- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod with Teddy Mellencaan and Cam
- 0:06Speaker 1: Ridge Edge.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Hi, guys, so guess what. It's officially time for us
- 0:17Speaker 2: to launch the twat Seat, the twat Seats, the twat Seat.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Essentially, it is like watch what Happens live, but you're
- 0:28Speaker 3: in the twat seat.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Not quite the hot seat, not quite the hot seat.
- 0:33Speaker 2: It could be worse than the hot seat. It could
- 0:35Speaker 2: hot seat could be worse. It really depends on who
- 0:38Speaker 2: our guest.
- 0:38Speaker 3: Is, and we're starting it off with a bang because
- 0:41Speaker 3: our first guest is going to be Kyle Cook from Summerhouse.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I had no idea how much I was going to
- 0:48Speaker 3: be obsessed with this show.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Okay for somebody that never has watched Summerhouse, I've always
- 0:53Speaker 4: heard people talk about it, and I know Kyle and
- 0:55Speaker 4: I know some of the cast members just from you know,
- 0:57Speaker 4: Bravo events, Bravo con stuff like that. I watched all
- 1:01Speaker 4: of season eight in two days, and now I want
- 1:04Speaker 4: to go back and watch from season one.
- 1:07Speaker 5: So too.
- 1:07Speaker 2: That's our homework.
- 1:08Speaker 3: I'm hooked before we even get into discussing any little
- 1:11Speaker 3: bits and pieces about this season.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Who would you want to be your best friend. Oh boy,
- 1:16Speaker 2: that's a tough one. Mine's Page one hundred percent Page.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, definitely definitely Page, just so I can
- 1:23Speaker 4: share outfits with her.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Like, she got the cutest, cutest little style. She's so cute.
- 1:28Speaker 2: She looks like Audrey Hepburn.
- 1:30Speaker 3: And her confessionals are always on point, and I just
- 1:35Speaker 3: love Page.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I know Lindsay, and I like Lindsay as well. I'm
- 1:40Speaker 2: not very happy with Lindsay this season, though.
- 1:43Speaker 3: I felt like this last episode though I started to
- 1:45Speaker 3: see a shift.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Yes, definitely I saw a little bit of a shift.
- 1:49Speaker 2: But she was a little hard on Carl.
- 1:51Speaker 4: I thought, And you know, I try not to jump
- 1:54Speaker 4: to conclusions because you know, it is an edited show
- 1:57Speaker 4: and we don't see everything.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Yeah, but we all know what's coming. We all know
- 2:02Speaker 2: what's coming.
- 2:02Speaker 3: But I think this is a big situation that we
- 2:05Speaker 3: are seeing here on Summer House.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Is the conversations that.
- 2:09Speaker 3: You need to have before you initially get married. Married.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Well, I have a confession. Yeah, I dm'd Carl. Yeah,
- 2:21Speaker 4: because I felt so bad for him. It's been a
- 2:23Speaker 4: really long time, Teddy, since I watched a show. I
- 2:27Speaker 4: think it's been since the view when I yelled at
- 2:29Speaker 4: star Star Jones is her name, I can't remember, because
- 2:33Speaker 4: she was talking about how pregnant women should not have
- 2:35Speaker 4: special parking, and I gave her a piece of my mind.
- 2:39Speaker 2: But yeah, I reached out and I told him I
- 2:43Speaker 2: really really upset you.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I was pregnant at the time, and I only had
- 2:48Speaker 4: use of one lung because the baby.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I can't remember which one it was.
- 2:52Speaker 4: I think it was maybe Sidney pushing on one lung
- 2:55Speaker 4: so I could literally walk to the kitchen.
- 2:56Speaker 3: And I was like, I'm not trying to call you out, Tam,
- 3:01Speaker 3: but there's no way Instagram existed when you were pregnant
- 3:05Speaker 3: with any of your children.
- 3:06Speaker 2: So I emailed.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Start Jones.
- 3:14Speaker 4: I don't know, or maybe it was my Space. I
- 3:16Speaker 4: can't remember what it was. I can't remember, but I
- 3:20Speaker 4: was thought, I was, I was. I was pissed off.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Man, I was did you aa? Did you a? I
- 3:26Speaker 2: am her? Were you like you've got mail? And you
- 3:28Speaker 2: were like, hould on, let me get out my typewriter.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Way Jones a piece of my mind.
- 3:34Speaker 4: She never responded back, and while coming from a woman
- 3:36Speaker 4: that's never had a child, had never been pregnant, how
- 3:38Speaker 4: dare you say something like that?
- 3:40Speaker 2: Anyways, whatever.
- 3:42Speaker 4: So I was like so riled up after watching Summer House.
- 3:45Speaker 4: I'm like, he got so much ship after you know,
- 3:48Speaker 4: he called off the wedding on social media because you know,
- 3:51Speaker 4: last year, because we didn't know, we didn't know, And
- 3:55Speaker 4: I'm like, oh god, I blendy. Oh you you're lucky.
- 3:58Speaker 4: You're lucky now, Like, oh my god, I feel so
- 4:01Speaker 4: bad for him. It really it really looked like he
- 4:04Speaker 4: was trying.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Well, I think it also. I think it looked like
- 4:07Speaker 2: he was trying.
- 4:08Speaker 3: But I also think there's so much that goes into
- 4:13Speaker 3: the relationship because they were friends for so many years
- 4:17Speaker 3: that you always think, Okay, we were friends, we can
- 4:19Speaker 3: work through everything. But it also the problem with being
- 4:22Speaker 3: friends for so many years is you say things that
- 4:26Speaker 3: you probably wouldn't say to somebody that's like your new
- 4:29Speaker 3: fiance if you had just been together a year.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Right right now, I have a question for you. Yes, Summerhouse,
- 4:38Speaker 2: pump Rules or the Valley.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Which one, okay, definitely not vander pump Rules.
- 4:45Speaker 5: No.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I think what I love about the Valley is also
- 4:50Speaker 3: what I love about Summerhouse. I don't really feel like
- 4:53Speaker 3: the majority of the people on the Valley or on
- 4:56Speaker 3: Summer House are really editing themselves whatsoever. The fact that
- 5:01Speaker 3: I saw naked balloon guy was my mind was blown.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Like I was like, she didn't even bother. I know,
- 5:08Speaker 2: neither did Danielle. She just took it right off. She
- 5:10Speaker 2: took it right off.
- 5:12Speaker 4: It's kind of like Ultimate Girl's Trips Slash.
- 5:16Speaker 2: Well that's hope. It's not like Ultimate Girls trip Away
- 5:19Speaker 2: Summer House. No, no, no, no, no, not like that.
- 5:21Speaker 4: But I'm just saying, like, living in a house together
- 5:23Speaker 4: like that? And what's the one you were on Big Brother?
- 5:26Speaker 2: Like Big Brother? But nobody hooks up on Big Brother.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Well, I mean they do on the real Big Brother,
- 5:31Speaker 3: I guess, but not on celebrity Big Brother.
- 5:32Speaker 2: There was no even.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Okay, before we bring Kyle on, and then after we
- 5:37Speaker 3: have Kyle on, we're gonna just kind of anything we
- 5:39Speaker 3: don't touch on with him.
- 5:40Speaker 2: I'm just gonna break down quick question. Who's the best movie?
- 5:44Speaker 2: West or Jesse West? Clearly? I love West.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I know I love West too. I think he's funny,
- 5:52Speaker 4: he's quirky. But I think Jesse is just like just
- 5:54Speaker 4: that wholesome boy. I think that Jess should marry Lindsey.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I'm just hooking him up right now is awesome.
- 6:04Speaker 3: It isn't happening, and he's not wholesome. Every episode he
- 6:09Speaker 3: is on Hinge twenty four to seven, he wants.
- 6:14Speaker 4: He wants to settle down. He just can't find the
- 6:16Speaker 4: right one. Don't you said, Lindsay is the right one. Yes,
- 6:20Speaker 4: I think she wants to get married. Okay, Carl just
- 6:24Speaker 4: wasn't the guy for her. I know Lindsay off the show,
- 6:27Speaker 4: very sweet, nice kind, go get her.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I just Carl just wasn't the right guy. They weren't
- 6:32Speaker 2: a good together.
- 6:34Speaker 3: I think by anything that Jesse has said about Lindsay
- 6:37Speaker 3: throughout this season, Jesse ain't the right guy either. F
- 6:41Speaker 3: Mary kill Kyle, Carl and West.
- 6:46Speaker 2: I hate this game. I like them all.
- 6:50Speaker 3: I don't really want anyone dead, but I think I
- 6:52Speaker 3: would probably well up until this upcoming episode where we
- 6:56Speaker 3: see that West is apparently messaging other girls.
- 7:00Speaker 2: When they showed the scenes for the rest of the
- 7:03Speaker 2: season and I saw that, I was like, what do
- 7:05Speaker 2: you mean, West? I thought you were like madly in love.
- 7:08Speaker 2: But maybe they're.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Having sex in New York, just not having sex in
- 7:11Speaker 3: the Hamptons. No, he said, none, it's not happening.
- 7:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 7:16Speaker 3: We need ask Kyle, but is he really trying? I
- 7:18Speaker 3: feel like I would marry West. I think I would probably.
- 7:23Speaker 3: I mean, this is gonna be awkward since we're about
- 7:25Speaker 3: to bring him in, but I guess I would probably
- 7:28Speaker 3: f Kyle. Okay, even though why when he talks in
- 7:33Speaker 3: his baby voice about wanting to have sex, it's a
- 7:35Speaker 3: little bit awkward and he's like.
- 7:37Speaker 2: My being the ones at touching. You know what scares me?
- 7:44Speaker 2: Is it his drunk voice sounds just like mine?
- 7:46Speaker 3: That's actually frightening. Do you think he's going to have
- 7:48Speaker 3: his voice on today?
- 7:50Speaker 2: I don't know. Do you think he's going to have
- 7:51Speaker 2: his mullet on today? I think it's time to release
- 7:55Speaker 2: the mullet.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Well, he said, and watch What Happens live that his
- 7:58Speaker 3: grandma's dying wish was for him to cut his mullet,
- 8:03Speaker 3: so he was going to do it at the reunion.
- 8:04Speaker 2: But we don't know if the reunion has all the wishes?
