Transcript
- 0:00The name of the game is Posh or Tosh.
- 0:02Ooh, it's posh.
- 0:03It's fabulous.
- 0:04Acceptable.
- 0:05That is Tosh.
- 0:05Tish tosh.
- 0:06Yeah, it's like rubbish calling someone darling when you absolutely cannot stand them.
- 0:11I don't think it's posh.
- 0:12I think it's clever.
- 0:13I don't think it's a classy thing to do.
- 0:15It's a clever thing to do.
- 0:16What's your favorite tweet?
- 0:17Well, at the moment, collagen injections are fantastic.
- 0:19I don't know if you can have all these things in America, but we do a lot of salmon sperm peptides.
- 0:24Is the new thing at 49 becoming louder, more ambitious and more visible instead of gracefully fading into the background.
- 0:31Sure, it's totally posh.
- 0:32Cuz that's totally me.
- 0:33Honey, you are cool.
- 0:35To your best life and claim it, live it, do it.
- 0:38That's what I say.
- 0:38Definitely not Tosh.
- 0:39That means I have to fade away.
- 0:41I'm not fading anywhere.
- 0:42I'm just getting started.
- 0:45Before the guest leaves, we usually play a game if you're up for it.
- 0:49I'm up for games.
- 0:50You know I love a game.
- 0:50Okay, okay.
- 0:52I'm excited for this one.
- 0:53Okay.
- 0:53This one was written with you, especially in mine.
- 0:56Okay.
- 0:57The name of the game is Posh or Tosh.
- 0:59Ooh, it's if it's posh, it's fabulous.
- 1:03Acceptable.
- 1:03And is Tosh.
- 1:04Tish.
- 1:04Tosh.
- 1:05Yeah, it's like rubbish.
- 1:06Oh, okay.
- 1:06Tosh.
- 1:07Rubbish.
- 1:08Yes, yes.
- 1:09So I will read the scenario to you and you tell me what you think.
- 1:12Okay, here we go.
- 1:14Calling someone darling when you absolutely cannot stand them.
- 1:18Posh or tosh,.
- 1:23That's difficult for me.
- 1:25I don't think it's posh.
- 1:26I think it's clever.
- 1:30So I don't think it's a classy thing to do.
- 1:33It's a clever thing to do.
- 1:34So maybe, you know, let's put it in the tosh.
- 1:37You're like, that goes into the tosh bin.
- 1:39Okay?
- 1:39Forgiving a friend, but keeping the receipts just in case.
- 1:44Posh or Tosh.
- 1:46Again, I think it's tosh.
- 1:47Because if you forgive, you've got to let go.
- 1:49Okay, and are you good about that?
- 1:50Like, can you really let go if you forgive?
- 1:53If I've forgiven, yes.
- 1:54Because I think that you've got to give forgiveness is, and I think I even said this in my reunion is I'm sorry, I won't do it again.
- 2:00Then that is stopped.
- 2:02You reference it if someone's hurt you and you think, okay, there's a bit of a boundary and trust has to be earned.
- 2:08But you don't, like, dig it up and dig it up and dig it up.
- 2:11Where's that gonna go?
- 2:12That's not gonna.
- 2:13Nothing can thrive from that.
- 2:15Right.
- 2:15You just gotta think about your children.
- 2:17You have to forgive them unconditionally.
- 2:19Oh, every day.
- 2:20Every day.
- 2:21Every freaking day.
- 2:22Yes.
- 2:22And they will say some pretty cutting things.
- 2:25Right.
- 2:26And you still have to forgive them because you're their mama.
- 2:28Yes.
- 2:28And you're like, okay, tough, tough skin.
- 2:31And you know they're only going to say it to you because they love you, right?
- 2:34Apparently, that's what they say.
- 2:37Yeah.
- 2:39We will see.
- 2:40Yeah.
- 2:41A hostess secretly googling the price of wine her guest brought.
- 2:46Oh, my gosh.
- 2:47That's.
- 2:47That's definitely Tosh, right?
- 2:49Who does that?
- 2:49That's really.
- 2:50It's like googling people.
- 2:51Yes.
- 2:52I mean, who does that?
- 2:54That is like the lowest class thing to do.
- 2:57Like, because then you're, like, trying to categorize people.
- 2:59Like, do I give them attention or not give them attention?
- 3:01For me, that's like absolute social climbing.
- 3:03Yes.
- 3:04That's a no.
- 3:04No.
- 3:06Going to the same cosmetic doctor as your frenemy and refusing to tell her what you had done.
- 3:11Posh or tosh?
- 3:12That's tosh.
- 3:13Like, just say it.
- 3:14Just say it.
- 3:15Like, I'm very open about my treatments.
- 3:17Okay.
- 3:17What.
- 3:18What's your favorite treatment?
