Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: You can probably point to a couple of moments in
- 0:01Speaker 1: your life where you realize, like, my life changed when
- 0:06Speaker 1: I discovered this, right for me, one of the big
- 0:10Speaker 1: ones more recently is when my wife and I finally
- 0:13Speaker 1: decided to get a Costco membership.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Oh gosh, yeah, you've really been all about this.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I mean for years we were just and I love
- 0:21Speaker 1: our grocery stores and I'll never not have to use
- 0:23Speaker 1: a grocery store because you know, if you know, if
- 0:25Speaker 1: you go to these wholesale places, you know there's certain
- 0:27Speaker 1: things you just can't get there or that you don't
- 0:29Speaker 1: need in bulk. Right, But Costco been the game changer.
- 0:34Speaker 1: And do you know how long people are spending in
- 0:36Speaker 1: a Costco on average?
- 0:38Speaker 3: Do you what? Do? What do you?
- 0:39Speaker 2: Because? Do you do any whole ceiling?
- 0:42Speaker 4: Yeah, so we used to be a Sam's Club members
- 0:44Speaker 4: we popped over to Costco. My husband just swears by
- 0:47Speaker 4: like their golf attire and stuff like that.
- 0:48Speaker 2: That's golf attire, golf balls, golf gloves. I mean that alone.
- 0:54Speaker 1: My summer was I used to just bide through gloves
- 0:57Speaker 1: at the at the pro shop and the markup.
- 1:00Speaker 4: God, Amanda, that was one of his deciding factors on that.
- 1:03Speaker 2: But I think I've shared this with you.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I get anxiety going to Costco because I can't say no,
- 1:11Speaker 4: Like I just like look around and I see things,
- 1:14Speaker 4: and I so hard. I can't stop buying things. You
- 1:17Speaker 4: get over to the clothes and then you start looking around.
- 1:19Speaker 4: It's just it is so incredibly overwhelming to me. And
- 1:22Speaker 4: then when you get done, it's like playing tetris trying
- 1:25Speaker 4: to get all your stuff in the car.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I can't do it.
- 1:27Speaker 4: So I do same day delivery if I'm ever doing
- 1:30Speaker 4: any of the stuff otherwise Costco.
- 1:31Speaker 1: My husband goes and does it. Yeah, but he loves it. No,
- 1:34Speaker 1: it's it's great. So how long for me?
- 1:35Speaker 2: It would take me probably two hours.
- 1:38Speaker 4: My husband can be in and out of there in
- 1:40Speaker 4: ten to fifteen minutes, unless he stops at the food court.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Because are we adding that time in there?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Well, that's part of the average, I suppose, because and
- 1:47Speaker 1: I've never like, that's one thing I've not done is
- 1:49Speaker 1: eating the hot dogs or whatever. And it looks really good,
- 1:52Speaker 1: but it's just like I swear there's people going there
- 1:54Speaker 1: just for that hard to find a seat.
- 1:56Speaker 4: When I was pregnant with Sydney, I would go there
- 1:58Speaker 4: just to eat the footlung hot dog.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Like I would just sit there and just like.
- 2:03Speaker 1: I'm just picturing a pregnant Amanda sit by yourself gozzling
- 2:07Speaker 1: a foot long.
- 2:08Speaker 2: There's that.
- 2:08Speaker 4: But you love ice cream so much and they have
- 2:12Speaker 4: guilty is charge the best offt serve ice cream?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Oh gosh, yeah, oh good. Yeah. See that's why I
- 2:17Speaker 2: don't even want to try.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I don't want to start doing it because now every
- 2:21Speaker 1: grocery store trip is me gaining a ten pounds minimum.
- 2:24Speaker 1: They say though average trip time thirty seven minutes, kind
- 2:28Speaker 1: of quick, and on average sixty four dollars people are spending.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Oh, get out of it.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I know, I don't believe that. Just that's two items
- 2:36Speaker 1: sixty four is yeah, that's minimum. That's like the smallest
- 2:39Speaker 1: trip you can make. But then there are times where
- 2:41Speaker 1: it's hundreds of dollars, and I don't feel bad because
- 2:44Speaker 1: I know how long the hundreds of dollars is going
- 2:47Speaker 1: to last for me, And I think.
- 2:48Speaker 2: That that's where I struggle with it.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I'm kind of a I'll go to either cash Wise,
- 2:52Speaker 4: Hornbockers or Ald and just grab a few little items,
- 2:55Speaker 4: and I feel like, oh, it's less than one hundred bucks,
- 2:57Speaker 4: but I go once a week in order to do that,
- 3:01Speaker 4: whereas I go to Costco and it is minimum three
- 3:04Speaker 4: three point fifty. And now it feels like you're getting
- 3:07Speaker 4: nothing even though.
- 3:09Speaker 1: There What do you mean tell me more about getting me?
- 3:11Speaker 1: It just feels like, are you forgetting to bring your
- 3:13Speaker 1: groceries of the car?
- 3:14Speaker 2: No, it just feels like there's like ten items.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Yeah, it's in bulk, but that's it, and then I
- 3:20Speaker 4: have to go get all the other things with it.
- 3:22Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, I mean it's not fulfilling to me.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Maybe you're doing it wrong. I don't know.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Have you tried getting some of the samples because I
- 3:29Speaker 1: can make your trip worthwhile? You know?
- 3:31Speaker 2: That doesn't get me either. Really, in a way, it's
- 3:33Speaker 2: kind of like, no, I'm good. I don't know.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Some people you can tell because they're the hoverers. Like
- 3:39Speaker 1: when the person is still preparing and the people try
- 3:42Speaker 1: to act like they're doing other things, I'm like, just
- 3:44Speaker 1: get in line. You know you're standing here because you
- 3:47Speaker 1: can see it's a it's almost coming out of the back. Okay,
- 3:50Speaker 1: just say you're here for it. They're just circling rut
- 3:53Speaker 1: and then you're they're in your way, like if you're
- 3:55Speaker 1: trying to get through.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I mean, that's the whole other thing. It's very hard
- 3:58Speaker 2: to navigate.