- 8:07Speaker 2: That's it? Are you kidding me? I just popped open
- 8:11Speaker 2: a lover boy. Oh my gosh, how is it? You
- 8:15Speaker 2: know what I really didn't trust.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I thought all of these people in Summer House were
- 8:19Speaker 3: going to be full of it because I thought this
- 8:20Speaker 3: was going to taste like a white claw. But it
- 8:23Speaker 3: is a delicious little favor pineapple hibiscus. It's made with love,
- 8:29Speaker 3: It's got real ingredients and real people.
- 8:31Speaker 2: It's ninety calories and zero grams of sugar. It's it's yummy.
- 8:37Speaker 3: I don't know how much alcohol is in this because
- 8:40Speaker 3: my eyes can't see well enough, but I can say
- 8:43Speaker 3: that Amanda did do an amazing job. Yes, the way
- 8:48Speaker 3: this aesthetically looks, and I see why these are scattered
- 8:51Speaker 3: all around the house all the time. I heard the
- 8:53Speaker 3: espresso martini one is really good. They didn't send me
- 8:56Speaker 3: that one.
- 8:58Speaker 2: Wow.
- 8:59Speaker 4: Well, I'm in Big Bear and could not get them here,
- 9:02Speaker 4: so I was going to have to ask them where
- 9:04Speaker 4: they saw.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, Kyle did Trader season one. Yes see, I didn't.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Watch season one because you weren't on it, so I
- 9:15Speaker 3: don't know what to ask him about that.
- 9:17Speaker 2: How far did he make it?
- 9:18Speaker 6: Well, let's ask him.
- 9:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm here, I've arrived.
- 9:33Speaker 2: We should have got mullets today to where.
- 9:35Speaker 7: I know, and you guys are catching me towards the
- 9:39Speaker 7: very tail end of this current mullet.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Now, how long have you had the mullet?
- 9:47Speaker 7: So it started to sound incredibly lame from a New
- 9:50Speaker 7: Year's resolution standpoint, but it was my January first, twenty
- 9:55Speaker 7: twenty two New Year's resolution to just become my alter
- 9:59Speaker 7: ego because I've always will or like wigs long before
- 10:02Speaker 7: Summer House. So yeah, I mean it takes a while
- 10:06Speaker 7: to grow out. So I would say, right around two years, it's.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, it's been a hot minute. Well time to go, right?
- 10:13Speaker 2: Is your alter ego only there when you're drunk?
- 10:16Speaker 5: Ah?
- 10:17Speaker 7: Yeah, his name is Nitro and very much a party,
- 10:24Speaker 7: usually around like July fourth. But then it became a
- 10:28Speaker 7: little more mainstream.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Well, yesterday I had my lover Boy delivered here, and
- 10:34Speaker 3: you'll be happy to know that the guy.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Who delivered it right here, he had a mullet.
- 10:39Speaker 3: And not only did he have a mullet, then he
- 10:42Speaker 3: gave me my astrological reading. And I was like, do
- 10:45Speaker 3: you work for lover Boy or are you just a
- 10:47Speaker 3: random postman? Because I didn't know how I got it.
- 10:49Speaker 3: I just arrived to my house and he was like, no,
- 10:52Speaker 3: I don't, but I love it, and I have to
- 10:54Speaker 3: say so do I I thought for a second that
- 10:58Speaker 3: everybody in summer house. I was like, gosh, they might
- 11:00Speaker 3: really like Kyle that they just drink this all the time.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Because if this shit tastes like white claw, I'm gonna
- 11:05Speaker 3: be pissed.
- 11:05Speaker 7: Yeah, it is delicious, Oh thank you? And yet what
- 11:09Speaker 7: is that the pineapple hibiscus?
- 11:10Speaker 3: Yeah, this is my first one. I mean I may
- 11:12Speaker 3: open it. What should I open as my second? Because
- 11:14Speaker 3: I didn't get an espresso martini one.
- 11:17Speaker 7: Well, all kind of depends those crank it up a notch,
- 11:19Speaker 7: and I think that's the only one. I'd suggest pouring
- 11:23Speaker 7: on ice or in a shaker, because indulgent it's it's
- 11:27Speaker 7: still low sugar, but that's the more indulgent one. There's
- 11:30Speaker 7: a I mean it kind of depends. I always tell
- 11:32Speaker 7: people trust your gut, Like if there's a flavor that
- 11:34Speaker 7: you see that catches your eye, like I really love
- 11:37Speaker 7: our our half and half, and if you like tea
- 11:42Speaker 7: or lemonade, and then we have a black cherry vanilla,
- 11:44Speaker 7: which tastes way better than like a black cherry white claw.
- 11:47Speaker 7: Amanda wanted to do essentially like a zero sugar take on,
- 11:51Speaker 7: like a a hard doctor Pepper or like a hard sir.
- 11:54Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 11:55Speaker 7: So there's a little more flavor than than what you'd
- 11:57Speaker 7: get from those, you know, kind of like mainstream parts seltzers.
- 12:00Speaker 2: But well, congratulations on that. Yeah, your first guest in
- 12:04Speaker 2: the twat seat. We've had twats forever, but now we're
- 12:08Speaker 2: doing the twats.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Now I'm in Big Bear and out up in the
- 12:13Speaker 4: mountains in California.
- 12:14Speaker 2: I couldn't have them delivered here.
- 12:17Speaker 4: They were supposed to be here at seven, then they
- 12:19Speaker 4: said eight, then nine, then ten and eleven, and then
- 12:21Speaker 4: I'm like, this old lady's going to bed, so you
- 12:24Speaker 4: had to sign for it. So I didn't get mine,
- 12:26Speaker 4: But I'm really interested in the expresso.
- 12:29Speaker 7: Yes, those, So that was one of the hardest ones
- 12:32Speaker 7: to pull off because they do a proper especially Mateina.
- 12:34Speaker 7: It can is really challenging. And then people, I mean,
- 12:38Speaker 7: you go to a bar, they're served such a variety
- 12:41Speaker 7: of ways. Sometimes it looks like a milkshake, sometimes it's
- 12:44Speaker 7: pitch black like a like a coffee, and everything in between.
- 12:47Speaker 7: And also, like sweetness is very subjective, right, Like something
- 12:53Speaker 7: that I love might be way too sweet for you,
- 12:55Speaker 7: and vice versa. So like that's why I'm saying I
- 12:59Speaker 7: think for that one I I prefer actually shaking it
- 13:01Speaker 7: up to dilute it a little bit some of the sweetness, Yeah,
- 13:06Speaker 7: a little sweetness. It's also twelve percent.
- 13:08Speaker 2: So whoa how much is the one I have right now?
- 13:11Speaker 7: That's a nice light four point two. Okay, So I'll
- 13:14Speaker 7: be up to non out, which I'm actually gonna open
- 13:17Speaker 7: right now. I've got a long day.
- 13:18Speaker 2: And Carl the non olk now, yeah.
- 13:22Speaker 7: He he, you know, we were like, I basically had
- 13:26Speaker 7: to say to myself, if we're going to commit the
- 13:28Speaker 7: you know, the the pre production capital to you know,
- 13:33Speaker 7: formulate it and do a small run, I got to
- 13:35Speaker 7: launch this with or without him. And fortunately, you know,
- 13:39Speaker 7: he jumped on board in a part time capacity and
- 13:41Speaker 7: I wasn't like, hey, rush back to work with me
- 13:44Speaker 7: full time. He has other interest passions and we learned
- 13:48Speaker 7: a thing or two about our working relationship previously. But yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 7: he's he's excited about that we have. I was actually
- 13:57Speaker 7: looking tam Ra at your site we because I was
- 14:01Speaker 7: trying to get kind of caught up with all your
- 14:03Speaker 7: endeavors and we are doing a THC one too.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Ours is killing it.
- 14:07Speaker 4: So we have the you know, it's a non alcoholic,
- 14:11Speaker 4: but it's got thhc in it, and we launched a
- 14:13Speaker 4: couple of years ago three Flavors, and then we just
- 14:16Speaker 4: recently launched three more.
- 14:19Speaker 3: I'll do a taste test once yours comes out my
- 14:22Speaker 3: formal review. Speaking of jobs, though, I'm a little bit
- 14:27Speaker 3: confused about something that keeps happening on Summerhouse this season
- 14:30Speaker 3: when there's all these discussions between like Carl or Amanda
- 14:35Speaker 3: or Lindsey and everybody acting like they don't have jobs
- 14:40Speaker 3: or that they're an influencer.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Don't y'all get paid to be on Summer House.
- 14:45Speaker 7: Right, I think that it's not really much of a topic.
- 14:50Speaker 7: I feel like on other shows on Bravo, because everyone's
- 14:53Speaker 7: kind of like in a similar place, right right. I
- 14:58Speaker 7: think the reason why they're has always been this career
- 15:02Speaker 7: undertone is because of how the show started it. You know,
- 15:05Speaker 7: it was a group of my friends, all of us
- 15:08Speaker 7: like worked our butts off in New York City. It
- 15:10Speaker 7: was very much a work hard, play hard show. Everybody
- 15:14Speaker 7: had a job, like we filmed in our spare time, right,
- 15:17Speaker 7: And to some extent, that's what I still do, right,
- 15:21Speaker 7: Like I spend sixty plus hours a week running lover Boy.
- 15:24Speaker 7: I'm not like the face of the brand, like I'm
- 15:26Speaker 7: literally running the company as the CEO. And so you
- 15:31Speaker 7: have that on one extreme, and then someone who makes
- 15:34Speaker 7: a living off the show and doing like paid partnerships
- 15:37Speaker 7: on the other. And then I'm not saying one's better
- 15:40Speaker 7: than the other, but I think it's a little hypocritical,
- 15:44Speaker 7: right if you're both collecting a paycheck from the show,
- 15:47Speaker 7: you both have a brand collapse. But all of a sudden,
- 15:50Speaker 7: you know, you're you're kind of shitting all over someone's
- 15:53Speaker 7: lack of a formal career.
- 15:55Speaker 4: Yeah, right, well somebody that's been you know, on Healthwives
- 15:58Speaker 4: for sixteen years.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Right, you know, salary is pretty high, so not gonna lie,
- 16:04Speaker 2: but it.
- 16:05Speaker 4: Also, you know, a lot comes along with that, appearances, endorsements,
- 16:10Speaker 4: social post It is a career, I mean, I would
- 16:12Speaker 4: say career.
- 16:13Speaker 2: It's a job right now. It could end at any
- 16:15Speaker 2: minutes exactly.
