- 0:00You're going to have a ton of money to spend.
- 0:01Why not put it in one of the top three offensive players in the
- 0:13league? We're going to be looking at our
- 0:14judge and saying that he can't win the big game, Michael Jordan
- 0:18said. I played 8 engine games.
- 0:20You don't see LeBron doing that. A game where you got to go
- 0:23before I told you, giant feet and Saquon Barkley, at this
- 0:28moment, he's the best quarterback in the
- 0:44NFL, really. I can go through my mind behind
- 0:57the scene of the rain and the list is talking from my eyes.
- 1:27Let's do it. You're listening to Jabba and
- 1:30the Mouth. 631-672-3108 is the number to call.
- 1:40You're listening to a very new show of Jabba and the Mouth.

- 1:52on. Yes, my name is Errol Marx, my
- 1:55Co host. He's in.
- 1:57I don't know how long he's going to be here today he's taking
- 1:59care of some family stuff. His son is moving back to
- 2:03college, Mr. Jabba Chamberlain and Speedy Petey. 631 again,

- 2:26for all our shows is go to our website at
- 2:28www.worldwidesportsradio.com. Executive Producer Mr. Aaron
- 2:35Fish Fishman, you just heard him before the show started.
- 2:37And on the board, Tommy Poops and our Mr. Nathan, our PR
- 2:42person in the background. And yeah, Jarrett, who is going
- 2:47to be joining us maybe a little bit later in the show job.
- 2:49But before we get into it, you're taking care of your son.
- 2:53Your son's moving back to school going on.
- 2:56We had a good first semester. He had his last final 1:00
- 3:00today. And it was, it was his toughest
- 3:01one, his biology one. He'd been, he'd been battling,
- 3:04ganging that one up, but still made the president's list of GPA
- 3:07stayed up. So proud of him for that.
- 3:09He's like, I'm just glad to get through this.
- 3:11And he goes, I squeaked it out. So yeah, getting that got him,
- 3:15got him back. He's running over to his mom's.
- 3:18Then of course, you know, Stops gets all of his stuff ready
- 3:23here. I got laundry money and a
- 3:25charger. And so, yeah, and then we're
- 3:27going to go grab some food and throw some laundry in.
- 3:30But I thought I'd stop and see the boys before kind of sit down
- 3:33and just get him settled. And then he's home for freaking
- 3:36seven weeks. So it's quick.
- 3:38Yeah, the brakes are a lot longer than they used to be.
- 3:40I don't Remember Remember when I was in college having a break
- 3:43that long and so. Yeah, even.
- 3:45When? I was in school, it was only
- 3:47like a month. Yeah, I mean, it's crazy.
- 3:49And and he's actually even going back early because their season
- 3:52starts, which and it's crazy too.
- 3:54He called me yesterday and he goes, dad, you want to be our
- 3:57interim coach? And I'm like, what what's going
- 4:00on? I guess they're they're pitching
- 4:02coach literally took a job in the same conference.
- 4:05And it's so funny. We have just literally talked
- 4:08about this and the Jayhawk League for junior college is is
- 4:11a great baseball conference. He's taking a head coaching job
- 4:15at Butler, which is in the same conference and literally is
- 4:18leaving. Like so he told him at their
- 4:20Christmas party and then he's leaving.
- 4:23So he's not even going to be there for spring.
- 4:24So he Carter's like, I don't know what's going on right now.
- 4:27And I was like, oh, let me apply, Let's see what happens.
- 4:30Let's see. But I'm like it.
- 4:32It was interesting so. Yeah, it's just been.
- 4:34Are you applying? I mean, I might as well.
- 4:37All they can tell me is like one thing my dad always said.
- 4:39It's like all they can tell you is no, right?
- 4:42So but we'll see. I mean, obviously, you know,
- 4:45he's down there. So those would be those would be
- 4:47interesting mountain visits with if I have to go talk to Carter,
- 4:51what's your son in between a rough inning or something.
- 4:53But so no, it's just nice to have him home.
- 4:55And it's just, it's, it's always, you know, it's he's 4
- 4:58hours away. So it's, it's, you know, when he
- 5:00when he makes those trips back, it's a little, little nervy for
- 5:03me, but he's made him plenty of times.
- 5:05But yeah, I got all of his clothes and stuff back.
- 5:07So, you know, it's going to be nice to have him home and, you
- 5:11know, just hanging out and and get a workout with him too,
- 5:13which is going to be really fun. We started throwing program and
- 5:16everything on Wednesday. I'm going to try and hop on.
- 5:18Yeah. Well, you're a big part of the
- 5:19show, so I was surprised that you popped on.
- 5:22At least I thought you were driving back from Hampton, so
- 5:25maybe you would just pop right on when you're driving because
- 5:28we've seen people do that before.
- 5:29Niffin loves to do that during the show.
- 5:32Java would have had to had to change his name to I Hate
- 5:34technology again a. 100%. So.
- 5:38All right boys, y'all have a good one.
- 5:40I'm going to run and we'll we'll see you soon.
- 5:43I'll TuneIn. There it is, Jabba Chamberlain
- 5:45ladies and. Gentlemen, I love you.
- 5:47Guys, we love him too. It's crazy because Jabba, he
- 5:51told me on Sunday morning that he would not probably make the
- 5:54show. He might sneak in here and
- 5:56there. So I was very surprised that he
- 5:58popped in as early as he did, but appreciate him and he now
- 6:01he's applying for a pitching coaching job.
- 6:03I, I over there in Hampton, a very interesting I, I, I don't
- 6:07see why he doesn't get the job. He's job at Chamberlain, but
- 6:10unless the coaching staff doesn't want it to mix father
- 6:14and son. I that sometimes happens and
- 6:16sometimes people and, and obviously coaching Staffs don't
- 6:20allow that. But hey, I I wish him nothing
- 6:22but the best and he gets to go down there and hang out with his
- 6:24son a couple of couple of weeks a year.
- 6:28Actually, what is it? Baseball season over there has
- 6:30got to be a couple of months, but whatever.
- 6:32All right. Ladies and gentlemen, we have a
- 6:35segment and we call this What's Beef?
- 6:40Do. You know what beef is?
- 6:46Do you know? What beef is which one are you
- 6:51afraid? I fight you both together if you
- 6:53want, I fight. You want 1 poor time behind the
- 6:55back. I fight you stand on one foot.
- 6:56I fight you with my eyes. Closed What are you scared?
- 7:00Watch your mouth. I see you.
- 7:03Guaranteed to be. I see you one more time.
- 7:06Was beef, beef, beef. Oh, right.
- 7:09Ladies and gentlemen, there's been a lot of beef going on in
- 7:13the media world. Max Kellerman.
- 7:16Yes, Max Kellerman is making his rounds and he made his rounds
- 7:20last week talking about the the back and forth banter on why it
- 7:27didn't work with Stephen A Smith.
- 7:28And first take five years with Stephen A Smith came to an end
- 7:32and Max Kellerman said this. So Stephen A, you're in a
- 7:37relationship with where you're doing a show together for how
- 7:40many years 4. 5. Five years.
- 7:43I didn't love how he handled the aftermath.
- 7:46You leaving where is basically like I told you the show would
- 7:48be better. I just thought because I think
- 7:49you're really talented now. You and I have known each other
- 7:52for a while. Whether it meshed as a show
- 7:54perfectly, I don't know the answer to that, but I just
- 7:57didn't think that was the right way to handle it.
- 7:58If you're doing a debate show and you're a competitive person,
- 8:02yeah, why would you want me as a partner?
- 8:03That's bad. You want to go 15 rounds every
- 8:06day with Ted Kellerman? That's just bad.
- 8:08You know, it's, it's embarrassing.
- 8:10You know, I have an idea. This is what I want to put on
- 8:12TVI want to spar Bud Crawford every day.
- 8:15For. 15 rounds and I want everyone to see it.
- 8:20Eventually you're going to say I don't want to do that anymore.