- 3:19Tweakman or treatment.
- 3:20Oh, tweak med.
- 3:21I like that.
- 3:23Okay, what's your favorite tweak?
- 3:24Well, at the moment, collagen injections are fantastic.
- 3:27Yeah, yeah.
- 3:28I'm learning the game.
- 3:29Sorry, I'm, like, so interested.
- 3:31I'm like, what do I need to.
- 3:32I need to, like.
- 3:33Because I feel like I want to start incorporating newer things.
- 3:36So tell me.
- 3:36So I've got a great doctor and, you know, she is constantly like, I don't know if you can have all these things in America, but we do a lot of salmon.
- 3:46Sperm peptides is the new thing.
- 3:49Collagen injections.
- 3:51I take my collagen every morning.
- 3:53My vitamin C.
- 3:55Like, I'm intentional about making sure that I continue a glow up.
- 4:00Okay.
- 4:00That is really good.
- 4:01Because why shouldn't you be?
- 4:03And I eat well.
- 4:04Yeah, exactly, exactly.
- 4:06You turn into too much sugar.
- 4:07No, that's good.
- 4:08That's good.
- 4:08Well, if you feel.
- 4:09I feel like you look good.
- 4:10You feel good.
- 4:11It all ties in together, you know?
- 4:13It all does.
- 4:15Knowing exactly where everyone is seated at dinner before deciding whether you're going or not.
- 4:20Oh, that's tosh.
- 4:22A lady doesn't do that.
- 4:23You go and you enjoy wherever you're.
- 4:26Sitting and you make the best of it.
- 4:27And I always think that they were there for a reason and that wherever you've been sat, there is a reason behind it.
- 4:33I have been known to move a placement once, which was.
- 4:37Goes against the grain of everything, I believe.
- 4:40But I was sat next to a woman that had publicly slated me, knowing nothing about my family and, you know, was vile.
- 4:49And I just thought, I cannot do this.
- 4:52I just need to have a little bit of space.
- 4:54That was for my own sanity.
- 4:56And I think the hostess understood in the end.
- 4:59She was, like, apologetic that she'd actually put me there, but I was just trying to keep it.
- 5:03I didn't want to bring any drama into the scenario.
- 5:05I wouldn't anyway, but it was just an uncomfortable scenario.
- 5:09Yeah, you have to do things for your mental health.
- 5:11There's a mental health move, right?
- 5:13You're like, that's a mental health.
- 5:14If it would have been a Bucky in Palace, I wouldn't never have done it.
- 5:17But it wasn't.
- 5:18So I did.
- 5:20You're like, it was done.
- 5:21Okay.
- 5:23A friend telling you an uncomfortable truth about yourself on camera instead of in private.
- 5:29Posh or Tosh?
- 5:30Well, you know, that's part of the course with housewives, because they.
- 5:34They want to see that.
- 5:36So I don't think I would never do that in public.
- 5:40I think that's totally tosh.
- 5:43But I'm doing a TV show where that makes good tv, so I'm not going to hold it against them.
- 5:47I personally don't try and embarrass people.
- 5:51I could, but I don't, because my intention is not to hurt people.
- 5:56So, you know, but each to their own.
- 5:59You know, people get a kick out of it.
- 6:00So what can I say?
- 6:01What can you say?
- 6:02You're making TV, right?
- 6:03Makes good TV.
- 6:04Yeah, there you go.
- 6:04There you go.
- 6:05After 20 years of friendship, deciding one small, spectacular argument is enough to end it.
- 6:11Posh or Tosh?
- 6:13You know what?
- 6:14I think that's tosh, because I think if you've had a spectacular friendship for 20 years, you can work it out.
- 6:19However, I do not personally know.
- 6:22I've some catastrophic circumstances that has ended a friendship overnight.
- 6:26And those things will be, you know, I don't know, marriage, breakup or, you know, a deep lie or, you know, these things do happen.
- 6:36So I think it's circumstantial, but I would always say give people the benefit of the doubt and try and Work it out first.
- 6:43Forgiveness is everything.
- 6:45Right?
- 6:45And we're far from perfect.
- 6:47Look at me.
- 6:47I'm like, got so many flaws and, you know, I mess up and I hurt people and I've.
- 6:53I've got to like, own it and say sorry and move forward.
- 6:56And if.
- 6:57What if they don't give me a second chance?
- 6:58Mort, if it's me that's messed up, I would be really.
- 7:01I've lost someone in my life.
- 7:02That's a grievance.
- 7:03I don't want a grievance.
- 7:04I'm like, very loyal and want my,.
- 7:06You know, your people.
- 7:07My own people.
- 7:09Yes, I agree.
- 7:10Make me who I am.
- 7:11Yes, it's true.
- 7:12And they do call out my flaws and I'm accountable to them and that's important and that's why we are friends.
