- 0:13Speaker 1: So last week we talked about you fusing together you
- 0:16Speaker 1: mentioned confidence and fundamentals and how do you how do
- 0:19Speaker 1: you feel that you uh you did accomplishing that.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I think i think i did fairly well this week
- 0:24Speaker 2: um especially in the past game you know making sure
- 0:27Speaker 2: i'm square and definitely working on uh whenever i'm in
- 0:31Speaker 2: slide pro or man pro just you know.
- 0:33Speaker 3: I go taking up the b gap so the.
- 0:35Speaker 2: So my tackle doesn't get picked off i feel like
- 0:36Speaker 2: i did a good job this week uh just being
- 0:38Speaker 2: at a point of emphasis and like applying it to
- 0:41Speaker 2: my game obviously not just laying back off and creating
- 0:44Speaker 2: uh mismatch pretty i guess off levels between myself and
- 0:47Speaker 2: my tackle just closing the b gap being able to
- 0:49Speaker 2: pass off twists and that comes with like i like
- 0:51Speaker 2: you said the uh the confidence and putting the fundamentals
- 0:53Speaker 2: together just knowing i can take up the b gap
- 0:55Speaker 2: and then even on slides i can definitely you know
- 0:57Speaker 2: be confident with it because i have my center coming
- 0:59Speaker 2: with me if they do do a stunt when he
- 1:00Speaker 2: goes inside of.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Me For you personally, what factors do you look for
- 1:08Speaker 1: at the end of the week to suggest that you
- 1:09Speaker 1: had a good week of practice?
- 1:13Speaker 3: Well, I like to think of.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Whatever I started off with in the week, and I
- 1:18Speaker 2: try to look at it from a, I guess, third-person perspective,
- 1:21Speaker 2: from a bird's-eye view, not knowing what I was, not
- 1:24Speaker 2: worrying about what I was thinking during that play or
- 1:26Speaker 2: how I was feeling during that play, just what it
- 1:27Speaker 2: overall looked like.
- 1:28Speaker 3: How did it look on film?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Not if it was the last play of a 12-play rack.
- 1:33Speaker 2: How did it look as a film and grade it
- 1:35Speaker 2: as a whole? And if it looked, except if it
- 1:37Speaker 2: looked good, like a person was confident, knew what they
- 1:38Speaker 2: were doing, then I'd say that was a good rep
- 1:41Speaker 2: or a good rack. Even if I was exhausted and
- 1:43Speaker 2: looked bad, that was a bad rep.
- 1:44Speaker 3: It doesn't matter.
- 1:46Speaker 1: How about the independent hand striking? We spoke about that
- 1:48Speaker 1: last week. You said that you had really been focusing
- 1:51Speaker 1: on it, particularly for one week.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:53Speaker 4: How's that going?
- 1:54Speaker 3: It's going very well.
- 1:55Speaker 2: That was more so like the phone booth situations in
- 1:58Speaker 2: the past game, and then the one-on-one, two-on-two reps during
- 2:03Speaker 2: the skill players doing seven-on-seven, the all-line D-line does one-on-one.
- 2:07Speaker 3: So I feel like that helped me out well this week.
- 2:09Speaker 2: And then Additionally, with the independent hand strike, it keeps
- 2:14Speaker 2: me square, keeps.
- 2:15Speaker 3: My base ready.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Also, it makes me want to keep my feet hot
- 2:17Speaker 2: because I'm throwing this one independently, not just striking both,
- 2:21Speaker 2: which could lead me to lunge and.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Keep my feet still.
- 2:24Speaker 2: The independent hand strike keeps my feet moving, so overall
- 2:26Speaker 2: it just helps my game.
- 2:27Speaker 5: I know you're a big weight room guy.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You talk about the Platinum Club at Georgia.
- 2:30Speaker 4: Do you have a structured plan.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Here with the Eagles, or is there anything that you
- 2:34Speaker 1: do outside of that, like on your own?
- 2:37Speaker 3: In my apartment, I mean, I do extra cardio.
- 2:39Speaker 2: But as far as weightlifting, I try to stick around
- 2:42Speaker 2: with Jordan Mulata. His program is good, I'll tell you
- 2:46Speaker 2: that much.
- 2:47Speaker 3: I just stick out with him, work out with him.
