  And everything seems to be backwards this year. We started off with very

  very dry weather. Typically we think spring, we think rain. We think
• 1:19
  everything all the crops, getting all that all that nutrients and everything at the
• 1:23
  need, and we think of cleaning our gutters and other issues that come with
• 1:27
  home ownership. And now this year, it seems everything's going on backwards and
• 1:32
  we're getting that rain now and people are going, holy crud, I forgot
• 1:36
  to do my gutters. I forgot to clean my gutters. And we are
• 1:40
  seeing big time issues with gutters and overflowing issues and wet bastements and those kind
• 1:46
  of things. And I know you're getting calls from folks saying I should have
• 1:49
  listened to you guys months ago when you were talking about gutters shutter, because
• 1:53
  right now is the time where you're really seeing, you're really seeing that that
• 1:57
  beautiful investment payoff, isn't it? It is? You know, I always
• 2:01
  say, you know, you know, weather, weather, weather, whether
• 2:06
  we call it whatever we want, it's changing. We get stretches with less
• 2:13
  rain, and then when we get rain, we get massive rain. And
• 2:16
  what we had on Monday, I mean I had a little over three inches
• 2:20
  at my house. That is a lot of rain to get in one day.

  And what happens when you get a rain like that where it rains for
• 2:28
  I mean, I don't know, it rained for a good eight hours straight,
• 2:30
  but it was heavy. Is all of those problems that we didn't know
• 2:36
  about. Because even in a normal rain, some of these issues won't rear
• 2:38
  their ugly heads. But when it rains three inches over eight hours, when
• 2:42
  everything just gets wet and gets saturated and stay saturated and the water keeps coming
• 2:46
  down, is when we see the problems. Honestly, I could have had
• 2:50
  five people answering the phones non stop all day on Monday. The phones did
• 2:53
  did not stop ringing from overflowing gutters, from downspouts not working too, from
• 2:59
  people getting water in their basements too, numerous roof leaks. When we get
• 3:05
  rain like that, if there is an issue with the roof like that's when
• 3:09
  you see it because everything on the roof gets completely saturated and it stays saturated
• 3:15
  and it just keeps coming So when you want to talk, you know,
• 3:20
  people, it's obvious if there's no pain. And when I say pain,
• 3:23
  when we're not getting a lot of rain, people aren't thinking about gutters.

  But guess what We've got fall coming up. And I don't like to talk
• 3:31
  about it already, but you know, for some people this summer has been
• 3:34
  so hot that hey, maybe they're ready for it, but fall's coming.

  Leaves will be turning color, leaves will be falling. And a lot of
• 3:43
  people noticed in this rain on Monday that gutters weren't working properly. Gutters might
• 3:47
  have been clogged or just I mean it might it might not have been to
• 3:52
  all rain like this that people notice that their issues from winter snow and ice
• 3:55
  were created. So when we talk about gutter shutter, I don't care how
• 4:01
  much rain we get, it doesn't matter. This gutter is a full six
• 4:06
  inch oh three two milliluminum, so it's as strong as it gets. I'm

  sure a lot of people listening have probably seen our social media ads where I'm

  hanging on that gutter and I'm two hundred and twenty five pounds. So it's

  strong, it's big, it's going to handle the rain. It's never gonna
• 4:23
  clog. If there's anything wrong with it, you just pick up a phone

  were downspouts and something. Over the years and talking with you, I've learned

  not only obviously having clean, clear flowing gutters very very important, but if
• 5:09
  that water has nowhere to go, and the importance of having not just downspouts,
• 5:14
  but actual adequate downspouts placed in the right position, with proper angling of
• 5:18
  the gutters, and of course making sure that that water is not just getting
• 5:21
  off the roof, but then getting away from the home. And that's one
• 5:25
  of the great specialties you guys have at Larsnome Services. With all your experience,

  with all the training that your guys have, it really does make a

  huge, huge difference getting that water away from the home and having actual,
• 5:39
  well built, well designed down spouts. You know, that's that's one of

  the main differences between us and a lot of other companies. They're going to

  come and, you know, sell you some sort of cover system where you're
• 5:48
  existing gutters that might have leaky corners that might not be slowed properly, or
• 5:53
  some sort of filter system. We're going to redo the entire system. And

  what's really fun sometimes not. Sometimes I'll lot of houses. People move into
• 6:01
  a house and there is a random, oddly placed downspaut in a spot they
• 6:05
  don't want or they don't like, or we walk around the house and go,
• 6:10
  we need to move these because all this water is actually coming down through
• 6:15
  the downspout and actually coming back to the house because over time grade has sagged
• 6:18
  and now we've got a negative grad around the home. But what we do
• 6:24
  is a complete system. And some people are like, well, you know,
• 6:26
  I don't I just need a cover, I don't need the whole thing.

