- 3:57SPEAKER_00: Easy peasy.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Super fun.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: So I'm excited.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: I'll be honest with you.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: You're supposed to prepare seven jokes.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: I have like four prepared.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: So I need to write three bangers tonight.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: I need to get three banger one-liners tonight.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: I don't know how I'm gonna do that.
- 4:18SPEAKER_00: But I'm gonna try.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: I'm sure gonna try.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna give it a plus effort.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: You know, I just wanna do better than I did last year.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: Last year I bombed out in round one.
- 4:29SPEAKER_00: This year.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: I can't bomb out in round one.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: If I bomb out in round one, I'm gonna be so sad! Frick! I'm gonna be so sad if that happens.

- 4:50SPEAKER_00: Just announced today the new Kaipa comedy.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Kaipa comedy.
- 4:55SPEAKER_00: The only thing missing is you.

- 5:06SPEAKER_00: No, I'm really excited for this new show.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: It was such a smashing success uh during the Heat Wave Comedy Tour.

- 5:17SPEAKER_00: And this time we're doing$20 tickets that includes your first beer.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: So when you get a ticket, your first beer is included in the ticket.

- 5:28SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be super, super fun.
- 5:31SPEAKER_00: Gonna be building new lineups every single month for that show.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: And I'm very, very excited to have it.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: And also gonna be running back some other shows.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: The The Vault and the District.
- 5:43SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna run back both of those venues, as well as uh some new above the iron shows getting announced, as well as my Christmas festival, my Christmas comedy festival is going to be announced very soon.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: Headliners are going to be announced very soon.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: Um when I say headliners, I mean like there's some local peeps that can do some headline time.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Those people are gonna get an opportunity, and we're gonna get a lot of people involved.
- 6:11SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: So you definitely want to come check it out.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: That's gonna be cool.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Uh, other news, other news of things.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: So, right now I'm on my way out to San Diego.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: First, I have to stop by the courthouse.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: The courthouse, the assessors, recorder's office.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: Um, so I have to drop off the wedding license, the marriage license, um for the couple, because that's the officiant's job.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: I have to drop off that license, uh, and then after that, I'm gonna head out to San Diego.
- 6:49SPEAKER_00: So this first pod 19 is gonna be me driving towards San Diego.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: And then 19.5 is gonna come out this weekend, and that's gonna be me leaving San Diego.
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: So I'm gonna do the full recap of all the shows, let you guys know how all the comedy went down and and all that.
- 7:06SPEAKER_00: So it's gonna be it's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 7:09SPEAKER_00: I'm very excited about that.
- 7:11SPEAKER_00: Uh, and then episode 20, which is gonna be next week, that is gonna be with my my bud, my homie, Melissa Nami, is gonna be on episode 20 because that's a very special episode, it's a very special moment.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: Uh, technically that's gonna be episode 39.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: If you want to get real tocney call, it's gonna be episode 39.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: But um, yeah, I'm I'm very excited.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: It's it's very, very, very, very cool.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: Uh, new pod coming soon.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: We're doing an episode this weekend, so we can get that uploaded to YouTube.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: Speaking of YouTube, my next episode of Look Mom, I'm doing it.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Part three is gonna be dropping.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: It's already uploaded to YouTube.
- 7:51SPEAKER_00: Gotta make just a few edits.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: That's gonna be dropping, uh, which I'm very excited about because it's just another peer into following me around, doing comedy, uh, getting prepared for these shows, which I'm so excited for these shows.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: I'm so so so excited for these shows.
- 8:08SPEAKER_00: Um I'm putting it all out there.
- 8:10SPEAKER_00: You know, this headlining uh gig that I have tonight is very important to me.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: It means a lot to me that people uh look and see me as a headliner.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: That's that's very appreciated, and I know it's it's been earned, you know, that with the amount that I've been on stage, the amount that I've been writing, the amount that I've been getting out there, this is just one of the perks of that.
