- 0:00Speaker 1: Rezagraph with you with another edition of Unleashing Kingdom Voices.
- 0:04Speaker 1: This is part two, with Alana van de Venter.
- 0:07Speaker 1: If you didn't listen to part one, I bet you, after you listen to this part two, you're going to want to go back to Monday and listen to part one.
- 0:16Speaker 1: But this is part two amazing place to divide.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Now Alana is with Dr Caroline Leafs and she's a neurofacilitator.
- 0:26Speaker 1: If you follow Caroline Leaf, okay, you know she uses the tree analogy.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Well, listen to this.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Alana is not even with Caroline Leaf and something amazing happens.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Tune in.
- 0:40Speaker 1: This is part two, with Alana van de Venter, guiding faith driven women to voice mastery and mind transformation.
- 0:50Speaker 2: This is a bonus.
- 0:51Speaker 2: I don't know if it doesn't make sense, but I know who knows what this means and so I printed it out.
- 0:58Speaker 2: It was a tree, ah, and the tree had the roots Interesting.
- 1:05Speaker 1: A brain Unbelievable.
- 1:09Speaker 2: And I printed it out.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I had no idea what it meant in that season when I was holding onto it.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Unbelievable.
- 1:18Speaker 2: And what happened is I eventually created the revive method because I felt like that's what happened in my life.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:27Speaker 2: It was a revival from the inside out.
- 1:29Speaker 2: It was like I was, I flatlined in my own life.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Okay, I stepped in in that moment of surrender.
- 1:37Speaker 2: You revived me.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Okay, and who knows, when, your husband?
- 1:42Speaker 2: This is a journey of healing.
- 1:43Speaker 2: That happens after that, yeah.
- 1:45Speaker 2: And so I started the revive method because I knew that, I knew that, I knew that God is, god is the way, and I was just acting out of obedience.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Sure.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 2:01Speaker 2: I always say, when I started the revive method and this is for someone, okay, when I started the first week, I only had the first week planned.
- 2:10Speaker 2: It was a six week program, it's a way to do it actually.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Because we often build something for ourselves and people's needs, yeah, and so I only had that was real obedience and my faith.
- 2:27Speaker 1: No doubt.
- 2:28Speaker 2: So I had people signed up, that's great.
- 2:29Speaker 2: But I only had the first week planned out.
- 2:32Speaker 2: It's okay, I don't think that is crazy, but I tell you, when you let God, you step away from self and you let God, more of him, less of yourself, create a totally different program Because you can know what they they get on that first one.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Then you can like okay, I'm going to meet their needs instead of wasting all your time building this course.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I've been there with my Academy courses Then this is great.
- 2:59Speaker 1: This is why it's not mine, because you did it for yourself, silly.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Why don't you just do one chapter and then see what that means?
- 3:06Speaker 1: Yes, your marketing brilliance that it was deposited in you is actually starting to flourish, even back then.
- 3:14Speaker 2: It was back then, but I didn't see it Right.
- 3:16Speaker 2: It's getting better Again.
- 3:17Speaker 2: We God allowed me to see the first step because he knew if he shows me more I would be like there's no way, because already there was resistance and everything was on the highlight reel of what could go wrong, oh gosh.
- 3:33Speaker 2: This is a bad idea.
- 3:33Speaker 2: You're going to die.
- 3:34Speaker 2: You're going to die you really, it felt like I'm going to die Every time we put ourselves out there.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It's a natural, normal, human response.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I love that one.
- 3:46Speaker 2: I don't have evidence that what we are about to step into is me, and so we don't understand.
- 3:54Speaker 2: We don't have any evidence that we can survive this because our we are designed.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Our brain and our mind is designed to keep us safe.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Amen.
- 4:05Speaker 2: But it can't differentiate between life threatening and just newness, unfamiliar.
- 4:11Speaker 2: So, it might feel in your body that you are about to die, but it's just because you don't have evidence.
- 4:16Speaker 2: It yeah.
- 4:17Speaker 2: So that is when I don't want to be fearless.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Right.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Fear can kind of help.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Tell us how fear can actually help us.
- 4:24Speaker 1: By the way, there have been so many times when I'm doing something and then along his voice you're not going to die to your rings.