- 2:50Speaker 3: I trust him completely.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Thing in particular that you that you focus on like
- 2:57Speaker 1: something that you're looking to enhance or you mentioned cardio.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Uh cardio and uh mobility slash flexibility i say uh
- 3:05Speaker 2: just obviously in the trenches you know you can always
- 3:07Speaker 2: be more flexible um and then you know i guess
- 3:12Speaker 2: squat lower body i mean just you know getting as
- 3:14Speaker 2: strong as i can while still uh you know continuing
- 3:17Speaker 2: to i guess improve my flexibility because whenever i was
- 3:20Speaker 2: home like I guess, what's that?
- 3:24Speaker 3: Pre or post-OTS, I don't know if we got that
- 3:25Speaker 3: little break before this. Yeah, after OTS, yeah. Then I
- 3:28Speaker 3: went home, I was.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Doing yoga like two, three times a day, just trying
- 3:31Speaker 2: to work my flexibility, do different things. Then I made
- 3:34Speaker 2: the mistake of starting to go to Pilates and... I'm like,
- 3:37Speaker 2: I don't understand how a plank is a resting position,
- 3:39Speaker 2: but that's beyond me.
- 3:41Speaker 3: But yeah, so it was good. I got some good
- 3:43Speaker 3: work out there.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I've been just trying to find ways to ease it
- 3:46Speaker 2: in and just not necessarily do it three times a day, obviously,
- 3:49Speaker 2: but just do it periodically just to stay loose and
- 3:51Speaker 2: stay nimble.
- 3:52Speaker 1: So that post-period after OTAs, was that the first time
- 3:55Speaker 1: you experimented with yoga?
- 3:56Speaker 3: Consistently, yeah.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I mean, we would do it at Georgia during the
- 3:59Speaker 2: season on Fridays. It was just once a week, but constantly,
- 4:01Speaker 2: like daily, I would.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Be doing it.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Yeah, that was my first time.
- 4:04Speaker 4: What's the hardest part? I've never done it before.
- 4:06Speaker 3: But everyone tells me I need to try it.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I think overall bar yoga is the hardest in my
- 4:12Speaker 2: opinion just because of the intensity and it's free weights
- 4:16Speaker 2: and moving and stuff and a lot of core stability.
- 4:19Speaker 2: And then mat pilates I think is hard too just
- 4:22Speaker 2: because literally as a bigger guy, I.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Don't see how they are not tired.
- 4:29Speaker 2: It's mostly a lot of ladies in there. And they're, like,
- 4:33Speaker 2: talking and have full conversations while they're in a plank.
- 4:35Speaker 2: And there's, like, a pool of sweat around me. I'm
- 4:36Speaker 2: fighting for my life out there. And they're just, like,
- 4:38Speaker 2: talking and asking me questions. I'm like, I cannot talk
- 4:41Speaker 2: right now.
- 4:41Speaker 3: But, no, it's fun.
- 4:42Speaker 6: It's good.
- 4:42Speaker 3: I got to meet people in the community. So it's cool.
- 4:44Speaker 4: I imagine the more you do it, the better.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. At first, those arms are
- 4:48Speaker 3: going to be shaking up. It was good though. That's
- 4:51Speaker 3: a good forewarning. So when I try.
- 4:52Speaker 4: You mentioned your apartment complex. I know you moved in there.
- 4:56Speaker 4: I think you told me a month ago. How's everything there?
- 4:58Speaker 3: It's good. Everything's good. The air fryer came in yesterday.
- 5:01Speaker 3: So I have everything now. So it's all set up.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I have not got to a new Lego set yet.
- 5:07Speaker 3: I'll probably do that tomorrow after practice. Honestly. When are
- 5:13Speaker 3: you dropping this? Tomorrow, yeah, tomorrow night.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Okay, well, my parents are coming tomorrow, and I have
- 5:21Speaker 2: a surprise for my dad, but.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I won't say it yet.
- 5:25Speaker 4: I'm glad you said it.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I got a surprise for him.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Tell me next week.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll tell you next week.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I'll probably make a Lego set and get my parents
- 5:34Speaker 2: married for it tomorrow.

