  Speaker 1: So every Friday we get into Authentic Imitationology, and we've

  Speaker 1: been doing it for ninety over ninety times we've been

  Speaker 1: getting together on Fridays, Amen to experience the authenticness and
• 1:15
  Speaker 1: the authenticity of imitating. Right, the most successful person who
• 1:20
  Speaker 1: has ever lived in all of history, the Lord Jesus. Amen.

  Speaker 1: We're going to imitate him because he is the living Word.
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: So when we imitate God, we're imitating the word of God.
• 1:30
  Speaker 1: We're imitating Christ. Amen, And we're being who God called
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: us to be, according to his word, according to his purpose,
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: according to his plan. Amen. He's an eternal life giver.

  Speaker 1: He doesn't just do things halfway. He does completely complete works. Right.

  Speaker 1: His forgiveness is complete, salvation is complete. Right, His eternity
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: is complete, His eternal life in us and through us
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: is complete. His word is complete. He completed the law. Amen.

  Speaker 1: He's an amazing God. So today we're going to talk

  Speaker 1: about maintaining an eternal perspective in our thinking. The way

  Speaker 1: we think we shouldn't be thinking so much on temporal things,
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: temporary things. We should be having a mindset right and
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: focused on eternity, because right now this is a little
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: like not even a blip of all eternity. Like, right now,
• 2:29
  Speaker 1: I've been on this planet over fifty years, Amen, and
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: that's like like like a blip in time when it
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: comes to eternity. That's like a millisecond, less than a
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: millisecond whatever. That is the shortest amount of time you
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: could live one hundred years, that's just seconds like this.
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: It's nothing compared to eternity. But we live a full
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: life because we have a full presence of God living
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: within us if you're born again, so we live with
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: eternity in mind, not just on temporary things. So I'm
• 3:02
  Speaker 1: calling this one eternal perspective. I hope I spell that right.

  Speaker 1: Eternal perspective. Here on the morning, Devo, We're gonna start
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: in Collisions, chapter number three, Verse number two. Collasians, Chapter
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: number three, Verse number two, maintaining and eternal perspective in
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: our thinking. Whatever happens here usually comes out of here, right,
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: And whatever comes out of here usually we start acting upon.
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: The more we ponder, the more we think about things, Amen,
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: the more we want to do those things. So if
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: we're focused on temporary, temporary things and focus on material things, money, fame, fortune,
• 3:42
  Speaker 1: if we focused on only those things that are temporary
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: here today and gone tomorrow, then our actions are gonna
• 3:48
  Speaker 1: be the same. But if we focus on eternal things, Amen,
• 3:51
  Speaker 1: we're gonna stay focused on the perfective of our faith,
• 3:53
  Speaker 1: the author and finish of our faith, the one who
• 3:56
  Speaker 1: is eternal. His word is eternal, his truth is eternal.

  Speaker 1: Focus on those things and our life will go in
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: a direction that will be pleasing to the Lord. Right
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: pleasing to the Lord, and it will really be satisfying
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: to our soul. A man, no matter how much or
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: how less we have, we have it all, and we
• 4:13
  Speaker 1: have Christ in us, the hope of glory. So let's
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: go for it. Amen, and man, this is good, this
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: is good. It's a good topic to get into to
• 4:22
  Speaker 1: spark up the weekend. Amen. If this is your end
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: of the work week for you, praise God. If it's
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: continuing throughout the weekend like me, Amen, praise God to

  Speaker 1: we're here and we're together and that's what really matters, right,

  Speaker 1: and we're gonna support each other all through the weekend

  Speaker 1: so that way, no one gets unnoticed, no voice gets unheard,

  Speaker 1: or no story is not listening to. Amen. We're mindful
• 4:48
  Speaker 1: of that here on this platform. And everybody counts. Everybody
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: matters to the Lord. Amen. Your life matters, My life matters.

  Speaker 1: We all matter to God, and he wants us to
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: elevate us and excel our way of thinking and elevate

  Speaker 1: our way of thinking. The Bible actually says that if
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: you're in Christ, you'll already seed it in heavenly places,
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: where eternity rules, where eternity reigns. Amen. And we're seated
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: in the heavily places looking down at the temporal things
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: and looking up at the eternal one. How about that?
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: So let's pray first. After we pray, we'll share us
• 5:20
  Speaker 1: out for like sixty seconds. And after those sixty seconds,

  Speaker 1: when we come through on the other side, a man

  Speaker 1: will be In Colligal's chapter number three, verse number two,

  Speaker 1: I'm calling this one eternal perspective. Let's pray. Father, I

  Speaker 1: thank you that you have set eternity in our hearts,

  Speaker 1: that you have written your law already in our hearts.