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: And I'm just I'm so grateful that uh I get these, I keep getting these opportunities, and I hope that all my friends we continue to all work hard so we can get opportunities like this.
- 8:46SPEAKER_00: And shout out to Dan and Quanta Brewing for having me tonight.
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: This is gonna be a really, really great time.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: I'm very excited.
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: Um, also, too, the One Lighter Madness Show.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: So, Emily Winter, who used to live up in the high desert, um, she runs these shows, she travels all over the United States hosting these shows at different theaters in a bunch of different cities in New York and Chicago, uh, Minnesota.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: And if you've never done one, I would definitely uh suggest it challenge yourself to do the one-liners to where you have to freaking have some some banger one-liners because there's some really funny people that come out to do these shows, and uh man, it's really exciting seeing the level of joke writing that people put into it.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: Now, I would say the level of theft too, because I I've seen it before, and there was some people doing some sketchy, uh, you know, similar jokes to their friends, or maybe their friends said they could use the jokes for that day.
- 9:53SPEAKER_00: I've heard that that's a thing.
- 9:55SPEAKER_00: The people are like, hey, I know you're doing a one-liner, take my one-liners.
- 9:58SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I like that.
- 10:01SPEAKER_00: You know, I don't know if I like that.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: The whole uh, oh yeah, you're my buddy, take my one-liner.
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: I don't know about that.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 10:08SPEAKER_00: I feel like you should have to write it yourself, you should have to perform it yourself, and and all that.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: I don't know about the giving people uh giving people jokes to do.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: If you if you help someone with a joke, I think that's one thing.
- 10:25SPEAKER_00: If you give somebody one of your jokes that you perform, and they didn't have any hand in writing it, I think that's different.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: But who knows?
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: Who who freaking cares?
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: We just gotta be funny.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: That's what we gotta do.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: We gotta be funny.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: Let's put on a show for the people.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: Put on a show for the people.
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: So that's exciting.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Uh, some things in the news.
- 10:44SPEAKER_00: Uh, I know you guys love talking about the friggin' news.
- 10:47SPEAKER_00: That sucks, right?
- 10:48SPEAKER_00: The news is trash.
- 10:50SPEAKER_00: Uh there was uh a woman.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: I don't know if I talked about this on another pod.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: If I did, whatever.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Screw it, doing it again.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: But this story keeps getting me.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: There was a woman that stabbed her wife, her wife, a woman stabbed her wife to death, and now she's going to prison for life.
- 11:14SPEAKER_00: Seems fair, right?
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: Seems like a pretty cut and dry, no pun intended, cut and dry case.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: Shut and close, cut and dry, let's go.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: But wait, the plot freaking thickens.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: This woman had gotten out of prison from a previous conviction before she met and was married to her wife.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: She had gotten out of prison for murdering her husband.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: Her husband.
- 11:56SPEAKER_00: She went to prison for killing her husband, then got out, married a woman, and then killed her wife.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: So now she's got one of each.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: You know, from from from the the genders that God made, she's got one of each.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And now she's going to prison for life.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: First of all, the fact that she didn't go to prison for life for killing her husband is hilarious.
- 12:23SPEAKER_00: And then it took a woman, it took killing a woman to go to prison for life.
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: That's funny.
- 12:27SPEAKER_00: But besides that, the trans community is so happy because they were up next.
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 12:32SPEAKER_00: The they them community were up next.
- 12:35SPEAKER_00: You were the only other option.
- 12:37SPEAKER_00: She was coming for you next.
- 12:40SPEAKER_00: But luckily, she's going to prison for life now.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Luckily.
- 12:44SPEAKER_00: So if there's any transgenders or the people that identify as they them in in in that prison, you better watch out! She's.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: She's coming to town! You better watch out! You better! Please, yeah, you better watch out.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: I was gonna sing a Christmas song about people getting killed, but that doesn't seem sensitive.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: That doesn't seem sensitive.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so you gotta watch out for this woman.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: I think once you kill two people, it's like, yeah, you're probably gonna kill someone again.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: So we should probably put you in there.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: After you kill one person, I'm like, I don't know.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Do you do that?
