- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a Pod with Teddy Mellencamp and Tamra Judge.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome back to another episode of The Twat
- 0:18Speaker 2: Seat with.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Myself, Tamra Judge and Teddy Mellencamp.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Teddy, Today we have an epic guest.
- 0:26Speaker 4: I'm so excited.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Do you know that she has not done one interview
- 0:29Speaker 2: or podcast that I know of since she's left Rhode Island.
- 0:34Speaker 3: This is huge and like, of course, our girl Dolores
- 0:37Speaker 3: got it done for us.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Yes, So today we have Liz McGrath from the Real
- 0:41Speaker 2: House Rice of Rhode Island. As you guys know, she
- 0:44Speaker 2: decided on her own not to come back, and we're
- 0:47Speaker 2: going to get all the dirt. Oh there she is.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I lost me once again.
- 0:54Speaker 2: I lost my last night.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you're so pretty, so pretty.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Oh no, you're so pretty. Oh no, we're also were stopping.
- 1:05Speaker 4: We're all so pretty for us.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Okay, there's something I want to get off my chest. Okay, no,
- 1:15Speaker 2: my fake tits are still in my chest. They're doing great.
- 1:18Speaker 2: And so I did press a couple of weeks ago,
- 1:23Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, all these stories came out
- 1:25Speaker 2: that I said that you quit the show because of
- 1:27Speaker 2: social media. And I'm like, I didn't fucking say that.
- 1:30Speaker 2: That's not what I said. That is not what I said.
- 1:33Speaker 2: I go, I don't have any I don't know why
- 1:35Speaker 2: she quit the show. All I said was, yeah, I
- 1:37Speaker 2: talked to her. I know that social media was top
- 1:39Speaker 2: on her.
- 1:40Speaker 3: That was it.
- 1:42Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:43Speaker 5: I think that the flurry of social media hate was more.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Of a by product.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Well it's not easy, you know, it's not easy for me.
- 1:56Speaker 5: The main thing I think was anything that can have
- 2:02Speaker 5: an entire community believe things that are about you that
- 2:09Speaker 5: are so wholly untrue.
- 2:13Speaker 4: That scared the fucking shit out of me.
- 2:15Speaker 3: You know.
- 2:15Speaker 4: The heat, the shrapnel of heat, Yeah, was only.
- 2:19Speaker 5: A byproduct of it, you know, the the notion that, like,
- 2:23Speaker 5: I'm on drugs and believe me, I've seen everyone completely
- 2:29Speaker 5: convinced of it.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Anyone who knows me knows I love.
- 2:34Speaker 5: Anything to do with drugs. So if it could be
- 2:38Speaker 5: that skewed, it just freaked me out.
- 2:41Speaker 6: You know, the heat, and normally they at least wait
- 2:44Speaker 6: to do that to you until the second season.
- 2:50Speaker 4: How could that even how could this even be? How
- 2:53Speaker 4: could this be me?
- 2:55Speaker 3: So?
- 2:55Speaker 5: You know, uh, some people say she didn't like the
- 3:00Speaker 5: era that was shown self awareness. No, I'm very very
- 3:05Speaker 5: self aware that my reactions at times were hot headed
- 3:10Speaker 5: and unhinged.
- 3:13Speaker 4: But how it could go so far into things that were.
- 3:18Speaker 5: So ridiculously false that freaked me out.
- 3:23Speaker 4: That freaked me out.
- 3:24Speaker 2: So was the reason that you didn't come back because
- 3:27Speaker 2: of social media?
- 3:30Speaker 6: No?
- 3:30Speaker 5: I mean I think that that was, you know, when
- 3:35Speaker 5: I saw the way it was portrayed, partly, you know,
- 3:40Speaker 5: because there were so many so convinced of who I am.
- 3:48Speaker 4: I think that it was a bunch of things. It
- 3:51Speaker 4: was a bunch of things. I'm old, I'm older.
- 3:55Speaker 7: I I don't need to do it conversations anymore in
- 3:58Speaker 7: my life.
- 4:00Speaker 5: It didn't really makes sense. I didn't really really what
- 4:04Speaker 5: do you mean you're older? How old do you think
- 4:05Speaker 5: I am?
- 4:07Speaker 4: Well, I think we're a year apart.
- 4:09Speaker 2: All right, I'm probably older than you.
- 4:11Speaker 4: You are, you're a year older than me. You're a
- 4:14Speaker 4: little bit older.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And you know what's so funny is you know, I'll
- 4:18Speaker 2: be fifty nine in September, and I keep telling myself,
- 4:22Speaker 2: am I going to be doing this in my sixties? Like,
- 4:25Speaker 2: isn't there a time where I'm like, let's leave this
- 4:28Speaker 2: behind and that I'm like, no, let's keep going.
- 4:31Speaker 5: Why I have to say something, You've never looked better. Oh,
- 4:35Speaker 5: thank you, And I am thoroughly enjoying you this season.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 4:40Speaker 5: I just it feels real, it feels light, it feels
- 4:47Speaker 5: I get what happened last season.
- 4:49Speaker 4: I do.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Oh, it's horrible, and I think that it really just
- 4:54Speaker 2: shook me to my core, even like thought like maybe
- 4:58Speaker 2: I should not go back.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I'm glad you did.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Yeah, And that's how I feel about you. I wanted
- 5:04Speaker 2: you to go back because I want the people to
- 5:06Speaker 2: see the other side. I didn't want you to.
- 5:09Speaker 5: End like that.
- 5:10Speaker 6: But in that moment, did you like when you were filming?
- 5:15Speaker 6: Were you hating it or did you like it?
- 5:17Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 5:17Speaker 4: No, I had a I had a feeling.