- 4:33Speaker 1: That is a good motto.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I always get the rips in.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Get the rips in when you die.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It happens Every time.
- 4:42Speaker 2: We do something, that is one you've never done it.
- 4:45Speaker 2: You feel called to do it, but you haven't done it yet.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good, and I'm speaking here from my own journey as well.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You will have a highlight real and resistance expected.
- 4:59Speaker 2: Yeah, because, like I said, what happens internally?
- 5:02Speaker 2: Just on a scan, you don't have evidence that you can survive this new thing.
- 5:07Speaker 2: There's no possibility, so unfamiliar.
- 5:11Speaker 2: But what happens when you get the rape in?
- 5:14Speaker 2: Now you've done it, you've got free feedback.
- 5:18Speaker 2: You've done it.
- 5:19Speaker 2: You've got a rape in.
- 5:20Speaker 2: But, most importantly, you've actually built that evidence into your brain that you can survive this.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Now, all of a sudden, it feels like life is threatening.
- 5:30Speaker 1: And you can let fear help you.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I know my coach, Jen Gottlieb, always talking about fear the way you do.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Hey, I've decided to put fear in the front seat with me.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Tell us about that.
- 5:41Speaker 1: Good reasons of the right kind of fear.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Can I say it that way?
- 5:46Speaker 2: Yes, fear is when I shifted my perspective regarding fear and became my best friend.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It became that hug Geez, that's so radical.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Fear became I care for you.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Wow, it didn't become.
- 6:04Speaker 2: You shouldn't do it anymore.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Hold on.
- 6:07Speaker 1: You got to say that again.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I mean, there are people who fear the man.
- 6:10Speaker 1: They say fear, oh, I got to be fearless.
- 6:11Speaker 1: And they get all these triggers.
- 6:13Speaker 1: But look and listen to her talk about the way If fear was not.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I mean, fear is part of living life, it's part of the resistance.
- 6:24Speaker 1: But tell them again how fear cares for you.
- 6:29Speaker 2: I use.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I'm gonna go back to you now.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I use fear as my guide and it became my best friend, because if it's not present then I'm busy doing it.
- 6:40Speaker 2: To-do list.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Oh, interesting, I never thought of it that way, but that's true.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I mean, it's another way of saying that, okay.
- 6:47Speaker 2: So fear the way I.
- 6:49Speaker 2: What changed fear for me?
- 6:52Speaker 2: Because I also had the T-shirt, I also had the journal the fearless, fearless.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I'm still waiting for that day.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Oh, what happened is when I shifted my perspective regarding that feeling, that emotion which I labeled as fear, it became something completely different.
- 7:14Speaker 2: It became my companion, it became my guide, it became caring.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Wow, fear is caring.
- 7:20Speaker 2: I just wanna keep you safe.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Wow, that's.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Someone needed that.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I needed to hear that again.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 7:29Speaker 2: It's an incredible guide that we can use.
- 7:32Speaker 2: And then, when we start building a set confidence, confidence loop, when we go out and we do something, I remember and I think I told you this numerous times I remember doing my first speaking engagement and I swear people could hear my knees knocking.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I was so scared, yeah, yeah, but it was because in my body it's like I'm gonna die.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I'm gonna die Because I remember, I have a core memory of standing up in the class at grade two and I'll have to do this sums again.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Grade three, oh wow.
- 8:15Speaker 2: And one I have to read in English.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Now, if you know my background, I come from a very small town.
- 8:23Speaker 2: We only speak English and use English for self defense, which was not really needed at that stage.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Okay, and so English was not something that I really spoke.
- 8:33Speaker 2: So I had to stand up and I remember I lost control of my body.
- 8:39Speaker 2: I had, like, my face shaking.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I could not control my breathing.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I sounded like I was weak.
- 8:50Speaker 2: I ended up pronouncing snout as snot.
- 8:56Speaker 1: I bless you.
- 8:57Speaker 2: I'm not laughing, You're laughing because it's so funny.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Oh my God.
- 9:02Speaker 2: I end then to now speak in front of people.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I did it with that feeling present and now, when I do feel it every time, I say yes and I run an opinion and I have these opportunities to speak.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I see it as excitement.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I saw on video one time when you were speaking and it was so powerful, I mean, and you can speak and share your emotions to represent where you're at, and it just connects the audience.
