Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:21
April 15th, 2025. Happy Jackie Robinson Day.
• 0:26
It's a number 42 day. Everybody across MLB is wearing
• 0:31
  42. The one day when anybody wears
• 0:35
it since the number 42 has since been retired across MLB because
• 0:40
finally 1947 the owners collectively pulled their heads
• 0:45
out of their asses and allowed full participation in the
• 0:49
league. So Jackie Robinson broke the
• 0:53
color barrier and finally we could actually have legitimate
• 0:56
stats that we can compare across generations because finally all
• 1:00
of the best players were finally playing in the major leagues.
• 1:04
So all right, last night did not go as I planned or as I hoped.
• 1:11
There was a there was a lot of runs scored, so that didn't go
• 1:15
well. But hey, let's wait, go
• 1:18
sometimes tonight, I'm switching over to the basketball.
• 1:23
We got some NBA playing games. Specifically, I'm looking at the
• 1:29
Warriors taking on Memphis. And this is what the Warriors
• 1:35
  have been waiting for postseason.
• 1:37
They got their stuff together, They got their lineup set.
• 1:40
  They're ready. It's time.
• 1:43
Flip the switch. They like how they're running
• 1:46
  things. They're clicking.
• 1:48
These old vets are going to go out there, give it to these
• 1:52
young grizzly and just put them down.
• 1:55
So definitely going to win, no question about that.
• 1:58
The issue is, are they going to cover 7 1/2?
• 2:01
And I tell you what, I'm not sure.
• 2:05
So are they just going to squeak by or are they going to just go
• 2:07
out there, blow them out so they don't have to worry about
• 2:10
  things? I'm not sure.
• 2:13
I think, though, that they're just going to go out there, get
• 2:16
it done, not have to worry about it.
• 2:19
Maybe they can cruise in the fourth quarter.
• 2:20
So I'm going to give up the points.
• 2:23
So we're going to take Golden State Warriors -7 1/2 against
• 2:28
the Memphis Grizzly in tonight's NBA basketball play, in
• 2:33
tournament action, Same thing, better than that.
• 2:36
Pound it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:38
to it. Don't forget to rate, review,
