Michelle Harris: We are finally at the end of season three, Secret Lives and Mormon Wives. We're not there yet. We still gotta get through it. Yeah, but we're here. This is the last episode. Mat: Made it. We're not there yet. We're not there yet. We still gotta get through it. Yeah, but we're here. This will last thank goodness. Michelle Harris: We have arrived. Some big announcement from Hulu this week that season five will be dropping September tenth. Mat: geees, that's in like two weeks. Michelle Harris: So Yeah, we don't have much time and the reason I noticed it was because when I went to go watch the next episode the photo changed. Mat: okay. Michelle Harris: And that only usually happens when they renew the season. Like it's the most recent season's photo. So I saw that the photo had changed and Mat: So I saw that the photo had changed. Michelle Harris: I'm like, wait, let me Google like it's season five and then sure enough that like nine hours before that I had sat down to watch it, they announced September tenth. No. Unfortunately we are not. However, Mat: so we are not gonna get through season four before five comes out. Michelle Harris: even with them filming season six, it is only gonna be a five episode arc, so it's gonna be half of the season right now. So I think we'll be able to get there before six comes out. I would hope so if you're just filming that. Yeah. So we'll get through four. I'm still really excited. I kinda thought maybe like we'll power through four a little bit, Mat: So it's gonna be half of this season right now. So I think we'll be able to get there before six comes out. I would hope so if they're just filming now. Yeah. Yeah. So we'll get through four. I'm still really excited. I kinda thought maybe like we'll power through four a little bit. Michelle Harris: but I've been looking forward to this season so I don't think I wanna power through it. So what is four? Is it ten episodes again? Yeah. Ten episodes, no reunion. No reunion. Okay. Mat: And what is four? Is it ten episodes again? Yeah. Okay. No reunion. No reunion. Okay. All right. Cheese. Well All right then. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. Well So do you wanna give a quick recap of last week? Mat: Yeah, it's gonna be quick again 'cause we're doing the let's marry Harry stuff in there. We got a lot going on. so Michelle Harris: Yeah, we do. So Mat: season three, episode nine. They were all the girls were Michelle Harris: Yes. They were all the girls were Mat: on their press tour doing all their different things. The only thing that really stands out to me in this episode there's there's two things that I really remember. Michelle Harris: Mm-hmm. Doing all their different things. The only thing that really stands out to me in this episode is there's two things that I really remember. Mat: One is Whitney and Taylor going on Jimmy Kimmel live. And Michelle Harris: One is Whitney and Taylor going on Jimmy Kimmel Live. And Mat: you said they were like really they kinda like were really bonding. Whitney's like, I'm so glad that like I'm here with you and Taylor's like, I'm like nervous as hell. Like and then they kinda hashed things out, I guess. You know, they're happy, you know, I think they they wanted Michelle Harris: You said they were like really they kinda like were really bonding, Whitney's like, I'm so glad that like I'm here with you and Taylor's like, I'm like nervous as hell Yeah. And then they kinda hashed things out I guess. You know, they're happy, you know, I think they they wanted yeah their friendship to be healed and I think it kinda seems like it is. Yeah, it's getting there. they were joking around having fun. Mat: their friendship to be healed and I think it kinda seems like it is. Yeah, it's happening. they were joking around having fun. and then the other thing is the Dakota Taylor's mom thing and I guess they had called this woman and were asking her questions because Michelle Harris: And then the other thing is the Dakota Taylor's mom. And I guess they had called this woman. and were asking her questions because Mat: Dakota's story like wasn't lining up with what Jesse knew from what he told Jordan, I guess, and and then this lady, it sounded like was just like denying everything and lying and and it sounds like it was pretty bad. but they're, you know, trying Michelle Harris: story like wasn't lining up with what Jesse knew from what he told Jordan, I guess. And then this lady, it sounded like was just like denying everything and lying. Yeah and and it sounds like it was pretty bad. but they're, you know, yeah. Mat: to not she's lying. Dakota's not telling the whole truth. And that's really all I remember. is there anything major like before those things that more in the beginning of the episode? no, some things that carry into this episode is just kind of Whitney really wanting to be a part of getting the girls back together. Press had just made her realize that they build this big thing, but yeah, yeah, they're all separated. and I think the girls overall Michelle Harris: That's really all I remember. is there anything major that were in the beginning of the no, some things that carry into this episode is just kind of Whitney really wanting to be a part of getting the girls back together. Press had just made her realize that they built this big thing, but yeah, they were there all separated. and I think the girls overall started seeing Mat: started Michelle Harris: the other side of Whitney besides she's Demi's friend. So even with like the Miranda texts and stuff, so they're like coming like everything's slowly coming around at this point. yeah, and this was where like in the beginning they w the entertainment tunnel eater. Mat: the other side Whitney besides she's Denise's friend. So with like the Miranda and stuff. So they're like coming around like everything's slowly coming around at this point. yeah, and this was where like in the beginning they were was this the entertainment tonight or entertainment Michelle Harris: Yeah. Mm-hmm. Mat: that was that interview where you had said that like the edit for the show made it look a lot worse than it really was. You'd watch the full interview. there's still same like Michelle Harris: said that like the edit for the show made it look a lot worse than it really was. Yeah. Yeah. I mean there were still the same like there are still the same tensions that they showed. They just made it seem a lot worse, especially for Jen, even though that's still like really the way she talks and like how she like approaches situations. Like makes me uncomfortable. But Mat: There were still the same tensions that they showed. They just made it seem a lot worse, especially for Jen, even though that's still like really the she talks and like how the situation that makes me uncomfortable. Yeah. But Michelle Harris: yeah, so there's still those th it was the same, but it was just edited to make it seem like it was much more dramatic. So yeah. Right. So Mat: yeah, so there's still those it was the same it was just edited to Yeah, yeah, I mean, yeah, it's more dramatic, it's for the T V. It's it's for the show. So all right, well, if there's nothing else, then let's move on to the final episode. Yeah. Yeah, so Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. So episode ten of season three is called The Book of Enlightenment. Okay. So we start back at Taylor's mom's house, so they're on the phone with this friend. Yeah. Yeah, we it's been like the Jump drama. Yeah. out on it and starts back out on it, yeah. Mat: Episode ten of season three is called the Book of Enlightenment. Okay. So we start back mom's house, so the phone with right back into it. That's been like the end of every episode. The past few has been like the Taylor Dakota drama. Cuts out on it and starts back up on it. Yeah. Alright. So this friend denying everything. Michelle Harris: So this friend is denying everything. Taylor's mom starts saying, You should have never sent that photo. That was so inappropriate. And as her friend's agreeing, like, yeah, I probably shouldn't have, she continues to say, I actually wish you would have sent that to my husband instead of to my own daughter's boyfriend. And Taylor's face is like, What? What the fuck? She shouldn't send it to anyone. Mat: Taylor's mom starts saying, You should have never sent that photo, that was so inappropriate and as her friends agreeing, like, yeah, I probably shouldn't have she continues to say, I actually wish you would have sent that to my husband instead of to my own daughter's boyfriend And Taylor's face is like What? What the fuck? Michelle Harris: Taylor's mom's friend then says that she has to run to an appointment and Mat: mom's friend then says that she has to run to an appointment and Michelle Harris: quickly gets off the phone. Taylor in an interview says that after stagecoach she had a tiny sliver of hope, but now she just feels foolish. She says her entire family hates Dakota now and there's no coming back from this. Mat: Okay. Taylor in an interview says that after Stagecoach she had a tiny sliver of hope, but now she just feels foolish. She says her entire family hates now and there's no coming back from this. Yeah, I would hope not. So whereas before, like her family kind of still gave them grace, still wanted work it out because of Ever. Yeah, yeah. Kind of just Taylor's thing, now all of them are reaping Dakota's bad like finally realizing it and Michelle Harris: Yeah. So whereas before like her family kind of still gave him grace, still wanted them to work it out because of Ever. Yeah. And it was kind of just Taylor's thing. Now all of them are reaping Dakota's bad like judgment. Yeah. Mat: seeing it, so okay. Michelle Harris: Taylor's sister comes home and says that she dropped Dakota off from Taylor's house and Dakota was telling Aspen, her sister, that he thinks that there's still a chance and that they can get there. Mat: Taylor's sister comes home and says that she dropped Dakota off from Taylor's house and Dakota was telling Aspen, her sister, that he thinks that there's still a chance and that they can get there I don't think so, pal Aspen and Michelle Harris: So pal. Aspen at this point is like, dude, move on. Right. Mat: Right. Michelle Harris: Taylor says he always makes it feel like it's her fault. And Taylor's dad says, well, yeah, that's what narcissists do. Yeah. So at this point her whole family says she deserves so much better and happiness. Mat: And Taylor's dad says, Well, yeah, that's what narcissists do. Yeah. So at this point her whole family says she deserves so much better happiness. Michelle Harris: And her mom, though, during all this is like suspiciously quiet. I don't know if she's still like digesting like her all the stuff with her friend, but I mean that's a lot to take in. Is she Mat: suspiciously quiet. I don't know if she's still like digesting her friends. Right. I mean that's a lot to take in. She also Michelle Harris: still hopeful that her and Deco because she is so religious, is she like still hoping that they make it work, even though with all this like I don't know what her feelings are but her dad and her sister want her to move the fuck on. Like they're like, Yeah, we gotta we gotta keep it moving. Mat: hopeful that her and dec because she is so religious that she's gonna make it work even though with all this like I don't know what her feelings are okay, yeah. But her dad and her sister want her to move the fuck on. Like they're like, yeah, we gotta Yeah, that's fair. Yeah, definitely. The intro plays and when we come back, Jimmy is called Michelle Harris: The intro plays and when we come back, Jimmy is calling Whitney to wish her happy birthday. She then says that she wants to debrief past the weekend. Like, girl, like call her tomorrow if it's her birthday. Like happy birthday. But also, can we talk about me now? Mat: She then says that she wants to debrief past the weekend. Like, girl, like call her tomorrow if it's her birthday. But also can we talk about me now? Yeah Michelle Harris: Ha ha Mat: D me, me, me. Michelle Harris: That's a good one. Whitney asked Demi how she's feeling, and Demi says that press was horrendous, and she feels like the girls were being so bitchy to her, Mat: So bitchy to her. Michelle Harris: and she's feeling ostracized from the group, and the girls were so cold to her during press. She in an interview said overnight she became this liar and this villain. and in the interview she's crying and very upset. So Mat: upset. So I was thinking about this because why is she wanting to talk to the girls? Yeah, she wanted she didn't want anything to do with them. Like she left. Michelle Harris: I was thinking about this because why all of a sudden is she wanting to talk to the girls, get over this? She didn't want anything to do with them, she just wanted to come back to say her truth. Season two had premiered. And so she is getting public feedback now from her performance in season two. So she's seeing the writing on the wall that people don't like her. Okay. Mat: okay. All right. So she's seeing the writing on the wall that people don't like home. Okay. And I feel like now she's trying to Michelle Harris: And I feel like now she's trying to be smart about what her next moves are. And so I don't know. I was like I was sitting there, I'm like, I wonder if the season two premiere, because now all of a sudden she's like, We gotta get this group back together. We gotta we Mat: Be smart what her next moves are. Yeah, yeah, probably. And so I don't know, I was like I was sitting there, I'm like, I wonder if the season two premiere because now all of a sudden she's like, We gotta get this group back together Michelle Harris: gotta work together. We all have to take accountability and all this stuff. So anyway, Whitney tells to me that it took her Coming from a vulnerable place for her to understand Demi. Demi references the fact that Taylor always says that with fame comes a price and you have to be willing to be vulnerable and let people in for them to understand where you're coming from. Demi in an interview says that she is jealous of Taylor and the grace that she receives while going through hard stuff and she feels like she hasn't been given the same understanding. She feels like it could be because she hasn't been as open and she suppressed a lot of that. Mat: For her to understand Denis. Demi references the fact that Taylor always says that with fame comes a price, and you have to be willing to be vulnerable and let people in for them to understand where you're coming from. Denis in an interview says that she is jealous of Taylor and the grades that she receives while going through hard stuff, and she feels like she hasn't been given the same understanding. She feels like it could be because she hasn't been as open and she suppressed a lot of that. Okay. Whitney asks. Michelle Harris: Whitney asked Demi if she would be willing to meet with the girls and put this all to rest and Demi agrees. Okay, interesting. So we go to the Mat: Okay, interesting. So we go curious to see how this'll go. Michelle Harris: So we go to the Jay Z Academy Grant opening event. So Jesse's Jiz Academy? Yeah, the Jiz Academy school. So they are Mat: The Jiz Academy? Yeah, the Jiz Academy. Wow. my. Michelle Harris: opening a brand new academy. Jesse says that when the Marciano scandal came out, she was so nervous that it was gonna ruin her reputation, business, and potentially Mat: says that when the Marciano scandal was so nervous that it was gonna ruin her reputation, business, and potentially cost people their jobs. Michelle Harris: cost people their jobs. Mat: wow, yeah. I mean she has a lot to handle and like if one thing goes bad she gets cancelled and then like every her shit, like that affects a lot of her employees. Yeah, definitely. She says that she Michelle Harris: I mean she has a lot to handle and like if one thing goes bad and she gets cancelled and then like everyone boycotts her shit, like that affects a lot of her employees. Like that's a big thing to realize. Right, right. She says that going through this she has realized that, owning her mistakes and willing to grow and learn from them, the people that you love will stick around and you'll be forgiven. Okay. Essentially, and everyone can move on. All the girls do show up to the grand opening, including Whitney, but Dimmy is not there. Okay. Mat: She says that going through this, she has realized that owning her mistakes and willing to grow and learn from them, the people that you love will stick around and you'll be forgiven. Okay. Essentially. Yeah. All the girls do show up to the grand opening, including Whitney, but Demi is not there. Okay. Whitney says that she feels like she has imposter syndrome and is wondering if she's supposed to be there. She says she loves doing stuff with the girls and reminds her of why they started mom. Michelle Harris: Whitney says that she feels like she has an imposter syndrome and is wondering if she's supposed to be there. She says she loves doing stuff with the girls and reminds her of why they started mom talk to begin with. Mat: Yeah, yeah. Michelle Harris: So Whitney at this event sits down with Jen and asks her if she would be willing to have a conversation with Demi. Mat: So Whitney at this event sits down with Jen and asks her if she would be willing to have a conversation with Didn't meet. Okay. Jen, I'm Michelle Harris: Jen, I'm Mat: so confused by it because I never saw Whitney and Jen have a conversation for them to be good, but now all of a sudden Jen's willing to talk to Whitney and seems friendly with her. Okay. Michelle Harris: so confused by because I never saw Whitney and Jen have a conversation for them to be good, but now all of a sudden Jen's willing to talk to Whitney and seems friendly with her. Okay. Mat: But at Miranda's birthday party she was sitting there and saying that she thought Whitney was fake and that their friendship wasn't real and that she was only doing it to get back into mom talk and this conversation's going nowhere I'm gonna leave. Michelle Harris: But at Miranda's birthday party, she was sitting there and saying that she thought Whitney was fake and that their friendship wasn't real and that she was only doing it to get back into mom talk and then she was like, This conversation's going nowhere, I'm gonna leave. And now she's okay with Whit like I I get so like confused about Yeah. Jen and like where she stands and like Mat: And now she's okay with w like I I get so like confused about Yeah. Yeah where she stands and like it just seems so wishy washy and just like with the group without like I don't know. Yeah, that is interesting. Michelle Harris: It just seems so wishy washy and just like with the group without like I don't know. I w whatever. Mat: Maybe maybe maybe they made up and it just didn't make the show 'cause they're gonna be doing dancing with the stars together. Maybe. I don't know. Michelle Harris: Maybe. I don't know. It was weird. Jen says she felt Like Whitney was seeing what they were seeing during the reunion and then it's now a complete one eighty. Whitney says she can understand that, but she also feels like no one has tried to understand Demi's side. Jen says Demi has never heard anyone else out, so why would they do that in return? Yeah. And Whitney says she feels like life is too short and then Jen says, Yeah, I agree, life is too short to deal with other people's shit. And then it goes to Whitney in an interview and she's like, Mat: Like Whitney was seeing what they were seeing during the reunion and then it's now a complete one eighty. Whitney says she can understand that, but she also feels like no one has tried to understand Denise's side. Jen says Denise has never heard anyone else out, so why would they do that in return? Yeah. And Whitney says she feels like life is too short, and then Jen says, Yeah, I agree, life is too short to deal with other people's shit. Right. Right to Whitney in an interview, she's like Michelle Harris: damn it Mat: So she's saying, Man, I'm striking out. Yeah, yeah. Whitney then asked Macy and Taylor. Macy says after the reunion she saw the side of Whitney that she became friends with to begin with. she said it warmed her heart to see Whitney and Michaela hug it out. Macy says she's willing to hear Whitney out for the greater good. Okay. Michelle Harris: So she's like, Man, I'm striking out over here. Yeah. Whitney then asked Macy and Taylor. Macy says after the reunion she saw the side of Whitney that she became friends with to begin with. she said it warmed her heart to see Whitney and Nikayla hug it out. Macy says she's willing to hear Whitney out for the greater good. Okay. Mat: Taylor asked what Michelle Harris: Taylor asks what Demi's Mat: agenda is. Whitney says that she thinks Demi just wants to feel heard, and Macy says Demi is just really good at digging herself out of a hole. It seems like Macy and Taylor are willing to hear Demi out, however Taylor says to Whitney that if they don't hear any accountability, they aren't going to continue the conversation with her. Okay, yeah. Michelle Harris: agenda is. Whitney says that she thinks Demi just wants to feel heard and Macy says Demi is just really good at digging herself out of a hole. It seems like Macy and Taylor are willing to hear Demi out. However, Taylor says to Whitney that if they don't hear any accountability, they aren't gonna continue the conversation with her. Okay, yeah. We go to Taylor's house. Ever's just sitting in a do you know what a bumbo seat is? Yeah. Yeah. So he's sitting in a bumbo seat on her tailor and then she goes, Do you wanna play catch? She just starts throwing like one of his toys to him. And then he's like chucking it on the other side of the room. And I was like, This is interesting. I've I don't think I've ever played catch with a baby, but Mat: We go to Taylor's just sitting in a do you know what a bumbo seat is? Yeah, yeah. So he's sitting in a bumbo seat on her tailor, and then she goes, Do you wanna play catch? She just starts throwing like one of his toys chucking it on the other side of the room. And I was like, This is interesting. Alright. I don't think I've ever played catch with a baby, but Taylor's mom comes over and Taylor wants Michelle Harris: Taylor's mom comes over and Taylor wants her mom to review the papers for the mediation for custody. Taylor's mom says she's proud of her for taking the step and finally setting this boundary. So now we finally