- 5:22Speaker 5: You know, some might say I'm paranoid, but I had
- 5:24Speaker 5: a feeling that this probably was not going to go
- 5:30Speaker 5: well for me. And you know, what you resist persists naturally.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm.
- 5:37Speaker 5: Sad that Dolores wasn't able to be there, you know,
- 5:41Speaker 5: I just there are a lot of components to it.
- 5:44Speaker 5: But I'm still so thoroughly grateful for the experience. You know,
- 5:49Speaker 5: I wouldn't treat it. And I know, as hard as
- 5:52Speaker 5: last year was for you, we learned through it, right,
- 5:58Speaker 5: We learned through it.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Yes, we do.
- 6:00Speaker 6: And I know that the hater seem louder than the
- 6:03Speaker 6: people that love you. But I just want you to
- 6:05Speaker 6: know through like to teas in a pod, everybody loves you.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Like they really do. And you've made it.
- 6:12Speaker 6: You made us like for a first season show to
- 6:15Speaker 6: be that good.
- 6:17Speaker 3: That's I mean that us good.
- 6:20Speaker 4: It's good. Right.
- 6:22Speaker 2: Yes, Our producers just text we love you gay icon.
- 6:32Speaker 6: Do you are you close with any of the girls still?
- 6:35Speaker 6: Are you still talking to any of them?
- 6:38Speaker 5: I mean yeah, here and there. But you know, when
- 6:41Speaker 5: you're you're in it, you're in it together. So there's
- 6:46Speaker 5: a bond there because of.
- 6:48Speaker 4: The show on. Not as close as I.
- 6:55Speaker 5: Was when I was going, you know, when we were
- 6:58Speaker 5: I was going to the throes of it.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, did your husband have Did he like the show?
- 7:06Speaker 2: Was he like, oh my god, you're off?
- 7:09Speaker 4: He thought the show was great.
- 7:11Speaker 3: Oh, he liked it.
- 7:13Speaker 4: He thought the show was great.
- 7:14Speaker 5: He was disappointed for me, obviously, and he's like, yeah, no,
- 7:21Speaker 5: I we spoke about it a lot, and he's like,
- 7:27Speaker 5: you're doing the right thing you're doing the right.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Do you think maybe because I see Rhode Island being
- 7:32Speaker 2: around for a very long time, because it's so boy,
- 7:35Speaker 2: I have no doubt.
- 7:36Speaker 5: I mean, ye're going to do They're going to kill it.
- 7:38Speaker 5: They're going to do just as well, if not better.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Do you think that you might come back in the future,
- 7:45Speaker 2: if the timing's right.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I'm never say never.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I did see you though.
- 7:54Speaker 6: You were spotted filming Real Housewives of New Jersey.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Yeah, they're a big difference between the two.
- 8:01Speaker 4: I didn't really. I tried. Is the best.
- 8:05Speaker 5: I could just stay kind of behind the cameras. I
- 8:09Speaker 5: was happy to be there. I didn't Yeah, I didn't
- 8:12Speaker 5: feel the heaviness because it wasn't on me, you know. So,
- 8:19Speaker 5: so you're not having any fomo.
- 8:21Speaker 2: They're filming right now right.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Well, you know, I see them filming and I see
- 8:26Speaker 5: I see the pages that like follow them around, and
- 8:30Speaker 5: it's like, ah, I could have been there, I could
- 8:32Speaker 5: have worn that or you know, but no, not really,
- 8:37Speaker 5: I'm happy for them, Not really. I'm also happy in
- 8:42Speaker 5: my own life right now.
- 8:43Speaker 2: What part of your life do you wish it would
- 8:46Speaker 2: have been shown?
- 8:48Speaker 5: My business, my sales floor, all we do for the community,
- 8:54Speaker 5: my family, trips with my husband, spiritual endeavors, gender reveal, party,
- 9:05Speaker 5: things that really should my life or made me human,
- 9:09Speaker 5: you know, the things that I was so worried about
- 9:13Speaker 5: coming into it, like being so much older than the
- 9:15Speaker 5: rest of the cast.
- 9:18Speaker 2: The Dino of it.
- 9:19Speaker 5: All became my story, and you know that's not my
- 9:25Speaker 5: whole story.
- 9:26Speaker 6: Can you tell us a little bit more about the
- 9:28Speaker 6: Kelsey and Dino story because I needed some more crumbs.
- 9:33Speaker 5: I mean, I don't think there was There wasn't much
- 9:36Speaker 5: to it. It was just we're Rhode Island. We're very small,
- 9:40Speaker 5: so you know, the chances of running into and you know,
- 9:45Speaker 5: having interactions with people are very high.
- 9:50Speaker 4: Wasn't that big of a deal.
- 9:52Speaker 3: And then what were your thoughts on Rula and her husband?
- 9:56Speaker 4: Exactly as you've seen, Those were my thoughts.
- 9:59Speaker 5: I thought that, you know, Rula had the opportunity to
- 10:03Speaker 5: shut it down relatively quickly and didn't because she was
- 10:07Speaker 5: so focused on white knuckling it out.
- 10:10Speaker 4: You know, again, what you resist persists in this world.
- 10:15Speaker 2: So I was so happy at the reunion when you
- 10:19Speaker 2: were vindicated about Rula's husband calling your husband and her
- 10:25Speaker 2: saying that never happened that never happened, and then he
- 10:29Speaker 2: and then he starts talking about it and she's like see,
- 10:32Speaker 2: and then he's like, well, yeah I did.
- 10:36Speaker 4: It's funny because Jerry only told me she had a party.
