker 2: second half, and now the 49ers are next for those
- 54:22Speaker 2: horse kick. Well, the Broncos won, but if you're going
- 54:27Speaker 2: to be fair, if you're really going to be fair
- 54:29Speaker 2: about it, the refs, made a horrific call that would
- 54:33Speaker 2: have ended it for the Broncos. The Broncos theoretically should
- 54:36Speaker 2: have lost that game, but, you know, human interaction or human,
- 54:41Speaker 2: when you got the human element in there, anything's possible.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Although they try to tell you that, you know, they
- 54:46Speaker 2: got all this technology, but that wasn't interception. Now, whether
- 54:48Speaker 2: his knee was not, I don't know, but that wasn't
- 54:52Speaker 2: a pass interference and it wasn't interception probably should have
- 54:55Speaker 2: ended the game. So you might want to really reevaluate
- 54:58Speaker 2: your conversation. and be more realistic about what game was
- 55:02Speaker 2: played last night. Hey, Rome, a quick question. Mine and
- 55:06Speaker 2: my girlfriend's anniversary is coming up. Where's it going to
- 55:10Speaker 2: take her to? Social House, or not Social House, Social
- 55:17Speaker 2: House isn't, they are, the kitchen's closed right now. Sonder,
- 55:23Speaker 2: the Sonder over on Hageman's a nice spot. It's a
- 55:25Speaker 2: nice casual, I mean, I don't know what kind of
- 55:28Speaker 2: restaurant you're looking for. uh, fancy or just kind of
- 55:32Speaker 2: a casual great food.
- 55:33Speaker 1: What do you want? You know, if you want just
- 55:35Speaker 1: some great food and a casual atmosphere, social house over
- 55:39Speaker 1: on Hickman's a great place to go. Um, obviously you
- 55:44Speaker 1: can go to horse in.
- 55:44Speaker 2: The alley downtown. That's always a great place. Uh, trying
- 55:49Speaker 2: to think of some of the night.
- 55:51Speaker 1: What do you want?
- 55:52Speaker 2: Food or you want food, great food, or do you
- 55:54Speaker 2: want great atmosphere? You know, or do you want a
- 55:57Speaker 2: little bit of both? That's the question before I can
- 56:00Speaker 2: answer it. So Ritmo's always a great steakhouse.
- 56:03Speaker 1: Ritmo's good. You know, it just depends on what you're
- 56:07Speaker 1: looking for.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Are you looking for something to put on social media
- 56:10Speaker 2: and show how balling you are? Or are you looking
- 56:12Speaker 2: for just a good food and a nice place to
- 56:14Speaker 2: have dinner? Let's see here.
- 56:17Speaker 1: What do you got here? Yo, Rome, what's up?
- 56:20Speaker 2: With all the soft Raider fans. What's up with all
- 56:25Speaker 2: these soft Raider fans on your show?
- 56:27Speaker 1: Well, I mean, what do you expect? They're Raider fans.
- 56:31Speaker 7: Wrong.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Poor Raider fans.
- 56:33Speaker 2: They go 3-0 and they act like they did something
- 56:36Speaker 2: as a Niner fan going 3-0.
- 56:37Speaker 1: Is like whatever.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Usually we like to blow it in the playoffs.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Well, that's what I mean.
- 56:43Speaker 2: That's what makes the Raider fans so embarrassing is they've
- 56:47Speaker 2: accomplished nothing But they're running around acting like they've done something.
- 56:55Speaker 2: They beat three of the worst teams in the NFL
- 56:58Speaker 2: and accomplished nothing. So they're running around like they've accomplished something.
- 57:02Speaker 2: But that's what losers do. Losers have to grab any
- 57:07Speaker 2: bit of accomplishment they can.
- 57:12Speaker 1: For happiness. And since most Raider fans are losers... Their
- 57:16Speaker 1: lives suck.
- 57:17Speaker 2: They have to live vicariously through somebody else's life, you know,
- 57:20Speaker 2: somebody else's life to make them feel better.
- 57:22Speaker 1: And that's, you got to give it to them right now.
- 57:24Speaker 1: They're 3-0. They're right. Child support's not getting paid, but
- 57:29Speaker 1: Raider fans, please.
- 57:32Speaker 12: Hey, what up, bro?
- 57:32Speaker 7: Good morning.
- 57:33Speaker 1: What up, man?