- 9:35Speaker 1: And you said it.
- 9:36Speaker 1: One line that I just resonate with, but I think I'll pass on saying it.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It's one thing we know about in common.
- 9:44Speaker 2: What it was.
- 9:45Speaker 2: We have to say, god, we do things.
- 9:47Speaker 2: We are not just another podcast.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yes, the hell, I want to mentor lives, oh gosh, and why not?
- 9:55Speaker 2: What did I say?
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you her husband's alive and mine's not.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Well, I want to take him out.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I know he didn't die because of me.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Oh yes, that was way, way years ago, and when I wanna share that story I'm like, okay, that's just yet another thing we have in common.
- 10:13Speaker 2: That was in the season of when I was in that dark soil.
- 10:16Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was my dark, dark, dark.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So I'm just saying I can, it just was nice to have.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Oh, you thought that too.
- 10:23Speaker 1: I, I'm laughing at healing.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Please hear me.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Hear me say that you shared that and that preaching and that and I just about fell out of my I think I was driving about.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I had to pull over because I was laughing so hard and she's like, and there's evidence that's my husband in the back.
- 10:42Speaker 2: He's alive and I'm not in jail.
- 10:44Speaker 2: For those of you that don't know the story, I think we should go there too.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 10:47Speaker 2: you tell it's your story when I felt removed and worthy and loved.
- 10:53Speaker 2: I'm seeing all of the wonderful emotions that I felt during the season when.
- 10:58Speaker 2: I was suffering from depression.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I wanted to kill my husband and when I say I wanted to kill him, I'm not just saying it because I felt like it, but I actually had it all planned out and because he, I felt he is the reason why I'm not where I thought I should be would be by now in my life.
- 11:17Speaker 2: So I remove him.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Because I tried divorcing him and then plenty man didn't want to do it.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I was like no, I'm just going to get rid of you.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I can see your husband moves.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Not going to happen, girl.
- 11:31Speaker 2: My six foot six has six foot six.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a little husband.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I the only way I could do it is while he's sleeping.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Otherwise, I mean, there's an unfair advantage there.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Now someone's going to relate to that.
- 11:43Speaker 1: Okay, so they're like, hey, I can relate to that, but the beauty, we're not against the covenant of marriage, we're not against men, but go on, because the beauty of your and from that point to your beautiful marriage, now it's just like sounds like you had to go through the wilderness.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I he's still alive.
- 12:03Speaker 2: That's the beauty of it, he's alive he's alive, he's survived.
- 12:09Speaker 2: I never ended up doing it because God stepped in knowing the plans he's got for us and so.
- 12:16Speaker 2: But that's you know, I wanna.
- 12:20Speaker 1: I think, is you know we're laughing about it, but I think it's so good that you're that vulnerable because you know the pathway and now you're teaching the pathway to healing.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And can I just say this Someone in counseling might really hate me you counseling sometimes doesn't get you to that side.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Sometimes you can go to years of counseling because you gotta deal with the neurons and the trant and your newer plus SSD.
- 12:50Speaker 1: I know I went to counseling after Dave died and it was like, oh, it's okay and she's ready to release me.
- 12:57Speaker 1: And I'm sitting here flailing, not knowing I'm really flailing, until I met Elana and all this and I did the app Dr Caroline Leafs app.
- 13:09Speaker 1: I'm still doing the app.
- 13:10Speaker 1: That's like, oh, this is, I get to change the way I look at things.
- 13:16Speaker 1: I get help.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You know, believe me, the first few episodes with Elana on Zoom, she was like whoa.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I mean, she was trying to unwrap all this drama and I'm probably flailing all over the place.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Sometimes I still do, but I digress.
- 13:30Speaker 1: But anyways, I just had to say that because, look, you didn't go through.
- 13:35Speaker 1: You didn't go through marriage counseling.
- 13:37Speaker 1: You didn't go through all this counseling.
- 13:39Speaker 1: You got elected to do one of the most amazing things, and that's neurocycle and helping people.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Huh, it's the gain.