- 3:58Speaker 4: And I am the worst if I am at Costco,
- 4:01Speaker 4: I apologize because I'm such like a lolly, Like I'm
- 4:03Speaker 4: looking around and I'm so distracted and those cards are
- 4:07Speaker 4: so big, and you know, there's people that are there
- 4:10Speaker 4: on a mission. They know what they're trying to do,
- 4:11Speaker 4: and I'm kind of like oop, sorry, wrong way going
- 4:13Speaker 4: through the produce.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And it's kind of a mess.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I yeah, people like you, I know, trust me, Just
- 4:20Speaker 1: have some awareness. If you're stopped in, like on your
- 4:23Speaker 1: phone or just thinking about something, just know that sooner
- 4:26Speaker 1: than later, somebody's trying to get around you. So just
- 4:29Speaker 1: be conscious of that.
- 4:30Speaker 4: And do you ever do I did the scanning go
- 4:32Speaker 4: for a long time where you're already scanning your items
- 4:34Speaker 4: on your phone as you're going through.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Really, I don't know about that. Is that at Sam's Club? Probably,
- 4:39Speaker 2: I've never heard of it. I thought it was at Costco.
- 4:41Speaker 4: But either way, so then that's also another Again it's helpful,
- 4:44Speaker 4: but that's also another distraction because you're trying to go
- 4:46Speaker 4: through as you're.
- 4:47Speaker 2: There's a lot going on. There's a lot going on.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Do you feel my anxiety going up talking about Costco?
- 4:53Speaker 2: I can feel it. But you know what they say, Amanda, Yes,
- 4:57Speaker 2: everything worth have what it's this is gonna be good.
- 5:01Speaker 2: We're all here for it. Help me with this.
- 5:02Speaker 1: There's a saying about something like the things that are
- 5:05Speaker 1: worth having are are hard to get. You know what
- 5:09Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like, everything worth having you're.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Worth the wait. It's it's just it's hard to get it.
- 5:18Speaker 5: God.
- 5:18Speaker 2: There's a saying, you know what I mean, if.
- 5:21Speaker 4: The longer you have to wait for something, the more
- 5:22Speaker 4: you'll appreciate it when it finally arrives.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Did you look that up?
- 5:26Speaker 1: No, it's not the time, it's how difficult it is.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Like if it's easy to achieve, then the reward probably
- 5:33Speaker 1: isn't that great.
- 5:34Speaker 2: This is maybe even more exhausting than Costco. Okay, give
- 5:38Speaker 2: us like ten to fifteen minutes. We'll come back with
- 5:40Speaker 2: an answer.
- 5:41Speaker 5: An in the morning, Big naty eight point seven.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Big ninety your point seven. Today's variety, it's piking a
- 5:46Speaker 1: Manday in the morning.
- 5:47Speaker 4: Gonna be Colloudie today. Chance of some showers this afternoon
- 5:50Speaker 4: high of eighty three.
- 5:51Speaker 3: You're ready, ready, let's see it is piping hot today
- 5:56Speaker 3: and now Amanda stills, let's see.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Let's see whoa.
- 6:01Speaker 4: I think everybody was in shock yesterday as we waited
- 6:04Speaker 4: to find out what Didty was actually arrested for, what
- 6:08Speaker 4: was he formally charged with, and what we found out, Pike,
- 6:12Speaker 4: was your mind blown?
- 6:14Speaker 1: I see, No, it wasn't. I mean, I'll be honest,
- 6:17Speaker 1: it's kind of what I was imagining.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Really, I guess the depths of it.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I did not many details, as some people made it
- 6:24Speaker 1: seem like I go ahead with the story. Maybe I
- 6:26Speaker 1: missed something, all right.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Well, he was formally charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and
- 6:30Speaker 4: transportation to engage in prostitution. In the unsealed indictment, Diddy
- 6:34Speaker 4: was described as the boss of a criminal group that
- 6:36Speaker 4: abused women and forced him to participate in what they
- 6:40Speaker 4: call freakoffs. Watching this yesterday, I had never heard.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Of anyone freak off.
- 6:45Speaker 3: No.
- 6:45Speaker 4: I was watching them as they were reading all of this,
- 6:48Speaker 4: and not only the amount of times that they were
- 6:50Speaker 4: saying freakoff, but the details behind it.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I had never heard of anything like this.
- 6:54Speaker 4: No, the indicement also says that women were threatened with
- 6:57Speaker 4: violence as well as the loss of financials if they
- 7:00Speaker 4: refused to participate. He allegedly kept videos of these freak cops,
- 7:04Speaker 4: and we use the videos as collateral to ensure that
- 7:07Speaker 4: they would be obedient and that they would remain silent.
- 7:10Speaker 4: No victims were named in the indictment. There was a
- 7:13Speaker 4: couple of times that you could tell that they were
- 7:14Speaker 4: referring to the Cassie video when they were talking about
- 7:16Speaker 4: the incident that happened in the hotel. Now, when federal
- 7:20Speaker 4: agents raided Ditty's home back in March, they sees narcotics
- 7:23Speaker 4: and more than a thousand bottles of baby oil and lubricant,
- 7:27Speaker 4: and those were used during the freak Cops. They found
- 7:30Speaker 4: nine AR fifteen style weapons. Six reportedly had serial numbers
- 7:33Speaker 4: that were intact, three others had serial numbers that were defaced.
- 7:37Speaker 4: If found guilty, I was watching a few people yesterday
- 7:41Speaker 4: talk about this, he could spend the rest of his
- 7:42Speaker 4: life in prison. Some people were saying, even if he
- 7:45Speaker 4: were to get away with some of this stuff, yeah,
- 7:48Speaker 4: still probably fifteen years in prison.
- 7:51Speaker 1: No, it's very serious. Don't mean to diminish the seriousness
- 7:54Speaker 1: of it. I just I was kind of imagining this
- 7:56Speaker 1: sort of thing. But, like you said, it's disturbing. And
- 8:00Speaker 1: his defense attorney, I guess their argument is that it
- 8:02Speaker 1: was all consensual.
- 8:03Speaker 4: Yeah, saying it was consensual, saying that they were in
- 8:05Speaker 4: a long term relationship when referring to Cassie and how
- 8:08Speaker 4: she is the one who provoked that situation. We just
- 8:11Speaker 4: didn't see that on video. Some of the other things
- 8:14Speaker 4: that the defense was saying in terms of he had
- 8:17Speaker 4: no idea. Of course he had to have self defense.