- 13:21SPEAKER_00: Fick.
- 13:22SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 13:24SPEAKER_00: Life is so fictitio so fickle.
- 13:27SPEAKER_00: Life is so fickle.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: I was gonna say fictitious.
- 13:29SPEAKER_00: Life is not is life fictitious?
- 13:31SPEAKER_00: What is fictitious?
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: Is fictitious like fake?
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: Like fiction?
- 13:36SPEAKER_00: Fictitious?
- 13:37SPEAKER_00: Life isn't fake.
- 13:38SPEAKER_00: But a lot of people are fake.
- 13:42SPEAKER_00: Does that count?
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: Does that count as life being fake?
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: If a lot of people are fake?
- 13:46SPEAKER_00: There's a lot of fake people, for sure.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: A lot of fakies out there.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: You know, you know what I used to do?
- 13:53SPEAKER_00: Speaking of fakies, I used to I used to be a fakie.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Uh when I was younger, uh I was I was pretty good at video games, at like shooter games like Halo and Call of Duty, and I used to make profiles that were the names of like pro players that people would recognize when you go into the high-level ranked lobbies, and because I was the highest ranked there was, people would just think I'm that person, and then I would play and I would freaking destroy them, and they'd play totally different because they get nervous.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: It it'd be like if you went on the basketball court and then you realized you were playing against LeBron James.
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: You'd be like, you play totally different, you'd be nervous in a totally different way than if you were just playing pickup ball at the at the court.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: So I'd be playing, and it'd be like, oh, I'm I'm this pro player that's one of the best players in the world, and everybody sees my name and they're like, Oh, are you kidding me?
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: I'm in a game with this guy?
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: Are you serious?
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: And then it changes the way the whole game plays.
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: For me, it was a strategy to win games because it makes people lose their head.
- 15:00SPEAKER_00: They'll chase after you because they want to kill you so bad, because they want to take a picture where it says that they killed whatever pro player that was, but it was never the pro player.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: There's so many people in this world today that think that they had maybe a good game or that they played with or against pro players, and they had no idea it was me.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: You guys, I'm brave for saying that.
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: That was a very vulnerable thing for me to say.
- 15:25SPEAKER_00: I'm brave.
- 15:26SPEAKER_00: I'm brave! I'm so brave! Tell me how brave I am! You're brave! You're brave! Thank you.
- 15:40SPEAKER_00: I am so brave.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Thank you for that.
- 15:45SPEAKER_00: So that was such a weird thing to say.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: That's such a weird thing to say.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: Um, I was working on some some new jokes, uh, or new premises, I should say.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: New premises.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: Alright, here's a new one.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: This was actually from yesterday from the wedding.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: Uh, I was given the packet that includes the uh wedding uh license and the application information, and it had a few other papers inside of it that I thought were very curious to give to a newlywed couple.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: So one of the papers inside of it is HIV AIDS Hotline.
- 16:27SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, huh, that's interesting.
- 16:31SPEAKER_00: And then the other one is domestic abuse violence hotline.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh, wow! And they include these papers with your marriage license.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, what the frick?
- 16:48SPEAKER_00: Who's this for?
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: And then also they had a promo, hey, if you want to get married at the 14th Street Chapel, we'll get you a good deal.
- 16:56SPEAKER_00: So it's like, hey, don't beat your wife or you'll get in trouble, okay?
- 17:00SPEAKER_00: Let us know if you have AIDS.
- 17:03SPEAKER_00: And if you're interested in getting married at this place, we got you.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: We know a guy.
- 17:08SPEAKER_00: That's pretty much what it was.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Which is pretty crazy, but I mean, that's just what that's just the truth.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: That's just what happened.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: That's just what happened.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: Uh, what other premises have I thought of?