- 13:51Speaker 2: The Holy Spirit guides us.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Yes, and we also have to be in tune to hearing.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Okay, I remember I didn't, and I always share this because I just want to be completely honest and transparent that everyone inside Africa knows about Dr Caroline Leafs like she's a household name.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Right, right, I did not.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I've never read any of her books until I went for the training, but I've never read any of her books.
- 14:23Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I was totally unaware of the work she's doing.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Okay, and I just want to say her marketing team is absolutely incredible, because someone that is very doesn't even I don't think I was even subscribed, so I'm not sure how it all happened.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Okay, Happened.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Maybe my husband did.
- 14:45Speaker 2: He was like she needs this.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Do you wonder if he did something Cause?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Tell me, what did you get in the mail?
- 14:51Speaker 1: I?
- 14:51Speaker 2: got the email that said that she's opening up training, Okay, and I was like this is weird, why would I be getting this?
- 14:59Speaker 2: And I still?
- 15:00Speaker 2: I should still ask my husband maybe I would love to know.
- 15:03Speaker 2: No, I wouldn't, I would probably.
- 15:07Speaker 2: It's still a great start.
- 15:09Speaker 2: I would probably say it again.
- 15:10Speaker 2: But what happened is I received this email and I was like no, I was still operating, Relynda from that.
- 15:15Speaker 2: What also happened during the revive is I, the revive.
- 15:19Speaker 2: There was a beautiful gift that came out of the revive.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Okay, I noticed that there's still a gap between where they are and where they want it to be.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Okay, and in the revive method, we even had, we had affirmations, we had prayer, we had prophetic word, we had all of it breathing, we had visioning, vision, vision, visualization in one container.
- 15:46Speaker 2: But the beautiful gift that came out of the revive method is that I could identify that there's still a gap, not just looking at myself as well.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Why do we sit in rooms with the door open?
- 16:00Speaker 2: Why are we in a mental, a mind prison if we know that we can simply choose to step out?
- 16:08Speaker 2: And so that was that awareness was already there, and so I received this email.
- 16:15Speaker 2: I deleted it and not two days later, one day, receiving another email, and I was like I'm not qualified, qualified, capable or deserving of even applying.
- 16:27Speaker 2: But I ended up, the Holy Spirit really put it on my heart and I put it on the side.
- 16:31Speaker 2: You know, those open tabs, one of the open tabs forever.
- 16:34Speaker 2: A couple of days later it's still there and I felt like the sprunting to apply.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Okay, and I ended up doing it.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Short story long, story short.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I got approved, so good.
- 16:48Speaker 2: And I remember the day I walked into that room and there was activists and people.
- 16:56Speaker 2: That is way more qualified than Anna from the small town in.
- 17:00Speaker 2: I started with my boss, way more qualified.
- 17:05Speaker 2: I didn't even go to study anything.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I walked in there.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I did do pre-studies meanwhile, but it wasn't.
- 17:14Speaker 2: I didn't go to university.
- 17:15Speaker 2: And so I was measuring again, measuring myself yeah, these people, I'm not enough, so I'm not measuring up.
- 17:22Speaker 2: And I walked in today and I had a nitrogen coffee the morning after.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I had a nitrogen coffee.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I could not it was either the coffee or just the nerves.
- 17:36Speaker 2: But I literally bounced into that room and I walked in there and I was just like what am I doing?
- 17:43Speaker 2: Oh gosh, bless you.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember speaking to Mac Dr Leaf's husband and I was sweating.
- 17:50Speaker 2: I was sweating and then they asked us to introduce ourselves.
- 17:56Speaker 2: I didn't even know what I said.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Oh dear People don't know what I said.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I threw up for a minute and I ended up.
- 18:06Speaker 2: It was the first thing that I won To heal myself, helped me to transform myself, and also that I saw through.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I said something and I finished it Because I also had a belief that I'm a quitter.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Wow.
- 18:26Speaker 2: And it was the first thing that I managed to see through and I received my healing from a deep, deep root.
- 18:36Speaker 2: I found my origin story, which blew my mind.
- 18:40Speaker 2: That belief that I'm not enough was not even linked to the brain injury that I had at a young age, but it was actually something that happened that was related to my father.
