Transcript
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to pink Shade. Welcome to Wednesday. That
- 0:17Speaker 1: means that we won't say whitey Wednesday. We say that
- 0:20Speaker 1: over on Patriot with the plaus I didn't come up
- 0:24Speaker 1: with it, and it's funny every time. No, this is
- 0:27Speaker 1: welcome to Platville Wednesday. We keep it cute and nice
- 0:31Speaker 1: over here on the well. No, not when it comes.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Toy wasp waspy Wednesday.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Okay, we'll take it. Well, this is welcome to Plathvild Day.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And you know, as angry as we are, we hadn't
- 0:45Speaker 1: gotten that much pushbrack good. It's pretty good, pretty good.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Now I want to read you before we get started.
- 0:55Speaker 1: We have a gal that is very active over on Patreon,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and she sent the following and I wrote and said,
- 1:03Speaker 1: may I read this because it's really really good. Her
- 1:07Speaker 1: name is Minxy. I don't think that's her god given name.
- 1:10Speaker 1: I believe that's her name, But she says, I am
- 1:15Speaker 1: an educated person and I absolutely adore the English language.
- 1:19Speaker 1: I don't swear because I believe for every swear word,
- 1:22Speaker 1: there are a hundred other words that can deliver as
- 1:25Speaker 1: devastating a blow in any exchange. With that, said Kim
- 1:29Speaker 1: Plath can fuck right off. It's pretty good because I thought,
- 1:37Speaker 1: oh no, we're going into a curse, right she says,
- 1:41Speaker 1: what a horrible human being. She actually smirked when the
- 1:44Speaker 1: producers asked her if she would apologize to her daughter
- 1:47Speaker 1: Lydia at the family sit down. Kim believes she does
- 1:50Speaker 1: not owe her an apology because, in her minuscule mind,
- 1:54Speaker 1: she has done nothing wrong. She was simply caring about
- 1:57Speaker 1: her daughter. This is a blatant line with the assistant
- 2:01Speaker 1: of her trugli dyite sons. She actively plotted against her
- 2:05Speaker 1: own daughter the week of her wedding. She did her
- 2:08Speaker 1: best to poison the well against Zach with her sons
- 2:11Speaker 1: and the youngest daughters. She also does not have a
- 2:14Speaker 1: strong enough sense of self to simply appreciate how lucky
- 2:18Speaker 1: Lydia is. Do you have found Zach? And how truly
- 2:20Speaker 1: happy she is? Others happiness galls Kim because she lacks
- 2:25Speaker 1: generosity of spirit yes with the Dui under her belt,
- 2:29Speaker 1: finding a cash like kk Kim, and lacking any meaningful
- 2:32Speaker 1: relationship with her daughters. One might say the carbra truck
- 2:35Speaker 1: has swhite sweet Kimmy fingers crossed. It keeps rolling over
- 2:39Speaker 1: her for years and years to comb Oh yeah, so.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Minxy feels a little harsh given what happened to Kim. Well,
- 2:50Speaker 2: we don't just I'm not gonna say that, but I do.
- 2:54Speaker 2: I always say, got from dayline. Karma drives a big
- 2:59Speaker 2: but and she knows everybody's address, and she's coming for Kim.
- 3:05Speaker 1: I said that too my husband the other night. Karma
- 3:08Speaker 1: drives a big bus and it's coming for everybody. And
- 3:11Speaker 1: I can't remember in what were we talking about somebody
- 3:16Speaker 1: in the current administration? Were we talking about Jeffrey Epstein?
- 3:22Speaker 1: Were we talking about Unplath Like, I don't know what
- 3:24Speaker 1: we were talking about, but I said, Karma drives a
- 3:26Speaker 1: big bus and it comes for everybody. But that's not
- 3:29Speaker 1: the corrects it knows everybody's address.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well, we got it from a dateline somebody who
- 3:36Speaker 2: it was like a guest on dateline who's oh when
- 3:39Speaker 2: in their family had been killed? And they were like,
- 3:42Speaker 2: Karma drives a big bus and knows everybody's address. And
- 3:45Speaker 2: we loved it so much, put it on shirts.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that too. I love that too. Well,
- 3:51Speaker 1: let's talk about the plass. This is season eight, episode four.
- 3:55Speaker 1: That Dog Won't hunt. Ye, that dog won't hunt. Fisher
- 3:59Speaker 1: cut bake. Dog won't not? Can I bet that dog?
- 4:04Speaker 1: So we're at the Plot family farm. Since Lydia is
- 4:10Speaker 1: not there, kid is now the dishwasher. Kid's washing this
- 4:15Speaker 1: mother effort.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Kim Plath will not lift a finger. No, there's never
- 4:21Speaker 2: been a lazier person on TV. And I'm including Beavis.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And butt Head and.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Every teenage boy that ever was on our screens. And
- 4:34Speaker 2: jove on, Kim is so fucking lazy and she you
- 4:39Speaker 2: should not have eighteen children if you are not willing
- 4:43Speaker 2: to lift a finger.
- 4:45Speaker 1: That's why you have the children.
- 4:47Speaker 2: So you have the But isn't there a period at
- 4:50Speaker 2: the beginning when the first babies are not able to
- 4:54Speaker 2: do chores?
- 4:55Speaker 1: Right?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Age in my mouth, And that's probably annoying for people.
- 5:00Speaker 2: What age can you teach them to start doing chores?
- 5:03Speaker 2: And do you have to do chores those first few years?
- 5:07Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you're like never again.
- 5:11Speaker 1: Yeah, once that youngest one gets to five and can
- 5:15Speaker 1: really start doing the manual labor and get a little
- 5:18Speaker 1: stool and wash those dishes, it's over for you. Yeah,
- 5:24Speaker 1: I've just burped. I played it all wrong. I played
- 5:26Speaker 1: it all wrong. I should have had more. Okay, So, yes,
- 5:30Speaker 1: it's true.
- 5:31Speaker 2: You invite your kids back to your home and then
- 5:33Speaker 2: you're all doing stuff for them.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Yeah, inviting, they're just here. So Barry drives up and
- 5:42Speaker 1: Kim goes out to greet him, and Barry says, Barry,
- 5:45Speaker 1: this is.
- 5:45Speaker 2: My favorite scene that has ever happened on TV.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Barry says, well, I'm here on delivering oats for the
- 5:51Speaker 1: cows and the horses. This is part of my arrangement
- 5:55Speaker 1: with Kim.
- 5:56Speaker 2: Okay, she says again, she's not gonna do anything.
- 6:01Speaker 1: It's not gonna go to the store. She's not gonna
- 6:03Speaker 1: look this up again.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Why pick a farm which requires so much labor to
- 6:10Speaker 2: upkeep a farm? She might do better in a condo. Yeah,
- 6:14Speaker 2: someone else takes care of things.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Yes, yes, just press that con that button and be like,
- 6:19Speaker 1: I need the super to come and fix myself. Yeah.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So he asked Ken where do I put it? And
- 6:25Speaker 1: Ken goes all right, And what that meant was the
- 6:30Speaker 1: girls take care of all the animals. Oh, because you
- 6:33Speaker 1: know who does it, Kim Kim. But the funniest thing
- 6:38Speaker 1: is Barry's like, I got it. It just picks up
- 6:41Speaker 1: this like two hundred pound bag and walks on nothing
- 6:43Speaker 1: for him, nothing, it's nothing for Barry. So Barry says
- 6:48Speaker 1: he's jacked. So Barry says, uh so, what's been going
- 6:52Speaker 1: on over here my home where I lived for thirty years?
- 6:57Speaker 1: And Ken goes huhh and what he said there was, yeah,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I've been working with Ethan on the barn and Barry
- 7:06Speaker 1: says it is talking head. It seems weird. Yeah, in
- 7:13Speaker 1: a number of ways. So I just try to be casual,
- 7:17Speaker 1: try to be nonchalant.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, this I've never seen two people be more awkward.
- 7:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Ever, and I was a very awkward teenager. Have these
- 7:31Speaker 2: men never had a human conversation?
