- 0:00[SPEAKER_09]: You've lived a sinner's life, now you've died a sinner's death.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_09]: Cruel, cruel fate has cast you down to the wretched belly of the earth.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_09]: As your soul is mired with the burdens of your lived life, you begin to sink deeper, drowning.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_09]: But before you give up your fist from the briny depths of hell's oceans, our figure stands above you and reaches down a nodded hand, as you cough and sputter the salt water from your lungs, the figure calls themselves.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_09]: You're captain.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_10]: Hello and welcome to my first dungeon presents, Hellwailers, I am your guide and captain, Shenuk Tistera.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: Woohoo!
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: Woohoo!
- 0:57[SPEAKER_10]: And joined by with me, joined by me, who cares, joined by me, a damned crew.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, I'm starting with Abby Hepworth.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_03]: Hello!
- 1:08[SPEAKER_10]: Brian Flarity.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_09]: A vast G-M-A-T-E-E-S. Oh, show us.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_10]: And wait, is that Elliot Dave?
- 1:16[SPEAKER_10]: No.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_10]: No, wait, they sound brown.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_10]: That's definitely, but did you have a lady?
- 1:22[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_06]: You are.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_06]: It's me, Brown replacement.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_06]: But he just has a lady.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_05]: They do be calling me brown Elliot.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_05]: The streets of New York.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know if that's made it to you.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_05]: That's right.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_05]: That's right.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_05]: That's really funny.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_05]: That's it all.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_10]: Shout out Elliot Davis, who is producing this season of My First Dungeon.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_10]: Wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh-wh
- 1:47[SPEAKER_10]: We love you, Elliot.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_10]: How are we feeling about Hellwailers, guys?
- 1:51[SPEAKER_06]: Well, so excited.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_10]: Feeling good, feeling pious.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_05]: Pious.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_06]: Feeling pious.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_05]: It was running right in.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_05]: Not feeling sinful.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_10]: Sinfully a judicial.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_10]: What religion did we all grow up with?
- 2:05[SPEAKER_10]: Just got a curiosity for you jumping.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_08]: Catholicism, baby.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_08]: Good cat, like a good cat, like boy.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_08]: I'm ready for this game.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, Ryan was prepared.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_08]: But famously, not confirmed.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_08]: Famously.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_08]: Famously.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_08]: Ever got confirmed.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_03]: Everyone knows it.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, this is actually the stock in the past 20.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_06]: I need like, I have to expect the story involves you like, almost being confirmed and then running over the last second.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_03]: The devil popped out of Helen said, No, he's mine.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_03]: And that's how we ended up with Godcasting.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_08]: The priest threw holy water on me.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_08]: I was able to stay on the mortal coil, but there's nothing else I can do.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_08]: I'm damn to hell.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_08]: I've seen that happen.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_06]: That's really fun.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_06]: That's really cool.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_06]: So you've proved the Christian hell.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I saw it briefly.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_08]: And then I got pulled back up.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_03]: So it really doesn't matter what the rest of us had going on because.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_08]: What did you, what'd you grow up at?
- 3:09[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, I grew up in the Hindu.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_06]: That's what my family raised me as.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_08]: I saw a bit going on too long and I had to end it.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_06]: I just loved the point in this.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_10]: I thought you were getting him back for confronting your Catholicism.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_10]: And then Abby, what do you, what do you?
- 3:33[SPEAKER_03]: Um.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_03]: Nothing, but the fun version of that is my sister when she was little our best friends live next door and they went to Catholic school and we went to public school and when she was I don't know when like second grade or something, somebody asked her like what religion are you and she said public.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_03]: She didn't understand that public school just meant the free education your country provides for taxes.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_03]: That's really good.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_10]: That's really good.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_10]: That's the best answer.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm public.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_03]: I grew up public.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_06]: You grow a public.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, my best friend was public.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_10]: That's so cool on that note on public.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_10]: I'm Catholic and we should say that this season we are proud to be sponsored by plus one EXP as we dive into the religious horror TTRP G hellwailers.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_10]: This game tells the tale of cursed whalers hunting a monstrous whale through hell for salvation of their eternal souls.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_04]: Hell yeah.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_08]: Get Moby Dick and Dante's in front of all rolled into one, baby.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_03]: They do have, yes.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_03]: You can remember time stories from going up.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_08]: I've actually never read either of them.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_10]: I've only heard stories of both of those, but they're good.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_10]: They're good, so I've heard.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_06]: Bedtime stories, yeah.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_06]: You were told that several times, they've just turned through Moby Dick.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_03]: That's what they teach in public school.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_10]: And it is Pinocchio.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_04]: Pinocchio.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_04]: Pinocchio.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_10]: Why don't we talk really quick about some safety tools before we jump into getting the session zero kicked off?
- 5:14[SPEAKER_10]: This game, as with any TTRPG, we use our safety tools.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_10]: This one is a little bit kooky because we're talking about like religious horror, gambling, deep butter violence, and more cruelty.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_10]: There's a ton of stuff kind of baked into the game, so maybe it actually
- 5:32[SPEAKER_10]: Generally, my first bunch of me use lines and bills and the X card is or anything else that folks want to bring up as like this game does involve like gambling or can involve gambling, can involve religious horror.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I vote yes on the gambling.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_10]: Pro gambling.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_04]: Pro gambling.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_04]: Pro gambling.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to owe card gambling.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, card.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_08]: Now I'm excited to get into some some religious horror.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like that's not a space that we've ever really TROD on this video.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we're just horror.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_10]: It's gonna be kind of fun.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I do enjoy a religious horror a lot.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, like I've just watched all the Conjuring movies recently and I'm like, oh, Whoa, these are great.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_08]: These are great.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_10]: You did pretty cool.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_10]: You came correct for me.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_06]: I was like, yeah, it's great.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think so.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_06]: No, you know, have like some horror franchises aren't actually that scary.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_06]: But I've always felt like the, I always feel like I hear the conjuring is like they're fucking, they're good, they're good, they're good, you want a spook, it's a good spook.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's a great spook.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_10]: It's, it's, uh, I think like, maybe not a scary now, it like, because like it's been a few years since the first one, but like in terms of like jump scares, they're doing a good job back when they first came out.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_10]: back in the olden days back in 2017 back in my day we scored the theaters for the country yeah back in back in the theater days but Abby I do want to check in with you because I know you are particularly against animal cruelty in a way that makes sense this game doesn't like involve like a I can't like a in-game kind of like fighting of like fishing where you're
- 7:21[SPEAKER_10]: for animals.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_03]: What was going to say by name alone, I recognize there must be violence against Wales.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_03]: That's right.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_10]: Totally, totally.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_10]: Just one will.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_03]: Just what, maybe just the one.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_10]: A singular, perhaps a singular will.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_10]: Well, who's to say?
- 7:38[SPEAKER_10]: That's true.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_03]: Who's to say?
- 7:40[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like the rest of it.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it's a thing that I don't love, but I feel like I sort of, if it's more of a veil or trot lately, and then I will use X if I feel I need to, but I feel like I trust the level that you make it into and, um, rudely, I care a little less about fish.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_03]: And that's me.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_08]: I love how in like every fantasy world where like there are like animals or sentient or like animals are and from more fun.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_08]: Everyone just kind of gets behind like na fish or still food like fish or food.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, there's like yes.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_10]: And like they, I was like being somewhere like they feel it, like they feel all the same things and like it was worse for them.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_10]: Like some, I read some shit, whatever.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_10]: That was a while ago.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_10]: And I mean, fish are alive and they know being right.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_10]: Like it's not right.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_03]: It's, I'm being mean by being, is it?
- 8:39[SPEAKER_03]: I want to make a joke about being pescatarian when it comes to animal violence.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_11]: That's really good.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_10]: That's really good.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_10]: This is when PETA comes for Abby.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_10]: But I'm a bit scared of wilds, but I am a pesqueterian.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_06]: I am a pesqueterian.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_10]: It is just very, very good.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, great.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_10]: So, be pesqueterian when it comes to lines and bales.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_05]: Put that great.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_05]: Put that in bales.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_10]: And, Vinnie, we've never actually played a game on Mike together.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_10]: Are there any particular lines, bales, or things you want to like, just take off the table, or...