- 8:21That's what I could tell you from my point of view, yeah.
- 8:25And I also think that if you make a calculation that if you
- 8:29can be perceived as a solo act, really, that you can get paid at
- 8:33a certain level that you can't if you're not a solo act, then
- 8:37you'd like to be a solo act, or at least perceived that way.
- 8:40I have a lot of respect for Max Kellerman.
- 8:42I look up to Max Kellerman. I'm a boxing fan.
- 8:44I follow him. I've been following him since
- 8:46HBO. The guy's boxing knowledge is
- 8:49impeccable. I don't think there's anybody in
- 8:51the game that knows boxing more than Max Kellerman.
- 8:55I love everything about him, his personality, what he brings to
- 8:58the to the the station, everything that he did for ESPN
- 9:02at first take. I love the fact that they
- 9:05matched him up with Stephen A Smith, a younger Stephen A
- 9:08Smith. If you really look at it, one,
- 9:11Max Kellerman is one of the more intelligent people in the
- 9:13industry. The guy has a unique structure
- 9:17of personality and the way he brings out the product and and
- 9:20his product to the world. And a lot of different guys have
- 9:24said a lot of different things about Max Kellerman.
- 9:26Maybe sometimes he speaks too much or maybe he uses too many
- 9:30big words. What I love about Max Kellerman
- 9:32is he's honest. He tells you straightforward, He
- 9:35doesn't beat around the Bush. He gives you his take and he
- 9:39lets you know, know that that's his that's his way to attack it.
- 9:43And what he said about Stephen A Smith isn't a lie.
- 9:46Now Muhammad Kellerman, he's trying to compare himself to, I
- 9:51don't know, Muhammad Ali. I think that's ridiculous.
- 9:53I don't, I again, I'm not, I didn't grow up a Muhammad Ali
- 9:57fan. I didn't, I didn't watch
- 9:59Muhammad Ali fight. I was a Mike Tyson fan.
- 10:01I grew up in the heavyweight division.
- 10:02That was the guy I watched. And I was a Sugar Ray Leonard
- 10:05fan. Max Kellerman is my age.
- 10:07Max Kellerman and me are practically the same age.
- 10:10For him to bring up Muhammad Ali and compare himself to Muhammad
- 10:13Ali when he never really got a chance to really see him fight
- 10:16him fight live is ridiculous. If he said James Buster Douglas
- 10:21versus Mike Tyson that would have been more interesting when
- 10:25it came to his factor and the way he tried to compare him
- 10:28himself to Stephen A Smith. I do agree with Max Kellerman.
- 10:33Stephen A Smith was going to make more money if he was a solo
- 10:36act. And I do believe Stephen A Smith
- 10:39had his thoughts on keeping Max Kellerman in position to be
- 10:43comparable to himself. I think Stephen A Smith wants
- 10:46the cameras on him and Max Kellerman was taking the cameras
- 10:49off of him. And, and really their
- 10:51personalities are are very alike in very different, you know, in
- 10:55the same ways I Steven, and you're going to hear what Steven
- 10:58had to say about and he was making jokes about and cracking
- 11:01jokes about it. But I think Max Kellerman is
- 11:04straightforward, honest, and I don't think he fears what
- 11:09Stephen A Smith was going to say.
- 11:10He to me, planned to do this. He's he's waited all this time
- 11:16to speak about First Take and he waited for this particular time
- 11:20to drop this beef, this hammer on Stephen A Smith for everybody
- 11:26to check out. And Stephen A Smith had this to
- 11:29say. Did I hear correctly?
- 11:30Did we show what he called himself Muhammad Kellerman as in
- 11:34Muhammad Ali Kellerman? Muhammad Ali Kellerman?
- 11:42Oh my God. Oh I ain't going to lie to
- 11:47y'all. I have my researchers check and
- 11:49make sure that wasn't AI, that that wasn't that somebody just
- 11:52made-up, you know, I had to be. I had to double check that.
- 11:55I really, really did. I couldn't believe it.
- 11:59OK, If we were talking about boxing, you're absolutely right,
- 12:02because I don't know anybody that knows more boxing than
- 12:06that. He's extraordinary, no doubt
- 12:08about that. We're talking about first tape,
- 12:11though, and he took it someplace that all I want to say is, are
- 12:16you, are you really sure you want to go there?
- 12:19See, there's a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes.
- 12:22Are you sure you'll want to go there?
- 12:25Because I'm not unless you take me there.
- 12:28All right. Now he brought up boxing like I
- 12:30brought up boxing and if somebody came at me and said,
- 12:34well, Errol, you know about this and you know about that.
- 12:36You're, you're knowledgeable in all sports.
- 12:39So I, I can't really attack you on any of these, your comments
- 12:42about basketball or baseball or football or hockey, because, you
- 12:45know, I, I qualify for my conversations when it comes to
- 12:49sports for him to bring up Max Kellerman and when it comes to
- 12:53boxing. What do you know, Steven?
- 12:56Like, seriously, you're a basketball guy.
- 12:58You are a basketball writer. What do you know?
- 13:00You know football because you talk about, I don't know, the
- 13:03Dallas Cowboys and you're a Giant fan.
- 13:05What do you know about the Knicks?
- 13:07You talk about MMA like you know something about mixed martial
- 13:10arts. The only reason why you were
- 13:11going to and you were doing those things for ESPN is because
- 13:14you have a big contract with ESPN.
- 13:16What do you know? What do you know about football?
- 13:19If I asked you right now who is the starting off, What is the
- 13:23starting offensive line when healthy of the, I don't know, LA
- 13:28charges, could you give me at least four out of the five?
- 13:30The answer would probably be no, unless somebody's telling
- 13:33Stephen A Smith in his ear. I think Max Kellerman would
- 13:37know. Max Kellerman has a photographic
- 13:39memory. This guy is a genius.
- 13:42He remembers rounds of fights. He remembers how many punches
- 13:46were thrown in those rounds in those fights.
- 13:48I think what Max Kellerman said about Stephen A Smith is not too
- 13:53much, too much off the truth. Stephen A Smith didn't want Matt
- 13:57Kellerman there for one reason, because Max Kellerman was taking
- 14:02the cameras off of him. That's what it was.
- 14:05And it was and, and for some reason, Stephen A Smith wanted
- 14:08to make sure that he was center stage, that he was getting the
- 14:11money, that he was going to make the the the majority of the
- 14:15money. And if Max Kellerman in that
- 14:17contract was waived after five years, he would take, he would
- 14:20get the boatload of the money, the back end of the money and
- 14:23Stephen A Smith would have control.
- 14:25Then I, I don't know if anybody heard it.
- 14:28He brought up Skip Ellis and he said, well, the reason why we
- 14:30had the number one show in America was because Skip Ellis,
- 14:33all he was doing was filling in for Skip Ellis and that's why we
- 14:37were the number one show and he wasn't Skip Ellis.
- 14:39No, Max Kellerman wasn't Skip Ellis.
- 14:43But guess what, Stephen A, you're not Skip Ellis either.
- 14:47And for you to come out and bring up Skip Ellis, Skip Ellis
- 14:49left, went to Fox now hit. Was his show as complimentary as
- 14:54your show was over there? First take?
- 14:56No, but Max Kellerman did what he was supposed to do.
- 15:00He was supposed to go there and fill for one of the one of the
- 15:03greatest media personalities we've ever seen on first take
- 15:07cold pizza. And really he was the guy that
- 15:10structured this back and forth banter for ESPN.
- 15:14Matt it wasn't. I'm sorry.
- 15:15It was, it was, I'm sorry, Skip Ellis.
- 15:20That was really that transition that changed the industry for
- 15:23what it was. He brought in Stephen A Smith.