- 16:16Speaker 7: And I think part of maybe some of the frustration
- 16:19Speaker 7: from Carl's side, like we always looked at what we
- 16:21Speaker 7: were building with Lover Boys, like listen, like we don't
- 16:22Speaker 7: know how long the show is going to go. I
- 16:24Speaker 7: don't want to get stuck doing you know, paid partnerships
- 16:27Speaker 7: with brands that care about, like we wanted to build
- 16:31Speaker 7: something from scratch like Blood, Sweat and Tears that we
- 16:35Speaker 7: can be proud of. And and to your point, like, yeah,
- 16:39Speaker 7: the long year on, the more money you can make.
- 16:41Speaker 7: And it's not just the show, it's all the paid
- 16:43Speaker 7: partnerships that Carl's actually having to talk about because people
- 16:46Speaker 7: are like, well, you make money from the show, right,
- 16:48Speaker 7: Like how do you guys pay your bills?
- 16:50Speaker 3: But I also think when you're with your partner, like
- 16:53Speaker 3: if even I think just me and Tarmra as friends
- 16:56Speaker 3: and you know business, we work together for the podcast.
- 16:59Speaker 3: We started one uping each other on who makes more
- 17:02Speaker 3: on paid posts. Our friendship isn't going to last.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Yeah, Like it's not necessarily.
- 17:07Speaker 7: Honest, Like the Bravo network is going to be much
- 17:10Speaker 7: more profitable for someone like in your Shoes that you
- 17:15Speaker 7: can kind of collab with brands that appeal to the
- 17:18Speaker 7: Bravo audience, you know what I mean?
- 17:21Speaker 4: I have a question, did you give are you giving
- 17:24Speaker 4: Bravo a piece of your business? Because I've never seen
- 17:26Speaker 4: a product, a talent product so promoted on a Bravo show.
- 17:33Speaker 7: So I mean technically speaking, I have like the standard
- 17:37Speaker 7: you know, season one agreement.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Anything you do, you have to give a percentage.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:41Speaker 7: I think the reason why it's worked well for Lover
- 17:45Speaker 7: Boys if you go back to that, like work hard,
- 17:47Speaker 7: play hard roots. Right back in the early days, we
- 17:50Speaker 7: had people in finance, we had people in marketing. We
- 17:52Speaker 7: people that actually couldn't even legally speak the name of
- 17:56Speaker 7: their company on air, right, so they latched on to
- 17:59Speaker 7: be people like me, entrepreneurs that have been doing my
- 18:03Speaker 7: own things since age twenty. I'm not forty one, and
- 18:08Speaker 7: it's just like, we don't want to come off as
- 18:10Speaker 7: this silver Spoon trust fund, you know, cast that parties
- 18:14Speaker 7: their asses off in the Hamptons, because it's really disorienting
- 18:17Speaker 7: if like, if you think that's what we normally do
- 18:20Speaker 7: fifty two weeks of the year.
- 18:22Speaker 2: But on Wednesdays you do stay out till to at
- 18:24Speaker 2: four am.
- 18:25Speaker 7: Sometimes I do have, you know, the occasional yeah, but.
- 18:30Speaker 2: How many months do you actually film?
- 18:33Speaker 7: So the first four seasons pretty pandemic. We were eleven
- 18:39Speaker 7: straight weeks and it was kind of great about our
- 18:42Speaker 7: show Good or for Bad. You have this very finite
- 18:44Speaker 7: period of time when the house is rented. You can't
- 18:47Speaker 7: do a pick up. You can't do anything like that.
- 18:49Speaker 7: It's everything the camera's film twenty four to seven. They
- 18:52Speaker 7: catch what they catch, which I think also lends us
- 18:55Speaker 7: health to being as about as authentic as it gets. Right.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Okay, so the camera crew never so on Girls Trip,
- 19:01Speaker 3: the camera crew will leave this.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Your cameras are up no matter what. Well, there's cameras
- 19:06Speaker 2: on the walls. We had a Girl's Trip when I
- 19:08Speaker 2: was on it, so they would catch you.
- 19:10Speaker 7: Yeah. So there's always like a night producer that has
- 19:13Speaker 7: the joysticks down in the basement and get, you know,
- 19:16Speaker 7: zoom in to see who you're texting.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Do you do you think you run the summerhouse or
- 19:22Speaker 2: who do you thinks?
- 19:23Speaker 7: Like hb yeah, if you looked at like a lot
- 19:27Speaker 7: of the like people think I have a say in
- 19:29Speaker 7: casting people.
- 19:30Speaker 3: I love why the way you can't even answer this
- 19:33Speaker 3: without kind of smiling. I know, I know you're tell
- 19:35Speaker 3: now because you're like, well, so look.
- 19:38Speaker 7: There is a sense of pride. I helped cast the
- 19:40Speaker 7: original season, and I helped the original producers understand the
- 19:45Speaker 7: Hamptons because the two guys that actually pitched the show
- 19:49Speaker 7: to a bigger brush company in the network, they were
- 19:51Speaker 7: from La you know, they're probably thinking like Diddy White parties,
- 19:54Speaker 7: and it's like, no, no, no, Yeah, the Hantons is huge, Right,
- 19:58Speaker 7: you have all sorts of a opportunities, but that's it.
- 20:03Speaker 7: I mean, I have zero say, and it's I don't
- 20:06Speaker 7: think of it as my show. It's an ensemble show,
- 20:08Speaker 7: like I think The Lord. When there's other drama going
- 20:12Speaker 7: on or there's new guys in the mix, I know,
- 20:15Speaker 7: it's like off of us.
- 20:18Speaker 2: You know, what do you think of West and Jesse.
- 20:22Speaker 7: I think they're the best new cast members from a
- 20:25Speaker 7: guy's perspective that we've ever had. I think that they
- 20:28Speaker 7: kind of embody what we've always been looking for, which
- 20:32Speaker 7: is like guys where there's multiple layers. It's not just
- 20:35Speaker 7: like this type cast f boy or you know jock
- 20:39Speaker 7: or model. There's multiple layers there, and you know it
- 20:44Speaker 7: takes multiple seasons to kind of get to know them.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I would think, right, yeah, did casting find them? And
- 20:50Speaker 2: do you guys have any say?
- 20:52Speaker 7: I always ask like, if you're excited about someone, let
- 20:56Speaker 7: me meet them. Yeah, Like I still do get involved
- 21:00Speaker 7: in some of that, you know, pre filming work, but
- 21:03Speaker 7: they're not going to be like, oh, Kyle's like we're
- 21:05Speaker 7: not going to cast.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Right right, right right, And do you think there's anybody
- 21:09Speaker 3: that's a part of Summerhouse that maybe their time has
- 21:14Speaker 3: come to a halt.
- 21:16Speaker 7: Look, I think it ebbs and flows right like you
- 21:19Speaker 7: have some people, you guys have seen it firsthand. You
- 21:22Speaker 7: have some cast members that aren't opening up, they aren't
- 21:24Speaker 7: being vulnerable.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Maybe there's not much feel free to name them? Feel free.
- 21:29Speaker 7: Well, we're filling our reunion on Friday, So I don't
- 21:32Speaker 7: know when this is going. I mean there's everything. You
- 21:38Speaker 7: always have someone who's like, come on, is that is
- 21:41Speaker 7: that all we got? And if it is, yeah, maybe
- 21:44Speaker 7: maybe there's an issue or or the broken record thing
- 21:48Speaker 7: you guys can probably attest to as well. It's like
- 21:50Speaker 7: if you kind of get the same old, same old
- 21:51Speaker 7: every single season.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Like I'm the CEO and what did Danielle keep saying?
- 21:56Speaker 2: I'm the CEO and.
- 21:58Speaker 7: As a as a CEO and founder. That did make
- 22:00Speaker 7: me cringe because I've never used that as a justification
- 22:04Speaker 7: in a In a conversation.
- 22:06Speaker 2: About making up with a balloon guy.
- 22:09Speaker 7: Yes, but man, I had I had one big missed opportunity.
- 22:14Speaker 7: You know, we were talking about the Blue Balloon Guy
- 22:16Speaker 7: and you know what was going on in the bedroom,
- 22:18Speaker 7: and there was a very obvious lay up to what
- 22:20Speaker 7: balloon Guy was doing with his mouth, probably blowing things
- 22:25Speaker 7: up or or or the other way around. Look back
- 22:30Speaker 7: and you're like, God, damn it, that was That would
- 22:32Speaker 7: have been perfect television.
- 22:33Speaker 3: If I was in the moment, You're like, damn it,
- 22:35Speaker 3: I was a little too tipsy.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Now is there is there ever a chance for a
- 22:38Speaker 4: balloon guy to become a full time cast member, because
- 22:40Speaker 4: like on Housewives, if somebody comes in and they make,
- 22:43Speaker 4: you know, a big a stink or people really like them,
- 22:46Speaker 4: they might consider bringing them in as a friend or
- 22:48Speaker 4: maybe a housewife.
- 22:51Speaker 7: Well, I'm going to operate an assumption balloon Guy's not
- 22:53Speaker 7: going to listen to this.
- 22:55Speaker 3: I think going back that none of us learn balloon
- 22:59Speaker 3: Guy's name pretty much answers your question.
- 23:03Speaker 7: It is Joe. He was a good sport. I don't
- 23:04Speaker 7: think he knew what he walked into. But look, I
- 23:09Speaker 7: think that part of the challenges that we face casting guys.
- 23:13Speaker 7: New York's like the anti LA in the sense that
- 23:15Speaker 7: people actually don't want to be on TV here. They're
- 23:18Speaker 7: very focused on careers that don't translate to being able
- 23:21Speaker 7: to make cameos or even being guests or or full
- 23:24Speaker 7: time cast members. So we strung. We've struggled in the
- 23:28Speaker 7: pastors finding guys and kind of checking up boxes. And look,
- 23:31Speaker 7: we've had some great guys, but that doesn't mean they
- 23:34Speaker 7: make great television, right, And so I think West made
- 23:37Speaker 7: a great splash. I think people still there's a lot
- 23:40Speaker 7: to a lot more meat on the bone with Jesse.
- 23:43Speaker 7: There's there's you know, we obviously got to know Wes
- 23:45Speaker 7: morganas immediately had this little love interest with Sierra, which
- 23:49Speaker 7: obviously bodes well for camera time.
- 23:51Speaker 3: But it's pissing me off because I see in the
- 23:53Speaker 3: scenes for next week that he's texting other girls.
- 23:56Speaker 2: So now I'm mad at West.
- 23:58Speaker 7: Well, you know, we all have our our first season edit,
- 24:01Speaker 7: and apparently this is more like a ten episode edit.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Really well, speaking of do you live in the Burbs
- 24:08Speaker 3: yet or no?