- 9:22[SPEAKER_06]: Especially because this is like kind of like a hell and sailor's and it's like going to be a little gringing weird.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_06]: I don't think there's anything in particular that's coming to mind that's like, let's cool.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_06]: Put it on the table.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_06]: I, I was thinking about it.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_06]: I think I'm good.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_06]: I think I'm fine.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, cool.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_10]: So all my Sri Lanka's better than India content is good for you.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_10]: All right, rock on, dude, we're doing great.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_06]: I can't say otherwise, didn't you?
- 9:58[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, say something, dude, say something.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_10]: So those were our lines and bills.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_10]: Are we ready to jump into some character creation?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_04]: Let's do it.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_10]: I'll make a salty sea dog.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_10]: We're going to make the sea boys.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_03]: It's what we should call our crew.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_06]: There's all these sea boys.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_03]: There's all these sea boys.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_10]: If y'all look on page by Salt's Elliott's suggested salty semen,
- 10:27[SPEAKER_08]: No, we all saw that joke and we all decided it was beneath us.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_10]: So yeah, on page five there are some player principles in the book that I think will help guide you and create in your character because you're playing little hell people.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_10]: So as you play, try to let your character embody each of these principles, boldness in the face of danger.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_10]: loyalty to the ship and captain.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm the captain.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_10]: So that means loyalty to me.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, that one's going to be tough.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_10]: You know, yeah, I'm trying to find that.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_10]: I bet drive to save your soul.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_10]: Go get that whale.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_10]: That's really what that means.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_03]: I need it.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_10]: Engage with the core premise of this game.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_10]: Engage with the game.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_10]: and cooperation with your fellow whalers.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_10]: Y'all are all on the same quest to cooperate, but also play true to your characters.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_10]: You're all playing people who are in hell, and there's a reason you're in hell.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_10]: Have fun with that.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe it was a mistake.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that, that God got it wrong as a funny premise.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_10]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 11:56[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like, yeah, I kind of like the concepts of all them.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_06]: I might be leaning.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_06]: I might be leaning towards the greedy, because I was like, either the pious or the greedy.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_08]: I was also the pious or the greedy.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_08]: Tell us who that's the greedy.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_06]: Hell isn't so bad as long as you know what to do.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_06]: Devil's torture in discriminately and there's not a shortage of skate goods here.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_06]: They say only an evil man thrives in hell, but you're not nearly as bad as the one who put you here.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_06]: There's very few things that are valuable in hell, but as in life, as in death, and if anything can make your situation better, you want it, you need it.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_06]: After all, this is hell, and no one is going to help you, but you.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_06]: and the way I think there's something fun about being like a selfish son of a bitch in hell.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like I always love the playground economy episodes of every like kid show, like the episode of recess would they like trade cards and this feels like that.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_08]: Hell isn't so bad as long as you know how to make the best of it.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_03]: Do you love playing like a like an underground salesman?
- 12:57[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I feel like if you look at the characters that I made on the show, they're mostly peddling some kind of way.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_10]: You love something.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_06]: I love your really peddler, poor peddler, maxing.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_06]: Love peddler, maxing.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_08]: I love having a little shop, even though it's never conducive to a good adventure.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_08]: It's something to play.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_10]: You love a little, like, uh, like, uh, what's the word?
- 13:26[SPEAKER_10]: an inventory to keep stock of.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_08]: That's the thing.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like every time we play a game, I care so little about the inventory on a character sheet, but I do desperately care about having a thing to sell.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_08]: Somehow I care.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_08]: I look at that box on a character sheet.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_08]: I'm like, that doesn't matter at all.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_08]: But all I want to do is fill it up.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_10]: It doesn't.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_10]: That's fair.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_10]: That's fair.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_10]: I'm going to just Abby goes first because Abby,
- 13:53[SPEAKER_10]: I want to hear what you think of your character and what you want to play and if you need some time I can kind of explain the playbook a little bit if you want a minute.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm kind of deciding between the guilty and the haunted.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_04]: Ooh, good.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_03]: both of which quite fun, guilty, you are in hell and you deserve it.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_03]: You are, you know what you've done.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_03]: And do you feel kind of out about it?
- 14:19[SPEAKER_03]: Is the general sense I'm getting?
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_03]: And the haunted is the lead demon boy from K Pop Demon Hunter.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_03]: I would like to play K-pop whale hudders.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_10]: It's so funny that for me, my prep was watching the Conjuring for Abbey was watching K-pop demon hudders.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_10]: It's incredible.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_10]: I love both those choices for you.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_10]: I think those are really great.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_10]: And also there are two playbooks in the book of Leviathan that you can choose from as well.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_03]: I did not get a chance to look at those.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_03]: What are they?
- 14:55[SPEAKER_10]: they are the abomination and the returned.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_10]: The abomination, they'd a test you for what you are.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_10]: Had you always been this way?
- 15:02[SPEAKER_10]: A shell of chitin, fumbling pincers, and a begiling emptiness inside.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_10]: A hollow hunger that is only slacked in the fleeting moments you feed your abhorrent nature.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_10]: Ells tortures are myriad, but the desires within you are pulling you to implode with your vacuous swamp.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_10]: You need, and this is as painful as any bevels whip.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_08]: And then the return is more for like, if you if your character dies during a game, it's like, yeah, we have a Okay, you do you do you do you can only really pick it if you die, right?
- 15:35[SPEAKER_06]: That's yeah, I think that's what it's intended to be I'm feeling really me the most sense.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_06]: I do like the concept of it, but I was like Doesn't feel like you should start with it
- 15:44[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it's a fun idea.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_08]: Abby, I have to be so clear, though.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_08]: If you end up being the K-pop demon hunter, ahead of the soccer boys, we can't make K-pop music.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_08]: For the show, we don't have the button on the screen.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_03]: I want to ask you that I play him.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just giving the listener a sense of what the haunted, what their whole thing is is you can't get your sins out of your head
- 16:13[SPEAKER_08]: Mm-hmm.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_08]: No, I know, but I saw you thinking.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_03]: I was never.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_08]: That's like, yeah, generating ideas.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_03]: Where's my cat sinks?
- 16:21[SPEAKER_10]: So that was a fun test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test test
- 16:42[SPEAKER_03]: You're in hell and you deserve it.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_03]: I know.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_03]: I know that I'm here for a reason, baby.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_03]: You're in hell and you deserve it.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_03]: The people you hurt, the crimes you committed, each sin weighs on you like an invisible chain dragging you to the bottom of this infernal cesspool where you belong.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_03]: That's what you tell yourself anyway.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_03]: They say good deeds don't matter in hell that repentance is
- 17:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yet what other recourse exists within your tortured mind?
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: You accept the Lord's punishment, strive for forgiveness, and perhaps one day your guilt will be absolved.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_10]: Big, six, you're a good one, fucker dude.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_03]: That's awesome.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_03]: That's awesome.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_03]: That's awesome.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_10]: That's awesome.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's awesome.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's awesome.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_06]: That's awesome.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_06]: That's awesome.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_06]: That's awesome.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_06]: That's awesome.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_06]: That's awesome.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_10]: That's awesome.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_10]: That's awesome.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_10]: That's awesome.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_10]: That's awesome.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_06]: I like the idea of feeling like, like, like, yeah, I'm in fuckin' hell, you know?
- 17:45[SPEAKER_06]: Like, and I think that can either be the wearys, like, ugh, hell, am I right?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_06]: Or like, the greedy, just another monday.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, am I right?
- 17:56[SPEAKER_06]: You know, it's just like a little, because I think, like, I'd play the greedy, different than what you were describing.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_06]: Or like, this, this, like, idea of somebody who manages things, I think I am.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_06]: I'm not selling things.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_06]: I'm trying to get things is kind of the idea.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_06]: Because I like to do bargains, but I'm more like, I'm more like, nah, there's like shit here, you know?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_06]: Like it's all about a little things that make hell worth it.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_06]: You know, have you ever seen a, have you seen a toe, a severed toe?
