Federal agents just smashed a global crime network in “Operation Hard Ball,” arresting 24 people linked to three Indian-origin syndicates accused of murder, extortion, and trafficking tons of drugs across borders. Eleven were nabbed in California, with 37 total defendants indicted — and 10 still on the run. Evidence includes 2,000+ pounds of cocaine, a pound of heroin, cash, and 12 guns seized in raids from Sacramento to LA.