- 24:10Speaker 7: No, And that's actually one thing I want to clear up, Like,
- 24:13Speaker 7: I don't think I was ever misleading Amanda. We've always
- 24:17Speaker 7: just kind of I thought, sure, we're almost three years
- 24:20Speaker 7: ato marriage. I thought we would be trying for a
- 24:24Speaker 7: variety of reasons, we're not. And in my mind, like
- 24:29Speaker 7: leaving everything we've got here, the network of friends, you know,
- 24:34Speaker 7: people that I work with, my office. I just figured
- 24:38Speaker 7: it makes more sense to go to the burbs when
- 24:40Speaker 7: you have kids that are at that age where they
- 24:42Speaker 7: want to play outside and.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Go to school.
- 24:45Speaker 7: Yeah, just because like before that, like what's the point
- 24:48Speaker 7: you're you're uprooting everything almost like prematurely. So there was
- 24:52Speaker 7: a little bit of misalignment there. I also am very
- 24:56Speaker 7: torn about which direction we had. Like in New York City,
- 25:00Speaker 7: no matter where you go, there are pretty accurate stereotypes.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Were you were you born and raised in New York?
- 25:06Speaker 7: No, I'm from New Hampshire, which, like people think I
- 25:10Speaker 7: must be like cow tipping on the weekends. But I
- 25:15Speaker 7: grew up in Manchester. There was a pretty normal, like
- 25:18Speaker 7: middle class upbringing in a small little city about an
- 25:22Speaker 7: hour from Boston.
- 25:23Speaker 2: How did you get cast for the show? Was this
- 25:26Speaker 2: your idea? Was it a casting director?
- 25:28Speaker 7: This is kind of part of why, this is part
- 25:31Speaker 7: of why I do feel a sense of pride. I
- 25:33Speaker 7: don't want to say ownership, but you know, early on
- 25:37Speaker 7: kind of a one man band did a casting call
- 25:41Speaker 7: for show kind of real world style that was going
- 25:44Speaker 7: to be based in Montak, so nothing novel, but no
- 25:47Speaker 7: one had done it in the Hamptons. I walked into
- 25:50Speaker 7: the room expecting to see a bunch of familiar faces,
- 25:52Speaker 7: because when you go all the way out east to
- 25:55Speaker 7: Montalk and you're partying at Serflage every Sunday, you get
- 25:58Speaker 7: to know people, particularly ten years ago, and like, it
- 26:01Speaker 7: wasn't like an influencer, you know, haven. You just had
- 26:04Speaker 7: people that were, you know, enjoying their Sundays before they
- 26:08Speaker 7: go back to work in the city. And I just
- 26:10Speaker 7: was like, Wow, they missed the mark on the casting
- 26:13Speaker 7: And then I was like, Yo, you don't even have
- 26:14Speaker 7: a house rented. There's no way this is happening this summer.
- 26:17Speaker 7: And I just found myself like educating everybody involved as
- 26:21Speaker 7: to like who they should be looking for, where they
- 26:24Speaker 7: should be, you know, you know, renting a house, et cetera,
- 26:27Speaker 7: et cetera. And so sure enough, it didn't. Nothing happened
- 26:31Speaker 7: as a result. But I got contacted by the casting
- 26:34Speaker 7: director and she's like, look, some more experienced producers have
- 26:37Speaker 7: kind of taken on the project. They loved you. They
- 26:42Speaker 7: want to meet your friends. And I'm like, I'm not
- 26:44Speaker 7: going to waste anybody's time until I know this is
- 26:47Speaker 7: somewhat legitimate, and so instead of bringing all my friends
- 26:51Speaker 7: to them, I let them come to a party. I
- 26:53Speaker 7: was actually hosting Who's a charity event? And that's kind
- 26:58Speaker 7: of how the the real casting began. They they found
- 27:01Speaker 7: out that I knew the Workstes, So the girls, the
- 27:03Speaker 7: twins from season one and two. We were friends. We'd
- 27:06Speaker 7: actually met out in the Hamptons, and through them and
- 27:09Speaker 7: me and all of our shared friends and friends of friends,
- 27:14Speaker 7: I mean probably one hundred people went through the Ringer
- 27:16Speaker 7: in terms of the casting process.
- 27:18Speaker 3: And is there anyone that was on at any of
- 27:20Speaker 3: these past seasons that you wish was still there? Like
- 27:24Speaker 3: you can only pick one that you're like, Wow, I
- 27:27Speaker 3: really wish this person wasn't gone, whether it was production's
- 27:29Speaker 3: decision or the person's decision.
- 27:31Speaker 2: And does any is it like Housewives? Does anyone really
- 27:33Speaker 2: quit Summerhouse or do you only get fired?
- 27:37Speaker 7: Yeah? I think all shows on Bravo have the same ala,
- 27:43Speaker 7: no matter how you pr it. No, Look, I think
- 27:47Speaker 7: there's there was a couple unfortunate departures, Like I hate
- 27:50Speaker 7: having any kind of like riffs or beefs that kind
- 27:56Speaker 7: of went unresolved. Like how I after the second season reunion,
- 28:02Speaker 7: you know, when we kind of split ways with the
- 28:04Speaker 7: workers is I just it irked me with how we
- 28:07Speaker 7: left things, even though I didn't really feel like they
- 28:09Speaker 7: treated me and Amanda how we should be treated. You know,
- 28:13Speaker 7: I felt bad with you know again, despite the attacks,
- 28:18Speaker 7: I felt about how things Hannah was uh ended. With Hannah,
- 28:22Speaker 7: I think season five was a tough season to film.
- 28:24Speaker 7: We were in the pandemic. I think there was a
- 28:27Speaker 7: lot of pressure for her to, like I think she
- 28:30Speaker 7: felt felt like she was, you know, whether in the
- 28:34Speaker 7: hot seat or felt like she needed to bring like
- 28:36Speaker 7: that main cast energy. Yeah, there's been a lot of
- 28:39Speaker 7: instance that Stephen McGee like, we've we've buried the hatchet,
- 28:44Speaker 7: you know, so I'd love to, like, you know, have
- 28:48Speaker 7: an opportunity kind of bury the hatchet with some of
- 28:50Speaker 7: these people.
- 28:50Speaker 2: But you know, I bring them back, I said, I've.
- 28:55Speaker 7: Said, I'm like, I get it. Hannah is like doing
- 28:58Speaker 7: the comedy thing and Gigley squad and doesn't need to
- 29:02Speaker 7: bring you know, doesn't want to bring her relationship into
- 29:05Speaker 7: the ringer, which I respect.
- 29:19Speaker 4: Do you think next season Lindsay and Carl will have
- 29:22Speaker 4: a problem filming together and will one of them go.
- 29:26Speaker 7: I think the reunion is going to be a real
- 29:27Speaker 7: big telltale sign because I don't want to like spill
- 29:30Speaker 7: too much here. Yeah, we're spilling some tea. We're drinking
- 29:34Speaker 7: some tea. I mean, look, when when you have lawyers
- 29:38Speaker 7: get involved, that means you no longer can like directly communicate.
- 29:43Speaker 7: Like that's just I don't know if it's like an
- 29:46Speaker 7: unwritten law or it's an actual law of the land, right,
- 29:49Speaker 7: Like you know, once lawyers are are kind of leading
- 29:53Speaker 7: the communications, you can't really circumvent and.
- 29:56Speaker 2: You mean lawyers between the two of them, Yeah, which
- 29:59Speaker 2: the don't they have to like pay off the wedding
- 30:03Speaker 2: wasn't there?
- 30:04Speaker 7: Carl took the hit, Carl's kind of been taking the
- 30:09Speaker 7: financial hits and I don't. And again this is something
- 30:12Speaker 7: that we'll be talked about. I don't understand a world
- 30:16Speaker 7: in which lawyers are involved. You don't have entangled assets,
- 30:20Speaker 7: there's no alimony, there's no child custody. This is a
- 30:23Speaker 7: bad breakup.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Did they even have dogs? I was gonna say that,
- 30:26Speaker 2: do they have a dog.
- 30:27Speaker 7: They have no dogs. They had a car.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Okay, so somebody's bitter. Somebody's really bitter, That's what it is.
- 30:37Speaker 7: So I think that I think now when they watch
- 30:42Speaker 7: it back, I think they probably both have an easier
- 30:44Speaker 7: time of acknowledging accepting we weren't meant to be. I
- 30:48Speaker 7: wish things didn't get so bitter. I wish lawyers didn't
- 30:52Speaker 7: get involved, because to me, that makes any type of
- 30:55Speaker 7: reconciliation all the much harder, and it makes it harder
- 31:00Speaker 7: to imagine a world in which they could, like coens
- 31:03Speaker 7: co exist under one house this summer.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Do you think they thought this would be like they're
- 31:07Speaker 3: scandal all. Do you think there was any prethinking through it?
- 31:10Speaker 3: Because sometimes I'm watching some of these moments that are
- 31:13Speaker 3: having together and listen, you and a man have gotten
- 31:15Speaker 3: in brutal arguments on the show and things that I'm
- 31:18Speaker 3: sure both of you regret. But some of the things
- 31:20Speaker 3: that those two were saying to each other, I was like,
- 31:23Speaker 3: even if there's like a morsel of love there, you
- 31:26Speaker 3: probably don't say it.
- 31:28Speaker 2: You just don't see it.
- 31:29Speaker 4: Between them, they did not seem like they got along
- 31:32Speaker 4: at all, Like she was annoyed by the way he breathed.
- 31:35Speaker 2: It seemed like it's like, why do you want to
- 31:36Speaker 2: marry someone.
- 31:38Speaker 7: You saw it even the previous season. I don't know
- 31:39Speaker 7: how like well versed you are in Summer House lore,
- 31:43Speaker 7: but like there were people they kind of rejected the
- 31:48Speaker 7: notion of them as a couple kind of from the
- 31:50Speaker 7: get go. Yeah, I tried to rally and stand by,
- 31:55Speaker 7: you know, particularly Carl's side, because he always was there
- 31:57Speaker 7: for me during my ups and downs of my relationship.
- 32:00Speaker 7: And I'm like, all right, apples and oranges, but I
- 32:01Speaker 7: still got to be there for the guy. And I mean,
- 32:04Speaker 7: I've known Lindsay technically longer than I've known Carl. So
- 32:08Speaker 7: it was a tough spot because, yeah, a lot of
- 32:10Speaker 7: us saw a lot of the red flags, a lot
- 32:12Speaker 7: of the writing on the wall. I knew once Lindsay
- 32:15Speaker 7: was drinking again that it was going to create a
- 32:18Speaker 7: lot of challenges. And that's not to say I'm blaming Lindsay,
- 32:21Speaker 7: but it's just like they are two very different people
- 32:23Speaker 7: to begin with, Yeah, mixed an alcohol.