- 57:34Speaker 7: Hey, so, you know, there's a lot of Raider fans
- 57:38Speaker 7: that I work with, and they're just all warning.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Raiders!
- 57:44Speaker 7: Whoa, bro. And I try to tell them, like, you know,
- 57:49Speaker 7: I will take your team seriously. If you guys beat
- 57:52Speaker 7: the Chiefs, then I will say, okay, you guys are
- 57:54Speaker 7: a playoff team. You know what I mean?
- 57:56Speaker 4: Although the Saints were good.
- 57:58Speaker 7: But if they beat the Chiefs next week, then I'm
- 58:01Speaker 7: going to believe, okay, they're a playoff team.
- 58:03Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 58:05Speaker 7: And that defense does look good. Like, what do you think?
- 58:08Speaker 1: What do I think?
- 58:10Speaker 7: Yeah, I know you hate the Raiders.
- 58:11Speaker 1: No, honestly.
- 58:14Speaker 7: Like your ESPN reporters, your Dave Bayless.
- 58:17Speaker 4: You know, I want to know what Romeo really thinks.
- 58:20Speaker 2: I think that it's going to be– I think they're
- 58:25Speaker 2: probably going to win at home next week, and then
- 58:28Speaker 2: they'll lose when they play the Chiefs at home because
- 58:31Speaker 2: they always split.
- 58:32Speaker 1: I think most of the– I think they split. I
- 58:35Speaker 1: think their record's almost.
- 58:36Speaker 2: Even, actually, when they play if you go back a
- 58:39Speaker 2: few years. So I think it's just, it's a division
- 58:42Speaker 2: game and things happen. You know, you can't sit there.
- 58:45Speaker 2: The Chiefs are not excessively dominant right now. I mean,
- 58:49Speaker 2: even though they're 3-0, they haven't played really anybody either.
- 58:54Speaker 2: So they can't sit there and act like they've done
- 58:57Speaker 2: it all. I mean, maybe the Broncos, they played the Broncos, right?
- 59:00Speaker 2: They beat the Broncos. But the Broncos looked good last night.
- 59:05Speaker 1: But I mean, I don't know.
- 59:06Speaker 2: You just i think it's gonna come down to the
- 59:09Speaker 2: chiefs probably winning the division the raiders getting second or
- 59:13Speaker 2: starting to lose and then um that's all it's gonna
- 59:17Speaker 2: be kirk cousins is not a super bowl winning quarterback
- 59:20Speaker 2: he hasn't done anything so i think that's what's gonna.
- 59:23Speaker 7: Happen I think that when he's healthy, he's a lot better.
- 59:27Speaker 7: You know what I mean?
- 59:33Speaker 2: Statistically, in 14 years, he's accomplished nothing.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Right. So what in your mind gives you the idea
- 59:42Speaker 1: that he's going to accomplish something today because he's won
- 59:45Speaker 1: three games against three bad teams?
- 59:48Speaker 7: Well, when they played the Saints when he was a
- 59:50Speaker 7: Viking and that pass to Diggs, You know what I mean? Okay,
- 59:56Speaker 7: I think that was the second round of playoffs, but
- 59:58Speaker 7: then he got hurt the next game.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 1:00:01Speaker 7: So he hasn't really had a fair shot.
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: In 14 years, you don't think he's had a fair shot?
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: Well, no.
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: I mean, as far as team goes, yeah. Because the
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: Vikings weren't good, so I want to say after Dalvin
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: Cook left, that's when I feel like, okay, you remember
- 1:00:18Speaker 7: Dalvin Cook, right?
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: Sure.
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: Yeah, after he left, I think he just went downhill.
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: Well, we'll see what happens.
- 1:00:27Speaker 7: And then the restaurant-wise, go to Shogun. It's pricey, expensive,
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: but they cook it for you. It's pretty cool.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, Shogun's.
- 1:00:35Speaker 13: You're right.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: Shogun's a good spot. Yeah. It just depends on what
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: he's looking for.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: Is he looking for someone with, like, a romantic vibe,
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: or is he looking for someone with, like, an expensive vibe,
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: or is he looking for someone that's just good food
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: and a nice atmosphere?
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: I don't know what he's looking for.
- 1:00:50Speaker 13: But, yeah, I get you.
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: Bro, we live in Bakersfield.
- 1:00:52Speaker 7: Ain't nothing romantic about that.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: All right, man. Get out of here.