- 15:26And by the way, Stephen A Smith wouldn't be Stephen A Smith
- 15:28without Skip Ellis. So Stephen A Smith helped Max
- 15:32Kellerman. Skip Bayless helped Stephen A
- 15:36Smith. What is the difference and to
- 15:38compare and try to try to go back and forth on who knows
- 15:41more. I, I, if you would ask me right
- 15:44now who knows more about sports, Max Kellerman or Stephen A
- 15:47Smith. My money is on Max friggin
- 15:51Kellerman book that if I was sitting right here and I was
- 15:55judging back and forth banter when it comes to professional
- 15:58sports, college sports, any sport, I'm taking Max Kellerman
- 16:03over Stephen A Smith. And what's so and another thing
- 16:05that Max Kellerman said that I loved is he didn't want to he
- 16:09didn't want to have the same answers.
- 16:10So he always looked at a certain topic offset from what Stephen A
- 16:14Smith would say. Stephen A Smith was always the
- 16:17guy that was trying to attack and he was always trying to look
- 16:21at it in a different way at a different way of a fan.
- 16:23So a fan could, if a fan had a different objective or an
- 16:26argument to that particular subject that he would give them
- 16:30that view. And that's why he went off set
- 16:33on some of the things that he believed, even though he didn't
- 16:35believe it to be. He says media has become
- 16:38entertainment and entertainment has taken to has been and has
- 16:42chosen to take it to the next level.
- 16:44And he says that's what First Take was.
- 16:46And he says, yeah, I believe that the way First Take treated
- 16:51him and and treated well, I'm speaking for him, treated me.
- 16:56I felt like I was tossed to the side and pushed out because
- 16:59Stephen A Smith didn't want me there.
- 17:01So it's been beef, it's been banter.
- 17:05It's been a lot right now. And I I think it's to me,
- 17:09Stephen A Smith came out and said that if Max wants me to to
- 17:11come on a show at any time, I would do that.
- 17:13He's a good dude. He's a he's a kind, you know,
- 17:16personality and and I love the dude.
- 17:18He said, but to come out me, come at me like that on that
- 17:23show and and do it the way he did it was, you know, in his own
- 17:26words, wrong and and he laughed at it.
- 17:29He giggled at it. But this was good media work for
- 17:31for both of them. It helped Max Kellerman and it
- 17:34helped Stephen A Smith. I think that was it was
- 17:37perfectly planned. I don't even know.
- 17:39I would probably put some money on it that Max Kellerman reached
- 17:42out to Stephen A Smith before he did it.
- 17:44I, I really do believe that both these guys, I had some kind of
- 17:50connection behind this media work because it was picked at a
- 17:53perfect time, perfect time. It was like a Wednesday or
- 17:56Thursday in the middle of a week when nothing was going on, when
- 17:59a story needed to break. And that was the story that
- 18:02broke. So very interesting story.
- 18:05I got to give them both a little bit of credit.
- 18:07I think they've both changed the industry, made the industry more
- 18:10interesting to watch. I just I questioned the way
- 18:13First Take treated Max Kellerman at the end so.
- 18:16First of all, check out Errol's story about Stephen A Smith as
- 18:18well on the Worldwide Sports Radio Network website as well.
- 18:21And I just want to mention, I think besides, I think him
- 18:24saying Kellerman was saying like we had a story on a few years
- 18:26ago for the Yankees to trade Aaron Judge or something like
- 18:28that. I think besides that, I can't
- 18:30remember anything like that egregiously said compared to
- 18:32like all these other hot heads. We bash Nick, right all the
- 18:35time. And I had to block Skip Bayless
- 18:37on Twitter because of what he said about DeMar Hamlin.
- 18:39It was egregious. And Stephen A Smith said some
- 18:42dumb takes of his own and like, everyone's got him, but it seems
- 18:45like Kellerman and like there's a reason, I guess, for that
- 18:46genius. He is a genius, and even Stephen
- 18:49A Smith said. I think he's even smarter for
- 18:51himself. He's even smarter.
- 18:53He, he, he, he looks past so many different things.
- 18:56He's so intelligent. He, he in every single fight or
- 19:00every single statistic that he looks at to try to compare a
- 19:03game or a certain statistic for an athlete, he looks more deeper
- 19:08into the stat that other people probably wouldn't look at, you
- 19:13know, as a professional. So I, I just think that Max
- 19:16Kellerman's just an intelligent man.
- 19:18And I think Stephen A Smith was, you know, didn't like him
- 19:23because he was taking the cameras off of them, taking,
- 19:27taking the spotlight away from him.
- 19:29And now it gets to work with that dope Cam Newton, who has
- 19:32that worst quarterback opinions than anyone.
- 19:34Cam Newton's a whole nother level of stupidity, so.
- 19:38But hey, listen, it's a great story.
- 19:40I want, I know Fish reached out to me and said this is, this is
- 19:43a great beef story. I thought it was.
- 19:46I, I questioned the way it was picked and what time it was
- 19:49picked on how. And I think it was cleverly
- 19:52picked out for Max Kellerman to do it at the perfect right time
- 19:57to, to put this out there for media to talk about it.
- 20:01I think it, it was cleverly picked.
- 20:03It was, that's not the word. It was.
- 20:05It was very clever. For Max Kellerman to choose the
- 20:09time to put this out here, it took him over a year to put this
- 20:12out. Just think about it.
- 20:14And then he picks this on the Bill Simmons show to put this
- 20:17out here out there like that. And by the way, Bill Simmons and
- 20:20Stephen A Smith are very close. And that and it pissed Stephen A
- 20:24Smith off that he did it on the Bill Simmons Show and some of
- 20:28the takes that Bill Simmons had after the fact pissed off
- 20:32Stephen A Smith on the way. Bill Simmons brought it to it,
- 20:35you know, brought it to the fans attention.
- 20:38Said Errol. He said thanks for the free PR,
- 20:41Steven. That's that's basically how he
- 20:44put it on his show. He's not wrong.
- 20:48He's certainly not wrong about. That I thought it was very
- 20:50interesting. It was very, it was cleverly put
- 20:52out there by Max Kellerman. I think it was very clever.
- 20:56I think that Max Kellerman is one of the more intelligent.
- 21:00I would love to meet Max Kellerman.
- 21:02I never met Max Kellerman. I think he's a very clever guy.
- 21:05I think he knows what he's doing and I think this was perfect for
- 21:09him. This was better for him than it
- 21:11was for Stephen A Smith. I think Stephen A Smith knew
- 21:14that this was something that could drive and he just drove it
- 21:17even further. I think it was a great move by
- 21:19both guys. This is why they're they're very
- 21:22rich in their business and, and why they've gone as far as
- 21:25they've gone so far in the industry in such a fast way.
- 21:29So that's just my opinion. All right, Speedy stat of the
- 21:32week. The speedy well you may run like
- 21:37me, but you hit like out of the week.
- 21:42Another article to check out of Arrows that he just wrote as
- 21:44well is on the Kansas City Chiefs on their downfall and you
- 21:48can go check that out on the Worldwide sports.
- 21:50Radio. I put it together today.
- 21:52It took me about an hour and a half to put it together.
- 21:54It's very funny. Yes, check it out
- 21:55worldwidesportsradio.com and the Chiefs are where my stat ends up
- 22:00going. I was talking about a couple
- 22:01weeks ago when they played the Bills and how high their
- 22:03pressure rate was and now I'm going to jump into Sunday Night
- 22:06Football against the Texans. Patrick Mahomes ends with a -.54
- 22:11EPA per drop back, which is the worst in his career. 42.4
- 22:16completion percentage is the worst in his career and 19.8
- 22:20passer rating. That is a very Zach Wilson ask.
- 22:23The Texans pressured Patrick Mahomes 18 times, high for the
- 22:26most this season, and held Mahomes to just. 2.
- 22:30Completions on 12 attempts for 40 yards when he was pressured.
- 22:34I always say you can't blitz. Patrick Mahomes.
- 22:36He knows how to counter it. And Texans know what to do
- 22:38without blitzing. And what did they make it?
- 22:40Work. This might be the best defense
- 22:42I've seen since the Baltimore Ravens in 2000.