- 18:50Speaker 2: My dad is still my year up to this day, but my dad had to leave for training and that moment that he lived as a three-year-old I took it as I'm not enough for him to stay.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Oh jeez, that's so deep.
- 19:04Speaker 2: That was my origin story, but years after that, the brain injury was my.
- 19:09Speaker 2: It was we all started.
- 19:11Speaker 2: No, it was my dad, and then I was able, through my journey of healing that, seeing it that he never had lived because of me.
- 19:19Speaker 2: He wanted a better future for us.
- 19:24Speaker 1: That's powerful.
- 19:27Speaker 2: But I didn't know it until I actually were able to go through this very, very deliberate mind management, able to go into my unconscious mind and was able to see the roots and the story and all the embedded memories and I was able to deconstruct it on a deep, deep level and read that and then reconceptualize and stabilize and grow this new belief which I'm now receiving evidence of.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Yeah, so you in the process of medicogging and stuff.
- 19:58Speaker 1: Was it like one day it hit you or was it like a series of days?
- 20:03Speaker 1: Like wait a minute, this is leading me somewhere.
- 20:05Speaker 2: It was a I and that's what it's so powerful.
- 20:09Speaker 2: When we stick to the cycle itself of three days, we create an automated habit, not in three, one days, but 63 days.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Yes, thank you, my, I found some of my Argent story.
- 20:26Speaker 2: It was a journey.
- 20:27Speaker 2: What's beautiful is that I pleased you on this journey and you're able to go deeper.
- 20:33Speaker 2: And what we are trained as neuropsychophysilitators is we help you to get to the deeper and also to deconstruct on a deeper level and also reconceptualize, especially some days that we can feel stuck Like healing is almost like a wound.
- 20:52Speaker 2: See the your wound and see the stitching.
- 20:56Speaker 2: When you do stitching on a wound, this like a up and a down.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Are you saying a wound Like a wound?
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm down.
- 21:06Speaker 2: You know me and my very random.
- 21:08Speaker 2: Well, no, I love it.
- 21:11Speaker 1: I just have to make sure you say wound and not womb.
- 21:12Speaker 1: No, not womb Wound.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Sorry guys, you just got to deal with me Interrupting your all the time.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Accent, my accent is a little bit I love your accent.
- 21:25Speaker 2: There is so a wound, so you healing that wound.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Okay, healing is not linear, it's not standard, and that's why the one size fits all approach is so not working.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's like ups and downs, and so when we are down we almost feel like it's we hopeless and lost.
- 21:47Speaker 2: And so the beauty of being a neuropsycho facilitator, I can help.
- 21:54Speaker 2: you see that the down is needed for the stitching that needs to happen and we able to see it for what it is.
- 22:02Speaker 2: And then also the Holy Spirit.
- 22:04Speaker 2: This, this we are able to utilize the guidance from the Holy Spirit, thank you.
- 22:10Speaker 2: We we are able to question the questions we ask ourselves, the way we are able to manage our minds.
- 22:16Speaker 2: It's just a beautiful journey that helped me and that's why I believe in it so much.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I've walked it and that's why I talk it and I love it.
- 22:27Speaker 1: You know, I like how you bring the Holy Spirit in, because you could get real science.
- 22:31Speaker 1: I mean, there's, there is a definite science to this.
- 22:34Speaker 1: But I got to say something.
- 22:37Speaker 1: You know, I tried the neuropsycho app in 2021, maybe because I had the trauma still alive but I couldn't.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I couldn't understand what she was saying and then maybe it was just a block, because I was in the midst of the cacophony and I'll never forget, even now, like I've gone through it and and even now it's like Alana, it's making sense.
- 22:58Speaker 1: I know what she's saying.
- 23:00Speaker 1: So maybe you know that's why Alana's not here to get clients.
- 23:04Speaker 1: She's probably stuffed with them.
- 23:05Speaker 1: That's why I really think, personally, you, you, you need the app and you just need someone basically to take your hand and say and just ask the questions that bring up the stuff.