  And that's true. Sometimes sometimes people have great gutter systems and and you
• 6:34
  know, maybe that's just they're not the customer for us. But we do
• 6:40
  a full system. We make sure that the downsbaults are placed properly, and
• 6:43
  it's fun sometimes being able to eliminate and or move that problem downspault that was
• 6:48
  coming across the sidewalk or coming down directly on driveway. We can get rid
• 6:54
  of it. Especially with the size of gutter shutter because it can handle so
• 6:58
  much water. A lot of times we can just eliminate certain downs baults completely
• 7:02
  and get water to flow to an area that's much more convenient for the home
• 7:08
  or better performing for the home. So yeah, downs bolts are super important.

  I've said many times you could have a two inch gutter on your home.

  If you've got sufficient downs bolts for them to get out, then that's
• 7:19
  that's all that matters. Unfortunately, you know, with a two three four
• 7:23
  inch gutter, you're gonna need you know, twenty downs bolts on a house
• 7:26
  and that's no fun. But with gutter shutter, we can very comfortably go
• 7:30
  up to fifty sixty feet of roofline with one downs bault, which which which
• 7:35
  helps us design the system that's more convenient or conducive for a lot of homeowners.

  You know, something you brought up to that I don't think we've ever
• 7:43
  talked about, and it never popped into my head until now we talk about
• 7:46
  the pitching of gutters and of course properly plays adequate downspouts. I never thought
• 7:51
  of as a home settles as it, you know, as as time goes
• 7:55
  on, you think, well that the best mountain gets to so my house,
• 7:59
  let's say our house is five, ten years old, whatever, never
• 8:03
  had a problem, never had a problem, and uh, and goodness,
• 8:05
  I you know, I keep my gutters clean. Maybe you're a weirdo and
• 8:09
  one of those people that may be like, hey, I don't mind doing
• 8:11
  it. I don't know who those people are, but maybe there's somebody that
• 8:13
  says that says, we're up there, we're doing it. Yeah, But
• 8:16
  all of the sudden, the past year or so, we're starting to see
• 8:20
  water running over our gutters, and we're starting to see backups in our gutters,
• 8:24
  and and that that can be caused by just simply a home settling and
• 8:28
  correct me if I'm wrong, and or even just a couple of you know,
• 8:31
  a couple of millimeters either direction can really set that that whole system out
• 8:35
  of whack. You know, I would say, typically when yes, homes
• 8:41
  do move, homes do settle like I just built a brand new house.
• 8:45
  Things move so and that's very common. And what we'll start to see is,
• 8:48
  like, you know, maybe an interior door it won't latch, and
• 8:52
  that's just because houses moved. I think what we typically see with gutters,
• 8:56
  with gutters getting out of whack and gutters not sloping properly, it's our winters.

  It's ice and snow, so that ice and snow build up in the
• 9:05
  gutter, or that snow up on the roof melts and thaws and melts and
• 9:07
  thaws, and your open style gutters just act like giant ice trays. While
• 9:13
  it freezes, it thaws, it expands, it starts to push the front
• 9:16
  of the gutter out, and it never fails. It usually pushes the front
• 9:18
  of the gutter out, like right in the middle of the gutter run or
• 9:22
  right over a front door. So no matter what you do, you try
• 9:24
  to go back up there, you try to push it back in and fix
• 9:28
  it. Then this happens right after the next big rain or the next winter.
• 9:31
  It pushes it back out and it's overflowing. But with the strength of
• 9:37
  the product that we use, we know that's not going to happen. And
• 9:39
  it's actually right in our contract, right in our warranties that if they ever
• 9:43
  are missedformed from the weight of ice or snow, that we will replace them
• 9:48
  for free. So it's not something that you ever have to worry about.

  So as far as performance goes with the size, the strength, and if