Mat: Taylor's mom says she's proud of her for taking the step and finally setting up now we finally Michelle Harris: do hear she is like, Okay, we need to set this boundary with him. Clearly it's not working out. Mat: boundary with him clearly as she asked Taylor if she is still gonna do the baby blessing. Taylor says she would like to, but Dakota won't it. So in the church you need the father to sign off on the blessing. okay. And that's Michelle Harris: She asked Taylor if she is still gonna do the baby blessing. Taylor says she would like to, but Dakota won't approve it. So in the church you need the father to sign off on the blessing before it can happen. And that's because the men hold the priesthood in the Mormon church. So you can't really do anything without a man's approval. Mat: Yeah. Michelle Harris: Taylor tells her mom that Dakota isn't even filming right now, and he's telling Taylor that he is refusing to film if they bring this story up at all. Dakota was telling Taylor that they could have handled this privately and said, You didn't have to do this. Sir, you did this to yourself. Yeah, yeah. And then you told your best friend, who your best friend is the one that brought Mat: said you didn't have to do this. Sir, you did this to yourself. Yeah. Yeah. And then you told your best friend who your best friend is the one that brought Michelle Harris: it up on camera. So this isn't even like Taylor's fault. Like literally Jordan and Jesse brought it up Mat: So this isn't even like Taylor's fault. Like literally Jordan and Jesse brought it up. Brought it up. Michelle Harris: and then brought it to Taylor's attention and then you're now saying to her, We could have handled this privately and you don't want your shit. And and also this is the fourth girl, so you had one girl and then there's two others Mat: We could have handled this and also this is the fourth girl, so you had one girl and then there's two other Michelle Harris: that she handled privately with you. And now this is the fourth. So you already got your grace. What? Like Mat: Yeah, yeah, dude. Yeah, you're John man. Michelle Harris: God ew. We go to a place we haven't seen in a while, Swig. Swig. Mat: Swig, yeah. We haven't really heard much about Swig or dirty sodas in general. Yeah, so Macy and Whitney They grabbed some dirty sodas together. Nice, nice. They had the the dirty sodas at the Orioles game. Yeah, we should have tried them. And then Steve sent us was that yesterday, he was at Pri Manny Brothers and they have dirty sodas there now. They're taking over. I think like Taco Bell, Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. So Macy and Whitney are meeting up at Swig. They grabbed some dirty sodas together. Nice, nice. They had the the dirty sodas at the Orioles game. Yeah, we should have tried them. And then Steve sent us was that yesterday? It was at Zandy Brothers. Yeah. They have dirty sodas there. Yeah. They're taking over. They're taking over. Like Taco Bell. Mat: McDonald's. Michelle Harris: Maybe this is like the biggest contribution the Mormon wives have given to society's dirty sodas. Yeah, we were talking about the other day too, like sorry to get off topic. No, it's fine. But like the dirty sodas, like especially at like a bar. Yeah. Like it seems like the younger generations aren't drinking as much. No, they don't have like the mocktails and now you have the dirty soda. Yeah. Which I at a bar where a bartender's making it, like they can probably charge like eight to ten bucks for that. Mat: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I mean we we were talking about the other day too, like sorry to get off topic. No, it's fine. But like the dirty sodas, like especially at like a bar. Yeah. Like it seems like the younger generations aren't drinking as much. So you have like the mocktails and now you have the dirty sodas. Which I at a bar where a bartender's making it, like they can probably charge like eight to ten bucks for that. Michelle Harris: Probably. It costs them like a dollar fifty to make. I think for a dirty soda, eight to ten bucks is still I mean that's steep. I'd say seven to eight. Okay, still. It's a lot of money for, you know. Yeah. Something that's pretty simple. So Bring your own Mat: And it cost them like a dollar fifty to make. I think for a dirty sound is still I mean maybe eight. Okay, still. It's a lot of money for, you know something that's pretty simple. So Michelle Harris: cream and you can spike it and then you just have to pay for a two dollar soda. B Y O C O C Little Little Flask of Cream. Mat: you b Y O C a little little Maybe that's what the Mormons are doing, carrying around their cream flask. Anyway, let's get back to back on topic. Michelle Harris: Good old cream flask. Mat: Yeah, maybe I mean that's a like an insulated like flask. Keep it cold. Yeah. We're on to something. We could market that. Yeah, Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. Awesome, we can market that. Yeah, we should, we should. Mat: we should. We Alright, so Macy and Whitney says that people look Michelle Harris: All right, so Macy and Whitney are going to meet up. Whitney says that people look up to and will listen to Macy. She wants to get Macy's opinion on what this conversation with me would look like with the other girls. Whitney suggests to Macy that they have a testimony meeting since it seems like all the girls have something to say. Mat: To get Macy's opinion on what this conversation to me would look like with the other girls. Whitney suggests to Macy that they have a testimony meeting since it seems like all the girls have something to say. Michelle Harris: And Macy at this point's like, God. And so Whitney explains Mat: And Macy at this point's like, god and Whitney Michelle Harris: that in the church they have testimony meetings where people freely and willingly speak their peace. And while someone is on the stand speaking their peace, the congregation isn't speaking back. She says, Honestly, that's what we need in this group because everyone needs to shut the fuck up. Everybody gets a lot of their part. Yeah. Yeah. Mat: And willingly speak their peace. And while someone is on the stand the congregation She says we need in this group because shut the fuck up. Everybody gets to say their part without everybody else yelling and talking over. Yeah, yeah. Macy says she's worried because the girls feel very strongly, and Macy is worried that if this intervention Michelle Harris: Or talking over, confronting. Macy says she's worried because the girls feel very strongly and Macy is worried that if this intervention doesn't go well, things will get more hostile. Yeah. Whitney says, Let's just hope Jesus is in the room with us and Macy says, then I'll let you lead the prayer at the beginning. Mat: Get more hostile. Yeah. Whitney says, Let's just hope Jesus is in the room with us. Michelle Harris: And Whitney says, I don't think we need a prayer. We may need a seance. Mat: Ha ha ha. Michelle Harris: We go to Jessie's house and Jordan comes over, so their ninety day separation is over and they are making a decision on whether or not they are going to stay together. Jesse says that she is nervous and not sure if she's fully settled in her decision yet. She says prolonging the separation though isn't gonna do much. She says that not gonna get clarity unless they try one way or Mat: Stay together. Jesse says that she is nervous and not sure if she's fully settled in her decision yet. She says prolonging the separation though isn't gonna do much. She says that they're not gonna get clarity unless they try one way or another. Michelle Harris: another. Mat: Okay. Jordan says to Jesse that the ninety days has made him realize how much he loves her, and he wants to make it work. Okay. This isn't out of necessity, but truly work. Michelle Harris: Jordan says to Jesse that the ninety days has made him realize how much he loves her and he wants to make it work. Okay. He says this isn't out of necessity but truly what he wants. Okay. Mat: Okay. Jessie tells Jordan that she has been in limbo for quite a while and her biggest fear is that they return to what it was in the past. Yeah. Jordan says he feels like he's faced what he needed to face and he's hit it head on. Okay. We didn't spend ninety days. Michelle Harris: Jesse tells Jordan that she has been in limbo for quite a while, and her biggest fear is that they return to what it was in the past. Yeah. Jordan says he feels like he's faced what he needed to face and he's hit it head on. Okay. It's like, dude, it's been 90 days. Like you can't say, like, yeah, I I recognize that and I'm working on it. Like, no, I've I've faced what I need to face and I'm we're good. Ready to go. We're good. Mat: Ready to go. Yeah. Jordan says that after his first marriage so he's explaining in an interview kind of like what some of his issues were. He says after his first marriage ended in divorce, he felt broken and unlovable. Michelle Harris: Jordan says that after his first marriage so he's explaining in an interview kind of like what some of his issues were. He says after his first marriage ended in divorce he felt broken and unlovable. He said he then started to control everything he could so he wouldn't feel like that anymore. Mat: He said he then started to control everything he could so he wouldn't feel like that anymore. Okay. Jesse says that if they continue to put in the work, she's willing to give it a chance. She says that she does see Jordan making the changes, and she's also more understanding of where he's coming from now that they've been doing therapy and she understands about him becoming a dad at eighteen and then getting married really young and all that stuff. Okay, yeah. Michelle Harris: Jessie says that if they continue to put in the work, she's willing to give it a chance. She says that she does see Jordan making changes and she's also more understanding of where he's coming from now that they've been doing therapy and he she understands about him becoming a dad at eighteen and then getting married really young and all that stuff. Mat: She wants to see if those changes can be long lasting, and Jordan says he's willing to work through those. Michelle Harris: She wants to see if those changes can be long lasting, and Jordan says he's willing to work through those with Jesse. Jesse asks if he's ready to move back in, and Jordan says he's over the moon. After that, they switch gears and conversation a little bit, and Jesse says that the work that they've done in therapy is gonna help her going into this mom talk intervention. Mat: with Jesse. Jesse asks if he's ready to move back in, and Jordan says he's over the moon. Okay. After that they switch gears and conversation a little bit and Jesse says that the work that they've done in therapy is gonna help her going into this mom talk intervention. Okay. Jordan says it's tough because of what Denise did and all of it was disgusting. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Jordan says it's tough because of what Demi did and all of it was disgusting. Yeah. So we go to the intervention and Whitney and Demi are walking in hand in hand. Demi says Macy and Whitney worked their magic to get everyone into a neutral space. So they're like meeting at like Mat: So we go to the intervention and Whitney and Demi are walking in hand in hand. Demi says Macy and Whitney work their magic get everyone into a new meeting out like it almost looked like a apartment building common area. Okay. You know my national common area? Yeah. Those rooms with couches in it. Yeah, yeah. Michelle Harris: It almost looked like a apartment building common area. See, like you know my Nashville common area, how they had like those rooms with couches in it and like, you know, fridges and you could like use those. It looked like that. Okay. Mat: It looks like that. Okay. Interesting. Michelle Harris: Demi says that she is hopeful since the last time they all talked was at Jesse's house for the Whitney vote and Demi wants to get back to loyalty, love and friendship. Mat: Says that she is hopeful since the last time they all talked was at Jesse's house for the Whitney vote, and Demi wants to get back to loyalty, love, and friendship. Okay. At this point, Macy and Taylor show up, and Demi pulls Taylor aside for a one-on-one chat. Demi ends up apologizing to Taylor for how hard she Michelle Harris: At this point Macy and Taylor show up and Demi pulls Taylor aside for a one-on-one chat. Demi ends up apologizing to Taylor for how hard she was on her. Demi says that she took a lot of what she was going through and kicked Taylor while she was down. Mat: Demi says that she took a lot of what she was going through and kicked Taylor while she was down. Demi said she was generally hurt by the CMA post. She said how she handled it though and the way she spoke to Taylor's mom was not okay, and she apologizes for that and she does want have a conversation with Taylor's well. Okay, interesting. Does she seem sincere in all this? Yes. Okay. Yeah, to to the Taylor point, yes. Okay. Michelle Harris: Demi said she was generally hurt by the CMA post. She said how she handled it though and the way she spoke to Taylor's mom was not okay, and she apologizes for that. And she does want to have a conversation with Taylor's mom as well. Okay. Interesting. Does she seem sincere in all this? Yes. Yeah, to to the Taylor point, yes. Okay. She does go on to say that she was hurt in Taylor's emotional unavailability on her end. Okay. And she was hurt because she felt like she reached out to Taylor multiple times and never got anything in return. So she thinks a lot of those posts and comments about Taylor were rooted in her frustration and resentment towards Taylor because she didn't think that she was being a real friend. Mat: Okay. And she was hurt because she felt like she reached out to Taylor multiple times and never got anything in return. So she thinks a lot of those posts and comments about Taylor were rooted in her frustration and resentment towards Taylor because she didn't think that she was being a real friend. Okay. All right. So in an interview, Demi says that this situation made her realize how much her childhood shaped her. Okay. She goes on to explain that her brother has Down syndrome, so she lived in a very glass s like the perfect child with all the attention and then she was kind of in the shadows. Okay, yeah. Demi says that since her brother needed so much attention and that she didn't get anything, it caused a trauma response. Michelle Harris: So in an interview, Demi says that this situation made her realize how much her childhood shaped her. She goes on to explain that her brother has Down syndrome, so she lived in a very glass like the perfect child with all the attention and then she was kind of in the shadows. Demi says that since her brother needed so much attention and that she didn't get anything, it caused a trauma response. She said it triggered all the belief that she wasn't good enough or worthy of friendship. Mat: She said it triggered all the belief that she wasn't good enough or worthy of friendship. Okay. That's why she needs so much attention now. That's what she says like so throughout this whole episode, to me Michelle Harris: That's what she says, like so throughout this whole episode, Demi brings up a lot of past trauma that she's working through, but doesn't really get specific on what that is. And the one thing she does get specific on and opens up about is the fact that her brother has Down syndrome, which we hadn't heard of until now. Mat: She doesn't really get specific on what that is. Okay. And the one thing she does get specific on and opens up about is the fact that her brother has Down syndrome, which we hadn't heard of until now. Right. Michelle Harris: And so she's saying that through her self work she realized that growing Mat: And so she's saying that through her self work she realized that Michelle Harris: up and not getting the attention she probably needed because her brother needed so much attention, it caused this trauma response when people don't give her enough attention that she's not worthy and that she's not Okay You know, yeah a part of the friendship or whatever. So Mat: and not getting the attention she probably needed because her brother needed so much attention, it caused this trauma response when people don't give her enough attention that she's not worthy and that she's not Okay, you know, yeah a part of the friendship or whatever. Right. So while I understand you being hurt and, you know, feeling not good enough Michelle Harris: While I understand you being hurt and, you know, feeling not good enough, I don't think that's ever an excuse to then turn around and be like downright mean towards someone. No, not. And so while Mat: I don't think that's ever an excuse to then turn around and be like downright mean towards someone. Yeah. No, definitely not. So while you Michelle Harris: you can be hurt and have your feelings and maybe you don't want to be friends with them or, you know, how you handle it, but going online and like literally calling her nasty names like that's like that's a whole different like that. Mat: Right, right. Yeah. Michelle Harris: That is you showing your true colors. Like how you handle situations and how you handle your response to situations, like that's what shows your col like true colors. Yeah. And so I don't know. I had while I sympathize with her position and she is trying to be more open so people can have an understanding of where she's coming from, I think she has a long way to go still. Mat: your response to situations, like that's what shows your colo like true color. Yeah. And so I don't know, I had while I sympathize with her position and she is trying to be more open so people can have an understanding of where she's coming from, I think she has a long way to go still. Okay. And that's just my opinion. Yeah. Yeah. Like even Michelle Harris: And that's just my opinion on this whole like even like going through the rest of the episode. Like I I just think Demi ha still has a Mat: Okay, all right. Michelle Harris: lot of work to do on herself, personally. Taylor ends with saying she does appreciate Demi's apology and at the end of the day, she can attack her all day long, but when it comes to her mom, that's a whole different story. Right. Okay. Taylor in an interview says she hopes Demi's apology is sincere. Mat: Taylor ends with saying she does appreciate Denise's apology and at the end of the day she can attack her all day long, but when it comes to her mom, that's a whole different story. Right. Okay. Taylor in an interview says she hopes Denise's apology is sincere. Miranda and Layla show up. Layla says she ha has nerves about this because the last time she saw Denise they were yelling at one another. At that influencer event. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Miranda and Layla show up. Layla says she ha has nerves about this because the last time she saw Demi they were yelling at one another. At that influencer event? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it Mat: Yeah. Michelle Harris: was the one at the bar where Jesse was even there. It wasn't at the hangar. It was the Mat: okay. Michelle Harris: hydro jug one, the one where they didn't even have the cameras there yet. Right. Yeah, it was all the Yeah, it was like people's cell phones, but then all of a sudden I think w a camera showed up 'cause then it was Mat: Right. Yeah, it was all the people's cell phone footage. Yeah. Well that's when Demi was like threatening the Michelle Harris: threatening to go on FaceTime Live. That was the that was the hanger. that was that one? That was when Yeah, that was just with Miranda and Layla there. Okay. And she was like, I'm gonna go on Facebook Live and like 'cause that's when they were calling Jesse. Yeah. Yeah, 'cause that's when she first Mat: Yeah, yeah. that was that one? my god, I can't keep this shit straight. Okay. And she was like, I'm gonna go on Facebook. right, yeah, because that's when they were calling Jesse. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, yeah. my goodness. Michelle Harris: like got confronted about the Marciana stuff, being like, We Mat: Yeah. Michelle Harris: know what you did and all this stuff and then she's like, I'm gonna go on Facebook Live and then the producer's had to get involved. The next time was at the Hydro Flask or Hydro Drug event and Mat: Yeah. Michelle Harris: all the girls were there and she was literally yelling across the room, like, You fucked Marciano twice and like this. And that's Mat: Yeah, yeah. And that's when was it Taylor that got Jesse to like calm down? She's just let her be an idiot. Just she's making a fool of herself. You just need to step back. Michelle Harris: Yeah, just let her be an idiot. Yeah. Mat: Okay. Man. This is a lot, especially when you don't watch the show. Michelle Harris: This is a lot, especially when you don't watch the show. know what you picture in your head. It's weird. I wish I wish I could explain it to you. Mat: it's weird. I wish I wish I could explain it to you. Michelle Harris: I wish you could just like project it out so I could see it. Yeah, it's Mat: Yeah. Yeah. It's it's I don't know, it's a lot. It's like it's like reading a book, like Michelle Harris: Yeah. Mat: you gotta make the pictures up yourself. Yeah. You know? Yeah. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Yeah. Mat: So that's what's going on in my mind. I'm just making it up myself. Hearing the story and I'm drawing the pictures. Michelle Harris: So the rest of the girls get there, Michaela says she can't trust either Whitney or Demi and she has a lot of boundaries set up because mom talk has been so fragile for so long. They usher all the girls to the couch. Jesse says that if Demi is truly ready to apologize and then she's ready to move on. Every girl has a glow stick around their neck and each girl will get up and once they're done speaking their piece, they will snap the glow stick and then they will be done and they'll sit down. Mat: They usher all the girls to the couch. Jesse says that if Demi is truly ready to apologize and then she's ready to move on. Okay. Every girl has a glow stick around their neck and each girl will get and once they're done speaking their peace, they will snap the glow stick and then they will be done and they'll sit down. That way they're talking over one another. Michelle Harris: That way no one's talking over one another. Mat: Okay. Interesting. Yeah. Demi says it's hard to be vulnerable with people. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Demia says it's hard to be vulnerable with people who don't believe her. She feels like everyone is giving her like raging side eye and Jesse isn't even Mat: She feels like everyone is giving her like raging side eye. Michelle Harris: making eye contact with her. Mat: Okay. Well, I mean, yeah, I come on. Michelle Harris: Whitney goes first to set the mood and she already seems very emotional at this point. to me she came off very sincere and very open and this was not just for the cameras, this was like her actually like apologizing. Yeah, yeah. Mat: Whitney goes first to set the mood, and she already seems very emotional at this point. to me she came off very sincere and very open. Okay. And this was not just for the cameras, this was like her actually like apologizing. Yeah, yeah. Okay. So she apologizes to Macy for not going to her baby mama event. She said she did Google the definition of regret and she does. Michelle Harris: So she apologizes to Macy for not going to her baby mama event. She said she did Google the definition of regret and she does regret it. Okay. She then Mat: Okay. Michelle Harris: tells Mikaela that she knows that she's hurt her and that they used to be best friends. She said she handled situations very poorly and she regrets that. She tells Taylor that Taylor has given s her so much grace and she hasn't given that to Taylor in return. Mat: She tells Taylor that Taylor has given s her so much grace and she hasn't given that to Taylor return. She says she wants to apologize to the group for her constant in and out, and she said it would be hard staying. It was hard staying when she felt like people didn't care about her feelings, but she's been selfish and she wants to be more selfless. Okay. Macy goes next and says Whitney came way more prepared than her. But Michelle Harris: She says she wants to apologize to the group for her constant in and out, and she said it would be hard staying. It was hard staying when she felt like people didn't care about her feelings, but she's been selfish and she wants to be more selfless. Macy goes next and says Whitney came way more prepared than her, but thanks. Mat: things Michelle Harris: But thanks Whitney for her apology. Macy apologizes for not being there for the girls as much as she could have been. She specifically calls out Jen and Michaela. Mat: She specifically calls out Jen and Michaela. Jen I understood from probably when she was going through her mental health issues. Yeah. Because Whitney was the one that was there. Michelle Harris: Jen I understood from probably when she was going through her mental health issues. Yeah. Because Whitney was the one that was there for her and she wasn't really talking to a lot of the girls. Michaela is interesting 'cause they're are so close, so I'm wondering what she regrets not being there for Mikaela. Like I feel like she is there for Michaela, but again, we don't know what's happening all the time. Yeah. Mat: Mikaela is interesting because they're are so close, so not being there for Michaela. Like I feel like she is there for Mikaela. Right, right, okay. And we don't know what's happening all the time. Yeah. Macy continues to say that everyone is going through things and they don't always realize that. She says everyone just wants a chance to be heard and loved. Okay. Jen goes next. She's been your favorite lately. Michelle Harris: Macy continues to say that everyone is going through things and they don't always realize that. She says everyone just wants a chance to be heard and loved. Jen goes next. I'm just I'm not I'm not a fan of the way she comes off. And maybe she's just uncomfortable in front of the cameras. It I think also it has to do with a a little bit of maturity 'cause she is one of the younger ones in the group. it just it makes me uncomfortable the way she talks sometimes and it just gives off immature to me. It just I I don't know, I just can't. But she Jen goes next and Jen says last year was the hardest Mat: Also it has to do with a a little bit of maturity 'cause she is one of the younger ones in the group. Okay. it just it makes me uncomfortable to look at sometimes and it just gives off immature to me. Yeah. I I don't know. I think but she Jen goes next and Jen says last year was the hardest Michelle Harris: year of her life. She says there's so much that she learned about herself, including that she's a people pleaser, and there are many times she played the victim and didn't want to see someone's perspective. She said she realized that's not only hurting herself, but hurting other people, and for that she's sorry. Okay. That was it. Alright then. It seemed like a lot Mat: She says there's so much that she learned about herself, including that she's a people pleaser, and there are many times she played the victim and didn't want to see someone's perspective. She said she realized that's not only hurting herself, but hurting other people, and for that she's sorry. Okay. That was All right then. It seemed like a Michelle Harris: of deflection to not have to call out certain situations. Yeah. And I feel like Mat: Yeah. Michelle Harris: Whitney did not owe Jen an apology in my opinion. And I think Jen owed Whitney an apology. Right. Okay. Because Mat: opinion and I think Jen owed Whitney an apology. Right, okay. Because Michelle Harris: Whitney was there for her. And if you really are Mat: Whitney was there for her. Yeah. Michelle Harris: not playing the victim anymore, that was very victim mentality to be like, You th you just use that, you just use me and you weren't being a real friend. She cleaned your house while you cried on the couch. Like like she wasn't doing that to get back and mom talk. Right. She literally Mat: yeah, yeah. Like she wasn't doing that to get back in mom talk. Right. She literally Michelle Harris: was like trying to like make you laugh and clean your house and stayed with you till your husband got home because she didn't want to leave you by yourself. Like a Mat: stayed with you till your husband got home because she didn't want leave you by herself. recognize and apologize for that. Yeah. Right, okay. Demise says that she is so confused when it comes to Jen and she feels like Jen Michelle Harris: Recognize and apologize for that. Like that's just one example. Right, okay. Demia says that she's so confused when it comes to Jen and she feels like Jen owes her an apology when it comes to the Marciano stuff. And she hasn't tried to see where she went wrong there. I don't know about the whole Marciano situation with Jen always saying there's more about the villa, there's more about the villa, but I was ceasing and desist, so I'm just gonna let that one go. But the one example of the Whitney, like, that is something she should have included and apologized for and owned up. Like, that was wrong. Taylor goes next and she says that she has apologies for probably to everyone in this room. Mat: so I'm just gonna let that one go. Whitney, like that is something she should have included and apologized for and Oda. Yeah. That was wrong. Taylor goes next and she says that she has apologies probably to everyone in this room. Michelle Harris: She's probably done a lot of them dirty. Taylor says everyone is gonna have isolating moments, so just remember that because you're all gonna want the same grace. sorry. I think they started cutting some of these down, Mat: Taylor says everyone is gonna have isolating moments, so just remember that because you're all gonna want the same grace. Right. I think they started cutting some of these down. Michelle Harris: just for time's sake, but Mat: Yeah. Yeah, she does I mean, and Taylor also like admits like pretty quickly after when they have issues. So maybe she's just like, I'm not gonna re apologize Miranda like we have already had that. Yeah, no, that's fair, yeah. Like things that you've already aired out, like you don't need to bring it all back up. Michelle Harris: Yeah, she doesn't I mean, and Taylor also like admits and apologizes like pretty quickly after when they have issues. So maybe she's just like, I'm not gonna reapologize to Miranda, like we have already had that conversation. I'm not gonna things that you've already got, like you don't all back. And like she already had her moment with Whitney last episode and she already so Mat: Yeah, yeah. So Michelle Harris: that's probably just either why they didn't show it or just sh yeah, it didn't need to be yeah. Mat: It didn't need to be said, yeah. Michelle Harris: In this moment when they're showing all the girls on the couch, I realized that as Jesse goes, Demi's glow stick is already lit, so they definitely did this out of order. Mat: goes to me's glow stick is already lit, so they definitely did this out of order. Michelle Harris: But like edited it in a way where it was Demi goes last. Mat: Yeah. It was Domingo's last. Okay. Michelle Harris: Jesse says that they all Mat: Jesse says that they all Michelle Harris: have been close at one point or they all have been enemies at one point and then it kinda like goes between like Jesse, Layla, Miranda, Layla, Jesse. Like so like I'm gonna skip a little bit. So Jesse says that they've either been close or enemies at one point. Layla says recently she has found her voice, but she feels like she has been overdoing it. Miranda says they all need to give each other grace. She wants everyone to uplift each other. Mat: So Jesse says that they've either been close or enemies at one point. Layla says recently she has found her voice, but she feels like she has been overdoing it. Miranda says they all need to give each other grace. She wants everyone to uplift each other. Michelle Harris: Goes back to Jesse. Jesse says they are all going to be thrown curveballs and friends should be there for you at the end of the day. Layla says hopefully one day they can all be there for each other in a more positive atmosphere. Mat: Goes back to Jesse. Jesse says they are all going to be throwing curveballs and friends should be there for you at the end the day. Layla says hopefully one day they can all be there for each other in a more positive atmosphere. Michelle Harris: Atmosphere. Michaela goes next. She's very emotional. I mean, she's also very pregnant, but she's very emotional. Michaela says that she feels like she has been projecting a lot. She tells Miranda Mat: Who goes next? She is very emotional. I mean she's also very pregnant. Right, right. Michaela says that she feels like she has been projecting a lot. She tells Miranda. Michelle Harris: that when she first came in the group, she was so protective over Taylor because she didn't get that growing up. She says same to Whitney over Macy because she felt like Whitney wasn't being a good friend and she had to protect Macy. She apologizes to both of them for that. Mat: So protected over Taylor because she didn't get that growing up. She says same to Whitney over Macy because she felt like Whitney wasn't being a good friend and she had to protect Macy. Okay. She apologizes to both of them for that. Michelle Harris: Michaela says this is the first time both her and Whitney have apologized to