- 8:19Speaker 4: That's why he had all these ars around him. He
- 8:22Speaker 4: had no clue that they were there. It's like one
- 8:24Speaker 4: woman was under his bed, I think, or on the
- 8:26Speaker 4: side of his bed.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Yeah, and what he did in that Cassie video, there
- 8:30Speaker 1: is nothing she could have done beforehand that would justify him.
- 8:33Speaker 1: He's running away, Yeah, like that's not self defense.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Well, it's very disturbing. And he went in there yesterday
- 8:40Speaker 4: offering up a fifty million dollar bail and was just
- 8:43Speaker 4: basically trying to be as cooperative as possible, saying, I
- 8:46Speaker 4: was here, I know, I'm ready to face this.
- 8:49Speaker 1: There's nothing I have done wrong. Now, didn't they find
- 8:52Speaker 1: drugs in this room? Still even though he was there, yes,
- 8:55Speaker 1: literally to turn himself in. Essentially, they found pink baggies
- 8:58Speaker 1: of drugs, which the night before his arrest, I mean,
- 9:02Speaker 1: which given all of these accusations, the bags of drugs
- 9:05Speaker 1: are probably like the least serious thing on this list.
- 9:08Speaker 4: It was hard to because he had three sons that
- 9:10Speaker 4: were there supporting him and just kind of that. It
- 9:14Speaker 4: feels like they're partying with him, and they're with him
- 9:16Speaker 4: all the time too, right, so it's like, what do
- 9:19Speaker 4: they know? They denied his bail, which I was shocked.
- 9:22Speaker 4: I was really happy they did that. He's going to
- 9:24Speaker 4: be back in court today. There's no trial date, but
- 9:27Speaker 4: they're trying to appeal the charges to get him out
- 9:30Speaker 4: on bond. I don't see that happening, and I hope
- 9:32Speaker 4: it doesn't happen, but.
- 9:33Speaker 2: No, I don't think so either. Just wow, yeah, wow.
- 9:35Speaker 4: And if you want to score big on your birthday,
- 9:39Speaker 4: get Travis Kelsey as a friend. I don't know if
- 9:41Speaker 4: you saw this or not, and I feel like you're
- 9:43Speaker 4: gonna have some thoughts on this. Patrick Mahomes turned twenty
- 9:45Speaker 4: nine the other day, and no, he did. Nins is
- 9:50Speaker 4: over almost This is what Trav got him.
- 9:53Speaker 6: Travis got me.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Louis Vuitton golf bag, so that was that was gonna
- 9:59Speaker 1: be sweet. I don't know how much I can use
- 10:00Speaker 1: that on the golf course, but it will be nice
- 10:02Speaker 1: to have.
- 10:03Speaker 4: I'm glad he acknowledged that. Like, I don't know if
- 10:06Speaker 4: I'm actually going to use this on the golf course.
- 10:08Speaker 2: It's run. I don't know.
- 10:09Speaker 4: It's like a twenty five thousand to thirty thousand dollars
- 10:12Speaker 4: golf bag.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I mean a Louis Vatan gold got it for you
- 10:16Speaker 2: to use it. I saw a little too bougie. No,
- 10:19Speaker 2: it's fine golf My god.
- 10:20Speaker 1: I've had the same golf bag for years, and it
- 10:22Speaker 1: looks the same today as it did the day I
- 10:24Speaker 1: bought it.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Just use it, You're rich. And it also just feels
- 10:28Speaker 2: like really cheesy. I don't know.
- 10:29Speaker 4: I don't would you want like a you play for
- 10:31Speaker 4: the Chiefs like a Chiefs bag?
- 10:34Speaker 3: Now?
- 10:34Speaker 1: No, No, that's too like on the nose. These guys
- 10:37Speaker 1: can have their own sense of style, all right. And
- 10:40Speaker 1: it was a rough day for Trap yesterday. ESPN Steven
- 10:43Speaker 1: Smith threw a little shade at Trav.
- 10:45Speaker 7: We saw more tal than we saw Travis Kelce yesterday
- 10:48Speaker 7: on a Sunday at the noon and any other time
- 10:50Speaker 7: that's applicable, then he's.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Supposed to happen.
- 10:52Speaker 7: Yesterday, were supposed to see more Travis Kelcey, Yesterday he
- 10:55Speaker 7: saw that's not happening. You got to get you got
- 10:58Speaker 7: to get it going. Bro, you got thirty nine receiving
- 10:59Speaker 7: yard in the first two games. Come on, now his
- 11:01Speaker 7: tie football season? Is he honeymoons over? Let's handle our business. Okay,
- 11:06Speaker 7: Well that's not nice.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I don't know why that had me rolling. But he's
- 11:10Speaker 2: a funny guy.
- 11:11Speaker 1: The honeymoon is over. Come up with thirty eight. Yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 1: he's been very quiet, but then again, he's thirty five.
- 11:17Speaker 4: I mean, even when he's running the play that he
- 11:20Speaker 4: I think he got thirty nine yards, it was like
- 11:22Speaker 4: crazy and just it just looked like he was slow
- 11:25Speaker 4: motion compared to some of these guys just going.
- 11:27Speaker 1: And there's nothing wrong with that. He's also a big guy.
- 11:30Speaker 1: He's a tight end. Yeah, he's not Tyreek Hill out there.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I mean he's never been a burner. Yeah, you know,
- 11:35Speaker 1: but a burner what I've never heard that term means
- 11:40Speaker 1: a fast person people get. You know, some people call
- 11:43Speaker 1: me a burner. Amanda back in the day or now.
- 11:46Speaker 2: I think. I don't know if I've lost a step.
- 11:48Speaker 2: You know, I haven't run a forty in a while.
- 11:50Speaker 2: But I imagine it's about to say get.
- 11:52Speaker 3: A man in the morning seven.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Dream job alert. You're looking to make some quick care.