- 7:34Speaker 1: Are they?
- 7:34Speaker 2: Ai? It's like they're having two different mad libs conversations. Yeah,
- 7:40Speaker 2: you're trying to match them up, because like Ken will
- 7:44Speaker 2: be like, oh love Pizza, I love Pisa, and then
- 7:52Speaker 2: Barry will be like, yeah, I root for the the Rangers,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and then Ken will be like.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Which guy where you wanted a film?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Or and Barry will be like, I really love Yellowstone
- 8:10Speaker 2: on TV. I think it's that Kevin Costner is good.
- 8:13Speaker 2: It's completely too I think Barry can't understand Ken, so
- 8:18Speaker 2: he's guessing what you're saying, yes, and then trying to
- 8:22Speaker 2: have the appropriate response.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Yes, that's a that's a good call. So Barry goes,
- 8:28Speaker 1: so settling in, Okay, to my home here, settling in?
- 8:32Speaker 1: All right? And uh and I Kin goes, you know,
- 8:38Speaker 1: Settling's gone myself one here now, Kimberly, would you like
- 8:43Speaker 1: to talk? I don't know if there's I speak drunk redneck,
- 8:49Speaker 1: so I know what he's saying, but I'm wondering if
- 8:53Speaker 1: you know what some of his things might be that
- 8:57Speaker 1: he was hoping that he could bring, because if not,
- 8:59Speaker 1: I've got a picture for you. Would you like to
- 9:01Speaker 1: take a picture?
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 9:04Speaker 1: Okay, So these are some of the things that kN likes.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Christ these are some of the things that Ken likes. Ken,
- 9:15Speaker 1: as you guys know, was trying to sell some slave
- 9:19Speaker 1: memorabilia and uh, don't miss the opportunity to own a
- 9:26Speaker 1: piece of real American history. He was gonna take four
- 9:30Speaker 1: hundred dollars for that. Oh my god.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And I'm still so mad about that reviewer who said
- 9:37Speaker 2: that we were calling these people racist. Is based on facts.
- 9:42Speaker 2: This is stuff they are posting.
- 9:44Speaker 1: This is nothing compared to the rest of his Facebook.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Guys, a slave restraint ball and someone in the comments wrote,
- 9:56Speaker 3: this is pretty fucked up, and he replied, you must
- 9:59Speaker 3: be a liberal.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Well, Tiffany Palombo. Tiffany Palombo in the comments, we don't
- 10:05Speaker 1: know you, but we still.
- 10:07Speaker 2: We applaud you.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yeah, we applaud you. I'll take this off the screen.
- 10:10Speaker 2: It's upsetting anyway, upsetting. It's just so upsetting.
- 10:16Speaker 1: When he says he doesn't have all this stuff, he's
- 10:20Speaker 1: missing his Civil War millimeror Baillia.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Okay, man, I went really soft when I joked about
- 10:26Speaker 2: a Confederate flag. I didn't know how what much worse
- 10:29Speaker 2: it was.
- 10:30Speaker 1: That's bad. But you guys just check out his Facebook,
- 10:33Speaker 1: Ken the Palmer check it out. I mean, just terrible stuff. Okay.
- 10:39Speaker 2: And again, I'm not gonna now, I'm not gonna feel
- 10:42Speaker 2: bad forever making fun of Kim because this is the
- 10:44Speaker 2: person she's chosen to spend her life with and moved
- 10:48Speaker 2: into a home with her young children, with her young children.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Yeah, so he says, I don't have all my stuff here,
- 10:55Speaker 1: and Barry goes yeah, yeah, yeah, good to hear. Yeah again,
- 11:00Speaker 1: two different conversations, and talking to Kin says it's so
- 11:05Speaker 1: weird and Barry asked me how I was selling in
- 11:08Speaker 1: and what he said there was I felt weird when
- 11:11Speaker 1: Barry asked me how I was settling in. You know,
- 11:14Speaker 1: Barry and I don't have a lot of the same likes,
- 11:17Speaker 1: but we do get along. Ken's likes our slave memorabilia
- 11:21Speaker 1: and Barry's likes are working out. Yeah, okay, just checking. Okay,
- 11:29Speaker 1: Barry may Barry may also like slave may Also, we don't.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Know he likes being jacked more.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Yes, he likes to feel that blood pumping.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Okay, two steroids.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I mean it would be hard for a man that
- 11:46Speaker 1: aged off of a sudden get that jack. I don't know.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:48Speaker 2: He's at least taking testosterone supplements.
- 11:51Speaker 1: He's doing a lot of pumping.
- 11:54Speaker 2: But I think they don't believe in doctors, so I
- 11:57Speaker 2: think he's getting it off of the streets somewhere.
- 11:59Speaker 1: I think it's it's all off the table of what
- 12:01Speaker 1: they believe in at this point.
- 12:03Speaker 2: That's true.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Yeah, So, uh Ken tells Barry he's enjoyed getting to
- 12:08Speaker 1: snow Ethan. Okay, you're the only one.
- 12:12Speaker 2: And does Ethan speak around you?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Uh Ken says, you know Ethan was living up north.
- 12:21Speaker 1: You know what that.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Means, the gaze.
- 12:24Speaker 1: He was with the gaze. Yeah, he said Ethan was
- 12:27Speaker 1: living up north, so I didn't get to talk to
- 12:29Speaker 1: him much. But now he's back in Georgia where he belongs.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And Barry goes, yeah, you know, he and Teacan broke
- 12:37Speaker 1: up and that was rough. That was rough. So Ken
- 12:40Speaker 1: says to Barry, a relationships anybody, And Barry says, I
- 12:48Speaker 1: think you asked if I was dating and so no, no,
- 12:53Speaker 1: not yet, and Ken goes, yeah, I got he's into
- 12:56Speaker 1: the kind of like how I just like, he's right
- 12:57Speaker 1: into your wife, you know what I mean?
- 13:00Speaker 2: This is how Boom Howard talks on King of the Hill.
- 13:03Speaker 1: It's so Ken tells Barry he has to ease into dating. Ken,
- 13:10Speaker 1: you eased right into this man's white and home. It's hilarious.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Someone talking to Barry goes, yeah, that's interesting. Yeah, it's
- 13:23Speaker 1: not like I want to talk to Ken about my
- 13:25Speaker 1: dating life, although it would be funny if I asked him,
- 13:30Speaker 1: how's it going with Kim? Let me give you a
- 13:32Speaker 1: few pointers? Good luck, So Barry tells Ken, yeah, when
- 13:41Speaker 1: we first moved out, Now this was weird and somewhere
- 13:45Speaker 1: in this storyline it is production driven, but I can't
- 13:49Speaker 1: figure out exactly where, right, yeah, Barry tells Ken. God.
- 13:55Speaker 1: When we first moved out here, you know, Kim was
- 13:58Speaker 1: very introjuicing, Like does she juice these days? Does she
- 14:01Speaker 1: used the big juicer? Because she's sure as shit doesn't
- 14:04Speaker 1: look like she's been juicing. You know what I'm saying.
- 14:06Speaker 1: She's on a different juice. She's on some Jesus juice.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Hear me, you hear me on that one. Big Ken
- 14:11Speaker 1: got that juicer.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Chubs, no fabbies in my dating profile?
- 14:18Speaker 1: Oh my god. So Barry gets to the point he's
- 14:24Speaker 1: pump and iron. He wants the juicer. Okay, yeah, So
- 14:28Speaker 1: they walk around. I looked it up. A juicer could
- 14:30Speaker 1: be anywhere from like one hundred and fifty to five
- 14:31Speaker 1: hundred dollars, so they're not cheap.
- 14:33Speaker 2: This one was not that big, but I don't know
- 14:35Speaker 2: if bigger is better.
- 14:37Speaker 1: They kept talking about how big it was, and I
- 14:39Speaker 1: was like.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Right, a little, not that big at all.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I don't I don't know my juicer, so I don't know.