- 32:27Speaker 4: Can can we blame Lindsey for having Carla ask you
- 32:32Speaker 4: to be the flower boy?
- 32:34Speaker 7: See she was just saw watch what happened saying that,
- 32:36Speaker 7: like I don't even know who to believe it really
- 32:39Speaker 7: doesn't matter. Like I understand having planned a wedding and
- 32:42Speaker 7: it practically it was like the wedding that.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Just never seemed to he's watching right now, He's like, yeah,
- 32:54Speaker 2: it was.
- 32:55Speaker 7: I mean, I'm not going to say the planning almost.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Like you know, broke you guys, it was fine.
- 32:59Speaker 7: God with COVID and just all the stress, the challenges.
- 33:03Speaker 7: We've had a couple of venues that fell through because
- 33:05Speaker 7: of filming deposits were lost, you know, and then the
- 33:09Speaker 7: costs just doubled with the aftermath of COVID, all the
- 33:13Speaker 7: vendors trying to like make up for eighteen months of
- 33:15Speaker 7: lost revenue. So anyway, I can appreciate, like, Okay, I
- 33:19Speaker 7: wanted to put you know, a cap on groomsmen and
- 33:23Speaker 7: bridesmaids and you know, et cetera, et cetera. And Paul
- 33:26Speaker 7: does have a bunch of really good friends that he's
- 33:28Speaker 7: still close with from his childhood and and whatnot. So
- 33:32Speaker 7: I honestly didn't take it too personally. I also knew that, like, yeah,
- 33:36Speaker 7: like I came at Lindsay to the summer before. Although
- 33:41Speaker 7: I think I called it how it was, I just
- 33:44Speaker 7: my delivery was incredibly distasteful. I was, you know, name
- 33:47Speaker 7: calling and you know, screaming and all that good stuff.
- 33:51Speaker 2: But I do that all the time.
- 33:52Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean, you know, sometimes the truth Hirst. But well,
- 33:57Speaker 7: but yeah, I look, I think the flower boy thing
- 34:01Speaker 7: was actually pretty funny, and I get like him wanting
- 34:04Speaker 7: to awsome involve Luke and Andrea. So I was gonna
- 34:08Speaker 7: roll the punches.
- 34:09Speaker 3: But well, watching this this entire season, at first, I
- 34:15Speaker 3: was kind of like, what the hell Lindsay. I was
- 34:17Speaker 3: annoyed at Lindsay the whole time, but this past episode myself,
- 34:21Speaker 3: and then I actually like went on Twitter and read
- 34:23Speaker 3: it and trolled around and saw I didn't write anything.
- 34:25Speaker 3: I just looked, and it seemed like there started to
- 34:27Speaker 3: be a shift after the conversation that Carl had with
- 34:31Speaker 3: his parents, that people started to see the other side.
- 34:35Speaker 7: Here's my take on it. I've seen and I don't
- 34:37Speaker 7: know if you're reading the same things I read, because
- 34:39Speaker 7: I was curious. A lot of people were like, oh
- 34:42Speaker 7: my god, this was premeditated, this was scripted. Carl lanned
- 34:47Speaker 7: this conversation right.
- 34:48Speaker 2: This happened after filming and they broke up, And I.
- 34:51Speaker 7: Can tell you right now that couldn't be further from
- 34:54Speaker 7: the truth. I think what made it so eye opening
- 34:58Speaker 7: was the brutal honesty that lou his stepdad, was willing
- 35:03Speaker 7: to give him in that moment. And because I can
- 35:07Speaker 7: tell you right now, like Carl grappled with how to
- 35:11Speaker 7: even tell me and then tell Lindsey about this combo.
- 35:15Speaker 7: He knew blow things up.
- 35:17Speaker 2: So he this combo happened in real time. As we're saying,
- 35:20Speaker 2: I've been.
- 35:20Speaker 7: In real time, and you know, I think that the
- 35:25Speaker 7: other thing I'll say about this scene, but that moment
- 35:30Speaker 7: was one of the most unedited things I've ever watched
- 35:33Speaker 7: on Bravo. It was practically a straight through shot of
- 35:37Speaker 7: the conversation because you can always tell when things are
- 35:39Speaker 7: like editor, And that was another thing where I'm like, look,
- 35:43Speaker 7: if people knew what we knew, having you know, gone
- 35:47Speaker 7: through the process, you know, you see the behind the scenes,
- 35:50Speaker 7: I'm like, that was one of the most real, raw, unedited,
- 35:54Speaker 7: unproduced combos I've ever seen on Bravo. Period.
- 35:58Speaker 4: No, I forget there was so much news about their breakup.
- 36:02Speaker 4: It was probably close to a year ago, right, does
- 36:05Speaker 4: it actually happen on camera or did it happen after
- 36:08Speaker 4: you guys.
- 36:09Speaker 7: Stopped well that was the big you know.
- 36:13Speaker 2: This was right before Bravocon, right, I'm trying to remember.
- 36:16Speaker 7: What happened was cameras went down, and you know, the
- 36:24Speaker 7: the producers were pitching the network literally three days later
- 36:27Speaker 7: about the budget needed to cover their wedding because I mean,
- 36:31Speaker 7: nothing's given, and and the producers were they're the ones
- 36:38Speaker 7: you reach out to Carl. I think where things got
- 36:40Speaker 7: crazy was the immediate accusation that Carl actually is the
- 36:44Speaker 7: one who called up the cameras.
- 36:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I was wondering.
- 36:47Speaker 7: So the producers are like looking at each other, like
- 36:49Speaker 7: just based on how the last couple of conversations went
- 36:52Speaker 7: in the house out in the Hamptons, it would make
- 36:55Speaker 7: zero sense to go straight into a wedding. We need
- 36:59Speaker 7: a therapy session, we need something, because it was like
- 37:04Speaker 7: and I was actually taking apart my stereo the last
- 37:08Speaker 7: day in the house as they were trying to have
- 37:10Speaker 7: one last combo and it was like two ships passing.
- 37:13Speaker 7: They just couldnot like see eye to eye on anything.
- 37:18Speaker 7: And so I could actually appreciate where the producers were
- 37:20Speaker 7: coming from and what immediately made the headlines. And I
- 37:22Speaker 7: think this was kind of I hate to say it,
- 37:24Speaker 7: But from Lindsay's camp, the rumor started that Carl was
- 37:28Speaker 7: the one who called up the cameras, and so the
- 37:31Speaker 7: whole thing from the very first piece of press.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Well not just that he called up the cameras.
- 37:36Speaker 3: They made it seem like she found out through the
- 37:39Speaker 3: press that this happened.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah, and she had never told her and did she
- 37:44Speaker 2: know in real time?
- 37:45Speaker 7: Before You'll see, Carl wasn't even the one who put
- 37:49Speaker 7: the nail on the coffin. So all that gets filmed
- 37:54Speaker 7: because the producers were in communication with Carl and Lindsay
- 37:59Speaker 7: about needing to film something to kind of connect.
- 38:02Speaker 2: The dots, and so he filmed the breakup.
- 38:07Speaker 7: The break I mean, I didn't start as a breakup scene.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Oh so thing.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Do you think that Carl did it so Lindsay couldn't
- 38:17Speaker 4: twist it? He did it on camera so.
- 38:19Speaker 7: She can in retrospect. I'm sure he's thankful, because look,
- 38:24Speaker 7: she has a past in PR and what do you
- 38:27Speaker 7: do in PR? You spin things. So I think that
- 38:30Speaker 7: was a motivator for him, But I think it was
- 38:32Speaker 7: a beneficial byproduct of them doing on camera.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Do you think that either of them is still in
- 38:38Speaker 2: love with the other one.
- 38:41Speaker 7: I think they miss each other's company and friendship because
- 38:45Speaker 7: I think that's what the relationship was built upon to
- 38:48Speaker 7: begin with. So I'm sure there are moments where one
- 38:55Speaker 7: another is, you know, lonely, but I think it didn't
- 39:00Speaker 7: take long for I think both them to realize, Okay,
- 39:03Speaker 7: this wasn't meant to be. Maybe they got caught up
- 39:05Speaker 7: in the moment. It doesn't you know, it doesn't help
- 39:08Speaker 7: that TV does kind of push fast forward on things, right, Yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 7: I mean we've all seen that and how it can
- 39:16Speaker 7: can kind of affect things, sometimes for good, sometimes we're bad.
- 39:20Speaker 3: Have you met her new man yet, Lindsay's I have, Yeah,
- 39:26Speaker 3: he thumbs up, thumbs down in the middle.
- 39:27Speaker 7: He seems like a really good, normal guy that clearly
- 39:30Speaker 7: hasn't seen a single minute.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Of reality television. Yeah.
- 39:36Speaker 4: So Linday was supposed to do Traders with me on
- 39:38Speaker 4: season two, and then she did it because of the wedding.
- 39:41Speaker 4: And then the wedding got called off and her and
- 39:43Speaker 4: I were talking and she's like, well, maybe I can
- 39:44Speaker 4: come in mid season, but didn't happen.
- 39:47Speaker 2: I heard there's some rumors that she.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Might be doing in season three. Now you did season one, Yeah,
- 39:53Speaker 4: was that not brutal?
- 39:55Speaker 7: It was wild. But here's the thing I love. I mean,
- 40:01Speaker 7: to do a season one show is kind of like
- 40:03Speaker 7: an honor and a privilege, and now to do Traders
- 40:06Speaker 7: since it was so well received as an honor and privilege, right,
- 40:08Speaker 7: but think about it like Summerhouse, brand new concept, something
- 40:12Speaker 7: Bravo really hadn't attempted to truly. I mean, yeah, they
- 40:15Speaker 7: filmed some surveillance stuff and below Deck and whatnot, but
- 40:20Speaker 7: you know, that was kind of a new concept for them.
- 40:22Speaker 7: And then Winterhouse. Basically, I don't know if we filmed
- 40:27Speaker 7: before anything Girls Trips or not. I think we did.
- 40:30Speaker 7: It helped them figure out how to really condense filming
- 40:33Speaker 7: into some little short, fun action pack season and then
- 40:38Speaker 7: to do Traders. I was like so out of my olment.
- 40:41Speaker 7: I never watched any of these competition shows.