- 12:01Speaker 1: This is a study for you.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I know some people are hesitant about doing studies, but
- 12:05Speaker 1: this one there's no pills, there's no injections. Literally a
- 12:09Speaker 1: sleep study that you can make eighteen thousand dollars. Okay,
- 12:14Speaker 1: holy smokes, Now here's the deal. Here's what they want
- 12:17Speaker 1: you to do. You need to stay in bed for
- 12:21Speaker 1: two months. Oh gosh, no way. Yeah, I know how
- 12:25Speaker 1: you all hate being in bed. No, but for two months.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Couldn't do it. I had appendicitis about a year and
- 12:32Speaker 2: a half ago. Yes, sorry to hear that, remember that.
- 12:35Speaker 4: Yeah, and when that appendice I has had to go, Well,
- 12:37Speaker 4: when they took up my appendix I had, I think
- 12:40Speaker 4: it was like a Saturday or Sunday morning procedure and
- 12:45Speaker 4: I was in bed for a day and a half
- 12:48Speaker 4: and that about killed me, Like I could not just
- 12:51Speaker 4: because you have to stay in.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Bed, you cannot get out of bed.
- 12:54Speaker 1: And here's the reason why this is not just some
- 12:57Speaker 1: willy nilly study. This is very important research to find
- 13:01Speaker 1: the effects that weightlessness has on our astronauts while in space.
- 13:08Speaker 1: So essentially, if you're you know, experiencing weightlessness like you
- 13:12Speaker 1: do in a zero gravity setting such as outer space, oh,
- 13:16Speaker 1: my back.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Would hurt so bad just thinking about it.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Well, they say the idea is that they want to
- 13:22Speaker 1: essentially see what like your muscles deteriorating, like what happens
- 13:26Speaker 1: your body when you're in bed for that long sounds glory.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Your feet have to be above your head, so just
- 13:31Speaker 1: like a slight decline, which to me makes me dizzy.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Thinking about it. You can't get out of bed. So
- 13:37Speaker 2: I'm guessing any bathroom which's gonna ask just.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Like hospital treatment, I guess you know, a bedpan or
- 13:45Speaker 1: what the vacuum hose up your ear?
- 13:46Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know what I mean.
- 13:48Speaker 4: You'd get some good netflixing in, but that's I wouldn't be.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Able to do it.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I think I think two months of that you would
- 13:56Speaker 1: get to the end of Netflix. It'd be like, sorry,
- 13:58Speaker 1: you've watched everything. Well you'd have to toss in some
- 14:02Speaker 1: different activities. Yeah, but I mean even then it's not
- 14:05Speaker 1: for everybody. The requirements of the study. You gotta be
- 14:08Speaker 1: between the ages of twenty and forty five. You have
- 14:10Speaker 1: to be in quote excellent health condition. What does that
- 14:14Speaker 1: even mean? Well, you gotta wonder. You have to have
- 14:16Speaker 1: regular exercise habits. You have to have a BMI a
- 14:19Speaker 1: body mass index between twenty and twenty seven. You can't
- 14:22Speaker 1: be a smoker, can't have any allergies, you can't even
- 14:25Speaker 1: have any dietary restrictions. You have to be a perfect
- 14:29Speaker 1: human eighteen grand. I don't think that's gonna be worth
- 14:33Speaker 1: it for me, and all in after the two months
- 14:35Speaker 1: of just laying in bed, they say there's a period
- 14:37Speaker 1: of rehababilitation because you're gonna lose muscle, I mean just
- 14:41Speaker 1: laying there, You're gonna feel disgusting, and they're gonna have
- 14:43Speaker 1: to build you back up.
- 14:44Speaker 4: And for somebody who would fit into this mold, you're
- 14:47Speaker 4: already active in doing.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Oh it would be frustrating. Yeah, I couldn't no in
- 14:51Speaker 2: eighteen grand.
- 14:52Speaker 1: So all in three months you're looking at what six
- 14:54Speaker 1: grand a month, which isn't like it's not a crazy wage.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I mean you're not doing your litter, not doing anything
- 15:01Speaker 1: so it's the easiest money you'll make.
- 15:02Speaker 2: But I think i'd.
- 15:04Speaker 4: Lose my sanity, yeah somewhere along the way. So what
- 15:07Speaker 4: would be the longest you think you could make it?
- 15:09Speaker 1: I mean for money, if is money on the line,
- 15:12Speaker 1: or is this just me trying to prove something.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Let's say that there's money on the line. What is
- 15:16Speaker 4: the longest you could go? You think, well, I can
- 15:18Speaker 4: do two months. I would do two months if it
- 15:20Speaker 4: was it would have to be more than eighteen thousand dollars, okay?
- 15:23Speaker 4: Or can I work from bed? Can I work in
- 15:25Speaker 4: bed and then also be getting paid eighteen thousand dollars?
- 15:28Speaker 2: Sure? Okay? Then yeah? Really well for my family?
- 15:31Speaker 4: Yeah, gosh, I don't think I could make it more
- 15:33Speaker 4: than a week.
- 15:34Speaker 2: I really don't.
- 15:35Speaker 1: You just pop out of bed. People do it all
- 15:37Speaker 1: the time. The grandparents on Willy Wonka they were in
- 15:40Speaker 1: bed for years. No, nope, they were Are you arguing
- 15:43Speaker 1: that Grandpa Joe was not for years?
- 15:46Speaker 2: Not familiar? I don't know. I'm just saying I couldn't
- 15:48Speaker 2: do it. Oh yeah, familiar. So you wanted to quick
- 15:50Speaker 2: change the conversation. I get it.
- 15:51Speaker 1: You don't want to expose yourself as not having seen
- 15:55Speaker 1: Willy Wonka, I have Chocolate back.
- 15:57Speaker 2: It's just not like detailed. That's not a subtle detail.
- 16:01Speaker 1: But Joe popping out of bed was like the peak
- 16:03Speaker 1: of the movie.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I didn't make it to the peak of it. It
- 16:07Speaker 2: was very early in the film. It's set up. The
- 16:10Speaker 2: whole thing, Charlie was did you make it through the credits?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Some people really criticize him for that, that he was
- 16:15Speaker 1: just laying in bed for years and then suddenly there's
- 16:18Speaker 1: a trip to a chocolate factory on the line, and
- 16:20Speaker 1: heaed hops right out of there. He starts dancing.