- 18:26[SPEAKER_06]: I have like 15 of them.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_06]: That's, I trade toes.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_06]: It's weird.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_06]: It's an old trail of toe economy.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_06]: I do.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_06]: I do.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_08]: You at some point heard the phrase you can't take it with you.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_08]: After you're done, you're like,
- 18:45[SPEAKER_10]: that's fun I like that a lot you have an idea there the guy that takes things that like you have 70 toes that's great why you can't handle that many toes dude don't have that kind of pulling a bit more fun tons like trading cards tons of that's gross your yuckers
- 19:08[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like you get you got a lot of puns to do with toes though, toe the line you do Toad line tento's name and other.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_08]: You're 70 shows in just dip in a toe tento's name and other one.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_06]: We'll give you one more tento's down.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_10]: Okay Totally oh page and toe Bunyan
- 19:32[SPEAKER_03]: This is a lot of dope.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_05]: There's a lot of dope stuff.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_10]: There's a lot of feet stuff for the freaks.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_10]: Wait, so many.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_10]: What playbook are?
- 19:42[SPEAKER_10]: Are you so?
- 19:43[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, let's do the greedy.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_10]: The greedy.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_06]: Hell isn't so bad.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_06]: So long as you know what to do.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_06]: Devils torture indiscriminately and there's not a shortage of scapegoats here.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_06]: They say only an evil man thrives in hell.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_06]: They're not nearly as bad as the one who put you here.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_06]: There's very few things that are valuable in hell, but as in life, as in death.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_06]: And if anything can make your situation better, you want to, you need it.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_06]: After all, this is hell.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_06]: And no one is going to help you, but you.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_04]: He said it.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_04]: He said it.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_11]: Hell, whalers, yeah.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_10]: All right, but it here is the greedy and that leaves Brian Flaherty, who will you be playing my dear friend?
- 20:33[SPEAKER_08]: I have been on the kick lately of like picking the playbook with a class that isn't the thing I normally pick?
- 20:42[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, so I feel like if if this was D&D I'd be like, oh, cleric or barred, but I wouldn't be Warlock or sorcerer, so I'm trying to I'm trying to move towards directions of things that are Weirder for me, and I feel like since we're doing hell doing hellwailers.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_08]: I'm doing the pious
- 21:00[SPEAKER_10]: I thought you were like playing something weird and you're gonna be like, I'm an abomination.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_08]: I was like hell yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 21:21[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think especially because we're doing religious horror, I want to like lean into that and you know like yeah Let's I've never a therapy that I'd be role-playing game before let's let's That cat like school for yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah That's a work that education to you know not cat you didn't go to Catholic so you just were Catholic.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, just yeah, just raise Catholic.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it was just me that did that cool
- 21:44[SPEAKER_10]: Cool.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_10]: Cool.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_10]: So the Pious, do you want to read the Pious for us, my friend?
- 21:50[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, the Pious.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_08]: Prayer, strengthens the soul.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_08]: It guards against suffering and delivers peace.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_08]: True in life and true in death.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_08]: The ball of the soul brings comfort even in the torments of eternal damnation.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_08]: God is great and God is just.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_08]: He provides the means of salvation to His flock and fervent hope in His holy name will prevail against the trials of hell.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_08]: These these are struggle and hears our prayers all is part of His holy plan.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_10]: Damn, that's Catholic as hell dude, Catholic as hell.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_08]: And it's also like not a thing.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not particularly pious at this point in my life.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_08]: And so it'll be fun to kind of play into that, I think.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_08]: I'll be, you know, just to explore that side of life.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_10]: It'll prep you for a turn in your 50s when you may want to be religious or something.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_03]: You'll think back on this moment.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_08]: There is a strange thing that happens soon about maybe like once every couple months that I think about just on a Sunday, just going to a St. Patrick Cathedral and going to Mass.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that's because you like St. Patrick's Cathedral.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_08]: I do, I mean, it's a gorgeous cathedral.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_08]: My grandparents got married there.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_10]: I totally get that.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_10]: I, uh, they're like sometimes I'm like, doing something in my day and I'm like, should I?
- 23:07[SPEAKER_10]: Should I pray?
- 23:07[SPEAKER_10]: Should I, should just, like, I got to the gym the other day.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_10]: I get that.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_10]: And I was just like, should I just say an hour father?
- 23:12[SPEAKER_10]: No, no, that's crazy.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_10]: That's crazy.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_03]: I, I will pray over them by steps.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, so you've all selected your playbooks, your playbook outlines the abilities and characteristics of your sailor, each playbook has a lure and lures award you a soul when like that type of interaction takes place and everyone has one.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_10]: They'll get you souls and souls are essentially your currency in the game.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_10]: You'll earn them.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_10]: You'll spend them to do moves sometimes.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_10]: You'll gamble them at some point.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_10]: And once you have enough, your souls will summon the hell whale.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_10]: So this is a pretty valuable little currency.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_10]: And like basically is the the like token you want.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_10]: And if you look at your playbook, you can see like you all have an inventory which you all think one of in just a moment.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_10]: There are strong moves, regular moves and weak moves.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_10]: Strong moves will lose you one soul.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_10]: regular moves you can do whenever, and weak moves will get you a soul.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_10]: So really, and weak moves are things that like really succumb to who you are.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_10]: So like, if you're greedy, it's a coming to that, that greed.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_10]: If it's your pious, it's coming to piousness.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_08]: Your guilty, it's a coming to your guilt.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_08]: For me, my strong, like, a strong move is strike with righteous fervor, and a weak move is sin as all men do.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, yeah, but yeah, if you've played like your zabas or wander home, this is like the same system as what's it called, uh, long as I belong.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_10]: You know, it's a long outside, long outside, long and yeah, long as I'm on.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's really just that system with the souls.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, and I'm just really the the lures.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_08]: When so from from my my lore is when someone reaffirms your moral compass, they gain a soul.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_08]: So we're trying to get other people's lures.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_06]: That's what it is.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so lures give souls to other people.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_06]: I also just double Chuck, they all are they gain.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_10]: So every time a lure happens, you'll, yes, that person will put that interaction that person can solve.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_10]: And when you succumbed to your own, I guess, flaw, which is like greed or kindness or whatever, you will gain a soul.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_10]: Because that usually is a weak move.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_01]: God.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_01]: I agree.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_10]: It's like take what is in yours.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_10]: You'll gain a soul by doing that.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_10]: So like every toe, Vettie's like a gay, he gains a soul from that.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_06]: So you can absolutely, Yeah, because I will, because it's something obsessively.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_08]: The, the loser really cool because it, in order like, because what I'm going to want to do, I'm going to want to get a bunch of souls.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_08]: So I can do stuff with them.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_08]: Like I can do my strong moves.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_08]: We can get closer to the hell.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_08]: And one of the good ways to do that is to like, reaffirms someone else's choice in their playbook.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_06]: It's also kind of reaffirming the the the problem they have, right?
- 25:55[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, it's not just like that it's kind of like almost you're doing a week move for them is what it is like the hot the hot temperate none of us have is when someone stands by your split second decision they gain a soul so it's like being hot temperate and somebody goes yeah, let me
- 26:14[SPEAKER_06]: Let me jump on that with you, then they're kind of doing that with you.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_03]: It's interesting, though, because as the guilty, mine is sort of like a solve of that.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_03]: It's when someone affirms something isn't my fault.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, fun.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_03]: So they're swaging me of my guilt.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_10]: Hmm.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_10]: I feel like that can go both ways for like a guilty person of like, some, like, it's not your fault, but like, what if it is?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_10]: Like, what if it's like just affirming your bad behavior?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I see very fun.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_06]: Because, yeah, I guess like, no, I could see that because like one of your weaknesses try to fix something that isn't yours to fix or take the blame.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_06]: And so it's like, do you then play into like, oh, you know, I'm sorry I didn't do that.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_06]: And somebody just goes like, stop fucking apologize.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_06]: I see.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_10]: Are you a murderer or are you just being a fighter?
- 27:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 27:05[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, you can play this so many ways, Abby.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_10]: It's such a fun, the vagueness is very fun in that.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_08]: It's also really cool, especially for, like, piousness, I think, is so, like, black and white.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_08]: It's either you're doing good or you're doing evil.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_08]: And all of the ways I get souls are, like, literally sin as a woman.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_07]: turn it away from the light.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_07]: Take easy way of cast to get yourself ask why is he forsaken us?