- 10:40Speaker 5: During the season and I was getting ready. I had
- 10:43Speaker 5: a day that day. I was late, and as I was.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Getting ready, that's when he told me.
- 10:49Speaker 5: He's like, oh, but by the way.
- 10:52Speaker 4: I'm like what you're just telling me? Now? He and
- 10:54Speaker 4: I laughed so hard to like we doubled over. But
- 11:02Speaker 4: it is what it is. Okay again, it's Rhode Island.
- 11:04Speaker 4: It's the chances of something like that not happening. Okay.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Hypothetically speaking, if what happened with you and Joe Ellen
- 11:14Speaker 2: never played out, do you think because you absolute fan
- 11:19Speaker 2: favorite from the beginning, do you think you would have
- 11:22Speaker 2: went back?
- 11:24Speaker 1: No?
- 11:25Speaker 2: Oh, well I.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Think that it was.
- 11:33Speaker 3: How do I put this?
- 11:36Speaker 5: No, I don't think that that was the full that
- 11:39Speaker 5: that was the defining factor in it, really do well.
- 11:45Speaker 2: Dolores did tell me several times during Aaron She says,
- 11:50Speaker 2: you know, I just don't think this is for Liz.
- 11:53Speaker 2: I just don't think like she's enjoying it. I don't
- 11:56Speaker 2: think that she has such a wonderful life and such
- 12:01Speaker 2: a happy life that I don't think this is her thing.
- 12:05Speaker 5: And I do, And I said from the beginning, if
- 12:11Speaker 5: this could be something that showed my organic life authentically,
- 12:18Speaker 5: then I am down.
- 12:19Speaker 4: I am so down because there are so.
- 12:22Speaker 5: Many facets to my life that are amazing, you know,
- 12:25Speaker 5: and that didn't end up being it. And it was
- 12:30Speaker 5: never a case of I needed to be hbiic Queen.
- 12:35Speaker 5: I never wanted that. I just merely wanted to survive.
- 12:43Speaker 6: Do you think, I mean, you brought up a good point,
- 12:46Speaker 6: your authentic life being shown. Of this group of girls,
- 12:49Speaker 6: who do you think is the most authentic and who
- 12:52Speaker 6: do you think is.
- 12:52Speaker 3: The least authentic to what we're watching on the show.
- 12:56Speaker 4: That's a good question, teddy question.
- 13:00Speaker 3: You know, there.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Are facets of everyone's life that is authentic and then
- 13:07Speaker 5: some that were maybe played up or played down.
- 13:12Speaker 2: But do you agree certain people act different on camera
- 13:15Speaker 2: versus off camera always?
- 13:18Speaker 4: Do you agree that? Yeah?
- 13:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but there's some people that I have worked with
- 13:24Speaker 2: that are totally different on camera and that's annoying to me.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Yeah, that happens, and that sometimes can be surprising, especially
- 13:37Speaker 5: season one of you know.
- 13:39Speaker 3: Is that kind of how you feel about Joe Helen.
- 13:42Speaker 3: She's keeping everything PC.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Y'all, but we're gonna pull it out of her one
- 13:46Speaker 2: way or another.
- 14:00Speaker 6: Who do you think you'll miss most from the cast, Dolores?
- 14:07Speaker 2: Well, would you ever go over to New Jersey and
- 14:09Speaker 2: film on that show?
- 14:11Speaker 1: No?
- 14:11Speaker 4: I just I love Rude Island. My heart resides here.
- 14:16Speaker 5: I am such a beautiful place. I love Rude Island.
- 14:20Speaker 5: There's no place I would rather be.
- 14:25Speaker 2: But speaking of being completely different, let's go back to that.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Rosie recently said that you're a completely different person when
- 14:32Speaker 2: the cameras aren't rolling.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I am.
- 14:36Speaker 5: You know, I'm the same. I might be even worse
- 14:39Speaker 5: for when the cameras aren't rolling.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Actually, you respond saying you look forward to the debuwers
- 14:46Speaker 2: get to see the real Rosie.
- 14:51Speaker 5: I thought that it was interesting that, you know, Rosie
- 14:56Speaker 5: got up on her podium and had to decided to
- 15:01Speaker 5: do a dissertation on why I left, when you know,
- 15:07Speaker 5: Rosie had a rosy time of it. So I think
- 15:12Speaker 5: I said before Rosie was the most irritating out of
- 15:17Speaker 5: the cast. I stamp I stand.
- 15:20Speaker 6: By that, and then looking back, like with your own
- 15:23Speaker 6: behaviors and the things that I mean, I look back
- 15:26Speaker 6: at some of the things I did and I'm like,
- 15:27Speaker 6: oh my gosh, how did.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I but me too?
- 15:31Speaker 4: Do you use crunch cringe? I can give you eight
- 15:35Speaker 4: thousand reasons as to why.
- 15:38Speaker 5: They still got it ahead of me and cringe all
- 15:42Speaker 5: the way.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Would you handbuild the homeless situation differently?
- 15:47Speaker 4: Say it again?
- 15:48Speaker 3: Would you have handled the homeless situation differently?
- 15:51Speaker 4: Or when did you shut the fuck up?
- 15:55Speaker 5: See I like you say so you you were like, I, yeah,
- 15:59Speaker 5: I would have see.
- 16:01Speaker 2: I see it, I see it. I see your side
- 16:03Speaker 2: on that, and I see what you were doing. And
- 16:06Speaker 2: it's like if Teddy had to move out of her
- 16:08Speaker 2: house because she's getting divorced what she is, and she's like,
- 16:12Speaker 2: I'm homeless, I'd be like, bitch, you ain't homeless. You're
- 16:15Speaker 2: not homeless. Like just like I've had to, I've gotten
- 16:18Speaker 2: a divorce and went and lived with my parents. Does
- 16:21Speaker 2: that mean I mean I understood what you're saying? And
- 16:24Speaker 2: also it does it's not a good look what I did.