- 14:45Speaker 2: He was very Can I miss it like I thought
- 14:48Speaker 2: I was expecting, like a printing press machine? Yes, like that,
- 14:52Speaker 2: like you walk in in the whole room is the
- 14:54Speaker 2: juicer you can get it. It's like the size of
- 14:56Speaker 2: like a blender, a shoe box.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 15:00Speaker 1: So Barry gets to the point he wants the big
- 15:01Speaker 1: juicer and obviously Kim's not using it, you know what
- 15:04Speaker 1: I'm saying, Ken, So they walk around and Barry literally
- 15:09Speaker 1: was like, oh, that looks wait, that's mine. And he's
- 15:12Speaker 1: just looking around like, wait, there's a lot of shit
- 15:14Speaker 1: in here. That still mine. So they go into the house,
- 15:17Speaker 1: which is full of shit. The house is just hoarder's paradise. Yeah. Yeah,
- 15:23Speaker 1: remember eleven people lived there and it didn't look.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Like it didn't look like this. No, they let their
- 15:29Speaker 2: children have things correct.
- 15:32Speaker 1: So he finds the juicer and he goes, uh, so,
- 15:35Speaker 1: let me check out that jukebox. Well, that's that's really nifty.
- 15:39Speaker 1: You want to play me some Neil Diamond. So Barry says, yeah,
- 15:44Speaker 1: the house doesn't look like what it did when I
- 15:47Speaker 1: lived in the house. There's a lot of stuff there yet,
- 15:50Speaker 1: lots of stuff, and I understand blending two houses. Yeah,
- 15:53Speaker 1: it's got a cozy feel, yeah, real cozy feel, like
- 15:57Speaker 1: my god goat path from room to room.
- 16:01Speaker 2: So shady.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I love it. I love it, and talking head Ken's aggressive.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I loved it. Ken says Barry isn't easily around for
- 16:10Speaker 1: very long, but when he does get here, we get along.
- 16:15Speaker 1: So Barry says, Ken is kind of stoic. So I
- 16:18Speaker 1: don't spend time trying to dissect and analyze his non
- 16:23Speaker 1: verbals or his verbals, because I don't know what the
- 16:27Speaker 1: fuck he's saying.
- 16:29Speaker 2: So good, Harry wins. Harry just Verry will want to
- 16:34Speaker 2: do his win like.
- 16:37Speaker 1: And he goes, but I don't. I don't get bad vibes.
- 16:39Speaker 1: I don't get bad vibes. All right, that's good because
- 16:41Speaker 1: he lives through three children. Yeah. So over in kro
- 16:45Speaker 1: at Russell's military vehicles, Ethan sees his buddy, his boss, Russell.
- 16:52Speaker 1: He is helping Russell. He's Russell got his scripts the
- 16:57Speaker 1: night before and he memorized it.
- 16:59Speaker 2: He is for TV. He has all the soundbites.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Russell said, Oh, I'm moving this story along.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Taylor was trying to do that last week. It didn't work.
- 17:10Speaker 1: It did work.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Russell has it.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Russell has it. So dog will hunt, this dog will hunt.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Thank you, Russell. You know, Ethan just sort of mumbles
- 17:21Speaker 1: to Russell trying to talk to him. He's like, yeah,
- 17:25Speaker 1: and I was clean.
- 17:26Speaker 2: This can get along because it's just like.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Yeah, and actually they probably just will speak.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Yeah grunts and grunts, and it'll be like, how.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Was it when you lived up with those Yankees up north?
- 17:43Speaker 1: So he was in Minnesota, so technically.
- 17:49Speaker 2: It's pretty purple?
- 17:52Speaker 1: What does that mean?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Red and blue?
- 17:56Speaker 1: Oh? Okay. So Russell talks about how great Ethan is,
- 18:02Speaker 1: how smart he is, you know, he like had him
- 18:03Speaker 1: come over and tested him and he was like he's really,
- 18:06Speaker 1: you know, great with his work. Russell says, you know, Ethan,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I want to retire and I wish I had somebody
- 18:12Speaker 1: to take this shop over. I turned down work every day,
- 18:15Speaker 1: like if you could really work here with me. Business
- 18:18Speaker 1: is booming, and he jokes with Ethan. He goes, oh,
- 18:20Speaker 1: we'll get you a shirt. You know, He'll say Russell's
- 18:23Speaker 1: right here and he think goes mumble, mumble, and he goes, ah,
- 18:26Speaker 1: even get you a black shirt, which was hilarious.
- 18:30Speaker 2: It is hilarious.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Also, Ethan expects so little out of life. He's probably
- 18:35Speaker 2: like that would convince him to like move somewhere and
- 18:38Speaker 2: do a job. If he got a cool.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Shirt that he liked, as long as it's a black
- 18:42Speaker 1: T shirt style.
- 18:42Speaker 2: As long as a black T shirt.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Yeah, we're good, and he goes Ethan goes, no, I
- 18:47Speaker 1: gotta I got somebody else's name on my heart. In
- 18:51Speaker 1: the Talking Head, he tells us he has not spoken
- 18:54Speaker 1: with Tigan. He has no idea what she's up to.
- 18:58Speaker 1: So she could be dating somebody.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Else, right, just go in person and find out, and
- 19:03Speaker 2: none of these people on social media.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know if he just I mean,
- 19:09Speaker 1: that's how they met on social media, so I don't
- 19:10Speaker 1: know if he just blocked her so he'dn't have to
- 19:12Speaker 1: see her, or he says, she gave me the freedom
- 19:17Speaker 1: to move here and see what I want. Is that
- 19:20Speaker 1: what he calls when you dump somebody, you have now
- 19:22Speaker 1: have the freedom to do what you want. H He says.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Being in george is nice, but not without her. And
- 19:30Speaker 1: no matter how much I wanted to come back to Georgia,
- 19:32Speaker 1: my heart is where she is. So, by the way,
- 19:36Speaker 1: this never worked at Olivia, it's not going to work
- 19:38Speaker 1: with Tigan. Okay, So he tells Russell he's moving to
- 19:43Speaker 1: Wisconsin and Rosa goes, wow, okay, you tell Tigan. Uh
- 19:47Speaker 1: uh okay, if you told your parents? No, okay. So
- 19:53Speaker 1: Teagan doesn't know you're coming to move there. Nope. Hadn't
- 19:55Speaker 1: talked to her in a while, so I'm sure it'll
- 19:58Speaker 1: be fine. So I'm talking to her. He says, I'm
- 20:01Speaker 1: not going to tell Tigan that I'm moving there because
- 20:03Speaker 1: she won't believe me because I've said it so many times.
- 20:06Speaker 1: So I'm just going to go there and take the risk.
- 20:08Speaker 1: And uh, no, I didn't tell my family because everybody's
- 20:10Speaker 1: got an opinion and their opinion doesn't matter. I'm gonna
- 20:13Speaker 1: do what i want.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Great.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Wow. So Russell goes, you got any pictures of that
- 20:20Speaker 1: little lady that's got your heart? And he, like a
- 20:24Speaker 1: normal person would pull out their phone, Yeah, pulls out
- 20:27Speaker 1: his wallet like a dad, like old picture nineteen eighty seven,
- 20:32Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, pulls out some photos of Tegan and
- 20:36Speaker 1: he goes, oh, you got a receipt there. He says
- 20:38Speaker 1: it's a receipt that he has from a date, as
- 20:40Speaker 1: like from a moment, like I'm a mentor when they
- 20:42Speaker 1: went on a date. Okay, okay, so Russell and He's
- 20:46Speaker 1: like smiling. He's looking at the pictures, goes, I know
- 20:49Speaker 1: you had top teeth.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Like Forrest.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Like Forrest is no top teeth. So Russell says, so
- 20:57Speaker 1: what are you going to tell your family? And you
- 21:00Speaker 1: probably when I'm on the road, I was like, that
- 21:02Speaker 1: sounds about right, sounds about right.
- 21:06Speaker 2: I thought the family was going to work on communication.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Yeah, And Russell goes, so you got a place to
- 21:13Speaker 1: live and everything, and he goes, nope, just go get
- 21:16Speaker 1: my car and go there.