- 27:29[SPEAKER_03]: Like, make a short cut.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_08]: Like, that is such a Brian coded playbook.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_08]: It actually, I've kind of actually stumbled into something that is exactly me.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_10]: I just read the opening topic, and I was like, so funny, because you were like, this isn't me, I'm like, Brian, this is totally, you know, we all end up where we were meant to be.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_08]: Well, one set of footprints in the sand, am I right?
- 27:53[SPEAKER_10]: Well, let's, why don't we jump into asking you guys some questions about your, uh, little monster.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_04]: There are questions.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_10]: Well, regular people in hell, Brian, you're going to go first.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_10]: What is the name for your wailer?
- 28:07[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, no, the hardest question for her.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I have come with a name first.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_10]: Or do you want to go, okay, I can go in reverse order, Brian, how did you say they're die?
- 28:19[SPEAKER_08]: I'm so sorry.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_08]: That's not what it says in the playbook.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_08]: It says fuck you.
- 28:23[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, okay.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_05]: I'll do it.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_05]: Come on.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_09]: There's so much flemmy.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_09]: That is required in the place.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_09]: And how did he shuffle off the mortal coil?
- 28:36[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, okay.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_08]: How would someone who is
- 28:44[SPEAKER_08]: I want to go like we love like deep prayer and like something in that realm.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_06]: I have a suggestion.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, hit me.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_06]: Perhaps like you were so deep in prayer, you... Like, or like, you were putting up ad situation.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_06]: Let's say like the church was on fire and you were like, God will save me if I just pray.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_08]: And then I was gonna say, this is that that parable of the faithful man who the storm coming and someone says,
- 29:21[SPEAKER_08]: and the guy says, no, no, no, I'm a pious man.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_08]: I believe in God.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_08]: I pray every day.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_08]: God will protect me.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_08]: The storm comes and starts to flood.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_08]: And I'm sitting on top of his roof and a boat comes by and the boatman says, hey, would you like us to pick you up?
- 29:34[SPEAKER_08]: Like, you know, we're getting out of here.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_08]: There's no, no, no, I'm a faithful man or a penitent man.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_08]: God will save me, God will divide and book us away.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_08]: And then finally, as he's standing on the very tip of the chimney, the last moment, a helicopter comes by and, you know, radios down.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, we can pick you up here, grab the rope.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_08]: There's no, I'm a faithful man, I'm a penitent man.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_08]: I believe in God, God will save me.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_08]: And then he drowns it and gets to the probably dates and goes, God, why didn't you save me?
- 30:00[SPEAKER_08]: God says, I just say you're a news bulletin, a boat, and a helicopter.
- 30:03[SPEAKER_08]: What the hell were you doing?
- 30:07[SPEAKER_08]: That's pretty good.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_08]: That's like it's a good parable.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_08]: That's that's a hundred percent of it.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_08]: I kind of think I want to go um hurricane.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_10]: I feel like storm.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's especially that's what that's exactly what you're the you're the person in the parable.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_10]: Like that I'm totally the person in the parable.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_08]: That's yeah.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_08]: I'm fully the I'm fully the guy from the parable and I think it's it's got caught in like a hurricane so it's also like I feel like that's what
- 30:32[SPEAKER_08]: Hellwaley wants to be it wants to be storms on the high seas here.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, that's really good Vinnie, do you ask what time like error?
- 30:40[SPEAKER_10]: We're in yeah, like what time it could be any air like you could have been here for millennia You could be here for as any matter of time you want so you can oh we could be all different air.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you can be all different airs of all interesting Okay, we could have one k-pop demon hunter I didn't do it this time Brian did
- 31:00[SPEAKER_08]: that's true.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_08]: I saw the bed and I had to continue it.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_10]: It's good.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_10]: Cool.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_10]: So you are the parable, the guy from the parable who died in a hurricane.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_10]: What are what are your shipweed duties?
- 31:15[SPEAKER_08]: Ooh, I think I'm scrubbing the deck.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_08]: But yeah, I'm like full cleaning and organization.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_08]: Kind of like the boeson, I guess, like keeping track of everything.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_08]: I think it's a care of the physical space.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_10]: Classic, Brian job.
- 31:30[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it feels very self-lageulating to just be doing the same task over and over again.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, very good.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_10]: Can you tell us what?
- 31:40[SPEAKER_08]: What do you look like?
- 31:42[SPEAKER_08]: But in my head, he's a priest, but I don't know if I actually wanted to be a priest.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_03]: Whereas he's not, he just dresses like what?
- 31:52[SPEAKER_08]: He found the gardens.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that's actually pretty funny.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_08]: I'll still bet.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_08]: He's very priestly garments.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_08]: I think it was like maybe he had gone to seminary school very in about Catholic, but never quite made that jump.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_08]: Like kind of always daydreamed about being so pious that he was a priest, but never actually didn't either work to do that.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_08]: important question does he tell like when people are like oh father does he correct them or did he let them think that he's a priest I think he doesn't tell anybody but he doesn't correct anybody yeah yeah okay good which is a great uh this is a great slippery slope for hell yeah yeah yeah yeah oh i love this i got a little rain into being a bad guy
- 32:39[SPEAKER_08]: every every time I make a character I want him to be like a shining good boy.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_10]: That's not gonna be, you're really, you're really setting yourself to play a real piece of shit, which is gotta be flawed.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_10]: Um, and how do we refer to you, parentheses, pronouns?
- 32:56[SPEAKER_10]: Uh, him.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_10]: And finally, what's the name of your wailer?
- 33:02[SPEAKER_08]: And I want like a real, I don't, I don't think Ignatius is right, but like Matthias or
- 33:09[SPEAKER_08]: What's so much of my thighs is very good.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_08]: Matthias is close.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_10]: Is there a name like, did they give that guy in the Catholic parable?
- 33:16[SPEAKER_10]: Did they ever give him a name at some point?
- 33:19[SPEAKER_10]: I don't think so.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I don't think we don't, we don't name people in those parables.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: Because they stand in for us all.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like...
- 33:30[SPEAKER_08]: Mathias.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_08]: I'm sure there is a great biblical reference.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_08]: I could pull.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_08]: I could just be joe.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_08]: You'll be joe.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_08]: Mathias is great though.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to do Mathias.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_08]: It's what came to me first.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_10]: Joan is also good.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_08]: Oh Joan is really good also.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_08]: I'm going to go Mathias.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_08]: It's what came to me first.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_10]: Hot Breast, okay.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_10]: Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
- 34:19[SPEAKER_10]: uh cool video why don't we jump to you yeah and we'll start from the bottom as well uh how did you how did you shuffle off the mortal coil
- 34:29[SPEAKER_06]: I think it's gotta be, I mean, they're a petty thief or a gambling addict, I think it could be one of the other parking lot's those, how I died though is, I kind of also wanted to be kind of stupid, I like, I like the idea that I died in a way that I, so did not need to, and it was, it was the same hurricane, same house, same room, same house, it was really weird, you know, they rebuilt it.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_06]: The chimney was a little smaller though.
- 35:00[SPEAKER_06]: That died much quicker.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_06]: So I like the idea that I maybe like play in a game.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe I was gambling or something.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_06]: And then I just go, woo, no, no, no, no.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_06]: Let me just find something and then I just get shot.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, or I'm trying to steal.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_06]: No, you know, I think that's just what it is.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, it's not Long or drawn out.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_06]: It's just I try and take something from the wrong person.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_06]: It's I'm like, well, it always works out for me, but this time it's just nope.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_06]: And then they stab me in the eyes.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_06]: I'm sorry.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_10]: You stole from the wrong person.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_06]: I just over the wrong person.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_06]: I do want, I do kind of want some, I go to hell with whatever, like, like, I'm missing an eye or I'm like, I have like, fucking you.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, like, something that's like, oh, yeah, now I like, I kind of don't have an ear because they're fucking they cut your ear off.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, whatever you want.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_10]: That's totally cool.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 36:04[SPEAKER_06]: I do.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_10]: That's fun.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_06]: What are your
- 36:12[SPEAKER_06]: Quartermaster let me be so they put me in The family way all the shit They just won't let me be quartermaster They won't I can't be trusted with the keys is really the problem.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_06]: Mm-hmm.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_06]: Maybe I just like I do ropes and things.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_10]: I do ropes I do ropes.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, totally you can be the rope guy.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_05]: I'm the rope guy.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's the rigor, but he calls it the rope guy
- 36:39[SPEAKER_05]: It's the regular, that's the default.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_08]: I think so.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_08]: I think that's what it is.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_08]: Also right now, in my notes, I just have Viditia and then underline and then one bullet point and all it says is, I do ropes.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_08]: Hi.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_10]: Do you want to describe a little bit of what your guy looks like?