- 16:23Speaker 4: I just remember the chocolate factory portion of the movie.
- 16:26Speaker 4: I think you might have just seen the cover of
- 16:28Speaker 4: the movies.
- 16:29Speaker 3: What Happened Why Amanda in the Morning on Big seven trending. Now,
- 16:36Speaker 3: Here's what you need to know.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Local health officials warn that there's been a spike in
- 16:40Speaker 4: whooping cough cases now. Fargo PLoP Cast Public Health says
- 16:45Speaker 4: at least fifteen cases have been reported since the start
- 16:47Speaker 4: of the school year. Since January, there have been forty
- 16:49Speaker 4: one reported cases in Cass County. Doctor Tracy Newman says
- 16:52Speaker 4: now is more important than ever to make sure that
- 16:55Speaker 4: your family's up to date in all their vaccines. Whooping
- 16:57Speaker 4: cop is highly contagious. It's a respiratory illness. It spreads
- 17:00Speaker 4: easily from person to person through air.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Yeah, be careful. I don't know that I've ever had
- 17:04Speaker 2: whooping cough.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I know I got a whooping or two as a child,
- 17:09Speaker 1: but pigs, well, you didn't.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Shows the shows.
- 17:16Speaker 4: US gymnast Jordan Stiles is appealing a decision that left
- 17:19Speaker 4: her stripped of her bronze medal and the paras Olympics.
- 17:22Speaker 4: I don't know how this is all going to go down,
- 17:24Speaker 4: but it is now in the hands of a high
- 17:26Speaker 4: a Swiss high court that's going to take up the matter.
- 17:29Speaker 4: It kind of felt like the last go run when
- 17:32Speaker 4: they said, sorry, you're not going to be able to
- 17:34Speaker 4: get this back.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Well, they literally said there's nothing.
- 17:37Speaker 1: There's nothing they could do, even with the video evidence
- 17:39Speaker 1: that shows that they are correct.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Was it because of the timing like the Yeah.
- 17:44Speaker 1: They said that she waited too long to file the
- 17:47Speaker 1: appeal in that moment after the score came in. Well,
- 17:51Speaker 1: then the video shows that the coach did, in fact
- 17:53Speaker 1: with plenty of time, like several seconds before the I
- 17:56Speaker 1: think it's sixty seconds you have they submitted the appeal,
- 17:59Speaker 1: so oh they threw it out because they're too late.
- 18:02Speaker 1: But then you go back and look like they say
- 18:03Speaker 1: they have the evidence.
- 18:04Speaker 2: They do. She filed in time meeting that score.
- 18:08Speaker 1: I forget what exactly happened, but all I know is
- 18:11Speaker 1: that she should have the bronze medal and they're saying that, sorry,
- 18:14Speaker 1: there's nothing we can do about it.
- 18:16Speaker 4: Yash and Jordan is twenty three years old, so I
- 18:18Speaker 4: don't know if she'll go back to another Olympic Games
- 18:21Speaker 4: or not. But it's just it's heartbreaking because that's just
- 18:24Speaker 4: always going to have that ick feeling no matter.
- 18:27Speaker 1: What exactly, even if she gets it backed, yes, it's
- 18:30Speaker 1: still going to feel not like it would have if
- 18:32Speaker 1: just it would have happened naturally like it's supposed to.
- 18:35Speaker 1: You're celebrating, are on the podium with your teammates. Now
- 18:38Speaker 1: it's all just screwed up. I hear, Yeah, all right.
- 18:42Speaker 4: Instagram and failed some new rules for teen users yesterday.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Any miners who sign up, we'll have their accounts set
- 18:47Speaker 4: to private by default, meaning only their approved followers can
- 18:51Speaker 4: see their posts. Now, users ages sixteen and seventeen can
- 18:54Speaker 4: opt out. Of the privacy settings on their own. Younger
- 18:56Speaker 4: users need the permission of a parent. Teens will get
- 18:58Speaker 4: a notification they've been on the app for sixty sixty minutes.
- 19:02Speaker 4: It'll encourage them to close the app. Instagram also says
- 19:05Speaker 4: they're working on technology. It gives specifics, but to better
- 19:09Speaker 4: catch miners who lie about their age.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Good.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I mean the more you can protect the kids,
- 19:14Speaker 4: the better. One hundred percent. Today gonna be cloudy, still
- 19:17Speaker 4: hot though, high of eighty three and a chance of
- 19:19Speaker 4: some showers.
- 19:22Speaker 5: Like a minute in the morning on Big nuety eight
- 19:24Speaker 5: point seven.
- 19:25Speaker 1: You see what's resurfaced. You maybe have heard this in
- 19:27Speaker 1: the past, but there's a dating trend. It's called the
- 19:31Speaker 1: six six six dating rule. I don't think I know
- 19:35Speaker 1: about that. One six sixty six, of course, being the
- 19:37Speaker 1: devil's number. This means that people are looking for people
- 19:40Speaker 1: who have sworn their souls to Lucifer. No, it's actually
- 19:43Speaker 1: something else I'm trying to think of.
- 19:44Speaker 4: There's one where it's when you're like in a relationship
- 19:48Speaker 4: and you're supposed to like go on a date.
- 19:50Speaker 2: It's not like the one two three rule, but go
- 19:52Speaker 2: out one Yeah, every week you go on a date.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Every month, you go on a weekend away, and every
- 19:57Speaker 1: year it's like you go on a trip or whatever. Yeah,
- 20:00Speaker 1: super unreal. No, no, this is when you're just dating. So
- 20:02Speaker 1: people are looking for a man that fits under the
- 20:05Speaker 1: six six six dating rule, meaning that one he's six
- 20:10Speaker 1: feet tall, number two he earns six figures, and finally
- 20:17Speaker 1: he has a six pack.
- 20:21Speaker 2: That's it.
- 20:22Speaker 5: No pressure, guys.
- 20:23Speaker 1: There's all kinds of guys like this, and if you
- 20:25Speaker 1: don't fit in that category, ladies, they don't want anything.
- 20:28Speaker 2: To do with you. Like how you feeling about this?
- 20:29Speaker 1: I mean, is this the moment you go glad I'm
- 20:32Speaker 1: marry Yeah, that's I mean, that's tough sledding. Obviously you
- 20:37Speaker 1: know two of them you can control one you can't.