- 22:45That's how good this defense is. They are fun, fast and they're
- 22:50relentless. They are relentless and he was
- 22:55running for dear life. Their their secondary is they
- 22:59have two of the best safeties in the league.
- 23:01Stingley is one of the best corners in the league.
- 23:03I mean, they're so fast off the ball and let's.
- 23:05Start the whip around, then right there with those Kansas
- 23:10City Chiefs vote. Whip, whip, whip around.
- 23:17All right, let's get it going here.
- 23:19Since you wanted to go into, we might as well just get it going
- 23:22with that game right off the bat.
- 23:25In fact, I have it as two teams that basically lost their chance
- 23:29of making the playoffs this week.
- 23:32The Chiefs 20 to 10 fall to that Texans team.
- 23:36The Texans are now 8 and 5A game behind Jacksonville for the
- 23:41lead, tied with the Colts. Colts lost.
- 23:44Daniel Jones will bring it up in a little bit.
- 23:47Obviously the Chiefs defense just was very good, but Andy
- 23:53Reid made a very curious 4th down decision when the game was
- 23:58tied to go for it and instead they fail and they give up the
- 24:04points. They don't come back from it.
- 24:07The offense is not the same. The tackle situation still a
- 24:11problem. Simmons from Ohio State is out.
- 24:14He's on the IR. He was the guy that was supposed
- 24:16to fix it. The reason why?
- 24:18He hasn't looked good in the last couple of weeks.
- 24:20Anyway, he's, he's hurt, you know, and they they're not,
- 24:25they're not a playoff team, Meryl.
- 24:26It certainly doesn't look like in the Cowboys.
- 24:28If we thought we thought that they were better with all the
- 24:31additions, the Lions smoked them.
- 24:33That game wasn't close for a second.
- 24:35I, I think the Texans, like I was saying, I think the Texans
- 24:38are as good as I've seen it since the 2000 Ravens.
- 24:42They're fast off the ball. They've got 2 amazing pass
- 24:45rushers they can get. They can get up the middle in
- 24:48the gaps. I've I've seen it, they, they're
- 24:50secondary so fast. They have 4 competent
- 24:54linebackers. They can get at you in many
- 24:55different ways. They can stop the tight ends.
- 24:58They could do everything. This is by far the best defense
- 25:01in football. Everybody was talking about the
- 25:02Broncos this year. This is the fastest, this is the
- 25:05youngest. And I'm going to tell you this
- 25:07right now, the Texans are as dangerous as any team right now.
- 25:11And and not because of their offense, because their offense
- 25:13is up and down. It's because of this defense,
- 25:15because they can take the ball away at any time of the game.
- 25:18They hit hard, they're mean and they're fast off the ball.
- 25:22I, I've not, I haven't seen a defense this good since those
- 25:25Ravens teams, even better than the Legion of Boom.
- 25:28Yes, when everybody talks about those Legion of Boom, those
- 25:31Seattle Seahawks teams, this defense is better than that
- 25:34defense. That's how fun and and the
- 25:36Chiefs had done I, I, you could see it in Patrick Mahomes, his
- 25:39face. It's over.
- 25:41Go check out my story. It's a great story.
- 25:42It's very, very funny. Kelsey looks like his knee is
- 25:47not the same. I don't I I don't know if Kelsey
- 25:49comes back next year. Why would he his his wife or his
- 25:52fiance is on tour. He's enjoying themselves.
- 25:55She's got a new documentary out, which he's in now.
- 25:57Why does he need to play football anymore?
- 25:59He's him and his wife are going to be making billions.
- 26:02And as far as the Cowboys concerned, we were over there
- 26:04with the beef at in we were. Across a deal park.
- 26:10We were in Deer Park and we were having fun with, you know, Jamie
- 26:14Lee and the beef and he was, it didn't matter when the the
- 26:17Cowboys had a chance to win the game.
- 26:19He was like no confidence whatsoever.
- 26:22Dak did what he can. I think Dak had a sensational
- 26:25game. It wasn't Dak's fault on why
- 26:27they lost. It was the defense.
- 26:29The defense could not stop a lick and you saw it.
- 26:32And I'm going to tell you this right now, the Lions, they're
- 26:36good when they want to be and they're bad when they want to be
- 26:39as well. I, I, I don't know what Lion
- 26:40team you're going to get. So I, this isn't the same Lions
- 26:44with what Johnson there and Aaron Glenn.
- 26:47But this is still a competent Lions team.
- 26:49And, and if they could get into the playoffs, they're going to
- 26:52'cause they could cause a lot of problems with Green Bay and all
- 26:55the other teams that are going to get into the playoffs as
- 26:57well. I mean, it's so wide open this
- 26:59year. This might be the the most wide
- 27:01open season and cut in football and NFL football we've ever
- 27:05seen. Yeah, the Lions in offense at
- 27:07its peak is very interesting because it's hyper efficient.
- 27:10I know on the weekend crunch, when Chaz comes on and does
- 27:12money like Mani, he actually presented A stat to like most
- 27:15points per how many yards you score on a play.
- 27:17And the Lions are leading the league in a while for it because
- 27:19obviously they're scoring touchdowns and fast drives
- 27:22pretty much. And then it started to
- 27:23disappear. They fizzled out against the
- 27:24Eagles and a couple other bad games, a bad game against the
- 27:27Packers on Thanksgiving, and now they found their offensive
- 27:29groove again. Dallas, yeah, they're battling
- 27:31tough, but again, they just don't have the talent to live
- 27:33out. And on the defensive side of the
- 27:34ball, they're still young. Houston, you're right, is very
- 27:37interesting because them and the Broncos, both of these elite
- 27:39defenses with a lot of questions on offense that the Texans
- 27:41offense I think is worse with their offensive line and run
- 27:43game compared to the Broncos. But they're both pretty average.
- 27:46So it'll be an interesting battle.
- 27:47But I think the Texans have two, two game changing offensive
- 27:51players. I don't.
- 27:53I don't think the Broncos do. No, no, the Broncos probably
- 27:56don't have one individual game changing offensive player.
- 27:58I would say the best unit is their offensive line and it's
- 28:01just been top five in the league all year.
- 28:02Houston, their offensive line and fish you were talking about
- 28:04was really bad at the beginning of the year.
- 28:05Now it's kind of gotten a little better with some of the young
- 28:07players that they have. But this defense definitely
- 28:09championship caliber. Our all we discussed in the in
- 28:11the before the show probably like the Bills, the Broncos, the
- 28:15Texans on the top three in what order it it the Texans are maybe
- 28:18creeping closer to two than we think and the Chiefs yeah, even
- 28:21if they do win out like the Jaguars are winning now and.
- 28:23I'm telling you right now, this is the best defense I've seen
- 28:26since the 2000 Ravens. That's how good it is.
- 28:29Yeah, the Chiefs, even if they win out, I think the Jaguars now
- 28:31having the head to head tiebreaker, they're not going to
- 28:33lose out. Like there's so many scenarios
- 28:34that have to go right for them now.
- 28:35I didn't think it would happen this way, but.
- 28:37Yeah, D'amico Ryan's don't ever look scared, no matter what the
- 28:40game transitions into, because he knows this defense is it's
- 28:43going to stop everybody. He knows it.
- 28:45He sees it. Ryan's, it wasn't for Vrabel and
- 28:49maybe Ben Johnson. He'd be getting a lot more
- 28:52attention for coach of the year because what he's doing over
- 28:55there after how they started, they how he basically coached up
- 28:59a team. It's just great coaching.
- 29:02And that's what I see Like when teams get better throughout the
- 29:04year and they haven't added talent, that's because the
- 29:07talent has been coached up to become better players, at least
- 29:10better players in the coaches system so that they're playing
- 29:13well together so that they can execute as a unit.
- 29:17And some teams you can get a bunch of talent and they don't
- 29:19execute. Look at this team that even that
- 29:22offensive line has a bunch of guys.
