- 0:00Speaker 1: What's going on? It's Romeo. Hey, we talked about the Rams.
- 0:03Speaker 1: The Rams fans have all disappeared. Plus, when it comes
- 0:07Speaker 1: to your buddy coming over for beer, getting called out
- 0:10Speaker 1: for a drink after work, how long should that take?
- 0:14Speaker 1: Because I think this is so strange, the way some
- 0:18Speaker 1: of you guys are loyal, more loyal to other.
- 0:23Speaker 1: Something other than your spouse. So last weekend I went
- 0:27Speaker 1: to a, uh, it was an alumni, uh, alumni event
- 0:31Speaker 1: at a college. And there was about, it was like
- 0:34Speaker 1: a dinner, a barbecue dinner type thing before the football
- 0:39Speaker 1: game for the college. And there was, there must've been
- 0:42Speaker 1: about five, 600 people at this thing. Okay. Maybe, maybe yeah,
- 0:46Speaker 1: about five or 600 people there.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Right.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Every single person that I saw, and I'm being 100%
- 0:55Speaker 1: accurate about this, every single person that I saw was
- 1:01Speaker 1: either wearing a shirt or something from that college. Now,
- 1:10Speaker 1: I'm assuming that most of the people were the alumni
- 1:12Speaker 1: of the college wearing college gear.
- 1:17Speaker 4: All of them.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Now, the people that weren't wearing the college gear from
- 1:22Speaker 1: that college just were wearing regular clothes, except for one woman.
- 1:29Speaker 1: I am not exaggerating. This is very, this is as
- 1:33Speaker 1: accurate as you can get. One woman out of these
- 1:36Speaker 1: 500 people or so had on a shirt from a
- 1:42Speaker 1: different college. Not the college we were all at. But
- 1:48Speaker 1: a different college. So let me ask you this question.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Is she a jackass? Because I didn't talk to her.
- 1:59Speaker 1: But I will tell you this. From what I can
- 2:03Speaker 1: make out of the whole scenario, her spouse went to
- 2:07Speaker 1: the college. And her spouse was not wearing a.
- 2:14Speaker 1: The colors of the college. Oh, I think she might
- 2:16Speaker 1: have the shirt of the colors of the college on,
- 2:18Speaker 1: but not the college emblem, right? So she was an
- 2:25Speaker 1: alumni of the school, but her wife was wearing a
- 2:31Speaker 1: different college. The only person at this event, there's a
- 2:36Speaker 1: lot of people there, was wearing a shirt that represented
- 2:42Speaker 1: a different college. Now, I'm assuming that the woman, that
- 2:46Speaker 1: was the college the woman went to. But that's not
- 2:50Speaker 1: the point. What kind of jackass do you have to
- 2:53Speaker 1: be to not support your spouse at their alumni event?
- 3:00Speaker 1: And the reason I bring this up is because all
- 3:02Speaker 1: you idiots do this with your friends and your family
- 3:05Speaker 1: and your spouses when it comes to sports teams. Like,
- 3:09Speaker 1: when I go to the Dodgers games with my friends
- 3:11Speaker 1: who are all Dodger fans, Daniel Rodriguez's Dodger tickets, who's
- 3:17Speaker 1: a Dodger fan, if my friends say, hey, we want
- 3:21Speaker 1: you to wear a Dodger jersey with us, I'll wear
- 3:23Speaker 1: a Dodger because they're my friends. I love them. But
- 3:27Speaker 1: you guys are so adamant. And that's when I recognized
- 3:31Speaker 1: this at this alumni event I was at. What is
- 3:34Speaker 1: wrong with this woman? Am I wrong? Or is she
- 3:37Speaker 1: a jackass? for not supporting, well, I didn't go to
- 3:41Speaker 1: that school, so I'm not going to support. I got
- 3:43Speaker 1: to support this other college because that's where I went.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I got to stay true. You're staying more true to
- 3:49Speaker 1: the college you went to than to your own spouse?
- 3:53Speaker 1: That's how you feel? I do not understand the arrogance
- 3:59Speaker 1: in that. I do not understand this whole idea. What
- 4:04Speaker 1: have you lost? I wore a Raider jersey one time.
- 4:09Speaker 1: A friend of mine calls me up. He goes, hey,
- 4:10Speaker 1: I'm buying a truck in Delano Chevy. They said if
- 4:13Speaker 1: you take a picture in a Raider jersey, they'll give
- 4:16Speaker 1: me some more money off. And I said, sure. And
- 4:21Speaker 1: this was years ago, and they took more money off
- 4:22Speaker 1: for him. He's a friend of mine. I didn't care.
- 4:25Speaker 1: What have I lost? What have I lost? What do
- 4:29Speaker 1: you lose by supporting somebody you love or care about
- 4:34Speaker 1: by representing what they want, by representing what they were
- 4:37Speaker 1: a part of? Or am I totally wrong? Was that
- 4:42Speaker 1: woman totally in the right to wear a different college shirt?
- 4:46Speaker 1: By the way, she was the only one in all
- 4:49Speaker 1: five or six hundred people that were there.
- 4:52Speaker 6: Good morning, Romeo.
- 4:53Speaker 1: What up, brother?
- 4:55Speaker 3: Okay, so I got to tell you like this, man.
- 4:57Speaker 6: So if you spent your time, you went to college,
- 5:00Speaker 6: you did.
- 5:01Speaker 4: All that, that means something to you.
- 5:03Speaker 6: You know, you represented this whole time, you.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Know, to get through what you had to get through
- 5:08Speaker 2: to get your degree.
- 5:10Speaker 6: That means something.
- 5:13Speaker 1: I understand that. That's not what I'm saying. What I'm
- 5:15Speaker 1: saying is if you and I go to an event
- 5:18Speaker 1: together and I'm there to support you, And I should
- 5:23Speaker 1: be representing you, not my college, to be a jackass
- 5:28Speaker 1: because nobody else had their other college's shirts on. Just her.
- 5:33Speaker 3: I would never ask somebody to do that. I wouldn't
- 5:36Speaker 3: expect anybody to do that. I would expect.
- 5:38Speaker 6: Everybody to represent what they like. You know what I mean?
- 5:41Speaker 4: But you don't have to change yourself. For me, you
- 5:43Speaker 4: know what I mean?
- 5:44Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you this question. This is all
- 5:46Speaker 1: I want. How are you losing? How are you changing
- 5:49Speaker 1: yourself by doing that? I'm not even saying represent. Here's
- 5:53Speaker 1: the thing, though. She could have just wore a regular
- 5:57Speaker 1: shirt that didn't have no college on it.
- 5:59Speaker 6: That's my point.
- 6:00Speaker 1: She went out of her way to represent her college,
- 6:04Speaker 1: which to me makes her a jackass. She's going out
- 6:08Speaker 1: of her way to be a jackass.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Okay, well, let me tell you this.
- 6:12Speaker 4: She didn't go out of her way to get that degree.
- 6:14Speaker 1: But that's not the point. That would be like me
- 6:19Speaker 1: going to... What's your favorite sports team?
- 6:24Speaker 6: Okay, you're going to wear a KUZZ shirt?
- 6:27Speaker 2: What?
- 6:28Speaker 6: Will you wear a KUZZ shirt?
- 6:30Speaker 1: Would I wear one?
- 6:31Speaker 4: Yeah. You're different, bro.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You're different. Let me ask you. I'll put it to
- 6:36Speaker 1: you like this. If I met Buck Owens and Buck said, hey,
- 6:41Speaker 1: we're going to an event, would you mind wearing this shirt? Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I would wear it for him.
- 6:45Speaker 6: You know what, Romeo? You're right, bro.
- 6:48Speaker 1: But my point is not even that she wore the shirt.
- 6:52Speaker 1: She could have not wore a shirt with a college
- 6:54Speaker 1: on it. That means she actively made a decision to
- 7:00Speaker 1: be a jackass.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Well, she's probably living those days that she had to
- 7:05Speaker 3: get up every day and make those sacrifices to go
- 7:07Speaker 3: to that school and do everything she had to do.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You're missing the point. She could have just wore a
- 7:13Speaker 1: regular shirt with nothing on it.
- 7:16Speaker 6: I get that part, too, but she's taking herself back.
- 7:20Speaker 6: to all the trouble, you know what I mean? No,
- 7:22Speaker 6: she ain't.
- 7:23Speaker 1: No, what she's doing is she was actively, she made
- 7:26Speaker 1: a conscious decision to be in A, you know what,
- 7:29Speaker 1: is what she did. Because she wasn't, she's probably one
- 7:32Speaker 1: of these. She wanted to stand out.
- 7:34Speaker 6: Huh? She wanted to stand out.
- 7:35Speaker 1: She was trying to show out.
- 7:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And I'm going to take it a step further. She
- 7:40Speaker 1: probably did it because she thinks her college is better
- 7:44Speaker 1: than the one we were at. So she wanted to
- 7:47Speaker 1: prove a point.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Why not?
- 7:51Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 7:53Speaker 6: Yeah, you're right.