- 21:18Speaker 2: And it is that white man thing, like I feel
- 21:22Speaker 2: like a woman could never do this because you need
- 21:26Speaker 2: like a safe place to stay, like where are you
- 21:29Speaker 2: going to sleep, Like you need at least five people
- 21:31Speaker 2: to know where you're gonna be, so yes, in case
- 21:34Speaker 2: something happens or you get kidnapped.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Uh huh yeah, all of that.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I'm going the open road.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Yeah, and the Open Road calls him in season three
- 21:43Speaker 1: that we're watching right now, he just got back from
- 21:45Speaker 1: when he left for ten days and left a note
- 21:47Speaker 1: on the door for Olivia and he could she couldn't
- 21:50Speaker 1: contact him.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah, that's normal, that's good. That's how your way your
- 21:54Speaker 2: marriage didn't work.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Yeah, and the talking head Russell says honestly, I think
- 22:00Speaker 1: it's a mistake. I think it's a rebound thing. You know,
- 22:04Speaker 1: Ethan's a family guy, and he knows what his family
- 22:07Speaker 1: will say, and that's why he's not telling them. Yeah,
- 22:10Speaker 1: that's that is literally the story of his life. Yeah.
- 22:13Speaker 1: So now let's go into Barry. Barry is going to
- 22:17Speaker 1: be made a matchmaker named Renee. He answered her questionnaires online.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I guess he paid her fee. He needs to get
- 22:25Speaker 1: the fila who is Barry? Who is Barry? So he
- 22:31Speaker 1: can't get his zoom volumes work.
- 22:34Speaker 2: No, that was so funny. I can't believe he is
- 22:36Speaker 2: a computer event.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It's just he works in like city planning. I know
- 22:42Speaker 1: he's a computer. I know.
- 22:43Speaker 2: It's just so funny, just because they feel like they
- 22:46Speaker 2: raised the kids without technology, but they of course could
- 22:49Speaker 2: do it if they wanted.
- 22:50Speaker 1: It was always on her phone. Yeah. Yeah. So they
- 22:56Speaker 1: talk and she says, you know, on my questionnaire, you
- 22:58Speaker 1: know how ready at a scale of one to ten,
- 23:01Speaker 1: are you ready to be committed? And you said five
- 23:04Speaker 1: out of ten? So what's that about? He says, Well,
- 23:07Speaker 1: you know, I'm out of a divorce and I'm looking
- 23:09Speaker 1: to date, so I would say, like I'm halfway there
- 23:13Speaker 1: was talking. Hetty says, I'm looking for the right feel
- 23:18Speaker 1: for the woman to have the right feel, for the
- 23:21Speaker 1: kids to think it's a good fit. Now, very interesting,
- 23:25Speaker 1: as we're going along this journey with Barry, I don't
- 23:28Speaker 1: recall Kim ever wondering how the kids felt.
- 23:32Speaker 2: No, she didn't ever sit down with them and ask no,
- 23:35Speaker 2: she just left. She said she liked and she went
- 23:39Speaker 2: for it.
- 23:40Speaker 1: She said that man has got some memorabilia that I'm
- 23:44Speaker 1: interested in, and that's my man. Okay.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Barry is like taking tests to find out what enneagram
- 23:50Speaker 2: and like what his love languages are before he even
- 23:53Speaker 2: stopped dating. He's an overthinker. Perhaps Kim is not a thinker.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Nose under the would be CALLI it. Okay, So Renee says,
- 24:03Speaker 1: why didn't your marriage work? And here's where he could
- 24:06Speaker 1: have really thrown Kim under the bus, But he says,
- 24:09Speaker 1: you know, it takes two to have issues. And in
- 24:12Speaker 1: the end, she said I wasn't meeting her needs and
- 24:15Speaker 1: she felt she didn't have a voice. What she ran
- 24:21Speaker 1: that shit.
- 24:23Speaker 2: She was the head that the neck that turns the head.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Yes, that's crazy. Yeah, he says, she said she felt
- 24:32Speaker 1: she didn't feel she was loved as she thought she
- 24:34Speaker 1: should be. And you know, that's good feedback that could
- 24:37Speaker 1: help me address any issues I have. I'm a work
- 24:40Speaker 1: in progress. I'm trying to better myself now. I don't
- 24:42Speaker 1: think he was like a touchy feely loving husband, right,
- 24:46Speaker 1: So it does take two to you know.
- 24:49Speaker 2: But but you also had children running around your home.
- 24:53Speaker 2: It's probably I mean they were having next because they
- 24:55Speaker 2: had so many children. Right then at some point it
- 24:58Speaker 2: all stopped and him was exhausted from telling the children
- 25:03Speaker 2: how to do all of her work for her.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Yes, she's very tired from looking up from her phone
- 25:08Speaker 1: to tell them to go feed the horses. So she says,
- 25:13Speaker 1: what are you looking for? He says, I'm looking for
- 25:15Speaker 1: a nurturer. And just from experience, I'm not that interested
- 25:20Speaker 1: in alpha females. You know, been there, done that. Yeah,
- 25:25Speaker 1: I'm particularly put off by manipulation. Yeah, yeah, it's not
- 25:34Speaker 1: what is Oh my god, hi hilarious. By the way,
- 25:37Speaker 1: I don't think any woman is going to be, like,
- 25:39Speaker 1: you know, quite a manipulator. Right, there's a guy who
- 25:43Speaker 1: doesn't want a manipulator. Take them off the list.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Also that he said nurturer like he because she's so
- 25:52Speaker 2: fucking cold, like Kim is just cold and not a nurturer,
- 25:58Speaker 2: not a nurturer even for a mother, especially for a
- 26:01Speaker 2: mother of so many children.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Yes, and he says he likes he really likes olive
- 26:08Speaker 1: tone skin. Oh okay, and so not me. I guess
- 26:14Speaker 1: so not not you, Oh you and I are out
- 26:16Speaker 1: of the running. Yeah, and he really likes this Sandra
- 26:20Speaker 1: Bullock look, not olive tone skin. But uh, he didn't.
- 26:26Speaker 1: It is talking has to something about you know that
- 26:28Speaker 1: movie Speed with Keanu Reeves and you couldn't drive under
- 26:32Speaker 1: fifty and you keep driving or you blow. I was
- 26:35Speaker 1: like everything he says feel sexual and it's gross.
- 26:38Speaker 2: Really does doing?
- 26:40Speaker 1: He knows that sometimes he does.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Sometimes he does does.
- 26:44Speaker 1: Sometimes.
- 26:44Speaker 2: It's funny that he's picked like a Sandra Bullock movie
- 26:47Speaker 2: from like thirty years ago.
- 26:49Speaker 1: I'm surprised he saw that movie because they weren't allowed
- 26:51Speaker 1: to watch movies, you know, I know. So she says,
- 26:54Speaker 1: how are your kids going to feel about this? And
- 26:57Speaker 1: he goes, I think they're going to be supportive of
- 26:59Speaker 1: their mom's already shacked up, and he says. She says,
- 27:05Speaker 1: I'd like you to ask each of your kids to
- 27:07Speaker 1: write down three things about you or or does she
- 27:10Speaker 1: say three things that they would want for you? Yeah? Yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 1: he goes, yeah, I'm a single guy in his fifties
- 27:17Speaker 1: with nine children. So I was like wow when you
- 27:21Speaker 1: put it like that, Like wow, but I mean only home.
- 27:26Speaker 1: He doesn't report was there eighteen? No, you're kind off.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I don't even know if he's supporting the other the
- 27:33Speaker 2: ones at home, like just he fighting Kim for that too,
- 27:38Speaker 2: like he only support Wasn't that part of the issue
- 27:42Speaker 2: with the divorce?
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah? And she was like, I'm trying to do this.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I don't have any money. He's like, yeah, it's tough.
- 27:48Speaker 2: It's tough out there.