- 40:43Speaker 2: You too, it was horrible. What was the best and
- 40:45Speaker 2: worst part of it for you?
- 40:48Speaker 7: I think the best part was it was riveting. It
- 40:52Speaker 7: was exhilarating, and it was a show where the drama
- 40:55Speaker 7: had nothing to do with my personal life, right. I
- 41:00Speaker 7: Also it kind of allowed me to like put the
- 41:02Speaker 7: party party boy hat up on the hook because I'm
- 41:07Speaker 7: look I've got my m b A. I'm a smart guy.
- 41:09Speaker 7: I was the first to figure out who all three
- 41:12Speaker 7: traders were. And you know it didn't I think it
- 41:15Speaker 7: showed me.
- 41:15Speaker 3: You know who you remind me of when you just
- 41:17Speaker 3: gave yourself a little compliment.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Tam Tam.
- 41:23Speaker 3: She'll say things like, you know, I was iconic, and
- 41:25Speaker 3: I'm like, one time, don't don't.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Be jealous, Teddy.
- 41:31Speaker 3: So you guys, you have the same drunk voice as
- 41:36Speaker 3: tam Ra and you guys, you to your own horror.
- 41:39Speaker 2: I love it along. We can see brother and sister exactly.
- 41:43Speaker 7: I was Actually there were parts I think the more
- 41:46Speaker 7: the more frustrating part, but interestingly it added a dynamic.
- 41:50Speaker 7: Was you had ten people that had been on TV
- 41:51Speaker 7: and ten people that had it, and I think the
- 41:55Speaker 7: producers like, oh, that'll create an interesting dynamic. But what
- 41:57Speaker 7: I think ended up happening was the TV personalities almost
- 42:01Speaker 7: had to suppress the non TV people had to, like
- 42:04Speaker 7: at least try to rise to the occasion and get
- 42:06Speaker 7: comfortable with cameras, and that, to me is interesting, but
- 42:11Speaker 7: I think it takes a little bit of a way
- 42:13Speaker 7: away from what the show is supposed to be about.
- 42:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I think they won't do that again. I think
- 42:18Speaker 2: they'll have just well, yeah, they already kind of yeah.
- 42:20Speaker 7: Yeah, I think they saw the writing on the wall.
- 42:22Speaker 7: But I mean, look, we had some incredible cast members
- 42:24Speaker 7: from those ten that hadn't been on. But I think
- 42:27Speaker 7: it's like it just allows you to get to the
- 42:29Speaker 7: you know, jump to the punch like much quicker. If
- 42:32Speaker 7: everyone's like, all right, yeah, been on TV before, who's
- 42:35Speaker 7: the freaking Trader?
- 42:36Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 42:36Speaker 2: How many episodes did were you on?
- 42:38Speaker 7: I made it about halfway?
- 42:41Speaker 2: And uh so, how did you have ten episodes too?
- 42:45Speaker 2: You're on like my five episodes?
- 42:47Speaker 7: You guys had eleven. I think we had ten, And yeah,
- 42:49Speaker 7: I was on. I think I got the boot at
- 42:51Speaker 7: the very end of five.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I got the the beginning of five, and I
- 42:55Speaker 2: was deathly.
- 42:56Speaker 4: When I say deathly, I mean deathly sick, the sickest
- 42:59Speaker 4: I've ever been in my life.
- 43:00Speaker 7: You were missing for one challenge.
- 43:03Speaker 4: I was actually missing four days, but they only made
- 43:05Speaker 4: it look like I was missing. You know, you shoot
- 43:07Speaker 4: the first episode like in three or four days, and
- 43:10Speaker 4: then we had like a press day, then we had
- 43:12Speaker 4: two days off, and then I missed a day so
- 43:14Speaker 4: I was able to like doctor came in, put me
- 43:17Speaker 4: on these super strong antibotics and just so freaking sick.
- 43:21Speaker 4: I could barely even walk, couldn't talk, I lost my
- 43:23Speaker 4: voice completely.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Put me on antibotics.
- 43:25Speaker 4: The antibotics had a reverse reaction to me, like I
- 43:28Speaker 4: ended up in the hospital.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Like it was just a horrible experience altogether.
- 43:32Speaker 4: I wish sometimes I wish I could redo it now,
- 43:36Speaker 4: knowing what I was getting into. Plus a little bit
- 43:38Speaker 4: nervous because I thought being on Housewives, I was going
- 43:41Speaker 4: to be like, Oh, this is gonna be easy. You know,
- 43:43Speaker 4: I've been able to it's so different.
- 43:47Speaker 2: First of all, there's no drinking. There's no drinking, so
- 43:49Speaker 2: there's no camera balls. To get with a couple of cocktails.
- 43:52Speaker 4: You just have to e and it's exhausting talking camera
- 43:57Speaker 4: camera balls.
- 43:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:58Speaker 2: So like literally.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Literally getting up at six in the morning, us girls
- 44:03Speaker 4: trying to get makeup and look decent, and you literally
- 44:06Speaker 4: are there, you know, filming till eleven o'clock at night,
- 44:09Speaker 4: and then you don't get you can have to unwind,
- 44:11Speaker 4: take notes literally four hours of sleep night.
- 44:14Speaker 7: A couple of things that I think they I gave feedback,
- 44:17Speaker 7: and I don't know if they take it into consideration.
- 44:19Speaker 7: But one of the issues that I had going back
- 44:22Speaker 7: to your question. See, so since I knew the producers
- 44:26Speaker 7: chose uh got to choose all three traders from the
- 44:29Speaker 7: get go by process of elimination. Once I figured out
- 44:33Speaker 7: I knew it was Cody, I knew was Christian. Two
- 44:36Speaker 7: white dudes. Okay, it's not gonna be another white dude,
- 44:41Speaker 7: probably not even a white chick. So I started trying
- 44:44Speaker 7: to like think like that and start do process of
- 44:48Speaker 7: you know, of elimination. And on your season, they let
- 44:51Speaker 7: the two traders choose the third, which I thought was
- 44:53Speaker 7: really smart.
- 44:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:55Speaker 7: I also liked the you know, bringing Kate in to
- 45:00Speaker 7: kind of mix it up and kind of remind I
- 45:01Speaker 7: haven't seen Big Brother, but yeah, that was hell Yeah,
- 45:06Speaker 7: and I think there was actual how I think they'll
- 45:09Speaker 7: continue to mix it up like that to keep people
- 45:11Speaker 7: on their toes.
- 45:12Speaker 2: I think they're going to bring Bananas back half halfway
- 45:14Speaker 2: through the season. I think he got robbed.
- 45:17Speaker 7: Yeah, even I want to go back, but I would
- 45:19Speaker 7: say Bonanza Banana should go back before I because he
- 45:21Speaker 7: got You can't remind me of res like I thought
- 45:25Speaker 7: Resida got robbed because of his personality, and oh my god,
- 45:28Speaker 7: I think he did too. Although it's horrible I mean competition.
- 45:34Speaker 4: But even as a faithful to try to pick out
- 45:35Speaker 4: a trader like you just met and you only had, like,
- 45:38Speaker 4: you know, twenty four hours to sum them up, and
- 45:41Speaker 4: you have to go off their mannerisms and all these things,
- 45:44Speaker 4: and you don't even know this person, it's really difficult
- 45:46Speaker 4: to like, Okay, you're a trader. I mean, Peppermint got
- 45:49Speaker 4: kicked off or murdered or vanished, whatever it was.
- 45:51Speaker 7: I feel bad.
- 45:52Speaker 4: I felt bad, and it was because she said she
- 45:56Speaker 4: slipped and said I'm a trader. And so when somebody
- 45:58Speaker 4: says that the beginning, that that's all you have to
- 46:02Speaker 4: go off of, that's it.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Who do you think will be the best from Summer
- 46:06Speaker 3: House or Winterhouse to go on traders?
- 46:08Speaker 7: Like?
- 46:08Speaker 2: Who would kill it?
- 46:10Speaker 7: I'm actually getting if Lindsay gets cast the first season three,
- 46:13Speaker 7: I mean, that's that'll be interesting TV. She'd be my
- 46:18Speaker 7: number one.
- 46:22Speaker 5: You know, maybe maybe Age maybe.
- 46:31Speaker 7: Like Schwartz, I don't know. I think Sports is a
- 46:35Speaker 7: really freaking smart guy.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Like I know, he just plays like this like little puppy.
- 46:41Speaker 7: I love to get him out of his element.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Yeah, me too. Why do I have a feeling Sandoval
- 46:45Speaker 2: is going to be on I could.
- 46:47Speaker 7: See Yeah, I mean yeah, he's He's basically doing every
- 46:51Speaker 7: villain show that's been been written.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Of villains. I'm surprised, Oh he will.
- 46:58Speaker 7: Yeah that's a way.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Now, is that a show that you would be like, yeah,
- 47:01Speaker 2: I want to be on House of Villains?
- 47:02Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 47:02Speaker 2: Would you do House the Villains?
- 47:04Speaker 7: So I only saw a little bits and pieces. I
- 47:07Speaker 7: think the names a little misleading at the other day,
- 47:09Speaker 7: She's like a competition show, right, So yeah, I love strategy.
- 47:12Speaker 7: I think I'm just not as well versed in like
- 47:15Speaker 7: the alliances and like I thought I thought Survivor was
- 47:18Speaker 7: about physical feats. It's like, no, you actually are prone
- 47:22Speaker 7: to getting voted off if you crush physical feats. It's
- 47:25Speaker 7: about all the social strategy game.
- 47:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:29Speaker 2: I just find Traders so confusing when I first started.
- 47:32Speaker 4: Now knowing lived it all that I would go back
- 47:36Speaker 4: totally different person.
- 47:37Speaker 7: Yeah, So, of all the competition shows, what would the
- 47:41Speaker 7: two of you want to do?
- 47:42Speaker 2: I would want to do Special Forces.
- 47:44Speaker 4: I got called about that one, but I couldn't do
- 47:47Speaker 4: it because I was doing something else.
- 47:48Speaker 2: But that sounds that's a little bit brudal.
- 47:51Speaker 3: What I like about that one is you don't get
- 47:53Speaker 3: voted off. So for me, like I did well in
- 47:56Speaker 3: Big Brother, I was second in the competition, my first competition,
- 48:00Speaker 3: and then they were like we see you as a threat.
- 48:01Speaker 7: You're out, goodbye, but you get the early acts.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Yeah, but Special Forces, the only way that you don't
- 48:09Speaker 3: make it through is if you quit on yourself, which
- 48:11Speaker 3: you don't even have to complete, like you you could
- 48:14Speaker 3: still fail a mission, but as long as you don't quit.