- 29:24You don't even you never heard of their names.
- 29:26They're killing it. That team is really good because
- 29:29they're really well coached. Bryan's might be a top five
- 29:32coach in this league and we didn't even realize until like.
- 29:35A week ago. Let's get into the game that I
- 29:37thought was the top game that we can.
- 29:39Speaking of Ben Johnson, he didn't win this one, but it was
- 29:42a really good game throughout if you got a chance to watch it.
- 29:45The Packers beat the Bears on Sunday 28 to 21 in this one.
- 29:52Jordan Love, 17 to 25234, three touchdowns and a pick.
- 29:59He did not have any other fumbles.
- 30:01Christian Watson, 4 catches, 89 yards, 2 touchdowns.
- 30:04He continues to look like a #1 receiver since returning from
- 30:08the injury. Jaden Reed made his return as
- 30:11well in this game. Got a little, got his feet wet.
- 30:13Josh Jacobs another solid game averaging over 4.2 yards of
- 30:17carry like he does his entire career.
- 30:20Kayla Williams was good on good for the Bears. 2 touchdowns, 186
- 30:24yards, 19 and 35. Running game was OK, just wasn't
- 30:28enough to beat this Green Bay gauntlet.
- 30:31And look, Jordan Love makes some throws that you're just like,
- 30:36nobody's really supposed to go to throw the ball and complete
- 30:38it when they're standing flat footed looking one way and
- 30:41throwing it to their right and they just looking the other way.
- 30:44He makes some really silly throws and you're just like,
- 30:46what is he doing? And then you realize this guy so
- 30:48good at football, he makes up ways to throw the ball.
- 30:52Jordan Loves really good. I will say this, Caleb Williams
- 30:55looks really good too. His escape ability all game
- 30:59long, making plays on the run. I, like I said, reminds me a lot
- 31:04like Aaron Rodgers. This kid is going to have many,
- 31:07many years of really developing and growing into that position.
- 31:11And when he does with Ben Johnson, I think this guy is
- 31:13going to be a lead. I think in two years he's going
- 31:15to be the best quarterback in the league.
- 31:16That's the type of player that he is.
- 31:18Jordan Love is sensational. They've got weapons.
- 31:20I think the main thought is Jaden Reed's return.
- 31:24I I think he's going to change the offense.
- 31:25Everybody keeps talking about Christian Watson, but they've
- 31:28been craving Jaden Reed. And now that Jaden Reed is back,
- 31:31he's one of the better, more underrated slot wide receivers
- 31:34in the league. He's going to open up the field
- 31:36for guys like Jacobs, four guys like Watson.
- 31:39This offense is going to be completely different now that
- 31:42Jaden Reed is back. The defense has been back and
- 31:45forth. I don't know if Green Green
- 31:47Bay's defense was at its top level.
- 31:49As a matter of fact, they looked very tired in the fourth
- 31:52quarter. I thought the the Bears really
- 31:54got them tired the running game. I I think the Bears are as
- 31:57dangerous as any team going into the playoffs this year.
- 32:00They can run the ball, they can throw the ball.
- 32:02I I still think they're trying to figure out who they're at,
- 32:05what their identity is. I, these guys that first of all,
- 32:08these guys are meeting each other in two weeks again, and
- 32:11then they're probably going to meet in the playoffs again.
- 32:13So they might meet three times this year.
- 32:16So we're going to see a lot of great football.
- 32:19Caleb Williams, Jordan Love, and this is going to be here for a
- 32:22very, very long time. I, I, it's just, it's great
- 32:25football. I, I, there's nothing more to
- 32:26say about it. Just two great teams.
- 32:28Yeah, the Bears were kind of shorthanded as it was obviously
- 32:31like you're saying, fish. No do and say DJ Moore has been
- 32:33bad much of the year and he was limited in that game even
- 32:35against if he Packer secondary. But their offensive line still
- 32:39trying to deal with a lot of the injuries they had had a tough
- 32:41time with the edge rushing in that game.
- 32:43It's interesting because you were talking about Jordan
- 32:45Lovefish and I think the Bears secondary now getting their guys
- 32:47back with John, with Jaylen Johnson and Kyler Gordon did
- 32:49hold their own for it. They made those catches very
- 32:52tough. But Jordan loved the way he was
- 32:53able to extend plays. It looked like what you saw in
- 32:55his rookie year at the end of the season when he played like
- 32:58probably the third best quarterback in the NFL and
- 33:00Jacobs just did well enough against a run defense.
- 33:02It's still been kind of iffy this year with the Bears.
- 33:04Right, let's move on to the next big game and this one, I just
- 33:09couldn't take my eyes off of it. It did not disappoint.
- 33:12The Bills outlasted the Bengals 39 to 34.
- 33:16Again, in a different world, Joe Burrows not hurt and this game
- 33:20actually matters in the AFC standings.
- 33:22It doesn't cuz the Bengals are such a dumpster fire.
- 33:25So good they decided to fight with Trey Hendrickson just for
- 33:28him to play basically half a season for $30 million for them.
- 33:32And I think their other kid didn't do anything the first
- 33:35round pick. It's it's embarrassing that they
- 33:39have no defense, especially when their offense is so electric.
- 33:43Some of the stats in this game are just just eye popping.
- 33:46Burrow hasn't looked like he missed a beat. 25362844TDS was
- 33:52picked off twice on back-to-back plays.
- 33:55The first one was a pick 6 by a defensive end and the next one
- 34:00was deflected by the other defensive end and picked off by
- 34:03a linebacker. That was the difference in the
- 34:04game. The Bengals had the lead most of
- 34:07the way in this game. Josh Allen though, just will not
- 34:10be denied. 222, sorry. 22 of 28 for 251.
- 34:15Three touchdowns. He had a 43 yard touchdown run
- 34:19to win at 9 carries, 78 yards in that score.
- 34:23James Cook almost blew it with a fumble and going into the end
- 34:27zone. That was a big early turnover.
- 34:29T Higgins happy to have Mr. Burrow back.
- 34:33Six catches, 92 yards, 2 touchdowns.
- 34:36Dalton Kincaid comes back to the Bills.
- 34:38Makes a difference offensively. He scores as well.
- 34:42This was Josh Allen's game. This was the game that really
- 34:46gives you the reasons why Josh Allen can make a run for a Super
- 34:50Bowl this year. For the all the ups and downs
- 34:52for Buffalo all season long and the turmoil with the injury
- 34:56threes and and all of that, this team still has a chance.
- 35:00I mean, Lamar Jackson might not be going to the playoffs.
- 35:02Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, these are three of the top five
- 35:06player quarterbacks in all of the NFL and all three of these
- 35:09guys aren't going to make it into the playoffs and they're
- 35:13all in the AFC. This bodes well for Josh Allen,
- 35:16who could be the best quarterback going into this
- 35:19year's playoff in the AFCII. Just think that's what really
- 35:23was the transition. It was what Josh Allen did in
- 35:26the fourth quarter. He needed to make the plays.
- 35:27He made it. The defense made some plays in
- 35:30the open field. Joe Burrow made some mistakes.
- 35:33It was snowing, it was cold. The ball was bouncy because it
- 35:37was cold outside and and and again it all fell in into the
- 35:42Buffalo Bills hands and and the fans hands.
- 35:45I think the fans had a lot to do.
- 35:47The loud fans, the you know, the credible fans that they always
- 35:51are. And, and again, it's Josh Allens
- 35:53house and you heard it after the game with Josh Allen said about
- 35:56the fans. If if it's not our fans are the
- 35:59best in the world, It's the it's the best playing in front of all
- 36:02these fans really gives me a reason to want to play and want
- 36:05to win for the the fan base. So it says a lot about the the
- 36:09player that he is. Yeah, a couple of key, key
- 36:11takeaways too. I think you look at like them
- 36:12getting the tight ends of all the way they did.
- 36:14Kincaid has been up and down with injuries so far this year.