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: There's some nice places to have dinner that are more
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: romantic than good.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7. What'd you send me here? Hey, Rome. It's Ruben.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: I just want to give a shout out to myself.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: It's my birthday today. I'm going to the fair.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Oh, poor Ruben.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: I'm sure he's ironing his sash right now. Oh, it's
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: my birthday sash? and getting that birthday cup out from
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: the cup board to put passion fruit mimosas in.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Poor Ruben, you guys. It's hilarious.
- 1:01:34Speaker 13: Oh, my boy.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I can play. Happy towing. Hey, it's
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: the owner of Happy Recovery. It's not towing. It's Happy Recovery.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: I guess there's a golf tournament for the Sheriff's League.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Is that what that is? Let me see what he's
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: talking about. He sent me this earlier, and I didn't know.
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: for the event. Sal, what is that? What does that mean?
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: 19th annual. Oh, Sal is.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: The Kern County Sheriff's Association Activities League.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: When is it? The 21st of November? Yeah, I could
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: probably play in it. I think I might be free. Yeah,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I could probably play in that. I'll hit you up.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: I'll hit you up. November 21st. Yeah, I could probably
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: play in it. What's going on?
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: Hey, Rome, how about them Raiders, though?
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: They're 3-0, yeah.
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: 3-0, Doug.
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: 3-0.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Everybody should be celebrating. 3-0, going to the Super Bowl.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: Exactly. All of Bakersfield is lit right now. You know it.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: You know it.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: All them child support checks are getting spent on new
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: jerseys and liquor.
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: Absolutely, bro, absolutely.
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: I'm on my way there now.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: Hey, hey, I'll have this conversation with you after next Sunday.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Okay, all right.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: All right, all right.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: Those poor babies, man. Damn. Oh, those poor babies. Got
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: no diapers, got no formula. Damn. Those child support checks, man.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Where they want to take their girlfriend their wife can't
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: remember what it was now for anniversary um yeah casey's
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: nice bite a nice spot um let's see uh oh
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: yeah she's the one where's a good restaurant i want
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: to take his girlfriend i'd like to take her somewhere
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: a little on the fancier side with great food uh
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: okay then um uh he texted back i would say
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: like a horse in the alley is that still open
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: That's a nice spot. Nice little cozy restaurant with good food.
- 1:03:46Speaker 2: That's a good question because we don't have a lot
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: of fancier spots. Like I said, Saunders is just a
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: nice casual. It's actually a great spot. It actually is nice.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: Ritmo is just good. Gosh, I'm trying to think. Um, man,
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: that's a good question, man. I just, I, I like
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: good food. I mean, show guns is good. Um, the
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: guy said, but I wouldn't call it necessarily fancier. Um,
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: I just can't think, man, I'm trying to think of
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: all the spots in town. You can go down, you know,
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: what you would call it's a nice little spot. That's
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: a little fancier. What's the place downtown? Uh, The Mexican
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: joint is downtown. I can't think of the name of
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: it right now. That might be a nice little spot.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: You know who has good food and has a nice
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: little spot is the restaurant at the Padre. I haven't
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: been there in a while, but the restaurant, not the bar. Oh,
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: what about the new spot over there on that Mexican
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: place right there on Allen and Stockdale?
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: That's a nice place. That really is. I don't know.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: I mean, I hear the food's great and I hear
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: that the, um, but I've been in it and I
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: haven't eaten there. Haven't tried the drinks, but I hear
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: the food and the drinks are great and it's a
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: nice little spot. Um, so yeah, that's always a nice place. Um,
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: maybe fire flaming fire.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: It's a great spot.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Um, but you're talking, yeah, I would think some of
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: those spots, um, I always think good food first, so
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: that's why I'm trying to figure out where to send you.
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: But okay.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: And also, what are you looking for? That's another thing.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: What kind of food? Somebody asked me the other day.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: We were having a conversation about Italian spots, where I
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: go to get Italian food. Bakersfield's kind of rough for
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: Italian food. That little Italy is a good spot.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I'm trying to think, man. What's out there? Yeah. All right.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: 8-4-2, 5-4, 7-7.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: That's a good one. You kind of got me stumped
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: on that one. Hey, Rome, head about Raider.
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: Tell your Niner fans their opinion don't matter.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Oh, tell Niner fans their opinion don't matter. Hey, Kirk
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Cousins taking the Raiders to the Super Bowl. Yeah, he is. Yeah,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: he is. Because he's done it with the other three
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: teams he's with. Rome, the Saints are the first.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Good team the Raiders have played, but they need to
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: continue the run.