- 27:49Speaker 1: It's rough out there. Kim sounds like you might need
- 27:52Speaker 1: to work a few more hours at Georgia's. So he says,
- 27:57Speaker 1: you know, I have a lot of concern on what
- 27:59Speaker 1: much might think. Oh, it's interesting, Okay. Now we see
- 28:03Speaker 1: Kim and Isaac walking around the property. For some reason,
- 28:08Speaker 1: they're trying to push over trees, and she explains that
- 28:11Speaker 1: on a property like this, you will come across dead
- 28:13Speaker 1: trees and you have to push them over because God forbid.
- 28:17Speaker 1: If you're riding your ATV you don't want one to
- 28:19Speaker 1: fall on you. You knew it had to come back
- 28:21Speaker 1: to her. I had to come.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, I'm surprised not more of those children are
- 28:27Speaker 2: not like maimed from accidents on the farm, Like, yeah,
- 28:33Speaker 2: we already we had one and then we have the
- 28:36Speaker 2: one with the bb.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Well, Kim has said that that's not how it happened.
- 28:43Speaker 1: That a strong burst of wind came by and a
- 28:48Speaker 1: piece of plastic or glass from a bird feeder flew
- 28:52Speaker 1: off and hit her in the eye. That was the
- 28:55Speaker 1: kind of story that I heard.
- 28:57Speaker 2: That's the thing that happens.
- 28:59Speaker 1: That'd be prett rare, But getting hit in the eye
- 29:02Speaker 1: with the bab is probably more likely, I think. So
- 29:07Speaker 1: either way, it was a farm accident.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I don't think Kim is acting like she lives in
- 29:12Speaker 2: these woods. She is walking through these woods in sandals sandals,
- 29:17Speaker 2: which tells me she does not walk in these woods.
- 29:20Speaker 1: She has walked the eleven feet from the house to
- 29:23Speaker 1: pretend she's deep in.
- 29:25Speaker 2: The woods area to the woods and stops, Yeah, because
- 29:29Speaker 2: she is in full on mom sandals.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Yeah, so always, always, always. She loves a stylish wedge. Okay,
- 29:37Speaker 1: so she asked him about breaking up with Caylin. I
- 29:43Speaker 1: did see Aliciter wrote me and said that they thought
- 29:45Speaker 1: this entire thing with Kaylin was fake for a storyline. Hmmm, Like, oh, well,
- 29:50Speaker 1: Isaac's doing a good job acting then.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean Caylen is not showing a lot
- 29:57Speaker 2: of emotion, but that could just be her personality. Like
- 30:01Speaker 2: did she cry before? Like last season? Did we ever
- 30:04Speaker 2: see her cry or show a lot of emotion.
- 30:06Speaker 1: No, She's very badass, I think. Yeah. Yeah, So I'm
- 30:10Speaker 1: talking to Kim says. I stopped by Barry's house the
- 30:13Speaker 1: other day to drop off the girls, and Caylen was
- 30:16Speaker 1: there and crying. Now was Caylen hanging out with Amber?
- 30:22Speaker 1: Was Caylen talking to Barry? Was Kaylen there crying with Isaac?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Why was Caylen there at Barry's?
- 30:28Speaker 2: So confused? Everyone loves hanging out with Barry though nowadays,
- 30:35Speaker 2: oh dad, my uncle?
- 30:37Speaker 1: And she says, I told her, you know, I'm here
- 30:39Speaker 1: for anything you need. And she later called me and
- 30:41Speaker 1: we talked for a couple of hours, which is Kim's
- 30:44Speaker 1: emo to get close with the girlfriend's uh huh and
- 30:47Speaker 1: then just shit on him the minute she can. So, yeah,
- 30:52Speaker 1: Isaac says, I have a lot of guilt for doing
- 30:56Speaker 1: what I did and breaking up with her. I hope
- 30:58Speaker 1: I can unscrew what I screwed up up and Kim says,
- 31:01Speaker 1: you know, Caitlin is a genuinely kind and good person.
- 31:05Speaker 1: She's the kind of girl I would want for any
- 31:07Speaker 1: of my sons. She's not like that bitch, poor Olivia.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I'm all right, that Colgate demon. Thank god we got
- 31:15Speaker 1: her away from the family. And Isaac says, you know,
- 31:19Speaker 1: I thinkuse she's two and a half years older than me.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I think I was putting pressure on myself about getting
- 31:24Speaker 1: married because I'm only twenty and she's twenty two and
- 31:27Speaker 1: a half. Her eggs are rotting as we speak, right,
- 31:32Speaker 1: And he says, there's a lot I need to think about.
- 31:35Speaker 1: So the talking head Kim has a moment of clarity
- 31:39Speaker 1: where she says, all of my older children have had
- 31:43Speaker 1: a hard time in their relationships. Looking back on how
- 31:47Speaker 1: we raise them, I would change how I think about
- 31:51Speaker 1: sex before marriage. I have a hard time promoting sex
- 31:56Speaker 1: before marriage, but now I think it is better to
- 31:59Speaker 1: have sex before marriage and really get to know who
- 32:02Speaker 1: you're marrying.
- 32:05Speaker 2: So a couple things, Okay, that's a diss on Lydia.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Yep, because and Hosannah and Ethan.
- 32:16Speaker 2: You've just said you totally accept Sack and Lydia now,
- 32:19Speaker 2: but you're still dissing how they did it. Also, that
- 32:25Speaker 2: cannot be your only regret about the way you raised
- 32:28Speaker 2: your children. How about how none of them can pass
- 32:31Speaker 2: a GED or how about how you discourage them from
- 32:35Speaker 2: higher education even though you went to college. Or you
- 32:39Speaker 2: kicked Mariah out of the house as a teenager because
- 32:41Speaker 2: she wanted to show her legs.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's interesting that now she thinks it's okay to
- 32:50Speaker 1: have sex before marriage, because because she.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Wants to have sex before marriage and she wants to
- 32:57Speaker 2: bang someone during her marriage.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Also that she wants to cheat out. So as they walk,
- 33:04Speaker 1: he says, everybody, the whole family thinks I made a
- 33:07Speaker 1: bad decision but breaking up with her, But if I
- 33:09Speaker 1: can get her back, I'm never gonna let her go.
- 33:12Speaker 1: And I know that that would mean marriage way down
- 33:15Speaker 1: the road, and that scares me because I don't know
- 33:18Speaker 1: if I can get her back. Why can't you just date?
- 33:22Speaker 1: Why does it have to mean you're twenty? You know,
- 33:25Speaker 1: but Lydia got.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Married at twenty, So fill instilled the dating, whatever, the
- 33:30Speaker 2: mindful dating to lead to procreation, courting to marriage and
- 33:36Speaker 2: to lead to procreation.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Right, but never forget Kim saying about her daughter the
- 33:42Speaker 1: day before her wedding, she only wants to get married
- 33:44Speaker 1: so she could fuck. Kim said that to Ethan about
- 33:49Speaker 1: his sister, her daughter.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Okay, and she felt like that because you raised her
- 33:53Speaker 2: like that.
- 33:54Speaker 1: She did that because you told her that was the
- 33:56Speaker 1: right thing to do. Okay. Over at Bear, the three
- 34:01Speaker 1: young girls are knitting.
- 34:04Speaker 2: Girls.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Barry is talking to them and he goes, well, girls,
- 34:10Speaker 1: what do you think about old dad getting back out
- 34:13Speaker 1: on the horse and thinking about trying to date? And
- 34:16Speaker 1: they go ew are you on apps? Ew? And he
- 34:21Speaker 1: goes no, no, no, I've got this This gal named
- 34:23Speaker 1: Renee is gonna help me out. And they go okay, good,
- 34:25Speaker 1: it's about time. Yeah, so fine with it. Yeah, they
- 34:28Speaker 1: don't give a shit. They're like, get him out of
- 34:30Speaker 1: here so we can sneak out like regular teenagers. And
- 34:34Speaker 1: the talking dad Amber says, I'd love to see my
- 34:36Speaker 1: dad date somebody, you know, I mean, yeah, I think
- 34:39Speaker 1: it's time. He tells them he has been talking to
- 34:43Speaker 1: Renee with the Elite Dating service and they elite, elite,
- 34:49Speaker 1: and they laugh and they go, it's an app Cabro Georgia,
- 34:53Speaker 1: not an app. So he says to the girls, what
- 34:57Speaker 1: should this woman be like? And they go oh, and
- 35:00Speaker 1: they crank out these qualifications. They say she should like
- 35:05Speaker 1: eighties music or country music or at least tolerate it.
