Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. Well, the worst vice presidential
- 0:08Speaker 1: candidate ever, has resigned from his governor role in Minnesota.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Tim Walls will have his final waltz of twenty twenty
- 0:19Speaker 1: six in politics, and I really hope he doesn't show
- 0:22Speaker 1: his face again. By the way, this just proves how
- 0:27Speaker 1: awful a pick he was for Kamala Harris. If she
- 0:31Speaker 1: went with Josh Shapiro, the situation and the thing might
- 0:35Speaker 1: have been different in twenty twenty four. That's just my thought.
- 0:38Speaker 1: But Tim Walls saying you will not seek reelection for governor.
- 0:45Speaker 1: And while everybody's stirred up the last couple of months,
- 0:49Speaker 1: Trump's DOJ has been on this since March twenty twenty five.
- 0:56Speaker 1: I don't know where this page came up on my screen,
- 0:59Speaker 1: but it did. March nineteen, twenty twenty five, federal jury
- 1:06Speaker 1: finds feeding our future mastermind and co defended guilty in
- 1:12Speaker 1: two hundred and fifty million dollars pandemic fraud scheme. I
- 1:17Speaker 1: remember folks that were getting money and scamming the government
- 1:20Speaker 1: and doing like five million dollars ended up buying yachts
- 1:23Speaker 1: with it. It's just this was not a surprise to
- 1:26Speaker 1: find this out. But journalism is saying they it's taking
- 1:32Speaker 1: credit for it now. And I mean, Nick Shirley did
- 1:37Speaker 1: a great job and all that. But the Trump DJ
- 1:41Speaker 1: has been on this since March, since March, and apparently
- 1:48Speaker 1: by the time August came around, they had seventy seven,
- 1:53Speaker 1: seventy seven defendants about the team and Tim wallas knew
- 1:58Speaker 1: nothing about it. But I want to read you where
- 2:01Speaker 1: it all started. Minneapolis. Two individuals have been convicted by
- 2:05Speaker 1: a federal jury for their roles in a two hundred
- 2:09Speaker 1: and fifty million dollar fraud scheme exploiting a federally funded
- 2:14Speaker 1: child nutrition program. Acting US Attorney Lisade kir Kirkpatrick announced it.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Writes Amy Bach and Salim said took advantage of the
- 2:27Speaker 1: COVID nineteen pandemic to carry out a massive fraud scheme
- 2:31Speaker 1: that stole money meant to feed the children. Defendants falsely
- 2:36Speaker 1: claimed to have served ninety one million meals, for which
- 2:41Speaker 1: they fraudully and received the only two hundred and fifty
- 2:43Speaker 1: million dollars in federal funds. That money did not go
- 2:46Speaker 1: to feed kids. Instead, it was used to fund their
- 2:50Speaker 1: lavish lifestyles. Today's verdict sends a message to the community
- 2:56Speaker 1: that fraud against the government will not be tolerated Somalian
- 3:02Speaker 1: community or not. This is a bad look for anybody
- 3:07Speaker 1: trying to be for the kids. I mean, everbody's really
- 3:11Speaker 1: meant it about the Somalian government and Somalian population of Minnesota.
- 3:15Speaker 1: And maybe there's merit there because you know, Elanomore is Somalian.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And by the way, I would never say she should
- 3:24Speaker 1: go back to where she came from, or that as
- 3:26Speaker 1: Somalian should never be elected for government. I would never
- 3:29Speaker 1: say that. But can she show some gratitude that she
- 3:34Speaker 1: was able to flee Somalia and make a life here.
- 3:38Speaker 1: She's just an ungrateful you know what. And that's my
- 3:43Speaker 1: problem with her. I don't care that she's Somalian, but
- 3:47Speaker 1: you can't come in this country and trash us and
- 3:50Speaker 1: say some people did something and then expect to win
- 3:54Speaker 1: in Congress and be a congress person. But she is
- 3:58Speaker 1: what did you do with Minnesota? She's not only very
- 4:04Speaker 1: anti American, she really just sounds like a nasty, awful person.
- 4:13Speaker 1: But I can't say Simonlions shouldn't be allowed to run
- 4:17Speaker 1: for office. This is horrible to say. But I will
- 4:21Speaker 1: say maybe the voting communities can do their research on
- 4:25Speaker 1: who they're voting for. Maybe they can do their research
- 4:32Speaker 1: on who they're voting for now. There was questions that
- 4:36Speaker 1: elon Omaro and by the way, this idea of people
- 4:38Speaker 1: going to jail seventy seven co defendants by the time
- 4:43Speaker 1: August rolled around, I didn't know that, did you? And this?