- 20:41Speaker 2: But still at.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Six figures, well not what it used to be growing up.
- 20:44Speaker 1: It's still not just pick right, Like what are we doing? Yeah,
- 20:48Speaker 1: if you're somebody looking for the six six rule, like
- 20:51Speaker 1: I get all those are nice, but you're probably just
- 20:54Speaker 1: not a good person.
- 20:55Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, I think I'm gonna agree with
- 20:58Speaker 2: you on this one.
- 21:00Speaker 1: The most unreal I mean the six pack, Like you
- 21:02Speaker 1: know how hard those are to achieve and there are
- 21:04Speaker 1: guys and girls too that just are they have naturally skinny. Yeah,
- 21:09Speaker 1: they've had a six pack since they were four years old.
- 21:11Speaker 4: Yeah, and the older you get, it just kind of fades, right,
- 21:13Speaker 4: even some of the most athletic people who had them,
- 21:18Speaker 4: You get your dad or mom bad later on in life.
- 21:20Speaker 2: It's so hard kids or whatever. It may be.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Respect to people who have them, because it's a lot
- 21:25Speaker 1: of work and it's just part of your lifestyle. If
- 21:27Speaker 1: you still are able to maintain that, that's just how
- 21:30Speaker 1: you're living. But and also six feet tall. That's a
- 21:34Speaker 1: lot of guys, aren't. They round up quite a bit,
- 21:36Speaker 1: but there are a lot of guys that are not
- 21:38Speaker 1: at six There's a lot of guys, I mean, there
- 21:40Speaker 1: are plenty. Of course, I'm not one of them, but
- 21:42Speaker 1: I'll go to like, for some reason, when I go
- 21:44Speaker 1: to sports Bar downtown, everyone there is like six foot eight,
- 21:48Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Because it's always so packed
- 21:50Speaker 1: and I'm walking through, I'm.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Like, why does everybody here a giraffe? Like what happened?
- 21:54Speaker 4: Maybe they're in heels because the average type for men
- 21:58Speaker 4: in the US is five.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Yeah, Well that's why it's desirable, because it's not common,
- 22:04Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, I know people are six four, six,
- 22:06Speaker 1: six eight. I got a six or eight friend. Real
- 22:09Speaker 1: guy in high school was six eleven. Yeah, six eleven
- 22:12Speaker 1: for real.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Adam Holty msum basketball legend, Wow DG have all time, great,
- 22:19Speaker 1: well fun.
- 22:19Speaker 2: In fact, my husband always says he's six feet he's
- 22:22Speaker 2: now he's like five eleven.
- 22:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I kind of feel like he's more like the
- 22:26Speaker 4: five nine.
- 22:27Speaker 2: If he spikes his hair, maybe fine, your husband is
- 22:29Speaker 2: not five to nine. Your husband's like five ten or eleven.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know. Yeah.
- 22:33Speaker 1: The guy in my band, Cody, who plays next to me,
- 22:35Speaker 1: plays guitar next to me on stage. Yeah, he's tall.
- 22:37Speaker 2: He's tall.
- 22:38Speaker 1: He's like six four, and so there's times on stage
- 22:40Speaker 1: where you know, we try to do the cool like
- 22:41Speaker 1: back to back guitar playing and it just does. It's like, yeah, well,
- 22:45Speaker 1: it's difficult because he's so much.
- 22:46Speaker 2: Taller than me.
- 22:47Speaker 1: You're like right by his bum, yeah, like he's about
- 22:49Speaker 1: to topple over the top of me.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:52Speaker 1: But hey, it's all for the show as long as
- 22:54Speaker 1: we're given the LS fans what they want. I realize
- 22:57Speaker 1: I haven't talked about my band much lately. I'm so
- 22:59Speaker 1: glad you ramp that up. Can I tell a quick
- 23:02Speaker 1: story about Adam Holty, the six foot eleven guy was
- 23:05Speaker 1: telling you about sure we have all the time in
- 23:07Speaker 1: the night.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah we do, and I'm sure everybody wants
- 23:10Speaker 2: to know. Well, it's a fun story.
- 23:12Speaker 1: So in college, my freshman year at the Great Minnesota
- 23:15Speaker 1: State University of Moorhead Go Drags, my friends and I
- 23:18Speaker 1: started a wreck intermural basketball team.
- 23:22Speaker 2: I kind of remember this.
- 23:23Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, so I'm playing on this basketball team and
- 23:25Speaker 1: I'm not very.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Good, but some of my friends were for a bowler.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Well I didn't play basketball, that's I know, that's probably
- 23:30Speaker 1: why you think that, correct. I mean, listen, don't get
- 23:33Speaker 1: me wrong. I can knock a three down or two
- 23:35Speaker 1: like I could. I could shoot. I wasn't gonna play
- 23:38Speaker 1: much defense, and I'm certainly not going to drive the lane,
- 23:41Speaker 1: but I could shoot anyway. So our team was bad,
- 23:43Speaker 1: We're the worst, and the whole thing because a lot
- 23:45Speaker 1: of the guys who were in these intermural leagues.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Like play No. I thought your team. I thought your
- 23:50Speaker 2: team was just resting the other teams.
- 23:52Speaker 1: The other teams were like basically the year before, they
- 23:54Speaker 1: were the starting lineup at a high school and now
- 23:56Speaker 1: they're playing chumps like me. So we get to the
- 23:59Speaker 1: tournament and we're the last seed because we I don't
- 24:01Speaker 1: think we won a game all year. So I schemed
- 24:04Speaker 1: it up that for this tournament only, I was going
- 24:06Speaker 1: to reach out to a guy who graduated five years
- 24:08Speaker 1: before me in high school, who was six foot eleven,
- 24:11Speaker 1: Adam Holty.
- 24:13Speaker 2: So I was able to get his number from like
- 24:15Speaker 2: a friend of a friend of a friend stop imagine surprise,
- 24:19Speaker 2: call him. I text him.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, Adam, I don't even know if you
- 24:22Speaker 1: remember me, but I have a question. What are you
- 24:25Speaker 1: doing this Tuesday? Would you mind coming over and playing
- 24:29Speaker 1: some basketball with this team? I'm on tell me he
- 24:31Speaker 1: shows up. He was all about it. He showed up.