- 48:17Speaker 2: And I'm like, that's something, it's a mental challenge.
- 48:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 48:22Speaker 4: I don't want to do any show that I can't
- 48:24Speaker 4: have my phone that limit game. That is a deal
- 48:29Speaker 4: breaker for me. How's the villain you can have your phone?
- 48:32Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 48:34Speaker 7: For Traders, I was like, listen, if there's an emergency,
- 48:38Speaker 7: my CEO has to be able to reach me.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Like, yeah, that's the thing.
- 48:42Speaker 4: And I don't know which one of you things up
- 48:43Speaker 4: for season two of Traders, but we weren't even allowed
- 48:46Speaker 4: to have remote controls to our TV because one of
- 48:49Speaker 4: you found out how to communicate through the smart TV
- 48:53Speaker 4: or whatever it is where they can Yeah, I'm going to.
- 48:55Speaker 2: Say, Kate did it. I think Kate's the one that
- 48:57Speaker 2: figured it out.
- 48:58Speaker 3: Kate, it doesn't seem like she could figure out to
- 49:02Speaker 3: that point. Can we get back to page who? I
- 49:04Speaker 3: want to be my best friend? But I don't know.
- 49:07Speaker 3: Do you think that her and Craig are going to last?
- 49:11Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 49:11Speaker 7: I mean, look, I think they've done a pretty remarkable
- 49:14Speaker 7: job making it work, given their locations, given the two
- 49:18Speaker 7: different you know, shows that they're on. I mean, to
- 49:20Speaker 7: some extent, I think I didn't see the last season
- 49:23Speaker 7: of Southern Charm, but I think it was shep perhaps
- 49:26Speaker 7: leading the charge, kind of calling Craig out, like, Yo,
- 49:28Speaker 7: you don't have to bring in like the the really
- 49:32Speaker 7: in depth relationship trauma because your girlfriend's on the show.
- 49:35Speaker 7: So to that extent, I can understand why cast members
- 49:40Speaker 7: are like, oh, it's kind of like the easy way out,
- 49:43Speaker 7: but they're making it work. Love. When Craig comes to Summerhouse, he.
- 49:48Speaker 3: Seem like he like lost a little bit of hope
- 49:50Speaker 3: this season. I think he seemed a little melancholy, you know.
- 49:54Speaker 7: I think some people read it as like he's just
- 49:57Speaker 7: feeling more secure, you know, and confident himself. I think that,
- 50:02Speaker 7: you know, he was basically just acknowledging like, hey, yeah,
- 50:04Speaker 7: sometimes even the relationship you want the work doesn't pan out.
- 50:09Speaker 7: I think they're going to go the distance. I don't
- 50:10Speaker 7: think they're on any strict timetable. I also just don't
- 50:14Speaker 7: really see a world in which either one of them
- 50:18Speaker 7: makes a huge sacrifice. So that's the only Like I
- 50:22Speaker 7: don't really see Page leaving New York, and I don't
- 50:25Speaker 7: really see Page leaving, uh, Craig leaving Charleston.
- 50:28Speaker 2: But you can live in both places. With what they said,
- 50:32Speaker 2: it's the best marriage ever. They live in different states.
- 50:36Speaker 7: I mean sometimes those long distance relationships like yes, I
- 50:41Speaker 7: think you know, you could argue that it creates healthy
- 50:47Speaker 7: distance and boundaries or whatever the hell it is. But
- 50:50Speaker 7: long run, one of you know, I know they both
- 50:53Speaker 7: want to start a family, probably Craig more eagerly than
- 50:56Speaker 7: than Page.
- 50:57Speaker 2: Well, what's going to have to give? Well, I'm going
- 50:59Speaker 2: to do. What do you think will happen? First?
- 51:02Speaker 3: That Page will move to Charleston or that you'll move
- 51:04Speaker 3: to the burbs.
- 51:06Speaker 7: Oh boy, there's got to be a third option.
- 51:11Speaker 2: There isn't He's like, why didn't I say alcohol?
- 51:14Speaker 4: The third option would be Amanda moves to Jersey, and
- 51:18Speaker 4: you guys have a long distance marriage.
- 51:21Speaker 7: Well, but even that just seems unhealthy, like if because
- 51:23Speaker 7: I know plenty of people back particularly I feel like
- 51:27Speaker 7: back in the mad Man days of like fifties sixties
- 51:29Speaker 7: in New York, where you know, you'd have the house
- 51:31Speaker 7: and the burbs, and then when apartments are a little
- 51:34Speaker 7: more affordable, you'd have like the apartment here here, here,
- 51:36Speaker 7: three four nights a week. That just seems weird to me,
- 51:40Speaker 7: you know what I mean. I can understand why I
- 51:41Speaker 7: work because commuting sucks, but like the second you have kids,
- 51:47Speaker 7: like do you want to be away from the kids,
- 51:48Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 51:49Speaker 2: No, it'd be too hard, too hard, Yeah, I think that.
- 51:54Speaker 2: I think that's hard.
- 51:54Speaker 3: And then also but I think those are the conversations that.
- 51:58Speaker 2: You have to have owing, you know, before you go forward.
- 52:03Speaker 7: Hey, you're still you're tight with Stossi and Bo, Right, Yeah,
- 52:06Speaker 7: I love that. I actually caught up with Bo a
- 52:09Speaker 7: couple of months ago. Stasi was with the kids, but
- 52:12Speaker 7: I kind of lost touch with them via the pandemic
- 52:16Speaker 7: and whatnot. But I love them as a couple.
- 52:18Speaker 2: They're the best. And you know what, now, like have
- 52:21Speaker 2: you watched the Valley at all.
- 52:23Speaker 7: I haven't had time. I'm like so behind on all
- 52:26Speaker 7: my friends shows. It's embarrassing, but I haven't been able
- 52:28Speaker 7: to catch it.
- 52:29Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, it's good. We cover it. It's on
- 52:33Speaker 3: popping off. It is so beyond like it. If you
- 52:37Speaker 3: think Vandi Pump Rules is a ship show like The
- 52:40Speaker 3: Valley is times ten. Valley and Summerhouse are my two
- 52:44Speaker 3: favorites now. And but I've only seen one season of Summerhouse.
- 52:47Speaker 3: I'm now going to have to go back and rewatch it.
- 52:51Speaker 7: So season one and you go eight, seven, six, four, I.
- 52:54Speaker 3: Don't work a good question. I watched season eight already.
- 52:57Speaker 3: So now do you think I should start at season?
- 53:00Speaker 3: What season am I going to dislike you the most?
- 53:02Speaker 3: And what season are you going to have my heart?
- 53:04Speaker 7: Oh? I have multiple flawed seasons.
- 53:09Speaker 2: I'm going to start with season one?
- 53:11Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 53:11Speaker 7: Well season one, season one, yeah, I think you just
- 53:14Speaker 7: started season one. Season three I go through a pretty
- 53:18Speaker 7: big public you know, roller coaster ride, but.
- 53:24Speaker 2: I need some One is the worst season with Amanda, right, Well.
- 53:28Speaker 7: We were still defining our relationship. I think where I
- 53:31Speaker 7: got and she kind of got dragged in the dirt
- 53:34Speaker 7: by fans. People called her my booty call, but we
- 53:36Speaker 7: have been dating for like sixty eight months prior, and
- 53:42Speaker 7: I was just having like that classic early thirties New
- 53:45Speaker 7: York commitment fobe challenge where I did not want to
- 53:50Speaker 7: put a label on it, partly because that's who I
- 53:52Speaker 7: was at the time, partly because I knew I was about
- 53:54Speaker 7: to do this show and I never watched reality, but
- 53:57Speaker 7: I know there's always this guy in like real world
- 53:59Speaker 7: with like the girlfriend back home at he cheats on.
- 54:01Speaker 7: I'm like, I do not want to be that guy.
- 54:03Speaker 7: So I actually kind of broken things off with Amanda,
- 54:08Speaker 7: you know, who was much more than a booty call
- 54:10Speaker 7: at the time. She was basing my girlfriend that we
- 54:12Speaker 7: didn't put the label on, and what ended up happening
- 54:16Speaker 7: was like just like pure TV gold. She tells me
- 54:19Speaker 7: after the fact that she had a house in montak
- 54:22Speaker 7: for the month of July. Was too scared to tell
- 54:24Speaker 7: me because I thought she was gonna be on the
- 54:27Speaker 7: shore in Jersey, and she was like, yeah, all my
- 54:30Speaker 7: friends are doing it, so I'm doing it, but I
- 54:32Speaker 7: didn't want to freak you out. Turns out the house
- 54:34Speaker 7: was like ten minutes from our first season house, and
- 54:37Speaker 7: as luck would have it after I had that hilarious,
- 54:41Speaker 7: highly embarrassing moment with Stassy in the hot tub where
- 54:44Speaker 7: I said she looked like Steve Jobs. No, oh, yeah,
- 54:49Speaker 7: that's season one. That's like that was Andy's number one
- 54:54Speaker 7: rated hot tub moment in Bravo history.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Broke your ankle in the hot tub, I mean Kyle's
- 55:01Speaker 3: one up in you.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I'd rather do that.
- 55:06Speaker 7: This one was just pure comedy, and it took me
- 55:09Speaker 7: like five watches to get a good laugh at it
- 55:11Speaker 7: because I'm like, oh my god, I'm literally making my
- 55:13Speaker 7: TV debut blacked out in a hot tub.
- 55:15Speaker 2: This is going to be It's not a good place.
- 55:18Speaker 7: Weekend The next weekend, a man and I we we
- 55:22Speaker 7: wrapped filming. The house goes out and I literally spontaneously
- 55:28Speaker 7: bump into Amanda on the dance floor at like two
- 55:32Speaker 7: three in the morning, she comes back to the house.
- 55:35Speaker 7: I didn't even understand how the surveillance cameras were at
- 55:37Speaker 7: the time. It didn't even realize the house was miked,
- 55:39Speaker 7: even though we weren't, and we skinny dipped and had
- 55:43Speaker 7: sex and all of it made the air.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Oh I'm turning it on right now. No, what made
- 56:02Speaker 2: the air?
- 56:02Speaker 3: This season when you baby talked to Amanda and he said,
- 56:05Speaker 3: you touch my penish?
- 56:07Speaker 5: Why?
- 56:08Speaker 2: Why did Josh?
- 56:10Speaker 7: Why? Those are those those those super raw summer house moments.