- 35:08Speaker 1: So I mean, not Kim. She has a good sense
- 35:11Speaker 1: of humor kid Kim, adventurous, not Kiv. Likes water activities
- 35:17Speaker 1: probably not Kim. Smart enough to help with math not Kim.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Probably is Kim just refuses, right right, that's good at communicating,
- 35:28Speaker 1: Not Kim. Kim has a motherly side, not Kim. And
- 35:34Speaker 1: ooh what if she likes coffee and has coffee breath
- 35:38Speaker 1: just like Kim?
- 35:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I love it how their their kids, like some
- 35:42Speaker 2: of their things are very frivolous and dumb, and then
- 35:47Speaker 2: some of them are actually like very important and like
- 35:50Speaker 2: very telling.
- 35:52Speaker 1: I love that they said the coffee bread thing because
- 35:53Speaker 1: I think that means Ki Kim has coffee bread. Yeah, yeah, basically.
- 35:58Speaker 2: The opposite of our mother.
- 35:59Speaker 1: That's yeah. Can you find sandrabl like is she free? Yeah?
- 36:03Speaker 1: So the talk and head Barry says, well, this will enlightening.
- 36:08Speaker 2: You know, she should be sick notes. Renee told him
- 36:11Speaker 2: write down three things for each kid.
- 36:14Speaker 1: They did it so fast his head was spinning. He's like,
- 36:18Speaker 1: you guys have obviously been thinking about this. What do
- 36:21Speaker 1: you want your new mommy to be? Like? So Barry
- 36:24Speaker 1: goes like, yeah, my focus is on the girls and
- 36:26Speaker 1: what they think. That's what I have to think of.
- 36:29Speaker 1: All right, I'm like, now, unlike him, Okay, now we're
- 36:32Speaker 1: going to go into something that I'm actually not going
- 36:35Speaker 1: to make fun of. And this is Kim addressing her
- 36:39Speaker 1: weight gain. I know.
- 36:41Speaker 2: I agree. I felt bad because we've all struggled or
- 36:45Speaker 2: had body image issues, absolutely felt good in ourselves and
- 36:49Speaker 2: especially as we get older. Like I do, feel like
- 36:52Speaker 2: she needs to go to a doctor and get a
- 36:54Speaker 2: full hormone check, like y, because she's probably going through menopause.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Or yeah, Kim, Kim was born in seventy two. She's
- 37:04Speaker 1: four years younger than me, which would make her fifty four.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Oh yeah, n through menopause.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, So.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Get your horme runs checked.
- 37:15Speaker 1: You know, you can get a pellet. You could get
- 37:17Speaker 1: a pellet, it would but.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Also she needs she needs a ponytail holder. Because you
- 37:22Speaker 2: cannot do a good enough workout with that claw clip
- 37:26Speaker 2: half in, half out, yeah, droop, and you're not going
- 37:29Speaker 2: to get a sweat that going that way.
- 37:31Speaker 1: And I hate what people exercise with their hair down,
- 37:33Speaker 1: Like what are you doing? No?
- 37:35Speaker 2: Oh, I hate that. That's you evil, that's.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Like animal, what are you doing? Yeah? So she she
- 37:43Speaker 1: says she has put on a lot of weight in
- 37:45Speaker 1: the last four years. She doesn't feel good. She doesn't
- 37:49Speaker 1: like how her clothes fits. She doesn't even like to
- 37:51Speaker 1: look in the mirror. She hates talking about it, you know,
- 37:54Speaker 1: She's like, I want to talk about this. But she's
- 37:57Speaker 1: going to work on turning it around. She's coming up
- 38:00Speaker 1: with a plan to get back in shape. We see
- 38:02Speaker 1: her and her good old chalkboard making a list of
- 38:05Speaker 1: what she's going to do every day.
- 38:07Speaker 2: She needs to slow her role, slow her roles. Sorry
- 38:12Speaker 2: that I have. I'm feeling my roles as I'm saying it. Okay,
- 38:16Speaker 2: I'm squeezing my muffin top. She's she's doing this all wrong.
- 38:21Speaker 2: She's like treating this like a diet that starts right now,
- 38:24Speaker 2: and then she's going to do everything, and she's doing
- 38:26Speaker 2: categories and she needs to go slowly, add one healthy
- 38:31Speaker 2: change at a time, like.
- 38:32Speaker 1: All of that, Yeah, all of it. But we know
- 38:37Speaker 1: that she comes up with things and makes a plan
- 38:40Speaker 1: and then never falls through. And you know, like adults
- 38:42Speaker 1: true roasted.
- 38:44Speaker 2: That was her big roast moment.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Yeah. So she says, it's been hard on me this,
- 38:51Speaker 1: you know, waking. It's been hard on my life and
- 38:53Speaker 1: I'm going to turn it around and do it for myself.
- 38:56Speaker 1: And she says, and you know, I know my hormones
- 38:58Speaker 1: are changing, which makes things. She says that the old
- 39:02Speaker 1: house Berry had installed a ballet bar for her, and
- 39:06Speaker 1: when she lived at the farm before, meaning when she
- 39:08Speaker 1: was married, they all ate healthy and it's been very
- 39:12Speaker 1: easy to get away from it because Linna.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Are not there cooking them food.
- 39:16Speaker 1: How are youbody to cook? Uber? East speed dial? So
- 39:21Speaker 1: again I feel that girl, like I get, I'm not
- 39:22Speaker 1: going to milliate this because this is a struggle man woman.
- 39:26Speaker 1: Everybody can understand.
- 39:28Speaker 2: I have not had a single child and have always
- 39:30Speaker 2: struggled with my weight and food, and she has had
- 39:34Speaker 2: many babies. That is messes with your body even more so,
- 39:39Speaker 2: sort of.
- 39:39Speaker 1: Out of the blue, she says, you know, I used
- 39:42Speaker 1: to do a lot of juicing. I think I'm gonna
- 39:43Speaker 1: you know, I'm gonna go look for that juicer. Now, yeah,
- 39:46Speaker 1: this wasn't producer driven at all. In my mind, I'm like,
- 39:50Speaker 1: which came first here? Right? Did she tell production, Hey, tomorrow,
- 39:56Speaker 1: I want to fill the scene where I'm going to
- 39:59Speaker 1: talk about the changes I'm making and I'm going to
- 40:01Speaker 1: talk about how I'm going to start juicing and blobby blah.
- 40:06Speaker 1: And then did production tell Barry, Hey, you're you're into
- 40:11Speaker 1: like juicing and stuff because you're all healthy, And he's like, oh, yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 1: I used to have one somewhere. The producer got involves
- 40:18Speaker 1: here because there's no way this happened naturally.
- 40:20Speaker 2: It's more likely of the two of them to want
- 40:23Speaker 2: to naturally want to start juicing. Barry, well, Barry, So
- 40:30Speaker 2: I think Barry came first. And then they told Kim,
- 40:36Speaker 2: you've mentioned this season you want to get in shape, So.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Yeah, the Warrior juicer, look for your juicer and let's
- 40:43Speaker 1: see what happens. Yeah, okay, So she asked Ken. She's like, Ken,
- 40:48Speaker 1: have you seen the juicer? So she goes into the
- 40:50Speaker 1: closets looking around. He comes in, He's like no, and
- 40:55Speaker 1: she says what's that And he says that bear he
- 41:00Speaker 1: came by and asked for it, and he basically is like,
- 41:02Speaker 1: it's been in that closet.
- 41:03Speaker 2: For four years, right, He's like a Nazi deer cotton headlights.
- 41:09Speaker 2: She's so scared. He's about to be in trouble.