- 24:33Speaker 1: I remember the first team we played was like a
- 24:35Speaker 1: bunch of kids from Holly, which is the school right
- 24:38Speaker 1: next to us. So all these kids like remember him
- 24:40Speaker 1: playing basketball? I remember him walking in. They're like, what
- 24:44Speaker 1: is that Adam Holty? What it's Michael Jordan's the whole game,
- 24:50Speaker 1: we're just lobbing it up to Adam Holty. He's just
- 24:52Speaker 1: throwing it down. I think we still lost. But you
- 24:56Speaker 1: were that bad. The one guy couldn't hold the team together.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I know it says a lot, says a lot. Thank
- 25:01Speaker 2: you for that. We all needed that.
- 25:03Speaker 5: In the morning, come on, get up on, big.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Big out of you at point seven. Today's variety Pike
- 25:10Speaker 1: and Amanday. In the morning, it'll be cloudia.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Chance with some showers today. Hi have eighty three.
- 25:14Speaker 1: What are the most annoying things your coworkers do at work?
- 25:17Speaker 1: And Amanda, I'm sure you're doing all of these absolutely,
- 25:20Speaker 1: I don't even have to look. But a survey found
- 25:22Speaker 1: that the most annoying things for people in the workplace
- 25:24Speaker 1: are one, far and away not cleaning up after yourself.
- 25:28Speaker 2: It's amazing to me.
- 25:30Speaker 4: There's a couple of people because we have shared kitchen spaces.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Staff room classic.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Yeah, and just like don't even understand. And I don't
- 25:39Speaker 4: think it's because I'm anal about things like this. But
- 25:43Speaker 4: they won't pick up coffee when it drips, Yeah, the
- 25:46Speaker 4: coffee trip. It's so easy to take a little paper talent,
- 25:49Speaker 4: just dab that p Yeah, leave an open cupboard. Just
- 25:52Speaker 4: little things like that drive me crazy. But if they're
- 25:55Speaker 4: making food, they don't cover it it explodes. Uh, there's
- 25:59Speaker 4: a couple of people who like to make pizza in
- 26:01Speaker 4: here and you can just see the pizza crumbs all
- 26:04Speaker 4: over and just they don't.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Wipe it up.
- 26:05Speaker 1: Yeah, or throw dishes in the sink the breakroom. Saying
- 26:08Speaker 1: it's like this is obviously a person who as a child,
- 26:12Speaker 1: that's what they did. They just had to throw it
- 26:13Speaker 1: in there, and somebody would take care of it. Even
- 26:15Speaker 1: as an adult. Their wife is probably taken care of
- 26:18Speaker 1: it for them.
- 26:18Speaker 4: If I said were to have a coffee cup or
- 26:21Speaker 4: something like that that I needed washed, I would not
- 26:25Speaker 4: just leave it in the sink here. I'd either hand
- 26:27Speaker 4: wash it real quick if I didn't have time to
- 26:29Speaker 4: unload the full dishwasher, or it would just bring my
- 26:31Speaker 4: cup back to my office and figure it out.
- 26:34Speaker 2: You know, I would just leave it loaded.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Gossip being number two on the list of most annoying
- 26:38Speaker 1: cowork behaviors. See people like to say they don't like it,
- 26:41Speaker 1: but they love doing it, for sure. Everyone loves it.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Everyone loves a good piece of hot goss using inappropriate
- 26:49Speaker 1: language somehow in at number three, I don't know. I
- 26:52Speaker 1: think there could be more of that in the workplace.
- 26:55Speaker 1: It kind of kind of humanizes the whole thing.
- 26:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I think we're probably a little bit more lo
- 27:00Speaker 4: see goosey over here than you know most people, you think.
- 27:03Speaker 4: So there, I'm not saying we don't have a professional
- 27:05Speaker 4: work setting. I feel like we're split. We have one side,
- 27:09Speaker 4: you know, that's really and then there's.
- 27:11Speaker 2: The other side.
- 27:11Speaker 1: So we must have the silly geese who are on
- 27:15Speaker 1: the radio, and then the other side of the building
- 27:17Speaker 1: are the salespeople and more administrative. But I feel like,
- 27:21Speaker 1: I mean, I know plenty of teachers and nurses and
- 27:24Speaker 1: all of that, and I think people are people regardless
- 27:27Speaker 1: of the how they're doing. While they might like in
- 27:29Speaker 1: meetings they put on a face. It's so funny when
- 27:31Speaker 1: you know somebody who's like really high up at a
- 27:33Speaker 1: company and you can imagine that they're doing these like
- 27:36Speaker 1: presentations and leading meetings, and then you get them outside
- 27:40Speaker 1: of work and they're just the same this yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 27:43Speaker 1: And then also being unresponsive to messages the most annoying
- 27:47Speaker 1: workplace behavior.
- 27:48Speaker 4: Nothing worse than if you send like an email or
- 27:51Speaker 4: you do something and you're waiting for a response, but
- 27:53Speaker 4: then you see somebody, especially in the world of social media. Yeah,
- 27:57Speaker 4: post something and you're like really. But at the same time,
- 28:00Speaker 4: it depends on the type of day. Like if it's
- 28:02Speaker 4: during work hours and you notice it, that's different, Well,
- 28:05Speaker 4: that is going to bother you. If it's in the evening,
- 28:07Speaker 4: who cares because it's okay, you.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Don't need to.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Yeah, there is an obligation, like during your worktime, probably
- 28:13Speaker 1: be relatively responsive, you know, correctly. Yeah, if I can
- 28:15Speaker 1: email at nine o'clock at night, first of all, I'm like,
- 28:17Speaker 1: what are you doing? Go be with your family, you know,
- 28:22Speaker 1: And I'm no, I'm not responding to that.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Like, get Amanda in the morning.
- 28:25Speaker 3: Come on, get up on Big eight seven.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Big ninety eight point seven, today's variety. It's piking Amanda
- 28:31Speaker 1: in the morning.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Answer.