one another and meant it, and she's hopeful that mom talk can get back to where it used to be. Yeah, okay. Mat: Michaela says this is the first time both her and Whitney have apologized to one another and meant it, and she's hopeful that mom talk can get back to where it used to be. Yeah, okay. So Michelle Harris: So I think Michaela really appreciated Whitney's apology and in return gave an apology back to Whitney. And that's the first time I've ever heard Michaela apologize or acknowledge that maybe she was in the wrong. And I think that has a lot to do with the therapy that she's been going to. And 'cause I think that's new to her. I think she hasn't done I think she's done one on one therapy, but like I just think she's been working on herself a lot. So that made me feel good because a lot Mat: I think Michaela really appreciated Whitney's apology and in return gave an apology back to Whitney. And that's the first time I've ever heard Michaela apologize or Yeah acknowledge that maybe she was the wrong and I think that has a lot to do with the therapy that she's been going. okay. And 'cause I think that's new to her. I think she hasn't done I think she's done one on one therapy, but like I just think she's been working on herself a lot. So yeah. That may be fun because a lot Michelle Harris: of the times when Michaela's fighting with Whitney, I'm like, okay, but like this is a lot. Like this is this is extra. Like there's no forgiving. There's no moving Mat: Yeah, yeah, I remember early on, yeah, it was it like there's no forgiving, no moving on. Michelle Harris: on. There's no like we can talk about this. So that was a yeah. Yeah. I'm done with you. Yeah. Okay. Demi goes, Demi says it took her being in the outs to realize what it feels like, and for her part she apologizes for that. Mat: Yeah, I mean she didn't want to talk at all. Like she just was like, Yeah, I'm done with you. Okay. Demi goes, Demi says it took her being in the outs to realize what it feels like, and for her part, she apologizes Michelle Harris: She apologizes for acting out of anger and saying things she meant in an angry way. So not that she didn't mean it. She s said things she meant in an angry way. She says that Mat: for that. She apologizes for acting out of anger and saying things she meant in an angry way. Okay. Not that she didn't mean it. Yeah. She in an angry way. Okay. She says that Michelle Harris: in seeming to understand one another, they can come back to a neutral place. Okay. I I don't Mat: Okay. Michelle Harris: I don't know really what the end goal of that was, I thought again, very similar to Jen, there was a lot of probably very specific instances she could have apologized for. Yeah. And she and later in an interview she says one of those and one of those is getting involved when Marciano told her about him and Jesse. At that point, regardless of what he did to to you, even if it was sexual assault. Right. Mat: very specific instances she could have apologized for. Yeah. And she and later in an interview she says one of those and one of those is getting involved when Marciano told her about him and Jesse. At that point, regardless of what he did to to you, even if it was sexual assault. Right. And you're not friends with her, you shouldn't have been involved in that conversation at all. And she said in an interview like she shouldn't have done that. Yeah. Michelle Harris: And you're not friends with her, you shouldn't have been involved in that conversation at all. And she says it in an interview, like, I shouldn't have done that. Yeah. Mat: Then apologize to Jesse for that. And like set the example of like I will recognize what I did wrong in this situation. Right, right. This is what I recognize to be wrong. And it's like she doesn't do it in front of the girls. And I'm like, unless that would be really shitty, but like I'm like, Well, who knows? I mean, apologize to Jesse at the Yeah, seriously. Michelle Harris: Then apologize to Jesse for that. And like set the example of like, I will recognize what I did wrong in this situation. Right. And this is what I recognize to be wrong. And it's like she doesn't do it in front of the girls. And I'm like, unless they edit it out, which I would be really shitty, but like I'm like I'm like apologize to Jesse at minimum. Seriously. Miranda in an interview says she is not sure if Demi is taking accountability because she means it or if she thinks she needs to. Okay. She said she's still confused by all the explanations and doesn't buy it. Yeah. So they switch gears because all the girls have gone up and done their testimony, and so now it's kind of like the follow-up conversation. Cause you can't just like get up there and then everyone can be like, okay, we're good now. Like we've all spit our piece. I you leverage. Mat: needs it or she thinks she needs to. Okay. She said she's so confused by all the explanations and doesn't buy it. Yeah. So switch gears 'cause all the girls have gone up and done their testimony and so now it's kind of like the follow up conversation 'cause you can't just like get up there and then everyone can like, okay, we're good now. Yeah, no, like you gotta let her I guess you let everybody talk but then you gotta follow back up and be like, Alright, you said this but like Michelle Harris: Yes. But then you gotta follow that. But then you gotta follow back up. Alright, you've said this but like But we have questions and we wanna out out at you were talking, but so we gotta ask the thing. Mat: Yeah, like we didn't shout out at you while you were talking, but we gotta we gotta hash this out. Michelle Harris: So Whitney explains that they have a Barbie and on the Barbie's butt across it, like like on the shorts, it says mom talk. Like she has so Mat: Okay. Michelle Harris: she explains that whoever's holding the Barbie can talk, but no one else can. So it's a talking stick. It's still the same, but they've already said so now they can pass this. They can pass it around. But they're not still not shouting over. Mat: Okay, so it's it's still the same, but they've already said things so now they can pass this around and talk but they're not still not shouting over each other. Okay. So it's either has a question Michelle Harris: Right, right. So it's either like if someone has a question, someone can respond without the Barbie, but like it's just that one on one, like it's like that person's turn to talk. Taylor takes the doll and thanks Whitney for taking a lot of accountability. She said it was shocking and something that they've all been waiting for. Taylor says they would like to hear more from Demi though. Mat: Okay. All right. Taylor takes the doll and thanks Whitney for taking a lot of accountability. She said it was shocking and something that they've all been waiting for. Taylor says they would like to hear more from Denise though. Michelle Harris: Demi says that there was a lot happening behind closed doors and she said the thing that was triggering is not being believed. So she said she acted out because she felt no one believed her and so that's where a lot of her anger and resentment and like the the nastiness came from. Mat: Resentment and like the the nastiness came from. Right. Taylor points out that when there's a lot someone doesn't know, it's hard to give them grace to someone that they only see one side of. Demi says that Marciano came on very strong to her. She said that she never once did give him that in return, and she says that they never even kissed, and never once did she even call him cute. So, period, the end. Michelle Harris: Taylor points out that when there's a lot someone doesn't know, it's hard to give them grace to someone that they only see one side of. Demi says that Marciano came on very strong to her. She said that she never once did give him that in return, and she says that they never even kissed, and never once did she even call him cute. So period the end. Mat: Ha ha. Michelle Harris: And she says but period. Mat: Period. Period. it's that's Anyway. She says, But Marciano did sexually assault her. And that's why Layla points out that it's hard to understand because she kept talking to him and Michelle Harris: She says, but Marciano did sexually assault her. At this point, Layla points out that it's hard to understand because she kept talking to him and Mat: It cuts to a Marcy on a TikTok defending himself with screenshots of their text saying, I don't know why Demi is, you know, saying all this stuff about me is the text. Michelle Harris: It cuts to a Marciano TikTok defending himself with screenshots of their text saying, I don't know why Demi is, you know, saying all this stuff about me. Here's the text Demi says she never wanted to expose Marciano and she never wanted to talk about this. She said that's why she asked Jen not to say anything, because it stems from something much bigger. Demi says she understands the confusion though. Whitney in an interview says she's proud of Demi for staying calm and vulnerable instead of going to level ten to defend herself like she normally does. Mat: Anything because it stems from something much bigger. Demi says she understands the confusion, though. Whitney in an interview says she's proud of Demi for staying calm and vulnerable instead of going to level 10 to defend herself like she normally does. Back at the intervention, Jen says that she wants to say something. She says that she's even more confused now. She wants to be able to walk out of. Michelle Harris: Back of the intervention, Jen says that she wants to say something. She says that she's even more confused now. But she wants to be able to walk out of there saying she understands Demi and can see her side. Right. Jen asked Demi what her intentions were for DMing him all those inappropriate messages and Demi even acknowledges like, you mean like the oyster thing? And they're like, Yeah Mat: Demi can see her side. Jen asked Demi what her intentions were for DMing him all those inappropriate messages, and Demi even was like, Michelle Harris: Jesse says it was confusing to see flirty messages, and to me says, Well, it wasn't flirty on my end, and all Mat: you mean like the oyster? Yeah, yeah. Jesse says it was confusing to see flirty messages, and Demi says, Well, it wasn't flirty on my end in all the Michelle Harris: the girls are like, No, like you were flirty with him too. And then and then Demi says, and I didn't write this in my notes, she goes, Well, Mat: Yeah. And then and then Japanese says and I didn't write this in my notes, she goes, Well Michelle Harris: something about intention, it's important to differentiate intention versus something else. Like she's like, That's not what my intent was. what what do you Mat: Like what what are you even talking about? You're talking about comp. Yeah. Michelle Harris: You're talking about cum in a message to a man that's not your husband, so Yeah. The girls are overall just saying it's not making sense and they're kind of pushing back because they're asking about X, Y, and Z. Whitney then asked for the doll, and this does Mat: Girls are overall just saying it's not making sense and they're kind of pushing back because they're asking about X, Y, and Z. Yeah. Brittany then asked for the doll and this does Michelle