- 0:10[SPEAKER_01]: And we're on.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_01]: This is the camp report for August the 10th, 2026.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: I believe this is 10 practices in here.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_01]: And not very eventful day, although they did, they were in pads.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_01]: Today was January of Sullivan's birthday.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_01]: Also in Nolan's birthday.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: So they share a birthday.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: Both of them in the front office, one in comms, one is the general manager.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: So have a birthday to them to both of them.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: uh... generic southern kind of did like a little off the record with with us those all in fun with with a couple of us in the media it was all in fun and you know a couple of observations observations he made that we're we can't report because obviously it was off the record it wasn't at the podium
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: But happy birthday to them today.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_01]: They were in pads and We were told it was gonna be a medium intensity practice and that makes perfect sense because tomorrow Is a travel day and they will practice tomorrow at 9.30 in the morning But I am pretty sure that that practice is gonna look like most of these practices on travel days, which is
- 1:21[SPEAKER_01]: a lot of walkthroughs, low intensity, you know, so on and so forth.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: On Wednesday is the joint practice with the commanders Thursday's day off game is on Friday.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a game week.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I'm going to run you through the roster as I see it, not the whole roster, but certain guys from certain positions to try to give you
- 1:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like a brief, you know, 30,000 foot overview of the team as of right now quarterbacks.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: Malik Wallace thought was a little bit inaccurate today in the team period.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: Mr.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: Couple of throws over the middle.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: Hi.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_01]: That's not good.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_01]: Especially, you know, if they...
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: If teams are playing a little bit deeper, there could be a guy just sitting there on a hash to pick one of those passes off.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was a little inaccurate on a couple of throws.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: Quinniers had a pretty bad day today, okay?
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, one series, which is completely forgettable.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: In the team period, they did a situation where the ball was on their own 40.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: When he was on the first pass, was an accurate on an out route, then he was an accurate to an open Taj Washington on a comebacker, and then on 3rd and 10, he inexplicably had no idea why the hell he would do this.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: He throws right to essentially what is the curl defender in Major Burns, who was run on the hash, like
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: There was a lot of color right there on the hash and I guess it's only the explanation could have been I was trying to throw it through major burns to the receiver So he throws it right at him and that's a pick Queenie wears out that struggled mightily today
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: running back solid Gordon had a really terrible rep at one point took a carry up the middle find a hole bus opened and then for whatever reason he started slowing down like the rep is over and good for the defenders I think it was Dodson who came up behind him and punched the ball out
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, finish your reps, man.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: There's no reason to be starting and stopping.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: I Didn't think he was particularly good today.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think J.L.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: Wright is coming on for RB2.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's had a very very good like last four or five practices.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: So good on J.L.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: Wright.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's been he's been pretty good.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_01]: Look, one guy of the Ry receiver court that continues to impress, I don't know you're going to think it's going to be cut up, Doug, there's no, although he has been impressive.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: AJ Henning keeps showing up.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: AJ Henning keeps showing up and showing up for all the teams.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: Today he ran a few routes with Malik Wallace as his quarterback.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: We shall see in these games.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_01]: Look, one thing you could say about AJ Henning, he's fast and he gets behind people.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_01]: So, as of right now, I don't know if they're going to, you know, if this is jumping the gun a bit, because there's so much football left.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: There's three preseason games left.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: There's, let me see where I tend.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: We are practice, we have nine full practices left, including two joint practices.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe I'm jumping in the gun a little bit, but he looks like a roster player so far.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Greg Dolcech had the ridgers off.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_01]: He has the white jersey on.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's practicing in full.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: Today, the Tadans were not of much note.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_01]: Greg Dolcech had a couple of catches on quickouts and flat routes.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: Of the offensive line,
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: Patrick Paul on the one on one with Chop Robinson look I think that this is a good thing all this competition all camp I think they're making each other better It could get testing today.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: It got pretty tasty chop beat him pretty good after on an inside move and then Patrick Paul after practices.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I slipped, you know It's you know the grass could get slick sometimes.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_01]: He just got beat
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: but on that rep he kind of grabbed chop and then just threw him with a ground and fell on top of him that you could tell that you know you try to get a little bit of a payback he gets up and chop his talk into him so I think there's very healthy competition between those two guys glad to see it moving on okay to the defense
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: Look, Maxwell Wellen and Mason Rieger, I kind of expected them to be in some type of battle this training camp and I hate to say that they've disappointed because one is a seventh rompick and one is a un-drafted free agent so like, you know, temper your expectations off, right?