- 4:51Speaker 1: You know, I don't think the Biden DOJ would cover this.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I know they put a bounty on Maduro's head that
- 4:59Speaker 1: no one's talking about, but they wouldn't cover this fraud scheme.
- 5:02Speaker 1: This is why for all the crap, even Pam Bondy's
- 5:06Speaker 1: getting for the Epstein situation, at least they've been focusing
- 5:12Speaker 1: on this right up until January of twenty twenty six,
- 5:21Speaker 1: Amy box Selim said and others took advantage of a
- 5:24Speaker 1: global pandemic to rob food programs aiming at serving those
- 5:28Speaker 1: in need of hundreds of millions of tax paying dollars
- 5:32Speaker 1: during a time when so many people were struggling. Ramsey Covington,
- 5:36Speaker 1: special Agent in charge of the IRS Criminal Investigation Chicago
- 5:41Speaker 1: Field Office, said, and did you see the bizarreness of
- 5:46Speaker 1: the daycares like did they'd show up and no kid
- 5:49Speaker 1: was actually there or did they scrub data? I mean,
- 5:54Speaker 1: this crap was shady, And why did Tim Walls not
- 5:59Speaker 1: pick up on it? Well, because he's a dope, he's
- 6:04Speaker 1: a schlove, he's a Nebbish, he's all the things at Yiddish.
- 6:10Speaker 1: He's not a qualified politician. And if you remember that
- 6:15Speaker 1: VP debate, I know, Gaby and I watched it. He
- 6:18Speaker 1: was terrible and jd Vance was a little weird. But
- 6:21Speaker 1: he's had it better than Tim Walls did. And I'm
- 6:27Speaker 1: just kind of glad this is his last waltz of
- 6:31Speaker 1: politics in twenty twenty six. This is Walls's last waltz
- 6:36Speaker 1: in politics in twenty twenty six, Thank god. I mean,
- 6:46Speaker 1: I don't uh, I'm not unhappy Trump won in twenty
- 6:54Speaker 1: twenty four. I mean, you know, I wrote in a
- 6:56Speaker 1: different candidate, Tolcy Gabbert, who ended up in the Trump administration.
- 7:01Speaker 1: But politically speaking, what made her choose Walls? The duf,
- 7:10Speaker 1: the schlub, There was nothing appealing about him. Meanwhile, Josh
- 7:17Speaker 1: Shapiro's house gets I think firebombed or you know what,
- 7:22Speaker 1: there was there was a lot. There was an attack
- 7:24Speaker 1: on his house because he's Jewish and he also stands
- 7:29Speaker 1: with the Jewish people. Shapiro should have been the answer
- 7:34Speaker 1: for Kamala Harris if they were going to pull that.
- 7:43Speaker 1: But I've been listening to this as a call screener
- 7:45Speaker 1: for Gallagher. I've been thinking about this because I also
- 7:49Speaker 1: know how much fraud was committed by so many others
- 7:53Speaker 1: during that pandemic that was caught, that wasn't caught, And
- 8:01Speaker 1: you just wonder how this slipped by. You're telling me.
- 8:05Speaker 1: In seventy seven, people and probably a lot of politicians
- 8:11Speaker 1: were all mum about this for almost five years. Even
- 8:20Speaker 1: the US Postal Inspection Service played a role in protecting
- 8:24Speaker 1: the American consumer from these types of fraudulent schemes. Brian Musgrove,
- 8:30Speaker 1: inspector in charge of the Denver Division, stated, historically, the
- 8:37Speaker 1: Federal Child Nutrition provided meals to children in school based
- 8:41Speaker 1: programs or activities. During COVID nineteen, the USDA waived some
- 8:47Speaker 1: of the standard requirements for participation in the Federal Child
- 8:51Speaker 1: Nutrition Program. Among other things, the USDA allowed for allowed
- 8:57Speaker 1: for profit restaurants to participate in the program, as well
- 9:01Speaker 1: as for off site food distribution to children outside the
- 9:04Speaker 1: educational programs. Because kids couldn't go there. Amy Bach was
- 9:10Speaker 1: the founder and executive director of Feeding Our Future. This
- 9:13Speaker 1: is where it all starts. I'm reading the exact press
- 9:16Speaker 1: release of where it all started. A non profit organization
- 9:20Speaker 1: that was a sponsor participating in the federal child nutrition program.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Selim Slade or Said, formerly co owner of Safari Restaurant,
- 9:30Speaker 1: was jointly tried with Bach. Together they oversaw a massive
- 9:35Speaker 1: fraud scheme carried out by SITS under Feeding Our Futures
- 9:41Speaker 1: sponsorship as proven a trial. Feeding Our Future employees recruited
- 9:46Speaker 1: individuals and entities to open federal trial nutrition program sites
- 9:50Speaker 1: throughout the state of Minnesota. They fraudulently claimed to be
- 9:55Speaker 1: serving me as the thousands of children to day within
- 9:59Speaker 1: just day's or weeks to be informed, false documentation, fraudulent