- 7:54Speaker 3: You can only take a step back from your body.
- 7:58Speaker 1: It took me three minutes to bring you around. You
- 8:04Speaker 1: like that, man.
- 8:04Speaker 7: You can do that.
- 8:05Speaker 6: You're a convincing guy. Very convincing.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I'm just saying that the option is to just wear
- 8:11Speaker 1: regular clothes, not represent anything. If you don't want to
- 8:14Speaker 1: represent your spouse's college because you didn't go there, that's fine.
- 8:18Speaker 1: But don't go out of your way consciously to do
- 8:20Speaker 1: something to be a jackass.
- 8:23Speaker 4: A jackass, right.
- 8:25Speaker 1: And let me ask you this question. In all fairness,
- 8:29Speaker 1: should your college come before your spouse? Or should a
- 8:34Speaker 1: sports team come before your spouse?
- 8:38Speaker 4: OK, not your sports team.
- 8:40Speaker 6: Right.
- 8:40Speaker 3: But if your college, your college probably did come before yourself.
- 8:44Speaker 3: You know, that was part of your life before your spouse.
- 8:47Speaker 4: So that's understandable.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Now, let me ask you this question. You're in college
- 8:51Speaker 1: four years and then you might be with your spouse 40.
- 8:56Speaker 4: If you're lucky.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yeah, that's fair.
- 8:59Speaker 6: If you're not from Beckerfield.
- 9:01Speaker 4: If you're not from Beckerfield.
- 9:03Speaker 1: All right, man. Get out of here.
- 9:05Speaker 6: Later.
- 9:06Speaker 1: All right. All I'm saying is it looks like she
- 9:08Speaker 1: made a conscience effort to be in it. You know what?
- 9:12Speaker 1: To be a jackass. How about supporting your spouse? So
- 9:17Speaker 1: you guys explain this to me.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Okay.
- 9:19Speaker 1: So I went to this, an event over the weekend.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It was an alumni for a college. And there was
- 9:24Speaker 1: about 500, 600 people there at this event I was at, right?
- 9:28Speaker 1: One person out of all of these people was wearing
- 9:32Speaker 1: a college T-shirt from another college. Everybody else either had
- 9:36Speaker 1: the school colors on, the school logo on, or was
- 9:40Speaker 1: just wearing regular clothes. One woman. Her spouse went to
- 9:46Speaker 1: the college. One woman. You know she did that on
- 9:50Speaker 1: purpose to be a jackass, right?
- 9:51Speaker 6: Right?
- 9:53Speaker 1: Good morning, Rob.
- 9:54Speaker 6: What's going on?
- 9:55Speaker 4: Good morning, Romeo.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Hey, what's up?
- 9:57Speaker 5: It's called attention-seeking.
- 10:00Speaker 8: That's that's all that it is i swear they do
- 10:04Speaker 8: it at the high school games they do it at
- 10:07Speaker 8: step like you're talking about man like you just can't
- 10:11Speaker 8: go with the flow you just have to.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Be the where's waldo.
- 10:14Speaker 6: In the group like Like.
- 10:19Speaker 8: Just can't go with the flow.
- 10:21Speaker 2: It just got to be different.
- 10:22Speaker 8: So somebody, you know, got to be the polka dot
- 10:24Speaker 8: in a plain background.
- 10:26Speaker 1: That's so funny. Oh, my gosh. You ain't lying. You
- 10:29Speaker 1: are not lying. That's so funny.
- 10:33Speaker 8: There's always a few of them.
- 10:34Speaker 2: It's like the ones that go to the pro game.
- 10:36Speaker 8: You had the 49ers and the Raiders game, but here
- 10:39Speaker 8: you come with a Rams jersey.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Like, nobody even asked about you.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Like, what sense does that make?
- 10:47Speaker 6: Like, I don't know. Every time I see one of
- 10:52Speaker 6: those little fans in a whole arena.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Of other fans, I'm just like.
- 10:57Speaker 8: Now, why would you do that?
- 10:59Speaker 1: Yeah, you put it in a perfect perspective right there. Yeah. But, yeah,
- 11:05Speaker 1: I just.
- 11:06Speaker 6: All right. Yeah, all right.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought
- 11:09Speaker 1: she was being a jackass. No, she was, most definitely. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 11:18Speaker 1: So I had to go to this event over the
- 11:20Speaker 1: weekend and last weekend, and... It was an alumni event.
- 11:24Speaker 1: So it was, and there was a lot of people there, five,
- 11:26Speaker 1: 600 people, right? All of these people were either wearing
- 11:29Speaker 1: just regular old clothes or they had, you know, the
- 11:31Speaker 1: school colors on with the logo, whatever, different folks, right?
- 11:34Speaker 1: Because alumni. One spouse, and I'm assuming she had to
- 11:38Speaker 1: be a spouse because she wore a different college's t-shirt.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Only one that was representing some other college. Either these
- 11:47Speaker 1: people were representing the college we were at or nothing.
- 11:51Speaker 1: You know she did that on purpose to be a jackass, right?
- 11:54Speaker 1: She had to. You can't rep your spouse. Nobody said
- 11:57Speaker 1: you had to wear your spouse's college colors, but you
- 12:00Speaker 1: could have just wore regular clothes. So you know she
- 12:04Speaker 1: actively did that on purpose, right? Already 4-2-5-4, 7-7. What's
- 12:08Speaker 1: going on? Hey, what's up.
- 12:11Speaker 6: Roland Seahawk Lou?
- 12:12Speaker 1: What up, Lou?
- 12:13Speaker 7: Hey, so about two years ago, my dad, we did
- 12:18Speaker 7: a birthday party for my dad, and he's a Raiders fan.
- 12:24Speaker 7: And the biggest question.
- 12:25Speaker 4: Was, this Raiders birthday.
- 12:28Speaker 7: Themed party that we did for him.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Are we all going to have to wear a Raiders jersey?
- 12:36Speaker 7: Or are we going to take our own football jersey?
- 12:39Speaker 7: So I thought to myself, if I have to, I'll
- 12:44Speaker 7: go buy a Gardner Minshew jersey slap it on, and
- 12:48Speaker 7: go to the party because it's about the theme, you
- 12:52Speaker 7: get me? That's when the Raiders were down in the dumps, man.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Just to be fair, Lulu, you could have just wore
- 12:59Speaker 1: a black shirt. You didn't have to have a logo
- 13:02Speaker 1: on it. That's okay.
- 13:03Speaker 7: Yeah, but I wouldn't have thrown on the Seahawks jersey,
- 13:07Speaker 7: you know what I mean?
- 13:07Speaker 1: Well, that's what I mean. That's my point is I
- 13:10Speaker 1: think this woman consciously did it on purpose to be
- 13:14Speaker 1: a jackass. amongst this group of, and I think she
- 13:18Speaker 1: was doing it out of arrogance and ego because she
- 13:21Speaker 1: thought her college was better than the college that we
- 13:23Speaker 1: were at.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Definitely, definitely.
- 13:26Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 13:27Speaker 7: Like, I would have just done it just to support.
- 13:30Speaker 1: So what did you do? What did you wear?
- 13:34Speaker 4: Oh, nah.
- 13:35Speaker 7: So he's like, nah, anybody can wear whatever.
- 13:37Speaker 4: So the whole family.
- 13:39Speaker 7: Went in a whole Seahawks jersey, you know.
- 13:41Speaker 4: I had my cleats on and everything.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're an idiot. You are a straight idiot. All right,
- 13:46Speaker 1: get out of here. But that's my point about the
- 13:51Speaker 1: whole scenario is at what point does the person you
- 13:55Speaker 1: love and care about, whether it be a family member,
- 13:58Speaker 1: whether it be a friend, whether it be a spouse,
- 14:01Speaker 1: at what point is that more important than... Representing something
- 14:08Speaker 1: else just to be a jackass. Representing... Oh, I can't
- 14:11Speaker 1: wear that.
- 14:11Speaker 4: Oh, I.
- 14:12Speaker 1: What do you lose? That's what I don't understand. I
- 14:15Speaker 1: wish I was so stupid and insecure that I could
- 14:18Speaker 1: understand all of you idiots out there who won't wear
- 14:22Speaker 1: another something, whether it be another opposite of a college
- 14:26Speaker 1: you went to or whether it be a team because of, oh,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I'm so loyal. I can't be seen in that. Well,
- 14:33Speaker 1: what kind of insecure moron do you have to be
- 14:36Speaker 1: to think like that when it comes to supporting a
- 14:39Speaker 1: friend or a loved one or a spouse or, you know...
- 14:42Speaker 1: Any of it. I don't... I just... I guess I'm just.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I'm right. I'm a different cat. That's why I'm better
- 14:49Speaker 1: than you. So I was... I had to go to
- 14:51Speaker 1: this event over the weekend and last weekend. And it
- 14:55Speaker 1: was an alumni event. So it was... And there was
- 14:57Speaker 1: a lot of people there. Five, six hundred people, right?