- 7:10Speaker 6: It could be 30 degrees and I'll be out there
- 7:12Speaker 6: grilling burgers and steaks. But the one thing that I
- 7:15Speaker 6: really can't stand is losing my fish and my veggies
- 7:18Speaker 6: because they just can't grill without falling through. That's why
- 7:22Speaker 6: I've been using Hexclad's BBQ Collection. It's bringing hybrid technology
- 7:27Speaker 6: together Outdoors with products specifically designed to make grilling easier,
- 7:31Speaker 6: especially when you're cooking foods that normally don't cooperate on
- 7:35Speaker 6: a traditional grill. The hex clad BBQ grill plan combines
- 7:39Speaker 6: the searing power of stainless steel, durability of cast iron
- 7:43Speaker 6: and the convenience of nonstick all in one.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Versatile grill pan.
- 7:47Speaker 6: They've also launched their new BBQ grill topper that gives
- 7:50Speaker 6: you even more control when you're cooking food. delicate foods
- 7:53Speaker 6: like veggies or seafood, or if you're cooking multiple portions.
- 7:56Speaker 5: At one time.
- 7:57Speaker 6: Last week, I grilled the best surf and turf my style,
- 8:01Speaker 6: which is salmon and ribs and lost none of it
- 8:04Speaker 6: because I used Hexclad's BBQ collection. With over 1 million
- 8:08Speaker 6: customers and more than 50,000 five-star reviews, it's clear people

- 8:49Speaker 1: In the past, you mentioned that in the offensive line
- 8:51Speaker 1: meeting rooms, you, the rookie, sit in the front, but
- 8:54Speaker 1: you also have to tell a joke.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:56Speaker 4: What was the one that you told?
- 8:58Speaker 3: Oh, I can't say any of your jokes. No, no. No, no, no.
- 9:02Speaker 4: I wasn't sure if you could.
- 9:03Speaker 3: No, no, no. I'm not allowed to say any jokes.
- 9:06Speaker 3: That's an in-house thing.
- 9:08Speaker 4: Do you create your own? How do you come up
- 9:10Speaker 4: with them? Do you watch stand-up?
- 9:12Speaker 3: I watch stand-up or look it up online.
- 9:16Speaker 4: You had your cousins that came to town.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Yep.
- 9:18Speaker 4: And did you get to Angelo's?
- 9:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. I got to Angelo's. I took them
- 9:22Speaker 3: to Angelo's.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I got the upside-down pizza for everybody, and then they
- 9:25Speaker 2: each got their own Philly cheesesteak. And my cousin Cal
- 9:30Speaker 2: got one with.
- 9:30Speaker 3: The long hots.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Oh, that's what I do.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't like that hot stuff like that.
- 9:34Speaker 4: Oh, well, you said your dad does.
- 9:35Speaker 3: Yeah, my dad does. He loves them. But, yeah, it
- 9:38Speaker 3: was good.
- 9:38Speaker 1: That's how I do it, cheesesteak with long hots and
- 9:41Speaker 1: Cooper Sharp cheese.
- 9:42Speaker 3: And then we went to Penrose Diner. I went there yesterday.
- 9:46Speaker 3: It was good. It was good.
- 9:47Speaker 4: I went there after, you know, before practice.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Okay. Okay. I got you. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 9:52Speaker 4: What'd you get?
- 9:52Speaker 3: I just got the omelet with all the meat in it.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I just got a meatloaf omelet. It was chill.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I had a nice five egg omelet.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Ooh.
- 10:00Speaker 4: I know that was a kid.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I know that was a kid.
- 10:02Speaker 4: Dude, I almost fell asleep.
- 10:03Speaker 3: You got that itis.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Yeah, you definitely do.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Going back to just the meeting room, who would you
- 10:10Speaker 1: say is the funniest, who provides.
- 10:12Speaker 4: A lot of levity in your O-line?
- 10:14Speaker 3: Jordan Malata, for sure. But I feel like that's just.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Ben being a leader, you know, I mean, he never
- 10:21Speaker 2: lets the lows get too low.
- 10:23Speaker 3: If he has a crash joke, he can sense the room.
- 10:25Speaker 3: He can read the room.
- 10:25Speaker 2: He's been there for a very long time and obviously
- 10:27Speaker 2: understands the team and the players. And he takes the
- 10:30Speaker 2: time to learn everybody from the people who's been there
- 10:34Speaker 2: just as long as him to. Markel and I, rookies,
- 10:39Speaker 2: so he definitely knows how to read the room, read
- 10:40Speaker 2: the players, and even make sure everybody's afloat. So anytime
- 10:43Speaker 2: there's tension or anything like that or a rough day
- 10:45Speaker 2: or a rough week, he knows how to keep the
- 10:48Speaker 2: O-line room smooth.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And have you switched from the notebooks to the tablet yet?