- 16:27Speaker 8: In the moment, and I almost instantly regretted it, and
- 16:34Speaker 8: you know, at the table, instantly apologized because that is.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Not my place.
- 16:40Speaker 5: However you have felt are your feelings. I shouldn't shut
- 16:46Speaker 5: the fuck up. My intentions were good.
- 16:49Speaker 6: It kind of felt like to me, you forgot for
- 16:51Speaker 6: a second you were on camera and you were just
- 16:53Speaker 6: telling your friend like, don't say that, and then it's like, oh,
- 16:57Speaker 6: I I.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Even bought my hands like nah, Like I just wanted
- 17:02Speaker 4: to be like stop, no, don't what are you doing?
- 17:06Speaker 4: But mistake not my place?
- 17:10Speaker 2: You know, Well, that's the nature of the show though.
- 17:12Speaker 2: That's how this show works. You talk about things and
- 17:15Speaker 2: you give your opinion. You're not there to shut the
- 17:18Speaker 2: fuck up. And the good thing about Rhode Island that
- 17:21Speaker 2: I like the most is that you guys have all
- 17:23Speaker 2: known each other for so long that you do have information,
- 17:27Speaker 2: you do have intel. You can't say that's not what happened.
- 17:30Speaker 2: And I didn't think there was anything wrong with it.
- 17:32Speaker 2: I thought that it was blown out of proportion. There
- 17:36Speaker 2: was talk that you felt like you were maybe set
- 17:40Speaker 2: up or ambushed in that re or limo right or
- 17:45Speaker 2: whatever you were in.
- 17:49Speaker 6: You felt like that was definitely they planned that scene prior.
- 17:52Speaker 4: No, it was planned, it was with it was planned,
- 17:56Speaker 4: and you know, it's okay. I think that and maybe
- 18:01Speaker 4: this is why Dolores said it's not for me. I
- 18:08Speaker 4: don't play well on that field.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I just don't well because you're not playing in it.
- 18:14Speaker 6: But like I think it perfectly summed up your feelings
- 18:17Speaker 6: about doing it, when Ashley was going down the slide
- 18:21Speaker 6: and you're like, I am not putting on my bathing
- 18:23Speaker 6: suit and going down the slide right now. Like that
- 18:26Speaker 6: kind of showed like the different places where everybody was.
- 18:29Speaker 4: At, you know.
- 18:30Speaker 5: And then they have like Kelsey saying, what guys would
- 18:34Speaker 5: he want to be with three hot young girls in
- 18:38Speaker 5: bikinis on a water slide, and then they immediately zoom
- 18:43Speaker 5: in on me like the fourth hole, miserable and like
- 18:47Speaker 5: some weird tenn of Southfit that I just I was
- 18:51Speaker 5: like a calamity of errors for me.
- 18:54Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 18:57Speaker 6: Also, everybody wants to know what you whispered into Joellen's
- 19:02Speaker 6: ear at Capo.
- 19:04Speaker 4: It's so funny. I have no idea. I have no
- 19:07Speaker 4: idea might have.
- 19:08Speaker 5: I have no idea what I whispered out of ben
- 19:10Speaker 5: just or even did I either whisper anything?
- 19:14Speaker 4: I don't know, I who knows?
- 19:16Speaker 6: I did Joellen really think when you guys were fighting
- 19:20Speaker 6: that she was going to share a sig with you,
- 19:24Speaker 6: because like she like went to go take it out
- 19:26Speaker 6: of your hand, and you're like, uh oh, my cold
- 19:29Speaker 6: dead body is.
- 19:30Speaker 4: So fe I don't know.
- 19:33Speaker 5: I mean, I know that I walked into the day,
- 19:37Speaker 5: even from when I get out of the car going
- 19:39Speaker 5: into John's house. I even said out loud, I'm walking
- 19:44Speaker 5: into the red wedding right now. You know, I walked
- 19:48Speaker 5: into the whole day. Is so apprehensive and not mostly
- 19:56Speaker 5: because you know, I just I knew how it would
- 19:59Speaker 5: have gone. And you know this, I don't know. I
- 20:03Speaker 5: don't Joelle. We've never really shared a cigarette before that, so.
- 20:09Speaker 6: So just assume closeness that we believe to be true
- 20:13Speaker 6: is not actually true.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Like that, because there was a moment I fell for it.
- 20:17Speaker 6: I'm like, they are really close, And why is all
- 20:19Speaker 6: of a sudden list pulling away and pretending she's not
- 20:22Speaker 6: close with her?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Like, I mean, there.
- 20:24Speaker 4: Are facets of Joellen. You know you can't help but love.
- 20:28Speaker 4: She's fucking funny.
- 20:30Speaker 2: She's one of my favorites. She really is.
- 20:32Speaker 5: She met reality is so good. I just prior to filming,
- 20:41Speaker 5: like our relationship was uh brief and turbulent, at best,
- 20:48Speaker 5: but I did there are times when I really liked
- 20:52Speaker 5: I mean, I liked interacting with Joellen. She's charismatic. We
- 20:58Speaker 5: you know, the best friend thing kind of came on
- 21:02Speaker 5: a left field.
- 21:03Speaker 6: For me that it was never did you know any
- 21:07Speaker 6: of these women well other than I mean, like when
- 21:13Speaker 6: you started filming, like day one of filming, other than
- 21:16Speaker 6: like the maybe lunch you guys did before to get
- 21:19Speaker 6: to know each other.