- 15:00Speaker 1: All of these people were either wearing just regular old
- 15:02Speaker 1: clothes or they had, you know, the school colors on
- 15:04Speaker 1: with the logo, whatever. Different folks, right? Because alumni. One spouse.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And I'm assuming she had to be a spouse because
- 15:11Speaker 1: she wore... a different college's t-shirt. Only one that was
- 15:16Speaker 1: representing some other college. Either these people were representing the
- 15:20Speaker 1: college we were at or nothing. You know she did
- 15:24Speaker 1: that on purpose to be a jackass, right? She had to.
- 15:27Speaker 1: You can't rep your spouse. Nobody said you had to
- 15:30Speaker 1: wear your spouse's college colors, but you could just wear
- 15:32Speaker 1: regular clothes. So you know... She actively did that on purpose, right?
- 15:38Speaker 1: Or am I wrong about that? Because the way I
- 15:40Speaker 1: see it is she did that to try to prove
- 15:43Speaker 1: a point. How can you not? If you're going somewhere
- 15:47Speaker 1: with your spouse and that wasn't your team, your college,
- 15:51Speaker 1: your whatever, then don't wear anything. At least have enough
- 15:55Speaker 1: respect for your spouse through that, right? I think she
- 15:57Speaker 1: did it because she's just a jackass. But I could
- 16:00Speaker 1: be wrong. Hey, Rome, they should have kicked her ass
- 16:03Speaker 1: out of the alumni party. The arrogance of it was
- 16:08Speaker 1: just unbelievable to me. Yo, Rome, I don't know how
- 16:14Speaker 1: I stand on this. I feel like she was probably
- 16:16Speaker 1: trying to show, hey, I didn't go there, but went here.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Maybe a compromise or a flex. Or they're sports rivals
- 16:28Speaker 1: within the college. They weren't sports rivals within the college,
- 16:31Speaker 1: but even if they were, I like the way she's
- 16:33Speaker 1: trying to throw flex.
- 16:35Speaker 6: I mean, I.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Don't see it. I think it's a lot different from
- 16:42Speaker 1: doing this at a college event than like a high
- 16:44Speaker 1: school event. College is more prideful, but I think it's
- 16:48Speaker 1: more of a status flex because you ain't going to
- 16:52Speaker 1: wear a BC sweater to a Cal Poly party But
- 16:55Speaker 1: I don't know, Rome, you should support your spouse. But
- 16:58Speaker 1: if your spouse ain't dressed in their own college gear
- 17:00Speaker 1: at their event, hey, then I see it as an
- 17:04Speaker 1: open game and they can wear what they want. Okay,
- 17:09Speaker 1: I see where you're going with it. But, yeah, I
- 17:16Speaker 1: see what you're saying, but you just don't do it.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I just think it's disrespectful. you know, to your spouse,
- 17:22Speaker 1: to the other people at the event. I mean, you're
- 17:24Speaker 1: trying to act like because you went, you think your
- 17:27Speaker 1: college is more prestigious than the college your spouse went to,
- 17:31Speaker 1: so let me go flex on these fools. That makes
- 17:33Speaker 1: you look stupid. And by the way, oh, I had
- 17:38Speaker 1: some conversations with other people there, and everybody that I
- 17:42Speaker 1: spoke to noticed. That was the first thing they noticed.
- 17:45Speaker 6: You know?
- 17:46Speaker 1: But it's just the arrogance. The arrogance to do it, uh,
- 17:51Speaker 1: makes you look like a jackass. And she did really
- 17:55Speaker 1: going to talk about football, but I was brought to
- 17:57Speaker 1: my attention earlier this morning. Uh, a buddy, a guy, no, he, uh,
- 18:02Speaker 1: he's a big, uh, Rams fan, big Rams fan. I
- 18:04Speaker 1: goes to every game, even travels. I think even travels
- 18:07Speaker 1: out of town to go to the Rams. Like he's
- 18:09Speaker 1: a big Rams fan, right? He was asking this morning.
- 18:12Speaker 1: He said, Rome, you got to ask everybody where their
- 18:14Speaker 1: Ram fans at. I guess the Ram fans have all
- 18:18Speaker 1: disappeared since they suck now. Um, And, my God, if
- 18:24Speaker 1: they lose to the Raiders this weekend, oh, my gosh. So,
- 18:28Speaker 1: he said, we're all them real Rams. I guess there's
- 18:30Speaker 1: no more Rams fans in Bakersfield, he was telling me.
- 18:32Speaker 1: He asked me where they all went. I know where
- 18:35Speaker 1: they all went. They all went to the 49ers. You
- 18:38Speaker 1: know these bandwagon fans in Bakersfield can't stay loyal to none.
- 18:42Speaker 1: Can't stay loyal to a team. Can't stay loyal to
- 18:45Speaker 1: a wife. Can't stay loyal to anything. So, yeah, they
- 18:47Speaker 1: went to all them Rams fans are now bandwagon Niner fans.
- 18:53Speaker 1: They just jump back and forth. If the Rams come back,
- 18:57Speaker 1: start winning some games, then they'll get off that bandwagon,
- 19:00Speaker 1: that Niner bandwagon, jump back on that Rams bandwagon. You
- 19:06Speaker 1: know those fans aren't loyal. There's very few loyal fans,
- 19:10Speaker 1: especially in Bakersfield. Maybe 10% of you are actually loyal fans. But,
- 19:18Speaker 1: you know, it is what it is. So where are
- 19:20Speaker 1: the Rams fans at? That's it. That's what my boy
- 19:23Speaker 1: was telling me. Where are them Rams fans at? Yeah,
- 19:25Speaker 1: they're all-nighter fans now. So one of the guys at
- 19:29Speaker 1: the gym was asking me. He's a big Rams fan.
- 19:31Speaker 1: He was asking me about the Rams. He said, Rome,
- 19:33Speaker 1: you got to find out where all them Ram fans
- 19:34Speaker 1: are at right now. Yeah, the Ram fans are bandwagon fans.
- 19:37Speaker 1: The problem with Bakersfield is just they're all, you're a
- 19:40Speaker 1: pathetic fan base. I think I'm going to go back
- 19:43Speaker 1: to just letting the old school, Chili Gilly, Raider Joe,
- 19:48Speaker 1: there's a couple, Rollercoaster, Seahawk Lou. I think I'm going
- 19:53Speaker 1: to just let some of the older guys or the
- 19:56Speaker 1: guys that are real fans call when they lose fans.
- 20:01Speaker 1: I think I'm just going to go back to letting
- 20:02Speaker 1: those guys talk. The rest of you guys can either
- 20:04Speaker 1: listen to someone else or just don't call me. Because
- 20:08Speaker 1: It's kind of pathetic, to be honest with you, how
- 20:11Speaker 1: sad you and embarrassing you fans make yourselves look. And
- 20:15Speaker 1: that's why my boy was asking me about it. Because
- 20:19Speaker 1: he said, man, where are the Rams fans at, Rome?
- 20:21Speaker 1: I said, I don't know, man. They all sleep in,
- 20:24Speaker 1: I guess. You know, they're all on that other bandwagon. Hey,
- 20:28Speaker 1: good morning, Rome. True Rams fan here. Forget the Niners.
- 20:32Speaker 1: They're still not going to win the Super Bowl. Win
- 20:35Speaker 1: or lose, I'm still going to rep my team all season.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Yeah, don't overcompensate. Don't try too hard. Yeah, what's going on?
- 20:45Speaker 7: What's up, bandwagon?
- 20:47Speaker 1: Why not, man?
- 20:48Speaker 4: Oh!
- 21:02Speaker 3: That's my team.
- 21:05Speaker 1: That's my team. Minnesota 5-0 or 6-0. That's right, baby boy.
- 21:09Speaker 4: We undefeated. We came to the Super Bowl.
- 21:15Speaker 1: One of the guys at the gym, he's a big
- 21:16Speaker 1: Rams fan. He said, Rome, you got to ask where
- 21:18Speaker 1: all them Ram fans are at. And I said, I
- 21:20Speaker 1: don't know, man. They disappeared, boy. You ain't lived in
- 21:25Speaker 1: a town until you lived in Bakersfield on all these
- 21:27Speaker 1: fake-ass fans who just jump on that bandwagon. I mean,
- 21:31Speaker 1: I don't know if you can buy a bus pass
- 21:33Speaker 1: for it or not, but you fools be jumping on
- 21:35Speaker 1: and off these bandwagons, these buses, like they ain't nothing.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I don't know if you got a transfer pass or
- 21:40Speaker 1: what's going on, but damn, Rams fans just disappeared. Hey, Rome,
- 21:46Speaker 1: I haven't seen a single Chargers jersey in town this season. Well, yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: because we live in one of the fakest fan-based towns
- 21:56Speaker 1: I've ever lived in. You guys are such pathetic losers.
- 22:01Speaker 1: And for some reason, boy, it's embarrassing. And it's obvious.
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'm not just, a lot of people go, Rome, why
- 22:08Speaker 1: you always got to be starting? Because it's obvious. It's obvious.