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: To me.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: You think the Saints are the first good team? They're
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: better than the two teams the Raiders have played. I
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: wouldn't call them a good team. They're not going to
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: be a contender.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, bolt up. We still suck. Yeah, they do suck. Damn, Rome,
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: that's crazy how these fools are texting you trying to
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: be me.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Like I said, Rome, haters going to hate. Suck a
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: tight fools. Well, okay, Roman.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Well, there you go. Party 4254, 7 to 7. Hey, Rome,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: flame and fire Brazilian steakhouse.
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: The food's good, but I wouldn't necessarily consider it a
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: fancier atmosphere, though.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: I don't know what he's looking for. Oh, yeah, Flamin' Fire. Yeah,
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: the food's good. I wouldn't argue. Oh, Zama's. That's what
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I was thinking of.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Zama's is a bit fancy and has a nice atmosphere.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that's the one I was thinking about. If you're
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: looking for something a little fancier with good food, good drinks,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: Zama's downtown. Yeah, I think that's a good one. Yo, Rome...
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I'm not even going to take you seriously with that. Oh, Valley, Vaya.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Vaya Flavors of Mexico is the new restaurant on Stockdale
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: and Allen. You're talking about it. Yes, I understand. Now,
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: I have not been there, except I've been in there
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: to look at it. I have not eaten there, but
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: from what I understand from my friends, it's very good food.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: And Vaya, is that how you say it? Vaya over
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: on Stockdale. Yeah, and a real nice atmosphere, real nice atmosphere.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: Food and drinks look good, though, from what I understand. Yo, Rome,
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: Italian food. We have a lot of Italian restaurants.
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: Yeah, no.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: I'm not even going to talk about that.
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: Only because if I told you my story about that.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: Yeah, no.
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: You guys.
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: You know what I've learned about Bakersfield? And I am
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: not going to... I would never say anything.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Bad about anything. Anybody's spot.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: but some of the stuff that you guys consider some
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: of the best food in town, um, I have to
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: question what you like or what, you know, did you
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: just grow up with that or whatever? Because some of
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: the stuff you guys talk about is not good. Or
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: there are better places is what I should say. I
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: can't argue with what you like, but there are better places.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I'm at Thea. Like that.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: She will eat at the best place in the world.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: She cooks very well. But she will also eat at
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: some of the worst places in the world and say
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: they're good. I don't think she's ever been to a
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: bad restaurant.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Hey, Rome. What is this?
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: Nice seeing you. Sorry it was so hectic. I don't
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: know what that's all.
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: About, but okay.
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: Rome, take Siak-Loo. Oh, take her to Seahawk Lou's house.
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: He always cooks a great steak.
- 1:09:50Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: You go to Seahawk Lou's, um, converted carport garage, whatever
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: he's got going on over there. Uh, me, Mexico, formerly
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: in the West throw Mexico. Where's that at? I haven't
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: heard of that one. Big boy, big boy knows good food.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: If you want to go, if you ever take advice
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: for anybody of a restaurant to go eat, big boy is, uh,
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: Big boy should have his own social media site with
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: food because big boy is probably one of the few
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: people in town that never misses.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: He knows where to go. Uh, Raider Rob.
- 1:10:26Speaker 13: Hey Rome.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: I like El Puesto. Oh, the one off of white lane.
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: Yeah. That El Puesto off white lane is legit. At
- 1:10:33Speaker 2: least last time I went, I've only.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: Been there once.
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: I go there once or twice. I may have been
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: there twice, but, um, the one time I do remember
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: going there, it was a pretty legit spot, so, yeah,
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: that's a good spot, too, uh, yo, Rome, thank you,
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: I appreciate your help, well, I hope you find a
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: good spot, I hope she doesn't get upset, um, with you, uh,
- 1:10:53Speaker 2: taking her out, Rome, have you gone to the fair yet,
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: or are you going, um, I've not gone to the
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: fair yet, and I could honestly tell you, I don't
- 1:11:05Speaker 2: know if I'm gonna go, I don't, uh, If something
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: comes up, if I have a reason to go, if
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: my friends ask me or if something happens and somebody wants.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: To go, I'll go. I'm not like all you guys.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I was talking to some people over the weekend. We
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: don't go to the fair. No, we don't go. The
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: fair is stupid. No, it's not.
- 1:11:23Speaker 13: The fair is great.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: You go for different reasons and you have a good
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: time in whatever capacity you want to go to.