- 36:16Dawson Knox really hasn't been great since he signed that
- 36:19contract. He's been a good blocker, but
- 36:21not the same receiver. They got both of them going if
- 36:23the Bills. That was Knox's best game.
- 36:25Yeah. And if the Bills are going to
- 36:26take that to get to that Super Bowl, which has always been just
- 36:29holding back just a little bit, they have to try to get that
- 36:32more involved because the receiving depth has been kind of
- 36:33up and down throughout the year. And then then the Coleman thing,
- 36:36they needed to find somebody that was going to fill in for
- 36:39the reps for Coleman because I think Coleman's done.
- 36:41I don't think you're going to see a lot of Coleman for the
- 36:43rest of the year. So now you're seeing Knox and
- 36:46something that we weren't seeing all season long and a lot of
- 36:50fantasy people were dropping knocks when some people were
- 36:53saying, hey, maybe Knox gets 700 or 600, 150 yards all season
- 36:58long. Now at the tail end of the
- 37:00season because of Coleman, you're seeing more knocks.
- 37:02And now you saw Knox's best game this year under the Buffalo
- 37:07Bill. So I I think that was what
- 37:08really stood out offensively was was Knox.
- 37:11Shifting to the defensive side of the ball, too, I, I mean, I
- 37:14might not make schematically the Play of the week fish, but like
- 37:16you're looking at a corner blitz that Christian Benford did to
- 37:18turn that into an interception. The awareness that he had to do
- 37:21that and then run it back for a touchdown was very impressive.
- 37:24And then his coverage numbers against Jamar Chase were insane,
- 37:27too. That was a big reason as much as
- 37:28the Bengals scored 34 points, maybe the Bengals win that game.
- 37:31If Jamar Chase even plays like normal to what he is.
- 37:34And Bedford, there's a lot of credit.
- 37:35The bill secondary's been shaky much of the year, but it's not
- 37:37because of him. You know, I always love coaches
- 37:39that are like, hey screw, let's just bring more guys in his face
- 37:43so he can't see what he's supposed to do on the play and
- 37:46just have him get rid of it quick.
- 37:47You never know what can happen. It's like the old, like drive
- 37:51the arrow. It's like the old, like go to
- 37:52the net. You never know what could happen
- 37:54in hockey. I love that too.
- 37:57You know, it's it's like, kind of like simple.
- 37:59I feel bad for Joe Burrell. I do, because we know how
- 38:03special he is. He can't stay healthy.
- 38:05And does the Bengals in the offseason look to move him?
- 38:08I mean, there are stories coming out that there are teams.
- 38:12I'm just saying there has been. And these aren't fake stories
- 38:16because they're multiple writers have written that maybe the
- 38:20Bengals look to move him in the offseason and get some draft
- 38:23stock for him because they're not winning with him.
- 38:26I'm just saying. If they well, they're not
- 38:27winning because they didn't spend a single dollar.
- 38:29I'm just saying that's what I've been reading.
- 38:31Let's go through some games a little bit more quickly.
- 38:35These were both in. Please.
- 38:36Blowouts the Vikings 31 Commanders Nothing.
- 38:41Jaden Daniels gets hurt again in this one.
- 38:44Why is he playing terrible? Why is he playing?
- 38:46I don't. Think we're going to see him
- 38:48again after this one. They don't have a running back
- 38:53offensive line. You know what, Speedy?
- 38:57It took Bobby Johnson a year, but he sufficiently destroyed
- 39:00that offense over there in Washington.
- 39:03We knew he could do it. We knew that he was one of the
- 39:06worst offensive line coaches. They still remembered how to
- 39:09play from their coach the previous year.
- 39:11Now that his system's fully in their brains, they can't block a
- 39:14soul. So the Giant when the Giants
- 39:17face the the. They should kick the you know
- 39:20what out of them. If they beat the commanders,
- 39:24that's why they're going to have the 1st overall pick.
- 39:26Could you stop with this first overall happen?
- 39:28You know what the problem? They're right now.
- 39:30If it ended today, they'd have first.
- 39:32Pick. Yeah, well, they also Robin.
- 39:34Johnson to screw him out of. Here's the problem, and you
- 39:37giant fans need to understand something.
- 39:39Teams aren't going to just lose just so they get the number one
- 39:42pick. It doesn't happen.
- 39:44If that was the case, The Jets should lose every single game.
- 39:46They're not going to do that. I think I think you're right.
- 39:49I think the commanders are freaking terrible right now.
- 39:51And the. Giants and the Giants are better
- 39:52than Vegas, too. They're better than Vegas, too.
- 39:55They should win both those games.
- 39:56The Giants should win both those games.
- 39:59The Giants theoretically should have if they win those two
- 40:03games, In the five games they should have won earlier this
- 40:05season, they should have been a nine win.
- 40:07Team. Yeah, they should have been.
- 40:08Vying for the playoffs? What a fantasyland.
- 40:11Banana land. Banana land.
- 40:13Well. That's Jeff.
- 40:14Banana land. That's Jeff.
- 40:15There. No, we had the banana.
- 40:16The other game was the Seahawks. I mean the Falcons urge Kirk
- 40:20Cousins is done. I think that's pretty clear.
- 40:22The Seahawks killed them. Sam Darnold 20 and 33
- 40:26touchdowns, 2 of them the JSN. 7 catches, 92 yards, 2 touchdowns.
- 40:32But like unstopped Cooper Cup had a touchdown.
- 40:35Not even close. This team is a force to be
- 40:38reckoned with men. Not really.
- 40:42I I mean, obviously Seattle is a force to be reckoned with and
- 40:45and again, the Commanders look like a shell of himself.
- 40:48This is the same Commander's team that went to an NFC title
- 40:51game against Philadelphia last year and now they're not even
- 40:55going to come close to the playoffs and they could be a top
- 40:57ten pick. It's crazy how everything can
- 41:01change in one year with the NFL. It's the only sport how one team
- 41:05could be one of the best teams and fall out so quick the year
- 41:09after. It's unbelief.
- 41:10Absolutely incredible. Yeah, it's even more so in the
- 41:13NFC too. Like AFC is a little more parody
- 41:15this year than it usually does, but usually it's usually a lot
- 41:17of the same repetitive team. But the NFC this year, when you
- 41:20look at the Vikings, Vikings were a 14 win team.
- 41:22Could you remember honestly, and I don't, we don't need you to go
- 41:25over and over and over again with the statistics, speed.
- 41:28Could you remember a time where it is so wide open, where you
- 41:31really can't make a prediction who's going to the Super Bowl
- 41:35and who's winning the Super Bowl?
- 41:36Yeah, it was probably like the last one I would have thought of
- 41:39was probably 2015 when you look at that was the Broncos,
- 41:41Panthers, Super Bowl. The Panthers were all banged up
- 41:43that year, and the Broncos had no offense.
- 41:45I mean, if you look at the NFC right now, I mean, you know
- 41:47who's good, but are, are you going to bet on those guys?
- 41:50Are you going to bet on the Rams after losing against Carolina?
- 41:52You're going to bet on Seattle? They're a young team.
- 41:55I, I don't know, I, I, I, I can't bet on any of these teams.
- 41:59And in the AFC, forget about it. I'm not betting on any of those
- 42:02teams. Yeah, and that's why I talk
- 42:03about the turnover, too. Like Washington, maybe they were
- 42:06played over their heads last year, but they came back down to
- 42:08earth and Seattle was kind of unlucky to an extent last.
- 42:11And if India, if Indianapolis is looking for a quarterback, I'd
- 42:15be reaching right now, right now to Atlanta and trying to get
- 42:19Kirk Cousins because that would make more sense than the garbage
- 42:22that we're hearing. They can.
- 42:24They need them for next year. Pendix ain't playing next year
- 42:26either. Well, I.
- 42:27We have been too late. But Kirk Cousins is not going to
- 42:29be there next year either, so. I think they're going to keep
- 42:32them there because they have them under contract.