- 23:17Speaker 1: So, like this is like my second round, and every meeting we've had it's been like major, like oh, didn't think of that, or oh, you know, for me it was like a high that is so fricking right.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I what I love and I found.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I feel like it's finding me more and more and more as.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I journey and I and I get this, this desire to do it more and more and more, which is obviously there, it's in me, to guide me, to be a compass, and so I'm digging into this.
- 23:50Speaker 2: What does God really want me to do?
- 23:52Speaker 2: I feel this, this I love simplifying things.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I think this, this just because we can do hard things doesn't mean everything we do needs to be hard.
- 24:02Speaker 2: Oh, wow, and I love simplifying things, and so that is something that I feel is is really that I enjoy is taking the science one, linking it with scripture and then simplifying it in a way that it that it makes sense, because I remember, while I was signed up to go and I was on the plane and I was like I just need to read this book, she's probably going to ask us questions, and all the signs.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I did not understand the word oh, bless you, bless you.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I now I know it, yeah, but it's and is simplified.
- 24:40Speaker 2: When you can't speak, dr Leaf, there's no one that can speak, dr Leaf, or as fast, as she can speak.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Yes, but I love that.
- 24:49Speaker 2: I understand what she's saying now, but I can simplify it.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Because I had to first simplify it for myself.
- 24:55Speaker 1: I appreciate that personally because, like I said, I couldn't understand it and then you simplify it.
- 25:00Speaker 1: One more subject before we get you out the door love and leave you.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I would like to touch on this because you can just go into this neuropsychal process and I think I have a lot of women entrepreneurs who listen, a lot of women that really want to find their voice in their business, and obviously you may not have evidence of what you want.
- 25:23Speaker 1: So you go into the gratefulness and the thankfulness mode, but can you share it a little bit?
- 25:28Speaker 1: You actually shared a lot at the last session and it was so good and it had to do.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Please share again the fuel that drives the mission.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Like you really want to go for it.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And you know I can tell you all, I'm honest, this once we went through that, I felt like a leaf came off of me.
- 25:47Speaker 1: All of a sudden.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm here doing the things I need to do.
- 25:50Speaker 1: You know, message here.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Oh hey, let me help you here.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I mean, I never had that kind of activity and, who knows, I might have been just caked in the trauma.
- 25:57Speaker 1: But you said sometimes resistance is a sign of you going in the right direction.
- 26:06Speaker 2: It's you that you're going in the right direction.
- 26:10Speaker 1: And then talk about the mission, where that deep down you go towards the mission and the money takes care of itself.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Yes, I remember I started over in my entrepreneurial journey.
- 26:26Speaker 2: I just kind of make it for free.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I'm just gonna give it away.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I just want to give it away, I just want to give everything.
- 26:32Speaker 2: And at one stage my husband asked me are you running a nonprofit or are you running a business?
- 26:38Speaker 1: Oh, right to the point.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Let me take a picture of that.
- 26:42Speaker 1: The problem was not.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I wanted to offer everything for free because I believed that what I have to offer was not valuable.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Oh, and no one will buy from me.
- 26:57Speaker 2: That's why, if we want to change anything in our business, we have to address our minds.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Our mind drives our brain, thank you, I'm saying that as well.
- 27:05Speaker 2: We have to address the belief behind it.
- 27:08Speaker 2: We have to address our thinking regarding it to see the change that we desire, any feeling or accomplishment we aspiring to.
- 27:17Speaker 2: That missing piece is our mind.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Wow, what happens is that I had to first get out of other people's wallets I'm going to say that again.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Say that again Out of other people's wallets.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Oh, come on.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Ok, just a sec, let me unpin myself.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Ok, you can go on.
- 27:42Speaker 2: I've heard that lecture guys, I was like no, they can't afford it.
- 27:45Speaker 2: No, no, they think, oh, if I ask this, then I won't be able to afford it.
- 27:50Speaker 2: And I was just so worried about other people's money that it was keeping me from making decisions.
- 27:58Speaker 2: That was honoring the value that I have to offer.
- 28:01Speaker 2: And so we let the mission feel that's it, Let the mission of serving others.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I have to say in my office, it's not about you.
- 28:18Speaker 2: That is my driving, my fuel, that knowing that, even when I feel like not showing up, it's not about me Because someone needs me.
