Home for One Night
A hotel room begins as a completely anonymous space, yet within minutes our toothbrush is beside the sink, the charger is plugged in and our clothes are on the chair. Episode 276 reflects on how quickly we humans create territory and familiarity wherever we go. Then, just as quickly, we pack everything away and another stranger moves into the same space. Perhaps home isn't always defined by how long we stay somewhere. Sometimes it's simply the little rituals that allow us to feel, even temporarily, that we belong.