- 36:58[SPEAKER_06]: I think my person is trying real hard to look the part of a sailor and like of a, I think they keep thinking they're a pirate or they're like, well, this is just like what people in the sea wear.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, no, I'm mismatched and weird because I keep taking things from other people.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_06]: So it's like, a body like she's up.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_06]: I go, that's a nice boots and so I take the boots.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, that's like a pretty fun vest.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_06]: Wait, what's up with that?
- 37:23[SPEAKER_06]: This is like a leather jacket.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_06]: What's going on here?
- 37:26[SPEAKER_06]: You know, I mean, so it's like the outfit is kind of constantly changing because I can never choose which is where you're going.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_06]: Like, like, or it's like, what's better to keep?
- 37:37[SPEAKER_06]: So I think it's like, oh, yeah.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_06]: No, there's like an indiscision to like, I like to hoard things, but maybe I'm also like constantly trading everything, thinking maybe this is the better thing.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_08]: Right.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_08]: I'm really seeing you like, you know all the pawn shop owners and you're always like trading in this jacket for that jacket at a You're slowly just losing money on the deal every time
- 38:00[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's the thing is like, I think, oh, but like on the guy who's like, yeah, I could take a paper clip and get a house.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_06]: It's like, no, you take a house and get a paper.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_05]: I got a paper clip.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_05]: Like that is actually who I am.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_10]: Yes.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_10]: You, that's funny.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_10]: I'm picturing like the way it could like get the Barbie doll and then like, over time, just keeps putting the different accessories on it.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_10]: So it just looks like a hodgepodge of plastic clothes.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_03]: All different eras.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, different, different Barbies.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_10]: What are your little guys pronouns, persons pronouns?
- 38:31[SPEAKER_06]: Um, let's go.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_06]: She, her.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_10]: Whoa, heck yeah.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_10]: She, her.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_10]: And what is the name of your wailer?
- 38:41[SPEAKER_06]: I'm thinking, look, shmeen.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_10]: Look, shmeen.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_10]: Hell yeah.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_10]: Brown people can't go to hell.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_10]: Take the brown people to hell.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_10]: We belong to...
- 38:51[SPEAKER_03]: You can do anything you set your mind to, including go to hell.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_08]: We have surprisingly inclusive, including go to hell.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, here's the secret thing.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_06]: I do, I believe in him, I were like, I was raised in there, right?
- 39:03[SPEAKER_06]: But I do believe the Christian hell exists.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's the can and hell.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_03]: Mmm, there you go.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they did do a really great job describing it.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_03]: It was just a vivid picture.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_08]: The thing that the Catholics got right was the bad place.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, it was the bad God.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, nothing else.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_06]: Hell exists.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_06]: That's about 300 feet below us.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_03]: It's really not that far.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_06]: It's not that far.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_03]: We could get there.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_03]: We just haven't played it.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_03]: That are deeper than that.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_10]: There are places that are deeper than that.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_10]: Cool.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_10]: And last but not least, Abigail Hepworth.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_10]: How did your sailor die?
- 39:40[SPEAKER_03]: My sailor was alive in the 70s in New York City.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_03]: And he's a pervert.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_07]: This is an off-mic man.
- 39:59[SPEAKER_11]: Oh my god.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_11]: Oh my god.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_10]: Can't believe it.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_10]: For context, we got onto the call.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_10]: Abby was like, what if I'm a perverse?
- 40:08[SPEAKER_10]: What if I'm a perverse?
- 40:09[SPEAKER_11]: I'm a perverse.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_08]: Abby Little said that since Shenuk has to be the voice of reason, we need a new chaos from one.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_08]: What do you want to do?
- 40:18[SPEAKER_10]: Look, I've got Shenuk out of control ward, everything is happening right now.
- 40:22[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, perfect, you're a pervert.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_03]: I'm a pervert, and so I flashed a woman on the subway platform, and she pushed me onto the trap bar.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_05]: Ow!
- 40:35[SPEAKER_05]: Ow!
- 40:35[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god!
- 40:36[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god!
- 40:37[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god!
- 40:38[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god!
- 40:39[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god!
- 40:39[SPEAKER_03]: She freaked out and she needed to do to protect herself, okay?
- 40:43[SPEAKER_03]: Wow.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you're in the hell.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_05]: I actually like, I'm fully on board with you.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, you say.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, you were really standing in the mess here, so all the purveyers out there.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, nobody was upset about that.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_10]: I shot it.
- 40:57[SPEAKER_08]: She got to take her tape parade in the 70s.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, she's in heaven right now, dude.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_10]: She's doing great.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_10]: She's thriving.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_10]: What's your little pervert, she simply do these, Abby?
- 41:10[SPEAKER_03]: Because I feel guilt, I insist on taking all of the worst jobs on the ship.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm like down on the whole chipping off barnacles.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_03]: What do they call the bathroom?
- 41:26[SPEAKER_08]: The book?
- 41:29[SPEAKER_08]: I hope that's a different thing.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_08]: The head.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_08]: The head, yeah.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_03]: I'm cleaning the head.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_03]: I'm chipping the bar to close off.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_03]: I'm taking whatever I think is someone's like, oh, we gotta do this again.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_03]: I jump up and do it.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_03]: Even though I'm not good at any of them.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_03]: You're bad at it.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_10]: This is an incredible character, ready?
- 41:50[SPEAKER_10]: Thank you.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_10]: Wow.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_10]: You're doing all the shit jobs on the boat.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_10]: You're cleaning the toilets, the latrines.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_10]: What does your little pervert look like?
- 42:00[SPEAKER_03]: He's like a little bit, he's thin and kind of lanky, not crazy tall, maybe like five, nine, and he's wearing like men's dress shoes and like trouser socks and a trench coat.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_03]: And no one knows what's under it.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_08]: If anything, where is this coming from?
- 42:33[SPEAKER_10]: And he's like, I got to put a lot of energy into this.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_10]: Happy we've been hanging out too much.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_10]: Happy?
- 42:40[SPEAKER_04]: Happy?
- 42:41[SPEAKER_10]: And he's exercising some true demons here.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, demons are.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_10]: She's at the chaos engine today, folks.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_10]: There we go.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_10]: And what is, what is he, him?
- 42:51[SPEAKER_10]: I'm assuming are your pronouns.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_02]: He, him.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, when can we be perverts, too?
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, no, but it doesn't matter.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we can't be perverts, too.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_03]: We can be perverts, too.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_10]: We can be perverts, too.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_03]: In this case.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not a label.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_03]: A cis white man.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_10]: Classic.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_03]: Perfect.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_03]: Perfect.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_03]: Perfect.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_10]: The flavors classic.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_10]: We're going classic style.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_10]: And what's the name of your wailer?
- 43:13[SPEAKER_03]: um... p.t.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_03]: Herman nice and it's called the perfect though p.t.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_08]: and it wasn't for pervert but it could be what what would should we call you is it p.t.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_08]: or p.t.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_08]: or
- 43:29[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, PD's kind of cute.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I like PD.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_08]: PD?
- 43:33[SPEAKER_03]: Where it's PD, but it's been sort of bastardized, so it's PD.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_10]: PD, PD.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_10]: I'm gonna ask you to be one question, and I'll start with Viditya.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_10]: Your playbook is the greedy correct.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 43:51[SPEAKER_10]: What have you stolen from someone on the ship?