- 22:15Speaker 1: I'm not making it up. Everybody knows what I'm talking about.
- 22:20Speaker 1: What was happening? What was happening in week three? Whose house?
- 22:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Where'd those guys go? Whose house?
- 22:38Speaker 2: From Raider 2.
- 22:39Speaker 1: What's going on, man?
- 22:41Speaker 6: Whose house, anyway?
- 22:47Speaker 4: That's some funny stuff, man.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Man, these fools disappeared faster than a Raider fan who
- 22:52Speaker 1: goes and has to pay child support. Oh, my God.
- 22:55Speaker 4: Hey, you know, it's crazy. These Cowboys fans. And then
- 23:00Speaker 4: we're going to have to deal with them crying and everything.
- 23:03Speaker 4: And we already said, we know we sorry. Well, real
- 23:06Speaker 4: Raider fans. Super Bowl.
- 23:07Speaker 1: But anyway, we got to get it.
- 23:08Speaker 6: Dude.
- 23:14Speaker 4: When are the 49ers going to get hurt?
- 23:19Speaker 1: They start like this every year.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Bang, bang, Niner game. All the grocery ladies. Everybody at
- 23:26Speaker 4: the pond. Even at the pond, they play.
- 23:30Speaker 1: They almost wrapped up. Don't worry. We've got a couple
- 23:32Speaker 1: more weeks of the Niners. Then everybody will be off
- 23:34Speaker 1: that wagon.
- 23:35Speaker 4: It's either going to be pretty.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Or McCaffrey.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Yeah, a couple more weeks, Joe. That bus will break down.
- 23:44Speaker 4: We'll be good. And then after that, the other side
- 23:45Speaker 4: will go down the deep end. All right, Russ.
- 23:51Speaker 1: Later, Joe. Oh, that's hilarious. All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7, Rome. Most
- 24:00Speaker 1: of the Rams fans I know are older. They're probably
- 24:03Speaker 1: already napping from having breakfast like at 5 a.m. Like
- 24:09Speaker 1: I said, man, nipples disappeared, boy.
- 24:13Speaker 4: Yeah, I have the answer.
- 24:19Speaker 6: Crickets.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Crickets. That's the answer. But don't worry.
- 24:29Speaker 2: They have Miles Garrett now.
- 24:31Speaker 1: And his old team is doing better than them. I know.
- 24:38Speaker 1: My God. That's embarrassing. Rams fans are embarrassing.
- 24:43Speaker 4: You know, they said, oh, we got Miles Garrett now.
- 24:46Speaker 6: I said, uh-huh.
- 24:48Speaker 4: He's hurt, right?
- 24:49Speaker 1: He played one quarter, and he's hurt.
- 24:53Speaker 4: He's like Joey Porter, man. He's like Joey Porter Jr.
- 24:56Speaker 4: He plays a quarter of a game, and he's hurt.
- 24:59Speaker 4: What is your.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Problem with Joey Porter Jr., Gilly?
- 25:02Speaker 2: No, he's sick again.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Do you know he draws more flags than the United Nations?
- 25:09Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 25:10Speaker 4: He has more holding ability than Gorilla Glue.
- 25:13Speaker 6: Oh, God. Later, brother. Later.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Dang, ain't nothing wrong with Joey Porter Jr.
- 25:20Speaker 4: man, Gilly.
- 25:21Speaker 6: Leave him alone.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Hey, Rams, haven't been winning. So what would we call
- 25:28Speaker 1: and say? Well, here's the problem. This is why you
- 25:32Speaker 1: guys are a bunch of fake-ass fans. Because you only
- 25:37Speaker 1: call when they're winning. Call and say they suck. Represent
- 25:41Speaker 1: your team. Still Rams all day. Yeah, I don't believe you. However,
- 25:47Speaker 1: they aren't anything worth talking about. So what do you
- 25:50Speaker 1: want us to say? Say they suck. That's what I'm saying.
- 25:55Speaker 1: I mean, if you go here like I have, there's
- 25:59Speaker 1: a guy who owns a gym next to the one
- 26:03Speaker 1: I go to. He's a huge Raider fan.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Right.
- 26:07Speaker 1: He always talking about the Raiders. Always positive. Always trying to,
- 26:12Speaker 1: you know, support his team, even when they're losing. Always
- 26:14Speaker 1: finds an upside.
- 26:15Speaker 6: Right.
- 26:16Speaker 1: That's what you're supposed to do. Not act like a
- 26:20Speaker 1: little you-know-what and go hide under the covers in a
- 26:22Speaker 1: fetal position because you're an embarrassment to football fandom. I mean, yeah.
- 26:32Speaker 1: That's what... I'll tell you. I don't know if I've
- 26:36Speaker 1: told you guys the story. Well, never mind. I won't
- 26:40Speaker 1: tell you. I'm just saying. That just shows how fake
- 26:42Speaker 1: of a fan you guys really are. Fairweather fans. And
- 26:46Speaker 1: I don't really blame you, actually. Because we live in California.
- 26:50Speaker 1: And where we live in Vegas was beautiful. We got
- 26:53Speaker 1: the ocean a couple hours away. You got L.A. for
- 26:57Speaker 1: those of you that like that. You got the mountains
- 26:59Speaker 1: over here. We got Vegas over there. We got San...
- 27:02Speaker 1: I mean, we have a lot of other things to
- 27:05Speaker 1: do other than be real fans of a sports team.
- 27:09Speaker 6: You know? So, yeah.
- 27:12Speaker 1: That's funny because the guy who... who told me to
- 27:17Speaker 1: start this whole conversation about, cause he's a real Rams fan.
- 27:21Speaker 1: And he said, you got to find out where the,
- 27:22Speaker 1: we talk about the Rams every day. Even if we're
- 27:26Speaker 1: just joking around about how they suck, you know, or
- 27:30Speaker 1: who every day talk a little football and the Rams
- 27:33Speaker 1: come up cause he's a Rams fan. Just like the
- 27:36Speaker 1: guy who, uh, the gym, he's a Raiders fan. The
- 27:39Speaker 1: Raiders come up every day. So yeah, there's a lot
- 27:42Speaker 1: to talk about during football season. You guys are just
- 27:46Speaker 1: an embarrassment to fandom because you're not real fans. So
- 27:51Speaker 1: like I said, whose house? What did you send me here? Hey, Rome.
- 28:07Speaker 1: All the hype around my team this offseason just for
- 28:10Speaker 1: them to play terrible. Exactly. Oh, my man got a streak.
- 28:17Speaker 1: First of all, bro, that's pretty badass. My man got
- 28:21Speaker 1: a bar in his corner. That's pretty badass. Got a
- 28:25Speaker 1: Rams bar. That's pretty badass. That's pretty badass. We're going
- 28:33Speaker 1: to call it the loser bar, I guess, because it's
- 28:34Speaker 1: got the Rams logo and the Dodgers in there. We're
- 28:37Speaker 1: going to call that the loser bar. But it's a
- 28:39Speaker 1: pretty badass loser bar. I ain't going to lie. Someone
- 28:43Speaker 1: sent me a picture of their bar in their house. Hey,
- 28:45Speaker 1: good morning, Rome. How about a song for Raiders? Nah, Raiders.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Like my boy Big Boy just said, Rome, hit me
- 28:53Speaker 1: off with a Raiders song. Because Big Boy's a Raiders fan.
- 28:55Speaker 1: I said, nah, your turn will be on Monday. It's
- 28:57Speaker 1: the Rams' turn today. It's the Rams' fans' turn today.
- 29:00Speaker 1: Let the Rams' fans have their shine as being one
- 29:05Speaker 1: of the most embarrassing fan bases in Bakersfield. Only other
- 29:09Speaker 1: more embarrassing fan base than the Rams is the Niners
- 29:12Speaker 1: because we know they just all fade. The bigger the chain,
- 29:15Speaker 1: the faker the fan. You know how that goes. I mean,
- 29:19Speaker 1: stereotypes are there for a reason. I've lived in Vegas
- 29:21Speaker 1: for long enough to see what type of embarrassment you
- 29:24Speaker 1: guys are when it comes to rooting for anything. You
- 29:27Speaker 1: guys are the biggest, the biggest, fakest bandwagoners on the
- 29:34Speaker 1: planet when it comes to sports. It doesn't matter. What
- 29:41Speaker 1: I don't understand is how you don't have any shame
- 29:45Speaker 1: about it. How can you legitimately look yourself in the
- 29:49Speaker 1: mirror knowing that you're a fake-ass fan? What kind of
- 29:55Speaker 1: narcissist do you have to be to convince yourself that
- 29:59Speaker 1: that's your team? I have this buddy, and he's funny.
- 30:05Speaker 1: He'll tell you he's a bandwagon. He got a jersey
- 30:09Speaker 1: from every team, but for him, it's funny. He doesn't
- 30:16Speaker 1: actually believe it. You guys actually make yourselves believe that
- 30:22Speaker 1: you're a fan of a team until they lose. I
- 30:26Speaker 1: just don't know how you do it. Good morning, Rome.