- 41:11Speaker 1: He's so scared and she and then he goes, no, no,
- 41:15Speaker 1: I was sorry. She goes, well, I guess I have
- 41:18Speaker 1: to take it up with Barry. Then gets her phone
- 41:22Speaker 1: out and he just stands there and the shot is
- 41:25Speaker 1: like he's behind you. Run run because he just stands
- 41:31Speaker 1: there and she looks alert.
- 41:34Speaker 2: He's so awkward.
- 41:36Speaker 1: She looks over and goes, yeah, you can go back
- 41:38Speaker 1: in the living room, okay, and he just just waddles
- 41:42Speaker 1: back to the living room. It's okay. She's so weird.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Any sort of cam redemption story like that.
- 41:52Speaker 1: We just had just now? That was nice.
- 41:55Speaker 2: A mask instantly like slips and she gets so mean
- 42:01Speaker 2: and like scary and like bitchy, and it's it is
- 42:06Speaker 2: just she can't even hide it on her like I
- 42:09Speaker 2: was scared that I took her juicer and and then
- 42:12Speaker 2: she's gonna yell at me to leave the room and
- 42:15Speaker 2: like poor Ken. I can't believe I just said, poor Ken,
- 42:19Speaker 2: But like she just is she tell like literally tell
- 42:22Speaker 2: him when to go to the bathroom too.
- 42:24Speaker 1: Like she said, you can go buy skin.
- 42:26Speaker 2: It's over, you can leave now.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Yeah, sorry, sorry, sorry, I'm gonna go play Jump on
- 42:32Speaker 1: the jukebox. Van Healen. Okay, So now we're in eastern Wisconsin.
- 42:41Speaker 1: Now I just looked up how far is it to
- 42:43Speaker 1: try from Georgia to Wisconsin. It's about fourteen hours. Jesus
- 42:47Speaker 1: these you don't care, Caud that car could drive for
- 42:51Speaker 1: fourteen hours. I would not.
- 42:54Speaker 2: I mean, he is a mechanic, so I think he
- 42:56Speaker 2: feels confident that, yeah, broke down at three am on
- 42:59Speaker 2: this of the road, he could fix it. I was scared,
- 43:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna be murdered, like.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Not no, not him though, yeah, he'd be doing the murdering.
- 43:07Speaker 1: Let's be honest.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, but I remember you and I think you
- 43:11Speaker 2: and Amy were talking about that in one of your
- 43:14Speaker 2: previous recaps when I was listening to last season about
- 43:17Speaker 2: how people in certain areas, like she was talking about Midwest,
- 43:20Speaker 2: people are just like, yeah, let's go to you know
- 43:24Speaker 2: somewhere five states over tomorrow We'll drive sixteen hours, No
- 43:29Speaker 2: big deal.
- 43:31Speaker 1: What my husband's side of the family is like that.
- 43:33Speaker 1: They just everywhere as everywhere is driving.
- 43:36Speaker 2: I don't want to go to LA and it's an hour.
- 43:41Speaker 1: They're like, oh yeah, So the one sister's gonna go
- 43:44Speaker 1: over and see the dad. Like that's a ten hour drive. Well,
- 43:46Speaker 1: she's gonna swing by the other way. Oh kay, I'm
- 43:48Speaker 1: gonna swing by four hours over there.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Yeah what why mind blowing? How did their back so
- 43:55Speaker 2: hold up? They have special seats in their cars.
- 43:59Speaker 1: With the just Davil' sized salt of the earth. Yeah,
- 44:02Speaker 1: hardy stock, hardy stock. I'm not in. So he says, well,
- 44:09Speaker 1: I just packed up two bags tools, two Duffel bags
- 44:12Speaker 1: full of clothes and some cash. All I need, Like.
- 44:16Speaker 2: He's robbing a bank.
- 44:17Speaker 1: It's all I need. And there's a parking lot nearby
- 44:21Speaker 1: by the mall. He's just gonna go over there. It
- 44:23Speaker 1: has been the night, so he just drove straight through.
- 44:27Speaker 2: And he goes planning. I would do if I was
- 44:29Speaker 2: going to I'd be like renting a van or taking
- 44:32Speaker 2: my brother's camper van. Like I'd make sure the windows
- 44:35Speaker 2: blacked out, I'd make sure I plenty of food, like
- 44:37Speaker 2: cell surface, I'd have an emergency locator beacon, like I'd
- 44:41Speaker 2: have Like he's just literally didn't bring a toothbrush. He
- 44:45Speaker 2: brought some wranglers and some black T shirts and he's
- 44:48Speaker 2: gonna lay down in the backseat jendoes that are not
- 44:52Speaker 2: tinted and just anyone can see in.
- 44:56Speaker 1: Okay, he's got a blanket. And he goes, no, like,
- 45:01Speaker 1: I'm not gonna tell her. I'm just gonna find a
- 45:03Speaker 1: place to live and then show her through my actions.
- 45:08Speaker 1: You're going to go to this small town find a
- 45:12Speaker 1: place to live. Sign He keeps saying for January? So
- 45:17Speaker 1: is it December? Is it November? And he plans to
- 45:19Speaker 1: spend December with his family, and like it's unclear, he
- 45:22Speaker 1: keeps saying for January, m is it December thirty first?
- 45:27Speaker 1: Like I don't know.
- 45:29Speaker 2: So he says, you know, we're even talking to her.
- 45:32Speaker 2: You are going to sign a lease on it apartment.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Right, she could fully be dating somebody else.
- 45:37Speaker 2: She could be married, right, right, she could have gone
- 45:40Speaker 2: to Vegas and Dennis shotgun wedding, gotten back with an
- 45:43Speaker 2: ex of hers is she would like does she talk
- 45:46Speaker 2: to the father of her child?
- 45:48Speaker 1: You know? I don't know. So he goes, you know,
- 45:52Speaker 1: when Isaac grows up, broke up with Kayle and made
- 45:54Speaker 1: me think, what the hell is going on with all
- 45:57Speaker 1: of us when it comes to communication and we're relationships
- 46:00Speaker 1: and love, none of us know what we're doing. You know,
- 46:04Speaker 1: you're really supposed to do that in your teen years.
- 46:06Speaker 1: You're supposed to have relationships and learn and uh, you know,
- 46:10Speaker 1: I pretty much like the way I grew up, but
- 46:13Speaker 1: as far as Dayton and relationships, I will not do
- 46:16Speaker 1: it the same way. I mean, it has been a hindrance,
- 46:19Speaker 1: not a benefit.
- 46:20Speaker 2: For sure.
- 46:21Speaker 1: For sure, duh.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Even just going to a public high school for some
- 46:25Speaker 2: of those years, Yeah, yeah, would have made a huge
- 46:29Speaker 2: difference for all of these kids.
- 46:32Speaker 1: So he says, well, being here in Wisconsin, being one
- 46:35Speaker 1: minute away from her house gives me, gives me peace
- 46:40Speaker 1: to know I'm near her. So he calls his mom.
- 46:43Speaker 1: She goes, hey, what's going on? You out working in
- 46:45Speaker 1: the barn? She could a little early start at the
- 46:47Speaker 1: barn And he goes, uh, no, I'm in Wisconsin and
- 46:52Speaker 1: so I don't understand this is where I live now,
- 46:55Speaker 1: I've moved. She's like, it's so weird, But we're good.
- 47:00Speaker 2: I did good at we're getting better at communication.
- 47:02Speaker 1: I thought the barn is half done and uh, he goes,
- 47:09Speaker 1: I'm going to look a look at a written a
- 47:11Speaker 1: place getting some places locked down for January. And she
- 47:14Speaker 1: was like, okay, so you've told Teke and he goes,
- 47:17Speaker 1: noah nahnh. She doesn't know I'm here. And Kim goes, so,
- 47:21Speaker 1: what are the reasons that you're not telling her you're there?