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: Man, I gotta have to look back at my phone.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: I'm not really supposed to look at my phone when I'm driving.
- 17:34SPEAKER_00: Uh, I added a new tag onto the Paul Walker joke.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: Uh that he drift wrapped himself.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: Drift wrapped?
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: Drift wrapped.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: I think drift wrapped is hilarious.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: I think drift wrapped is so funny.
- 17:52SPEAKER_00: Uh I might have missed I might have mentioned this one before, but the the iPhone 18.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know, uh how iPhone is finally 18 and can finally enter the pornographic websites that everybody's forcing it to go into.
- 18:09SPEAKER_00: I think that part that part's funny too.
- 18:11SPEAKER_00: The iPhone is finally 18.
- 18:13SPEAKER_00: iPhone can gamble now, iPhone can get a license.
- 18:19SPEAKER_00: What else did I put on here?
- 18:22SPEAKER_00: Um I have a paper somewhere that where I wrote down like it was like four new premises that I wanted to talk about on the pod, and now I can't seem to find it.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: What I don't know what happened to that.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: I thought maybe it was in my notes and my phone, but I looked at my at my joke page and I didn't see those premises there.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: And I thought I wrote it down with a pen.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: So that would be in my notebook right here, but I don't see it, so I don't know where I wrote it down.
- 19:00SPEAKER_00: Because I was gonna go over the premises! The premises! Well, well, frick! That's not gonna happen.
- 19:15SPEAKER_00: Um we tell you about my uh Pachanga shows.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: I don't I don't think I mentioned that on the last pod.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Maybe I did, I don't remember.
- 19:23SPEAKER_00: Pachanga.
- 19:24SPEAKER_00: Uh they were super fun.
- 19:26SPEAKER_00: I did five shows.
- 19:27SPEAKER_00: Shout out Rocky Osborne for putting me on the shows, for being the host and opener, comedian at Pachanga.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: It was a it was a pleasure.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: It was great.
- 19:37SPEAKER_00: All of the shows were good.
- 19:41SPEAKER_00: Two of the shows were great, and one of those two was exceptional.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: We had the Saturday 7 p.m.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: show almost sold out, or or sold out.
- 19:51SPEAKER_00: I don't know exactly.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: I think it was sold out.
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: It's like a hundred plus people.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: It was so fun.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: I mean, they were so down to laugh.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: They they were so down to just for anything, you know.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: At the start, I was like, you know, this side get loud and this side get loud and this side get loud, and oh who's louder?
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: And then I'm like, fight each other, you know, freaking go and attack each other, you minions.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Um and so, yeah, it was it was fun.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: They were definitely down to have fun.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: There was this guy there, this old guy, we called him Black Father Time, um, because he was black and he had this giant gray beard and he was bald, and his name was Oscar Meyer, like the wiener, and so he used to he said he used to get made fun of all the time in high school because his name was Oscar Meyer.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Like the wiener guy.
- 20:46SPEAKER_00: So he was known as Oscar the Wiener guy.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: So that's freaking funny.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Um of the old people were kind of making me angry the way that they were responding to some of my jokes, and so I told them I told them that um that they're not humane because when they were younger they used to use hangers to you to do abortions.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: And that really got them going, let me tell you.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: That really got them going.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: And it's true, because that first of all, it's a sick fact to know, but it's true.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: And um I was just over it.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: I was just over it.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: You know, sometimes this generation looks at you, right?
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: When you're a performer, and and they say, like, old comedy used to be better.
- 21:37SPEAKER_00: I grew up in the days of Rodney Dangerfield.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: I grew up in the days of these one liner comics or or hack stuff, whatever.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: And they look at you when you're doing a story and they're like, This ain't funny.
- 21:53SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, you can just listen for a second?
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: I'm getting there.
- 21:56SPEAKER_00: I I'm not doing an I'm not doing a three minute setup.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Just listen for a minute.
- 22:02SPEAKER_00: Just listen.