  Speaker 1: And we know what's right and we know what's wrong.

  Speaker 1: We know the difference because every one of us was
• 5:45
  Speaker 1: created and born with the conscience. Thank you, Lord God

  Speaker 1: for your love, your grace, and your mercy, your complete forgiveness,
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: your finished work at cavalry. Thank you for protecting and
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: guiding us and guarding us. I pray I had your
• 5:57
  Speaker 1: protection over all my family members, my wife, are children,

  Speaker 1: our whole entire bloodlines from one side to the other,
• 6:04
  Speaker 1: everyone from the youngest to the oldest, my grandchildren and

  Speaker 1: everyone in between. A man, thank you so much for

  Speaker 1: a family that's alive and a family that's thriving in
• 6:13
  Speaker 1: a family that's looking upon you and your word. Thank you,

  Speaker 1: lot God, that you are going to protect those people

  Speaker 1: in Florida and Jesus' thame that we know and that

  Speaker 1: we don't know. I prayer power of protection over their

  Speaker 1: lives right now, wisdom and that it can navigate through

  Speaker 1: the storm, tornado, hurricane, whatever is coming that way. Lo God,

  Speaker 1: that you would God in guard and protect your children
• 6:33
  Speaker 1: in Jesus' name. Also pray, Lo God, that you will

  Speaker 1: continue to step off your arquen angels dispatch them to

  Speaker 1: every single area of our lives, whether we're in school, work,
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: wherever we go, and there you are, Lottle God, by

  Speaker 1: way of your angelic hosts, and your presence is felt
• 6:49
  Speaker 1: by way of your Holy Spirit. So Lord God, thank you,

  Speaker 1: number ninety three. Can you believe it? The law of
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: the Spirit gives life right and the law of the
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: Lord what shows us the death part of it? Right?
• 7:29
  Speaker 1: And deny it. That's why we're not bound by the
• 7:32
  Speaker 1: law anymore according to the New Covenant. Right, let's go
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: forward sixty seconds. Help me share this out and when
• 7:37
  Speaker 1: we come back, we'll get right into Collazins chapter number three,

  Speaker 1: not just happiness. But if they're seeking joy, you'll find

  Speaker 1: the truth and joy in the Lord Jesus. You'll find

  Speaker 1: the truth and joy in God's eternal perspective, in his
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: word and his living word. We serve a God who
• 10:00
  Speaker 1: is alive, not a God who is a dead corpse. Amen.

  Speaker 1: I don't know who that's for. But be encouraged that
• 10:06
  Speaker 1: we're on the right path when it comes to the
• 10:08
  Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ and what he can do in your
• 10:10
  Speaker 1: life today, right now, asap, right in your life, or
• 10:14
  Speaker 1: when you put your hope, faith and trust in him.
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: He's in an awesome God, an amazing God of forgiving God,
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: a God of grace, a God of mercy, all powerful,
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: omnipresent God. Amen. Yet although he's almighty, he still has
• 10:27
  Speaker 1: a gentle spirit. And he doesn't force his way over
• 10:30
  Speaker 1: you and in you and through you. Amen. He doesn't
• 10:33
  Speaker 1: force you to believe in him. This is a choice
• 10:36
  Speaker 1: we make a man. Whether we choose life or death
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: is our choice. But we speak. We have the power
• 10:41
  Speaker 1: of speech. Whether we speak life or the same type,
• 10:44
  Speaker 1: we can speak death. But you know, we're all about
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: life giving messages over here all about speaking life into
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: other people, not speaking death. Only thing we speak death
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: over is demanded forces the devil, you know, evil and
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: things like that. Hate what God hates, and we love
• 11:01
  Speaker 1: what God loves. We hate who God hates, and we
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: love who God loves. That's where we stand here, as
• 11:08

  Speaker 1: a dictator and it won't show love. God gives us

  Speaker 1: a choice. Amen. Without choice, there is no love. If

  Speaker 1: you had no choice other than to follow God, you

  Speaker 1: had to do follow Jesus. You had to do this,
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: and you had to do that. You'll be in a
• 11:43
  Speaker 1: religious system that's not a loving system. You'll be just
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: in a religion and you won't have that eternal perspective
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: that we're gonna see in the scriptures today. Amen. Let's