- 10:04Speaker 1: neo counts, fake attendance rosters, submitting these claims of the
- 10:11Speaker 1: Minnesota to the Minnesota Department of Education and then disperse
- 10:15Speaker 1: the probably obaid federal funding to their co conspirators involve
- 10:21Speaker 1: the scheme, and no politicians saw this happening, and maybe
- 10:27Speaker 1: they didn't want to keep quiet because I guess the
- 10:30Speaker 1: Somalian community, you know, contributes to who gets elected. It
- 10:39Speaker 1: gets even deeper. They created dozens of shell companies to
- 10:43Speaker 1: enroll in the program as food program sites to receive
- 10:46Speaker 1: a lot of the proceeds of their fraudulent scheme. And
- 10:49Speaker 1: who's in governor at the time, Governor Tim Walls. And
- 10:54Speaker 1: this is all happening and he doesn't see it. I
- 10:58Speaker 1: know Nick Shirley takes credit for this, okay, but this
- 11:02Speaker 1: is something that should have been harped on four months,
- 11:07Speaker 1: not just around Christmas time or the last couple of weeks.
- 11:12Speaker 1: This was going on back and they found out now,
- 11:16Speaker 1: But this was going on back in twenty twenty. You'll
- 11:25Speaker 1: love this one. Said's Safari restaurant company reported approximately six
- 11:34Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars an annual revenue prior to the pandemic.
- 11:42Speaker 1: In April twenty twenty, they enrolled in the federal child
- 11:46Speaker 1: nutrition program under the sponsorship of Feeding Our Future and
- 11:49Speaker 1: said claimed to be serving five thousand children a day
- 11:52Speaker 1: by July twenty twenty. Okay, I also know in Minnesota
- 11:56Speaker 1: the George Floyd riots happening, and that might have you
- 12:03Speaker 1: think back been able to do this. Maybe they did
- 12:08Speaker 1: take advantage of that horrible murder of George Floyd and
- 12:12Speaker 1: the riots after to then commit this fraud, claim to
- 12:18Speaker 1: be serving five hundred meals his children every seven days
- 12:22Speaker 1: a week. He claims to have served over three point
- 12:25Speaker 1: nine million children between April twenty twenty November twenty twenty
- 12:30Speaker 1: one that provided more than two point two million meals,
- 12:35Speaker 1: claiming to provide to two point two million meals to
- 12:39Speaker 1: other food sites involving feeding our Futures Fraut screams. They
- 12:47Speaker 1: got three point four million dollars in federal funds in
- 12:53Speaker 1: twenty nineteen to nearly two hundred million in twenty twenty one.
- 12:59Speaker 1: That absurd feeding our future fraudulely obtained disperson more than
- 13:08Speaker 1: two hundred and forty million dollars, and just now, because
- 13:12Speaker 1: it's a governor election, Walls resigns. This guy should have
- 13:17Speaker 1: been kicked to the curb months ago, years ago for
- 13:22Speaker 1: allowing such a scheme to occur in his state. The
- 13:31Speaker 1: defendants used the proceeds to purchase luxury vehicles, residential and
- 13:36Speaker 1: commercial real estate of Minnesota, as well as the property
- 13:39Speaker 1: in Ohio, Kentucky, Kenya, and Turkey. This case is a
- 13:48Speaker 1: result of investigation by the fbii RS Criminal Investigations and
- 13:53Speaker 1: the US Postal Inspection Service Assistant attorney. US attorney is
- 14:00Speaker 1: Jacob Thompson, Joseph Thompson, Matthew Ebert, Harriet's Jacobs, Daniel rope
- 14:06Speaker 1: Bobia are prosecuting the case. US Attorney Assistant Craigbone is
- 14:13Speaker 1: handling the seizure and for for jure of acids. Look,
- 14:16Speaker 1: you wouldn't get this. This also falls on the Biden
- 14:20Speaker 1: DJ who by the way, would rather raid mor Lago
- 14:26Speaker 1: and arrest Roger Stone then look into this fraud. In
- 14:37Speaker 1: a way, if Kamala gets elected, this does not come out.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I don't think it comes out. Walls gets to be
- 14:43Speaker 1: VP and it's a disaster. So Tim Walls stepping aside
- 14:50Speaker 1: is the right move. But my question is if we're
- 14:53Speaker 1: seeing this report in twenty twenty five, if we see
- 14:57Speaker 1: March twenty twenty five, but if we see from ah
- 15:04Speaker 1: March twenty twenty November twenty twenty one a ballooning from
- 15:08Speaker 1: three point four million dollars to two hundred million dollars,
- 15:15Speaker 1: how does no one catch that? How does that slip
- 15:20Speaker 1: through the cracks for almost five years? Even I have
- 15:26Speaker 1: to believe the FBI has been involved with this too.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So Tim Walls is simply exiting an election for something
- 15:36Speaker 1: he should have been ousted for years ago, years ago.