- 28:32Speaker 2: Someone out there feels the way I felt six years ago.
- 28:36Speaker 2: That's right, and so it's not about me, and I will continue to run in obedience with the light.
- 28:42Speaker 2: The light is the ceiling on our dreams, with the light in my heart serving daily.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Even if one person shows up, it's.
- 28:54Speaker 2: If I can reach one person today, that's beautiful.
- 28:58Speaker 1: That's enough.
- 28:58Speaker 1: You know it's not about me.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I believe that wholeheartedly for many years.
- 29:05Speaker 1: But I heard something recently by this really godly coach.
- 29:10Speaker 1: I see him on TikTok and I'm about.
- 29:12Speaker 1: He about pulls me over every time.
- 29:14Speaker 1: But he said something okay, it's not about me, but as you walk in that healing, as you walk in, you okay, and all you're really thinking about is serving people.
- 29:23Speaker 1: He said in my experience I've learned that people don't sign up with me because of my product or my service.
- 29:31Speaker 1: They sign up because of me Me.
- 29:33Speaker 1: When he says me, he means the healthy whole me.
- 29:37Speaker 1: It means authenticity.
- 29:39Speaker 1: It means yeah, if I gotta get some healing because I've got some jacked up stuff, I'm gonna get healing.
- 29:43Speaker 1: And what that does, it takes the pressure off thinking, oh, I got something, they gotta have it.
- 29:48Speaker 1: No, you just show up in your authenticity and know it's not about you and what that does for me personally I'm speaking from personal interest it really does flip to what can I do to help them?
- 30:02Speaker 1: I've been there or they need finances.
- 30:05Speaker 1: So can I get excited, not about the company, but excited about that.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I understand them and hey, do you trust me?
- 30:12Speaker 1: And then I wanna speak in my own language.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I don't wanna speak in the company's language, I don't wanna speak in my coach's language.
- 30:18Speaker 1: I wanna speak in my language, meaning my tone, my style.
- 30:21Speaker 1: So it frees you up.
- 30:23Speaker 1: I hope someone's catching that that.
- 30:25Speaker 1: No, okay?
- 30:26Speaker 1: Well wait.
- 30:26Speaker 1: So you're saying it's not about me.
- 30:28Speaker 1: Yeah, when I say that, if it frees the authentic me, not the one who's like, listen guys, if you got a credit card to pay off and you're trying to sell something, they can smell it down the street.
- 30:40Speaker 1: You got, that's what you've got to just say, hey, it's not about me, it's not about my credit card, but the mission I have is about you, cause I wanna see you whole.
- 30:50Speaker 1: I wanna see you going in your God-given design and I wanna see you get on that millionaire momentum, cause it is about you.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Is that what I?
- 30:59Speaker 2: thought that around the outcome.
- 31:01Speaker 2: I think the obedience is our responsibility, the outcome is God, Thank you.
- 31:05Speaker 2: So the people, I think, when it's I love that you said that, because when we say it's not about me, I think there's also a part of us that is not unringed to self.
- 31:16Speaker 2: But it is that thing that you, when you make it about you, you are so worried about how you look.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Sure, and this is something that might be under your eyes and your circles under your eyes and it's the.
- 31:30Speaker 1: You're so worried about yourself that you are not yourself and they can spot that in a mile a minute and so it is.
- 31:38Speaker 2: When we say it's not about you.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I think we speak into what we have to offer Wow, that's so good, because what we're serving others with is the water and that is not about you, cause they might not be thirsty.
- 31:53Speaker 2: They might not be thirsty and I also wanna leave them with this.
- 31:56Speaker 2: The way you perceive what you have to offer is super, super important, because a lot of the times we are fearful of rejection.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Say, for instance, you come to visit me and we know this is regarding your offer.
- 32:13Speaker 2: Right, you know you did.
- 32:14Speaker 2: You know that.
- 32:15Speaker 2: You know this can quench someone's whatever desire or what they need in their life.
- 32:21Speaker 2: You know it can help them.
- 32:22Speaker 2: I know that.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I know that.
- 32:23Speaker 2: I know that NeuroCycle can help you to take back control of your thoughts and your life.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I know I have it's water.