- 10:52Speaker 1: I know you mentioned that you went through four of them.
- 10:55Speaker 2: No, I still got three more pages left, but this
- 10:58Speaker 2: is the last week.
- 10:59Speaker 3: It's a goner, so I'm going back to the tablet now.
- 11:03Speaker 1: I was thinking back to something that we talked about
- 11:04Speaker 1: a few weeks ago, Del Frisco's. You mentioned that you
- 11:07Speaker 1: went there. Well, have you gone to Fogo do Chão,
- 11:10Speaker 1: a Brazilian steakhouse?
- 11:11Speaker 2: No, I was watching the Sixers game, and I saw
- 11:13Speaker 2: an ad for it, and I didn't know there was
- 11:15Speaker 2: one here. in Jacksonville, Florida, which is 30 minutes from
- 11:18Speaker 2: where I grew up at, Camden. And I used to
- 11:20Speaker 2: go there for, like, I guess, like, Sundays at the
- 11:22Speaker 2: church or something or, like, birthdays. That's where I would go, like,
- 11:25Speaker 2: once I got older.
- 11:25Speaker 3: I didn't know there was one here. So I saw
- 11:27Speaker 3: that I was going to have to go. Yeah, I
- 11:28Speaker 3: didn't know there was one here.
- 11:29Speaker 4: Yeah, there's one in Philly, and then there's one in
- 11:30Speaker 4: King of Prussia right by the mall.
- 11:32Speaker 3: Yeah, KOP.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I went to KOP for the first time, I think,
- 11:36Speaker 2: Last week or the week.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Before, it was smooth.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I went to the FOGO and KOP last Saturday.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Was it good? I know, it was amazing.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I went there solo, sat there for like 90 minutes
- 11:45Speaker 1: just to show it.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Just getting to it, yeah.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Any Costco runs?
- 11:50Speaker 3: No, not yet. Not yet.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Well, you mentioned that you went there before and you
- 11:53Speaker 1: got like some, was it brisket?
- 11:55Speaker 4: And you did grilling?
- 11:56Speaker 2: No, the big, they sell like these big pieces, like
- 12:01Speaker 2: slabs of steak. And it's like, I don't know how
- 12:04Speaker 2: they do it. I think it's like 80 bucks or something.
- 12:06Speaker 2: I swear you can get like.
- 12:08Speaker 3: 12 pieces of steak.
- 12:09Speaker 4: That's good value.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it's good. That's really good value. That's the
- 12:12Speaker 3: last time I went, though, yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 1: When you were growing up, was there a particular offensive
- 12:16Speaker 1: lineman that you were emulating, one or two?
- 12:19Speaker 2: Orlando Pace, for sure, and then David DiCatro.
- 12:24Speaker 1: David DeCastro is an interesting one. He comes up a
- 12:26Speaker 1: little bit. What particularly gravitated you to his game?
- 12:29Speaker 3: His consistency and his frame and the way he worked.
- 12:33Speaker 2: It just popped up on the screen to me. Then
- 12:35Speaker 2: the older I got, obviously the Quinn and Nelson's came
- 12:38Speaker 2: into play.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Then Trent Boyd is.
- 12:40Speaker 2: More closer to me. As a kid growing up, I
- 12:43Speaker 2: would say Orlando Pace and then David DeCastro.
- 12:46Speaker 4: I know you're a movie guy.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Yes, sir.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Have you ever seen Rocky?
- 12:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen Rocky. You have?
- 12:51Speaker 2: And I saw the preview for the.
- 12:53Speaker 3: The new one. The new one, I Am Rocky. Yeah,
- 12:55Speaker 3: I Am. Yeah.
- 12:56Speaker 4: That comes out in, like, November?
- 12:58Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. All right, well, okay.
- 12:59Speaker 4: So how would you rank the first five?
- 13:03Speaker 3: Do you know? Have you seen? I've seen all of them.
- 13:05Speaker 3: I can't tell you. Whenever he beat Drago, that's number
- 13:08Speaker 3: one for me.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, that's my favorite.
- 13:10Speaker 3: That's the best one. That's number one for me.