- 30:30Speaker 1: As a Rams fan, there's no excuse. They suck this year.
- 30:33Speaker 1: They were the paper Super Bowl to start off the preseason.
- 30:37Speaker 1: The rivals across the bay have a handicapped team and
- 30:42Speaker 1: still undefeated either way. Coaching are just plain and simple.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Winning teams aren't made of individual superstars. They are made
- 30:52Speaker 1: of playing as a team. Simply, they suck. Well, they're
- 30:58Speaker 1: not good. I'll tell you that much. They are not good.
- 31:03Speaker 1: What is this? Somebody sent me a.
- 31:07Speaker 6: Oh, okay.
- 31:08Speaker 1: For some reason, somebody sent me a... A wall with,
- 31:11Speaker 1: you know, what are they called? Fat heads? Or what
- 31:13Speaker 1: are those logos that you hang on your wall? Somebody
- 31:16Speaker 1: has one with the Chiefs on it. But nothing else
- 31:19Speaker 1: in the room. Hey, Rome. Tell me why this friend
- 31:23Speaker 1: I have known for years went from being a Charger
- 31:26Speaker 1: fan to a Niner fan. This happened yesterday. Well, here's
- 31:30Speaker 1: the bottom line. And this is fact. This is not me,
- 31:35Speaker 1: you know, talking crazy. This is fact. 95% of Bakersfield
- 31:40Speaker 1: are bandwagon fans, okay? 95% are fake-ass football fans. They
- 31:47Speaker 1: just jump on whatever team's winning and unroll with it
- 31:52Speaker 1: because it makes them feel better, I guess. I mean,
- 31:56Speaker 1: that's just fact. You have no– there's very– about 5%
- 31:59Speaker 1: of the town is a true– are true real fans
- 32:02Speaker 1: of a sports team. Hey, you have a cheese fan.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I looked at myself in the mirror and said, I'm
- 32:08Speaker 1: the biggest bandwagon Raider and door your fan in Bakersfield. Hey,
- 32:15Speaker 1: you might be already for two, five, four, seven, seven. Oh,
- 32:20Speaker 1: the guy, the guy who sent me the picture of
- 32:21Speaker 1: the bar. He said, damn Rome loser bar. That's funny.
- 32:26Speaker 1: My team might be losing, but me and these drinks aren't.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I mean, you got a badass bar. I ain't gonna lie, bro.
- 32:32Speaker 1: You got a nice selection of whiskey. Looks like you
- 32:35Speaker 1: got a little tequila right there. But once you have
- 32:38Speaker 1: all the Rams memorabilia and the Dodger gear, turns into
- 32:42Speaker 1: a loser bar. But it's a nice looking spot. I
- 32:46Speaker 1: ain't gonna lie. Nice looking spot. And you got some
- 32:52Speaker 1: good whiskey and tequila there. Or is that all tequila? Oh, no,
- 32:57Speaker 1: he got a bottle of Crown right there. A bottle
- 32:59Speaker 1: of L.A. Crown. Yeah, I mean, I'm just saying. If
- 33:02Speaker 1: your team's not undefeated, what are you really doing this year? Hey,
- 33:05Speaker 1: good morning, Rome. It's Gilrod here, streaming from the Bay.
- 33:09Speaker 1: The most annoying Niner fans are the guys with those
- 33:11Speaker 1: fake-ass chains. If you see a, quote, Niner fan with
- 33:16Speaker 1: a chain on, you know he's on the wagon. Yeah,
- 33:21Speaker 1: that's what I always say. The bigger the chain, the.
- 33:26Speaker 1: The bigger the chain, the faker the fan. Anyone who
- 33:31Speaker 1: has to overcompensate, you guys probably don't remember when 24
- 33:33Speaker 1: Hour Fitness was here, right? And the shorter the dude,
- 33:37Speaker 1: the higher the truck. You know, he was always trying
- 33:38Speaker 1: to overcompensate. That's the same thing with these fans in Bakersfield.
- 33:42Speaker 1: The more they represent over the top, the faker the
- 33:46Speaker 1: fan they are, you know? Happens in all aspects of life. Hey, Rome,
- 33:51Speaker 1: what do you think about the Raiders? You think they'll
- 33:54Speaker 1: start winning again? Asking for a friend. I think they're
- 33:57Speaker 1: going to beat the Jets. Do I think they're going
- 34:00Speaker 1: to beat the... I don't... I'll give them a 50-50
- 34:02Speaker 1: shot against the Rams. I mean, the Rams are still...
- 34:06Speaker 1: Even though they're a terrible team, they're still... The Raiders
- 34:09Speaker 1: are a terrible team, too, so... I think they're only
- 34:14Speaker 1: one game apart, right? Oh, maybe two games. What was I... Oh,
- 34:18Speaker 1: I got to... What was I going to tell you? Oh,
- 34:20Speaker 1: I want to talk about this. This is... What's your definition...
- 34:25Speaker 1: of a couple of beers. So yesterday was taco Tuesday.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Now I have a couple of buddies that I don't,
- 34:33Speaker 1: I talk to them more than I actually see them,
- 34:36Speaker 1: you know, cause they got jobs, they work all day.
- 34:38Speaker 1: A couple of guys work in the oil fields, you know,
- 34:40Speaker 1: they're always working. Um, so a buddy of mine, who
- 34:43Speaker 1: I don't get to see much, uh, he calls me up.
- 34:46Speaker 1: He says, yo bro, I'm getting out early today. Um,
- 34:48Speaker 1: you want to go taco Tuesday? So he's getting off
- 34:51Speaker 1: about four, right? So he says, um, you know, let's
- 34:55Speaker 1: go have a beer and, uh, catch up a little bit.
- 34:58Speaker 6: Not sure.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I wasn't doing, I was at the house chilling. And
- 35:01Speaker 1: so he says, let's go have a beer. I get dressed.
- 35:04Speaker 1: I meet him at the spot. And, um, this fool literally,
- 35:10Speaker 1: literally had two beers and was like, all right, man,
- 35:17Speaker 1: I gotta go. But then for like an hour, two, two, two,
- 35:22Speaker 1: first of all, it took him an hour to drink
- 35:23Speaker 1: two beers. And I was thinking to myself, what do
- 35:27Speaker 1: you mean? Bro, for this, I could have stayed home, okay?
- 35:33Speaker 1: You got me out the house on a Tuesday for
- 35:39Speaker 1: two beers? That's a waste of time.
- 35:44Speaker 7: Seriously.
- 35:45Speaker 1: I could have stayed home and not had a drink
- 35:47Speaker 1: at all and been fine. Kicked at the house. I mean,
- 35:52Speaker 1: you know what? You could have actually... You could have
- 35:55Speaker 1: just stopped by the house on your way home. We
- 35:57Speaker 1: could have had a couple of beers in the garage
- 35:58Speaker 1: and you could have went home if that was your plan.
- 36:01Speaker 1: But to actually go out and someone says, hey, let's
- 36:06Speaker 1: go have a let's go have a beer or a
- 36:08Speaker 1: couple of beers or let's go to happy hour. You
- 36:11Speaker 1: meet up with some friends. What what what does that
- 36:14Speaker 1: mean to you? What does that mean to you when
- 36:19Speaker 1: your friend calls you and says, hey, let's go have
- 36:21Speaker 1: a drink? I'll put it in female terms because that's
- 36:24Speaker 1: usually what females say to each other. Hey, let's meet
- 36:26Speaker 1: up and go have a drink. Guys usually say, let's
- 36:28Speaker 1: go have a beer. What does that mean to you?
- 36:34Speaker 1: How do you define that? Because to me, if he
- 36:38Speaker 1: calls me at 3.30 and says, hey, I'm getting out
- 36:42Speaker 1: of here at 4.00, let's meet up. I'm planning until
- 36:47Speaker 1: at least 9.00. I'm planning 4.00 to 5.00 hours. Okay.
- 36:54Speaker 1: That's what I'm planning for me to get out the house.
- 36:57Speaker 1: It's going to be a four to five hour run
- 36:59Speaker 1: on a Tuesday home by nine. You know, I got
- 37:02Speaker 1: to get up at three. I'm good to go, but
- 37:06Speaker 1: come on. What does that mean to you? When you
- 37:09Speaker 1: get that phone call from someone and they say, Hey,
- 37:11Speaker 1: let's go have a drink. Let's go have a beer.
- 37:15Speaker 1: How do you define that? So it's funny. A friend
- 37:18Speaker 1: of mine, he said, um, He hit me up. You know, hey, Ron,
- 37:22Speaker 1: let's go have a beer. After work, he got off
- 37:25Speaker 1: work early, and I said, yeah, let's go. All right,
- 37:27Speaker 1: so I meet him, right? So about 4 o'clock, a
- 37:29Speaker 1: little after 4. And this fool has two beers and says,
- 37:33Speaker 1: I got to go.