- 32:30Speaker 2: So when you see it as you offering water to someone else and that is not about you, that's when we say it's not about you, it's good, it's helpful, it's not.
- 32:41Speaker 2: The arrow is outwards facing and not inward.
- 32:44Speaker 2: So when you come over for a visit and I'm like T, do you want some water?
- 32:49Speaker 2: And you're like, no, thank you, I'm good, I don't see it as you are actually rejecting me, right.
- 32:57Speaker 2: You are rejecting the water, right, you might have had a Starbucks coffee and a water on your way to my house.
- 33:08Speaker 2: And so it's not that fear of rejection.
- 33:12Speaker 2: When we view it from a different perspective, we can one.
- 33:17Speaker 2: I love celebrating anyone that's able to make a decision.
- 33:21Speaker 2: That's freedom, yeah.
- 33:23Speaker 2: And secondly, it's not about me, right, it's not a rejection of me.
- 33:30Speaker 2: So I think it's super important that when we serve, that when whatever we put out there, not making it your identity, not putting your all in there, because then often we feel rejected when we receive a no, I celebrate every no.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but you did offer it.
- 33:48Speaker 1: You had the.
- 33:48Speaker 1: You still have to go through.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I have something to offer, so you can't be all tied up into what people think.
- 33:54Speaker 1: So you offered it.
- 33:56Speaker 1: They weren't Thursday.
- 33:57Speaker 1: It's not about me, I didn't know.
- 34:00Speaker 1: We went this long and I'm.
- 34:01Speaker 1: We are like way into the hour mark, not way, callie.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Thank you, alana, you gave us so much value.
- 34:12Speaker 1: We'll have to do a part two, sister.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 34:14Speaker 1: We'll do that and I appreciate that you ended on that, because that was what I heard from you a year ago, jessica Shikers.
- 34:21Speaker 1: You shared that analogy and I was like, wow, that's it.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Besides everything that you shared a lot and I was just like, who is this person?
- 34:30Speaker 1: I started following her on Instagram and now I'm blessed.
- 34:35Speaker 1: She has been a reason for my healing.
- 34:37Speaker 1: So, if there's any testimony, so, alana, what's the best place people to get a hold of you?
- 34:42Speaker 1: Probably Instagram.
- 34:44Speaker 2: They can find me on Instagram or they can find me on my website.
- 34:48Speaker 2: I'm pretty good with Instagram.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Please don't DM me on Facebook.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Yeah, she won't see it.
- 34:58Speaker 1: I'll go on Instagram and it's AlanaVe DeVenter on Instagram.
- 35:02Speaker 1: So just so you know, you got to put the it's not.
- 35:04Speaker 1: She marks out that, van, and I think I put it in the show notes too.
- 35:13Speaker 1: So she has a great website.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Finally, alanavedeventercom.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Finally.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Finally I think that's another subject for another day I think we need to focus on the business cards and the websites Just to get the emotion of putting ourselves out there.
- 35:31Speaker 2: It's a health prevention problem.
- 35:33Speaker 1: We need to have a business one, because so many women could just really benefit.
- 35:37Speaker 1: I'm sure they did at the end.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Mental it's not just tell us about our mental life that we do weekly.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Yeah, so once a week, t and I do a mental life and we call it not just another IG live, because we get wild and free, because that's who we are and authentically ourselves.
- 35:59Speaker 1: We get kind of silly.
- 36:00Speaker 1: We get our dogs and once my cat and we have so much fun.
- 36:05Speaker 1: I'm serious, we have fun, but there's still amazing value.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I just host it and try not to make Alana laugh.
- 36:14Speaker 1: So there's some key nuggets, some golden nuggets in it, but while we're having fun, we should Be sure to follow Alana if you're not following her, because she's real good about letting you know and then you always can go to her wall and watch some of our past ones.
- 36:30Speaker 1: I did that the other day.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I was looking for something.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I don't remember that and I sat there and just listened to it.
- 36:35Speaker 1: It's just like, oh, I forgot about that.
- 36:39Speaker 2: OK, there's going to be a good one, a good theme for how to start your day before you do anything, because this, if you want a morning routine that is needed for any other activity morning routine that you've seen out there, this is the one step that you have to take before you do.