- 43:57[SPEAKER_06]: I have stolen.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_06]: I want to say I have stolen like earrings that I wear and I just keep being I don't have the same pair.
- 44:07[SPEAKER_06]: I don't know what you're talking about.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_06]: No, I you saw we wore them at the same time.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_06]: You lost your So you know who's earrings it was?
- 44:14[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, I think it's
- 44:16[SPEAKER_10]: You could also be your captains.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_06]: I was gonna say either my captains, because I think that's really funny or it's like the chef.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_06]: And it's like really awkward every time I go down there.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_10]: Cool.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_10]: It's either the captains or the other crewmate.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_10]: So earrings.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_06]: Is are we the only crew or is there like other crewmates?
- 44:36[SPEAKER_10]: So it's gonna be you three and you're gonna decide in one more crew member at the end and then captains also there who are playing.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_06]: Cool.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_10]: I think let's let's make it steal from the captain then, then yeah, let's do I steal from the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain of the captain
- 45:06[SPEAKER_03]: because I'm trying very hard to be better.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_03]: I'm trying to be best.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_03]: And Lakshmi isn't.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_03]: It is squandering our chances with every turn.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_03]: I am.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: Well, damn.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_06]: I'm doing pretty good.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_06]: I'm up right now, you know?
- 45:26[SPEAKER_08]: And when I'm up the cruise up, so I can be in respect for the pervert is pretty tough.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_08]: That's a pretty good one.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_08]: From the 1970s New York pervert, you know that guy's got a thick muskash.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_03]: No, he can't grow blood, so it's just sort of patchy.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_10]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 46:06[SPEAKER_08]: Ooh, um, they don't deserve to go to heaven, like if we, if we get, if we catch the hell well and like save our souls, they don't deserve it.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_08]: I actually, I like this, I think it is closer to, I don't know if this is the guy that is like, it was some, I'm down, I want to see your manager this is a mistake, but it's close.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_08]: It's close.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_08]: I think, um, yeah.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_08]: Matthias, very much believes that he's like an inch away from getting to heaven like this is borderline clerical error should be in heaven and these two are nowhere close and there's Matthias like tell them that I think he is constantly trying to get them to like pray more and like do do the like day-to-day work of being
- 46:57[SPEAKER_10]: And I'll just ask you this all like this is a question for all of you.
- 47:00[SPEAKER_10]: You can decide together.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_10]: What's the rumor you've heard about the captain?
- 47:05[SPEAKER_08]: The captain has captured a hell well before.
- 47:09[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say that the captain just interacted with a hell well and chose to stay.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, and like that's really fun.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_06]: I think can I do like the captain has like lost a leg or an arm and the story is it was taken by a whole whale and they have chosen to stay to like get it back or something.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, wow.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I see.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_07]: So they were like on their way to heaven to like, no, no, no, I got to go back.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_03]: Can we make it instead of an armor leg, like a pinky toe, like something that was dangerous?
- 47:47[SPEAKER_03]: Where it's like, I think you'd probably be cool, man.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_03]: It's not that bad, it's not that bad.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_03]: It's not that bad.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_10]: I could have left.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_08]: Why you don't have to stay here.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_03]: It's like, it's not even the full toe.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_03]: It's just the top half.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_08]: But does that mean that the captain capture a hell whale and then it escaped where there are two hell whales and he captured I kind of like that there was like a bonded pair of hell whales and he he captured one and the other one took a piece of him and now he like has to stay and try to capture the other one.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, very fair because I love the like could have gone chose to stay right I like could have gone chose to stay I also like is missing a piece of himself, but then there has to be a thing to took it.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, so second whale I see so it's like you need to have your full self to to go is what you're just kind of saying
- 48:41[SPEAKER_06]: Not as like a not as a cosmic rule, but like as a personal choice is like as chose revenge instead of going back I see I see I see yeah, okay cool.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, because also in my head.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_08]: I'm imagining like He felt like one the fight captured the hell whale was like I almost imagining like ascending to heaven or whatever And then other whale just like breaches out of the water and Snipes off a foot or something and then now he gets literally pulled back down into hell
- 49:11[SPEAKER_08]: Or at least that's just telling of it.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_08]: Who knows what kind of thing it is.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_03]: The like ethereal tether, and it's like fuck no.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_06]: Fuck no.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_10]: You don't only hear this in passing at the pubs or bars about your life.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I would imagine as a rumors are kept in like, won't tell us like why they lost this.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_03]: That's just they maybe we never see them without a shoe.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_03]: So we don't know.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_08]: I especially like the idea of like the hell whale also wants revenge.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_03]: Well, cause all whales do.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's why they're attacking the yachts.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_10]: Ah, that's great.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_03]: They're intelligent beings and we should not be fucking with their space.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_08]: That's true.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_08]: They're too big.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_08]: This is phenomenal.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_08]: Just on size alone, we shouldn't be doing it.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, we should not be fucking with whales at all.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_10]: This is great.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_10]: This is a really good rumor.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_10]: This is really chunky.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_10]: And I think really fits into the idea of the captain that I had.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_10]: So this is perfect.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_10]: So why don't we start building your ship?
- 50:09[SPEAKER_10]: So ship building is a together thing.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_10]: You'll all be doing this as a little team.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_10]: So basically there are a few categories that you can choose from.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_10]: And then you'll use his categories to name your ship.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_10]: You can choose one or more for your name.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_10]: It could be a feminine name.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_10]: a mask of the name, a fierce name, a name of him for me, a curse name, or another kind of name.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_08]: I'm just thinking of biblical things, the pillar of salt.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, yeah.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_06]: I like pillar of salt.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_06]: I like pillar of salt.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I think salt to cool.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_06]: I was like maybe we changed the element, but salt is just such a good element good old NACL Oh, the chemistry boys back Yeah, that's the most much of us to get us to come up on this podcast.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_10]: But it looks like it's really good.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_10]: You guys cool with that.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_04]: I do.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_10]: Let's lock in pillar of salt.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_03]: Lock it in!
- 51:12[SPEAKER_03]: Can you insert the jeopardy noise here?
- 51:15[SPEAKER_03]: Or the... No, just do or no, do you?
- 51:19[SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 51:38[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, he wants to be in a way less than just Okay, good, good, good, so each player gets to choose one thing that is true about the ship is on page 21 You can choose one of the bullet points that they've given you some of them include There's a break where there are where the unruly are sent from punishment the galley is talked with with a small amount of expensive spices You can pick your own thing, so every each one of you gets to pick one
- 52:03[SPEAKER_03]: I really like the sales are dyed black as the encroaching darkness.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_03]: That's pretty good.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_03]: I pick black sales.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_03]: Millions are black and white.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_03]: Millions are noise.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_10]: That's really creepy because in this world there's no daylight at all.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_10]: So you cannot see these sales very creepy.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that's very good.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_03]: We keep on hitting shit.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_08]: I really like making the captain, giving the captain more room to be mysterious.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_08]: And so I really like the captain's quarters have thick glass doors.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_03]: Do you think though by thick glass doors are you envisioning like you can see through them, but it's quite warped so you can't clearly see what's going on or do you think like I'm like dark glass.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_08]: I'm imagining those like crystal glass blocks that you see it like doctor's office and dentist's office that like are worked and so it's like it's like thick glass it's see through but it's like old glass in a way it's really imperfect so you see you can see motion figure you can see figures you can see motion you can see like
- 53:10[SPEAKER_08]: They, like, outlines and, like, broad strokes, but you can't see details.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_06]: Mm-hmm.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_06]: I really like that.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_06]: Um, then I think we have one weird thing.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_06]: I think we have a slightly more mundane thing.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_06]: I like that I'm going to go with the galley as doctor with a small amount of expensive spaces.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_06]: I do love how strange that is as an inclusion.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_08]: No, but if it's a, you just want that so you can steal them.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_06]: either I want them so badly or I brought them on and then mm-hmm and it could be, yeah, there could be something fun about me and my character about that.
- 53:48[SPEAKER_06]: I also like that maybe we have like a small luxury with us in hell even, but perhaps it's a small amount so it's like do we let do we allow ourselves to indulge in it, right?