- 13:12Speaker 4: The one with Mr. T is pretty good, too.
- 13:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I put that one... I think I put that one.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I think I would probably put Rocky 2 at number two.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Which one? Was Rocky 2 Drago?
- 13:23Speaker 1: No, Rocky 4 was Drago.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Okay, I have Rocky 4 number one. Then I will
- 13:27Speaker 2: put Rocky 2, Rocky 2, 3, and the last two
- 13:33Speaker 2: can fall as they may.
- 13:34Speaker 3: That's what I'll do.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Have you been to the art museum steps yet where
- 13:37Speaker 1: you ran up?
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yes, I have. I went the first Sunday of.
- 13:42Speaker 2: I guess two months ago when it was uh on
- 13:45Speaker 2: the first Sunday they do like you pay whatever to
- 13:47Speaker 2: go in yeah yeah so I went for that what
- 13:49Speaker 2: you think it was it was cool it was actually
- 13:51Speaker 2: pretty cool yeah I enjoyed like I never been to
- 13:52Speaker 2: something like that so it was pretty cool and it
- 13:54Speaker 2: was relaxing and it was I was surprised about the
- 13:56Speaker 2: kids that was there it was good to see like
- 13:58Speaker 2: kids still.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Go see art and stuff so yeah there's a.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Lot there's the historic district I got a good idea
- 14:05Speaker 1: that's a cool spot just to walk around yeah they
- 14:07Speaker 1: got a lot of good food spots there as well
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'll have to try some I'll have to try some
- 14:10Speaker 1: so I mentioned Clayface do you have any movies that are.
- 14:13Speaker 2: On your radar I'm gonna go see Clayface I saw
- 14:16Speaker 2: Street Fighter last week I saw it I thought it
- 14:18Speaker 2: was good I thought it was good it was funny
- 14:20Speaker 2: it was entertaining yeah for sure it lost me a
- 14:22Speaker 2: little bit in some spots but yeah some of the
- 14:24Speaker 2: the plot could have been a little better but I'm
- 14:26Speaker 2: glad I'm glad it ended so it'll be a second.
- 14:29Speaker 1: One yeah there's definitely gonna be a second one um
- 14:32Speaker 1: So one of your draft mates in this draft class, Keyshawn,
- 14:38Speaker 1: played 48 snaps last week. There's probably a lot of
- 14:41Speaker 1: people that don't know a lot about him. What should
- 14:42Speaker 1: someone know about Keyshawn? I'm sure you get to see
- 14:45Speaker 1: a lot in practice.
- 14:46Speaker 3: He's a hard worker.
- 14:47Speaker 2: He has a great motor, and you know you're going
- 14:50Speaker 2: to get.
- 14:50Speaker 3: 100% of him everywhere.
- 14:52Speaker 2: There's no slack or no letoff of him during practice
- 14:54Speaker 2: at all.
- 14:55Speaker 3: He's constantly going, and he's good. A hard worker. He
- 14:59Speaker 3: worked his way up. Like you were saying, 48 snaps.
- 15:01Speaker 3: That's amazing. So he's a hard worker and he's definitely
- 15:04Speaker 3: going to be a big contributor to this team.
- 15:06Speaker 1: So outside of the football realm, it's kind of an
- 15:08Speaker 1: interesting question. If you could meet one celebrity, artist, movie
- 15:13Speaker 1: actor or anything like that, who would it be and why?
- 15:16Speaker 6: LeBron.
- 15:17Speaker 3: He's the GOAT.
- 15:19Speaker 4: I thought you were going to say Lil Wayne.
- 15:20Speaker 2: No, he'd be number two, but LeBron's the GOAT.
- 15:23Speaker 3: I don't know, man. It's like... I don't know.
- 15:27Speaker 2: When I was a kid, man, if he ever lost,
- 15:29Speaker 2: I would cry. Like, Ron's the GOAT, man.
- 15:32Speaker 3: He's just the GOAT. He's the GOAT. Came in from pre-1.
- 15:35Speaker 3: He's the GOAT.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Hopefully you'll get a chance to meet him this season
- 15:38Speaker 1: or something.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Hopefully. It'll be a dream come true.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Get out to a game or something.
- 15:41Speaker 3: I gotta figure something out.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Lastly, just one or two things on or off the
- 15:45Speaker 1: field that you're working to achieve this week.