- 56:14Speaker 7: Do you get with those Thilans?
- 56:16Speaker 4: Yeah, and you have a pattern every time you get
- 56:19Speaker 4: out of bed, you put your hand down your underwear.
- 56:22Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're always a just straight away.
- 56:25Speaker 7: Well you gotta put the boy down before you stand
- 56:29Speaker 7: up on surveyillance. And then actually one moment thing was
- 56:31Speaker 7: at the second last or last episode, I was a
- 56:34Speaker 7: sneaking coming from the back of the bathroom and I
- 56:36Speaker 7: just did this sidestep. Yeah, you know the camera You
- 56:41Speaker 7: kind of get to used to working around the cameras
- 56:43Speaker 7: at the cer amount of time. But that season one,
- 56:46Speaker 7: that was pure. I mean that was like og, like
- 56:50Speaker 7: the cameras were there and we did not give up.
- 56:53Speaker 2: Now are these camera men? Are the cameras on the.
- 56:54Speaker 7: Walls the same cameras on the wall and like girls trips? Yeah, okay,
- 56:59Speaker 7: so I just don't think any of us, well a man,
- 57:03Speaker 7: it's like two things. One, I've never seen sex on Bravo,
- 57:05Speaker 7: so she signed the release. Two she's like they hardly
- 57:09Speaker 7: use any of the surveillance cameras in like below deck.
- 57:12Speaker 2: Oh so we're basing it. Yeah.
- 57:15Speaker 7: Yeah, So we were like, I mean, how much footage
- 57:17Speaker 7: because they actually use If you add up the average
- 57:20Speaker 7: season of how much footage comes from these surveillance cameras,
- 57:23Speaker 7: it's a lot.
- 57:24Speaker 3: Yeah, are we going to see you and Amanda having
- 57:26Speaker 3: sex this season?
- 57:29Speaker 7: We I think that after we crossed the threshold. I
- 57:31Speaker 7: think it was around season three or season four, man,
- 57:33Speaker 7: I was like, all right, we've given a lot. We're
- 57:36Speaker 7: no longer.
- 57:37Speaker 2: Giving that, Okay, So I mean I see that. Then
- 57:41Speaker 2: have like Lindsay and Carl where they were like good
- 57:43Speaker 2: night and they both turned around.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Yeah, last night she had to take her wig off,
- 57:47Speaker 3: like she didn't even realize it was still on, and
- 57:49Speaker 3: then you see her just pull it.
- 57:50Speaker 2: Off, and like, like, I've heads on the bed. I know,
- 57:54Speaker 2: I kind of want to see.
- 57:55Speaker 3: I don't need y'all to have everybody to be having sex,
- 57:57Speaker 3: but I want a little bit more intimacy before bed.
- 58:00Speaker 7: I mean there was a season where like three or
- 58:01Speaker 7: four rooms, like we were all having sex at the
- 58:04Speaker 7: same time. I forget what season that was. So there
- 58:06Speaker 7: was a lot more sex in the earlier days. I
- 58:08Speaker 7: think Amanda Candily is probably a little scarred from it. Yeah,
- 58:13Speaker 7: so we try to refrain from the on camera shag.
- 58:16Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm sure your parent all your parents just
- 58:18Speaker 2: love it.
- 58:19Speaker 7: What do you think either one she was just like
- 58:21Speaker 7: had to forbid her dad from what.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Yeah, don't even look.
- 58:24Speaker 3: What do you think a healthy amount of sex is
- 58:27Speaker 3: for a marriage? Because we saw this season also Karl
- 58:30Speaker 3: and Lindsay talking about I forget maybe it's once every
- 58:34Speaker 3: six weeks, like it was very spread out. I don't
- 58:36Speaker 3: know if you gave an answer, but like West and
- 58:39Speaker 3: Ciara still haven't even had sex for what we're seeing, right, Like.
- 58:44Speaker 7: I mean, if you're married and you've already gotten past
- 58:47Speaker 7: like the honeymoon phase and you're just trying to spark
- 58:49Speaker 7: a live, if you're not having sex every week, I
- 58:52Speaker 7: feel like that. I mean, yeah, you can blame schedules,
- 58:55Speaker 7: you can blame stress, you can blame whatever. But if
- 58:58Speaker 7: you're not making an effort, I think that's.
- 59:01Speaker 3: Like then it starts to get uncomfortable and you start
- 59:04Speaker 3: to get nervous to even do it.
- 59:06Speaker 7: But be yah, yeah, you don't want to like go
- 59:08Speaker 7: so long that you now that's a thing, right, And.
- 59:11Speaker 4: Then you're like, if you're not gonna if you're not
- 59:13Speaker 4: gonna initiate it either, am I, And then that can
- 59:15Speaker 4: go on.
- 59:15Speaker 7: And I can totally appreciate, like, yeah, even once a
- 59:19Speaker 7: week when you're married, like that's sometimes like the stars
- 59:22Speaker 7: don't align. But I mean one of the things my
- 59:24Speaker 7: grandfather lived a very He was like a very outspoken guy,
- 59:28Speaker 7: very comfortable and confident, and he was just like, I
- 59:32Speaker 7: forget what the third was, but he's like, let me
- 59:34Speaker 7: tell you why some marriages work and some marriages don't.
- 59:38Speaker 7: Comes down to sex money. I don't know, the third
- 59:43Speaker 7: doesn't even matter because I was just like, what do
- 59:45Speaker 7: you mean. He's like, you need to be you need
- 59:47Speaker 7: to have a healthy sexual relationship, and you need to
- 59:50Speaker 7: find someone who like has similar spending habits or philosophy
- 59:56Speaker 7: around like how you should spend your disposed because so
- 59:59Speaker 7: many mayors are challenged by you know, whether it's debt or.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: Power struggles or frivolous spending.
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:07Speaker 7: Yeah, so it's like, okay, you know, if you think
- 1:00:09Speaker 7: of it like that is you know, coming from my
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: grandfather was married for sixty something years kind of he
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: told this all that very early on. I kind of
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: took it to heart.
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well, but I know we're running out of time.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: But you said on Watch What Happens Live that you
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: are going to shave the mullet at the reunion.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: Who are you going to let shave it?
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: Yeah? Well ironically speak of my grandfather, my grandma, your grandma?
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: Yeah? So she it was funny. One of the facetimeed
- 1:00:37Speaker 7: her on her birthday, her one hundred and first birthday,
- 1:00:40Speaker 7: and she was still pretty. She had hard time like announcing, announcing,
- 1:00:47Speaker 7: announcing any things. But the one thing she's always made
- 1:00:49Speaker 7: clear to me, she hates my mullet. And even in
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: that moment, she was just like, what are you cutting it?
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: And then then the last thing I said to her,
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: like a couple of weeks later before she passed, she
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: was just like, I really hate your hair.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: Now are you going to cut it to a nice
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: little You're gonna get a little walk or something. What
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: are you gonna do?
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: I think I don't want to go right back to
- 1:01:16Speaker 7: like my pre mullet hair, but I think I'm gonna
- 1:01:19Speaker 7: go up on the reunion stage at some point. I'm
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: gonna let if we do maybe pick what do they
- 1:01:25Speaker 7: call him? Pick? Like two little maybe let handicut one
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: Amanda cut the other.
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: How does Amanda feel about the mullet? Does she carry
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: their what?
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: Well, Like I said, it's started as a bit of
- 1:01:36Speaker 7: a joke, as in New Year's Resolution, it kind of
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: became this. I mean, I think it's funny, but people
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: are like, dude, you look so much better after. I'm like,
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: this was never about looks. This is more of a lifestyle.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: I think you're going to miss it.
- 1:01:50Speaker 7: I think I'm going to miss it. I think Amanda
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: is going to fall back in love with me because
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: I don't think she likes that.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: I personally don't hate it. Well, I think the way
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: it's it's okay.
- 1:02:02Speaker 6: I like it.
- 1:02:03Speaker 3: But some of the times I'm drunk at the end
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: of the night, when it's all like it's a little
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: bit of a it's like, how my hair looks right now,
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: I'm my dog the bounty hunter.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Well you have to I mean, no pressure, but you
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: have to come up with a really cool haircut because
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: you're knowing somebody on.
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: The cast is going to be able to give him
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: a cool They could just cut off those little tails
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: and the mullet's gone.
- 1:02:24Speaker 7: Well, yeah, we're going to cut off the tails. Ironically,
- 1:02:27Speaker 7: I didn't have to go to LA to film something,
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: so I don't know what we're going to do there.
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: But something what.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: If you cut off, have Andy and Amanda cut off,
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: and then when you go to break, have your hair
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: person there and then come out with a totally different hairstyle,
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: something really cool.
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: Oh but I want to be talking ship during the break.
- 1:02:48Speaker 2: Yeah, you can talk ship while you're getting your hair.
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: That's true. I think what I want to do. I
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: have to like basically leave some room for some extensions
- 1:02:56Speaker 7: and filming a commercial on Tuesday, and they once around
- 1:03:00Speaker 7: my muet. Oh god, I'm already gonna regret cutting this thing.
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: But then I'm open to suggestion. So if you guys
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: have any pictures of some some hairstyles that should influence
- 1:03:14Speaker 7: my decision making, I'm all yours you need to get.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: I'll send you some d ms of what we think
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: would look good.
- 1:03:20Speaker 3: I'm gonna have a couple more lover boys then come
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: up with whatever I think.
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: I'll have you put your thinking cap.

- 1:03:33Speaker 2: they can get lover boy?
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: Yes?

- 1:03:50Speaker 7: for people trying to substitute.
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: Or and you will only be able to sell those online.
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: Yes, for for the most part, there are some states
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: that some of my beer wholesalers that sell our out
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: products can sell the Delta nine.
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: Do you know how many milligrams of TAT you will
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: have in it?
- 1:04:08Speaker 7: Still debating? Yeah, you're at two?
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, It's like the laws are really strict, so
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: if you're anything over a certain amount, then you have
- 1:04:16Speaker 4: to go to dispensary only.
- 1:04:17Speaker 7: Right, right, So we're kind of playing within maybe figuring
- 1:04:22Speaker 7: out the upper and lower you know rangees. That makes sense,
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: But I think I love the fact from what I understand, Tim,
- 1:04:28Speaker 7: are you like one of the more successful Bravo businesses.
- 1:04:32Speaker 7: And I feel like we haven't even talked about that,
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: So maybe another.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Time, Yeah, another time, for sure.
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: You know, I have a lot of appreciation and respect
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: for you guys that the podcast hustle, the various ventures.