Harris: make sense and that so now I kind of understand more where Whitney's coming from with Demi. Whitney says that even when it came to Connor's wrongdoing because of his traumas, she doesn't understand why he did the things he did and probably will never understand it. And so she's saying, so we may never understand why. Mat: make sense and that so now I kinda understand more where Whitney's coming from with Demi. Whitney says that even when it came to Connor's wrongdoing because of his traumas, she doesn't understand why he did the things he did and probably will never understand it. And so he's saying so we may never understand why Michelle Harris: Demi decided to keep talking to this man. Yeah. But like that's not on us to decide why that happened. Mat: Demi decided to keep talking to this man. Yeah. But like that's not on us to decide why that happened. Michelle Harris: Right. And so I I I do think it's tenfold because like it's hard when you guys are all sitting there and like there's this big accusation on the table versus you know Connor did that, and Connor admitted to doing that, and like that was his wrongdoing. Yeah. But when you have two sides saying Mat: Right, okay. I I I do think it's tenfold because like it's hard when you guys are all sitting there and like there's this big accusation on the table versus you know Connor did that and Connor admitted to doing that and like that was his wrongdoing. Yeah. But when you have two sides saying Michelle Harris: that this happened because we were, you know, flirting with one another versus sexual assault. Like, I do understand the girls wanting to get down to and understand those text messages 'cause it does seem wrong. Mat: that this happened because we were, you know, flirting with one another versus sexual assault. Like, I do understand the girls wanting to get down to and understand those text messages because it does seem wrong. Yeah, absolutely. I mean after he assaulted you. Right. And so and like I do I do understand the Michelle Harris: Right. And so and like I do I do understand the Mat: wanting to take control back to stay in contact to kind of Michelle Harris: wanting to take control back so you stay in contact to kind of c change the narrative. But for me that's not sending inappropriate text messages. That's like trying to like be like, okay, I'm gonna set the tone now and I wanna take like over and like rewrite what this was. And that happens a lot more than you think. That happens a lot, especially with women, 'cause they want to they want to not feel out of control when something happens to them. So they'll stay in contact with that person and they'll try to they'll Mat: change the narrative, but for me that's not sending inappropriate text messages. That's like trying to like be like, okay, I'm gonna set the tone now and I wanna take like over and like rewrite what this was. Yeah. And that happens a lot more than you think. That happens a lot. Especially with women. Because they want to they want to not feel out of control when something happens to them. Right. So they'll stay in contact with that person and they'll try to they'll Michelle Harris: try to fix it because then they'll say, Okay, well then that was my decision Mat: try to fix it because then they'll say it, okay, well then that was my decision. And it ended on my turn. No, yeah, I get that for sure. So it does happen but regardless, Jesse does say, Well, even without the messages, we need to talk about your Michelle Harris: and it ended on my terms. No, yeah, for sure. So it does happen but regardless, Jesse does say, Well even without the text messages, we need to talk about your daughter because for them bringing her daughter into something if he truly did do the stuff that Demi is accusing of, is very confusing. Yeah. Mat: did do the stuff that Jimmy is accusing of is very confusing. Yeah. Jimmy then goes to explain the whole story with her daughter, how she was on the phone, accidentally FaceTimed, all this stuff, then she kept seeing his name pop up because when she found out about Jesse and Marciano there were quote unquote she said a lot of phone calls. And at that moment she decided to move past the sexual assault and pretend everything was fine. Michelle Harris: Demi then goes to explain the whole story with her daughter, how she was on the phone, accidentally FaceTimed, all this stuff, then she kept seeing his name pop up because when she found out about Jesse and Marciano, there were quote unquote she said a lot of phone calls. And at that moment she decided to move past the sexual assault and pretend everything was fine. Jesse interrupts and says, to move past it to focus on taking me down Yeah and asks she's like Mat: Jessie interrupts and to move past focus on taking me down Yeah, what the hell? She's like Michelle Harris: she's like why were there a lot of phone calls? Like why did you need to get involved in this? Yeah, this doesn't involve you. Demi does admit Mat: Yeah, this doesn't involve you. Michelle Harris: that it wasn't motivated by anger and admits that's a sad excuse. She said that she was upset and feeling hurt by how their friendship had ended and she apologizes for Jesse for not being there for her 'cause she was going through a lot. Mat: That's a sad excuse. Yeah. She said that she was upset and feeling hurt by how their friendship had ended, and she apologizes for Jessie for not being there for her because she was going through a lot. Okay. Jessie says that she resented to me because she has always felt not good enough, and the things in their friendship between the contracts and the hair brought that to the surface. Yeah. Michelle Harris: Jessie says that she resented Demi because she has always felt not good enough and the things in their friendship between the contracts and the hair brought that to the surface. Yeah. Mat: Jessie in an interview says she may never know. Michelle Harris: Jesse in an interview says she may never know exactly what happened behind closed doors with Demi and Marciano, and at the end of the day she's upset that a greasy man came between the two of them and she's ready to drop the hostility. This is Jesse saying that? Yeah. This greasy man that she's now with. Mat: Exactly what happened behind closed doors with Demian Marciano, and at the end of the day she's upset that a greasy man became came between the two of them, and ready to draw the hostility. Michelle Harris: The girls end telling Demi it's not that they don't believe her, but it's about getting clarity so they can move on from this. Yeah. Demi says she understands why from an outside perspective it all looks confusing. So this is in an interview. She says, Mat: It's not that they don't believe her, but it's about getting clarity they can move on from this. Yeah. Demise says she understands why from an outside perspective it all looks confusing. So this isn't an interesting Michelle Harris: but she did what she could the best way she could, and she doesn't feel like it's on her to take on their confusion. She says what? That's your best. She said the Mat: That's your best That's your best Michelle Harris: only thing that she should have known better and done better was not getting involved with Marciano with when he told her about Jesse. So that's what I was saying in the interview she acknowledges that. And she kind of said it to Jesse's face that Mat: okay, right, right. Yeah, she could've said it to Jesse's face that she Michelle Harris: sh it was coming from anger but she I I don't know it. Yeah. Mat: Yeah, she could have apologized and maybe s said a little more to Jesse. Michelle Harris: But at the end they all get up and like her and Jesse are like hugging and crying together, so it seems like they're moving on. Whitney asks Michaela if they can hug. Michaela says, No. If I say no, are you gonna cry? But then ends up giving her a hug and then she's like, my baby just kicked Mat: Whitney asks Michaela if they can hug. Michaela says, No, if I say no are you gonna cry? Michelle Harris: really hard. She goes, my baby doesn't like you So I'm like, my Mat: Ha ha ha. Michelle Harris: gosh. We go to Taylor's mom's house for Ever's baby blessing. the baby blessing. Well, not Mat: wait, the baby blessing. Michelle Harris: the baby blessing. So Taylor says that they did not get approval for the baby blessing from Dakota. So they pivoted to a blessing of comfort. And at this point it would be whatever her dad thinks ever needs. Okay. So they're doing their own thing. They're doing their own thing, Mat: okay. So they're doing their own thing. They're going rogue. Michelle Harris: but it's still not what they want for like the church's formalities of it. Mat: Yeah. Michelle Harris: All the girls are there including to me and Whitney. Layla says it's weird Taylor can't do this because Dakota's not even there. She says, but even if he was there, he wouldn't be able to do the blessing himself because he's not worthy enough to do it. So Taylor's dad would have had to do it anyway. So she's like, So why can't we just do it? And she's like, Maybe one day this will change, but I highly doubt it. Mat: says it's weird Taylor can't do this because Dakota's not even there. She says, but even if he was there, he wouldn't be able to do the blessing himself because he's not worthy enough to do it. So she's like, So why can't we just do it? And she's like, Maybe one day this will change, but I highly doubt it. That's funny. Michelle Harris: Which I thought was an interesting thing. Like, technically the church wouldn't have even given Dakota the approval to do the baby blessing because of his standing with the church. Right. So Taylor's dad would have always had to have done it, but just because Dakota says it can't happen, like it can't happen, like Right. But he's not even worthy to give the blessing. Mat: baby blessing because of his standing with the church. Right. So Taylor's dad would have always had to have done it, but just because Dakota says it can't happen, like it can't happen, like the blessing. And 'cause it involves it doesn't just in it wouldn't just involve Dakota, right? Like it's all of like the men like in their lives in their church, like Yeah. Yeah. Michelle Harris: All of like the men. It's all the men. Like in their lives in their church. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Mat: When Dakota's a bum, like Michelle Harris: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Mat: alright. Anyway. when Denis shows up, Jen is clearly uncomfortable. Jen says it's so hard because everyone just wants to keep the peace right now and forget about the past. Michelle Harris: when Demi shows up, Jen is clearly uncomfortable. Jen says it's so hard because everyone just wants to keep the peace right now and forget about the past. But her gut is telling her that everything is calculated. Okay. She thinks Demi is a threat to Mom Talk's foundation and she's scared to be a part of Mom Talk when Demi is around. Interesting. Ta Jen are not. Mat: But her gut is telling her that everything is calculated. Okay. She thinks Demi is a threat to Mom Talk's foundation and she's scared to be a part of Mom Talk when Demi is around. Interesting. Okay. Demi and Jen are not Michelle Harris: They're both clocking one another. And it's funny 'cause I they're the two I have an issue with and it's like it's almost like Mat: I just funny 'cause I they're the two I have an issue with Yeah, yeah, you don't like either of Michelle Harris: like, you know, the two worse are like, No you're worse, no you're worse, no you're worse And I'm like, Mat: Ha ha ha. Michelle Harris: my God Taylor's dad does the blessing and the girls go outside to do a TikTok together. Demi in an interview says she's hopeful for the future of mom talk and there was a lot of taking accountability yesterday. She said the one person who she feels didn't do that was Jen, and she did a lot of finger pointing instead. So again. As the girls are doing the TikTok, Taylor jokes that they should do a vote to see if Demi's back in. Mat: To do a TikTok together. Demi in an interview says she's hopeful for the future of mom talk, and there was a lot of taking accountability yesterday. Okay. She said the one person who she feels didn't do that was Jen, and she did a lot of finger pointing instead. So again. As the girls are doing the TikTok, Taylor jokes that they should do a vote to is back in. Jesse looks at Michelle Harris: Jesse looks at Demi and goes, We don't vote anymore. Jesse says there is a part of her that still doesn't think she can trust me. Okay. So is she in? We don't know. It like ends on that note with all the girls. We do not Yeah. Mat: Okay. So is she back in? We don't know. It like ends that note. We we do not know. Michelle Harris: But they're all hopeful. Mat: They're all hopeful, but they don't vote anymore. So like when do when's she back in? Just when they have they all just have the feeling like yeah, I guess so. Okay. I guess we'll see. I guess I guess we'll see next season. Well, this there's one more season. Yeah, sorry, that was the end with the girls. I thought that was the end of the episode, end of the season. Michelle Harris: Yeah, I guess so. We'll s we'll see. I guess we'll see. I guess I guess we'll see next season. Well, this isn't th there's one more scene. Yeah, sorry. That was the end with the girls. No, I thought that that's where that was gonna end too, but we end on something else. Okay. right. Taylor goes to dinner and she meets up with Chase. Okay. Mat: Okay, all right. Taylor to dinner and she meets with Chase. Okay. Chase has invited Michelle Harris: Chase has invited Taylor to dinner to apologize for things he's done in the past. He apologizes to Taylor for the way he acted and treated her at the Halloween party and said he never should have been pointing and being condescending. Taylor says on her end she came in pissed as shit, so that didn't help as well. Mat: He apologizes to Taylor for the way he acted and treated her at the Halloween party and said he never should have been pointing and being condescending. Yeah. Taylor says on her end she came in pissed as shit, so that didn't help as well. Chase then asks, What's up with Dakota? Taylor says it's horrible and they are done. She asks if Chase remembers her mom's friend from the gym, and he goes, Yeah, I saw her like a week ago. Taylor says, Tell the Michelle Harris: Chase then asks, What's up with Dakota? Taylor says it's horrible and they are done. She asks if Chase remembers her mom's friend from the gym and he goes, Yeah, I saw her like a week ago. Taylor says, Tell the bitch I said hi and that she's dead to me. Chase is flabbergasted at this news and says that it's insane. Taylor says, Wow, if Chase says says it's insane, it must be insane. Mat: Chase is flatter gasted at this news and says that's insane. Taylor says, Wow, if Chase says says it's insane, it must be insane. Taylor asks how he's doing with Kate. He says technically they broke up Bundy. Taylor says Dakota got mad at her for following Chase back on TikTok and Dakota was like it's weird because you guys Michelle Harris: Taylor asked how he's doing with Kate. He says technically they broke up Monday. Taylor says Dakota got mad at her for following Chase back on TikTok, and Dakota was like, It's weird because you guys have a history there. Taylor pointed out that Dakota follows Kate on TikTok, so why can't she follow Chase? Okay. Mat: Taylor pointed out that Dakota follows Kate on TikTok, so why can't she follow Chase? Okay, fair. Things then start to get super flirty between the two of them and they even call it a date. Michelle Harris: Things then start to get super flirty between the two of them and they even call it a date. Chase says he's always thought Taylor was one of the coolest girls he's ever met. Chase asks if they should kiss for old time's sake and Taylor is blushing. Old time sake? Yeah, I think they used to kiss one another, like like kissing was fine, but they didn't do anything else. like when they were swinging? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Gotcha. Yeah. Okay. Mat: Chase asks if they should kiss for old time's sake and Taylor is blushing. Old time sake? Yeah, I think they used to kiss another, like kissing was do anything else. like when they were swinging? Yeah, yeah. Okay, okay. Gotcha. Okay. So that's where the episode ends. Interesting. Okay. Michelle Harris: So that's where the episode ends. Interesting. Okay. And they're like looking at each other all flirty, flirty, flirty. Okay. It does we do have a blooper though at the very end. Okay. So the blooper is going back to stagecoach at the Airbnb. And you see Michaela taking a video of Jacob and Jace jumping off a ledge into the pool. Okay. Mat: Okay. It does we do have a blooper though at the very end. Okay. So the blooper is going back to stagecoach at the Airbnb. And you see Michaela taking a video of Jacob and Jace jumping off a ledge into the pool. Okay. Michelle Harris: As they're in the water and Macy and Michaela are laughing, they had bought them the dis like the the dissolving shorts. And so they're like, my god And so you see Mat: As they're in the water and Macy and Michaela are laughing, they had bought them the dis like the the dissolving shorts. And so they're like, my god And so you see Michelle Harris: Jacob running with like a pool float in front of him and then his ass is like blurred out and then Jake Jace is like out there like trying to piece it together and like running it. So yeah, they did end up. Mat: Jacob running with like a pool float in front of him and then his ass is like blurred out and then Jacob Jace is like out there like trying to piece it together and like running it. Interesting. I mean, I've never seen said shorts, but I feel like they would feel different. Like I would think so, but so many people get caught with that. Like if you just if you gave me like a new pair of like swim trunks and you're like, here Michelle Harris: I would think so, but so many people get caught with that that like if you just if you gave me like a new pair of like swim trunks and you're like, here Mat: and I'd be like, Alright. What are these? Michelle Harris: But what if I said I bought them off Timu and we would just wanted you guys to match for a video, like we're doing like this trend. You know, like TikTok and buying some sixty dollar pair of swim trunks for you. It's like Mat: okay, yeah. When you bring the TikTok into it, I guess, sure. Yeah. Michelle Harris: I'm buying you a ten dollar pair to put these on and like let's go. Yeah, okay, I guess that makes sense. Yeah, so yeah, I mean if you you know all of them from Timo, so like that's why they feel like don't go to the bathroom yet. Mat: Yeah, okay, I guess that makes sense. Yeah, so yeah, I mean if you you know, they're from Timo, so like that's why like they feel weird or some shit. Don't don't even don't even worry about it. Michelle Harris: Put these on and go in the pool. Mat: Yeah, yeah. Okay. All right, I get that now. Michelle Harris: But yeah, so anyway, that was the end of season three. All right, interesting. Mat: All right, interesting. Interesting way to end it. Not just the episode, but the whole season. The whole season. Done. Michelle Harris: Yeah. Not the episode the whole season. The whole season. And so on Reddit, I was reading some Reddit posts about this episode and people were saying, I feel like season three just got started with this but now we're ending it. So they're like they almost were like, You could have cut out the whole beginning and started with like kinda like halfway through. Okay. Mat: Yeah. They almost were like you could have cut out the whole beginning and started with like kinda like halfway through. Okay. And like made this more of a point to see is Demi coming back? Is she not like Yeah, yeah. Like it just feels very abrupt. this is just like to me coming back. Yeah. Yeah, after just this whole shit show. Yeah. Yeah, but Michelle Harris: And like made this more of a point to see his deme coming back. Is she not? Like Yeah, yeah. They're like it just feels very abrupt. Like this is just the end. Yeah. Yeah, after just this whole show. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Mat: like we still don't know, like, is she gonna be back? I don't know. I mean Michelle Harris: I mean Mat: I mean people know, but I don't fucking know. Michelle Harris: I know s I'm I know some stuff from season four but I won't spoil it for you. I yeah, I mean we've spoiled enough shit already, so So you want me to say it? No. Okay. It's like what do you want then? No, I I I Mat: yeah, I mean we've spoiled enough shit already, so I don't know it. No, I've I've I've a lot of stuff's been spoiled and I do know a lot of current stuff, but I don't know if if Demi's back next season or if she's there the whole season or what. So I don't know. So let's not spoil that for me. I I'm gonna have to wait and see. Michelle Harris: don't know if if Demi is back next season or if she's there the whole season or what. So I don't know. So let's not spoil that thing. I I'm gonna have to wait and see. Mat: we're gonna do the full season three recap with John. Michelle Harris: Do the full season three recap with John. Yeah. So that'll come out after this. Mm-hmm. We got some more let's marry Harry, we gotta do episodes three and four. Yes. And I'm saying right now there may be a special guest. But honestly Mat: So that'll come out after this. We got some more let's marry Harry. We gotta do episodes three and four. Yes. And I'm saying right now there may be a special guest. But honestly, we're gonna record that in a couple days, and it's gonna come out before this podcast episode. So I feel like Michelle Harris: We're gonna record that in a couple of days and it's gonna come out before this podcast episode. Right. So I feel like Mat: I'm like looking into the future, but like going into the past when I'm talking right now. yeah, it is. It's like season season three, yeah. Episode Michelle Harris: I'm like looking into the future but like going into the past. Hey, it's like the press. It's like the press tours. Yeah. Season three Wh where are we? Mat: one, reunion, Michelle Harris: Yeah. Mat: the press tour. We're in season three. Season two's coming out. Let's Marry Harry's. You know, we drop that on Tuesdays. Michelle Harris: when you all are hearing this, you've already heard this Mary Harry episode. So it's like you knew the guest before you knew the guest. Yeah.