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 22:03SPEAKER_00: I'm aware that the longer it takes for me to get to my punch lines, the lower my last per minute goes down.
- 22:09SPEAKER_00: Trust me, I'm doing it for a reason.
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Just trust.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: Come on this journey with me.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: It's okay.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: Get in the boat.
- 22:16SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be okay.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: Let's take this journey together.
- 22:20SPEAKER_00: Let's take this journey together.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: We're gonna be okay.
- 22:23SPEAKER_00: We're gonna survive.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, we'll survive! By the way, last night I went absolutely freaking nuts on the dance floor.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: They were playing all the bangers.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: They were like, Starships were meant to fly.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: And it was in the 24k of magic.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: You know, it was.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Sorry, random thought.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, that got crazy.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: Um, a couple other things that I'm very excited about.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: Uh, this next year, you know, you guys have been seeing me in sh doing shows in small clubs, you've been seeing me doing shows at bars, at breweries.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: But now, you are gonna see this next year some I.e.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: comedy shows in theaters.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: Yes, that's correct.
- 23:11SPEAKER_00: In theaters, you're gonna see some I.E.
- 23:15SPEAKER_00: comedy shows.
- 23:16SPEAKER_00: There's multiple theaters in the inland empire in Riverside and San Bernardino County that are interested in doing comedy shows, and I am so excited to be able to do some of that this next year.
- 23:31SPEAKER_00: So be on the lookout for that stuff.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: If you got if you got some hot minutes to give for the shows, reach out to me and let me know.
- 23:39SPEAKER_00: They aren't fully booked yet, but they will be booked soon.
- 23:43SPEAKER_00: And if you listen to the pod, you would know that.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: And if you don't listen to the pod, you wouldn't know that, and then you wouldn't get an opportunity to throw your name in the hat for that.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: But that's yes, so you gotta listen to the pod.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: You gotta listen to it all the way through.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're not gonna say that at the beginning, because then some people might not listen.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: Gotta say it at the end.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: You gotta keep them wanting.
- 24:08SPEAKER_00: Yes, I love that.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: Oh my goodness.
- 24:14SPEAKER_00: Uh, the weather's changing.
- 24:15SPEAKER_00: It's 77 degrees right now with a light breeze.
- 24:18SPEAKER_00: It feels beautiful, it feels wonderful.
- 24:23SPEAKER_00: And dare I say, if I may, if I may, dare I say, fall weather is here, ladies and gentlemen.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: Fall weather is here, and I hope it's here to stay.
- 24:35SPEAKER_00: I love the cold, I love the the the the the winter breeze.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: I love going up to the mountains to the snow.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: I was talking to my kids about this that this year we need to go sledding.
- 24:49SPEAKER_00: I've never taken them sledding.
- 24:51SPEAKER_00: Okay, usually if we go to the snow, which is not often because my wife doesn't do super well in the snow, but she's gotta get over it.
- 24:58SPEAKER_00: We we do snowball fights and we play in the snow, we do snow angels and we do things like that, right?
- 25:04SPEAKER_00: I want to do sledding specifically.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: I want to take my kids in a sled down the side of a hill, and I want to just zoom.
- 25:14SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm saying?
- 25:15SPEAKER_00: Imagine me, all 300 pounds of me zooming down a sled.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: What could go what could go wrong?
- 25:22SPEAKER_00: You know what could possibly happen that would be dangerous?
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: What could possibly happen?
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: Do you guys ever like not I wouldn't say daydream is necessarily the right word, maybe it is.
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Do you guys ever like think about a situation like because I just visualized myself going down a hill and I like felt the like jolt of like first sliding down the hill and realizing that like it's going super fast and I can't I can't stop it.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: I just have to I just have to hold on.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: That actually just scared that just scared me a little bit.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: It scared me a little bit.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: I don't know why in my mind it was like the biggest mountain.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not talking about the biggest mountain, I'm talking about like a little hill or something.