- 21:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I've known Alisia again since she was born,
- 21:28Speaker 5: but there's such a large age disparity between us.
- 21:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I didn't know her on the level of bonded friendship, right.
- 21:42Speaker 3: No, that makes sense.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Let's talk about Kelsey a little bit. That's a lot
- 21:49Speaker 2: to unwrap. There was rumors out there that her and
- 21:53Speaker 2: her boyfriend had broken up before the show even started airing,
- 21:58Speaker 2: and I don't know that she actually answered that at
- 22:00Speaker 2: the reunion. I can't remember, But can you speak on
- 22:03Speaker 2: that at all?
- 22:08Speaker 5: I will say that the story you were shown is
- 22:14Speaker 5: basically the truth in the story.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Just a timing of different timing different but true.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Sorry, I mean no, not really, because feelings were there and.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Yeah, whatever, I've actually shocked that he allowed her to
- 22:32Speaker 2: film in the house. But yet his face was blurred
- 22:36Speaker 2: out in every picture.
- 22:39Speaker 3: He probably liked it.
- 22:41Speaker 2: I mean to show his face.
- 22:45Speaker 6: Because he doesn't want to be known. He wants the
- 22:48Speaker 6: inner circle people to know, because.
- 22:50Speaker 4: He didn't want to happen to him.
- 22:56Speaker 2: You know, if you went back, you would have had
- 22:58Speaker 2: an amazing season.
- 22:59Speaker 4: You know, who knows? Who knows?
- 23:02Speaker 5: It's hard, you know, there were so many variables where
- 23:06Speaker 5: I just felt like, you know, maybe if I had
- 23:13Speaker 5: a tight one tight ally or one person willing to
- 23:18Speaker 5: say it really isn't a scary you know, she'd give
- 23:22Speaker 5: her shirt off, the shirt.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Off her back for us, she do anything.
- 23:29Speaker 5: I think that being having such a strong personality, maybe
- 23:34Speaker 5: you know that was just a different plan for me.
- 23:36Speaker 2: Yeah, it's hard. Speaking of me, I'm the same. I'm
- 23:40Speaker 2: a strong personality. But I'll give my shirt off back
- 23:43Speaker 2: to anybody, and even people like to a fault if
- 23:46Speaker 2: they have hurt me, I will still if they need me,
- 23:48Speaker 2: I will be there for them. But you never get
- 23:50Speaker 2: to see that, you know, you don't get to see that.
- 23:54Speaker 5: And like I just to that point, I was never
- 23:59Speaker 5: in did and exposing anyone, calling anyone out shaming, certainly
- 24:07Speaker 5: not slut shaming. Don't want to, you know, it's just
- 24:11Speaker 5: not something I'm interested in my life at this juncture.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Do you think you would go on a show like
- 24:20Speaker 2: Traders if asked? Maybe I think you would be great
- 24:25Speaker 2: on that.
- 24:26Speaker 4: I don't know how well I do.
- 24:28Speaker 2: I think I do Greggs. You are very opinionated and
- 24:30Speaker 2: you will, you know, speak your mind. And it's not
- 24:33Speaker 2: like Housewives. It's not that drama filled let me attack you.
- 24:38Speaker 2: It's I mean, as Dolores probably told you, a pretty
- 24:41Speaker 2: cool experience. Really, I could see you one day.
- 24:46Speaker 4: Maybe you never know.
- 24:49Speaker 6: Were you surprised to see rule of filming?
- 24:54Speaker 4: You know?
- 24:55Speaker 6: Because to us it was kind of like you just
- 24:57Speaker 6: came out of nowhere and then we barely saw.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Filming season two both both. I actually recommended Rula for
- 25:08Speaker 5: season one. You did well, I did, you know. You
- 25:12Speaker 5: go down the list and you think of people you
- 25:15Speaker 5: know who you know that you got to tick so
- 25:19Speaker 5: many boxes, you know what I mean. It's definitely a
- 25:22Speaker 5: formula you can't just and I threw so many out there.
- 25:31Speaker 6: No shocked Holt the way she came out at the
- 25:33Speaker 6: reunion though, like a different person.
- 25:36Speaker 4: Whoa physically and otherwise.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yes, We've seen this happen before, not to this extent
- 25:46Speaker 2: on Housewives, Shannon Badoor's has been many years. Cheated on
- 25:51Speaker 2: her why they were filming, and it didn't end well.
- 25:56Speaker 2: And I just feel like if Rula stays on this show,
- 26:00Speaker 2: it's not going to end well for her marriage.
- 26:05Speaker 5: I mean, we could make the argument that that that
- 26:08Speaker 5: happens more than.
- 26:09Speaker 3: Not right, I mean, it could also hold it more accountable.
- 26:13Speaker 5: I think that they both really love everything about it
- 26:19Speaker 5: filming on the show.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I think they love it, and I think that.
- 26:26Speaker 5: What they want to get out of it supersedes the
- 26:30Speaker 5: negative stuff that happens to be tough.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I mean, I can't even imagine their conversations off camera
- 26:38Speaker 2: watching the show.
- 26:40Speaker 3: Well, I don't think it was a surprise to her.
- 26:43Speaker 4: And they you know, they may not be deep thinkers, really,
- 26:50Speaker 4: they may just.
- 26:51Speaker 6: Like I don't know, Well, clearly, do you think that
- 26:59Speaker 6: Kelsey and Bill are going to make it long term?
- 27:01Speaker 3: Speaking of relationships?
- 27:04Speaker 4: I hope.
- 27:05Speaker 1: So.
- 27:05Speaker 4: I really like Billy. He's a great guy.