- 7:17But if they stole my husband, that'd be a big thing.
- 7:20That would end a friendship.
- 7:22That would end a friendship.
- 7:25They would never manage to do that because they would never win.
- 7:28But I'm just saying that would be a kind of thing that would end a friendship.
- 7:30Right.
- 7:31That would be definitely a deal breaker.
- 7:33That's.
- 7:34Yeah.
- 7:34There's really no going back to that.
- 7:36No.
- 7:36You know.
- 7:36Yeah.
- 7:37No.
- 7:37Although I would have to find a way of forgiving them for your own.
- 7:41Mental health, though, not because you wanted to be a friend to them again.
- 7:44You just have to.
- 7:45I would have to, like, yeah.
- 7:47Can you imagine carrying that?
- 7:48And that's how people get ill.
- 7:50They can't let go.
- 7:52Correct.
- 7:53I totally believe that.
- 7:55Bitterness eats you away from the inside out.
- 7:59Letting your husband know only the edited highlights of the girls trip.
- 8:03Posh or tosh?
- 8:04I would say it's posh because she doesn't need to know the nitty gritty.
- 8:07Why would I upset him intentionally?
- 8:10Like, I think you are wise.
- 8:11If I need to discuss something, I will.
- 8:13But he doesn't need to know, like all the details of like she said, he said, I want to talk to him about important stuff and tittle tattle and upset and drama is.
- 8:22It's like, honey, really?
- 8:23Can we just like talk about important things like us and our future and our children and work like that we're doing together, building our life.
- 8:31Like, he's like, I.
- 8:32I'm really not interested in their cat fights unless I need like some therapy from him.
- 8:38But I have girlfriends that I can thrash that out with.
- 8:40He doesn't need to go through all those details.
- 8:42Right.
- 8:42And they get so bored.
- 8:44They get so bored.
- 8:45Yes.
- 8:45They're just like.
- 8:46It's like, kiss.
- 8:46Keep it Simple.
- 8:47Stupid.
- 8:48Do you know what I mean?
- 8:49My favorite Akrom.
- 8:51Oh, true.
- 8:51It's so true.
- 8:52Same with the husbands, okay?
- 8:54At 49, becoming louder, more ambitious, and more visible instead of gracefully fading into the background.
- 9:00Posh or Tosh?
- 9:01Posh, because that's totally me.
- 9:02Honey, you are cool.
- 9:04To your best life and claim it, live it, do it.
- 9:07That's what I say.
- 9:08Definitely not Tosh.
- 9:09That means I have to fade away.
- 9:11I'm not fading anywhere.
- 9:12I'm just getting started.
- 9:14Yes.
- 9:14100 space.
- 9:16Yes.
- 9:16Yes.
- 9:17Oh, Wanting to be the most interesting woman at the table and admitting it.
- 9:21Posh or Tosh?
- 9:22See, I think, you know, I.
- 9:24I think that's Tosh.
- 9:25Because I think you need to.
- 9:28When I go into an environment, I actually find it overwhelming when people just talk at you.
- 9:35And I think the whole point of conversation is to just listen and get to know people.
- 9:39I don't need to be liked, and I certainly don't need to prove myself.
- 9:46People can accept me or not accept me.
- 9:49Doesn't change who I am.
- 9:50Doesn't change where my identity is.
- 9:53So, yeah, I.
- 9:55I think.
- 9:55Why would you need to prove yourself every single time?
- 9:58Like, just be comfortable.
- 9:59And you also don't need to be, like, the main star every five seconds.
- 10:03Like, give it to the host, give it to other people.
- 10:06When you're asked, speak up.
- 10:08But you don't need to dominate.
- 10:10I mean, that is crass.
- 10:11Yeah, that is right?
- 10:12Don't you think?
- 10:12Like, let other people have the spotlight.
- 10:15I mean, obviously, I already have the spotlight, so it's not like I need to try.
- 10:19You have it.
- 10:20My light is shining, so I just am being.
- 10:22I'm just radiating.
- 10:23What can I say?
- 10:24You're like, I've got the show, honey.
- 10:26I'm good.
- 10:29Oh, my God.
- 10:30Share the love.
- 10:30Yeah, share the love.
- 10:31Exactly.
- 10:32Share the love.
- 10:32And I love that you are grabbing life by the horns.
- 10:36Yeah, by the horns.
- 10:37And just going, so.
- 10:38This is going to be so exciting.
- 10:40Okay, everybody, follow her.
- 10:41Add Juicy Mayhew, and watch the show.
- 10:44Watch the show.
- 10:44September 7th.
- 10:45Yay.
- 10:46Yay.
- 10:47Oh, my gosh.
- 10:47Thank you so much, my love, for coming.
- 10:49Oh, my gosh.
- 10:50Thank you for having me.