  Speaker 1: work in this for a while. Collation, Chapter three, verse

  Speaker 1: number two. Set your mind and keep focused habitually on
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: the things above, the heavenly things, not on things that
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: are on the earth, which have only temple value. I
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: when to read this again. Amen, set your mind and
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: keep focused on habitually on the things above. Have a
• 12:40
  Speaker 1: holy habit, a heavenly mentality, a habit to see things
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: that are above, not things that are on the earth
• 12:48
  Speaker 1: which have only templele value. They are valuable, absolutely, God
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: values all his creation right. But what we have on
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: this earth is temporary. So a lot of people are
• 13:00
  Speaker 1: putting a lot of investment in their things that they
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: own on this earth. Cars, homes, jewelry, money, yachts, boats,
• 13:14
  Speaker 1: vacation homes. They're putting all their efforts and all their
• 13:19
  Speaker 1: energy into things that are temporary. Now, I'm not saying
• 13:21
  Speaker 1: just stay home and do nothing and be lazy. That's
• 13:24
  Speaker 1: not the spirit that God wants us to move in.
• 13:26
  Speaker 1: He wants to move in Holy Spirit. God. He wants
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: us to move and excel and experience victory over all
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: parts of our lives financially, relationally a man. But he
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: doesn't want us to stay focused on the things that
• 13:39
  Speaker 1: are here today and gone tomorrow. He wants us to
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: have an eternal perspective according to His plan and purpose
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: and his word over our lives. And because what he
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: wants is the best thing we could have. Amen, we
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: should have the best thing that God wants for our lives.
• 13:59
  Speaker 1: Let's be who God called this to be. There is
• 14:01
  Speaker 1: no way, no way, no way that we're gonna stay
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: stuck here on this planet. We are pilgrims walking through
• 14:08
  Speaker 1: so the blessed life that we do have. Amen. Yes,
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: we are blessed. We're not better than anyone else. We
• 14:15
  Speaker 1: are all blessed people, and we have a better perspective
• 14:19
  Speaker 1: and a better covenant than everybody else. And that's why
• 14:22
  Speaker 1: if you're not born again, you're walking around looking at
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: the born again Christians, looking at who do they think
• 14:27
  Speaker 1: they are? Well, we know not only think we know
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: who we are in Christ right, we are a holy priesthood.
• 14:35
  Speaker 1: We are the body of Christ. We are the moving
• 14:38
  Speaker 1: temples around this earth. We are the Church. We are
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: the bride of Christ. We are anointed, appointed, separated, sanctified,
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: and made known because God has made us known. We're
• 14:50
  Speaker 1: not hiding out. Some of my brothers and sisters like
• 14:53
  Speaker 1: to hide out in churches and they never leave the
• 14:56
  Speaker 1: full walls of their church, and they never preach the
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: gospel to anybody. Think, Hey, this is the way it is.
• 15:01
  Speaker 1: We got to hide out. We have to be like
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: live below our means and all that. I understand that
• 15:07
  Speaker 1: perspective and everything, but that's not an eternal perspective. We're
• 15:11
  Speaker 1: not called to hide. We're called to shine our light.
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: We're called to go and make people know the facts
• 15:17
  Speaker 1: about the Lord Jesus Christ. We're going to preach the
• 15:20
  Speaker 1: gospel to the four corners of this earth. We're gonna
• 15:24
  Speaker 1: make disciples. We're gonna baptize people in the name of
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Because that's an eternal perspective, right,
• 15:31
  Speaker 1: We're not holding onto the little things that we have
• 15:33
  Speaker 1: on this earth. You give to this ministry a man,
• 15:36
  Speaker 1: you can ask anybody. You give to this ministry. We
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: give back out to the community we help other ministries
• 15:42
  Speaker 1: and help other families get to a place of success. Amen.
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: Whether I'm successful in areas or not, that's not the case.
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: I'm not focused on what I'm getting now, Amen, I'm
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: focused on what I can give in so a seede
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: of eternal life and other families life. Ask somebody, if
• 15:59
  Speaker 1: you don't believe that in my life, people could testify
• 16:02
  Speaker 1: and so, yeah, he'll give because he was freely given,
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: so he freely gives out. And that's the way we
• 16:08
  Speaker 1: all should be as born again believers, because we don't
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: have a temporal perspective, we have any internal perspective. Therefore,
• 16:15
  Speaker 1: be not conformed to this fallen world, but be transformed
• 16:20
  Speaker 1: by the renewing of what's up here our mind. Yes, absolutely, amen, Amen.