- 26:09SPEAKER_00: Something that would be fun to just slide down.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: I'm not talking about like a big mountain.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: I don't know why my mind is like, oh, let's take you up to the to the tallest part of the highest peak in the in the mountains near you, and then and then that's where you'll go sledding.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: No, that's not that's not that's not a thing.
- 26:27SPEAKER_00: That's not what I mean.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: I'm talking about going to a little thing with a little thing, and then you get on the thing, and you go down the thing, and it's just a little thing, and then everybody's good.
- 26:36SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: You got that?
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: That's what I was talking about.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: Uh also we just got our Costco membership back.
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Shout out us.
- 26:45SPEAKER_00: We're gold star members.
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: But all gold star really means is that you're just like the poor Costco member because we're not executives, you know?
- 26:57SPEAKER_00: That just means we're poor, I guess.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: Like, I think it's crazy because like there's some people that'll go there, right, and they're buying washers, they're buying dryers, they're buying TVs, they're buying stinking uh a couch, they're buying a jacuzzi, they're buying a new bed, they're buying groceries, they're buying Christmas presents, they're buying an arcade machine, they're getting their glasses there, they get all this stuff there, and then it's great for the executive membership, but you know what?
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: I don't have that much money to spend, so I feel like a gold star membership's just better for what I'm looking at right now, if I'm being honest with you.
- 27:32SPEAKER_00: If I'm being honest with you, I feel like it's just better for what I got going on right now.
- 27:38SPEAKER_00: You know?
- 27:39SPEAKER_00: That's all.
- 27:40SPEAKER_00: That's all.
- 27:41SPEAKER_00: It's nothing crazy.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: That's all.
- 27:43SPEAKER_00: Uh speaking of crazy, uh friggin' how many people are at this freaking courthouse?
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: What the frick?
- 27:53SPEAKER_00: It's like a million people here.
- 27:56SPEAKER_00: Let me ask.
- 28:00SPEAKER_00: Let me ask here, what's going on?
- 28:01SPEAKER_00: You guys are coming with me.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: It's a journey, it's a journey.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: No.
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: Just looking for a parker for the sister's office.
- 28:11SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: Over here?
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Over here.
- 28:22SPEAKER_00: Thank you so much.
- 28:23SPEAKER_00: Appreciate it.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: Alright, well, I guess we found out where we're parking.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Holla.
- 28:31SPEAKER_00: Holla.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah.
- 28:35SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna be wrapping this up right now.
- 28:38SPEAKER_00: Uh looks like I'm gonna be getting out into what only looks like I don't know, sewer water?
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: What the frick?
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: Um 19.5 is gonna come out on Sunday.
- 28:51SPEAKER_00: It's gonna come out on Sunday.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be the recap from the San Diego weekend.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: Super excited to be out there with the homie Ed Selwyn.
- 28:58SPEAKER_00: Super excited to be out there uh to do the headlining, to do these other gigs.
- 29:02SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be really cool.
- 29:03SPEAKER_00: Also gonna be working quite a bit.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: Last weekend doing DoorDash.
- 29:06SPEAKER_00: Woo! Last weekend.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: Excuse me, doing a stupid DoorDash.
- 29:16SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: Why can't I breathe?
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: I can't breathe.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: Man.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: I get some crazy burps sometimes and I can't breathe.
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: That's that's what it is.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: TMI! They're like, I'm not gonna listen to the last 30 seconds, he's talking about stupid stuff.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, fine.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, you know what's so funny too?
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: Uh, Costco, when I used to do Instacart, Costco would have like the best orders ever.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: And when I switched to DoorDash, one thing I missed was that they didn't have Costco orders because they were so good and they would pay very well.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: And then now that I'm leaving DoorDash and I got a real job, they announced yesterday that they have Costco again.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, frick you, DoorDash! Alright, you guys, thank you so much for listening to the episode.
- 29:58SPEAKER_00: This is episode 19.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: My name is Steve Thompson.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Alright, I'll see ya.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Goodbye.