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: But I did expect one of them to make a pretty big jump, at least by now.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_01]: Maxwell Wellen played well in the stadium practice on Saturday.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: I thought Mason Riga was really good today.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Today I think was his best day in all of Cam.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: As far as the defensive tackles, Zieg Bigger's continues to just flash day in day out.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: Zach Sealer was not available today.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_01]: It was not in practice.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: We weren't told anything before practice by halfly about Zach Sealer's absence.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess we shall see tomorrow to see what is up with
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: We did get some news, Zankenzala is on the entry front.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: Zankenzala is week to week.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: Cleveland Farrell is out for weeks, quote unquote, weeks.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: Juju Brands is out this week and Dante traders also out this week.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: But Dante trader and Juju Brands seem to be expected back for
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: next week.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: All right, um, uh, uh, the defensive tackles already mentioned seek figures.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: He was fabulous.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Jacob Rodriguez continues to impress on the of the linebackers.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: There was one playing particular round, uh, they threw that toss left to HN and the play was blocked perfectly.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: And if somebody gets out on Jacob Rodriguez,
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think H.A.N.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: scores from his own 30, 70 year touchdown.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: In this case, I can almost guarantee a 70 year touchdown.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_01]: But Jacob Rodriguez somehow is teleporting from his position where he's a fill linebacker, meaning he's directly lined up on the A-gap and he's getting all the way out there to make the tackle for a minimal game flashy play like those are the plays that you watching and you start thinking of yourself, yeah, yeah, this guy's a starter.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: like this is not a guy that you can keep out of the starting line up.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_01]: Defense backs, that Chris Johnson was really, really good today, really good today, and not tested a whole lot.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_01]: Ethan Bonner got a lot of run and did you print absence so you could do the math on that one.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Jason Marshall was picked on.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: Consistently today, but I thought he held up.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: I thought he held up for the most part.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think I think he was targeted I think I have him here Because I do keep this one two three four five times he was targeted on the outside So yeah, Jason Marshall.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: I thought held up a good day for the cornerbacks today
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: The safety's, you know, Major Burns makes another big play on a terrible throw from Queen Ewers.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: And final thing, on the specialists, Zengan Zales since he is weak to weak, you got to figure that that pretty much soes that up for Rally Patterson, right?
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like if you, if you have a place kicker that is weak to weak, what does that tell you?
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's no way he's going to contribute, right?
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like obviously what's going to happen now is that Riley Patterson is just going to have the job because actually available.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like place kicker is not a job where you could just take the week off and just come back speaking of which will let's.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you guys saw this but will let's is out for the Denver Broncos and in his place is Brendan Jones.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he legend.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: I mean dolphin legend, Brandon Jones.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, three for four in practice kicking no word on how far those kicks were.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: But that's, that's, that's kind of interesting because they only have one kicker on the roster and Brandon Jones is now the play skicker.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: So if they play the preseason game on Saturday and Will Luts is not available because they haven't signed a play
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: Then the place kicker is going to be ran in Jones, so that should be fun to watch.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we're going to go to break on the other side of the break.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: We will take your questions.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: But first, let me tell you about factor.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: They've been with us for a very long time.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: So sometimes you don't have the time or you just don't want to cook.

- 10:42[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, they're makes chef-crafted dietitian-designed, ready to eat meals.

- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Check those out.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: Those are really really good and very very healthy the portions are very very healthy And of course they have GOP one support meals if that's your thing.

- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: And we are back.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I'll take your questions now in the chat.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: First question is Willis's milk willus.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: But Willis's arm looking even better read that Travis say frozen rope two times and once on a hop, absolutely.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: Milk willus, like the ball just explodes off his ear.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: I was talking to Ojie McDuffie today and he made the same observation.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: And we were talking about another dolphin quarterback.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: damn marino and how the ball used to just explode off of his ear very very quick from tuck to the throwing motion.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: It's one thing about Malik Wallace.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: His motion is throwing motion is not exaggerated.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: His mechanics are nice and tight which makes for a very quick release and yes like I said the ball just explodes off of his ear.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: Big arm by Malik Wallace.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: uh next question proctor and paul update well you heard about paul uh his daily battles with chop robins and i think are making him better hidden proxxers pretty steady been pretty steady all camp
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then there's a comment there that says Travis also said that J. Rod seems to teleport at times and is giving us a giving you Zack Thomas vibes.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm the one who used to turn teleport on in my three yards per carry feet, so you could go check that out.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, is he giving Zack Thomas vibes?
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, he kind of is.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_01]: It has a really good player.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's precisely the guy that we saw in college.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: My value was completely wrong because I had him as my third fill linebacker.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_01]: Before it's all said, I need to be done with two and who knows.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he's number one because the guy that got taken first out of all the fill linebackers might play several positions.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: Next question.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: hadn't read uh... nope that's not it let me get another question here calab killed down to see better each day up or down yes today there was a bit of a dispute i was talking to somebody i thought that they threw him an encut and it got broken up at the hands by even boner on a really good play uh... somebody else told me that they saw another angle of it and it was just a drop in traffic like you saw
- 14:30[SPEAKER_01]: He saw color coming from from a defender and Ethan Bonner and that he just dropped it lost concentration and dropped it.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: So I got to see it maybe it's a different play so I got to go check yeah I got to go check the alt-22 the Tommy and High Elliott dropped and once I checked that out then I'll be able to tell you exactly what happened.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, next question.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: How much of a concern is our edge unit, especially now that we know Cleveland Farrow will be out a few weeks.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, concern for the edge unit.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I kind of like the top two guys.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: Man, you need, I think somebody else to to emerge.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think that a job who has been very, very quiet this camp.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: I've been expecting a lot of Mason Reager.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: He finally had a really good day today.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I like to see a little bit more as it stands right now.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_01]: I, I think Robert Beal Jr is going to make the team.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, they're pretty thin, like you can't take an injury to one of the top two guys.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_01]: You take an injury to one of the top two guys, you're really, really going to be feeling it.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Going forward.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: Next question, any Ali and Wright separation?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I would say so.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: Last four practices, J.L.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: Wright has been clearly better.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: And Ali Gordon has had some bad moments here in the last couple of days.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Who knows?