- 42:34I think he is guaranteed money sweetie.
- 42:35Yeah, they might. They might be just like stuck
- 42:37just predicament why I? Think they're screwed because
- 42:39they're stupid, but that's a whole another story.
- 42:42But. He tastes himself.
- 42:44Here's some teams that these three games were stupid.
- 42:47The the Cardinals. I mean, I think Gannon's done.
- 42:50That team is a disaster. Kyler Murray's out for the
- 42:53season for sets. Fine, I guess if you want a guy
- 42:56who's going to put up stats on a team that doesn't win, the Rams
- 42:59are just awesome. Some numbers in that game.
- 43:03Blake Forum helping me win fantasy on a week that all my
- 43:06running backs were on by weeks. Blake Corum, listen to this.
- 43:10The the Michigan champion 12 carries, 128 yards, 2
- 43:14touchdowns. Karen Williams, 13 carries, A1
- 43:17more carry, 84 yards and a touchdown for him.
- 43:20Just killing them on the ground. And if that wasn't bad enough,
- 43:23Puka Nakua 7 for 167 and two touchdowns.
- 43:27They could do it all. Man, that team is awesome.
- 43:30The other two games, do we even really need to talk about them?
- 43:33Daniel Jones tore his Achilles. I saw it happen.
- 43:37I said it in our group chat as soon as it happened, he just
- 43:40kind of threw his helmet down. But it was the other foot, so he
- 43:43had the broken fibula on one leg and then he tears the Achilles
- 43:48on the other. Just can't keep himself healthy.
- 43:51Unfortunately. That guy he was doing to make a
- 43:53bunch of money, now he's not going to make that money.
- 43:56Sucks for him and The Jets. Brady Cook somehow ended up
- 43:59playing because tie rods made of plastic apparently, and the
- 44:04Dolphins murdered them. Dolphins are one win away from
- 44:07500. Well, I will say this, Brady
- 44:09Cook will be the starting quarterback moving forward for
- 44:12the rest of the season. You will not see Justin Fields.
- 44:15He will back him up. Tyrod Taylor should be done.
- 44:18I mean, the hamstring four games left.
- 44:20Why bring Tyrod Taylor back? I I don't think we're going to
- 44:23see Tyrod. So I think it's going to be
- 44:26Cook. I think The Jets are going to
- 44:27ride with that for the rest of the season.
- 44:29So and the Dolphins, you got to give McDaniel a little bit of
- 44:32credit. Everybody was counting him out.
- 44:33And this team slowly but surely is moving and and and might even
- 44:37make the playoffs. As crazy as it may may seem,
- 44:40they still on the they're on the cusp of possibly making the
- 44:43playoffs. So it's an incredible story.
- 44:46You lost Tyree kill or you traded away pieces at the trade
- 44:50deadline and you're still in the conversation.
- 44:52I've always liked McDaniel. I love that little mighty mouse
- 44:56and I love everything about him. So I root him on every single
- 44:59time. I think he's a hell of a coach
- 45:01as far as the Rams are concerned, I expect him to be
- 45:03the favorites to come out of the NFC.
- 45:05Watching the Eagles in this game just tell me a lot and Justin
- 45:08Fields, I mean, Justin Herbert looks like he's he's dealing
- 45:11with a pain, but the Eagles are shell of what they were last
- 45:14year. I, I'm going to tell you if the
- 45:15Eagles lose this game, I, I know everybody keeps saying that the,
- 45:19the Cowboys are done. I, I wouldn't say so the Eagles,
- 45:22the Eagles have not looked good after for the last four weeks.
- 45:25So I don't know as far as the Jaguars are concerned, the
- 45:30Jaguars have played a lot better than I thought they were going
- 45:33to be this year and they might make the playoffs.
- 45:34They should make the playoffs. They's going to make the
- 45:36playoffs because the AFC is so bad.
- 45:38But I don't think they won the division.
- 45:39I think the Texans are a better team.
- 45:41They bought, they beat the Colts.
- 45:43They lost. They they lost Daniel Jones
- 45:45early in the game. I the Colts put up a fight, but
- 45:48I think the Colts are done. They don't have a quarterback
- 45:50now. They're going to depend too much
- 45:52on their running game and Jonathan Taylor.
- 45:53I think they're done. And I, The Jets might get
- 45:56themselves a gem. They might get a they went from
- 45:59maybe getting a pick at in the 30s or maybe the late 20s to
- 46:03maybe a teens pick for Sauce Garner this year.
- 46:06I mean, that's pretty good for the New York Jets.
- 46:08Yeah, you definitely have to believe that because he's hurt
- 46:10right now too. Sauce Garner.
- 46:12And then we got Jonathan Taylor getting really worn down.
- 46:14He hasn't really been the same since his bye week outside of
- 46:16the Atlanta game and the no quarterback situation.
- 46:19Yeah, I would believe in the Colts or don't.
- 46:20I agree with you on the Texas. I trust him to win the division
- 46:22more than the Jaguars. Miami.
- 46:24You're right. Mike McDaniel will stay at this
- 46:25point. Just hope to find out.
- 46:27You hope to just find a confident GM because Chris Greer
- 46:29was really running himself out of town and the Rams best team
- 46:31in football, Cardinals, they're a.
- 46:32Mess. I'll take Mike McDaniel any day,
- 46:35any day as my offensive corner. Errol the Colts, man, it goes
- 46:40from like the penthouse to the outhouse.
- 46:43You realize they're working out 44 year old Bill of River.
- 46:46Yeah, I know. Come.
- 46:47Back as Riley Leonard is week to week with an.
- 46:49End Yeah, he should have been on our show.
- 46:51So they don't people, you know, maybe it would have saved.
- 46:55His dobber in the. Dirt care for him, but they
- 46:58don't got Anthony Richardson apparently isn't ready from
- 47:01whatever surgery or brain surgery or whatever the hell
- 47:04happened to that guy. Riley Leonards out, Daniel Jones
- 47:08is out. Who are you putting a
- 47:10quarterback? I mean, I think Tommy Cutlets,
- 47:13they paid him to back up over there.
- 47:15So you can't just find Cutlets just anywhere.
- 47:17Indiana. That's that's why I.
- 47:19Mean Mike White's available. As a brother, is there like an
- 47:21older Mendoza brother or uncle we can get?
- 47:24Over actually, Mendoza's brother is a quarterback that's going to
- 47:28be taking over the quarterback reigns in Indiana after he goes
- 47:31Yeah, he. Came in after the first place,
- 47:33so Mendoza got lit up on the first play of the game, and then
- 47:36they bring in the backup and it's like mini Doza.
- 47:39Yeah, it's just like a mini. Mini looks just like him, looks
- 47:41just like him looks. Similar to like Tua and baby Tua
- 47:46when they were. Identical.
- 47:47Identical. They really are.
- 47:50All right, let's move forwards into this one, into two games
- 47:54that really don't matter that much.
- 47:56But I mean, the Bucks were upset by the Saints, which is
- 47:59fascinating. Tyler Shuck played pretty well
- 48:02in that game. He did look good.
- 48:04He did look good. You.
- 48:05Know at times, you know, like for him I guess.
- 48:08Looks better than Chador. Well, I I would disagree with
- 48:12that. You know, based off at least
- 48:14that Shuck. Only 13 to 2144 in a pick, but
- 48:18he ran for two touchdowns and he had a gutsy 5070.
- 48:21Carries 55. Yards.
- 48:23What's going on with the Bucks, man?
- 48:25It's it's weird. The Bucks defense is shot and
- 48:28their offense, you know, was just not really banging on all
- 48:32cylinders. It took a while, but Abuka
- 48:34doesn't look good. They're not like they're just
- 48:38not either. Guys aren't open.
- 48:40They say Evans might come back on Thursday.
- 48:41They have a Thursday game. Oh, is he so?
- 48:44They'll be they'll be for them. Bucky Irving's back but not
- 48:48looking great yet. Thanks.