- 28:32Speaker 4: Some showers this afternoon otherwise cloudy and a high of
- 28:35Speaker 4: eighty three.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Well, we wanted to bring a couple of people into
- 28:37Speaker 1: the studio today to talk about something you've maybe if
- 28:40Speaker 1: you're like me, it came across your Facebook feed. You know,
- 28:42Speaker 1: every once in a while, locally there's somebody who just
- 28:45Speaker 1: has a great network of people that love them, and
- 28:47Speaker 1: unfortunately something bad happens and we lose them and that
- 28:51Speaker 1: was the case with John Peterson. So we have Tyler
- 28:54Speaker 1: and Nicolon here actually who worked with John at San
- 28:57Speaker 1: Fern Ambulance. Correct, Yes, awesome, Well, good morning both you.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Thank you for coming in.
- 29:01Speaker 4: I know this is so hard for you guys to do,
- 29:03Speaker 4: to talk about somebody that you guys love so much,
- 29:05Speaker 4: but also I want to take this minute for people
- 29:07Speaker 4: to know that aren't familiar. You know, we all a
- 29:09Speaker 4: lot of us like II convention st on social media.
- 29:11Speaker 4: It was just last Thursday we got a big ninety
- 29:13Speaker 4: eight point seven Christmas wish from one of your co
- 29:15Speaker 4: workers who really wanted us to share this story.
- 29:18Speaker 2: So can you tell us a little bit about John
- 29:20Speaker 2: and what happened.
- 29:21Speaker 8: He was an outstanding individual, an outstanding paramedic, friend of father, husband.
- 29:27Speaker 8: He was kind and witty. He was very passionate about
- 29:30Speaker 8: his job. He touched the lives of many individuals in
- 29:33Speaker 8: our community. He started working at Stanford Ambulance in twenty
- 29:36Speaker 8: twelve as a polemedic, came down to the Education Department
- 29:39Speaker 8: in twenty twenty one and was able to do a
- 29:42Speaker 8: lot of outreach in our community and in the rural
- 29:44Speaker 8: areas you know, in the state of North Dakota, Minnesota.
- 29:47Speaker 8: So he was outstanding.
- 29:50Speaker 2: It was an on privilege to be.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Able to work with him. Yeah, that's such a selfless
- 29:54Speaker 1: job to do, like you said, and then to be
- 29:55Speaker 1: passing it along to smaller communities and the education aspect
- 29:58Speaker 1: of it. He just sounds like a great guy. And
- 30:00Speaker 1: I know I never read the honor of meeting him,
- 30:01Speaker 1: but just everything I've read and everything you shared, Nicole,
- 30:04Speaker 1: what a great guy.
- 30:05Speaker 2: And so when we saw the news, it just broke
- 30:07Speaker 2: our heart. And tell us a little bit about what
- 30:09Speaker 2: happened and how long ago.
- 30:11Speaker 6: Yeah, so last November November twenty twenty three, he started
- 30:14Speaker 6: experience some of your muscle weakness throughout his body. He
- 30:16Speaker 6: described as going from being thirty five to eighty pretty
- 30:20Speaker 6: rapidly within a few weeks. In January, he was diagnosed
- 30:23Speaker 6: with a wear autoimmune disease called immune mediated necrotizing myopathy,
- 30:28Speaker 6: the disease that just literally eats the muscles inside the
- 30:31Speaker 6: body and then eventually affected his hearts.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Yeah that's just so horrible. And you know he was
- 30:36Speaker 1: a young man, right, I mean, yeah, thirty five that's
- 30:39Speaker 1: just and how old are his kids?
- 30:41Speaker 8: I'm fourteen and I believe eleven or twelve.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Gosh, that breaks my heart on so many levels. Of course,
- 30:46Speaker 4: you guys lost a friend and a coworker. Our community
- 30:49Speaker 4: lost somebody who's just amazing. And I know that one
- 30:52Speaker 4: of the reasons we wanted to bring you guys in
- 30:54Speaker 4: here is because you guys have had this plan for
- 30:56Speaker 4: a while. There is going to be a benefit because
- 30:58Speaker 4: I can only imagine the medical expense is now just morning,
- 31:01Speaker 4: the loss of him because he did pass away on Friday.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Just his family, they've they've got to be going through
- 31:05Speaker 2: such a hard.
- 31:05Speaker 6: Time, Yes, very much so. So we partnered with lend
- 31:08Speaker 6: to hand up.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Okay, okay, work through. So when is this benefit?
- 31:11Speaker 6: The benefit is October twentieth, and it's going to be
- 31:14Speaker 6: at Labby's in North Fargo from eleven am to two pm.
- 31:17Speaker 4: Okay, perfect, And we're going to make it super easy.
- 31:19Speaker 4: We're going to put all of these details on our
- 31:21Speaker 4: Facebook page. But what we wanted to do, and I
- 31:24Speaker 4: wish we could have done it sooner, but we want
- 31:27Speaker 4: to be able to give you guys a big Christmas wish.
- 31:29Speaker 4: It's a one thousand dollars check thanks to not only
- 31:31Speaker 4: the Big Christmas Wish, but Gatewishchevrolet and Heartland Chevy Dealers
- 31:35Speaker 4: to kind of start a little fundraiser and put this
- 31:37Speaker 4: also on our Facebook page. I know there's a lot
- 31:39Speaker 4: of people that might not be able to make it
- 31:40Speaker 4: out there, so we're going to put it on Facebook
- 31:42Speaker 4: and one hundred percent of these donations are going to
- 31:45Speaker 4: go right to John's family.
- 31:47Speaker 2: That's amazing, that's really positive.
- 31:49Speaker 8: His family will really appreciate that absolutely.
- 31:52Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, the least we can do just to
- 31:54Speaker 1: help them in any way. You know, nothing's going to
- 31:56Speaker 1: make it better, but just to help ease it in
- 31:59Speaker 1: any way possible. So we're happy to do that. We're
- 32:01Speaker 1: honored to do it. Thank you guys so much for
- 32:03Speaker 1: sharing John's story. It sounds like a great guy that
- 32:05Speaker 1: we were all lucky to have for the short amount
- 32:08Speaker 1: of time we did.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Thank you guys, all right, Thank
- 32:11Speaker 3: You Ike and Amanda in the morning,