- 37:33Speaker 6: Right? Two beers.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Took like an hour. Like, who the hell goes out
- 37:40Speaker 1: for an hour? I could have just as easily stayed
- 37:42Speaker 1: home and, you know, if somebody says, let's go have
- 37:49Speaker 1: a beer, or let's go have a drink, and they
- 37:54Speaker 1: literally mean one drink or two beers or whatever, just
- 37:58Speaker 1: stop by the house. We have beer at the tailgate
- 38:01Speaker 1: in the garage, okay? That's just ridiculous.
- 38:04Speaker 6: Good morning, Hop.
- 38:05Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 38:06Speaker 6: Hey, what's up, bro? Hey, Ruben. What up, man?
- 38:08Speaker 4: Bro, you got to know your buddies a little bit better.
- 38:10Speaker 3: You know which ones are like that because I got
- 38:12Speaker 3: one that when he calls me.
- 38:14Speaker 4: And he tells me to come through and he wants
- 38:15Speaker 4: to have a beer, I already know more than half
- 38:17Speaker 4: the time he wants to talk because he's having issues.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. He didn't have any issues. We
- 38:23Speaker 1: just hadn't seen each other in a while. I don't, okay.
- 38:26Speaker 4: Yeah, but this fool will have like two tall cans,
- 38:27Speaker 4: one run for him and one for me.
- 38:29Speaker 6: And I'm like, huh? I'm like, good thing I got
- 38:32Speaker 6: the ice chest in the truck. You know what I mean? Yeah.
- 38:34Speaker 4: And he's like, oh, I'm not planning on drinking that much.
- 38:37Speaker 4: And I'm like, okay. So, I mean, he lives way
- 38:40Speaker 4: out there on Panama.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Well.
- 38:41Speaker 4: I won't go out there.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm talking about actually going out to a restaurant
- 38:46Speaker 1: or a bar. This guy, if you're going to have
- 38:48Speaker 1: a beer or two, stop by the house. Then you
- 38:49Speaker 1: can have a beer and leave.
- 38:51Speaker 6: Yeah, you're going.
- 38:52Speaker 4: To invite me to go to a restaurant. We better
- 38:54Speaker 4: be chilling for two, three hours.
- 38:56Speaker 6: Exactly. All right, Ruben. Later.
- 38:58Speaker 2: All right.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I mean, that's what I'm saying. If you're going to say,
- 39:01Speaker 1: let's go out, right? Like, let's go. Hey, I don't
- 39:05Speaker 1: care if it's Tuesday, Wednesday. I don't care if it's
- 39:07Speaker 1: a day of the week, you know? I mean, if
- 39:10Speaker 1: it's a Saturday, then we're probably going to go for
- 39:12Speaker 1: a little while, okay? But come on, man. At least
- 39:17Speaker 1: a couple of hours. I'm not going to leave the
- 39:19Speaker 1: house to go have a beer and go home. That's
- 39:22Speaker 1: just stupid. already four two five four seven seven man
- 39:27Speaker 1: rome that's uh man that is no real oil fill
- 39:30Speaker 1: workers two beers and it took them uh that long
- 39:35Speaker 1: for two beers what a loser what like but that's
- 39:38Speaker 1: what i'm saying i mean and i know i've hung
- 39:41Speaker 1: out with the guy before i mean he's been my
- 39:44Speaker 1: friend for a long time and he'll drink more but
- 39:47Speaker 1: i mean it's got to be a minimum If your
- 39:50Speaker 1: friend asks you to go out for a drink, it's
- 39:53Speaker 1: got to be a minimum four drink. It's got to
- 39:55Speaker 1: be a four drink minimum, right? Beers, maybe four tall
- 40:00Speaker 1: boys or four talls. But come on, man. Who goes
- 40:04Speaker 1: out for one drink? I mean, you know when you
- 40:07Speaker 1: go out for one drink? That's at lunch. Like if
- 40:09Speaker 1: you're going to meet somebody for lunch, you know, and
- 40:12Speaker 1: you just got an hour for lunch before you go
- 40:14Speaker 1: back to work so you meet somebody, that's a one
- 40:16Speaker 1: drink minimum. But if you're going to meet somebody after work,
- 40:19Speaker 1: it's got to be at least a four-drink minimum. If
- 40:21Speaker 1: somebody says, hey, let's have a drink, four-drink minimum. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 40:30Speaker 1: If you just want to have a couple of beers,
- 40:32Speaker 1: just stop by the crib. We could have a couple
- 40:34Speaker 1: of beers in the garage if that's all it's going
- 40:36Speaker 1: to be. So a buddy of mine, he says, he
- 40:38Speaker 1: got off for a lap and seen him in a while.
- 40:40Speaker 1: He calls me up, hey, I'm getting off early. Let's
- 40:41Speaker 1: go have a beer. I said, okay. You know, this
- 40:44Speaker 1: fool drank two beers, less than an hour. I got
- 40:47Speaker 1: to go. Bruh, don't ever call me again. What does
- 40:51Speaker 1: that mean? How do you define going out for a drink?
- 40:55Speaker 1: At least four drink minimum. Least two to three hours.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Least four. You know, at four o'clock in the afternoon,
- 41:01Speaker 1: if we going out, we home by eight. Four hours, right?
- 41:05Speaker 1: Already four, two, five, four, seven to seven. Hey, you home?
- 41:09Speaker 1: So what happened after you left? Did you go home? No,
- 41:12Speaker 1: I stayed out.
- 41:14Speaker 2: I'm out.
- 41:16Speaker 6: All right.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Hey, Rome. So one of my buddies had told me
- 41:19Speaker 1: the same thing. Hey, let's go have a couple of beers.
- 41:21Speaker 1: A couple of beers turned in the last call for alcohol.
- 41:24Speaker 1: That's a couple of beers to me. There you go.
- 41:27Speaker 1: Good morning, Hot. What's going on?
- 41:29Speaker 6: Good morning, Romeo.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Hey, what's up?
- 41:31Speaker 4: So you mean to tell me if you invite me
- 41:34Speaker 4: on a run, we going on a marathon, right?
- 41:36Speaker 6: No.
- 41:37Speaker 1: We going.
- 41:37Speaker 6: Come on.
- 41:38Speaker 1: If I say let's go have a drink, it's got
- 41:41Speaker 1: to be a four-drink minimum. At least two hours. Who's
- 41:44Speaker 1: leaving the house for anything less than that?
- 41:47Speaker 2: You only having one drink an.
- 41:48Speaker 6: Hour, Lou?
- 41:49Speaker 5: No.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Well, two hours. I mean, I'm just saying, I'm giving
- 41:54Speaker 1: you a time. I'm giving you, I'm giving my buddy
- 41:57Speaker 1: the benefit of the doubt. He could have had a
- 41:59Speaker 1: four-drink minimum in two hours at least. I don't need
- 42:02Speaker 1: to leave the house for an hour. You could just
- 42:04Speaker 1: stop by the crib for a minute. You don't need that, man.
- 42:06Speaker 6: I get you.
- 42:10Speaker 8: Well, for me, you know, how many beers I'm going to.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Have, it's zero. I don't like beer.
- 42:19Speaker 1: But what about drinks?
- 42:22Speaker 8: We talking about three shots. Yeah, I can have maybe
- 42:26Speaker 8: about three.
- 42:28Speaker 2: About three-ish.
- 42:30Speaker 4: And then it's time to go. It's time to go.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Well, I ain't inviting you out for a drink then.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Hell no. I ain't leaving the house for three shots.
- 42:40Speaker 1: You do three shots in an hour. I'm a pool bad.
- 42:43Speaker 4: I'm a pool bad. I'm not well seasoned.
- 42:45Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 42:48Speaker 4: All right. All right.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Well, thanks for calling later. I'm just saying, if you
- 42:53Speaker 1: want me to leave the house at 4 p.m. any
- 42:57Speaker 1: given day, I ain't just rolling out for an hour.
- 43:01Speaker 1: You know, at least three, four hours. I mean, come
- 43:06Speaker 1: on now.
- 43:06Speaker 3: R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Buddy of mine, I haven't seen him in a while.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I guess he got off work early. And he calls me.
- 43:13Speaker 1: He goes, hey, it was about 4-3-30 or so. He goes,
- 43:15Speaker 1: I'm going to get off. Let's go have a beer.
- 43:17Speaker 1: And it's about 4 o'clock. I said, yeah, I'll meet you.
- 43:20Speaker 1: It's full of two beers. Went home. Took less than
- 43:22Speaker 1: an hour, about an hour. I'm like, bro, that's just
- 43:26Speaker 1: a stop by. That's not going out. If you're just
- 43:29Speaker 1: going to have two beers and leave, that's just stopping
- 43:31Speaker 1: by the house on your way home from work. You know,
- 43:34Speaker 1: I'm going to go out. I'm going to go out.
- 43:35Speaker 1: That's just a waste of time. Already 4, 2, 5, 4, 7, 7. Hey, Romeo, nah,
- 43:41Speaker 1: a couple of beers have to be minimum 15 to 25,
- 43:44Speaker 1: anything less than that. Call another friend to hang out.