- 53:59[SPEAKER_06]: No, not like that.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like that's also really good for Matthias of like self denial of something that is luxurious and good and savory or whatever, and also this element of, he can be a little bit taller than that of like,
- 54:15[SPEAKER_08]: indulging in something like this is actually like a sinful experience and you should be it's like the who was the like Christian person who made like wheat fins so they're they made like dry cereals so people would start masturbating oh come on yeah Kellogg's yeah
- 54:31[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah Actually now that nothing you mention I feel like it maybe works for all of us because it's like like I described It's like it's something that almost tests my Want to take like I could take this and then anyway, would you feel like PD is like I could never have this because if I have a look at it.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_03]: I don't observe it Yeah, it's not good never have something like that because I'm I'm undeserving.
- 54:56[SPEAKER_03]: I would feel too guilty for
- 55:01[SPEAKER_03]: We're not going to dive too deep into the guilt right now.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_03]: We're going to figure it out.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_10]: We're going to use a white guy like Spices.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_10]: He lived in New York in like Spanish Harlem.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, okay.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_08]: I understand.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 55:16[SPEAKER_03]: No, PD has Spice Tolerance.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_03]: PD is just a system to handle it.
- 55:21[SPEAKER_03]: His conscience cannot.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_08]: I also really like the idea of, especially because we're all like seeing something that we want and we kind of keep saying no, like it is the thing that we are, we are being penitent and denying like this is the one place for being penitent, I love the idea that we have like a bonus crew member who's like the chef, who just every day is like, so do you want that saffron right?
- 55:45[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, and like every day we have to be like, ah, not today, not today.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe tomorrow.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_08]: Or it's like, we'll only eat that when we capture the hell whale.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_08]: Like, that's when it's always going to go on the hell whale flesh.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_03]: Because it goes on the hell whale flesh.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_03]: Should a hell whale flesh?
- 56:03[SPEAKER_08]: That's very good.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_08]: Is it from, is it the captains?
- 56:06[SPEAKER_08]: Like, maybe that's a thing.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_08]: Could be.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna find it.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_08]: Could be.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, I love it.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_08]: Okay, cool.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_08]: That's fun.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_08]: I'm liking the spices.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, spice is much, much deeper a choice than I thought it would be actually.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's good.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_10]: And so now, together, you'll choose your figure head.
- 56:24[SPEAKER_10]: It can be one of the things that book is listed or you can make one of your own.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_03]: thinking again of New Girl when Jess describes Meghan Fox as looking like the front of a ship come alive.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_03]: As someone who doesn't know anything about the pillar of salt is there some kind of iconography we can.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_08]: The pillar of salt was God's punishment for a lot for him turning back
- 56:57[SPEAKER_03]: So should it just be Laugh's wife?
- 56:59[SPEAKER_03]: Is the front of our vote?
- 57:00[SPEAKER_10]: That's so funny.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_10]: You have lots of wife on them.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_10]: That's the real Laugh's wife.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_10]: Is the actual Laugh's wife?
- 57:09[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_10]: That's what I thought Abbey meant.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I love that.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_10]: That's really good.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_06]: I also love, Lakshmi also is like, wow, fuck.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_06]: hell is real?
- 57:20[SPEAKER_06]: What's that?
- 57:21[SPEAKER_06]: Like, I don't understand.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_03]: This is the same thing.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_03]: There's a lot of questions where we're like, and remind me, who's locked?
- 57:29[SPEAKER_06]: And remind me, who's locked?
- 57:30[SPEAKER_06]: There's a lot of it?
- 57:32[SPEAKER_06]: No?
- 57:32[SPEAKER_06]: A lot of life?
- 57:33[SPEAKER_08]: So that's a lot of salt.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_08]: His name wasn't job.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_08]: It was Joe.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_08]: Joe teaching looks me Christian.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_08]: I think, I think I'm mansplaining Christianity.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I think it's like a 2PM religion class on the boat every day.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm like, I think there's something funny, I'm doing my job, but you are just taking that time to mansplain it.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_08]: So this is really good.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_08]: And let me teach you the core tenants of this.
- 58:04[SPEAKER_06]: We have those.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_06]: You know we do that, right?
- 58:06[SPEAKER_06]: Like we also, it's like beetle nut.
- 58:08[SPEAKER_08]: No, no, but this is the real one.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I love that, that's fun.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_10]: And finally, you're going to pick one crewmate to have on the ship.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_10]: And I feel like you guys have already picked the cook, but on page 29 and 30, you'll see different types.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_10]: There are others if you want, but I feel like you are really creative the world around the chef.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_08]: You're going to like the chef, but there is the other options are the crab catcher, the dredger, the cook, the rope rigger, the channel of being, uh, it's not, it's just the channel.
- 58:46[SPEAKER_08]: This is channel of long, uh, the entertainer and the barber.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_03]: The two late to go back and make my character miss Janan Lebron.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, that's for us.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_10]: That's the next card.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_05]: That's the next card.
- 59:00[SPEAKER_05]: Back to love you.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_05]: Good.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, absolutely.
- 59:02[SPEAKER_05]: No.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_05]: You're not doing anything like this, so much.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_03]: I kind of like either the cook or the crab catcher.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_03]: I feel like both work for what we were kind of already envisioning.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_10]: And they each also have like a they like they all give you a extra thing the cook can feed the crew but requires to so it requires to fewer food supply every day.
- 59:24[SPEAKER_10]: The dredger you get plus three souls for odd diced total payouts.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_10]: That's for when we go gambling.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_10]: The Chandler is you gain one soul a day.
- 59:35[SPEAKER_06]: That's just a free soul could there be any more souls I mean let's let's go with the channel.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_03]: Just so that we can keep this ball rolling Yeah, so that we can force shut it to play channel No, I would make you play Janice
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, God, damn it.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_10]: This is the socks being in the socks.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_10]: This socks socks.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_08]: Hey, I have to be responsible.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_08]: Everyone else gets to have fun.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_10]: This is ridiculous.
- 1:00:12[SPEAKER_10]: This is absolutely ridiculous.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_10]: You broke me within an hour.
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_05]: We did it, gang.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_05]: Season over.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_08]: I did think we should do the cook.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_08]: So I feel like we were already circling.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_03]: I was going to say we kind of built out the cook.
- 1:00:25[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I think the cook's a cool little thing.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_10]: And what's the cook's name?
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_05]: I'm actually okay with Bjorn.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_10]: I'm fine with Bjorn.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_10]: Bjorn.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_10]: So that's our cook Bjorn, the foreign guy on your ship.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_06]: I'm picturing, can we make like, like, Korean?
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_03]: Bjorn.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_06]: Bjorn.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_03]: Bjorn.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_03]: Bjorn.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_03]: You know what?
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_03]: There are some Korean Swedes out there.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_03]: And thanks very much.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_10]: I'm not playing a Korean Bjorn.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_10]: I'm just...
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_10]: I'm just, I'll come on, I'm trying to fill this chip with color, Shane, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at that, you're good at
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_08]: Shannon, can you just tell me about the classic Swedish Korean fusion recipes that he's making?
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_03]: I can tell you, it's pickled, herring, kimchi.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, wow.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_07]: Actually, okay, yeah, never mind.
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_07]: Fuck me.
- 1:01:40[SPEAKER_07]: He had to ride.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_07]: He shit.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_07]: I fully recounted.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_07]: Joke with drawn.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_11]: Joke with drawn.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_10]: Let's roll one of Bjorn's trades.
- 1:01:54[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, let's go five.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_08]: Nervous.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_08]: Every Omen remove one food supply.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_06]: God, no.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_10]: Great.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, my God, so mad.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, good.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_10]: We've made Bjorn.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_10]: And that is our little cook.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_10]: Why don't we jump back just to do your inventory really quick?
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_10]: So each of you has one thing in your inventory.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_10]: It should be on your playbook.
- 1:02:41[SPEAKER_10]: Do you want to just go around the horn and tell me which item you've picked for your inventory?
- 1:02:48[SPEAKER_08]: From my inventory, I'm definitely going to pick the rosary made of hell pearl.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, there are a lot more useful things, but I feel like I Brian have always been very, I don't know, fixated on the idea of a rosary as like a physical object.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_08]: Especially for religious horror, like it's such a great object.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, I've just kind of always been in frame and, like, thank you.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_06]: I don't remember what our budget, what your budget is, but that's also just a really good sound, right?
- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_06]: Like, kind of, of like the short.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_06]: I think you can follow.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_06]: I have a sack of gold feelings and a pair of, oh, okay.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_06]: I'm pulling gold feelings from people's teeth.
- 1:03:33[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_06]: God, that's fucking visceral.
- 1:03:38[SPEAKER_10]: It's a bummer.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_06]: I gotta pick that.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_10]: I would also let you change if you wanted to be like a sack of toes.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_06]: I actually, I like the visceral out a little bit of that.
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_06]: I think maybe like there could be a few things that I'm trading but that is like that's what I love it.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_06]: I'm like I'm opening people's mouths.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_06]: I think that's like such a weird To do in hell because like this is yeah, yeah, what are you going to go use these at the stool and it's such a desperate yeah it's like such a desperate visceral thing where it's like what am I going to yeah what am I going to do with fucking gold fillings?
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_08]: It's also a weird thing of like imagining, like, you getting...
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_08]: I'm imagining like the con man version of this, we're like, you get someone really drunk until they pass out.
- 1:04:18[SPEAKER_08]: And then rather than romp them, you're like stealing their gold field.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_08]: Like, what a fucked-up thing to steal.
- 1:04:23[SPEAKER_02]: So nice.
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_06]: What a kind of fucked-up thing to see.
- 1:04:25[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_08]: Because I'm just imagining that person waking up in the morning with an aching tooth and being like, what the fuck happened last night?
- 1:04:31[SPEAKER_08]: So fucking human.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_05]: Man, I go, oh, and then I have an aching tooth, and I go, oh my god.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, show me the stole, I feel like...
- 1:04:37[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, that's my game, but I also printed and I got robbed.
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_10]: You're a victim.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_03]: They also stole your earrings.
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that's how you get past it.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_08]: You're just always accusing the captain of stealing your earrings.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_06]: Hey, I found these.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_06]: You know what I mean?
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_06]: I finally, they were in my drawer.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_06]: I thought they were gone.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_10]: That was very good.
- 1:05:03[SPEAKER_10]: And then Abigail.
- 1:05:07[SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to go with a journal filled with confessions.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_10]: Are there any other confessions?
- 1:05:15[SPEAKER_03]: Also pornographic drawings.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_10]: Did you draw them?
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not a talented artist.
- 1:05:24[SPEAKER_03]: There are any types of what happens to catch a glimpse of one over my shoulder.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_03]: I have to explain to them what it looks like.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_10]: This is, this is porn.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_10]: No, it's not.
- 1:05:37[SPEAKER_10]: That doesn't look like porn.
- 1:05:38[SPEAKER_10]: I have to get better before it's porn.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_08]: That was just circles.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_03]: There are boobs.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_03]: What are you talking about?
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_08]: It feels like a great defense for like a hand drawn porn on your face.
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_08]: Like, no, no.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_08]: Officer, I'm just practicing.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_08]: It's like good enough to be porn.
- 1:05:55[SPEAKER_03]: Good enough to be porn, that's it.
- 1:05:57[SPEAKER_03]: Are you turned on sir?
- 1:05:59[SPEAKER_10]: It's so funny.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_10]: Like people see your turn on there.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_10]: Like I don't know if you're guilty.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_10]: Have you seen?
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if people make it.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_08]: I also love what's the Supreme Court's definition of foreign.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_08]: Like you know it when you see it.
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_08]: It's like someone shows it to a line.
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, they're like, that's more abstract art, I think.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_06]: I think so.
- 1:06:20[SPEAKER_03]: I think it's a bit weird.
- 1:06:21[SPEAKER_03]: We really are.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_03]: My sketch is really split the jury 50 bit.
- 1:06:24[SPEAKER_08]: We really want to convict this guy, but just can't.
- 1:06:27[SPEAKER_08]: Just can't.
- 1:06:28[SPEAKER_08]: I'm sure artistic merit alone.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_06]: They're like bringing in like art critics.
- 1:06:33[SPEAKER_06]: They're like, I mean, like the form is just not rendered.
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_08]: You would know shading.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_06]: No shading.
- 1:06:40[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, like, like, have you heard of like blocking out your shadows?
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_06]: Like, that would help.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_06]: Like, you're trying to get you to draw better form of this form.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_10]: Great.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_10]: A little confession and porn journal.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm.
- 1:06:55[SPEAKER_03]: They go into dance.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_10]: That's a combo.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes I try to read it aloud to Matthias and then I remember you're not a real priest.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_06]: You subject yourself to confession.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_03]: Yes.
- 1:07:07[SPEAKER_03]: I make you have confessional for me pretty regularly.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_08]: You know, what is a priest other than someone who just says they're a priest?
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_06]: Wow.
- 1:07:15[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 1:07:16[SPEAKER_03]: No education needed.
- 1:07:18[SPEAKER_03]: You just declare it.
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_03]: Does lots of wife have a name?
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, was an unnamed biblical figure.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, we're a woman.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_08]: Just a lot of my bummer.
- 1:07:27[SPEAKER_08]: That sucks.
- 1:07:29[SPEAKER_08]: That's really absurd.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_03]: Honestly, that checks.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_06]: And do we do we like her for reference?
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_08]: She's an unnamed biblical figure in the book of Genesis.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_08]: That book is just about name.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_08]: It's like this person, but got this person.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_08]: We got this.
- 1:07:41[SPEAKER_08]: That's the worst movie a name did.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's a real insult.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_10]: And that is the crew of the pillar of salt.
- 1:07:49[SPEAKER_10]: Those are our sailors.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_10]: That is the ship.
- 1:07:52[SPEAKER_10]: This is, this is our, these are our characters.
- 1:07:55[SPEAKER_10]: This is what we're playing.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_03]: Our fucked up little guys.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_10]: Fucked up little guys.
- 1:07:59[SPEAKER_10]: Little a bunch of little guys.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm gonna steal your beef.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_10]: You and your sailors, you all stand aboard your ship.
- 1:08:10[SPEAKER_10]: Your captain wears their tattered apparel, their kind of ripped-shredded bishop clothing, with that maroonish pink gilded scroaps, she walks the deck, looks to all of you and says,
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_10]: Here upon the seas of hell, a hell whale is said to be so unholy that slaying such a beast can earn you a place back in God's grace, and I know something that'll help find us that way
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_10]: But I need my crew to believe in me.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_10]: My cursed wailers, we've been together for countless years now.
- 1:08:52[SPEAKER_10]: Sent to hell for our misdeeds.
- 1:08:54[SPEAKER_10]: We now troll the Stygian Sea, hunting our quarry, the dreaded hell whale.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_10]: If we can feast upon the whale's future flesh, we might break the curse and find a more peaceful afterlife.
- 1:09:10[SPEAKER_10]: and that terrible aviathan warms through the lightless depths of the vast and frightful ocean.
- 1:09:18[SPEAKER_00]: Forever drawn to the echoes of its own beating heart.
- 1:09:24[SPEAKER_00]: It may be the only way to find the infernal beast, break the curse, and end our immortal suffering.
- 1:09:37[SPEAKER_00]: But right now, we're late.
- 1:09:43[SPEAKER_10]: And that's it for this episode of my first dungeon.
- 1:09:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 1:09:51[SPEAKER_10]: He's there in episode zero.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_03]: Oh.
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_03]: She's a badass.
- 1:09:55[SPEAKER_10]: She rocks.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_03]: She's also a bad person.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_10]: She's also a bad person.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_10]: Don't forget that.
- 1:10:02[SPEAKER_10]: Why not me?
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_10]: Why not?
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_08]: Never know.
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_08]: It was a mistake.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_08]: It was a mistake.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_08]: This one helps take all kinds.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_08]: It was around the year.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_08]: It was a mistake.
- 1:10:10[SPEAKER_06]: It was a mistake.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_08]: It was a mistake.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_06]: No, that's why I'm here.
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_10]: Well folks, remember, if you're having fun, you're already doing it right, even in hell.