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: So I just haven't had a reason to go yet.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Will I go? I have no idea. It could, uh,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: I almost went on Saturday night. Uh, was it Saturday night?
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: I was out, but, uh, I couldn't, uh, but something
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: else came up, so I didn't go. Um, yeah, no,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: it just depends. I don't know.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: I mean, I'm, everybody I've seen or sent me photos,
- 1:11:53Speaker 2: my friends that have been out there and sent me
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: photos from.
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: Being out there. It looks great.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: It looks like everybody's having a good time, but you
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: got all these idiots out here, uh, talking mess about, oh,
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: it's too expensive.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: Oh, it's too this. Oh, it's too, it's not. I mean,
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: maybe it costs, you know, it costs to go out there,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: but you know what? It costs to do anything nowadays.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Gas is $ 6 a gallon. Come on. It costs to
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: drive out to the fair. So everybody calm down. So
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: stop being a hater. And now I'm with Ruben. You know,
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: haters going, hey, stop hating on everything. My God. You know? R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: So I don't know. I may go out there. Let's
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: see what happens. I kind of play everything by ear
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: right now, you know? Got no plans.
- 1:12:36Speaker 13: Ruben.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: You need to quit crying about this.
- 1:12:38Speaker 6: I said, no, it ain't because you don't got to
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: pay for a.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Hotel or gas, you dumbass.
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: One ticket will cost you a whole fair dime.
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: But don't cry about it. Disneyland dumbass.
- 1:12:52Speaker 6: You're not in a hotel room, and you're not waiting
- 1:12:55Speaker 6: in a one-hour line just to get on one damn
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: ride at, you know what I mean, Peter Pan or something.
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: Yeah. Anyway, suck it up. If you go, enjoy yourself.
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 1:13:05Speaker 12: But don't be acting like Raider Dave.
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: I'm going to feed my kids before we get there
- 1:13:10Speaker 6: because they don't accept EBT at the fair.
- 1:13:13Speaker 13: Get out of here.
- 1:13:14Speaker 4: Put some money on it. You know you get that
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: cash aid, too.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: Oh, gosh.
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: Jesus.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: Get out of here. Gosh, Ruben. Hey, Rome. A co-worker
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: told me to try.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: Taco Joe's? Because supposedly it's the best tacos in town.
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: They're okay, but not the best. Which taco spot do
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: you recommend?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: What is Taco Joe's?
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: Is that the one on Fruitvale? If that's the one
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: on Fruitvale, I've heard good things about it, too.
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: I don't know. Tacos are so....
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: To be honest with you, tacos are such a hard
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: thing to compare to. Because there's so many variables.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: The salsa. The sauce they put on.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: It is a variable. The meat's a variable. I mean,
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: it's just the tortilla's a variable. Like, I go to, like,
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: I go to, I think it's Vicky's on Rosedale. And
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: their tacos are good. But it's the tortilla they use.
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: They use the yellow, is it the yellow corn, I think?
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: So it's just tacos are so, you can't really say
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: there's one best taco.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: Place in town.
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: They're all, most of them, you know, unless the meat's awful,
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: there's not really one. You can't say one's the best
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: because when it comes to tacos, there's so many variables
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: to it. And a lot of them are all just,
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: that's why I always say about tacos, they're all just
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: as good.
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: Okay? There's not one that stands out above.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: And don't text me and call me and tell me, no, Rome,
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: you're wrong, because I'm not wrong. Because I can tell
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: you eight places right now that are all phenomenal.
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: They're all just as good. You know?
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: And then I can tell you a spot right now
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: where you probably never even tried, and you would be like, no.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Because the shaved ribeye tacos at Ritmo are bomb.
- 1:15:20Speaker 12: So.
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: And if you're going to sit there and tell me
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: a taco truck makes a better taco than that, then,
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: I mean, what do you really know?
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: But, no, you can't. A lot of these taco places
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: are good. I've heard Taco Joe's is good. I haven't
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: been there. But I have a buddy who eats there
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: all the time, tells me it's great.
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: And I trust him. And I trust him with, I
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: think it's the one on Fruitvale, right? And I trust
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: him because he knows good food. But, yeah, I mean,
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: tacos are hard. are a hard thing to compare because
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: there's a lot of good places that serve good tacos.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: Okay? There's not just one.
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: Romeo in the morning.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: Every morning.
- 1:16:00Speaker 11: On Hot 94.1.