- 43:48Speaker 1: Don't call me. Well, that's a little excessive on a weekday.
- 43:57Speaker 1: But if you're going to call me to go out
- 43:58Speaker 1: at 4 on a weekday, I got at least four
- 44:01Speaker 1: hours in me, you know. But come on now. That's
- 44:05Speaker 1: like when a fool, like I got this buddy. He
- 44:08Speaker 1: calls me to go to Luigi's, right, on a Saturday.
- 44:13Speaker 1: Luigi's is a great spot to go on a Saturday.
- 44:16Speaker 1: He calls me noon, go to Luigi's. All right, let's
- 44:22Speaker 1: roll over to Pyrenees, have a couple. What are you
- 44:25Speaker 1: talking about? I got other things to do now. So
- 44:28Speaker 1: he rolls out, and I head to Pyrenees. Then you
- 44:31Speaker 1: got to head back. You know, then you got to
- 44:32Speaker 1: head back to your side of town. But, you know,
- 44:36Speaker 1: Luigi's for lunch on a Saturday is just not Luigi's
- 44:38Speaker 1: for lunch on a Saturday. You don't go have lunch
- 44:41Speaker 1: at Luigi's before you head over to Home Depot. Your
- 44:44Speaker 1: day's done. You invite me to Luigi's on a Saturday.
- 44:48Speaker 1: The rest of the day, we're just day drinking. And
- 44:50Speaker 1: that's it. Nothing else. Catch a game. Maybe head over here.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Have some more food. I mean, lunch at Luigi's on
- 44:58Speaker 1: Saturday means we're having dinner Saturday night.
- 45:00Speaker 8: Okay?
- 45:01Speaker 2: Okay?
- 45:02Speaker 6: R-A-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 45:02Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, I think you got a point there, Rome.
- 45:07Speaker 1: For me, a couple of beers is at least a buzz.
- 45:10Speaker 1: How many beers is that? Maybe six. But remember, he
- 45:13Speaker 1: got out of work early, so his girl probably didn't
- 45:15Speaker 1: even know that he went to drink a beer, so
- 45:18Speaker 1: he couldn't show up drunk. You know what? That's a
- 45:21Speaker 1: good point. I didn't even think about that. You're probably right. Rome,
- 45:24Speaker 1: the guy called is a bad friend. complaining about his
- 45:28Speaker 1: friend asking for his ear. At least he ain't asking
- 45:31Speaker 1: him for money.
- 45:34Speaker 7: Okay.
- 45:35Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, you're insuring me to day drink. 8 a.m.,
- 45:42Speaker 1: should I pop the pinot grigio? Yeah, you should. Ain't
- 45:48Speaker 1: nothing wrong with drinking at 8 a.m., Dang Rome for
- 45:52Speaker 1: drink minimum. We should definitely hang out. If you don't, uh,
- 45:55Speaker 1: if you don't mind hanging out with a Broncos fan,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I'm just saying, if you're going to call me, uh,
- 46:05Speaker 1: you know, early afternoon to go out, it's a four
- 46:09Speaker 1: drink minimum. I don't care what day it is. Okay.
- 46:12Speaker 1: If it's a, yeah. Cause I, yeah, it's a four
- 46:17Speaker 1: drink minimum. Um, so a buddy of mine, he calls me, uh,
- 46:22Speaker 1: You know, he just calls me and says, hey, I'm
- 46:23Speaker 1: getting out of work early. Let's go have a drink, right?
- 46:26Speaker 1: Or a beer. And it was like 4 o'clock. So
- 46:29Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, I'm good. I had two beers and rolled.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Like an hour. I'm like, why? Here's the thing. If
- 46:37Speaker 1: you're going to call me to go out any day
- 46:40Speaker 1: of the week, well, let me put it like this.
- 46:42Speaker 1: Work days, right? Sunday through Thursday, right? You're going to
- 46:47Speaker 1: call me to go out. It's a four-drink minimum. especially
- 46:50Speaker 1: at 4 o'clock, four drink minimum, two hours minimum, okay?
- 46:56Speaker 1: Because I ain't leaving the house for anything under that.
- 47:00Speaker 1: That's just a stop by. If you just want to
- 47:02Speaker 1: have a beer or two, just stop by the house.
- 47:05Speaker 1: I got beer in the fridge. We can shoot, you know,
- 47:08Speaker 1: talk for a few minutes in the garage. You can
- 47:10Speaker 1: roll out. But if I'm going out, all right, 842-5477.
- 47:13Speaker 1: I mean, how do you guys define that? Hey, Rome,
- 47:21Speaker 1: does that invite for just two beers? Only drink two beers.
- 47:26Speaker 1: They're scared of their wives. That's why. That's what I
- 47:30Speaker 1: tell my wife. I'm only going to have two beers,
- 47:33Speaker 1: and I'm out all night. Be a man. Well, I'm
- 47:37Speaker 1: not even saying stay out all night. What I'm saying
- 47:41Speaker 1: is if we're going to go out, we're not going
- 47:45Speaker 1: out for just an hour. It's 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
- 47:49Speaker 1: We can stay out until at least 8. Hey, Rome,
- 47:53Speaker 1: two-hour minimum. Anything less than that, I'm staying home. Effort
- 47:57Speaker 1: in getting up and dressed ain't worth it. Exactly. Come on,
- 48:01Speaker 1: you guys. What's going on?
- 48:02Speaker 2: Hey, what's up, Rome?
- 48:03Speaker 1: Hey, what up, man?
- 48:05Speaker 2: Hey, I think you're... I know you're right about this,
- 48:07Speaker 2: but the big thing, too, is I feel like people
- 48:10Speaker 2: like to disrupt people's peace. Like, if you're going to
- 48:12Speaker 2: get me out of my house where I'm at peace... Like,
- 48:17Speaker 2: it has to be an event. Like, I'm not going
- 48:19Speaker 2: out for no two drinks. Like, what the heck?
- 48:23Speaker 1: Especially on a weekday. I'm chilling at the house. I'm
- 48:26Speaker 1: catching up on my novellas, and all of a sudden.
- 48:28Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 48:29Speaker 6: Like, dang, I could have. I mean, two glasses of
- 48:32Speaker 6: what is this?
- 48:33Speaker 2: Like, are we going out as girlfriends and drinking two
- 48:35Speaker 2: glasses of wine? It's ridiculous. And I bet you he
- 48:39Speaker 2: was drinking some light beer, too. He wasn't even drinking
- 48:41Speaker 2: anything crazy.
- 48:42Speaker 1: I know.
- 48:44Speaker 2: Two quarters and he's calling it a day. That's not
- 48:46Speaker 2: a friend. That's a side piece.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Rome, I missed the show Monday, but between yesterday and today,
- 48:55Speaker 1: who got you mad, Rome? Your homie just wanted to
- 48:57Speaker 1: hang out. Maybe you helped him decompress or something. He
- 49:02Speaker 1: called his homie. You didn't even know you built up
- 49:05Speaker 1: his courage to go home and have a nagging wife
- 49:09Speaker 1: or something. Good looking out from you as a friend, Rome.
- 49:12Speaker 1: you're just trying to get an afternoon fade in for all.
- 49:20Speaker 1: A couple is two.
- 49:22Speaker 4: Nah, man.
- 49:23Speaker 1: If you're going to hit me up at four and say,
- 49:26Speaker 1: let's go have a beer, a couple is more than two.
- 49:28Speaker 1: Good morning, hot. What's going on?
- 49:29Speaker 5: Good morning, Romeo.
- 49:30Speaker 4: Hey, what's up?
- 49:32Speaker 5: First of all, that guy is a really bad friend, okay?
- 49:34Speaker 2: Let me just say that.
- 49:35Speaker 6: Okay.
- 49:39Speaker 5: Yeah, so when he calls me, one of my friends
- 49:41Speaker 5: called me to have a beer. We didn't even got
- 49:42Speaker 5: to have the damn beer. Like, you want to talk?
- 49:45Speaker 1: Let's talk.
- 49:45Speaker 5: You want to cry? Let's cry. But maybe that's a
- 49:47Speaker 5: girl thing. But yeah, every time me and my friends say,
- 49:51Speaker 5: let's go out for one drink or two, maybe it's
- 49:53Speaker 5: different with girls, but... We're not, like, the plan is
- 49:57Speaker 5: two beers.
- 49:58Speaker 4: That's always the plan.
- 50:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:00Speaker 5: But it ends up, like, lights on and it's 2
- 50:03Speaker 5: o'clock in the morning.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Oh, now I wouldn't go that far on a Wednesday,
- 50:06Speaker 1: but okay.
- 50:07Speaker 4: Oh, no. No, no, no. On a Wednesday, I work.
- 50:10Speaker 2: So I wouldn't even answer the text on a Wednesday.
- 50:13Speaker 8: But that's just me.
- 50:21Speaker 1: That's so funny.
- 50:23Speaker 5: Who does?
- 50:24Speaker 3: I mean.