- 27:07Speaker 2: I like him too, He's.
- 27:09Speaker 4: A great guys and he adores her. I hope.
- 27:13Speaker 2: So you can tell, you can totally tell. I mean,
- 27:15Speaker 2: he waited around for her for a long time.
- 27:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Yeah, tell us a little bit about your business, because
- 27:22Speaker 2: you said, you know, we didn't get to see a
- 27:24Speaker 2: whole lot of it. I'm also in the cannabis business,
- 27:26Speaker 2: but in a different area than you are, so you
- 27:30Speaker 2: have Is it the only dispensary in Rhode Island.
- 27:35Speaker 5: No, it's the first, though, and the first of three
- 27:39Speaker 5: that originally got licensed. And I mean we were really, really,
- 27:43Speaker 5: really on the ground floor.
- 27:45Speaker 4: We're on fourteen years now.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Wow, and we've built something pretty amazing and we've helped
- 27:54Speaker 5: a lot of people through that. Yes, and it's yeah,
- 27:59Speaker 5: it's been a process, and it's it's a lie, it's
- 28:02Speaker 5: it's it's my life.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Really.
- 28:05Speaker 2: You were talking with Delores about making a menopause gummy
- 28:09Speaker 2: or whatever it was, and I made it.
- 28:13Speaker 4: And it's incredible. I feel like.
- 28:16Speaker 3: Send it to us. I saw many people.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Would want it after seeing my behavior.
- 28:23Speaker 2: Oh that's not You're too hard on yourself.
- 28:28Speaker 4: This thing is so incredible.
- 28:30Speaker 5: But I have dumped so many things into it that
- 28:35Speaker 5: where I'm at right now is the taste isn't the best.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Which is hard to do with cannabis.
- 28:42Speaker 4: It's so hard to do. And the cannabis.
- 28:45Speaker 5: Commonent components in it are non psychoactive components of the
- 28:50Speaker 5: plant to be able to sell it, you know, across
- 28:54Speaker 5: state borders. But they worked synergistically with other things in it.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Saffron for mood, black cohosh for temperature or regulation. There
- 29:08Speaker 5: are so many things in this that is.
- 29:11Speaker 2: There is there THHC in it as well.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Now, so this CBD, CBG, CBN different components that also work.
- 29:23Speaker 4: So well with other parts of this.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Maybe I put too much in and every time I
- 29:32Speaker 5: go back to the drawing board, I get it.
- 29:34Speaker 4: I'm so excited and it's like battery acid. The taste is.
- 29:41Speaker 7: There's ashual ganda in there, there's lions, mean the fully,
- 29:46Speaker 7: things that are really sorry, things that are really beneficial.
- 29:52Speaker 2: Now, is this something that you can sell online or
- 29:54Speaker 2: just strictly your dispensary.
- 29:56Speaker 5: Since eventually line everywhere and the components come from Hemp.
- 30:03Speaker 4: See that's a female plan.
- 30:05Speaker 2: Yes, so our company is all TC from Hemp. So
- 30:09Speaker 2: we're able to sell online.
- 30:12Speaker 4: Oh that's amazing.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Yeah, except for California just stopped us.
- 30:28Speaker 6: There's one other thing was that I was thinking about that.
- 30:32Speaker 6: You know you're you've you're hard on yourself.
- 30:34Speaker 3: I feel you. I you know, I feel you.
- 30:37Speaker 6: How that can happen, especially watching yourself back on the
- 30:40Speaker 6: first season. But there's something that you did that I
- 30:43Speaker 6: think changed a lot of people's lives in the positive.
- 30:46Speaker 6: And that's when you were at I don't know if
- 30:49Speaker 6: it was dinner or lunch with Rula, and she essentially
- 30:52Speaker 6: didn't said you didn't birth your children, and I think,
- 30:57Speaker 6: you know, like, I have an amazing, amazing stepdaughter that
- 31:01Speaker 6: I met was a baby, like, She's changed my life.
- 31:05Speaker 6: She made me want to have kids, you know, like
- 31:07Speaker 6: more kids, like And when she said that to you,
- 31:10Speaker 6: like and you just handled it with such grace, but
- 31:13Speaker 6: you were like, doesn't make me not a mother?
- 31:16Speaker 3: And I just it like Sudcomb to so many of us.
- 31:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I think that I in the moment, I was
- 31:24Speaker 5: probably tough on Rula, but you know where I stand
- 31:28Speaker 5: on it now is willing to accept she may have
- 31:32Speaker 5: been a bit ignorant on that whole thing. And I
- 31:39Speaker 5: also get what she meant.
- 31:41Speaker 2: You know, it was rude. I'm sorry, it's just rude.
- 31:44Speaker 2: My husband has no biological kids, but he's had my kids.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I mean, my daughter was four and you know it
- 31:51Speaker 2: doesn't make him any less of a dad, no, and
- 31:54Speaker 2: he calls them his kids, and it's all.
- 31:58Speaker 4: At times it can be even more o cult.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Right, oh for sure.
- 32:02Speaker 5: And you know, to hear that it was just like,
- 32:05Speaker 5: you know, it felt someone entitled and somewhat and I
- 32:11Speaker 5: think that it was just on her part, maybe a bit.
- 32:19Speaker 5: She didn't have a bunch of self awareness and that's
- 32:24Speaker 5: reflection there.
- 32:24Speaker 2: And I got to believe, you know, but I gotta
- 32:27Speaker 2: believe after watching she had to feel bad about that
- 32:30Speaker 2: because she is a mother. Yeah, yeah, maybe it's just ignorance,
- 32:36Speaker 2: like you don't in touch.