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: the early dog days of training camp and maybe he's going to turn it back on once games and joint practices begin which begin on Wednesday.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: So we shall see if he turns it around.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: I've said it a bunch of times, I like this top three, the top three running backs.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: I like what we have.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: in that room.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Next question today, Omar, meaning Omar Kelly said that Carlos Washington could be running back too.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: Has he been more impressive than Gordon and or right?
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's been impressive, but he's doing it, you know, against inferior competition.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_01]: then write or, or Ali, write or Ali are actually playing against, and I can't tell you who's on which team, but they're playing mostly against ones and twos, while Carlos watched his playing against a lot of threes.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think that he's a threat for our B2, but he's been pretty good.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: I like Donovan Edwards as well.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: They have a very nice running back group.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: But judging by what they're going to have to keep tight end and wide receiver and of course they're going to keep a full back.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: I believe so I think these Germans are going to make the team.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: If they do all of those things then I think they're carrying only three running backs and then they're going to put one on the practice squad.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_01]: So it's going to be tight for those guys to make it on.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, next question based on his production during training camp this far.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: What's your best guess for Caleb Douglas's stat line this coming season?
- 17:25[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: It really depends on Chris ball, right?
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like if Chris ball is, you know, playing for the entire season, if he comes back for the regular season for week one, you know, those targets could be stretched a bit thin.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: Remember, Malik, Malik, Washington is going to come and target.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_01]: So it's great.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_01]: So an impressive 52 catches for 680 yards and 4 touchdowns, something like that.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: A season that's going to have us pretty jazzed about next season for Caleb Douglas.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_01]: If Chris Ball is not available, I wouldn't put a pass Caleb Douglas to hit 800 yards as a rookie.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: Next question is QB2 for 2026 currently on the roster.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not so sure.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm really not so sure.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: Now.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_01]: they can easily start to season and when you were is the start, I mean at the start, the, the, the, the cubitum, okay.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then they add somebody at the cut down date or from a practice squad.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden, by, I don't know, weeks six or seven, you know, they're making him the active quarterback on the roster on game days.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: But let's just hope that Malik Willis is healthy for all 17, because Malik Willis misses a single game that I don't see how they have any chance in any game that he misses.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_01]: Um, next question, did any cornerbacks step up today with Brent's out with injury?
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, the Ethan Bonner thought Ethan Bonner was pretty damn good today.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I thought he made a couple of plays.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_01]: Although there's one play that is in dispute, whether he made the play or it was just a drop in traffic.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: I thought he made a play because he had his hands there at the catch point.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I thought he played right through his hands.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: Next question.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: You've said, Chris Bell gives you
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, which established receiver does kill Douglas Ramonio.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good good question.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like I'm trying to think right Look, I know that's gonna freak some people out, but Mark has well this can't link the best of Mark has well this can't link.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now if you want somebody who's really really good Somebody puts in the chat.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Chocinco.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, not a Chocinco
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I just think it was a little bit more technical technical and kale Douglas kale Douglas is, you know, it's like a freakish athlete guy runs sub for four and it's six three all of six three and two hundred and six pounds so I'm trying to think.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like what is he.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I want to say Jamison Williams, but is that a little bit too rich for your blood?
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: Jamison Williams of the Troy, is that a little bit too rich?
- 20:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, is that just a little bit too rich?
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's pick-ins because pick-ins, I think, are stronger at the catch point than Caleb Douglas's.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I want to go with James some Williams, because he even has the same issues that James Williams has has with lapses and concentration.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I want to go with James some Williams.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: next question and would bell Douglas and Belique would be good why we say we're good for the season yeah if they're all healthy right like we need Chris Paul healthy yeah and he's not you know he's he's not suited up for practices yet he's suited up to be working on the side like he has his jersey on but he hasn't had his helmet with him you know which means he's probably not ready to contribute this week or maybe the the coming week but i'm pretty optimistic for
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, next question is Caleb Douglas like any classic Miami-wide receiver.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like any classic Miami-wide receiver.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: Another guy, another Williams, Mike Williams back from the day in the early 90s.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: Guy was pretty fast.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and could get it in the at the catch point.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_01]: If you want a high end one, how about Tony Martin?
- 22:00[SPEAKER_01]: If you want a high end receiver to to compare them to, I'll just go, I'll go there.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'll say Tony Martin.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: Next question.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: Right, uh, tight end will cast American.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is going to be the last question.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be the last question.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_01]: Rank tight end will cast American on the nasty scale.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: One through 10.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