- 50:24Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, if you're going to call me
- 50:27Speaker 1: on a weekday because you got off early at 4
- 50:32Speaker 1: o'clock and you want to go have a beer, we
- 50:33Speaker 1: at least going to have a four-drink minimum.
- 50:35Speaker 4: Minimum.
- 50:36Speaker 5: At least if you say, let's go have some food
- 50:40Speaker 5: and a beer. Then you're like, okay, I'm going to
- 50:43Speaker 5: go out for dinner, blah, blah, blah. And then you
- 50:45Speaker 5: know it's a two-hour thing and you just go home.
- 50:48Speaker 5: But if you know it's just going to be one
- 50:50Speaker 5: beer and it's to talk to your friend about your
- 50:52Speaker 5: problems or like, hey, I just want to hang out.
- 50:54Speaker 2: And talk for a little bit.
- 50:55Speaker 5: Yeah, tell me.
- 50:56Speaker 6: I'll go over there.
- 50:58Speaker 2: We'll put a chair in.
- 50:59Speaker 5: Our freaking driveway and we're going to chat for a
- 51:01Speaker 5: little bit.
- 51:02Speaker 1: If you're coming over for less than an hour and
- 51:04Speaker 1: a beer, just come by the house. We don't need
- 51:07Speaker 1: to go out.
- 51:09Speaker 5: I think that's usually just to, like, just talk. I mean,
- 51:12Speaker 5: you really just want to talk and get, you know,
- 51:14Speaker 5: get reconnected. But if you're going to go to the bar.
- 51:18Speaker 4: That's different.
- 51:19Speaker 5: Don't try to talk to me at the bar.
- 51:20Speaker 1: About your problem. Exactly. All right. Hey, thanks for calling.
- 51:26Speaker 5: Have a good day.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Bye.
- 51:28Speaker 1: If we go on, I mean, what would you, like,
- 51:30Speaker 1: what would you do right now? All of you out there.
- 51:34Speaker 1: If you got a text message or a phone call
- 51:36Speaker 1: about three saying, hey, let's hook up after work for
- 51:39Speaker 1: a beer or something or a drink, what does that
- 51:42Speaker 1: consist of? One drink and we're going home? Hell, that's
- 51:45Speaker 1: just a waste of time. Might as well just go home.
- 51:49Speaker 1: What did you send me here? Rome, a drink can
- 51:54Speaker 1: mean one or two things for me as a female.
- 51:58Speaker 1: We're going to slow sip for hours, catching up or venting.
- 52:02Speaker 1: It's been rough, and we're going to drink until we
- 52:06Speaker 1: can't anymore.
- 52:11Speaker 6: Okay. All right. Good morning, now.
- 52:13Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 52:14Speaker 6: Hey, what's up, Roland Seahawk Lou?
- 52:15Speaker 1: What up, Lou?
- 52:17Speaker 7: Hey, that's kind of wrong of your homie to do.
- 52:20Speaker 6: That, man.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Oh, I know. I know.
- 52:25Speaker 7: I think having a couple beers does mean a couple hours,
- 52:28Speaker 7: or at least, you know, the last two quarters, minimum
- 52:33Speaker 7: the last two quarters of a football game or, you know, something.
- 52:37Speaker 4: Because that sucks, man.
- 52:39Speaker 7: You get ready, you go out, you have two beers,
- 52:42Speaker 7: and it's like not enough to catch a buzz, and
- 52:45Speaker 7: it's also not enough for anything, you know?
- 52:49Speaker 1: You might as well just stay home.
- 52:52Speaker 4: You know what? And that's what I was going to say.
- 52:54Speaker 4: That's why I like to stay home. In the garage, chilling.
- 52:58Speaker 7: And you can stop at two beers and turn around.
- 53:00Speaker 4: And go inside.
- 53:01Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 53:03Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 53:04Speaker 7: That's why I'm saying if you ever want to come
- 53:06Speaker 7: through over here, we'll.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Have more than a couple beers.
- 53:10Speaker 1: You got to stop calling your paneled-up carport a garage.
- 53:15Speaker 1: It's not a garage.
- 53:17Speaker 6: It's insulated, Rome.
- 53:19Speaker 4: It's good.
- 53:21Speaker 1: Get out of here. Hey, Rome, sounds like to me
- 53:27Speaker 1: you're trying to impress everyone's luck with a DUI.
- 53:30Speaker 6: Why?
- 53:31Speaker 1: That's what Uber and Lyft is for. What are you
- 53:32Speaker 1: talking about? Just because you can stand straight don't make you.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Who's talking about driving? You're an idiot. All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Rome,
- 53:47Speaker 1: sounds like you should have asked more questions before commenting
- 53:51Speaker 1: to meet up. His idea for having a beer after
- 53:53Speaker 1: work versus yours is totally different. I don't see him
- 53:56Speaker 1: doing anything wrong. Just sound like you wanted more hang time.
- 54:01Speaker 1: He just wanted a quick chill. No, well, that's what
- 54:03Speaker 1: I'm saying, though. Stop by the house. I'm not gay.
- 54:07Speaker 1: There's no reason to get out and go out, you know,
- 54:11Speaker 1: after you're chilling at the crib. If you're going to
- 54:13Speaker 1: go out, it's got to be at least a four
- 54:15Speaker 1: drink minimum. And maybe some appetizers. You send me here.
- 54:19Speaker 1: Let's see. Hey, Rome. I got a buddy from high school.
- 54:22Speaker 1: He hit me up for a beer. I already know
- 54:25Speaker 1: we on time limit. So he just rolls through the house.
- 54:29Speaker 1: But after work, he has about one hour before he
- 54:32Speaker 1: goes home. But within that hour, we at least kill
- 54:35Speaker 1: an 18-pack.
- 54:36Speaker 6: Wow.
- 54:39Speaker 1: It's pretty impressive. I will tell you, that's impressive. Hey,
- 54:42Speaker 1: good morning, Rome.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Cheers.
- 54:46Speaker 1: I take, oh, I can't say that on the radio.
- 54:51Speaker 1: Let's see here. Yo, Rome, Headbutt Raider here. I feel you.
- 54:56Speaker 1: I hate when a friend is like, hey, you want
- 54:59Speaker 1: to go, you want to smoke a blunt? And I'm like, bro,
- 55:02Speaker 1: if we smoking, it's a four blunt minimum. Damn, Enva Raider. Hey,
- 55:12Speaker 1: when you said four drink minimum, I thought of the
- 55:15Speaker 1: movie Step Brothers when he said, did we just become
- 55:18Speaker 1: best friends?
- 55:25Speaker 6: Rome.
- 55:28Speaker 1: Were they at least Mondo beers, Rome? No, they were
- 55:31Speaker 1: little ones. They were actually bottles. He had two bottles
- 55:33Speaker 1: of beer. Yeah, no, not even Mondos. But that's what
- 55:37Speaker 1: I'm saying, man. There's no reason. If you want to
- 55:39Speaker 1: hang out, I'm down with hanging out, right? But every
- 55:42Speaker 1: situation has to have, has to, you have to understand
- 55:45Speaker 1: the situation. If you want to go out for a
- 55:48Speaker 1: couple of beers at 4 o'clock on a weekday, then, yeah,
- 55:52Speaker 1: it's a four-drink minimum. Two hours minimum. But we should
- 55:57Speaker 1: be home by 8 o'clock, right? If you want to
- 56:00Speaker 1: go out at 4 o'clock on a Friday or a Saturday, boy, yeah.
- 56:05Speaker 1: We might have a three-bar minimum or three-bar maximum. Two-bar minimum,
- 56:09Speaker 1: three-bar maximum. And we go about two, maybe 130. Hey,
- 56:13Speaker 1: let's get some Bluey tickets out. I almost forget. I
- 56:18Speaker 1: get caught up talking to you guys, and I forget
- 56:19Speaker 1: to give out tickets. Bluey is coming. I got four
- 56:22Speaker 1: tickets to Bluey. October 27th at Dignity Health. Call at
- 56:25Speaker 1: 29 right now. Good morning, y'all. What's going on?
- 56:28Speaker 2: Trying to win these tickets for Bluey, man.
- 56:29Speaker 6: What's going on, Rome?
- 56:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I got you, Bluey Ticket. Chicago number 29. Congratulations.
- 56:33Speaker 1: That's right, Rome.
- 56:36Speaker 2: Hey, these Eagles doing so bad, bro.
- 56:38Speaker 6: I needed something to cheer me up.
- 56:40Speaker 1: All right, man. What's your name?
- 56:44Speaker 4: Anthony Brown. I appreciate you, Rome.
- 56:46Speaker 1: All right, Anthony. Hold on a second, okay?
- 56:48Speaker 4: All right.
- 56:49Speaker 1: All right.
- 56:49Speaker 5: All right.
- 56:50Speaker 1: So there you go. Bluey. I got more Bluey Tickets
- 56:52Speaker 1: this week. Keep listening.
- 56:54Speaker 4: Romeo in the morning.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Every morning. On 94.1.