- 47:24Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 47:25Speaker 1: He says, well, I've made plans many times to move
- 47:27Speaker 1: and never did. So I think it's interesting he's not
- 47:29Speaker 1: saying like I said I would move, like he said,
- 47:32Speaker 1: I'm planned to move and never did. So he probably
- 47:36Speaker 1: like got cold feet on signing a lease after they
- 47:38Speaker 1: found a place, and I mean, I think it went
- 47:40Speaker 1: really far and he goes. He goes, so, I just
- 47:42Speaker 1: wanted to lock it down to show her that I'm
- 47:44Speaker 1: doing it. And Kim goes, so your car. You don't
- 47:47Speaker 1: think she's gonna see your car? And he says no,
- 47:51Speaker 1: and she goes, Okay, Ethan, don't like drive by her
- 47:54Speaker 1: house at two in the morning or anything like really
- 47:56Speaker 1: like this is getting creepy. And she said, you know
- 48:00Speaker 1: the worst thing you can do is or the best
- 48:04Speaker 1: thing you're going to be able to do is prove
- 48:05Speaker 1: her wrong by doing what you say you're going to do.
- 48:08Speaker 1: So that'll be that'll be the best outcome. She'll see, Hey,
- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm proving you wrong because I'm doing what you thought
- 48:14Speaker 1: I wouldn't do. But also, the worst case scenario is
- 48:17Speaker 1: she's going to think it's really weird that you're in
- 48:20Speaker 1: town and not telling her it's weird. It's weird.
- 48:23Speaker 2: It's weird driving past her kids' school, stop trying to
- 48:27Speaker 2: pick your care kid up from school. She's like, where
- 48:29Speaker 2: you moved here? You wouldn't tell me? Are you a stalker?
- 48:33Speaker 2: Are you going to kill me?
- 48:34Speaker 1: It's strange.
- 48:35Speaker 2: And I never thought again, listen to Kim, I never
- 48:38Speaker 2: thought those words would come out. But she's giving really
- 48:41Speaker 2: good advice and.
- 48:42Speaker 1: She's like, it's weird, it's weird.
- 48:44Speaker 2: And he says, thinking like a woman, and he.
- 48:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, and he goes, I'm gonna find a place.
- 48:50Speaker 1: And then after I find the place, then I'll tell her.
- 48:54Speaker 1: You have to just just go ahead and let her know.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Go ahead and let her know you're in town.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Yes, please, so her right now.
- 49:01Speaker 1: Yeah, because this is creepy. So he's in the car
- 49:05Speaker 1: with the producer driving, and the producer goes, so, tell
- 49:08Speaker 1: me about this car at nineteen seventy six plumouth. I
- 49:10Speaker 1: don't know what the fuck. I didn't care. Yeah, cars
- 49:12Speaker 1: don't care, And the producer goes, it's very recognizable, and
- 49:16Speaker 1: as production is asking him about it, she drives by.
- 49:20Speaker 1: I paused it and went back, did you.
- 49:23Speaker 2: I posit it too? Yeah?
- 49:24Speaker 1: I lost it it went back to see which car
- 49:27Speaker 1: it was. Oh, and it was like just like a
- 49:31Speaker 1: little black suv. Because he was like, yeah, he followed
- 49:34Speaker 1: that car and he goes, oh, no, sort driving by.
- 49:38Speaker 1: Broke's like, shut up.
- 49:39Speaker 2: What did she see?
- 49:40Speaker 1: You?
- 49:40Speaker 2: Did you lock eyes?
- 49:42Speaker 1: They had to have locked eyes if you saw that car,
- 49:45Speaker 1: it's all that blonde are Nation situation driving it?
- 49:49Speaker 2: Yes, you're seeing she saw like the seventies with a
- 49:54Speaker 2: white blonde cowboy in it, like you with a black
- 49:58Speaker 2: T shirt you fall with.
- 49:59Speaker 1: A camera yes in the car in the front seat. Yes, yes,
- 50:06Speaker 1: because you know the camera guys in the front and
- 50:08Speaker 1: then the producers of the back asking questions.
- 50:10Speaker 2: Yeah, So what the what Kim feared would happen is
- 50:14Speaker 2: exactly what happened.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Within five minutes. Yeah, within five minutes. So next time on,
- 50:21Speaker 1: Barry goes to some sort of CrossFit squat on a
- 50:27Speaker 1: tire situation.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, it's like a booty boot camp, like a
- 50:31Speaker 2: boot camp class in a park.
- 50:33Speaker 1: But god are yeah, God bless everybody who wants to
- 50:36Speaker 1: do cross not gonna not forget me. Barry goes to
- 50:40Speaker 1: work out and two women are saying at our house,
- 50:43Speaker 1: we call him plath daddy, and he does plant daddy.
- 50:47Speaker 2: He's loving it, loves it. These women could probably set
- 50:52Speaker 2: you up with someone.
- 50:53Speaker 1: Oh they have a friend or do they say? He
- 50:54Speaker 1: has nine children? So no, he really sports three.
- 50:58Speaker 2: He only sports three. I mean it's fine.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Amber's two years away from being kicked out. Ethan calls
- 51:07Speaker 1: Tigan and says, hey, I got something for you and uh,
- 51:12Speaker 1: you let me know when you go pick it up,
- 51:14Speaker 1: and she goes, wait, I'm going to pick it up. Yeah.
- 51:19Speaker 1: So I don't know if she didn't see him. Maybe
- 51:21Speaker 1: she's driving her kid to school and was.
- 51:23Speaker 2: I kind of thought he called him and was like, Hi,
- 51:27Speaker 2: like where are you like?
- 51:30Speaker 1: And I wonder if this And here's the thing too,
- 51:34Speaker 1: He's going to get a place because he's going to
- 51:36Speaker 1: get his own place so they can get back together.
- 51:38Speaker 1: But like we know that, like actually he wanted to
- 51:41Speaker 1: get engaged to her and they broke up and then
- 51:43Speaker 1: they're getting together and all this stuff, so I think
- 51:46Speaker 1: he's like he's not moving in with her and her kid,
- 51:48Speaker 1: right all.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Yeah, which I actually do think is better, like take it,
- 51:54Speaker 2: get your own place, don't go right back to like yes, yes,
- 51:58Speaker 2: or right jumping into it.
- 52:01Speaker 1: So that's okay. But what do you think it is
- 52:04Speaker 1: that she's picking up? Is it like a copy of
- 52:07Speaker 1: his lease.
- 52:08Speaker 2: Or I think yeah, he's or he's just trying to
- 52:11Speaker 2: do it in a cute way where she's like picking
- 52:13Speaker 2: it up and he's like, yeah, I'm here now, and
- 52:16Speaker 2: he stands outside with the jukebox.
- 52:19Speaker 1: Boombox boom.
- 52:22Speaker 2: Would be hard to pick up Ken's Ken's box.
- 52:27Speaker 1: It's like an extra key to his apartment or something
- 52:29Speaker 1: like that.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Oh that would be good. Darcy would love that.
- 52:34Speaker 1: She would start crying. Caylin and Isaac are sitting in
- 52:39Speaker 1: the car and she tells Isaac, I'm gonna tell you
- 52:43Speaker 1: something I know myself worth and I don't take a
- 52:46Speaker 1: bull cry out, and he goes, I'm just asking for
- 52:49Speaker 1: a second chance. And she says, I don't give second chances,
- 52:55Speaker 1: but I think she does. I think she.
- 52:57Speaker 2: I think she probably does because we saw second chances.
- 53:01Speaker 2: Just don't give third or fourth chances. Like, Okay, let's see,
- 53:06Speaker 2: there they are, but there they are in their promotion pick.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Yeah, there they are.
- 53:11Speaker 2: But I do admire her knowing her self worth. I
- 53:15Speaker 2: love that. This is so stupid. Got he's Fred Mercury.
- 53:23Speaker 1: See this picture. It looks like they put his head
- 53:27Speaker 1: aied onto his own body. But it's a strange picture.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Okay, And he has one foot up with his boots.
- 53:35Speaker 2: He's doing like a dance post like when I was
- 53:37Speaker 2: in dancer titles and it would be like kick up
- 53:39Speaker 2: the one foot.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, oh my god. Currently and I have talked