  Speaker 1: And if God is speaking through me, Amen, it is
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: only because Holy Spirit is present, Holy Spirit is active.
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit is speaking, and you know we have to.
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: We could grieve the Holy Spirit first and foremost, and
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: we won't allow him to do what he's doing, Amen,
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: and our lives what he wants to do in our lives.
• 16:44
  Speaker 1: We could grieve Holy Spirit. I'm trying not to grieve
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit. I'm trying to move forward in the
• 16:49
  Speaker 1: things that he has, because if he has something good
• 16:52
  Speaker 1: for me, I know one hundred percent he has something
• 16:55
  Speaker 1: good for you. Amen. God is a good god, no
• 16:57
  Speaker 1: respect of persons. He's not going to do things only
• 17:01
  Speaker 1: for me that he won't do for anybody else. A man,
• 17:04
  Speaker 1: his word is open, it's an open test, is an
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: open book. Test a man read the word of God,
• 17:10
  Speaker 1: Test out the word of God. Apply the word of
• 17:12
  Speaker 1: God in your life, and you'll get this eternal perspective.
• 17:16
  Speaker 1: You won't want temporary things. You don't want quick fixes. Amen.
• 17:20
  Speaker 1: You don't want just happiness. You want the joy of
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: the Lord, which is our strength. By the way, you
• 17:25
  Speaker 1: don't want just happiness. And then if happiness is based
• 17:29
  Speaker 1: upon circumstances, if anything gets out of line in the
• 17:33
  Speaker 1: circumstances of your life or my life. Amen, Now we're
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: not happy anymore. If the kids are not listening, if
• 17:40
  Speaker 1: our marriage is not working, if the money is not
• 17:44
  Speaker 1: building up in our bank accounts. Right, if arguments that
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: we want to argue about we don't win. Now we're
• 17:50
  Speaker 1: no longer happy. But joy is everlasting. Joy is eternal.
• 17:55
  Speaker 1: Joy is what was given from the father above given
• 17:59
  Speaker 1: to his children. Amen. And the joy is our strength.
• 18:03
  Speaker 1: That's why, ladies and gentlemen, the devil, the enemy of
• 18:06
  Speaker 1: our lives, wants to attack our joy. He wants to snatch,
• 18:10
  Speaker 1: he wants to kill, steal, and destroy our joy. He
• 18:14
  Speaker 1: doesn't want us to have hope. He doesn't want us
• 18:16
  Speaker 1: to read the word. He doesn't want us to get
• 18:18
  Speaker 1: into congregations who are holy goes filled. He doesn't want
• 18:21
  Speaker 1: us to get around people who are positive. He wants
• 18:23
  Speaker 1: us to stay stuck and temporal thinking and temporary things
• 18:27
  Speaker 1: that don't manifest, nothing but pain and guilt and shame
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: and get us depressed and all that. He wants to
• 18:35
  Speaker 1: nothing good for me, nothing good for you. And newsflash,
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: he doesn't want anything good for those who serve him either.
• 18:43
  Speaker 1: He hates all of God's creation. So wake up, sleeper.
• 18:48
  Speaker 1: If you're in a congregation that bleeds doctrines of demons
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: and you're promoting all kinds of things that are false,
• 18:56
  Speaker 1: and you're unifying yourself with things that are not true
• 19:00
  Speaker 1: and things that are temporary and things that are not
• 19:02
  Speaker 1: pleasing God, run out of there. You're not living, you're
• 19:05
  Speaker 1: actually dying in a false religion. Get out of there, amen,
• 19:10
  Speaker 1: do it, for yourself, your family, your friends. Get out
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: of that situation and get connected to a Bible believing
• 19:17
  Speaker 1: fellowship that has an eternal perspective, and we believe in
• 19:21
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit.
• 19:25
  Speaker 1: God will guide you into the right path, in the
• 19:27
  Speaker 1: right direction, and will lead you into all truth and
• 19:30
  Speaker 1: teach you all truth and remind you of the Word
• 19:32
  Speaker 1: that has eternal perspective, that has eternity set. Amen, not
• 19:38
  Speaker 1: temporary things. Not temporary things. Those things are here today,
• 19:42