- 48:49Just a banged up team this year. Tampa.
- 48:51But the big story was the Titans get the SEC their second win of
- 48:56the season. Cam Ward still look terrible.
- 48:59They had two touchdown passes, 14 of 28117 and a pick.
- 49:04Tony Pollard had a throwback game, 161 and two touchdowns on
- 49:09the ground hit 2 long runs. But Chador in the loss and they
- 49:14they lost because their coach went he had like the worst two
- 49:17point play I've ever seen. Took Chador off the field for
- 49:20that. Chador went 23 of 42.
- 49:22Not great, but 364. Three touchdowns in a pick and
- 49:27three carries for 29 yards and a rushing touchdown.
- 49:30Who cares? Pretty darn good numbers stop 44
- 49:34yards and a touchdown for the for these he.
- 49:36Played the Titans. He played the Titans.
- 49:40Stop this, Garb it. Is against the worst team in the
- 49:42league stop. But apparently the Browns might
- 49:44be right up there for the worst team in the league.
- 49:46The only big news as far as positive stuff for the Browns I
- 49:50would say. Besides, Shidor might not be the
- 49:52worst quarterback in the league is Miles Garrett got his 20th
- 49:56set in the game, and he's closing in on the NFL record of
- 50:0122 and. 1/2 he's going to break it.
- 50:03There's no question he's going to break it.
- 50:05There's four games left he's absolutely going to break.
- 50:07He'll probably break it in the next game.
- 50:10As far as shudor Sanders and his numbers aren't so bad, it was
- 50:15against the Titans. The Titans are not a good team.
- 50:18Cam Ward I'm I'm interested to see what the Titans are going to
- 50:22do in this year's draft. I know they drafted Cam Ward at
- 50:25one do they might, maybe they might draft if they're sitting
- 50:29there at three or two. Maybe they draft another
- 50:32quarterback and then they trade Cam Ward in the offseason if
- 50:36they think somebody is better than he is.
- 50:38I don't know. But Cam Ward has not looked good
- 50:40this year. He really hasn't.
- 50:42So I don't know. I'm not going to say that to
- 50:44Quinton Jammer. I don't want him to jump out of
- 50:46his bands because I know it's his cousin.
- 50:48So, but that's pretty funny, actually.
- 50:50But yeah. And as far as the Saints are
- 50:52concerned, I, I, I don't know what's going on with the Bucks,
- 50:55but if Mike Evans is coming back, it's good for me in my
- 50:58fantasy league. So I'll, I'll take it.
- 51:00Yeah, bad for me in my fantasy league.
- 51:02It's what you describe, Fischick, Buka, only nothing
- 51:04disappearing. Baker Mayfield really not
- 51:06looking like himself since he's come back from his injury.
- 51:08And the offensive line really hasn't been following their own
- 51:11either. And the running game, which I
- 51:13know you were worried about a few weeks ago, Arrow actually
- 51:15got it going in that game. But the passing game really
- 51:17couldn't in the defense, struggling on.
- 51:19So the Saints have been pesky this year at certain points
- 51:21against some good teams. So interesting.
- 51:23Tony Pollard was also on my bench for the Titans, and he got
- 51:2628 points. And yeah, yeah, I think he only
- 51:28got 13 all season. Those both those teams look
- 51:30really bad right now. Like Miles Garrett.
- 51:32Yeah, he should break it I think with 25 sacks at least.
- 51:36Well, we'll see. We have one more set of games
- 51:39left guys, and these were some good ones.
- 51:42Steelers outlasted the Ravens controversial pull in that game
- 51:46on a touchdown that was taken away from the Ravens looked like
- 51:49likely had two feet down in the end zone with possession of the
- 51:52ball on the third step, the defender knocks it out of his
- 51:55hand. They say it was not a catch.
- 51:58Tony Romo was literally explaining why it was a catch on
- 52:01television as they were saying it was not a catch.
- 52:06So, and Harbaugh today, John Harbaugh said that there's it's
- 52:12as clear as mud what a catch is in today's NFL.
- 52:15That's his quote. And then the Broncos again with
- 52:18another unimpressive win against a crap team 24 to 17 over the
- 52:25Raiders. Statistically, RJ Harvey seems
- 52:29to be picking up right where Dobbins left off 75 yards and a
- 52:33touchdown on the ground there, but really, nothing to write
- 52:37home about. Bone Knicks just took what they
- 52:39gave them 31 of 38 for only 212 yards.
- 52:43That's a lot of dinking and Duncan, dude.
- 52:46Yeah, here's what I'm going to say.
- 52:49The Ravens are done. I think they're done.
- 52:51The Steelers are going to win the division just because I I
- 52:54don't know what's Lamar Jackson isn't healthy and that really
- 52:58from one of the great defenses we've seen for a very, very long
- 53:01time to being one of the worst defenses in the league this
- 53:04year. It makes absolutely no sense
- 53:06what happened to the Ravens this year.
- 53:08And honestly, John Harbaugh should be on the hot seat,
- 53:11absolutely should be on the hot seat right now after the season
- 53:14as far as the Broncos are concerned with the Raiders.
- 53:17The Broncos have been squeezing these wins out, squeezing.
- 53:22And they obviously look better than the Raiders.
- 53:25But the Broncos, if they don't put up, they don't start to put
- 53:29up points and they depend too much on their defense, they're
- 53:32going to have problems in the playoffs against these elite
- 53:34teams, these better AFC teams. Because when you're giving the
- 53:38Raiders an opportunity to stay in a game, it it kind of worries
- 53:41you as a team that's competing for a Super Bowl.
- 53:45Yeah, you wonder too, like sometimes they were dominating
- 53:47for 3/4 and sometimes you see them, they get too conservative.
- 53:50Sean Payton, we saw that at the end of this time with the Saints
- 53:52too. Sometimes got got a little too
- 53:54conservative with Drew Brees. They can't have that kind of
- 53:56approach in the playoffs. They looked like they were
- 53:58dominating for a while. Again, they still might be the
- 54:00second or third best team in the AFC right now with the Bills, I
- 54:02think with the Texans right now. But again, they are not going to
- 54:05get there if they don't have an above average offense.
- 54:08The Ravens, I fished it. I mean, you mentioned it.
- 54:10I do think that should have been a touchdown.
- 54:12Now the Steelers might have came back and drove the field too,
- 54:14but I want I thought it was a bad call and I just annoying
- 54:17when the referees decide these games.
- 54:18But these two teams are both very ugly.
- 54:20Whoever wins the division, it's going to be the fourth seed and
- 54:22goes nowhere in the playoffs. Well, that's the whip around as
- 54:26is just happening. The Eagles just took the lead on
- 54:29a trick play pitch to Saquon. Yippie touchdown Skippy Saquon
- 54:34Barkley finally putting up points.
- 54:37What a travesty. What has happened to him this
- 54:39year. And if you're a fantasy owner,
- 54:42my God, everybody in fantasy was drafting him either first,
- 54:47second or third. And Saquon Barkley's numbers to
- 54:50guys like Bijon Robinson and all the other guys that was drafting
- 54:53in front of him, just absolutely horrible.
- 54:56I, if you're a fantasy owner, you should be very upset at
- 54:59yourself drafting Saquon Barkley.
- 55:02That's all. That's just my opinion.
- 55:04And I love Saquon. I wish him nothing but the best,
- 55:06but it's just horrible to see what's going on with the
- 55:09Philadelphia Eagles. And I'm an Eagles fan, so I, I
- 55:11don't, I don't like the way the Eagles have used them this year.
- 55:14Their offensive coordinator is going to be fired.
- 55:16And it shows you how important Moore was for that run last
- 55:20year. He he's a lot better offensive
- 55:22coordinator than people thought he was.
- 55:24And, and you can see the difference of the way their
- 55:26offense is being run this year. And you can see A.J.
- 55:28Brown not happy. Saquon's happy right now.
- 55:30So I guess that's a good sign. Thank you to all the fans out