- 15:45Speaker 1: I know. The best part is this actually happened. I
- 15:51Speaker 1: mentioned to you Fulton County had to say that they
- 15:55Speaker 1: were wrong in the way they reported their election into
- 16:01Speaker 1: but that was one of four counts for cases against Trump.
- 16:08Speaker 1: So at the very same time they're working to prosecute Trump,
- 16:12Speaker 1: you let this scheme go by Biden DOJ at the.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Same time that you're worried about Mayor Adams. There's the
- 16:22Speaker 2: same bid DOJ that worried about Mayor Adams is dealings
- 16:26Speaker 2: with Turkey, leaning for him to be the first indict
- 16:29Speaker 2: in Mayor ever.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Because of the whole immigration situation. But that Biden DOJ
- 16:37Speaker 1: couldn't even look. And I can do my read and
- 16:41Speaker 1: see the DOJ did anything about this program. But I
- 16:47Speaker 1: would imagine not because it happened in a liberal state,
- 16:54Speaker 1: and I feel like once Trump came into power, I
- 16:56Speaker 1: came in the office, feels like power at this point,
- 17:03Speaker 1: they were finding all this out. But I'd like to know, now,
- 17:14Speaker 1: if we're real fast, if the Biden DOJ did anything,
- 17:20Speaker 1: because I didn't hear about this.
- 17:23Speaker 3: In Minnesota. Well, I'll tell you.
- 17:41Speaker 1: The FBI twenty twenty two, forty seven suspects have been
- 17:55Speaker 1: indicted for defrauding of federally funded child nutrition program. This
- 17:58Speaker 1: is actually under the Biden administration, and investigators believe few
- 18:04Speaker 1: meals were ever provided. If the Biden Biden FBI Christopher
- 18:14Speaker 1: Race said these indictments describing an egregious plot to steal
- 18:16Speaker 1: public funds meant to care, then why did the media
- 18:20Speaker 1: cover this or you know, cover this up or not
- 18:23Speaker 1: cover it. It did take Trump's DOJ to finally do something.
- 18:30Speaker 1: But if the Biden FBI, if the Biden DOJ did
- 18:34Speaker 1: something on this, why wasn't it reported. Oh because the.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Media, like the political arms, are always in cahoots to
- 18:45Speaker 4: not let it out, to not let it out.
- 18:49Speaker 1: So there was movement in twenty twenty two. Yet here
- 18:53Speaker 1: we are twenty twenty six and he finally gets pushed out. Now,
- 19:05Speaker 1: if you're the Biden administration and you've already seen this
- 19:12Speaker 1: guy letting it go, why pick him the character aside,
- 19:26Speaker 1: He's just a dad and I'm glad this is Tim
- 19:35Speaker 1: Walls last waltz in politics in twenty twenty six. But honestly,
- 19:43Speaker 1: he should have been forced to resign if even Biden's
- 19:47Speaker 1: team had seen something up, unlike Republicans who throw Trump
- 19:55Speaker 1: to the wolves. Even though this Maduro thing by the
- 19:58Speaker 1: way Maduro capture, doesn't it always seem like the Democrats
- 20:06Speaker 1: stick together like two birds of a feather when it
- 20:10Speaker 1: comes down to covering their asses. I think that's the
- 20:14Speaker 1: case here, or I think Biden, much like he asked
- 20:18Speaker 1: Governor Cuomo to resign, he did say he should resign
- 20:24Speaker 1: at twenty twenty. What where was that energy to tell
- 20:29Speaker 1: Tim Walls to resign and save the governor saved the
- 20:34Speaker 1: state of Minnesota from this seemingly cover up. So much
- 20:47Speaker 1: more to come, but I want to give you the
- 20:48Speaker 1: original original indictment from this year, from March twenty twenty five,
- 20:57Speaker 1: and how interesting is it? Nearly a year later, with
- 21:01Speaker 1: more eyes on the story, Tim Walls has his last waltz.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Goodbye tampon, Tim,