- 32:38Speaker 4: She's just she's a bit out of touch. And I
- 32:43Speaker 4: like Roula, you know. I mean, even if you do
- 32:47Speaker 4: feel that way, I don't know. Even if I felt
- 32:50Speaker 4: that way, I don't know that i'd come out and
- 32:52Speaker 4: say it to someone.
- 32:54Speaker 2: What do you feel was your happiest moment happiest episod
- 33:00Speaker 2: So the one where you're like, I just love this.
- 33:02Speaker 2: This is like a memory I'll have forever documented.
- 33:07Speaker 4: That's a good question. I don't know. Maybe Jerry and
- 33:11Speaker 4: I on the boat, even though you know.
- 33:14Speaker 5: They've turned it into they had to sell the boat
- 33:17Speaker 5: because the Feds are.
- 33:18Speaker 4: Coming from them.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't hear that.
- 33:21Speaker 4: Oh, it's every It's.
- 33:22Speaker 5: So ridiculous that that may have been a sweet memory.
- 33:29Speaker 5: We made several that you don't really see. The gender
- 33:32Speaker 5: reveal party was exceptionally.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Special for me. Yeah, how is your grandbaby so amazing?
- 33:41Speaker 4: She's so amazed.
- 33:42Speaker 2: How old is she?
- 33:43Speaker 1: Know?
- 33:44Speaker 4: She's five months?
- 33:45Speaker 2: Oh, that's such a great age. And what's her name?
- 33:48Speaker 4: Milania?
- 33:49Speaker 3: Milania?
- 33:50Speaker 6: Oh?
- 33:50Speaker 3: I love it's. Well, we're excited to also say that
- 33:56Speaker 3: you were.
- 33:56Speaker 6: Going to be recapping Orange County with us this week,
- 33:59Speaker 6: well because the tamer can't recap and Dolores is out
- 34:02Speaker 6: of town.
- 34:02Speaker 2: Are nice to me, be nice to me.
- 34:05Speaker 4: We're excited to do that. So excited to.
- 34:10Speaker 6: Do that was like I never listened and I got
- 34:12Speaker 6: to text you got it wrong, blah blah.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Worry about me. I'm honest, but I'm fair and I
- 34:23Speaker 4: love to root for the underdog. No matter what did
- 34:27Speaker 4: you watch? I don't care what viewers think of I
- 34:30Speaker 4: love that.
- 34:30Speaker 5: Ever.
- 34:31Speaker 2: Did you watch Housewives before you joined the cast of
- 34:34Speaker 2: Rhode Island?
- 34:35Speaker 5: Yeah, hardly missed an episode of a franchise.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Do you have a favorite franchise?
- 34:44Speaker 4: I think i'd like go Jean, New York. I don't
- 34:47Speaker 4: have a favorite. I mean they're also but they all
- 34:50Speaker 4: give different and different.
- 34:52Speaker 5: I mean, you know, certainly, I'll say, because you guys
- 34:55Speaker 5: are the ogs.
- 34:56Speaker 2: We are old bitches is what we are at this point.
- 35:00Speaker 4: I like salt Lake so good, right, Potomac's so good.
- 35:05Speaker 4: They're all so good.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I feel like Salt Lake and Rhode Island really changed
- 35:09Speaker 2: the game and Housewives because they stopped bringing on like
- 35:13Speaker 2: new shows, or they tried to reboot New York a
- 35:16Speaker 2: total reboot and it kind of flopped. Now, yeah, it
- 35:19Speaker 2: took their time to redo it, but you guys showed
- 35:21Speaker 2: that it can happen. They can do it and it
- 35:25Speaker 2: is successful.
- 35:27Speaker 5: Look, Red Island is so original and unique and we
- 35:32Speaker 5: are very specific here that you've not seen anywhere else.
- 35:37Speaker 4: And I mean I think because of that, it can't lose.
- 35:41Speaker 5: You know, we are literally one degree of separation, so
- 35:46Speaker 5: weings like it.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Whether we were.
- 35:48Speaker 5: Close coming in or not. We are a very tight
- 35:53Speaker 5: knit community.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Yeah, you recently told us. I think we learned at
- 35:57Speaker 2: the reunion that your cat passed away. Oh so sad,
- 36:02Speaker 2: So sorry about that. Did you get a new one,
- 36:05Speaker 2: any new pets?
- 36:07Speaker 4: I've not.
- 36:08Speaker 5: In fact, I had two cats, and after gone passed,
- 36:14Speaker 5: the other one wasn't doing so well as well.
- 36:22Speaker 4: You are not gone, Jake. He was. Yeah, he was
- 36:27Speaker 4: always on the bed and Jerry's highly allergic. He's not
- 36:30Speaker 4: two bangles. And I've since had to surrender her and
- 36:35Speaker 4: she's now in a forester home.
- 36:38Speaker 5: But I think that there'll be a day when Gunge
- 36:42Speaker 5: comes back and finds me.
- 36:44Speaker 4: I feel like he's this was his fourth time around
- 36:47Speaker 4: with me.
- 36:48Speaker 5: So yeah, there's there's like grief in that, and I
- 36:53Speaker 5: know it's just a cat, but it's super heavy.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Yeah, well there's also grief that you're not coming back.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I know that you feel a certain way, but I'm
- 37:02Speaker 2: telling you have a lot of fans. People love you,
- 37:05Speaker 2: can't wait to see what you do next.
- 37:08Speaker 4: We love you, I love you guys. Thank you for
- 37:12Speaker 4: having me.
- 37:13Speaker 6: Of course, I'm on a practice.
- 37:16Speaker 4: I'm like on an exile island.
- 37:19Speaker 8: No you're not.
