  Stay on the path. Have you ever tried walking
• 0:13
  through your house in total darkness?
• 0:15
  You move slower, your hands reach out just in case, and
• 0:18
  every step feels uncertain. You're tense because you don't
• 0:22
  know what's in front of you. Life feels the same way.
• 0:24
  When you drift from God's wisdom, things that once felt
• 0:28
  clear become confusing. Choices that seemed small start
• 0:31
  to trip you up, and before you realize it, you're wondering how
• 0:34
  you got so off balance. In Proverbs chapter 4, verses 11
• 0:38
  to 12, God speaks like a loving guide who knows the terrain
• 0:42
  ahead. He says, I have taught you the
• 0:44
  way of wisdom. I have led you in the paths of
• 0:47
  uprightness. When you walk, your step will
• 0:49
  not be Hanford, and if you run, you will not stumble.
• 0:52
  Notice what God promises. Not a life without movement,
• 0:56
  pressure, or effort, but a path where you can walk and even run
• 0:59
  without constantly falling. Wisdom doesn't remove the
• 1:02
  journey, it makes the journey steadier.

  Then Jesus adds A sobering picture.
• 1:07
  In Matthew chapter 13, he tells a story about a farmer who
• 1:11
  plants good seed. But while everyone is sleeping,
• 1:14
  an enemy sneaks in and plants weeds among the wheat.
• 1:17
  The danger wasn't obvious at first.
• 1:19
  The field looked fine. Growth was happening, but over
• 1:22
  time, the weeds revealed themselves.
• 1:25
  That's how distraction and compromise often work.
• 1:28
  They don't always show up loud or alarming.
• 1:30
  They creep in quietly when we stop paying attention, when we
• 1:33
  get spiritually comfortable, or when we assume we'll notice
• 1:36
  problems before they matter. Staying on God's path isn't
• 1:40
  about fear. It's about focus.
• 1:43
  It's choosing to stay awake spiritually.
• 1:45
  It's guarding what influences your thoughts, your values, and
• 1:48
  your habits. The enemy loves subtlety, but
• 1:51
  wisdom keeps you alert. God's Word acts like a light
• 1:54
  that exposes what doesn't belong before it takes root.
• 1:57
  The truth is, everyone is on a path.

  The question is, who's guiding your steps?
• 2:02
  God's path may not always be the easiest or the most popular, but
• 2:06
  it is the safest. It protects you from regret you
• 2:09
  don't see coming and from detours that cost more than you
• 2:12
  expect. When you stay close to God's
• 2:14
  wisdom, your life may still face challenges, but you won't walk
• 2:18
  blindly through them. You don't stay on the path by
• 2:21
  accident. You stay on it by choosing God
• 2:23
  daily, listening carefully, and refusing to drift just because
• 2:27
  it's easier. Wisdom keeps you steady.
• 2:30
  God keeps you guarded. And when you stay on His path,
• 2:33
  you discover that even in a Dark World, your steps can be sure.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 2:39
  teaching me the way of wisdom and leading me on the right
• 2:41
  path. Help me stay spiritually awake
• 2:44
  and alert, not distracted or careless with my heart.
• 2:48
  Show me anything that doesn't belong in my life and give me
• 2:51
  the courage to remove it. I choose your way over every
• 2:54
  shortcut and I trust you to guide my steps every day.

  As he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came

  and devoured them. Others fell on rocky ground

  where they didn't have much soil, and immediately they

  sprang up because they had no depth of earth.

  When the sun had risen, they were scorched.

  Because they had no root, they withered away.

  Others fell among thorns. The thorns grew up and choked

  them. Others fell on good soil and

  For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous

  When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom and doesn't

  understand it, the evil 1 comes and snatches away that which has

  This is he who hears the word and immediately with joy

  receives it. Yet he has no root in himself,

  but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution

  arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

  but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches

  choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

  came and sowed darnall weeds also among the wheat and went

  away. But when the blade sprang up and

  produced grain, then the Darnell weeds appeared also.

  The servants of the householder came and said to him, Sir,

  didn't you sow good seed in your field?

  Where did these Darnell weeds come from?

  He said to them, An enemy has done this.

  The servants asked him, Do you want us to go and gather them

  up? But he said no, lest perhaps

  while you gather up the Darnell weeds you root up the wheat with
• 8:18
  them. Let both grow together until the
• 8:21
  harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers first
• 8:25
  gather up the Darnell weeds and bind them in bundles to burn
• 8:28
  them, but gather the wheat into my barn.

  He said another parable before them, saying the Kingdom of
• 8:34
  heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took
• 8:37
  and sowed in his field, which indeed is smaller than all
• 8:40
  seeds, but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and
• 8:44
  becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge
• 8:47
  in its branches. He spoke another parable to
• 8:50
  them. The Kingdom of heaven is like
• 8:52
  yeast which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal until
• 8:56
  it was all leavened. Jesus spoke all these things in
• 8:59
  parables to the multitudes, and without a parable.

  He didn't speak to them that it might be fulfilled, which was
• 9:05
  spoken through the prophet saying, I will open my mouth in
• 9:08
  parables. I will utter things hidden from
• 9:11
  the foundation of the world. Then Jesus sent the multitudes
• 9:14
  away and went into the house. His disciples came to him
• 9:18
  saying, Explain to us the parable of the darnall weeds of
• 9:21
  the field. He answered them, He who sows
• 9:24
  the good seed is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the good
• 9:28
  seeds are the children of the Kingdom, and the darnall weeds
• 9:30
  are the children of the evil. 1 The enemy who sowed them is the
• 9:34
  devil, The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are
• 9:37
  angels. As therefore the Darnall weeds
• 9:40
  are gathered up and burned with fire, so will it be at the end
• 9:43
  of this age. The Son of Man will send out his
• 9:46
  angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that
• 9:49
  cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity and will cast them
• 9:53
  into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and
• 9:56
  gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine
• 9:58
  like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father.

  He who has ears to hear, let him hear again.

  The Kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in the field
• 10:06
  which a man found and hid in his joy.

  He goes and sells all that he has and buys that field again.

  The Kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a merchant seeking

  fine pearls, who having found one Pearl of great price, he

  went and sold all that he had and bought it again.

  The Kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the

  sea and gathered some fish of every kind, which when it was

  filled, fishermen drew up on the beach.

  They sat down and gathered the good into containers, but the

  bad they threw away. So it will be in the end of the
• 10:38
  world. The angels will come and

  separate the wicked from among the righteous, and will cast

  them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and

  gnashing of teeth. Jesus said to them, Have you
• 10:49
  understood all these things? They answered him, Yes, Lord, He
• 10:53
  said to them, Therefore every scribe who has been made a
• 10:55
  disciple in the Kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a
• 10:58
  householder who brings out of his treasure new and old things.

  When Jesus had finished these parables, he departed from
• 11:05
  there, coming into his own country.

  He taught them in their synagogue so that they were
• 11:09
  astonished and said, Where did this man get this wisdom and
• 11:13
  these mighty works? Isn't this the carpenter's son?
• 11:16
  Isn't his mother called Mary and his brothers James, Jose is
• 11:20
  Simon, and Judas? Aren't all of his sisters with
• 11:22
  us? Where then did this man get all
• 11:24
  of these things? They were offended by him, but
• 11:27
  Jesus said to them, a prophet is not without honor except in his
• 11:31
  own country and in his own house.
• 11:33
  He didn't do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
• 11:38