- 37:20Speaker 6: And we'll get right into it when we get into
- 37:22Speaker 6: Orange County, and it'll feel like nothing because you won't
- 37:24Speaker 6: be talking about anything that involves yourself and then you
- 37:27Speaker 6: can just pretend and we zone out.
- 37:30Speaker 4: Yeah, that's much easier.
- 37:31Speaker 2: You could just talk about me. It's okay. I'm used
- 37:34Speaker 2: to have opinions.
- 37:35Speaker 5: I am loving you on this season. It doesn't feel forced,
- 37:41Speaker 5: it feels light. I get what happened last season, the heaviness,
- 37:49Speaker 5: the gravity of what was happening with Teddy and her
- 37:52Speaker 5: being a true blue and then having to go and
- 37:56Speaker 5: deal with this drama with her. It's fucking difficult and
- 38:02Speaker 5: it can bring out shit in you you didn't even.
- 38:05Speaker 4: Know, is it? I get Listen, I get that.
- 38:09Speaker 5: And then having to show up sad, heavy, right and
- 38:14Speaker 5: be a t things in life is that are really
- 38:18Speaker 5: really real and really difficult, and then having to show
- 38:22Speaker 5: up with shit that's like so fucking stupid.
- 38:26Speaker 4: I get it.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Gets like two times in my journey on Housewives, if
- 38:32Speaker 2: this has happened, and that was Teddy, who I love dearly, oh,
- 38:37Speaker 2: and my custody battle that year that I did. My
- 38:44Speaker 2: custody battle was when I was in Bali and my
- 38:46Speaker 2: husband was trying to take my kids away. And it's
- 38:49Speaker 2: so difficult to film when your fucking heart is so broken.
- 38:54Speaker 4: And navigate when you have other heavy things.
- 38:58Speaker 2: I so get that.
- 39:00Speaker 5: And Teddy, let me just say you are a beacon,
- 39:05Speaker 5: my friend, you an icon. There can be nothing more difficult,
- 39:12Speaker 5: nothing well, I mean, you know, other than like losing
- 39:15Speaker 5: a child or something.
- 39:16Speaker 2: But you.
- 39:20Speaker 4: Are so strong and you handle all of this with
- 39:24Speaker 4: such grace, And what could be more important to show?
- 39:28Speaker 4: What journey could be more important to show?
- 39:32Speaker 3: Truly, it's really been the only thing that got me through.
- 39:35Speaker 4: You know, you said last week, but I don't.
- 39:38Speaker 5: It was almost like you felt bad that you don't
- 39:40Speaker 5: feel gratitude.
- 39:41Speaker 4: There are stages to everything, and why should you? You know,
- 39:46Speaker 4: why should you? Maybe you're in the angry feace, which
- 39:49Speaker 4: is fucking normal.
- 39:50Speaker 2: It's fine, it's fine, and I should that you are
- 39:54Speaker 2: just she think so many people well, I think sometimes.
- 39:59Speaker 6: People are super like uber positive, like almost like that
- 40:03Speaker 6: toxic positivity, and then they pushed that on you, and
- 40:07Speaker 6: then you're like, hold on, Emma, is this how I'm
- 40:10Speaker 6: supposed to feel? And then I'm like, one, I just
- 40:13Speaker 6: don't feel that way at all, and two I can't
- 40:15Speaker 6: lie to the people that are going through this.
- 40:17Speaker 4: Yeah, no, there are no rules. There are no rules
- 40:20Speaker 4: to this. How do you know?
- 40:22Speaker 5: I mean, I just think that you've been so strong
- 40:27Speaker 5: and you've handled it with incredible grace, and.
- 40:33Speaker 2: You know she's the strongest person I know.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Well, thank you, guys. I appreciate you.
- 40:40Speaker 2: Definitely changed my life and the way I look at
- 40:42Speaker 2: things and look at friends.
- 40:45Speaker 4: Even mine. This is the first time we've met, you know,
- 40:49Speaker 4: that's fucking scary. We think we have problems.
- 40:52Speaker 2: Come on, yeah, they say you can have a million problems,
- 40:55Speaker 2: which you don't have your health, you have one, got nothing.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm really and I do know that.
- 41:02Speaker 6: I'm very grateful and I know that I couldn't have
- 41:04Speaker 6: done it without like the support.
- 41:07Speaker 3: And that's where this.
- 41:08Speaker 6: Doing these types of things does help, because the amount
- 41:11Speaker 6: of women that reached out after talking about it, like
- 41:14Speaker 6: with you guys on the pod, that'll reach out to
- 41:16Speaker 6: me and say, you know, I felt that same exact way.
- 41:19Speaker 6: You feel so much less alone. So in that way,
- 41:21Speaker 6: this platform can be really positive.
- 41:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I just say, I just have to say, it's
- 41:26Speaker 5: it's incredible the way you've done it, the way you've
- 41:30Speaker 5: not let it define who you are as a woman.
- 41:35Speaker 4: You've stayed steadfast.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Oh, thank you so much, and you've shown it, You've
- 41:40Speaker 5: shown it truthfully and real and I really respect that.
- 41:45Speaker 2: And I've never seen anybody look so beautiful. Same fighting cancer.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Oh my god, same, well, same, you know, the help
- 41:56Speaker 6: of glam. It's like, you know, I really today, it's
- 42:02Speaker 6: a little rough going around you.
- 42:03Speaker 2: Okay, Tolly, you were at my house last week and
- 42:05Speaker 2: came home from the horse show, took a shower, no
- 42:07Speaker 2: makeup on, and was sitting there talking. I'm like, you're
- 42:10Speaker 2: beautiful without makeup. Thank you.
